They just had >> Okay. My husband's there. My son's there. >> Not the Happens. I've had friends that it's happened to just you make a mistake. Don't ever do that again. Don't do it again. >> That's what I felt when I felt the cuffs on me. >> Yeah. >> Like, oh my god. >> Just, you know, just don't do it again. You know, it sucks. But, you know, you live and learn, you know, part of life. No one got hurt. Thank God, right? >> And you asked me about my glasses. I didn't have my glasses on. >> Yeah. I looked for them in your bag. I didn't see them. I figured they'd be in there, but >> they're in the No, during my burn. Maybe >> that's why you had a difficult time navigating. >> I have trouble at night. I shouldn't drive at nightly. >> Definitely not your glasses. I can't believe you [Laughter] take a while. >> Yeah, it does. This is the new one. Listen, I just had my crossing guard meeting on Tuesday with people over 85. >> Oh jeez. You want to know why? >> All right, we're going to take a deep breath and go for the mouth. Just one long breath. Continue to blow until I tell you to stop. Do you understand these instructions? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay, remember that one. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Keep going. Great work. That's just awesome. >> I have been to a Giants jail at the football stadium. >> You haven't been there. >> This poor husband, he got broke into it with me. He was just carrying my coat. Are you coming too? What? >> Yeah. Is it like all like giants and stuff like >> airport down there? >> Oh my god. >> Like you and the silly fan over there. >> Oh my god. >> People trying to escape and >> I couldn't imagine the fans. Some of the fans probably get real crazy. They're probably like, "Who are these people? You're in a dungeon." Like >> and then they go, "Okay." And they kick you out. >> Wow. >> Madison Square Garden. Same. >> That's I mean it makes sense. >> They say we're going to come talk to you. >> What are you doing in all these stadiums? I used to be a real person, [Music] >> but Giants I went for many years. So when you Eagles game, >> probably got crazy there, I'd imagine. Eagles fans and Giants fans. >> And my father, he went to Giants jail for a big parking. Oh my god. This is the burner. >> I have a shirt on. >> I'm going to have them send you a message, Joe. So, you live in the area? >> No. >> Where you from? >> Way down there. >> You live there? >> Yeah. That's too much. >> You guys took a hit in the storm. No. >> I All I do is work. >> I go from one job to the next >> and then tonight we got to take my parents friend out of each of us. >> Is delicious. >> Yeah. >> Okay. It should be sending you a message. >> You are under the influence. >> What? What does it do? >> What's legal? >> Wait, but nothing. The thing is is that like all right legal limits point but we're all built differently different shapes, sizes, weights and all these different things. So like you know you have like some people where it's like one drink and they're toast right >> and they have others where it's like the guy can sit there and drink a 30 pack and not feel a thing, >> right? >> So a 08 is different between me and you and Joe and the next guy. It's all different. It's about It's it's about everything alto together. You know what I mean? >> So even if someone is a >> DUI so yes you're getting a DWI. Um but what I'm trying to get at is is that even if someone's under the legal limit they can still get a DWI. That's what I'm trying to get at. >> So but I'm under the legal limit. >> You're above it. You're over it. [Music] So my license, >> all that stuff is handled through court. So you just get a lawyer and then adjust it accordingly. >> You go you go to court and they'll guide you through the process. They're going to give you a chance to get an attorney or public defender if you'd like and then you uh you figure it out. You know, I mean, have you ever had you got to do I >> have points on your license? >> No. >> You probably pay a fine. >> Probably pay a fine. And you know, I mean, I can't tell you definitively what it is, but you go for it. You figure it out, >> right? It's not like I'm three times over the >> You're just a little Let's see now. Oh, he's working on calling people. You >> said you take me home and knock on the door. >> Well, we're going to call people first. >> My husband doesn't wake up. >> Please. You guys are I just got to make sure I do the numbers first. >> You got it. >> So, driving under the influence versus driving your friends, too. >> Yeah, I've kn I've known people that have gotten me wise. Unfortunately, it happens. People make mistakes. You know what I mean? And like in the instance of my friend, he got his license suspended. He paid his fines. He got his license back and then he never did it again. That was it. >> But like my license, >> I know I don't like to tell people one way or another. I've seen it where people have walked away with nothing. I've seen where people have gotten slammed. It's It all depends on the case. You know, you have to go to court. That's why I go to court. the, you know, our prosecutor is a very reasonable guy. He's not out here to crush people. He understands that, you know, a people make mistakes and b people need to have a car to live to work and things like that. So, he's a good guy. You know, when you get my car, >> you're going to be able to get your car tomorrow. Um so um patrolling the bell will give you the exact time >> but it's probably you're probably not going to be able to pick up till like 400 p.m. tomorrow >> late. Okay. >> So what's going to happen is is you're just going to you're going to come