Now, let's begin the video. >> Hello. >> Hey, how you doing, sir? I'm officer Genies. I'm with Moth Beach Police. Just cameras on recording this. Stop. Can I have your license insurance, please? >> Sure. >> Great. Are you okay? >> I'm good. >> You're okay? >> Just give me a second. >> Okay, no problem. Where you headed to now? >> Where's your mom's at? >> Brick. Okay. Where are you coming from? >> Coming from uh Highlands. >> Highlands. Oh, where are we doing? Highlands. Anything fun? Okay. >> Oh, okay. What are we doing in Highlands? Where we at? >> I was uh at my friend's place. >> Friend's house. >> Yes. >> Cool. How much you had to drink tonight? >> Um I had nothing. >> Nothing. >> Sorry, I'm just nervous. >> Okay, no problem. You got your license on you? I did. So, I'm just trying to do this as I'm getting my insurance. >> It's okay. >> Sorry. >> Your insurance is on your phone? >> Yes, it is. Okay. Sorry. Thank you. Here. While you're looking for the registration insurance, I'm going to go check your license. How's your license? Any points or suspensions? No. All right. I'll be right back with you. All right. Just, you know, the reason I'm stopping you is you were swerving back in Ocean Avenue in Mouth Beach. You crossed over the yellow should I'm sorry, the yellow center line twice while I was behind you and the white shoreline once. I'm sorry. >> Okay. I was trying to look for the direction. >> Oh, gotcha. Okay, no worries. I just keep looking for the insurance reg. >> If you want to support the channel, feel free to use the Amazon affiliate links in the description for your next purchase. It helps me keep this channel running at no extra cost to you. >> Registration for me. All right. Uh, did you check the registration wave in your glove box? That's what it typically is. >> I know. All right. >> Okay. >> All right. No worries. Here, while you're looking for that, I'm going to check your license. I'll be right back with you. All right. Oh, >> you're good. >> Definitely going to be a 41. >> Oh, really? >> Oh, yeah. >> What's going on? >> Drunk. >> Like, how's that? >> I think he's hammered. >> What happened? >> Slurred speech. He was swerving. Swerving his lane. >> Would you stop him for that? You were behind him or speed. >> No, stop him for the swerving. I saw him coming at me swerving. And he crossed over the the white shoreline once when he was approaching. And then uh after I did a U-turn, he crossed over the yellow line twice. Once before beach and once after beach. And then he kept like like jerking around in his lane like this. >> What happened? He didn't stop either. >> He didn't stop. I put on my lights and as soon as I put on my lights, he is like rolling rolling like halfway in the shoulder, halfway in the right lane. Just rolling rolling rolling rolling. I'm like, >> are we going to stop? And finally he I thought he was going to stop right in the lane over here. Didn't stop in the lane and then >> proceed to just make the right turn. Stopped in the middle of the driveway over here. >> Where's he from? >> Brick. >> Oh my god. Where? >> It says he's got a second address here and see right? But uh 321 19th Avenue >> 33207. K, can you check my driver all the way for me, please? It's going to be my RORO, Chad Morales at a brick. Also, we're going to have him out for testing. >> Check out. >> Yeah, I could I could tell at least if he's if he's not drunk, he's on something. But I can smell booze coming out of carpet. Yeah, I smell it, too. Did you bring your jacket by chance? >> I did not. No. I mean, >> I was going to bring mine, too. >> I mean, listen, if you want to go grab yours, I really don't care. I'll be I'll be fine. That's all right. Okay. It's great. Printed single pages in here. I guess some single pages. Get the front page. Yeah, he was like taking forever to get his documents to very very slow and slurred speech. Okay, now that's ready. >> How we doing on the registration insurance? >> How are you? So >> I'm good. Got registration. Perfect. That's good. You got your insurance card? >> Insurance. >> Great. Okay. Listen, man. So, um I know you said you had enough to drink, but I can smell alcohol coming out of the car. So, I just want to make sure you're good to drive. Mind stepping out doing a few tests real quick. >> Cool. As long as you're good to go, I'll get you. I hear the warning. All right. No problem. Let's watch step now. Yeah, you can turn off if you want. Okay, so we're just going to go to the sidewalk over here. >> All right. You got any issues with your eyes? >> I have contacts. >> You got the contacts. Soft or hard? >> Uh, dailies. I don't know. >> Dies. They're probably soft. Are they They're What's up? >> I don't know if they're soft or hard. >> Okay. Yeah, they're probably soft. So, are you comfortable with them, man? I feel comfortable. >> Okay. All right. So, this first test is going to be test your eyes. You have any other eye issues besides wearing contacts? >> No. >> No. All right. So, what I want you to do is put your feet together just like this >> and keep your hands down by your sides. I want you to stay in that position while I demonstrate and explain this test to you. Okay. You understand? >> Y. >> Okay. So, you see that red dot right there on the end of that pen? >> Wait, which one? >> Just the big one. The big fat one. >> Can you see it? Okay. So, what I want you to do is follow that with just your eyes and your eyes only. I don't want you to move your head. Okay? It's going to go left and right of your of your face. Just follow just your eyes and eyes only. Don't move your head. All right? You understand? 