in today's video we'll be looking at some instances where corrupt cops realized they had been caught so without any further delay let's jump right into it on May 17 2022 Pinellas County deputy sheriff Shelby Elise Coniglio was driving on a highway when a fellow cop officer Kristen Higgins from St Petersburg Police Department pulled her over for going 56 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour Zone and also for driving recklessly when officer Higgins approached her vehicle to ask about the license registration and proof of insurance Deputy Coniglio immediately tried to use her position to get off scot-free that is some Next Level sense of entitlement right there seriously okay and my driver's license huh I'm a Pinellas County Deputy okay do you have your license registration she didn't have her license or any kind of ID for that matter but she did repeat that she was a deputy hoping that would somehow save her it didn't what's really interesting is how she was staring at the officer as if to say that she gets a free pass because she's a deputy she then tried to make excuses for herself when officer Higgins told her why she pulled her over she actually said that she was driving normally well of course she was going to say that but the officer knew what she saw and didn't leave any room for manipulation from the entitled deputy do you have your license registration no you don't do you have your ID on you oh do you have any weapons on you no okay well I'm a deputy but that's why I'm asking do you have any weapons on you I live right there oh I would normally but do you have your some kind of ID or anything out here my ID is not here but I'm up in Austin Deputy okay do you have some kind of idea on you know I was just driving that way I dropped my friend off and then I went this way because my eye live right there I get that but I pulled you over because you were flying past everybody and you were no I was just driving okay at this point you were going like 56 and a 40. we were flying no I was not flying I was just do you have your registration with your name on it or anything well this car is not mine the deputy he also said that the car she was driving wasn't her own but her father's after some time she finally found her driver's license and gave it to the officer but when asked about her work ID she said that it was in her Cruiser over at her house this car is not mine so do you have anything with your name on it is that your driver's license right there it's my driver's license I have my um driver's license sure do you have your uh work ID no it's at home in my cruiser where do you live at I live at it's not the address in your license no whose car is this my father's give me a second worry about it while officer Higgins was checking her driver's license another officer approached the deputy and came in contact with her asking her some more questions about her job she was probably surprised that this person was actually a deputy hi I'm so sorry you're fine I put the wrong one how are you hey good what's going on tonight um I have no idea I'm trying to get home oh okay do you know why she pulled you over uh she said because I'm driving too fast oh okay but I'm a Pinellas County deputy and I'm just trying to get to my house which is right there gotcha okay yeah okay how long you been with us though five years gotcha is that a problem no absolutely not trying to yeah yeah I don't know what she's doing uh right now but I'm just gonna stand by with you until she figures out what she wants to do you want me to get out no no you're fine then a male officer and approached her and they were chit-chatting for a while and here you can clearly see just how intoxicated she was she was literally talking nonsense and even went as far as to ask the officer to come inside and hang out notice the difference in her behavior towards the male officer she was flirting the whole time but this officer stood his ground and acted as a professional she's probably gotten away with that kind of behavior before unfortunately for her she ran into professionals I'm gonna go to the the AOA you're good here yeah all right you said you were a deputy where oh that sounds nice yeah how long you been with them five years I mean I could get out I could get in I mean you could come in no no you're good right here listen I'm just trying to I'm just I don't know whatever you guys wanted to do whatever you're good I live at that light right there gotcha so if you want to hang out if you don't want to hang out where are you coming from uh not even long um you know Gandy Boulevard I picked up a picked up someone brought them over to their house and then I was going back to my house because I am just living my life I got you and they actually live with Pinellas and so I was like oh I'll bring you home boom boom boom boom easy espanol but where from wait say you're Spanish yes you say you said where honey you know I speak you speak in Spanish Federal Way ah okay I'm Dominican Dominican oh no no no no no no no what's wrong with that Italiano okay and I only speak a some Spanish okay for the most part Italiano but she pulled me over I do whatever I got it but you're a Saint Pete so it doesn't matter so you um like a special unit with the so or just a no Patrol that's cool her no no no she's been non-price about the same amount of time as you five years he's been on five years and it's taking this long she was just making a phone call to who I'm here with you I don't know she's coming now after after some time officer Higgins finally returned and asked the deputy to step out of her vehicle once she did the officer asked her if she could check her eyes and the deputy denied it with the guiltiest look on her face that's probably when she realized that she was in some serious trouble the officer then explained very clearly that she wanted to give her the opportunity to show her that she was okay to drive you gotta respect officer Higgins patience here also kudos to her for treating this Deputy like she would treat a regular citizen that's the kind of Integrity police officers need to have but unfortunately that's not always the case far from it actually alrighty yeah we stop over here can you walk out are you able to walk over here yeah in the [ __ ] well no I just want to get on the sidewalks