Oh, no. >> [laughter] >> Yeah, uh trying to get um a locksmith nowadays. Yes. There's not very many that do it, and those who do charge a butt load because they can. Yep. And like, we live Me and my husband live in the neighborhood, and we share cars, so I was like and all everyone I know is at work right now, so I was like I guess there's no way I can go back and get my other Do all the buttons on the door work? Is that where you're from? No, well, it's where my husband's from. He's going to start law school there, so I figured might as well just go to the police academy there. >> [panting] >> That way I don't have to like get recertified and everything. That's true. I mean, it would have to definitely, I would say, get certified in whatever state you're going to stay in. >> Yeah, we'll be there for like 6 years, so Yeah. >> [laughter] >> Cool. Mhm. Hold the unlock button down, but it doesn't It don't want to unlock. Probably going to set the alarm off. >> That's fine. I figured it would. Hey, hallelujah. Vehicle's driving without its headlights on, but no tail lights. So, it's causing a safety problem for people on the road. He's not very visible from behind, so we're just going to pull him over and let him know. 736 10-39. 10-4. 78 and Blake, kind of silver Chrysler 300. 28 is alpha two Yankee six X-ray alpha. 10-4. Hey. How you doing? I'm doing good. I'm Officer Now with the Yancey Police Department. The reason for the stop tonight is you guys are driving without your tail lights on. Say that to the driver. You're driving without your tail lights on. You got your headlights on, but your tail lights aren't on. Oh, so what? All right. I got you. You give me one second. You know your driver's license number by chance? I know it start with 958, but I don't I don't know the rest of it, though. All right, that's fine. Can you spell your name for me? Uh D E V I O N. Last name? All right. All right, I appreciate it. Just go ahead and hang tight for me, all right? I'm not going to give you a ticket or anything like that, so you ain't got to worry about it. 736 10-27 returns Devion current negative showing possible probationer. 10-4. All right, I'm going to let him know. All right. Like I said, no ticket. Yes, sir. Um You got your lights on now. Uh yeah, I just turned them on. I got you. I got you. All right. You guys go ahead and go go ahead get home and be safe, all right? >> Yes, sir. You too. Enjoy the rest of your night. We got a suspicious character call. Basically, someone left their vehicle in the calling party's driveway and then started walking off. So, we're thinking potential stolen vehicle. Sounds like Officer Docker might have made contact over here at QuickTrip. So, we're going to back her and uh see what we have. We have another officer checking on the vehicle. 31 23. Hey, stay here. Okay, but I don't want to be on camera. Okay, well, you're not free to go. Uh okay. Can you please hurry up? Hey, just literally here. Hang tight right there. Kansas 190 Robert Just don't move. I'm not going anywhere. 10-4, 29 there. What's the deal? >> Stay here. I don't want to be on camera. What's the camera Okay, what Well, you're on my camera. I'm That's my car. Hey. Hey. They're pressed. So, that's your car? No. She might be. I mean, it is, but I wasn't the one >> Hey, don't dig in your purse. I'm just getting something. That's it. >> Well, then we can see what you're Let me Yeah, don't reach in your purse. So what? Just stand still. You're parking in random people's driveways and walking away from a park. Does that seem suspicious to you? Cuz it does to me. It does to the person that lived there. Do you understand? I literally got out of the I literally got out the passenger side. I mean, are you just nervous because you were driving and then you only have an ID or what? >> No, I'm literally just trying to go get my baby. Like, she's literally about to leave my baby. My best friend's daughter was watching him. I'm literally just trying to go get him and my kid. That's Okay. do. You're not on probation? girl. You don't think you have any warrants? What is your plan What do you mean? What's your plan to get it out of the driveway? We got We got to pull it on the street or something. It's literally running hot. I'm literally like Yeah. We're going to go get my baby first. Like all right. Okay. They can I'm sorry, but Well, it's illegal to leave You It's illegal to leave the car in the driveway. >> passenger. Literally, I swear to God I was the passenger. I'm never going to tell you I wasn't when cuz that's not my place, but I literally was the passenger. I'm not even playing. When she seen y'all pull up across the street, she said I'm getting out. Like I'm not even playing. I literally was the passenger. What have you taken tonight? I don't take anything. I'm sorry. I don't do drugs. I'm You're just a little like really hyped up It's cuz I'm trying to get to my baby cuz