on the evening of November 4th 2022
local police are called to Universal
Studios theme park in Florida for
reports of a man accused of
shoplifting the following shows the live
footage of what happened during the
incident hello guys my name is Officer
parente yeah how are you tonight
obviously probably
not not situation you want
to day that's a good point
where you guys from
Highlands I'm
sorry Par County oh Highland County okay
the dress is on my ID the horse
shoe
okay you know about how long this takes
we're going to try to make it as quickly
as possible maybe actually fing even
sidewalk
[Music]
I'm sorry I said the funny thing about
all this [ __ ] is we went in the
wheelchair when we got here she fell in
line trying to get [ __ ] checked
through and nobody help her
then worry about this stupid ship
helping some Falls have
on go to the hospital after to make sure
it's not broken I would too cuz if it is
hurs
hurts it hurts all right here my ankles
and down the side of
my they
um they checked out with you their
health
services okay did anybody look at you or
anything no no no the only reason it
happened was cuz one of we were walking
through where sidewalk was like a little
step down and when I went to step down
there was a hle so my ankle rolled to
the side and I heard
you take all your stuff out of the
basket for you to SC through we just got
through there and one of the dudes that
standing there happened to see and he's
the one that [ __ ] F came over and
help you like y need a wheelchair or
anything yall can go sit down just come
back no one else gave a [ __ ] they just
looked around like that
sucks no was earlier in the day that's
what we just got
here I thought y'all had complimentary
work I did not have especially if it
happened on their
poty I that
me that's why I wouldn't have more money
to pay for these damn souvenirs if they
didn't cost me every [ __ ]
penny and then having to pay
for minutes away
I'm just GNA blow a quick hit out this
[ __ ] door is that okay if I just blow
a quick hit out the door uh just stay in
for right now thank you appreciate
it too much
you don't mind ask these are trespass
warnings they're just not going to want
you back here
oh have days you can work that out with
Our Guest
Services
um how we do that if closed I'm sorry
how do we do that if you're closed
everything was closed on the way out
here yeah it doesn't have to be taken
care of I mean you can do it in the
morning $1,000 for all our tickets yeah
it's supposed to be
[Music]
supposed to be anniversary to that's
better sh to
do I've never been here before was
[Music]
bridge I can't do nothing about that
today
uh not right now well if I'm trespass I
can't get on the property to talk to
about yeah you can you can call
them what's your last four of your
Social Med I'm not sure I try to find it
for you it's
okay
no would it be um a customer service
number at all yeah we can provide that
for you the customer service number
M sorry I just want to conf
wasted all
[Music]
this $1,000 for four tickets I know I
every penny I paid here
how long huh how long do you
want water
the officer proceeds to have a
conversation to gather more details from
the gift shop security
team I I can't
Universal unfortunately I can only
Supply
you can
call to contact for that info so for
refund purposes or what have
unfortunately I can't speak for them but
and you can't sell a ticket at all you
have your name on it right I'm sorry you
can't sell a ticket at
all I don't know how that works
Hest
so not well bur enough in that stuff so
yeah
anybody yeah yeah everybody does I can
ask that question you
um again not his department but his
Department yeah I mean you can supply
with the information of who to
contact me
[Music]
hey it's Oscar 371 how are
you good I know you guys are busy West
um on 56 over
here I have no problem taking the case
the problem is um I am working downtown
detail tonight and I'm not going to have
time to to process full um
I it I think they they said they were
going to get one yeah they said they're
going to get one when one came available
but what time was
[Music]
that so you went in the park walked
around
know but after that what did you
[Music]
do hey it's officer parente Oscar 371
how are
you I'm good thank you I'm
sorry um I know I asked for another unit
um the officer then continues his invest
tigation with the alleged shoplifter to
try to discover more
[Applause]
[Music]
information all
right you sit down
the get through this as quickly as
possible
okay all right we just some questions
okay you have the right to remain silent
you understand yeah
goad uh anything you say maybe used
against you in court do you understand
you have the right to talk to a lawyer
before inuring questioning do you
understand if you cannot afford a lawyer
and want one one will be provided for
you before question without charge you
understand y does anyone threaten you or
promise you anything to get you to talk
to me nope okay so obviously they're
concerned about their stuff yeah and the
manner in which you know everything went
down I know you already told this guy
that all the merchandise that
was yeah under the blanket or in her lap
or whatever was not paid for how was
that not paid for like like how do you
know it's not paid for how did you know
that
St I like I said he didn't understand it
but so I went over cuz she loves Harry
Potter I don't know [ __ ] about Harry
Potter I've never seen a movie I walked
over there's a sh one there he wasn't
listen to my story but I like a sh one
there I look over there's two dudes one
here and one next to him one of them had
10 shirt on like an employee here bad
and everything I got he work at the
store so I was like hey man you you know
anything about Harry Potter my fiance
loves it what what's the best wand I was
like Harry Potter and he told me no
Harry Potter that he his wand sucks so I
was like what about the villain I heard
he's got a good one no his sucks too I
was like okay well what's the best one
in your opinion and he handed me this
one he's like this would be best bet I
was like how much is it he was like they
run about $30 $40 I was like okay well
here's my card R me up for it
[Music]
gotta and then all the stuff that she
had I was just handing her cuz I don't
want to walk around the store like this
cuz they don't have cards or anything in
there for to carry stuff so I don't want
to walk around dropping [ __ ] so
everything that I was buying I was
handing her going back and getting more
and I was going to hand him my car so he
can can it again and we'll be on our way
but the dude never came
back okay so obviously it's stuff from
different stores or where did you get
all the stuff at the tribute store the
Halloween or Universal tribute stor by
like by like the uh by like the mummy
area yeah I think so it's called
Universal trib okay
what time was that at right before we
came out here so yeah on the way out all
