So, reason I stopped to you is you're displaying expired tabs, your plates are suspended, you're talking on the phone, you're not wearing your seat belt, and we'll see what else we find from there. See our registration? Oh, no. No. I'm going to I'm going to keep this for a little bit. Yeah, everything's good. Okay. See our registration paperwork and current proof insurance. So, so see that expiration that says 1231 to 24. Should have been updated a long time ago. When I walk up, he's got his phone like this and he looks at me and doesn't get off the phone. He's still having a conversation. So, I figured I would just let him finish cuz we have plenty of time for tickets. So, um we're working through that now. His plates are his registration actually ends up being valid, but his plates are suspended. So, I'm going to yank the plate anyway. And uh we're going to see what else cuz he also gave me an identification card. Oh, he's revoked. So, he he has no license at all. And I'm going to tow his car. Your your license is revoked. You cannot get a license as a result of one of the DUIs that you've had. I don't know which one, but so I am going to take your car and your car is going to go to car jail and route. Is there any way I can have somebody come pick up the car? Nope. Cuz you shouldn't be driving and you haven't had a valid license in a very long time. So that is a uh that is you problem. So your car is going to be impounded for 20 days. So, that insurance policy is not good. Um, I called root. They said that that policy is inactive and that's why your plates are suspended is because there's not an active policy on this vehicle. So, just so you know. So, when when I do have it, so I just show it to the court there. Yes, sir. Yep. So, your first citation is driving while your license is suspended, canceled, or revoked. That is criminal in nature. Um, you're not wearing your seatelt. You were operating your vehicle while using a portable wireless communication device because it was stuck to your ear. So, I took I took the seat pump off and you didn't I called I started calling my dad when I was getting Okay. Well, one, you can't do that. And two, I have video. If you look back, there's a guy with a video camera. He's super skilled. Before I initiated a traffic stop for you, I was on your passenger side and he has video of you not wearing your seatelt. So, you did not wear your seatelt. And that is a absolute bold-faced lie. I got a Okay. So, what else is this? So, um along with that, you're using your phone displaying plates that are suspended for financial responsibility cuz your plates are suspended for not having current mandatory insurance. All right. So, we just finished up with that stop. He's on the way to a Circle K to wait for his ride and a Coke and a smile. He got five separate citations. not minor violations, but some pretty serious stuff as far as motor vehicle law goes. And um he's still not going to jail. He's got a criminal citation. So, he's going to have to go see the judge and explain why he did all of that stuff and see if the judge will buy his story because I certainly didn't. [Music]