I know what can happen if she leaves my baby by herself. You don't want to know. Okay. So So, the the deal is that if you're parked in their their space, they can have your vehicle towed immediately. >> tell my daddy to move it. Right now he's in this parking lot somewhere. I just I just seen him. He's in the go-kart. >> Okay. Find your dad. So, we're on our way to go look at the vehicle real quick. Sounds like they're going to try to move it out of the driveway. She doesn't have a valid driver's license, so I think she's trying to have that male in her vehicle move the car. Uh we're going to go assist just in case there's an issue. I would want to drive and three cats sitting right at the bottom of the driveway where I was just driving. You know, I hope she's starting that cuz that She is going to go big. Nobody should pull out. All right. So, she said that she had overheated. It's more likely she was driving her vehicle without a license, saw Officer Zanker sitting there, and decided to walk off. Um her mom came and moved the vehicle. It's out of the way. Um it's not stolen, and she didn't have any warrants, so everyone gets to walk away today. This gentleman here kind of drifted over the double yellow line and then failed to signal a lane change. He's pulling into the bank here, so we'll stop him here. 34, I'll be 45 at Harry Clifton. Yeah. Go ahead and pull forward. He wants to pull forward to get out of the drive-thru here, so we're going to just let him go up here, and we'll speak to him on the other side of this. Harry Clifton, go ahead. 3802 Adam Henry Union on a black Toyota Camry. Hi. What did I do? Officer Jansen with the Altus Police Department. The reason I'm stopping you is cuz you were going west down Harry, the double yellow line, you had almost half your car over it, and then you failed to signal into the turn lane there. So, I was just checking to see what's going on with you. I was going to the bank. Okay. I got things on my mind, I guess. I I'm usually a pretty good driver. Well, you have your ID on you? Well, if I don't have it, I'd I'll give you one. I got two of these. One for holding the money, and one for holding the Oh, okay. But, I got a backup. You got a backup? Uh photocopy? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Give me just a second, okay? I'll be right back with you. Okay. We got a paper copy of his physical driver's license. So, can't see the photo. We'll pull up his photo and verify it's him. And uh we'll send him on his way with a warning. Mr. Yeah. Here's your ID back, okay? Just try to make sure we're staying in our lane and signaling our lane changes, okay? For sure. Have a good day, okay? You too, thank you. So, we were dispatched to one of our uh local Walmarts. Uh one of our off-duty officers who uh works at the Walmart needed some assistance uh because he currently has somebody in custody. Um and we're going to help him transport that individual down to our jail. Me and my partner are here to help assist him with the arrest, and uh so we're splitting up duties. Uh my partner is going to take the arrestee down to jail, and it seems like he has some property that needs to be submitted. Uh so, we're going to take that property, and we're going to take it down to our property and evidence and submit it. That way when he gets out of jail, he'll be able to just walk across the street and be able to obtain that property back to him. 16 your case number is 9985999859. So, right now uh we're at our property and evidence building. Um and I'm currently uh submitting the evidence that the officer at the uh Walmart gave me. So, we're going to go ahead and bag all this stuff up, and then um once we're done, we'll just submit it, and then our uh property and evidence employees will take it into the back, and uh it'll stay there until our uh individual gets out of jail to come pick up his uh his backpack and his bike. All right. So, we're >> [snorts] >> pulling into one of our local RV parks. The RP is a manager advising that an elderly female's RV is broken down, and they gave her two free nights to stay and get it fixed, but in a sense she has been overstaying her welcome. And now she is from what I've gathered doesn't have the RV fixed, and is just being belligerent towards the staff. So, the staff would like them to leave, and um pretty much just leave the park now. So, we're going to go ahead and make contact with the RV owner. Hopefully, they've gotten their RV mobile, and can just go ahead and drive on out of here. But, if not, it's going to be a little bit of a sticky situation for them. 71. But, where is 72? I believe it is the bus. 72. Yeah. Hey, how's it going? They've been here logged in for 28 days. 28 days? 28 days. Okay. We have asked them repeatedly that they needed to leave, that they weren't extending anything. This one of my officers. Okay. They at first were really nice, saying, "Okay, we'll see what we can