today we're going to talk about times when cops got caught violating the law so without any further Ado let's get straight into it I was just walking when he ran into a cop who wanted to arrest him the man was confused and asked him to tell him his Reasonable articulable Suspicion but the cop didn't care about any of that and just put him in cuffs suspicion we don't have to give all that to you once the cup did that the guy once again asked him what's their Ras Reasonable articulable Suspicion and the other cop just laughed about it then the guy asked him a very legitimate question if his freedom was funny to him funny my freedom is funny to you yes the same cop then told him that he matched the description but when asked once again to provide Reasonable articulable Suspicion the cop thinking that it somehow makes him smart just told the man that they don't have to give him all that the man was quite surprised by this and wondered what was happening in America but they just ignored him and put him in their car instead then they accused him of looking through people's windows without any evidence whatsoever in the end the man got tired of dealing with these unprofessional cops and asked for a lawyer here we have a very nervous cop who told the woman to stay in her car even though she told him that she lives there you can just tell by his nervous tone that something will go very wrong very fast she got out of her car and when she turned her back to grab something probably a driver's license from the car the cop just sneaked up on her which is why she told him to back up why do you think I'm getting into a car I just I'm gonna look I'm gonna look here I don't know that because grab your driver's license grab your driver's license you back [ __ ] up okay the other guy then asked him why he was being so aggressive well that's a good question anyway the woman was clearly upset because she was stopped for no reason meanwhile the cops surrounded her partner and when he tried to walk away they just grabbed him upsetting the woman even more what happened next is shocking to say the least don't [Applause] instead of trying to de-escalate the situation they didn't only grab the woman but they brought her to the ground the cops completely lost it at this point and used what can only be described as excessive force after quite a bit of resistance they handcuffed her and put her in the car the couple sued the police for using excessive force and the city of Denver has agreed to pay them a five hundred thousand dollar settlement next up we have a cop that wanted to write this couple a ticket for being in a park After Hours the woman wasn't comfortable with that and asked the cop for his name and badge number when she didn't want to sign a ticket the cop threatened to arrest her and I don't have to sign it right you do have to sign no I don't well like I explained to him if you don't sign it then you're going to be physically taken to jail so you refusing the sign what's your name officer Brooks he told her to put her hands behind her back and when she didn't want to comply he proceeded to use excessive force on her he put her to the ground where you can hear her repeatedly asking him why she was being arrested but he just ignored her and told her once again to put her hands behind her back while using excessive force the whole time despite the fact that she told him she was gonna sign the ticket I'm going to find the ticket why am I being arrested can you please tell me why I'm being arrested oh my God God please in the name of Jesus please God my name why am I being arrested Mr Brooks I'm going to sign a ticket Mr brunt why am I being arrested why am I being arrested I don't understand why I'm being arrested can you please tell me why I'm being arrested after a lot of struggle the cop managed to put her in handcuffs and escorted her back to his car she slept in a jail that night and it took her a while to recover from the emotional and physical trauma according to her attorney the cop did in fact tell her to put her hands behind her back but he never offered her an explanation for why she was arrested he also added that the officer's refusal to provide that explanation escalated the situation to one that was deeply agitated and completely unnecessary the Atlanta Police Department on the other hand issued the statement that basically Justified the cop's actions they said that she was actively resisting his efforts which resulted in a physical altercation as the officer attempted to place her into custody one of the detectives in the department then offered advice to anyone who may end up in a similar situation saying that they should just sign a ticket and then fight it another day in court oh