27. Okay. It's going to go up this time. Okay. All right. What I want you to do is you're going to continue to follow this light with just your eyes and eyes only. It's going to do this. It's going to come around your face a couple times just like this. It's going to come to the bridge of your nose. Going to stop there for a second. It's going to come right back out. I'm going to do a second time just like this. Continue to follow it with just your eyes and your eyes only. Okay. You understand? >> Okay. Hang tight. Yeah, you relax a second. Okay. You have any physical injuries or disabilities that you've correct for doing a walking test? >> No. >> No. All right. So, for this next test called the walk and turn test, what I want you to do, I'm going to start putting a star position. For this test, you're going to imagine a line. Actually, you know what? We're going to face that way. It's a little flatter. I don't like how it goes down into the road there. >> You know what? We'll go right here. You can go right next to my patrol car. Right here. Right there. >> And you're going to face your car. All right. So, I'm going to start by putting in the start position for this test. The start position is imagine a line in front of you. Put your left foot on the line just like this. You can do that now. Put your left foot on the line just like this. >> Yep. Put your right foot touching heel toe with your left just like this. >> Sure. >> Just cuz my my shoes are bigger than my feet. >> That's all right. >> All right. So, imagine lying on the ground in front of you. Put your left foot on that line just like this. Put your right foot touching heel to toe with your left just like this. Keep your hands down by your sides. I want you to stay there the entire time while I demonstrate and explain to you. Okay. >> Do you understand? >> All right. So, when I tell you to begin, you're going to take a series of nine stand. >> Yeah. Stand there just like that. >> So, when I tell you to begin, you're going to take a series of nine heel to toe steps down that imaginary line in front of you. Once you reach your ninth step, keep that lead foot planted. And then I want you to take a series of small steps to turn around. Okay? You're going to take nine more heel toe steps back down the same line. Right? The entire time you're going to keep your hands down by your sides. You're going to look down at your feet while you're counting out loud. And don't stop the test until you fully complete the test. Okay? I'm going to demonstrate it for you now. I'm going to do three. You'll do nine. All right? >> You will do nine. I'm going to do three for you. All right? Just stay in that start position for me. Right? Just like I am. Just put put your feet heel to toe. All right, it's going to look like this. One, two, three. Keep your lead foot planted. Turn yourself around. One, two, three. The only difference is you will go all the way till nine in each direction. I did three for demonstration purposes. That's all right. Just try to stay in that start position for me. Right. So again, take nine heel toe steps down that line. Keep your hands down by your sides the entire time. Look down at your feet while you're counting your steps out loud. Don't stop the test until you fully complete the test. And then make sure you keep the lead foot planted while you're turning yourself around. >> Nine. Turn nine. Got any questions? >> All right, you can begin. Keep your lead foot planted and turn around. >> Keep your lead foot planted and turn around. Yep. Just like that. There you go. Nine more back. >> All right, you can relax. Are you hurt after that test? >> All right, you can relax for a second. Okay. Next test I have for you is called the one leg stand test. We're going to jump back up here now. All right. >> So, I want you to stand on this block right here. >> Sure. By the way, if you're interested in the dash cam camera shown in this video, I've dropped a direct affiliate link to it in the description below so you can check out the current price. All right, so the start position for this next test is your feet together just like mine are >> and your hands down by your sides. I want you to stay in that position while I demonstrate and explain this entire test to you. Do you understand? Okay. So, when I tell you to start, you're going to raise one of your feet approximately six inches off the ground. While you have that foot lifted off the ground, you're going to keep it level and parallel to the ground. Just like that. Not like this. Not like this. Like that. Okay. So, while you have that foot leveled to the ground and lifted off the ground, you're going to look down at your foot and count out loud 100,00 all the way until I tell you to stop. Understand? Sure. >> All right. I'm going to demonstrate it for you now. Right. It's going to look like this. And keep your hands down by your sides. I'm going to use my right foot. You can use left or right, whatever you prefer. Okay. It's going to look like this. 100,00 1,002 100,00. And you're going to continue to count until I tell you to stop. Notice my legs are straight and not bent. My knees are straight and not bent. I don't want you to do this. Keep your foot level and parallel to the ground. Just like that. Now, if you happen to put your foot down while you're counting, I want you to pick your foot right back up and count from you left off. That's going to look like this. 1001 100,004. You're going to continue to count until I tell you stop. Do you have any questions? >> Do you understand? >> Yep. >> Okay, great. Give me one second. You can begin. 