absolutely huge crash last night 9 50
p.m or around then in the city of
fridley in the north metro highway 65
just north of interstate 694.
one person tried to they had to
completely block off the road but one
person went the wrong way tried to get
around the
closed off roadway of course they
immediately got pulled over
again highway 65 last night
this individual this driver it looked
like they did get a ticket i saw a paper
in there then they
paper in the officer's hand then they
did have to tear down the entire pole
going across the
highway or that arterial roadway because
there's so much damage to it you can see
actually two stoplights and a sign
crashed to the ground so they brought
out heavy machinery to get this fully
taken down just the one vertical pull
remains this is an arterial highway so
it has intersections but near highway
speed so they're very dangerous and
those poles are fixed those stop light
poles are fixed the roadway poles are
breakaways and you can see the impact on
the morning commute because this was
converted to a four-way stop so those
inbound commuters had a big impact check
