What's good everybody? Welcome back to Body Cam Vibes. Back with another body cam video I'm going to react and discuss to. Shout out to Watch Cop Cam for this video. Uh some people been saying that uh our volume still sounds low when we talk. I don't know how to fix it more uh without if I turn the mic up, it'll be a lot of distortion. It be like zoo zoo zoo sometime. Sometimes in the videos you hear that. Forgive me about that one. So, if y'all can find a better solution uh with my mics, let me know. But uh we just going to jump into this video and see what it's all about. Let's get into it. While conducting a retail theft surveillance, officers observe two individuals enter a shopping mall carrying bags believed to be part of an organized shoplifting scheme. >> What's up, bro? >> How many people own this car? Are you the only person that owns this car? >> It's my mom's car. >> Oh [ __ ] Okay. You got your license insurance with you, man? You got your license? >> My license. >> You got a picture of it or something? >> No, my whole wallet was stolen. >> Police report. >> You got a debit card or something with your name on it? >> My whole wallet. >> You got anything? >> My whole wallet. >> Is it your car? >> No, it's his car. >> Why are we on this stop right now, bro? Be 100% honest with me. I'll be 100% honest with you. >> I have no idea. >> No idea? >> No. >> Okay. Were you guys not all putting merchandise in the back seat and hiding it as we were stopping you? Did that happen or I'm seeing stuff? >> I got two work. Well, this is my mom's car. >> Where you coming from, bro? >> I just dropped them off at the mall. >> You dropped them off at the mall? >> Okay. What were they doing on the mall? >> I have no idea. Why would we just parked in the parking lot? >> Okay. >> Come on out here. >> You know what? >> Come on by me. >> I think >> you said >> here. Come on over. Oh, you got a warrant or No, I accidentally >> Here's the deal. >> Um, we saw you guys go in with all the bags. >> Uhhuh. >> Okay. Did you steal some merchandise in there? >> No. You're supposed to go with all the bags. I only have my bag and you didn't have a bag. >> Yeah. And then we're pulling you over and you're you're moving the stuff from your bag. >> No, I was looking for my cigarette. >> Okay. >> I I only got a shirt. That's >> So when you went in the mall, did you buy anything? No, actually I was going to it's a it's a secret for um uh what do they call it when you do um >> when you put stuff on um when you like get married or something and they got the >> the registry? >> Yes. I was going to see if they had a certain thing that my girlfriend wanted. >> Okay. So you guys didn't buy anything? >> No. >> Okay. So there's no merchandise in the car? >> Oh, sorry. >> Okay. So there's no reason that there'd be merchandise in the car. >> I mean besides >> you you you can be honest with me. >> We work in Orland Park. We deal with retail crime all the time. >> You You go to Chicago, you get shootings, armed robberies, everything. You come to Orland Park. Yeah. >> This is our job. >> And that's Yeah, we totally what you guys do. >> So, so we see you guys. Listen, hear me out. Hear me out. I'm I'm going to be completely honest with you. I want you to be completely honest. We're going to start over. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> So, let me No, let me tell you. >> So, we watch you guys get out of the car. >> He's got a bag. The dude in the jersey. You got your purse. You got more bags in your purse. He gives you his bag to put in your purse. You guys, you guys come out of the mall. >> I swear to you, his bag stay in the car. I did He did not give me no bag. I do have my bag, which my coat was in at first. >> Um, >> but this is a little bit more deeper than that. Be totally honest. >> Okay. What do you mean? >> Like this isn't just cuz we walked in the store for with a bag. You know what I mean? >> No, that's that that brings our attention to people. When you go into a shopping store where they give you bags when you buy stuff, when you go in with your own bags, >> that's one thing that we look for. Okay. Right. The thing that gets me, you know, I do my little midway pause when the cop still saying, "Hey, just be honest with me, work with me, and he probably would just be a little lenient on you." And they still just sit there and lie. I just don't understand it, man. It's crazy. >> So, we stopped you for expired plates and then when we're pulling you over, we see clothes getting taken from a bag and put in the back seat. And then we're saying, "Oh, there's merchandise that was stolen." >> Oh, that's my coat. I swear to you, listen, >> honest to God, I was looking for my cigarettes and I was moving my coat. All right. I did not sell anything. I went to the uh Lulu lemon place. Okay. Because Okay. So, I have a cousin that works. All right. >> Yeah. >> And I don't want to get on fire. So, anyway, >> give you a little discount or something. >> Yeah. But I don't pay her at the store. I pay her. >> Okay. >> You know, and then I was to go in. >> So, is that what you did today? >> No, I didn't get a chance