Stay safe. >> Okay. >> My girlfriend's house. >> Where does your girlfriend at? >> Okay. Where are you coming from? >> Ne where in Neptune? >> Uh Sylvania. >> Where does it [music] >> Sylvania? You said >> the street or like a restaurant? >> No, no, no. Uh Sylvania. The street. >> Oh, gotcha. Okay. Sorry, it's not. >> Okay. Do you have your license on? >> I do. >> Sorry. >> How much you had to drink tonight? >> Um, I had two glasses of wine. >> Two glasses of wine. How how long ago? >> Um I had my last one at 10:00. >> 10 o'clock. Okay, gotcha. >> Sorry. >> Okay. >> Um I know my license is in here. Um >> Okay. >> It might be in my like in my trunk. >> In your trunk? >> Yeah. >> Okay. suitcase back there with like my big zip bag. >> Okay. Are you registered owner at all? >> Are you registered owner? >> Yes. >> Okay. What's your name? >> Missy. >> Missy? >> Yes. Missy with a >> Okay. Hold on. Let me just take my notes out here. You have a valid license? >> I do. >> Also, you have no inspection sticker on this car. Is there a reason why? >> Um, it's a not a loaner. It's a like I lease it. >> Gotcha. >> I don't know if I know you're supposed to have >> Yeah. Every every car short of the state in Jersey has to have an inspection sticker. >> I didn't realize. >> What's your name? >> Misty. M I S T Y. >> M I S T Y. >> Yes. >> Do you have a middle initial, Misty? >> L. >> L. What about your last name? >> Williams. >> W I L I A M S. >> Okay. keep looking for all your documents and try to have them ready when I come back. Okay, I'll be right back with you. Oh, just so you know, the reason I'm stopping you is you're going 74 miles an hour. It's a 40 here. Is there any reason you're going that quick? >> Honestly, I was cruising and jamming and I didn't >> Pete, you said 74 or 64. >> I'm sorry. 64 miles an hour, not 74. >> I didn't think it. >> Yeah, 64 is pretty fast. No, it's pretty quick. I had you on radar at 58 and then my partner was coming at you and had you on radar at 64. So you were just consistently accelerating. Okay. Um so just hang tight. I'll be right back with you. Right. >> No, I I thought you said 74 on the radio. Okay. Well, regardless regardless I Oh, by the way, she's coming out for testing because I could radar. You >> got a dog in there. >> You got a dog in there, too. Yeah. Of course, she said she had two glasses of wine. Last glass of wine was uh less than an hour ago coming from Neptune. Small alcohol, so I wouldn't be surprised if she's drunk. Yeah, dude. And then she passed me doing 58 and I did a very exaggerated U-turn to come behind her and like I was cruising to come up her and I thought she was taking off of me cuz she went when she went by me she dude it was just increase increase and that's why when like she was pulling away drastically I saw him bang like come over to the side of the road to go do a U-turn to come after >> and uh and I was like that's when I got the radio. I was like Pete where do you got her at? >> Cuz like she was moving. Yeah. >> 33 279. We'll have one out for testing. >> Oh, she's got zero inspection sticker on that car, too. I looked. I was like, no front plate, too, I think. You want me to back up? >> I got enough room here. You >> sure? >> Yeah. >> How we doing on the paperwork, miss? >> Um, I have my ID. >> Okay. >> Yep. Perfect. I'll take your license. I This is team one I found. Okay. Give me a second. Right. Yeah, it's still chilly out. >> Hey, miss. Why don't you not worry about the paperwork right now? So, since you had something to drink less than an hour ago, I just want to make sure you're good to drive. Would you mind trying stepping out to do a quick few quick tests for me? >> Great. Do you have a jacket or something? Like a heavier jacket in your car? or a sweatshirt. Yeah, why don't you throw that on? A little chilly out. Just want you to be uh as warm as possible. Watch your stuff getting out. Okay, perfect. You can just walk over back here. >> Do you mind if I >> Yep, that's fine. Yeah, you just walk behind your vehicle over here. Right there. And just stand right behind the rear bump of your car. All right, Z. You should zip that up. >> I I I can't. >> Uh, don't worry about that. You can just keep it there. Okay. You got any eye issues? >> Uh, just I need glasses relative. >> Oh, keep keep your off your glasses off for now. Um, wearing contacts right now? >> No. Any documented eye issues? >> No. Okay. So, first test, I want you to put your feet together just like mine are. Just put them all together. Perfect. And your hands down by your sides. You can keep in your pockets. That's fine. Or that's fine, too. Okay. So, can you see the big fat red light on the other pen? No problem seeing it, right? >> No. >> Okay. Keeping your head straight and level with me. I want you to follow that light with just your eyes and your eyes only. Don't move your head. >> Do you understand? >> Okay. Just going to go up this time. Okay. Perfect. Okay. So, do you have any physical injuries or disabilities that prevent you doing a walking test? No. Okay. So, I'm going to have you do for the next test is right where you're at, I want you to imagine a line on the ground in front of you. Okay. Okay. What I want you to do is the start position is put your left foot in the line just like this. Your left foot. Perfect. And put your right foot touching heel toe at your left just like mine are. Heel to toe please. Perfect. And keep your hands down by your sides. Just put your heel to toe. Just put