in this video we'll be looking at some encounters where cops tried to impose their own laws but got Instant Karma instead so without any further delay let's get right into it here we have a very confused rookie cop harassing a guy for filming stuff in public the fact that he doesn't know the law coupled with his demeanor will certainly make you question if he's even a real cop have I committed a crime yeah can you stop walking towards me suicide why are you detaining me why are you detaining me on you why are you detaining me I have no idea on you can you call your sergeant please this is weird to make things even worse he's having a hard time calling his Sergeant instead of doing that when asked he wants to illegally detain this man who hasn't committed any crime the rookie cop is trying to make excuses for himself but the man is too smart for that he knows the law all too well and he proceeds to teach this ignorant cop a thing or two about it I know for a fact you're illegally detaining me what's your name and badge number two two three zero three after some time the cop finally calls a supervisor as he should have done right from the start while they're waiting they continue to argue the man keeps teaching the cop to do his job and the cop just stands there acting all confused even asking the guy if he's a lawyer none of your [ __ ] business what I am I'm telling you you can't just detain people and then search for a crime after a while the man decides to walk away and the cop just follows him like a confused little duckling we don't know what happened in the end but we sure hope that the supervisor arrived quickly to put an end to this madness not every Sergeant knows the law like our previous guy sometimes they act like they just graduated from the academy just look at this Sergeant right here and his hostile demeanor he had a problem with this guy filming police cars in public when the guy didn't want to provide his ID the sergeant got really angry and said that's not normal to do what he was doing I do not okay know who you are when you're out here casing my place I don't know what you're doing you don't understand oh I'm just filming that's all okay but you say that but I don't know what you're doing well I mean I mean why are you out here filming police cars and well just for general public knowledge that's all then the guy asked him a very legitimate question if he was law enforcement or normal enforcement okay I need to see some some kind of identification who are you I'm Sergeant you're Sergeant it's not normal for somebody are you a law enforcement or a normal enforcement so you're telling me that every law that's written in the U.S has to be normal in order to be no sir okay then you just there's no crime here the surgeon said that he had Reasonable Suspicion but the guy interrupted him and asked him what crime he had committed he even wanted to detain the guy but then the guy stood his ground until I find out what crime tell me that and after you answer that question after you answer that question I don't have to tell you a damn thing eventually the sergeant had no other choice but to wish this man a good day good day to you sir here we have a chief repeatedly asking the man to identify himself because he was filming in a public Lobby who are you I'm the chief and if you're going to come into my Lobby and videotape in today's day and age I think I have the right to ask you for to identify yourself okay is it not a public Lobby it is okay but this is a little bit is photography a crime he thought he was going to get away with giving unlawful orders but what he didn't count on was that this guy knew the law I'm asking if photography is a crime is it yes or no I need your ID why do you suspect me of a crime hmm do you suspect me of a crime because in the state of Utah you can ask but in the state of Utah you have to suspect me of a crime in order so true so it's a stop and ID State without even suspicion of a crime I can tell you I'm news media I'm here filming well that would be nice to know and that's all you need to know you didn't ask the guy explained that he was filming in a public Lobby and asked the chief if photography is a crime he also asked them if he was suspected of committing a crime instead of answering that the chief took out his phone and asked for backup then the guy revealed that he was news media and the chief asked him for press identification when the guy refused you could see a very concerned look on the Chief's face he probably realized that he was getting completely owned by this guy who clearly knows the law suspicious to me my Lobby and I'm curious to know who you are I'm someone who checks up on the government and it's suspicious to me that you're so worried about the people putting cameras on you what are you doing wrong then why are you so worried about the camera because I need to know who you are you are doing something wrong right now you're trying to demand ID unlawfully the guy kept lecturing him and you would think that the chief would have understood everything but nope he kept demanding for this guy's ID and even said that he was being detained after being lectured some more the chief finally left this guy alone what a dick now I can understand if you're suspicious you can ask me what I'm doing hi I'm here filming you to check up on you and make sure that you all are obeying the law and not violating people's rights that'll be all am I detained or am I free to go no you're detaining I am detained all right we're going to do an unlawful detainment then I need your ID sir and what crime do you suspect me of are you joking so you're demanding my ID and if I don't give it to you then what I need your IDs well I'd like to assert my rights but if you're threatening to violently throw me in a cage or something if I don't give it then I'll give it under duress under threat of violence okay I'm going to ask you to leave you can you're asking me to leave a public lobby as the media the state doesn't issue press passes so to get a press pass what you do is you go you can write it in crayon or you can create it yourself um on a computer you can print it out you can laminate it you can make it look as professional as you want but no State anywhere in the United States issues press passes because we have the freedom of the press in the United States of America no there's nothing aggressive well I I feel intimidated and threatened I'm sorry about that yeah well I don't think you are but what was your name can you verbally give it to me you can't you got my name right is that what you tell the judge I don't tell the judge that now no because you got a little bit more respect for the judge than than the general public well you're not your engagement good then go back to your office go back to work and I'll do my job all right you're dismissed thank you for coming