to do that. She was supposed to uh take care of the little things for me and then her manager is there. Okay. >> So, she say, but no, I totally didn't. I don't I don't do that. >> But we do have it's like, you know, little stuff like that. >> But no, I don't go in, you know, I probably would have been running when I came out. I'm too >> How much stone shit's on your car, bro? >> They said they was going to make an exchange and get a gift card. >> That's all I've done. Okay, >> that's it. >> I wouldn't have never done this stuff because, man, like I said, it's not even my car. >> I got you. But so how old are you? >> Huh? >> How old are you? Right now >> I'm 36. >> 36. Okay. No, you're not. >> Huh? >> You're not 36. >> Oh, you gave me the wrong birthday. >> No, no, no. I Listen, I'm almost 50 years old. Don't you don't ask the lady here. >> Okay. So, how old are you right now? >> Yeah. Go ahead. >> I'm almost 50. >> All right. How old? >> You won't judge me. How old do I look? >> Just tell me how old you are. >> I'm almost 48 years old. December, I'll be 48. >> How much stolen shit's on the car? Okay, listen. >> Javon, hear me out. Take take a seat. Take a seat. >> I'll be standing when I'm talking to somebody, but I won't do nothing. Okay, officer living. I have a connection at the Lulu Lemon, the uh one in Chicago, and she got me the stuff, but she didn't have her her to her what are those things? Um, >> hold on. Take a seat. Give me one second. >> See, that's that's only one bag. >> There we go. >> I watched you go out to the mall, right? You had a bunch of empty bags. You put it in a big bag. >> That's right. I just want to tell you guys. >> I don't think that's going to be the same. >> Are you Are you stealing to survive? Let me ask you that. Are you stealing to survive? To put food on your kids table. Is that why you're stealing? >> Okay. >> I'm a person. Yes. Okay. I understand. >> Honestly, >> tough times. >> Actually, I got that from somebody who did steal. Okay. >> It is. >> It is. They left the money and it didn't work out. That was what was in here. They want to take it off. >> No, just so they can take the sensors off. Did they do that for you? >> No, the manager was there. >> Did you ask them? >> No, the manager was there. I was on the phone with >> Go ahead and stand up. >> Huh? >> Are we going to start telling the truth now? Have I been nice to you? >> Right now, I'm going to jail right now. >> I'm going to jail now. So, it don't matter. >> Could you tell me what Lululemon story that came from so we could give it back to them? >> What location? >> That was the one in the city. >> City. I was really coming here to >> to return them. >> Yeah. Not to return it, but to get the things off. Okay. You >> What's What's the driver's What's the driver's involvement? >> What What's the driver's involvement? >> No, he just drove. He didn't even know what I was doing. I swear he did. >> He didn't know nothing was going on. >> You didn't agree to pay him money? >> Hell, he didn't know what was going on. I promise. He wouldn't have took in >> Okay, I already talked to him. What is his involvement? He didn't go in the store. He stayed on the phone. >> He didn't know. Then I was telling He wouldn't have took me. He's a freaking working boy. He's a straight up. >> So why you bringing him in? cuz I didn't think that this would happen. >> I didn't think that. >> And then when you guys parked on the side and then came right out, I said, "Oh, yeah." But it wasn't just because I went no mall >> with no bag. >> Are you wearing anything that's stolen? >> No. Hell no. >> Anything in your clothes? Any drugs in like that? >> Nothing else. But this isn't because I just went to the mall. Y'all been watching me. >> No, we were we were parked. >> Huh? >> How long you think we've been following for? for a long time. >> No. >> How long? >> I don't know. >> You guys pulled up about 10 feet from us. We were already parked at the mall. We see two people get out with all the bags. With all the bags, he didn't have a bag. >> How you doing? >> Hi. How are you? >> Uh we just stopped the car and they had maybe $1,000 worth of merchandise. >> Was the woman wearing a denim jacket? >> Yes. >> Okay. Yeah, I know. Yeah, she's coming here a couple times. >> She has. Okay. >> She take stuff today. >> Um we saw her in the room and I found tags after she left. So, yeah, she did definitely. And they spit out. It was a man and a woman. >> Yeah. What was the man wearing? >> Um I know he had a hat on and he had >> Patriots jersey and he had a cigar in his mouth. >> Yep. Okay. Um >> yeah, she had stuff too. >> He kept bringing her stuff to the room like size zero size two and not >> she was not trying on a size zero size two. Um >> you know >> so we could get you your guys merchandise back and we could could you do a duplicate receipt for us? She came she came in here last week and she was like saying that she's like a recovering addict and she's trying hard not to steal and that she wanted to like and stuff. So, >> we didn't we brought that all up. We called our report line and everything. Um, >> but did you make a report