i was
turning this way to go on a quick trip
to use the restroom i looked wasn't
there looked this way
i went and boomed
i must not be able to see it with my
glasses squat number 46. i got you
all right um
and you guys were coming off of uh
coming off the ramp here right okay
okay where did you hit the squad
[Music]
[Applause]
all right
okay
[Applause]
so you're brianna yes i am vincent
okay
[Applause]
um do you have your id
[Applause]
see we're just driving and she came off
the exit ramp there
[Applause]
nice
this is drivable yeah
and neil's still back there yeah
let's get his info off the kid
howdy
too so oh
yeah
she's headed to the jail yeah
[Applause]
yeah
i'll get it written up here
no i don't think so
i'll be right back with you guys gotta
right at the crash report real quick
[Applause]
negative
[Applause]
okay
have you used anything illegal today
brianna no okay do you use anything
illegal no you never do
oh i have before yes okay obviously
what have you used in the past
marijuana
is that it that is it that's all i've
ever done
um how do you know this guy here
i used to work with him at my previous
job so i've known him for about a year
okay
[Applause]
i don't know
have you guys
been smoking today or smoking earlier
all right you probably heard my dog
barking
i do have a canine trying to alert the
order of drugs includes marijuana
meth coke heroin
mdma
is there any reason the dog might
indicate some of those odors coming from
the vehicle today
i've had it in my vehicle before
i'm sure
when's the last time you've smoked
um a couple days
okay do you have anything minor in the
vehicle you want to tell me about before
i run the dog around do you have a
little bit of weed or a pipe or anything
there might be some from the day before
okay just a very small amount
okay how much are we talking like half a
gram gram
an eighth or how much you usually buy at
a time
just like an eighth or
yeah
[Applause]
and you didn't you're positive you
didn't smoke at all today
[Applause]
hey vincent can you hop out for me
[Applause]
have you used anything illegal today
have you smoked at all or anything like
that no no
okay
do you have anything illegal in the
vehicle no
okay
i don't know if you've heard him barking
but i do have a canine trained alert to
the order of drugs
before i run him around the car here is
there anything that you want to tell me
about
do you have anything minor like a little
bit of weed or a pipe or anything
i have nothing on me nothing on you okay
how about in the vehicle
okay do you have anything in the vehicle
that belongs to you
i don't think what's on there okay can i
check your pockets
have you been in trouble before at all
ever anything drug related
do you have anything in your pockets
brianna
do you want me to clear your mouth can i
check your pockets
[Applause]
i have inside pockets i have scrubs on
it's not nice
you got a little bit of weed right here
a little bit of marijuana shake right in
your uh market
what's in the
i have scrubs on here i'm gonna take
this off what's in the inside packaging
let me take it out or you want to
it's just a mask and some money yeah
it's my right money to my parents okay
anything illegal no
okay
um you guys want to come back here and
stand back here for me
i'm gonna get the dog out he won't
bother you as long as you don't bother
him okay
okay
[Applause]
hang tight right there for me
[Applause]
i think she's got marijuana shape in her
look like in her sweatshirt pocket
[Applause]
[Applause]
this time
[Applause]
yep
[Applause]
[Applause]
let me
push it
boost
leave it
leave it
[Applause]
leave it
[Applause]
oh good
oh
[Applause]
[Music]
[Applause]
um i'll let you finish smoking your
cigarette there and then i'll have you
sit in mine and rihanna you'll sit in
this one here all right
[Applause]
looks like you got a little bit of
marijuana shaking here sweatshirt pocket
i know it's not my sweatshirt pocket but
is that from a blunt or something
earlier or something
i don't know it's his sweatshirt i was
cold at his apartment he let me borrow
it
okay that's it
okay can you take a seat in there for me
all right i'll be right back with you
shortly
radically hop out for me
[Applause]
um
so
i mean obviously we found the
tiny bit of weed uh the one hitter
and the half smoked blunt
um
based on that i'm going to assume that
you guys are
cruising around smoking smells a little
bit like burnt wheat in there okay um
what uh were you guys literally smoking
when you hit her or no you guys smoking
a little bit a little before or
a little bit before like barely like i'm
serious i seriously did not see her like
when he asked me too and he was like did
you seriously not cereal said no i said
i looked i seriously did not see her
okay so were you wearing those big
sunglasses yes that's why i say that
probably got in the way because i can't