your feet in line with each other. See how mine are touching? In line. Heel to toe. Look how mine are heel to toe. >> I'm I'm touching. >> You're not You're not in line. Put your feet in line. perfectly in line just like mine are. Perfect. Okay. Stay right there while I demonstrate and explain this test to you. Do you understand? Okay. So, when I tell you to start, you're going to take nine heel toe steps down that magic line in front of you. Once you reach step nine, keep that lead foot planted. Turn yourself around at a series of small steps. Once you're fully turned around, take nine more heel toe steps back down the same line. Okay? It's going to look like this. One, two, three. Keep your lead foot planted just like mine is. Turn yourself around. One, two, three. The only difference is you're going to walk to nine in each direction. Okay. Some things to note during this test. You saw I continued to walk in the straight line, heel to toe. I kept my hands down by my sides the entire time. I counted my steps out loud and I did not stop walking the entire time during the test. Okay. Do you have any questions for me? >> You want me to walk? Nine. >> Yep. >> Turn around. Walk nine. Count them out loud. >> Correct. Nine. Turn just the way I showed you. Keep the leaf foot planted with a few series of small steps. Now we're back the entire time. Counting out loud. Okay. Do you have any questions? Just put your hands down by your sides. >> Out of my pockets, right? >> Yeah. Out of your pockets. Yep. Here we go. >> Hands down by your sides. >> Now I'm back. Okay. Are you hurt after that test? >> I have a like weird bone in my foot that hurts, but that's not >> You have a weird bone in your Did it just start hurting now after that test? >> That's a normal thing. I was trying. >> Gotcha. No, it's okay. Um, what what is the weird bone in your foot from? Is it from surgery? Is it from >> It broke it like three years ago. >> But it's not It doesn't prevent you from walking or balancing, right? Okay. So, it's in your right foot or left foot? >> Right foot. >> Right foot. Okay. >> Right or left? Great. >> Okay. So, what I want you to do for the next test is put your feet together just like mine are and put your hands down by your sides. I want you to stay in that position the entire time while I demonstrate and explain this next test for you. Okay? You understand? Okay. So, when I tell you to start now, you said your right foot is want the injury, right? Okay. So, what I would recommend you do is this is called the one leg stand. So, you got to stand on one foot and keep your foot level and parallel to the ground. What I'd recommend you do is keep your left foot planted and raise the foot that you have pain in. Does that make sense? Okay. So, you're going to do it just like I am right now. Now, you can see. Nope. Just watch me. So, you can see I have my foot level and parallel to the ground. Just like that. Level and parallel. Not like this. Not like this. Level and parallel. While my foot's level and parallel to the ground, I'm going to keep my hands down by my sides just like this. I'm going to look down at that raised foot, keeping my knees straight, not bent. Looking down at the raised foot, you're going to count out loud. 1,002 1,003 all the way until I tell you to stop. Now, if you happen to put your foot on the ground during this test, I want you to pick your foot right back up and count from where you left off. It's got to look like this. 1001 1002 1003 1004 That's the whole test. Do you have any questions? >> Uh is there a number I count to or >> Nope. You just keep counting just like that until I tell you to stop. Okay. Any other questions? >> Uh is there like a certain height that I need to raise to? >> Approximately six inches. So I'll show you again. It looks like this. See how my foot is approximately six inches off the ground, >> right? >> Not not really close like this. Also not really high. It's about six inches. About the size of a soda can. A typical soda can. Okay. Um, do you have any other questions for me? >> No. So, you understand the test? >> Okay. Give me one second. All right. You can begin. 2009 2011 2012 2016 you can stop. Okay. Uh hold on one second. 41. >> You think so? >> Yeah. >> Um but uh why? What do you think? >> Think so. >> I don't know. HDM is I saw I saw through Florida. What' you get 66? >> I got six. >> I I was at a bad angle for the uh for the >> I'll do I'll do Romberg. I'll do Romberg, too, just to have a little more. All right, miss. So, I'm going to do one more test with you just to uh further evaluate you. So, just put your feet together just like this. Keep your hands down over your sides. I want you to stay in that position while I demonstrate, explain this test to you. Okay? So, when I tell you to start, you're going to tilt your head back and you're close your eyes. And once you believe 30 seconds has gone by, you're bring your head back down, open your eyes, and say the word stop. It's the whole test. Okay? >> That's >> Yep. I'm going to demonstrate a short version for you now. It's going to look like this. I'll say start, stop. It's the whole test. And you want me to go for 30 seconds? >> You're going to go for 30 seconds once you believe 30 seconds has gone by. Any questions about that? >> No. >> No. Okay, you can begin. How did you count? >> How did you count? Like one Mississippi, two just like that. And you went up to 30. >> Okay, gotcha. So that was 42. Almost 43 seconds. Okay. So do me