with Orland yet or No, >> no, I I don't know what they do on the back end. All I do is I submit the reports of stuff I find and they do >> Yeah. >> all that stuff on the back end. I don't really hear much about it. But I know she was in a video for a while. >> But yeah, this is going to be a decent. >> Yeah, >> there's some stuff too she took that is not here too. >> Blue lemon's expensive. My wife will tell you. >> You guys get a discount though. >> Yeah. >> Do we? >> Yeah. 50%. >> That's criminal. I didn't know that. >> Uh, awesome. All right. Can you print out a people get receipt? Officers recovered over $1,000 in stolen merchandise, returning every dollar back to Lululemon. >> Little petty stuff bothers me. I I notice the the most pettiest things that I should not notice. And so y'all got to forgive me if I if I say something. He like, "Man, that's petty. Why you think about that?" The whole time I was thinking, "Oh, let me say this first. Sorry y'all can't really see me. It's early in the morning. I don't feel like cutting the light on, but I'm here. I know y'all hear me. But petty stuff bothers me. I'm going to borrow my mom's car to go shop. Grown ass people going to using their mom's car for some criminal acts. Why that bother me? I don't know, man. It's just crazy. I don't know. I I'm I'm petty sometimes. But let me tell you something. when she was talking. I I've been raised in the hood when I was younger. I knew the way she was talking that fast, but yeah. And I said, "Yeah, she's on drugs." And and at the end, they said she's she's recovering addict. And they will still withdraws off of you, but they on drugs. I'm trying to tell you, man, that that that's been a known thing growing up, man. If you got a drug addict in your drug addict in your house, you got to get rid of them because they'll sell your DVD players, your VCRs. They'll go in there and sell your food. They'll sell your turkeys and hams and baloney to get what they need. And because in my mind, I'm like, I still say this all the time. How in the world we live in a generation where cameras are everywhere and people are still shoplifting. What do you think you're going to get away with? I still don't understand it. So I knew she I said, "Yeah, you know, I I give her a 5% benefit. She she still on drugs. She say she recovering. She on some she talking too fast. She got she got that she got that crackish drug look." I could just tell me and I knew it. And she sitting there lying about her age and all that. I said, "Yeah, she she know she and it's sad to me because it's sad to me because a grown woman out here stealing and also being on drugs and trying to get off and I know it's hard. So, no judgmental, no judgment, but I know it's hard, but it still just made me kind of sad. That's why I hate I hate drugs, man. And I hate alcohol. I'm'll be honest with you. Y'all do what y'all do, but I I I just I don't like anything that takes your mind and makes it uh change it and make it be erratic and just do all kind of crazy stuff. But I already knew and I knew dude was lying. He know what they was doing. Know they was going there to steal. I just really hope that she really gets help. And I like how the cop was human for a minute. He said, "You doing this to survive." I love when a cop can be human and they don't think blue all the damn time. I love that. Even if he's faking sometimes they they fake it just to hold the conversation to get what they need out of you. But I just I like to see to see the human side. I just feel like we too grown to be out here. Stealing out of stores. It It's too many ways to make money, man. You don't you going to be stealing out the stores and stuff for, man? I just really hope in in hindsight that she really gets help. Stop spilling all that what they call it Lulu Lemon, whatever they call it. I ain't never heard of that before. Well, I'm that must somewhere else. I said Lulu. I came on reading. I said Lulu Mill, man. And and and please stay out of Walmart and Target. To the shoplifters, future shoplifterss that are watching this video, please stay out of Walmart and Target. They got cameras all up in between everywhere. So stay out of there. Stay out them stores, man. And get you a hustle. Get you a hustle on out here. Get you Listen, jobs don't pay enough. I know. Get you a job and two side hustle and you you can make it a little bit out here. I know it's rough. Stay out these people's stores, man. Cuz they they go they gonna change the laws one day. They gonna make them them little petty crimes be felonies. I can see it coming in the future. Y'all let me know what y'all think about this one in the uh in the comments. Y'all, do y'all think I'm petty for thinking about that? I still think about like, man, why you go you go steal your you go ask your mom, can I can I borrow the car to go steal? I'm petty, y'all. Don't worry about it. Thank y'all for being here. Thank y'all for the love support on this channel. Uh we really appreciate it. Thank y'all for building us up and and making us happy, for doing the things that we love to do. Until next time, don't get caught slipping. Okay.