468 10 11 12 14 >> You can stop. Just relax there for a second. All right, last test I got for you is called the modified Romberg balance test. Um, the start position is your feet together just like this and your hands down by your sides. I want you to stay in that position while I demonstrate and explain the test to you. Understand? >> Okay. So, when I tell you to start, you're going to tilt your head back. You're going to close your eyes. And once you believe 30 seconds has gone by, you're going to bring your head back down, open your eyes, and say the word stop. That's the whole test. I'm going to demonstrate a short version for you. Now, I want you to go all the way till you believe 30 seconds has gone by. Okay? >> This is the demonstration. I'll say start. Stop. That's the whole test. Do you have any questions? >> Do you understand? >> All righty. You can be him. Little bit. Are you done? >> Yeah. >> Yes. >> Okay. Just, you know, you're supposed to say stop when you're done. >> T21 back in 1492. >> How did you count? One, two, three. >> Just like that. That's how you counted. >> Five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. >> That's how you counted. >> I think I counted a little faster. >> A little faster. Okay. >> Yeah, I think I count a little faster. >> And that was 30 seconds, right? >> Yeah, but I guess it wasn't because I think a little faster. >> So, how fast? How how many seconds do you think that was? >> Probably around 20 21. >> Okay. >> All right, sir. Just place your hands on your back. You've been placed under arrest of DWI. All right. 34 27 41 450 27 450 >> guy think it's going to hurt me poopy stick me or stab me on your person? >> No. What is this? This car key. This the key for your Jeep. >> Yeah. >> Okay. You need anything out of the car? Your phone, wallet, keys, or anything? >> Yeah. >> Your phone. You said >> okay. >> Why you Why you scrunching yourself up here? >> That's all right. Just want to make sure you weren't trying to hide anything. Okay, we're going to go back to this car over here. All right. Do you need to show my phone? >> Nope. I'll get you your phone and your wallet. Right. Okay. Just watch your stuff getting in there. >> Okay. I'm just going to seat belt you in here. Okay. Just hang tight there for a few minutes. All right. 34. Thank you. That is closed. Clear. Close it out. Report acquired. Myself. This is your phone and your wallet, right, sir? >> Yes, sir. >> Just want to double check. Thanks. Left the key in the center console. >> Thank you. You want to sit on it? >> Do I have another? >> I guess not. Thanks Amy. >> 33 27 turning star mileage 2. Just give me one second. I'll take that seat belt off. No problem. >> All right. Just watch your step when you get out. >> Sure. >> Okay. Just give me a second. Open the door real quick. All right. You're going to step in. Go to your left. There's going to be a little bench there. Just uh stand right next to that bench for a second. Right. 33 27 count. Time stamp. 20 minute observation start. >> Observation. >> All right. I'm take the handcuffs off. Right. You're not going to fight me, right? >> All right. Cool. I always ask before I take them off cuz you never know. What's up? Okay, you take a seat there. All right, sir. You have your license by chance? >> Yeah. Awesome. >> Cool, man. >> Thank you very much. Appreciate it. So, pretty much this form is just uh transferring liability from the police department to you. >> Okay. >> Um I don't have to read it to you verbatim. >> Okay. >> Um I can give you a copy of it. Basically, it's saying that um your friend is arrested for DWI. Um this paragraph is saying that if you take custody of him and then you allow him to go out and drive a car and let's say he gets into a crash >> and causes injury or damage or or kill somebody, whatever, the liability is not on the police torment, it's on you. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, basically, until he's sober enough, you're going to make sure he's not going to get behind the wheel and drive your car. That's basically the same. >> Cool. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> You you understand it? >> Yeah, I got you. >> Awesome. And do you want to copy this form? >> Yeah, please. >> No problem. All right. If you understand what I read to you, if you could just sign in that blue X right there. >> Yep, sir. Right here. This one? >> Yep. Here's your license back, by the way. >> And then I'll bring him out to you in a second. >> Did I sign anything else or? >> Nope. That's it, man. I just I just >> I just got to I just got to give you a copy of this form before you leave. >> All right. Just give me two seconds. I make a copy for him, too. Here's your copy, sir. >> No problem. >> Okay, sir. You're all good. Guess >> a >> want to guess? >> I don't know what it is, man. Alligator kangaroo. Nice. So, here's your cop. I told you I'd give you a copy of this form once it was done. So, I gave your buddy a copy, too, because that's the form he signed. So, don't forget all your paperwork. Remember you to come here tomorrow around like 2:10. We'll give you an impound release paperwork and get your car. Right. >> Thank you. >> You have any questions for me? >> No, I think that's it. >> Awesome. You can take a cup of coffee if you want it. Right. >> Thank you so much, man. >> No problem, man. I'll walk you out. You're just going to your left. You want this, too? >> No, I'm good. >> Okay. >> Thank you so much. >> No problem. To your left over here and out the door that says exit. >> All right, man. Best of luck. All right. >> Take care, guys. A lot of you guys have been asking about the gear I use to make these videos. I've listed my entire setup in the description box below. Just a heads up, these are affiliate links.
