What's good everybody? Welcome back to Body Cam vibes. Back with another body cam video. We're going to react and discuss today. Shout out to Police Activity for this video. This look like it's going to be a good one. Ain't going to waste no time. Let's get into it. Hey, see the American flag over there? As always, united we stand. Divided we fall. US Marshals with a warrant. Come to the door. US Marshals, come to the door. Back door open. US Marshals with a warrant. Come to the door or we will break it. Camera back here. Camera right there. US Marshals with a warrant. Come on out. Come on out. Come on out. Come on out. Hello. Come on out. Come on out. Is your son here, ma'am? No. Okay. Well, this is where your son is registered. All right. What's going on? Thanks for that. This is where he's registered. So, we're going to have to search the premises, okay? Why do I have to leave? All right. Thank you. Is there anyone else in the house? No. Just me. All right. Thank you. John, it's US Marshals. We're here to collect on your warrant, buddy. Where you at? Come out with your hands up. After 4 months on the run, US Marshals finally closed in on a multi-state fugitive, >> [music] >> a convicted sex offender who had vanished without a trace. Though his mother claimed he wasn't there, the Marshals knew she was lying. However, what they didn't know was that finding him would be much harder than they imagined. John, US Marshals. We're here on your warrant. Come on out. Yes. Yes. Three. Three. Let's get him out of here. 30 30 Oh, it's glued. Never mind. She assumed she too. Mhm. She assumed she too. She too? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Oh, my god. It's not yet. All right. All right. Here we go. What the Man. >> [snorts] >> Try Yeah. Hold that for me if you would. Is it open? It's not open there. We're good. I don't even know if it's open. There's only this far here. >> in there. Okay, so let's get in here. Um let's just send the dog in in the crawl space. What in the world? >> That's freaking genius. John, if you're in there, we're going to send the dog in. John, if you're in there, we're going to send the dog in. Let's go. I was the only one. What's all this up here? I don't see any crawl space. Well, there's small one over here. Same way over here. It's got plywood, but it's anchored in with little bitty vents. Yeah, there's another attic access space right above that. But, Only access is right here. The attic access right there. It's like right on the other side of that, actually. Water heater. You're clear to go ahead. There is a board and going up in the attic, but not enough room for anybody to get in it, but there's a door right here leading to this room, but it stops right here. Let me check these cabinets. Like that. That's one Steve's after. Three phones here. The Marshalls turned the house upside down. Every room had been checked. Every corner cleared. Yet, John was nowhere to be found. But, just when it seemed the search would come up empty, they discovered that he'd been hiding in the most unsuspecting place all along. Where? But, I mean here. Look at me. Look at me. Subject Come OUT RIGHT NOW. LET GO of the blame. Come out. Let's go. COME OUT. LET'S GO. GET OUT. GET OUT. GET OUT. COME OUT. GET OUT. GIVE US YOUR HANDS. GIVE ME YOUR OTHER GIVE ME YOUR OTHER HAND. OKAY, hold Wait a minute now, hold on. Let's talk for a minute. Let's talk. Yes, yes, yes, yes. Those genius spots they got in the house, the hole in the floor. >> He had a trap hole in the ground and floor that led to the ground. The mirror. I would have never thought of that. That's genius. That's genius. I'm going to take some notes. Not that I need it, but you know, we don't know what's going on in this country today. I know, right? That's genius, man. Yeah. That's crazy. Other hand. Okay, hold on. Hold on. I don't see him fitting in with that belly sticking out. What's in your hand? Give me your hand. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. CALM DOWN. I don't have nothing. I don't have nothing. Step up. Got a about a 3-ft mirror in there, 3-ft by 3-ft right on the wall, and Jamie pulled it, and he got a damn industrial stainless steel handle he was hiding in the wall. He was trying to hold the damn mirror back shut. You go ahead and check it out. You want to go see? Just as I pulled that mirror, I could see his arm come out. You got in there? There was a mirror. Did you see it? I told him to go. And I'm looking at him like It's awful low. Yeah, it's awful low. Yeah, it's awful low. >> pulled it back some on my flashlight, and I could see his arm on the handle. Like what? You hold this over FTA over DUI. All this here? Like dude, you got like you're going to have multiple counts of SOR violations on top of boxes. According to reports, the search for 43-year-old John began after he failed to appear for a court trial in Kentucky in 2024. That failure led to a warrant for bail jumping, as well as another for violating sex offender registration laws. Meanwhile, in Tennessee, his parole was revoked after he was convicted of evading arrest