Despite the police's persistent attempts to persuade her to leave the restricted area, she stubbornly resisted, insisting she did not need help and refusing to call her husband to come pick her up. >> I exactly >> otherwise, you're going to have to go to jail. I don't want to have to take you to jail. >> What are you going to take me to jail for? >> intoxication. >> I'm not drunk. I would rather you carp at the district. >> The woman continued to babble and beg as the police escorted her to the patrol car. In the car, she asked to call her husband and expressed her anger at being arrested. In this scene, the woman can be seen trying to lean in to kiss the officer, but the officer quickly dodged and put her in the car. But I don't want to be touched by this man. >> Okay, you have to understand. I don't want to be touched by I'm sorry. You thought I should be touched by him, but I don't want to be. >> You have anything in your mouth? >> I know him. Will you please look at my mouth? I don't have any hair. >> Okay. Will you tell my husband where I'm at? >> I am getting it. I'm trying to listen so I get misplited. >> Why are you being so mean to me? >> After completing the arrest, the officer went to gather statements from several witnesses around. >> Well, there's a throw up. >> There's a big old ledge up here. >> Probably on there. >> Yeah, right. >> How'd she even get up there? >> I don't know. She was on this empty building. I don't know how she got there cuz you got to go through there and you got to have I can't get there that way. I don't know. And like I know me, but it takes a freaking 16 ladder to be up on the ledge. I have to go get some ice melt for this, right? And then all a sudden I hear someone go, "Sir, can you help me please?" And I'm looking around like I hear a voice. And I look up like, "Oh, and then [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you." And I'm like, "Oh, I'm not in the mood for this [ __ ] Just been a jump." And I'm like, "Oh, yesterday. I don't know how you got." It's like he was in between floors. She appeared panicked and said she only wanted to fight for herself. The PBT measures blood alcohol concentration through breath. It is commonly used to check for drunk driving, but police may also use it during public disturbances or investigations of alcohol offenses. You were there and I told you what the fan did to me. >> It's your last chance. We're offering you a PBC. >> Speaking to you cuz I don't know. >> I understand. Here's the thing. I don't want to touch him. >> I said I don't want to touch. >> You're not seeing lying. >> You gave me my one and only warning. The >> passenger seat to handcuffs just because of one sentence. I'm not leaving. When the passenger remained silent and confessed to having been drinking, [music] the crew became concerned, but no one expected things to escalate to this point. >> All right, not warning. >> You gave me my one and only warning. >> She refused to leave the plane, repeatedly [music] declaring, "I don't trust the authorities." And the police response left the entire cabin breathless. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> What's your What's your name? You checked it when you got on the plane. >> I didn't check it. >> Your company is actually >> Can you um get up for us? >> Okay. Well, we can do this the easy way or the hard way, but I'd like you to get up. Okay. >> You need to stand up and get off the plane, ma'am. >> No, I don't. >> Yes, ma'am. Delta Airlines is not going to fly you. Need you to stand up for me. Ma'am, I'm going to allow you to >> For what reason? >> I don't The airlines say they want you off the plane. >> For what reason? cuz they don't want to fly you. That's the reason they gave me. That's the only reason I need need you to stand up. I'm going to allow you to walk out under your own power, ma'am. Or I'm going to do it for you. Which would you rather it be? >> Alicia, can you do me a favor? Can we do this the way? >> I want to fly to Boston. That's >> the ticket I booked. >> That's my ID that I got on. >> All right. Here's your choices, ma'am. >> Tell me what did I do wrong. >> Here's your two options. You can get up under your own power and exit the plane or I'm going to deboard the plane and I'm going to put you in handcuffs and drag you off the plane. Which one do you want to do? >> Amid dozens of passengers waiting for takeoff, the police gave her an ultimatum. Walk or be dragged away in handcuffs. And her choice was, >> I'm going to allow you to stand up by yourself and walk off with me or I'm going to deplane this aircraft and then I'm going to remove you from this aircraft. Once that happens, you're no longer in charge of being able to stand up and do it on your own accord. We can see if medics can try to get her to come off. >> She sounds pretty intoxicated. I mean, she's swearing and all that. She said >> procco with a double shot of tequila. >> She doesn't want to get off. So, I mean, we can give the medics a chance cuz the captain doesn't want to wait. If >> the captain doesn't want to wait, then we'll >> Yeah. >> So, options here. We could try to let medics come on and see if they'll talk >> or if y'all can't wait. What do you basically say? >> Our policy is we have to deboard the aircraft before we physically remove her because we don't want anybody to get hurt from that. We can >> Medics are on their way. Maybe they can. >> Yes, they're already they're already in route. We just we're assigned to this terminal. That's why we got here first. >> Thanks for coming out. >> What are y'all doing? >> I think let's wait for the sweet talk her cuz she's definitely not coming. >> Yeah. And so we'll go from there. Um just wait here. Maybe us, you know, police are not always the >> Soon as she was restrained, the woman screamed in anger. I just want to fly home. But when she heard the reason for her arrest, she completely collapsed. >> You're not You're not in trouble at this point, but you're not hand off my shoulder. >> She's not there enough to even look at me. So, yeah. Go ahead. Yep. >> Don't go up there. Like, ma'am, we're going to start assisting her. If we need to, we'll put handcuffs on, but if we can get her to stand up, we can. But Nobody touch her. >> Sorry, guys. >> We can leave our suitcase. >> Leave your stuff. >> Leave your stuff. Leave your stuff. >> Okay. Sorry. >> Leave your stuff. Come off the airplane. Just leave it. >> Will you go in the row behind her? That way if we need to handcuff her, we can just lean her forward. Handcuff her right in the seat. >> Yeah, we're good. The guy sitting next door is gone. But >> ma'am, need you to step up and get off the plane. If not, I'm going to place you in handcuffs and take you off this plane. >> This is your one and only warning. >> Just pick her up. >> Yep. >> Do not take my belongings. Do not take my belongings. >> She's You gave me my one and only warning to get off. Why would you do that? I was getting up. >> Let go. >> Let go. >> Let go. Give me my one and early warning back. >> Stop. Stop fighting it. You're making it worse. Is she uncuffed? Is she unbelted? >> Yeah. All right. Stand up, ma'am. >> I got it. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Walk, ma'am. Start walking. >> She might not be able to. >> Can y'all get that that wheelchair off? >> She's got her bag. >> They got it. >> Why would you do that? >> Plane ticket can take you everywhere, but refuse to leave your seat and you'll end up in the police station. Yeah. So, even if she's not a even if she's not a public in she >> technically if you say get off or you're going to be arrested and she says no and they're deboarding and she gets off and they deboarding you still arrested. >> Look, Alicia is your name, right? We're just trying to figure out what's going on. We are called cuz there was a medical emergency on the plane. >> You weren't listening to us. Your eyes were closed. >> Yeah. >> Sometimes you just want to sleep. >> Okay. >> That's fine. You weren't answering us. You were ignoring us. >> Does not every businessman want to interrupt. >> Okay. Did you have anything to drink today? >> Yes. >> It's not illegal to drink or to be drunk. But we're trying to figure out what's going on >> exactly. >> How much did you have to drink >> today? >> Yeah, today. >> About six drinks. >> About six drinks. >> About six drinks of what? >> Port. >> Quartz. Is that a beer? >> Port wine. >> Port wine. Okay. Do you want a witness statement from >> Yeah, I just want to >> Well, do I go get a paper? >> If we can get one from just one of the the one who said she saw her acting strange and was it the nurse? >> Well, I guess the problem is they're going to try to get this flight out this >> Well, we can get the at least if we can't at least get it on body cam >> for the one saying they wanted her off, she refused. >> I'm well. I met one guy that I thought might be kind and I tried to change my seat and then >> all this happens cuz you want to change seats. >> Yeah. >> Maybe next time just stick the same seat. >> And that's exactly where I saw which is all my ticket. >> If you want to pick that stuff up. >> All right, Alicia. Stand up. >> Don't tense up. Ma'am, you're going to be placed on it. We have your bags. They gentlemen have a bag. woman being arrested. >> You're going to be arrested for criminal trespass. >> Woman arrested loses flight, faces trespassing charges and possible future ban. And that was the beginning of all the trouble. >> That's just calm down. >> No, you're going to arrest me. >> Touch me. Stop. Do not >> I don't want him touching. I told you I don't want him touching me. >> I said I don't want him touching. >> She hid in the bathroom sobbing, claiming she was being molested, but [music] refused to open the door. So, what was really going on inside? >> I'm just checking on you. >> What's going on? >> What's going on? >> I told you about being harassed and I'm not like I'm very uncomfortable. I'm not okay. >> Okay. Well, >> I need your help right now. >> Welcome. >> Okay. I'm a police officer. I'm