This cop pulled a driver over for using the left lane and speeding. But the driver quickly exposed the hypocrisy, pointing out he was only following the officer who had just flown past at 85 mph. When pressed, the cop made excuses and walked away with nothing more than a warning. >> Why are you in the left lane? This is a This >> Why am I being stopped, sir? >> One, to tell you to watch your speed and secondly, remember to stay in the right lane, okay? Because it is a limited access highway. It's fine to get over when you're passing another vehicle. So that's no big deal. That's what that left lane is for is to get around those faster moving vehicles or I'm sorry, the slower moving vehicles. Okay. >> I I wasn't really watching my speed. I was following you. I was assuming that you were within the speed limit. >> I was above the speed limit. That's fine. But as a police officer, I can do that. I'm not writing you a ticket or anything. Okay. I'm just all it is is a a stop to give you a warning. And it's a valid stop to say, "Hey, listen. You got to stay in the right lane. Accept a pass. And also remember this is a limited access highway.