and aggravated assault, triggering yet another warrant. Over the past few months, deputies repeatedly came to this house searching for him, but each time they asked, his 78-year-old mother insisted she didn't know where he was. But now that John has been found hiding inside the walls of his mother's house, it seems he may not be the only one about to get into trouble. Ma'am, this is your time to be honest with me. You know he's been here the whole time, right? >> wasn't here. You want to stand up? All right, come on, stand up. Let me check you. Now, who's going to take care of her? Well, you also didn't want to make yourself known that you were here, so I believe you watched him here. I get it, it's your son and you're trying to protect him, but you need to be honest with me. >> I lied. Yeah. Okay? Yeah. Yeah, what? He wasn't here, I guess. Come on, ma'am. He's got a whole room in there. I was sick. But that ain't got nothing to do with you. Sit down. Sit down. Hey, Ma. Hey, she don't know you're here, man. Yeah, she thinks you're in Florida. She didn't know you were here. >> Your mom didn't know you were here. John, your mom knew you were here. She didn't know I was Listen, there's no way in this small of a house that she didn't know you were here, okay? You know he's been here. Do you realize you can go to jail today? I said yeah. I didn't know he was in there last night, I swear. I know, I get that. All right, and then your mom I read her these things, which is concealing a person from arrest. Okay, thank you. And statements of false statements to a federal officer, okay? She lied to us that you were here. She said she hadn't seen you in months, but you were living here. Okay, there's no way that's possible. She apologized. I've literally been in and out out of here. Yeah, but she said she hasn't seen you in months, okay? So, she apologized, she acknowledged that that's what she did. That is That can be a federal felony. But what ain't right is letting this boy, this guy in here hide in the walls and you look me in eye and lie to me. That's what's not right. That's not right. No, I got the wild power down there and I'm not about to >> he was here, right? Yes or no? >> Yeah, when I came in uh He's been here the whole time. And not the whole time, he ain't. I don't want to charge your mom. She's like 80 years old. Right, I see that. Okay. I see that she loves you and that's why she lied for you. But you're getting her in trouble and they're having her up with possible felony charges. Okay? I'm not saying that she knows anything. >> You don't have to. She already said she knew. She said she was sorry. I took that, I accept her apology, right? But I'm telling you that you're putting her in a bad situation. So, did he sign your name to some of them open records request? Yes or no? Yes or no? Yes or no? I don't know. He done it or Crystal did. Well, somebody did. It wasn't you. I don't know. Okay, then you'll go to jail, too. Why am I going to go to jail? Because you're harboring a non-compliant sex offender, that's why. I ain't harboring nobody. Okay. This ain't my damn house. >> on lying, that's what you're going to do. So, you need to break down and be honest with me. I'm honest. She could be charged, too, but Did she tell Ben that he was in there? I guarantee you Ben told him to charge her anyway. Since she has no defense for harboring a sex offender. That's right. That's right. Now, if he just gets today Right, she is so hard. Are you ready to transport them? Yep. All right, we're going to come on up. No, ma'am, not once he's in custody. I'm sorry. Okay. We're going to get you medically checked anyway, so turn around, have a seat. Meds? Yeah, that's everything that he's that he's currently taking. Okay. The Swiss, I told you if you didn't be honest with me that you're going to have to go with me, okay? And that's what we're going to do today. You're going to go with me. >> god. Ma'am, you can't you can't son or not you can't hide people out the way y'all been hiding him out. So, you can't worry about everybody. You got to do what's right. And you can't just harbor somebody that's not a is compliant. You know what I mean? He's a sex offender. They keep a close thumb on them, you know? And you straight up lied to us I don't know how many times we come out here. You lied to us this morning. I didn't even lying to y'all. I was scared. >> Well, I asked you earlier you scared of him and you said no. >> No, I'm not scared of him. >> are you lying? John now faces multiple charges across two states with additional federal charges pending through the US Marshal Service. And although his mother was not arrested, she has been cited for harboring a non-compliant offender >> [music] >> and has a pending court date. YouTube thinks you'll love Yeah, I I I was just about to say that, man. Morally don't leave that woman alone. Like like moral reasons cuz she old. She's already shaking and got health issues. I'm like, come on, man. But law-wise I understand. Lawfully I get it. He was harboring him. I get that. Yeah. But I'm like this woman she already