A young man attempts to obtain a debit card and control of a bank account that isn't his. The man is attempting to withdraw $10,000. The bank employees notify police and stall the suspect until they arrive. This is what the police find. Sir, how you doing? Please come this way. Turn around. They have one video. Um, I'm going to have detectives come out here. We're going to go ahead and start doing the process. You have anything in your pocket that's going to poke, prick, or hurt him? No. What's going on? What's going on? Going off, sir. I just opened up and I came today. My car was stolen and I was talking to the lady and she was going over the transaction and she came. No problem. Did you have the information on the victim? Uh, yeah. I can get you that. Okay. We need that. We talked to them and they're the ones that told that confirmed that it was fraud. Mhm. Trying to see if any car pull up. Usually arrive. Somebody break. Yeah, I know. Somebody brought them. I don't know. That's the thing. So, they usually park over there. He tried to open an account with him, but we were busy. We didn't do it. We didn't do it. So, he did it online. Yeah. and he told me that he did all of these things, but it's all fraud that, you know, thing that's going on right now with the casinos and stuff that he did all of these. So, I asked him, "Well, what did you do at the casino? Why'd you send all this money out?" He's like, "Oh, you know what you do at the casino." So, I had him verify, "You did this, you did this, you did this, you did this." And he's like, "Yeah, I did everything." So, then I asked him, "Where'd you get these checks from?" Cuz it happens to be an our account holder. So, I can pull it and I can research it better. Right. So, then I called the account holder and they're like, "No, we those are not our checks. They're not. They don't look like they're checks. the signatures don't match. He's like, "It's fraud. I want to press charges."
