A store employee alleged that a teenager had stolen the alcohol before spitting at her and leaving the store. Here's what the deputies did next. Is this your white vehicle over here? Yes. So, what's going on? So, I'm trying to find my daughter as we speak. Okay. Did she go north? North where? Like that way? If you look at me, that way? Did she go that way? >> Yes. You've been drinking quite a bit tonight, huh? Yes, you you definitely have. I can smell it in your you're kind of swaying like this and you're mumbling as well. I'm actually standing very still. Cuz we got all >> to find my daughter. She is right here. I got accused of theft. Watch your watch your words. That's why I said accused. I didn't >> No, no, they can still arrest you for accused. I went into the Speedway with my mother. I got a soda. After that, my mom got a flat tire. We were sitting in the [ __ ] Speedway trying to fill up our flat tire. I went back inside for a water bottle and then I got accused of stealing. What did you get accused of stealing, Alexis? I don't know. I just got called I just got told >> Calm down. Calm down. No, don't you stay here and don't say [ __ ] We got called because something possibly happened. We're not saying anything happened, it's just that's most of our calls is we get called, we just got to verify it. That's it. What is she accusing you of stealing? What is huge? The store clerk. No. Okay, tell me what happened. So, they've been here for probably about an hour. Sitting in the car? In and out. I went in there while my mom was filling up her tires to go buy a buy sorry, buy a bottle of water and um got told to get out cuz I was stealing. comes in, she goes to the beer cooler, looks, comes down this way, goes back to the beer cooler, grabs a V box, shoves it in the front of her pants and then grabs two Gatorades and comes out here. And she just yelled at me to get out. You were stealing, you have to leave. And I said, "Ma'am, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but I didn't steal anything. I just came in here with my mother like I just want a bottle of water." And they're trying to air up tire. The mom can't barely stand. Is mom the one driving? Yeah. Okay. So, I told her I was like, "You can't be in here. I watched you steal that." And she yelled at me and she told me to get out. I'm not even from around here. I live in Jersey. Can you pull her up on camera just make sure we have the right one? I told her to leave. She used some vulgarities and then she spit at me. Okay. You didn't spit on her, did you? No, I didn't spit. No. Did she like purposely spit at you? >> Yes. Probably on camera, too, right? No, sir, I did not spit. We're going to see it on camera. I just want to see that real quick. They sit here and lie like stuff not going to be on camera. Like if people be stealing at a Walmart and Target. I didn't steal nothing. But the cameras going to see you stealing. Yes. Oh, lord, man. Let's get back to it. I did not spit. See, there's the mom. >> They both seen you talk to me. How old is she? Yeah, I saw her earlier. How old are you? 19. 19, so you're Unfortunately. Like I said, for the two Gatorades. I told her to get out. Are you aware of what happened inside the Speedway with her and the clerk? Stop that. This is where she's coming in yelling at you. Okay, she's still yelling. Do y'all both mind just walking back over there to your vehicle so we can get out of the roadway? Yes, sir. Okay, but just use the crosswalk, please, and be Yes, sir. Yes. Are you wanting to press charges on her spitting on you or just want the trespass? >> Just trespass. Okay. She's already made comments. Oh my god. I just want to go home. >> Guys, just relax. Wait, wait, we we have not had good experience >> Okay, listen. I don't want y'all both together right now. You go stand over there and I'll talk to her. Thank you. Mom, please. I need TO CALL MY DAD. I NEED TO CALL MY DAD. I need to call my dad. You're about to go in handcuffs. All right, so is the camera going to show you spitting on her? Yes. Okay, so why did you do that? Because she accused me of stealing and I'm going back to Pennsylvania. Is Who lives there? Your dad? My dad. Okay, are you closer to him than your mom? Yes. I just need my dad, please. She's 19. >> I'm 19. Her story is she walked in and Hey, hey. I'm sorry. Ma'am, I'm sorry. Ma'am, I'm sorry. I'm about to be pressing charges for public intoxication if she keeps it up. I have you on camera stealing that V box, okay? And then starting an issue in here with the clerk, spitting