What she going to do? You know what I'm saying? Like and she probably was scared of him. You don't want to admit it. >> Yeah. Probably threatened her and said something. Absolutely. Well, what do you think? >> Yeah. Well, you know me. I always like Let's go to No, we we're here now. Yeah. Um I knew you was going to do that though. I was like, why he always just start from the end and go back? I like to start from the beginning then talk my way to it, but it's it's done. Why, man? This old lady why you ain't just told where your son was? No, not not told where he was, I mean. And who wants to give up their son? Um With the You think always human Or anything. Yeah. So, we Nobody wants to give up their child, no matter how old, no matter how criminal. You don't want to give up your child. You Just you don't want to see them go down the inevitable Um you know, but They don't been there multiple times looking He a bad seed, Miss Lady Grandma. Right. He should have already been in jail. Uh-huh. I don't know why they ain't picked this dude up three full years ago when he done did all the things that he had done then. Yeah. They don't even know that he After he got out. Right. And then And then you Y'all wait until he done did traps and everything in the house and then y'all try to have to come and look for him again >> Yeah. to arrest somebody you already know that was bad. He should have done the first Mhm. Um I don't think they're going to arrest her. That's probably why this case still pending. I bet when they do go to court, the judge is going to be like, "Y'all brought this old, rickety ass woman." I'll be honest now. She old. Like, she 80 something years old, but she's frail. Yeah. Like, y'all brought her up in here trying to And come on. Yeah. This is going to get thrown out of court more than likely. Yeah. Cuz why would you want her to be in jail? Right. >> She deserves to go to jail because she did break the law. >> Right. But she's not able and capable of being in nobody's jail. She's probably going to die behind bars if goes to jail. >> Yeah. And and and For the people that come in the comments and say "Whatever, she harbored a sex Oh, you can't say the word. Yeah. A S offender, she She to go to jail, too." There's some people there. They got to >> I don't I don't deny that. But, I'm saying >> But, I don't know that. I don't deny that, either. But, I'm talking about the human side. >> Yeah. What if it was your mom? You know what I'm saying? But, some people cold-hearted. They don't care. If my momma did it to me, she go to jail, too. Some people just cold-hearted. Yeah. We always think about We sit behind these keyboards and we say all we want to say all these bad things we want to say because we behind these keyboards. But, but if the reality hit you, how would you feel? You know what I'm saying? How would you feel to see your mom go to jail cuz she trying to protect you? Right. You know what I'm saying? So, that's the only part that that I don't I'm like She already old. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, she was wrong for it. Yes. So, for him, lock his ass up. Yeah. That's where Yeah. [clears throat] You know what I'm saying? Um And what you hiding out for? Like All you had to do all you You should You're a You're a sex offender. Own up to it the rest of your life. You can't help it. Go register. And go to court. >> Exactly. Cuz he did something else, too. I forgot what they said. >> Um yeah, he did something else. They don't want to register because they want to continue to do what they do. They don't want you to know where they are. >> Yeah. Uh-huh. That's why. Yeah. And then, also the laws make the um stuff so strict until you can't live near school. You can't live near certain businesses. Like like so Um usually, they have to stay in a certain type of area, rural area, and stuff like that. Um The um I'm not saying that the laws aren't just cuz they they do what they do. Yeah. But, I feel like it's not just enough for them to be registered. It's so obvious that he um was trying to evade the law for many different reasons. Why don't um sex offenders wear ankle monitors 24 hours a day. What you saying? Do y'all care more about fugitives or do you care more about like criminals who are just everyday petty crime? So not So you don't protect the kids cuz I would I would rather somebody like this be walking around with a monitor or some type of thing on and it beat so loudly when you take your ass near any Yeah. children or daycares or schools or whatever. >> be known. