So, basically, somebody gets their life threatened, then nothing can be done about it. Saying, "Oh, he's threatening to kill me." I'm like, I wouldn't threaten to kill you over a parking spot. All right. What's going on? So, I came out to smoke a cigarette Okay. while she was in the shower. I literally standing right about here. Gentleman came through the gate. About here, I realized she was trying to pull in the parking spot. Okay. So, I started moving. Got told to get the [ __ ] out of the way. I turned around and started questioning what he was being respectful about and telling me to get out of the way cuz I was already moving. He proceeded to threaten to kill me if I didn't get out of his way. What did he say, exactly? "I will kill you if you don't move." Okay. Then he proceeded to tell me, as soon as I questioned that, that he was a Marine or ex-Marine. And that that's the reason why he was taking the handicap spot because he took four bullets in the leg and this was easier for him to get out of. Okay. So, I was basically threatened to be killed to be easier access over five of the spots because I was smoking a cigarette being respectful to the Washington state law of 25 ft away. Okay. And that was it. Okay. And then I wasn't stand-offish. I wasn't confront him at all. Did he get out of his truck at all? Not until he actually parked and the female security guard came over and I asked her if she was actually security and she verified she was. And I said that he just threatened to kill me and that I would like police actually called. And that was So, did he left, obviously not parking there, went inside? spot, moved his vehicle over into that area because I knew where he parked. And then, did you see You saw him get out then? He got out and walked through the bushes and walked through the front door. Uh about 6 4-ish, 6 5-ish grayish hair medium build I mean And it was Was he the only one in the truck? Yes. And it was just you out here at the time. Where did the female security officer come from? She actually came through the actual lane of travel Okay. behind him. And that's when I asked her because I saw the dark when he was still over here. And then right after he threatened to kill me, I saw her with the dark uniform figuring she was walking through the parking lot that that would be security. So, that's when I asked if she was actually security for the parking lot. Okay. She verified she was and that's when I notified her of the threat. Okay. Did he produce any sort of weapons or anything that you saw? Not that I could see. Okay. And you feel that his statement that he made of threatening to kill you, do you Do you feel that that's a valid statement, something that I have no idea what he has in his vehicle. Okay. I don't know what I have I don't know what I have. Simple. Are you fearful that he would kill you? Being a ex-Marine? Yeah. Okay. Well, I will say that at least, I mean you probably will never see this guy again. You got that going for you. But, obviously, I'll I'll document it. We'll see what we can. I know we got the plate, but it sounds like they weren't able to even figure out where he his room is or where he's supposed to be, but we'll we'll do what we can. of us caught like caught and remembered what room he actually He rattled everything and his life story, too. 25 West 4, please. But, the thing is is for him to be ex-military and threaten somebody's life, not okay with me with my friends actually being served and I respect everything. Well, I will get it all documented. It'll be under that case number. Um Obviously, you're leaving tomorrow, so hopefully you don't see him for the rest of the night. If for whatever reason you come out here to smoke another cigarette, We've come out probably four or five times this year. It is. And we've stayed in their locations just because the fact that this is something she uses. We do like this location, but for something like that to happen, that's the reason why I care. Seems like he's He's probably not from here, either, I'm assuming. His plate's from Texas and yeah. So, who And he's staying at a hotel just like you guys, so probably not from here, either, so my assumption was if you come back, like I said, you probably won't ever see him again in your life, but if you do, if for whatever reason tonight you come out to smoke another cigarette, you see him in the morning or something, feel free to call us back and Okay. So, and my question of this is I'm being warned or being told that I may not see him again. If I see him, say something. What's Something, what do you mean? To him or to us? To you guys or them? What's going to happen about the threat of life? So, like I said, I'll I'll do We don't I don't know who this guy is, so So, I'll I'll document it. We'll go They ran the plate, but obviously it's from Texas, so we don't have a lot of plate. Oh, how do you know it's from Texas? if we have Because he told me his whole life story. So, if we have a name from the plate run, we can also check and see what room he's in. So, then in the future we can know when he checks out, etc. Yeah, so like