On June 16th, officers conducted a traffic stop after a driver nearly hit an officer with her car before swerving and cutting off an 18-wheeler. When police pull her over, they quickly realize she's intoxicated after spotting an alcoholic beverage sitting next to her child. >> I'm happy to cooperate with you guys. I'm going to share with you all the stuff, right? >> The reason I'm pulling you over is when you passed me over there on the traffic stop, you got to adhere one lane. The move over law in Florida, you have to adhere one lane to law enforcement. You almost hit me. I saw you swerving and when you swerved, almost hitting me. And then when I get behind you at the main light, you're itching forward way past the stop bar on a red light. You're almost in the lane of travel for the vehicles coming at you. Not to mention the semi truck driver you cut off and he was yelling at you outside your window. Where did you have dinner at? What is it? >> Fried crab. >> Fried crab? >> Fried crab. >> Where's that at? >> It's in Orlando. >> The officer asks for her license and insurance, but she's too drunk to know where to search for them. I don't know how you have your insurance. Sometimes it's carried by the phone, you have the app on the phone, or sometimes people have a hard copy of it. This is all information that you have to have prior to driving the vehicle. >> I do. I know. But this guy is like this is a whole situation, so I guess I'll let you definitely get it. I am. I am. I am. I have to go. >> Okay, ma'am. Don't worry about the insurance for now. Now, cuz I see you're not making any effort on your phone. So, don't worry about the insurance for now, cuz I've already given you enough time to try to locate it, all right? So, just go ahead and put your phone down, all right? All right, how much have you had to drink tonight? Ma'am? Hello. How much have you had to drink tonight? A few drinks? How much is a few, cuz a few to me might not be a few to you. Based on your driving and how I've seen you driving and what I'm seeing here with you right now, I believe that there will be some signs of impairment. And you have an open container of alcohol in the backseat that this deputy is stating. And you have kids in the car. All right, hang up the phone at this point. Hang up the phone at this point. Ma'am, are you going to cooperate with the things that I'm asking you to do? I'm asking you a few questions to determine if you're safe to drive and you're kind of ignoring me and you're on the phone. Yes, when I get pulled over I don't immediately hop on the phone. I try to talk to the deputy that I'm speaking to. Is there a reason why you're looking over there at him and not at me and I'm the one speaking to you? Okay. How much have you had to drink tonight, ma'am? Is there a reason why you're ignoring my questions? Okay. You don't You don't want to answer my questions?