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it should That's I I own that. I said that too by something else, too. I said it about people that ease. Yeah. Yeah. That that we should be know it it shouldn't some beat, but we should know. I know what you're saying. I still feel like that's a little too personable because you get judged. Um you don't know how somebody got a disease. That's true. >> They could have got it through [clears throat] um somebody um essaying them or born with it. So that's too personable. >> Yeah, that's But um this right here, no, they need to have some I don't I don't give a damn. If if a dog can wear a shock collar, put it on his ass. Yeah. Yeah. >> Put it on all of their, you know, asses when when they do something like this. Keep track of >> because they need to know and they need to know the difference between those kind of people and somebody being friendly with your child. Right. >> Like stuff is so be weird perverted these days until you scared to even say something to a child. Somebody look at you like Yes. Like, what you talking about my daughter for? >> [laughter] >> I was just saying, "Hey, I like her bow." Or something like something simple. You be so scared like everybody so in defense mode about it now. You can't even talk to kids. I love kids and I don't talk to them anymore. Yeah. Have Yeah, have you ever sat down and just talked to kids? They're wonderful. Yeah. They're very smart. >> Smart. Yeah. >> be you be scared to talk to them because they'll look at you, "What you creepy ass doing there talking to my daughter?" >> [laughter] >> So I can't talk to her till she get 18? >> Right. I can't I can't hold a conversation or or the son I can't talk to them? Right. >> Because all these stuff I hear going on. You don't know who to trust. >> Yeah. That's crazy. Lock him up. That's all I got to say about that. Anything else? We got to go back to these um traps. I need I need to see them one more time. >> Which one of the traps you want to see? First of all, dude had the trap in the ground. I guess he say I can't bend down in it cuz why he wasn't up under there. I would have put it up under the bed, but they so smart, you know. That's one thing I can say. Wait, I was trying to stop at the race. Oh, yeah. Yeah. You You just had passed it. Yeah. Yeah. They They looked up in the ceiling first. Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah, that's it. You can't They looked up in the ceiling first and I guess they say I don't know how he could be up in that little square hole. >> Uh-huh. >> But Then they found a square hole in the ground and the I don't know I keep saying the ground, in the floor. >> Floor, yeah. But I think he probably tried to get up under there and say, "Dang, it's hot up under here. I ain't got nowhere to go, so this ain't going to work." Whoever owned that house, I'd be mad as hell. He done cut holes in the wall. Got walls and everything. Unless >> Unless they already did it. They set up before. No, that's that's man-made. He did that. That's not professional. He done got him a a saw. What are them things called? The little little um Piston saw thing. >> Piston saw and he done drilled that stuff out in the people house. But that was genius. >> That was. And that cop is like me. Yeah. I'm a thorough person. I'm going to find you. Yeah. But he said, "That mirror That mirror, why is like this?" >> Yeah. Something ain't right. And he felt them trying to hold it back. That was That was stupid and genius at the same time. >> was genius. I love the fact that you you cannot hide from a good police off They going to look. First of all, I would have a linear linear I don't know. I don't be feeling like I don't know the word. I don't know the words no more. >> way. >> [laughter] >> Mhm. And this is vertical? I don't know. I don't know. Anyway, the the other way. I would have done it >> [laughter] >> I know what you're saying. step in and not crawl in. Um maybe that's why he was alerted because it's just sitting at a weird angle in the middle. >> I would have done a mirror the long way. Then they would have I maybe the police would have said, "Oh, well, everybody has their mirrors the long way." >> Mhm. Only bathroom mirrors go like kind of like square like that. I know what you're saying, yeah. Unless it's fixed to a dresser or something like that. The most mirrors like that would go the long way. I know what you're saying. Yeah. But that was small. >> would have found him either way. >> they would have found him. I'm just saying they would have just looked made more sense Right. to have a mirror the long way on the wall. That was dumb and genius at the same time. Yeah, y'all come to the comments on this. I got to hear what y'all think about this right here, man. For the ones who haven't seen it. Yeah. Shout out to Police Activity for this video. Some of those uh The Police Activity not really a small channel. Not as big as EWU. But yeah. But those those channels be having some good stuff, man. I like I like stuff like this. I was going to do this by myself. Oh, I'm glad I did too. And I'm glad I did. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Thank y'all for being here. Thank y'all for the love and support in this channel. We really appreciate it. Y'all come to the comments. That's what I want to see. Till next time. Don't get caught slipping behind a mirror. Find a hole to hide so the cops won't get you. All you had to do is go to your court date cuz you scared to be a SA offender. And you did You did it put it on yourself. >> But damn, my baby don't get the whole lineup. Until next time. >> [laughter] >> Bye.