all right talking to you and getting some signs of impairment okay can I check your eyes real quick really all right I want I'm I want to give you every chance to say that you're fine okay so can I check your eyes real quick this is what we're gonna do right now I don't have a choice you don't have a choice no and you pulled me over for going 10 miles over the speed limit you were going more than 10 miles it's not the speed it's also how you're driving no look 10 miles over the speed limit I'm not gonna argue with you I mean unfortunately we're past that point you understand my position all right I want to give you every opportunity for you to show me that you're okay to drive and I really hope that that's the results we get okay but at this point I can't just look the other way that's where you're at right now can I check your eyes real quick this is how you're doing it really yeah yeah I don't have a choice no yes you do I can't treat anybody any differently yes you would no I wasn't in other people's Lanes okay I'm not gonna argue about that there's dash cam video and all that okay but we're past that point right now the point is you were stopped you're showing signs of impairment no I'm not sure all right I want to give you every opportunity I I want to ask the deputy wanted to know what signs of impairment she was showing and when officer Higgins told her all the signs such as wreaking of alcohol slurred speech blank expression and bloodshot eyes she just brushed them off basically saying that she was in perfect condition yeah right lady I I wanna ask what signs of impairment was I feeling you've got bloodshot watery eyes nope nope I want to know pulling over pulling over what was the signs of impairment I'm not gonna because I do not have bloodshot a watery eyes because I have contact lenses in my eyes okay I have contact lenses I'm not trying to argue with you okay I want I'm hoping that you can show me that you're that you're okay to drive okay but I have to go forward with this I have to at least no no I just want to know I explained to you you smell very strongly of alcohol your movements have been very slow and fumbling you have a very dazed facial expression all these are signs of impairments okay again if you're good to drive perfect but that's I have to I have to investigate that after quite a bit of back and forth the deputy finally realized that she had no other choice but to allow the officer to check her eyes she also managed to trip even before they started that right there should tell you everything you need to know about her condition while the officer was checking her eyes the deputy complained the whole time saying that the light was too close after some trouble she finally completed the test this flight yeah so what I'm going to do is follow this red light with your eyes with your iPhone that is what I'm going to do is follow it with your eyes and your eyes only I don't want you to move your head at all okay if your shoes are bothering you you can take them all that's too fast it's too far away so far away okay your light is in my face too far up I can't look all the way up as far as your and you're right you're gonna go your eyes should go on as far up as I can go I can't see anything over there hang out here after they were done with checking her eyes the officer proceeded to ask her a bunch of personal questions and then asked her to do a few more tests after a bit of protesting the deputy finally agreed all right um are you able to spell your first and last name for me s-h-e-o-d-y o and what's your date birth how tall are you five two okay how much 150 pounds what color your eyes Brown do you know your social security number yes what's up that's your social security number what about the rest of it where were you born and what's your current address you said you work for hcso pcso up Pinellas County yes you told me Hillsborough County no I did not I never said that okay I said pcso are you um Street Deputy or defensive no I am a deputy Pinellas County I'm a troll officer how do you describe your overall health good Fair poor I think it's okay okay at this time I give you the opportunity to participate in two more fields sobriety test is that something you'd be willing to do you think that I'm impaired right now after eyes so in in the eyes you're showing signs of impairment I want to give you every opportunity to show me that you're okay yeah okay so again there's two additional tasks the walking turn sure I'll do all of the tests okay perfect the deputy had some trouble taking her shoes off but once she did she proceeded to do the walk and turn test that didn't go so well for her totally up to you but I would suggest taking dishes off um you're probably a lot more comfortable but it's hard to say you need help thank you all right let me come up step up this line are you ready all right what I'm going to do is put your left foot on the line other left and then you can put your right front front like this standing Heel To Toe arms down at your thighs stay in that position don't move till I tell you to begin now when I tell you to begin you're gonna take nine Heel To Toe steps down the line okay it's gonna look like this one two three and so forth and to the ninth step you're going to keep your front foot planted you're gonna step off in your back foot I'm going to turn around by making a series of small steps and what was this so you're gonna take nine heels of toe steps back down the line one two three and so forth several things I want you to keep in mind during this test when you look down at your feet keep your arms without your sides kind of steps out loud once you've started this test I don't want you to stop until you finish do you have any questions steps hot out and then remind yourself yep turn around as I demonstrate and keep your front foot planted you're gonna step off your back foot you're just gonna turn around like this you don't need to count your steps when you're turning around you kind of step down your nine steps down and your nine steps back okay okay you may begin one two three four five six seven eight all heels to toe steps one one two three four five six seven nine after the walk and turn test she did the balance test and failed that one as well oh um now I forgot once she was finished officer