on the clerk, okay? Do you want to go to jail? Because that kind of behavior is how you're going to go to jail. >> I know So, as of right now, you're lucky that she's not wanting to press charges, but she wants you she wants you trespassed. You come back one more time, you're going in handcuffs. Do you understand? Mom, please. How much have you had to drink tonight aside from that V box? Just that V box. You're not going to be driving, either. I don't even have a license. Okay, do you have an ID? Yes, ma'am. Okay, do you have your driver's license? It's in the car. Car registered to you? Yes. Okay. Stay there. Stay there. No, no, no. You need to hang it up. >> Okay. Hang it up, girl. About to tell you one more time. Like I said, you're going in handcuffs. When I say do not interact with her right now cuz I'm investigating a crime, that means don't. Okay. I don't want anything. You need to relax. I just got to have some water. Because your behavior does not look good on camera. The owner of the store is wants both of you guys trespassed. So, I'm going to get that paperwork. You guys are way too intoxicated be to be operating that vehicle, okay? So, if I were you, I'd call for a ride, okay? Don't say [ __ ] I need TO TALK TO DAD. HEY. WHAT DID I just say? Take a seat. I think I think the alcohol is playing a little bit of part in this. Stand up. I don't have anything to think. What? What do you say? Okay, stop. Wait, can I please can I just go pick up her vape even if I just give it to you? Yes, sir. Take a seat. Lord Jesus, man. Has your mom ever been arrested for anything? Not until we got to Florida. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. So, you're going to sit back there, you're going to be quiet until I'm done and then we'll figure out what's going on with you. expecting to drive her daughter and granddaughter home. Is she always like this? She always acts like this. She's in the back of that police car. In the back of the cop car. She's not listening to lawful orders, so she's being detained right now. Okay. Are you just here to give them a ride? Yes. Okay, as soon as I'm done with paperwork, we'll we'll get them out of here. I reside with my father. Okay, that doesn't make any difference right now. You committed a crime and that's why we're here and now you're being trespassed for it. Okay. I could just take you to jail. Okay. I could just take you to jail. I was what we can go that route. I just want my dad. Okay, well, you're an adult and I'm telling you what you did wrong and I'm telling you that I'm doing my job, okay? So, you're going to sit there for a second, be quiet. Resisting an officer with violence, battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, trespassing. The suspect was issued a $52,260 bond, which was later canceled after conditions of the bond were satisfied. Her case was later transferred from felony court to misdemeanor court, amending her charges to resisting an officer without violence, trespassing, disorderly intoxication. The prosecutor dismissed her charge of trespassing. She pleaded no contest to the remaining charges of resisting an officer without violence and disorderly intoxication. She was placed on 11 months of probation in order to pay all fines and court costs. Yeah, I I knew that I knew that was going to happen. Yeah. But the thing that I I want to say though And okay, do I have I have my theory because from doing these videos, I have learned a little bit of the law. Mhm. I don't I don't think they charged her They should have charged her for shoplifting. Yeah. >> But I don't think they did because I don't think she went out the store with it. Yeah, she went drunk. She said she drunk the uh thing. >> Oh, she went and drunk? She drunk it. Wow. See, yeah, yeah, that should that should have been a charge right there, man. Most of that. But at first I didn't think that she was drunk. But I kept on seeing her talk. Yeah. Oh, I knew I knew when she walked up to the mama she was I said I saw her later. I said, "Yeah, she's she's intoxicated, man." It's so crazy. But this is something weird. This is totally This is totally off the subject. It's off the It's off topic. But it's on topic. I'm not trying to be funny. I notice that black black people say call my mama. Mhm. And the white ones say call my daddy. Mhm. I'm not trying to be funny. I I done another video. The white girl call my daddy. Call my daddy. I want my daddy. And the black ones say call my mama. Mhm. I'm like, "What is that? Like, what's up with that? Like That's just