ken [Applause] so what's going on today i got struck by a patient you did okay can you tell me what happened for drugs he came in for drugs he wasn't happy with what was going on he became very violent they called our code for us to come okay we came out he exited violently i mean just first out and this is this door we're talking about this door forgot this one so the pharmacy knows what all went on with his what he did in there okay um and uh he then wanted we told him he needed to leave for the day we were both moving him away and then he said he needed to go back in for the drugs and said no you later you can't he then went for the door shoved me towards the door i was able to get the door to keep it shut because he didn't want him back in and as that happened he struck chris okay and i saw that he made threats of violence before threats of violence from this guy is not common okay what's his name he's about about six foot yeah two karen all brown today we are concerned about him coming back he's trespassed as of right now okay he wasn't prior to this no okay i'm trespassing right now i'm the safety liaison okay uh so i'm the suspect is going to be ryan thompson if you're familiar with it do you want to go 30 i mean she said uh it was up to us so i'm thinking i'm thinking 90. okay 90 days yeah because he can still be here tom will be here i have to go go because just kind of walking me through everything i appreciate that yeah no kidding um so we were alerted to the dr armstrong code both ken and i exited the main clinic building door to the pharmacy was open to hear the patient verbally ill inside okay as we approached he executed the building i recognized who it was at that point he came out he was standing right about here he called his nails like ryan what's going on turn around and that's when he started with the whole like you know you guys are [ __ ] stupid here it is this is the you know medical system blah blah blah um and was becoming more aggressive um at that point he started making threats towards causing me harm okay um i told him it's like okay well that's enough for today uh he turned around and said he was going to be getting his mortgage if not today um today you're done i need you to leave and that was when he made his way back over ken had stepped in front and was walking towards the door to shut the door to be able to prevent entry back into the pharmacy so ken was ahead of you yes okay ryan was in between as king got and positioned myself walking in a gesture what like just you said he was going to oh okay gosh i got you then you struck me in the left side of the face okay right hand punch uh i believe so right hand punch left side of the face okay it's a closed fist um oh i'm sorry so i to be honest with you yeah i i memory i believe it was more of like a palm smack okay um enough that it dropped my glasses off almost off my face okay i still feel it in my neck but understandable it wasn't closed fist didn't break skin okay and our so the revised code of washington um when it differentiates assault first second third fourth okay um what would be normally assault fourth like a punch yeah all of a sudden can bump to an assault third when it's a registered nurse yes per definition are you a rna yeah i'm a registered nurse okay can i just get a photo of you standing here sure just for documentation purposes that's good just like that uh at least last i checked the rcw that's how it was yes all right so kind of the far up shot oops stand by one second all right try that again and probably six one six two um my guess probably around 200 pounds okay does he look pretty fit right now or does he look pretty kind of run down i've known him i've known him when he's up and down okay um and then clothing uh he had a i can't remember if it was a green or brown like uh carhartt style duck jacket okay um long pants i can't remember the color of his pants okay all right um and did they have much interaction with him inside he did i don't know okay as far as the trespass or whatever but 90 days is what we're looking for 90 days if we contact him okay and if he comes back i thought the culture immediately yeah all right so at this point um i have to read the fine print for the rcw i'm pretty sure registered nurse assault third degree unless something's changed um so it's something that it's one of the rare things in bellingham we actually could take him to jail for um so yeah if you call him if you see him i'm only on for another time is it now probably two hours but yeah and i'm only on for well i'm already home apparently but yeah it's something that you guys could call um because it would still be relevant to this case as opposed to assault force which we would ship off to the prosecutor's office right this is one that we could pick him up for and because he assaulted both of us i didn't get hurt yeah yep so it'd be assault forth um yeah i got again i got to look at the the final security for the security thing but um they have some funny ones in there you could be a wta mechanic and it's a salt third but there are some other ones that seem obvious and it's not yeah anyways i'll do i'll check the fine print on that and make sure i got my ducks in a row we'll have camera footage for you oh okay well he has to look at it tonight what's the name you're