down here. >> You're going to have to show us your insurance card cuz you didn't give that to us. >> Okay. Um, and then after that, we give you a form, you sign it, and you go pick up the car. And it's not far from here, so you'll be able to look at it. All right. Okay. It's not good, but you sit here for 20 minutes. >> Yeah. There's a burn off rate. So like when we stopped you it says you were 98. So >> probably >> we live and learn, right? Well, some people hit home. >> When was that? >> Sunday. >> Really? Was it bad? >> Yeah, he got nothing. He's a famous guy. He's on attack and blue blood and they took out power. >> How do you know? How do you know he was drunk? Listen, I know it sounds crazy, but I've seen some people do some stuff and their stone folds sober. >> Yeah, >> I know it sounds a heart attack. You know, >> I've unfortunately seen that before. >> Y me, too. >> Yeah. So, did they send us the numbers back? >> Did you put them in? >> Yeah. Uh, you said that unfortunately policy >> until you're done with us in here. I'm going do that right now. >> The box completes. So, >> so he has a few more forms to take care of. Then he's going to escort you back to your residence so someone can sign cuz no one's waking up. >> Thank you. >> Um they have to sign paperwork, but on the way there technically you're still in custody until you're given over. So long as he doesn't have a problem with it, I would say um handcuffed in the front until you get there. >> Okay. Um, this officer is going to also follow him so that way he can stay in the car with you until he gets someone at the door >> in case I try to escape. >> Well, no, because we have certain policies. >> I'm can't like officially release you until I'm a valid. >> No, you're not a fellow violator. >> This isn't This isn't a criminal charge. This is just motor vehicle. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Put it this way. Technically, if someone had a suspended driver's license, right? You think it's like something stupid like you can get arrested for that technically. >> Yep. >> There's a lot of things arrest people for that. >> They do. >> Yeah. I'm going to go in there six mile radius. >> Don't blame me if I know it's not. >> I'll be back in a minute with that water. All right. Oh my god. Yeah. I'll be back. are 10. Who's going to be signing? >> Uh, me. >> Yeah. >> How do I spell? [Music] >> W. >> Yeah. Same address, right? We're all going to get Yay. So sir, I'm sorry to interrupt you. So you can get like a public if you can't afford an attorney, you can get one through >> Yeah, you get public defender. Do I have public? Some people are like, um, you know, >> I have no money. Yeah, like I don't know or you know regular attorneys are like super expensive and like I know like there's a stigma where it's like oh you know public defenders suck. That's not true at all. >> Sometimes they have better relationships with the prosecutors and judges than anyone else. So like they're more likely to you know collaborate and get a good outcome you know for everyone. I'm just going to make a copy. >> Yeah, sure. and it just stays on your record as a DUI. >> This is not like All right, we'll just say hypothetically you go to court and the judge goes guilty, you got a DWI. Um, yeah, you might lose your license, but if someone runs like your criminal record, there's nothing there cuz it's not >> I could lose my license for this. >> Well, you get suspended. You could get suspended. That's a potential outcome of getting a DWI is a suspension. All right. So, what I'm getting at though is that you don't have a criminal record from this. Even if you're found guilty, >> right? >> This is a driving offense. It is a motor vehicle offense that goes on your motor vehicle record, >> right? >> It's only for the purposes of driving. >> Nothing to do with like being a criminal. You are by no means a criminal. Found guilty or not. You are not a criminal. >> But like my mom, she had it like I bet she had like three times before she lost her license. >> I don't know how it works. >> I can't give you exact verbiage. >> Yeah, it's like >> you can lose. >> And do they look at like the number? They look like what you were. >> Yeah, the totality of everything. It's not like it's very different if you're on your second DWI or a third VWI. Now you're looking at like probably never having a license again. But this is the first offense. >> It is a first offense. This not that it's obviously it's not good, but and you may get suspended, but it might like if they suspend you, they might be like, "Oh, well, it's only for this many months." >> Which still sucks, but you know what? It's not like you, you know, especially if you're crossing. >> Thank you for both of these. >> No, she's good, right? >> Yeah, man. You got that form all filled out. We need signature there. Beautiful. >> Um, >> that's Chris Wall. >> Oh, we just got to go over her prop. Just show her her stuff. Make sure her propert is good. Then show her sign. [Music] Smart. That's good. It's like my s can cook you in the front. >> Thank you so much. >> Of course. And here's your property back. You got your cell phone, you got your license, your registration. A lot of property. >> All your stuff that was in the bag that we did not touch. Take a quick look through that. Make sure it's all there. >> My orange juice. >> Hey. Oh jeez. Uh, what am I doing? Everything's still cold. Everything's there. >> Oh, for again at 71. I should have just ticker. >> Hold on a minute. Don't be unwrapping that yet. You can't smoke in here. >> I know. I need to get outside. >> Well, no. Well, I'm going to drive you. >> Once you're on handcuffs, then you can