You walk up to my car with your hand on your gun. I got it on video. >> Yeah, because you're not showing. >> No, dude. That's not how this works, bro. >> No, it that's a joke. >> You need to uphold the Constitution, man. >> I am upholding No, you're not. >> Absolutely. >> No, you're not. You guys are worthless. All of you are. >> Appreciate it, man. We're trying to investigate. You drive a white Ford F-150 with colored plates that are not the white and green ones. >> Colored plates. They're veteran plates, bro. >> A veteran driver was stopped over his specialty plates and an alleged turn signal violation, but the justification quickly shifted when the officer suggested the driver resembled someone they were supposedly looking for who was armed. Despite pushing that narrative, he still walked up to the vehicle alone without backup. But from the first seconds of contact, the veteran controlled the entire encounter. The officer approached with his hand on his gun, trying to set the tone with authority. But the driver immediately challenged the basis of the stop, demanded a supervisor, and refused to play along with intimidation. What should have been a simple traffic matter turned into a full show of force. Yet none of it shifted control away from the man in the driver's seat. He stayed put, recorded everything, called out the officer's behavior in real time and forced them to explain themselves instead of blindly complying. The officers kept stacking commands, labeling him uncooperative, and surrounding the vehicle. But the more they tried to assert power, the more it exposed that they were reacting to him, not the other way around. Watch how one calm driver kept an entire group of officers on defense without ever giving them what they wanted. >> Roll your window down, sir. >> Is there a problem? >> Why am I rolling my window down? What have I done? Why am I being pulled over? Sir, roll your window. >> No, this is it right here. You can hear me. >> No, I haven't done anything wrong. >> Call your supervisor. >> It's not me. >> Okay. I need to see your ID, please. You need to get your supervisor. >> I need to see your license and registration. >> I need a supervisor here. I haven't done anything wrong. >> Well, you did commit a traffic infraction, so I still need to see your license, registration, and insurance, please. >> That's fine. As soon as your supervisor gets here. >> Okay, that's fine. >> Thank you. >> During that during that time, I just make sure I can see your hands. Thank you. Yeah, I'm a big threat with my camera here. I know, >> dude. That's That's totally fine, man. I have my body cam on. It's no big deal. >> Yep. >> I literally just told you what we're trying to investigate. You drive a white Ford F-150 with colored plates that are not the white and green ones. >> Colored plates. They're veteran plates, bro. >> They are. She said specifically in the notes. Dude, I'm trying to explain this to you. I don't understand why you were freaking out. >> Cuz I don't trust you, man. You got You walk up to my car with your hand on your gun. I got it on video. >> Yeah, BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT SHOWING. >> NO, DUDE. That's not how this works, bro. >> No, that's a >> You need to uphold the Constitution, man. >> I am upholding. >> No, you're not. Absolutely. >> No, you're not. You guys are worthless. All of you are. >> Appreciate it, man. Appreciate it. Where's your supervisor? >> He's on his way. >> Good. >> Subject's refusing to get out of the car. I don't have any reason to get out of the car. You got your hand on your gun. >> Verbally uncooperative, but >> Oh, now I'm uncooperative. >> I'm cold here. >> So, you're making me get out of my car for a traffic infraction. >> He is being uncooperative and talking to me as far as >> Now I'm uncooperative. I'm uncooperative because you're claiming I didn't use a turn signal. >> Oh boy. >> You didn't on that. I to I literally told you the real reason why I'm trying to >> I know. I know. As you got your hand on your gun there, big boy. >> Yeah, man. I can't see you through your tent. I don't know what you're doing. You show your hands out this crack of the window and then pull them back in. I showed you my hands. You wanted me to show me your hands while you had your hand on your gun. Damn right I'm staying in my car. >> Okay, but you can't roll your window down. >> Why do I need to roll my window down? >> See your hands? >> I've showed you my hands, bro. >> And then you pulled them back in and you have window tint, dude. >> Whatever. >> You can record me all you want. >> That's right. >> It's great. I literally told you why I what I'm investigating right now. >> I'll be I'll be calling the sheriff's department for that police report. I want to see it. >> Absolutely. >> Cuz you're going to have a lawsuit on your hands, buddy. >> That's fine. That's totally fine. If you think that that's warranted, go ahead. >> Damn right. For pulling me over for no reason, demanding I get out of the car while you got your hand on your gun. What is wrong with you, dude? >> All right. What's wrong with you? I GOT IT ON CAMERA. >> That's fine. That's absolutely fine. >> Where's your supervisor? >> He's on his way. You can record all you want, man. >> I know I can. >> Yeah, I'm recording, too. My body cam is on. Another Billy bad here, I guess. Now another one's walked up behind me on the other side. The second officer doesn't even turn on his lights back. >> Sir, you can film me all you want, but regardless of that fact, I still need to see your ID. I need to see your license, registration, and insurance. Regardless of all that, we got them all coming now. Wow. A Gulf War veteran gets pulled over and he's got he's got police department coming. >> Slow down. >> The man had his >> not complying with not coming out of the car. Show me his identification, but he is not doing anything. That's right. >> Yeah, I know. I'm not doing anything. Look at this guy creeping up behind me here. Look at him. >> Sir, as I mentioned before, regardless of the fact of you filming me or doing whatever, I told you the reason why I contacted you in which I still need to see your license. I still need to see your license, registration, and insurance, please. Got them all coming up. all these guys. Pulls me over, follows me for no reason, and then decides he's going to turn his lights on and pull me over. >> Use your turn signal turning off of Airway Park on a Malberry. >> Hey, I didn't give you any permission to look in here. puts his hand on his gun, demanding I step out. Where's your supervisor? >> He's on his way. I told you. >> Look at all these cops. There's a whole pile of them here. And one of them doesn't even use his light. They're probably trying to come up with something else to give me an infraction on, I guess. Huh? >> White male driver, approximately late 40s, 50s, gray hair, gray beard. A looks like a blue sweatshirt, black ball cap on. What are these guys doing yet? A few weeks ago, when I get damn near run off the road and call the sheriff, you get no help. Unbelievable. I guess they're going to what? Break in. Is your supervisor coming? What's that? >> Where is your supervisor? >> He's on his way. >> I'm going to turn my car off. >> That's fine. >> I don't have any weapons. No drugs. >> What's up? >> I have no weapons. No drugs. >> I'm not investigating for drugs. >> I'm just telling you I got no weapons, no drugs, no anything. >> Okay. I appreciate that. >> I'm perfectly legal to drive. >> Okay. >> Again, regardless of that fact, I still need to see your license, registration, and insurance. >> When your supervisor gets here, we'll talk. >> Okay. Look at him. They caused the whole scene here. Even >> just a water bottle. >> I got you. You see how this officer just like had his hand on his gun, man, as he was coming to my car. Wow. Demanding I step out of my vehicle. >> Hey, man. Keep your other hand where I can see it, please. >> I ain't got no weapons, dude. If you want to shoot a GF Corvette today, buddy, you go ahead. >> No, I don't. >> Good. >> I really don't. But I need to see your other hand. Hey, show me your other hand. >> Look in the car if you got a problem, dude. He was eventually let go without any ticket, which makes the escalation even harder to justify. This stop raised serious Fourth Amendment issues because an unclear plate suspicion and a minor signal claim don't justify turning a traffic contact into a drawn out intimidation scene. Officers are supposed to keep stops limited in scope and duration, not escalate with hands-on weapons or pile in units to force compliance. The veteran stayed put, recorded, asked for a supervisor, and didn't surrender his rights under pressure. That's what exposed the overreach.