something weird I just noticed." Mhm. I don't I don't get the thing about it. They always say call my mama, call my daddy. And and you What they going to do though? Like, what's the what's the purpose? I don't know. What you feel about this? I'm I'm just confused as as to why they didn't just charge her with taking the drink in the first place. >> Mhm. When she admitted to taking it, she admitted to drinking it, >> Mhm. and then they didn't leave the scene, so uh How is it that all these crimes were committed, >> Yeah. and they were both about to get to go home? I don't understand. I've seen similar videos, similar situations, different people, Yeah. and they went to jail for the exact same thing. >> Yeah, I don't understand that either. All this craziness I understand don't understand. Uh-huh. So, and they also said something about being in Florida. Mhm. Yeah. I ain't going to say it. I've seen go to jail for less than this. Yeah. Me, too. I I don't know what it is. Guess it's the the water. I don't know what's going on. Cuz I thought they should have got her gave her the shoplifting charge. Yeah. But the crazy situation the mama and the daughter, man, just like crazy, man. I'm not trying to say this to be funny, but I grew up around crackheads and drunks. So, I I kind of even some white ones. Even though I lived in a black neighborhood, it was this guy that I uh He was one Matter of fact, I used to call him a second dad. His name is Aaron. He's dead now. And he just loved white women. You see, he always had Just be honest, he he can't say nothing cuz he dead. He loved prostitutes. Mhm. He always dated prostitutes. And he had one prostitute that she was just good people, man. She took care of me. She take me places. She was just good people. But he also had one a little younger one, too. And all of them were on coke. I ain't going And the the girl the young girl reminded me of her. Mhm. And I And I when I was looking at her, I said, "That's a future drug addict." Mhm. I'm not trying to be funny. Mhm. But just just the way she act the way she Yeah. It's a look. Mhm. I'm trying to be I'm not trying to be It's a look that I'm like, "Oh, lord, she could be a future drunk or a drug addict." Yeah. Not that I'm wishing on her. I hope she change her life and get better. Right. But they have a certain look. They have a certain Like Think about it. Y'all know what I mean. Y'all can see somebody and say, "Oh, that's a future so-and-so there." Or he look like he crazy. Or she look crazy. You could just tell. And she reminded me so much of that that young the young one that he used to date. Uh she was older. When I say young, but she was younger than the other lady that he used to date. Yeah. And I was like, "Yeah, she she might be on some drugs in the future or on drunk." I just Then she I thought she was younger than that. I thought she was like maybe 16. Yeah, yeah, I thought she was, too. They said 19. I was like, "Nah." This right here just a crazy two drunk people just need to go to jail. Mhm. And could have been let off. I don't know why, but I was going to say the crazy thing is they both committed crimes and were going to be let go for both of the things. She was drinking while while driving, the mom, and she was stealing, but they were both about to just go and get trespassing uh Yeah, that's crazy. >> And then that's it. Like, oh, you going to excuse the actual crime >> Right. and just charge them with trespassing. That And and you know the crazy thing and you know the crazy thing about that is the fact that they were going to let them go and they going to go somewhere else and do it again. Yep. >> She going to keep on stealing. Yep. And I know I did hear some people say from um watching some of the other body cam videos and watching some of these um things on there but they talk about the law. They saying they are getting tired of just arresting people for shoplifting misdemeanors cuz they're wasting court's time and all this stuff like that. So, cuz they end up dropping them. Mhm. Mhm. >> If y'all make things a little harsher then people still going to steal. They won't even care. >> Yeah. No. >> You can't even do nothing. They still coming Yep. >> They still coming in and get food and still steal, man. They just That's just who they are, man. But I ain't got too much to say about this one here. Y'all come to the comments and let us know. I know y'all like Y'all going to laugh about it and then you going to say some funny things Yeah. >> and we're here for it. So, we really appreciate y'all.