smoke while you >> Okay. And we'll go for [ __ ] right now. >> I'll let you have that. That's fine. >> All right. >> All right. Stop there. >> You guys have been great. Sorry, we do have to hold it to you, but want for you. We just got to make sure uh signs >> citations are there. >> So, here's what we got for you today. You got >> sign right there that all your stuff's going home with you. >> You got four tickets today. Okay. >> You got pay any of them. >> What's that? >> I can't pay any of them. >> Better figure it out. Otherwise, you're going to start getting warrants and you're going to go down. You got to figure it out. >> You got to go to court. If you're married to possess an insurance card, >> I didn't I had my >> You didn't have the card on you. >> So, listen. So, for that one in particular, >> if you bring a valid car card to court showing that it was good on the day you were stopped and talk to the prosecutor, there's usually some wiggle ROOM WITH THAT. OKAY. SO, that might not be an issue. >> Better to display your insurance card. Okay. And then you got the driver under the influence. And along with that, mandatory goes reckless. So that's the two of them. And also driving the wrong way on the Parkway. All right. >> On the highway. >> Yeah. All right. Those are the four you got. >> You have a court date. Uh >> is that what happened? >> Yeah. You drove the wrong way down Memorial Parkway for 30 seconds. You were driving off on the wrong side of the road. Uh, your court date is September 23rd at 300 p.m. I'm going to take >> Hold it up. >> What's that? >> Oh, it is. >> Rest, please. [Music] wrists again. >> I could have hurt somebody or hit a car. >> Yes, you could have. [Music] Yes, you could have. Okay, we're good. Let's go, ma'am. >> All right, sir. >> Let's get you to your house. My partner's going to be following us. >> Yeah, let's go right this way. We'll >> put the lights on when we get back over there. You know where it is. >> You totally know where I was trying to go. right now. [Music] >> Good to go, sir. >> Okay. Okay, >> back is here. >> Copy. >> I'm going to follow you over there. >> Copy that. >> Here's the paperwork. >> Thank you, sir. >> Okay. Feel like I'm missing something. I don't think I'll see you then. >> All right. [Music] >> Count me. 5148. Text this car >> 8513. >> Going to be providing a courtesy transport for one female from police headquarters to 19. Brier would have starting mileage is 14404.4. My partner seems to know where he's going, so I'm following him. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. Mhm. Heat. Heat. Which one's yours? >> Which one? Okay, we got it. Is this here, Joe? >> Yeah, it's a firm. This one, >> I think. >> This one here. >> I thought so. >> Oh, this one. >> It's this one. >> Yeah. Oh, >> the door is open. >> We're not going to go in there. You can go in there and get him. >> What's that? >> I will. I was looking for that page. It's up front. What's that? [Music] We're just waiting for somebody to come to the door and then >> Can I go and knock on the door? >> No, we're knocking. We have to knock. >> He doesn't wake up. What's that? >> Get up, man. We got him. I don't know where the second form of this went. >> Really? >> Yeah. Unless it's down by my feet, but it like disappeared. >> Really? >> Yep. And they were >> Joe, don't move. >> Wild. Don't even ask how it got there cuz I don't even know. >> Weird night. That is weird. Unhook you here. >> Take these off. >> Yeah. >> Oh, hold on. I can easily. >> How you doing? Just going to have you sign these forms. >> This is basically saying >> that you're taking full responsibility of her and she gets you behind the wheel, then you're liable for it. All right. All right. >> What do you mean if I'm She behind doing tonight? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Where's her car? >> It just got It got towed. It's in our body. >> Sign next to the X. >> You're Chris Wallers. Correct. Perfect. And then one more. One's for your record, one's for our record. >> This second one's going to be for your record. Okay, there you go. Perfect. Thank you very much. We towed the car around. [Music] >> She was arrested at 3:10. So tomorrow after around like 3:30, you guys pick up the car. Okay. And until then, she can't drive a car. >> So until then, if she drives a car, >> right? You're >> liable. Okay. Does it say where the car is on here? >> When you guys go to our headquarters and you provide all the proper documentation and they'll tell you where it is. >> All right. So we got to go to down to the headquarters first. >> 100 first. Yeah. Does it say it on this or >> I don't think it has the address on there. >> Well, no. We know where the head is, but does it say the procedure like what we need to do? >> They'll tell you once you go down there. >> All right. So, we have to go down there. >> Yep. >> Yeah. >> Not now. Tomorrow. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Tomorrow 3:30. >> 3:30 tomorrow. You come down. You bring a copy of the >> Oh, it's got to be 24 hours. Yeah. 12. >> 12 hours. 12. Okay. >> You bring a copy of the insurance card. >> We make a copy of it. We sign the paperwork and the paperwork. >> And then you got arrested for DW. >> I know that. >> Right. I mean, don't be you didn't have insurance, >> but I also didn't have my insurance card, so I got a ticket for that. >> I think that's the least of the problem. >> Okay, we'll probably see you guys back here in a half hour. >> All right, >> not a half hour. >> All right, we'll be all right, Trace. Have a good night. >> All right, guys. Have a great night. >> Can you clear that traffic complaint? Change it to ADWI. >> ADWI need for