Higgins read the deputy her rights and proceeded to ask her some questions about that night the funny thing is how she kept denying that she had any alcohol despite her smelling like it'll learn if you cannot afford to hire a lawyer one will be appointed to represent you you can decide any time to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statement do you understand these rights as I read them to you yes having them in mind do you want to talk to me now sure okay so where are you coming from tonight I am coming from downtown South Beach what time do you go go downtown at about seven PM okay um do you come from your place yeah a little bit oh you're eating me okay um yeah so in your downtown where'd you go down to downtown uh multiple places um place where you can buy like light light pieces for your apartment okay you know okay do you remember what it's called I don't remember but you can buy a cup of juice where else did you go do you remember a couple pieces of what you're saying that like like like pictures okay for apartment complexes okay but like lamps yeah lamps lamps um there are a lot of dogs there whatever else you left no we were just trying to this furniture together um what time is it right now without looking if you have to guess uh 12 o'clock um how much do you have to drink while you're down there okay here's the thing we both know you've been drinking by telling us complete lies like I know that you're not me not okay so I know you had something the next thing you know the officer placed her in cuffs and put her in the police car all right all right you got nothing on you no pockets in here I don't think of your bra let's put your feet huh keep those rings on um do you want those in the car or do you want once she was in the car she tried to take a lot of deep breaths and to hyperventilate hoping that it would lower her breath test it didn't another weapon she eventually submitted a breath alcohol test at her BAC registered at .206 percent and 0.219 to put that into perspective the Florida State's legal BAC limit is 0.08 Deputy Coniglio was fired the very next day next up we have another deputy this time from the Orange County Sheriff's Office named Zachary Lewis Erickson who was pulled over on February 26 2022 by the cops from West Melbourne police department turns out that Deputy Erickson was going more than 80 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour Zone after he'd get this ran away from his mother's wedding you really can't make this stuff up the cop who pulled him over immediately told him why he did that he told him that he was speeding and that he could sense that he had too much to drink the deputy didn't deny it and was very apologetic about it and then in a surprising turn of events he started sobbing how you doing good so you got your firearm on you okay the don't you put your hands down for sure yeah well you were going 80 miles per hour and I'm gonna assume you've had a little bit too much to drink yep miles per hour on Main Road and the speed limit is 45. who do you work for Orange County sorry buddy that's kind of unacceptable driving pattern you're under the influence I can tell already and you're traveling 80 miles per hour I'm sorry man can I call it a friend no man that's not how that works go ahead and put your car in park yeah there's 95 94 unit don't listen you're gonna have my gun where are you headed to all right please have someone come pick me up where are you headed to man my mom's getting married this weekend that doesn't really tell me where you're headed to where are you coming from all right listen put your hands behind yours and see rest man I'm gonna take this gun off you I look I don't I don't want it you got any other firearms on you dude revealed that he was a deputy that is his dad died when he was 18 and that he just ran away from his mother's wedding the officer urged him to pull himself together and reminded him that he was a grown man and that actions have consequences he then ordered him to step out of the vehicle which the deputy did without question just pull yourself together where are you headed to anywhere but my mom's Hotel because I don't know what to do well you're headed somewhere because you have it on your phone I don't anywhere to a circle man I'm nervous I'm getting married you know the guy that's got nothing to do with you how old are you how old are you you've yet to give me your ID where's your driver's license at my room where's your registration is this your current address yep okay yeah you'll be able to get out momentarily as soon as we get another officer on scene I'll have you step out of the vehicle all right yeah come on step out man go ahead and step on the sidewalk once outside the deputy just continued to cry and make excuses for his behavior he tried to blame everything on his mom but the officer called him out for that immediately he then revealed that he was a deputy which took the officer by surprise he certainly didn't expect a deputy to act like that it's kind of obvious that this Deputy isn't mentally and emotionally stable or mature enough to be in law enforcement at all I'm sorry where are you headed to I don't know where are you coming from my mom's hotel and I don't know where I'm going you know where you're going you got you're going somewhere it's on your phone's GPS ma'am I don't know I'm I'm I am so scared that my mom's getting married to a new guy dude how old are you almost 30. you're almost 30 years old and you want to blame your actions on the fact that your mom is choosing to move on with her life no man let me ask you something would you accept that answer from someone else that you pulled over I'm going to be completely honest with you I have no idea how to do a DUI okay then another officer arrived and started questioning the deputy asking him where he was coming from where he was headed and how much he had to drink despite the officer reminding him of consequences the deputy still refused to do a field sobriety test as well as a breath test I just walk to the sidewalk you visiting no what do you do in this area yeah what do you do in this area you know someone that lives in the area oh your mom lives here where at Melbourne come over and where do you live Orlando yeah my brother can pick me up I got some questions for you