right so what of the stuff I mean you
don't have receipts for anything I have
receipts for the two shirts I bought for
the sh I it so for everything else you
don't have receipts for
obviously I didn't want to ask for wece
to car around I just don't you know you
guys don't ask for when we leave the
store or when we leave the place
so for their purposes
what Metropol items underneath her
blanket were paid
for what sh under the blanket no
remember they're they're going to be
able to they're going to be able to
confirm all this
okay the opportunity to be honest yeah
like I said it's going to that's going
to decide how they're going to want to
proceed with us okay well like I said
the only two things I paid for I don't
know if the guy paid for the W or not
but the two things I physically paid for
with my card put in the machine with
those two the guy paid for who's that
the guy that I handed the want to and
said here run it for me cuz I thought he
worked here so I thought he was going to
go behind the counter you know enter it
in scan the card and come back whatever
you see so he didn't no so that was over
the tribute score yeah okay so you guys
you just held on to it yeah okay you
just kept it yeah put it underneath the
yeah put it with the rest of the stuff
and then that wasn't paid for it yeah
okay all right so you know that's death
right yeah but we were still walking we
were still shopping we weren't done the
store okay but obviously you came out
here I mean that it's leaving that and
then you came over into this store and
that's when he stopped you with the for
the keychain with the pin set a pin set
that's remember the one that was in your
pocket oh okay I know that
was I thought that was a card okay all
right well obviously they're concerned
about test yeah I understand I
understand I would be too okay
um all right how'd you guys get here
over off drop it's also pretty much over
okay and they're going to have to come
and get well we'll have to take it over
back too late now yes
[Music]
okay get you back in we'll be down here
[Music]
soon one
November 271 Linux boulev with the
colap next the officer then returns back
inside to the office to speak with the
gift shop security team and next
proceeds to arrest the suspected
shoplifter
77475 would make it E if I give you a my
card
okay well if I can't get over home one
of Y
me yeah worries we'll get you
right okay
let me see who's uh 108 over at the uh
real quick one sec
I only got one guy over there and he's
on AIT run
so all right mind if I just pull him
back here though okay
[Applause]
all
right hold up cuz now I can't find my
wallet gather up all the whatever stuff
you need
bull did they explain to you um the
trespass yeah I understand okay it to me
he was mean I'll explain it back here
too okay so the situation
with who that guy what does he do there
security going so they're not going to
want you back okay fair enough but I
don't I'm willing to buy [ __ ] right now
to
call obviously is temporary or
permanently in this case the
merchant the value of the
merch you said you knew stuff
but I mean is there a reason why well
like I said I thought the do was paying
for the wants and when he came back I
was just going to show him all the other
[ __ ] we had here add this on so
the opportunity for him to come
back I was waiting for him to come back
but last time I saw him he Ed me his car
and walked off so quick I didn't he bu
here so you just walked out and said
well
whatever you figure it was free or I
knew it wasn't free but I was like you
know well they're not going to pay the
pay the mine so you're just going to
leave that well I saw the line was so
long so I was hoping that you know cuz
they're closing at 8: it's already 8:
and the line is almost through out the
door so I'm like there's no way I'm
going be able to buy this stuff anyway
true I mean that's that's the problem as
soon as you leave the store obviously
you know reasonable reasonably minded
person would think that
stuff leave the store okay okay but what
I don't understand if he swears I was
stealing the whole time I was here he
was foll me blah blah blah blah why the
[ __ ] did he wait I was leaving to do
something about it him if I was stealing
his whole time he was following me the
the whole
place well obviously that's when he
first that's when they first noticed
that's they he told me he was following
me I when they found all sto merchandise
underneath the blanket so you know okay
he
told which I don't understand I didn't
steal [ __ ] until that just that last
store so I don't know he was following
me from where where I was stealing from
he still haven't said any of that so I
don't know how I was hold on I only was
one store all right and my intention
would to buy it to do never came back so
I left okay give me a favor turn around
am I under
arrest am I under arrest what for I'll
explain one
H I'm going to jail I will explain it to
you before you do that now I gotta go
talk
absolutely it's theft okay okay they
desire prosecution I'm obliged to even
after I offered to pay for it yes are
you serious yes are you [ __ ] serious
hold up no I'm going to explain
everything to you okay well I got to
take my phone and [ __ ] and give it to
her yes yes okay I'm going to give all
that all the information okay all right
hey I will coordinate with that's [ __ ]
up bro that's real [ __ ] up you said
you you weren't going to do this I got
to go talk to my fiance okay look I'm
going to give you the opportunity from
here I'm not trying to be a pain in the
ass I I got to give her my phone here
take it out absolutely I'm I'm going I'm
going to search I'm her right here dog
I'm going to call you and you're going
be
communicate is going to be my stand by
with her look at me yeah I see
hey come on no that's [ __ ] up oh we
won't prosecute I got everything back
your feet come on that's not right it's
not right it's not right treating my
fiance like shit's right doing people
like this is right come on bro I know
you got a job to do too but you also
have a [ __ ] conscience in you're a
human come on
now right
now they gave her the uh you know they
obviously called for you know medical
for her don't worry the phone your
wallet everything you can go with her
okay they're going to escort her in her
wheelchair to the front to where she can
get her ride and I'm going to give her
information as to where you can be
picked up all right okay make this as
seamless for you guys hey man as
possible you are polite poest one here
the best one helping so far like I said
since that [ __ ] came out he
started [ __ ] what the whole reason she
was puking and crying what up to him I
mean he called all this [ __ ] all he had
to pay was we called you we got your
stuff give us our stuff back if you want
to pay for it if you still want to pay
for it we pay for it drop it if not be
banned don't come back blah blah blah

for try to be pain ass it's just I'm
sorry that was wrong I will uh we her