I said, we if you can find what room he's in, you can actually take precedent against what he's done. Well, I I can continue to investigate by asking him. Obviously, it's your your statement, not saying what you're saying is false. However, I have to kind of have a little bit of proof and and like a a witness that heard it. Uh uh She didn't hear the threat. She was out here, though. She heard that he was being boastful and I was being completely silent. Okay, but like I said, it I I just said, "Ma'am, I love cats." And I wouldn't know I I always tell people cuz it kind of goes reverse ways, right? Like if if he were to say, "Hey, no, that guy threatened me." I don't think you'd want me to just come here and and charge you and arrest you just based off of his statement, right? So, we we kind of have to have both both sides go put together and then, obviously, barring him admitting, "Yeah, I I told him I was going to kill him." Okay, then I have I have that or something sort of like she was security of the store, too. What do you mean? I asked her as she was walking through the lane of travel if she was security. She said yes and that's when he denied the threat. Yeah, so As soon as there was a witness of security, Like I'm saying, I I have to have proof that he said the threat, not not just a single person's statement. If that makes sense. Since there was no witnesses, that's There's no like video recording, no witness that no one else that heard it. Like I said, I'm not I'm not saying that you're lying to me. I'm just saying the by the letter of the law, I have to develop what we call probable cause and have to gather circumstance evidence, things like that, not not just a statement of not county jail to be so full because they're Yeah, and it it would just go back to then I could arrest anyone for someone telling me that this person said something to me. Yeah. So, It's just a he said, she said. But, like I said, we'll we'll document it. We'll try and figure out who he is. anything, but Well, obviously, he's not willing to talk cuz he moved his vehicle and went right inside. I asked her even where he was going because the fact that you guys were being called. Yeah, but like I said, that that's kind of where we're at for now, so So, basically, somebody gets their life threatened, then nothing can be done about it. Well, I can't like I said I say that I I have to have evidence and proof. I I can't just They're not giving up. They're not walking away saying there's nothing. They're going to look into it. They just they can't There's nothing they can do right now. But, at the present time, they're not going to go find him and arrest him. He said he said at this point. Yeah. But, it's documented if whatever comes up again or something else happens, they have documentation that he's done it before. Which is the good thing. The documentation trail that he's done it before. All righty, though, if you don't have any other questions, we're going to Appreciate it. All right. Hello, neighbor. Steven, how you doing? Pretty good. How you doing? Good. Sorry to wake you up. No, it's all good. I was just laying down. Uh reason why we're here is another guest called in about some sort of altercation between you guys. Oh, the handicap spot. Yeah. He was just alleging that you made some threats to him, so I'm just here to get your side of the story. Oh, what happened was as I was pulling up, I stopped because the guy was out there smoking. He was standing in the handicap spot. I was trying to park Okay. so that I could help my daughter get in to the hotel and get all everything moved up. Yeah. All I said was, "Can you move Mhm. and get up on the sidewalk so I can park?" Yeah. He's like, "No, I have a right to smoke here." Dude, just get off the spot and move up cuz I don't want my car to hit you. Okay. And that's when he started just exploding at me. Saying, "Oh, he's threatening to kill me." I'm like, I wouldn't threaten to kill you over a parking spot. And that's then he just kept antagonizing. I know I did yell at him one point. The security said that, but after that, it was all about him yelling at me and doing threatening manners. Did he make any specific threats to you or just No, he just he just was just angry and I don't know what it was about. Fair enough. Like I said, I'm just here to get your side of the story. He gave me his, so I'm getting yours and and it'll all be documented in report and Even the the people that were down there, I think the two security people that were down there, they were even saying, "Well, I'm not being threatening. I was just talking." Yeah. And he was just being loudmouth, just accusative the whole time. I'm just like, "All I want to do was park. That's all I wanted to do." All right. No, no one's no one's in trouble. I just wanted to Can you get your side cuz he gave me his, so Totally understandable. My brother is actually a detective in Henderson, Nevada, so I know how the police work. Got you. Yeah, I wouldn't be stupid, ask dumb. All right, Steve. Cool. I appreciate it. Hey, thanks, guys. You take care of yourselves. Appreciate it.