do you have diabetes no I'm not gonna take a meeting all right I just want to ask you some medical questions are you up the Atlantic are you sick or injured are you taking any medication okay have you had anything to drink tonight have you have you had anything to drink tonight okay what'd you drink today what kind of drinks liquor beer wine beer okay how long ago was that four five hours ago four or five hours ago where which is where A1A what's the name of your hotel were you trying to get there or were you going somewhere right now that's not your hotel it's where we headed to though like a circle what kind of circle you don't have any guns or anything on you no no can I buy you down yeah charity okay okay gotcha that's I see a phone I'm good all right so you say you're heading to a circle like a Circle K or what do you mean like where are we going right now before she pulled you over no okay just let's [ __ ] upset me okay so so you're saying our hotel you didn't know where you're going your mom lives in the area in Melbourne yeah and you live where I live in Orlando okay I'm not requesting that you perform several exercises to help determine if you are capable of driving there are several tasks that I will explain and demonstrate for you do you have any physical defects disabilities that would prevent you from being able to walk a straight line or stand in one foot no okay we want to do these exercises no if you refuse to perform the exercise I have to make a decision as to whether you are safe it's a driver not based on anything I've seen up to this point do you understand where you perform the exercises okay additionally you're refusal to perform that can be used against you in a court of law do you understand that will you perform the exercises are we going to do a breath test to determine the alcohol content of your breath okay I'll read you something I am not requesting that you submit to an approved chemical type of test of your breath for the purpose of determining the alcohol content of your breath or a urine test for the purpose of detecting the presence of chemical or Controlled Substances if you refuse to submit to this test your privileged to operate a motor vehicle will be suspended for a period of one year for a first or for 18 months if you're driving privileges has been previously suspended as a result of a refusal to submit to such a test further if your driving privilege has been previously suspended for a prior prior refusal to submit to a lawful test of your breath urine or blood and you refuse the test I am requesting of you now you will you will be committing a misdemeanor you refusal to submit to this test is admissible into evidence in any Court proceedings do you understand what I've explained to you we used to submit to a breath test the next thing you know they placed him in cuffs searched him and put him in their car we're gonna rest with you welcome once inside he kept asking the officer if he could call his mom he reminded him that he was a deputy and asked if he could help him out but the officer stood his ground can I call my mom yeah I'm gonna meet up with the van driver and we'll do all that okay please yep because after the paperwork or the affidavit please can you listen to cost man yeah just let me finish what I gotta do my [ __ ] tired bro please please ah [ __ ] please bro come on man please please please bro I gotta finish this first because it's more important and then I know but these cups twisting them around I'm not I didn't put on that fight he did I put two fingers between the cup and not a bit come on man look bro I'm listen man I'm a deputy all right can you help me out with the cups yeah yes please you don't have to help me out anything like that no no come on man they don't have to be that tight man I didn't put it that way you could do whatever you got to do to me or please just just relax they're gonna put in the front eventually come on meet me you gotta put in the front baby you keep distracting me won't be able to help them out to film to put your Cuffs in the front when he comes the driver the van driver can you help me out yeah but let me just finish this real quick these are on the way and then if I'm not very interested before they come they might leave and then you're gonna have to drive the cross in the back when that didn't work the deputy told the officer that he had chest pain and the cop agreed to loosen the Cuffs a little bit and to drive him to a hospital but on the way there the deputy changed his mind and decided that he didn't have to go to a hospital after all they parked their car and the deputy continued to make excuses for himself and to beg the cop to open the door and to call his mom he did that until the end of the video after witnessing this encounter it's pretty obvious that this man has zero business being a cop can you use because you got to go to the hospital yeah so you're just saying that I have to go to the hospital chest pain chest pain can you yeah even after I loosen up yourself yeah or the Chester do you think it's just fun drinking I you know I listen to us but I just want you to say something either by listening to see if you feel better by the time my chest already hurts man you don't want me to listen to this yeah I do okay turn around no my chest hurts so you just want to go straight to the hospital yep all right moving your feet can you open the door sir sir yeah on the radio what hospital can you call my mom after the foreign on May 30th 2022 Deputy Erickson was accepted into a DUI offender program he was required to complete 20 community service hours DUI school and a Victim Impact Panel on August 3rd of the same year he pleaded guilty to multiple charges including reckless driving alcohol or controlled substance related Deputy Erickson was eventually placed on nine months probation according to sources he's now being employed as a police officer with the Kissimmee Police Department luckily for the former deputy whoever employed him clearly didn't see this encounter why why huh what do you want to know I'm just curious I'm just listen man I'm just trying to make conversation because obviously I'm there I'm never going to go back to this profession so might as well [ __ ] make the most of it right do you like midnight yeah it's 2 to 1 30 in the morning