here to check on you. >> Thank you. I need your help right now. >> Okay. Open the stall. I was like, "If it's going to delay your flight, I'm not going to delay your flight." And they were all like, "We're fine." But I was like, "I'm not going to delay your flight." >> Or you trying to go home or on vacation? >> No, I'm going to work. What do you mean? >> Okay. Do you want to come out here and I can help you out? What airline? >> I don't feel I don't feel sincere in your voice to help me out. >> I'm here to help you. What airline are you flying with? >> Honestly, no airlines. I'll be the last airlines tonight. Y'all just [ __ ] up my money, bro. Cuz I didn't want to make a scene for y'all. >> Okay. So, my biggest concern I mean, I got off the bank, so it didn't have to be a thing. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> I was like trying to be helpful, but like honestly, it's ridiculous. >> Okay. So, my goal is to make sure you get where you're going and make sure that you're safe to get there. >> My thing is to go to LA. >> Okay. >> I'm supposed to be at LA at 9:00 a.m. >> Okay. So, do you have a boarding pass or are they >> for for that plane? And they even say that you didn't do anything wrong. Like, I don't know who is tricking you, bro. >> So, do you want to go try to get rebooked or >> How am I going to get rebooked, bro? That was the last flight tonight. >> Well, do you live in Texas or >> No, I live in Orlando. >> They wouldn't just want anybody to get off the flight. There has to be a reason. >> Literally asked the whole crew. The whole crew did not say they needed me off the flight. They didn't. I voluntarily left cuz I know how it's like betting your flight. It like [ __ ] up my >> So, why do you think they wanted you off the flight? >> I have no idea. Obviously, someone doesn't let me. They're doing a car move. Like, whatever. It has nothing to do with the whole flight. >> Okay. Can you open the door so we can go figure this out? Um, no. I don't feel comfortable with that because I feel like the the whole reason I don't feel comfortable. >> Okay. Well, I'm I'm here. I'm not going to leave. I'm I'm Yeah. So, how did you get to Dallas? >> What do you mean? I flew here. I'm working three events in a row. I was working the giant balls game. We all came to Dallas. We're supposed to fly to LA and drive or no, we're supposed to fly to to Nevada. And then as soon as we we drop off in Nevada, we're fly we're driving with another vendor all the way to LA because there was no flight. >> Mr. chaos. The woman suddenly cried out for help. I will be the most civilized one. But why wasn't she allowed back on the plane? >> This whole [ __ ] plane of 165 people, they [ __ ] up their whole [ __ ] time thing. >> Well, do you want to go see if you can get on the plane? Cuz it's still there. >> I don't I'm not allowed on the plane. I'm not going to [ __ ] up their whole thing. You know what I'm saying? >> Yeah. Until they [ __ ] up. >> But if you if you go over there civilized, maybe you swear to God I'll be the most civilized person ever. >> Okay. Well, let's go. Let's go. >> I'm not going to [ __ ] with you. We're going to be here with you the whole time. >> This is all we want for you to come out. >> Swear. >> Do you have your boarding pass? >> Yes, ma'am. >> Where's your ID? Do you have your ID? >> Am I? >> Yes. >> Get it out for me. >> And you swear you didn't have anything to drink today. >> You're fine. Yes, it's too many. >> Yeah, let's go here. Just be honest. >> So, did you have anything to drink today? >> Is that against the law? >> No, that's a lawyer. >> No, I'm going to call a lawyer. >> For what? >> Before I ask answer any more questions, I'm going to call the lawyer. I'm going to call a lawyer. Before I answer any more questions, I'm going to call a lawyer. Okay. >> Are you flying? >> Talk to my lawyer. >> Are you going to Georgia? >> Talk to my lawyer. >> Atlanta, >> talk to my lawyer. >> Okay, >> we can both be ridiculous. >> They're running people at a D. Well, just hang tight. >> I will I'll be happy to leave. >> I'm going to go see what she did. >> I'm going to go see what she did. Yeah, this is totally not. >> Okay. Yeah. I mean, I'm just figuring out why they kicked her off to see if they served her or not. >> When she was announced to be arrested, she suddenly screamed loudly, accusing the police of touching her in the wrong place. But what did the body cam really record? >> Marina, >> please don't touch me if you don't have a reason to. >> Okay, I have a reason to. Okay. >> I'm arrested. >> Yes, you're going to be arrested for public intoxication. Okay. >> Seriously? >> Yep. Okay. >> I don't want him touching me. I'm feeling really uncomfortable. I feel like it was like >> he's just holding your leg. >> No, no. The fact that I was being arrested, I feel like I'm not like it wasn't in the right. If I felt like it was in the right, it would be to put every phone on people about that cuz it wasn't the fact that he's [ __ ] holding me like this is not okay.