find any that go over it besides those
ones and i've never had an issue with
them
okay
all right um how many hits did you take
out of that
just a couple yeah like that's why i
don't understand like
it wasn't high it wasn't i don't think
that affected your driving no not at all
um
what uh
were you guys coming from across yes
okay so you just took a couple of heads
from across to here yeah and now i'm
gonna go to pitch it go to the bathroom
drop him off and i was gonna go home
all right
um
okay
i smelled like strong perfume and stuff
and assuming you guys are trying to mask
the order of the weed a little bit no
it's just really strong either no
masking that you know that
okay
um
[Applause]
all right
you had an older bi last year right yes
i'm being honest with you was that for
was that for alcohol or for marijuana
that was from marijuana
doesn't it say it on there
um i didn't look into it really i just
saw one prior autobiography yeah no i'm
not a drinker
[Applause]
there was a miller-like like
i'm not a drinker okay
all right um
can you uh can you take your glasses off
for me
i want to do a couple tests with you
here without my glasses um well this
isn't this doesn't involve any walking
or anything okay i don't have good depth
reception i've already gone so yeah this
doesn't involve any walking or balancing
or liking my face yeah yep
so
here's how the test is gonna go um
i'll have you stand just like you are
feet together arms at your sides so what
i'm gonna have you do is when i say so
you're going to tilt your head back like
this with your eyes closed
and you're going to estimate the passage
of 30 seconds of time without counting
out loud okay so when i say so you're
going to close your eyes tilt your head
back like this okay and you're going to
estimate 30 seconds worth of time okay
like i said without counting out loud
now when you think that 30 seconds of
time is up just bring your head down and
open your eyes and just say done or
whatever okay
does that test make sense yes okay
okay
that's the one that he said i failed at
all right let me uh
all right whenever you're ready you can
go ahead and start that test
[Applause]
all right
[Applause]
um
so and this was last year right 2019
january 22nd 27th 2019
see you're
i'm sure you explained this last year um
yeah you can't be operating motor
vehicle with
thc in your blood
it's illegal it's just it's the same as
essentially
operating with a prohibited alcohol
concentration of 0.08 or higher yes
i get it so you got to stop
if you're not going to stop smoking
you know what i was doing so good i'm
very mad at myself right now you gotta
stop
smoking it and driving yes and i was
doing so good like i
wasn't
maybe it's maybe it's a bad influence
from vincent or maybe it's just you or
whatever it was yes
um either way um i don't have a choice
but the place you're under arrest again
tonight for operating with a restricted
controlled substances in your blood
okay
uh you've been cooperative i'll put your
handcuffs in front
take my watch off um if you'd like
tight last time
yeah yeah i'll be careful i'm gonna see
your watch here it's a fitbit
yeah it'll be fine you can leave it on
okay
got small wrists
that okay
yeah get on your bone
don't worry i'm not a threat
i know i can tell
okay yeah
you're right yeah let me double lock
them so they don't get any tighter on
you can i put my sleeves on yeah
um
question is can you find anyone to come
get you as long as i have my phone i
don't have i can bring your phone where
would they be coming from
well if i can get a hold of my one
friend he would be in
uh sparta oh okay
he's not working
okay because i don't i don't have to
take you to the jail
we'll have to do a little paperwork and
probably go to the hospital okay um but
i don't have to actually
take you and book you into the jail
thank you if you can find someone to
come get you right from the hospital
i'll cut you loose right from there as
long as you let me have my phone you're
going to do my contact okay
i'll have you come back and jump in my
car i'll grab your phone um what about
my car i can't need it
um
[Applause]
um
sorry i'm not
we don't really have
a way to get it somewhere right now
if he wants if you want to leave it on
the side of the road here with its four
ways on for a little bit that's fine i
mean vince that i'm assuming is gonna
have to sit in there and wait for a
little while to find a ride are you
gonna allow me or somebody i mean i
don't care if you or somebody you put me
in the car and you can pull it over what
yeah yeah
so
all right what else do you need out of
there my phone that's it just your phone
just my phone i'm just gonna bring your
phone and id then
bare minimum you need to get jim get you
out okay
all right let's take a seat back in the
car here
fire
[Applause]
never
[Music]
you