a favor. I think you've had too much to drink tonight. So I have to place DWI. Can you turn around face away from me, please? Put your hands behind your back. Thank you. Do you have anything on me that's going to hook me hook me? Uh, hurt me, poke me, stick me, or stab me. Okay. >> I don't know how friendly he is or not, you know. So, I'm always kind of cautious around. >> Those don't those don't hurt, right, miss? >> Okay. He's very funny. >> We'll get it for you. All right. Nothing on you. Right. I'm just going to do a quick search for weapons. Okay. I'm just going to pat you down with the outside of my hand. Okay. No guns, weapons, bombs, drugs, guns, or anything. Right. Okay. All right. I'm going walk you back to my car now. Okay. 3320 some kind one female 414 450. Can you send Bers for a hook? Just hang tight right there. Okay. Just watch your stuff get in. Uh let me move that seat body away real quick. Okay. Just watch your watch your step get in. Okay. Is there anything in the vehicle I have to worry about? Guns, drugs, bob bombs, anything like that. Okay. All right. Get me right back with you. Okay. Yeah. The uh Ron Romberg solidified it. >> Absolutely. >> She might be crossed, too. What's up? >> That's what I'm saying. No inspection sticker for sure. Hi, puppy. She said he's really friendly, apparently. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. Hi. >> What we'll do is if she wants to call a friend, pick up the dog. >> Yeah. >> We'll let her uh contact. I don't know. Probably, you know, back to headquarters. I >> I think we should bring it back to headquarters and let him pick it up from headquarters. It's going to take a while to get here. Just regular water. >> [snorts] >> Hi puppy. Hi. Hello. It's okay. Hi buddy buddy. Hi buddy buddy. Okay. Puppy. Big puppy. Oh, what is that? Hello. >> Yep, that's it. Look at that. >> Come here. >> Come here, bud. >> Open container. >> What are you doing, you good boy? >> Open container right there. >> Yep. Take that. Peek. Can you grab her? Um I put it on the front or there. Taking that purse with her. Plus, this has a computer in it. So, I'm going to take this with her, too. She probably wants this to go. Yeah, there's wine in that. Hey, miss. What I did was I saw you. I grabbed your purse with your wallet and your phone in it. I grabbed your phone charger from out of there and you had a laptop in that one backpack. I just took the whole backpack with you to headquarters so that it doesn't remain in the impound overnight. Okay. >> Is that okay? Yeah. >> Okay. Do you want anything you want any else out of the vehicle? >> Um, my dog >> Well, your dog is definitely coming out of the car, right? Can't leave him in there. Um, is there anything else? >> Um, >> no. >> No. Sorry. I'm trying to go. It's my It's my work. >> I'll I'll take a quick look and see if there's any other valuables in there. Okay. >> No. As long as there's a purse backpack in the front, um, everything else should be fine. >> Okay. You got it. >> What's your dog's name? >> What's your dog's name? >> Finn. >> Finn. >> Finn. >> Okay. Hey Pete, >> good call. >> You must be a dog owner. That's >> not >> because that's something I would do with my dog. >> I just want to go chase him. >> Hey puppy window. >> Yeah, I was going to leash it from the front seat and then just >> Hey buddy. Buddy buddy. >> Hey Finn. How are you buddy? No, don't run out. I got you. >> You got him. >> You want to go for a ride? >> Jesus. >> Go for a ride. Come on, pup. Come on, pup. What's that? >> All right. Nothing else in this car. >> Are you sitting on this? >> Oh, I appreciate that, man. Thank you. Yeah, it's it's a fob. It's got um >> it's got the on the dash. >> You sure you're cool with sitting on this? >> Good, man. >> Positive. >> Thank you. I appreciate that, Drew. >> [snorts] >> 3320 telling star mileage vehicle 223 >> 45350.0 Zero. 1312 >> I'll be 3327 4316 is going to be kind enough to put the vehicle for the tower. I have one K9 in tow I can't hear you, miss. >> You can ask me anything you want. >> Don't want your dog to go where? >> We're We're not We're not taking your dog to the SPC or anything. We're just taking him back to the police department so he didn't sit in the in the impound lot. So, you're going to get released tonight because DWI is a motor vehicle summons. So, you're going to get released no matter what. You'll have to call for someone to come and pick you up. Um, but we can release if you want to wait for your dog or if you want to wait if you want to keep your dog at headquarters and wait until you're released, then we can just keep him at headquarters and then we can release your dog with you. Um, if you feel more comfortable with getting someone here right away to take him and not wait like the probably 45 minutes to an hour it takes to process you, then um, you could call someone. But I should have you out of headquarters in the next 45 minutes to an hour. Okay, no problem. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. Okay. >> [snorts] >> 3320 some Kai throwing endalia headquarters >> 453 51.4 I'll put Finn in there with me. I'll just like hang out, you know? >> Okay. Just watch your step getting out. Okay. Okay. Going to go up this door right next to the other officer. You go in to your left and I will take those handcuffs off in a second. Okay, just turn around. Thank you. Any other officer has your dog? He's going to bring him in here now. Okay. 33207. Time stamp 20 minute observation. Okay.
