it's a beautiful fall day
11 a.m what could possibly be going
wrong
i-94
in minneapolis near the lowry exit
this went out as an argument between a
driver and passenger of that white ford
explorer you can see him get out maybe
they had some words with the other
vehicle that was behind him which
eventually leaves the scene driver gets
back in his vehicle
female passenger back into the passenger
side in the top corner there you can see
the dynamic sign usage
they were able to alert drivers really
pretty quickly that there was something
going on ahead in the left lane
originally the
dynamic sign board said it was a crash
but they changed it pretty quickly to
say a stall in the left lane but they're
giving
good information to drivers about
something that's immediately ahead of
them you know this is a stopped vehicle
on the freeway cars are going past at
freeway speeds i would doubt the
passenger or even the driver maybe are
buckled in they've got the door wide
open
which is a helpful visual indicator to
drivers that something's going on
they're stopped in the fast lane on the
freeway this car behind them wisely
takes the shoulder
maybe you'd want to go around them to
the right but they've got that passenger
door open maybe you're concerned that
someone's going to come out there
if you're coming across this you really
don't know what to make of this
situation other than it's highly unusual
this is why officers troopers say every
day is different some agencies might
refer to this as a rolling domestic
radio traffic
at the time did suggest that this was a
physical altercation
you could see her foot dangle out the
door
i-94 is five lanes across at this part
and minneapolis they're gonna go across
all five lanes
onto the right shoulder up over the curb
i would not recommend doing that
it worked out for them this time but we
have seen videos where cars just get
blasted doing this there is no
indication to other drivers that you are
going to go across all five lanes
there's no way for them to expect it
state patrol is
in route and they're being tracked on
camera some more arguing yelling words
exchanged if your goal is to walk away
from a family argument to cool your head
by all means go for it as long as you
can do so safely but if your goal is to
walk away from an argument with your
family members or partners because you
don't want to get caught i'm telling you
now it's not going to work everyone
knows who you are we'll speed this up 8x
speed
there's only one camera so they're going
back and forth between the car which is
moving and the
suspect who has left the scene now is
walking away he has black pants so we're
looking for a guy with black pants
they do eventually catch up to him it
definitely takes some resources
but he's in handcuffs with hennepin
county sheriff's deputy car getting
walked back to the
trooper's car at m safety we believe
