On August 23, 2025, police were dispatched to a tense family dispute. [music] When they arrived, the suspect was already restrained, but nothing about this case would be simple. >> [screaming] >> The young woman suddenly became [music] aggressive, screaming and resisting. Officers had to act quickly to keep the scene stable and prevent further harm. >> [laughter] [laughter] [screaming] [screaming] [crying] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] >> The legal command was clear, sit down and cooperate, but she refused to comply. Only two choices remained, comply or resist. Which one would she choose? >> [laughter] [crying] [crying] [crying] [music] [music] [music] >> Moments later, she broke free and tried to flee, only to be taken down and escorted straight to the patrol car. >> [crying] [laughter] [screaming] >> Turn around. TURN AROUND. >> [screaming] >> IN COLORADO, INTENTIONALLY causing injury or threatening an officer is classified as second-degree assault, a felony punishable by up to 18 months in jail and / or fines up to $1,000.00. The woman was charged with domestic disturbance, assault on law enforcement, and resisting arrest. Next story. A late-night noise complaint in Trenton quickly turned into pure chaos when the suspect inside refused to cooperate with police. You won't believe what happened next.