do." We find out their rig isn't working. They said, "Okay, we can get it fixed." Mhm. We extended it one day, gave it to them for free. It just conked. Friday night and Saturday night. And we told them, "Look, you need to be off the property. The rig will be safe here if you want to, but you cannot stay in the rig if it's not running." Yeah. She needs to go. >> And And when When was the last day they were supposed to be here? They were The last day they were supposed to be here was Thursday. They were supposed to be >> Thursday. Okay. So, Thursday. Yeah. And then you guys gave them a 2-day extension for Friday night and Saturday night. Yeah. The fact that the rig is not working. Okay. She said she gave us the sob story that the insurance company was going to come out and fix it and everything else. Granted, yes, she has had a couple of companies out here trying to get the rig started. It won't start. But, they have a Range Rover that I know runs, and I said, "Look, we were told by the hotel and RV manager you are not allowed to stay on the property." So, then I said, "Look, I'm done arguing with you. I was out here earlier. I read her the 207-200, and I told her, "Please don't come back." She came back anyway. Okay. So, I'm done. I'm not going to fight. I'm not going to get into it with her. And is your guys's contract month by month? Is that how that works? >> Month by month. Okay. And I am not going on your TV show. What are they trying What are they trying to do? They just want her gone. They said they She's overextended her stay. They had a 1-month contract that they did. Um they gave her 2 days of leeway, and then uh she was supposed to be out of here by uh She's been here a month already? Yeah. Okay. I've been here 3 months. The paper you're given the day you check in says 6 months. The maximum stay is 6 months. Would you please turn those damn cameras off? Okay. So No. I am Your motorhome broke down, right? >> now with Best Western trying to secure a room. Okay. Tonight. Okay. Before midnight. What are you going to do with your What are you going to do with your motorhome though? They told me repeatedly we could leave the motorhome and the car >> Here? Here. Is that your car, too? Yes. Okay. Until we get it running. Okay. So, what is Best Western telling you? I haven't been able to get a human that speaks English over there yet. You could literally walk across the street there. Oh, yes, I can with my cane and everything else. So I'm going to call a taxi when I get a room. Is that I mean Well, I'm saying because you said you can't get a hold of I'm saying because you said you can't get a hold of someone who speaks English. Uh the front desk person there speaks English. I'm saying >> No, she doesn't. Well, I'll walk across the street. No, she doesn't. And there's no manager there, either. Okay. So, if I called them for you right now and get them on the phone, would that help you out? So good, what are you doing? I was trying to give you options, but now I understand you don't have the money for the room. I'm calling my daughter. >> Where's your daughter? She's in Seattle. Is that any of your business? Well, I'm So, how is she going to get the money to get a room? Oh, you don't understand how that works. Here's the Here's the situation. No, I'm not I'm not standing here listening or in your cameras. I'm not going on TV for you guys. Is she like causing issues? Like what's going on? Yeah, she's been very verbally abusive with two other tenants or Well, not to the other tenants, but to the staff. She like goes in there? She was. She's no longer allowed in the casino. >> Yeah, we can trespass from the casino. Yeah. Yeah, I don't know I already already I already told her she wasn't allowed in the casino. She's not allowed in the hotel. Okay. She's been verbally abusive with front front desk staff, me, Yeah. the assistant general manager, Okay. and a couple of the other guards, and our director of security. Okay. Yeah. So, as a duly appointed representative of the owner of Saddle West, I hereby warn you that you're required to vacate and not return to land or building located at the Saddle West, right, the casino, okay? Your refusal to leave and a subsequent return after being duly warned will subject you to immediate arrest for trespassing. So, just don't go in the casino, okay? Or the hotel, right? >> No, in the casino >> or the hotel, correct? The Saddle West. Okay. My husband Okay. My husband was here Uh-huh. when they came for uh the security Yeah. >> wellness check on them. That he had They hadn't seen anybody. This is what he was told. Okay. All right. >> anybody in our bus for 3 days, which was I've been in and out every day with those crazy dogs. No, I get you. Just make sure you don't go in there, okay? I don't want to see you get in trouble, all right? All right. So, just wrapping that one up, we made contact with the casino management, and also the elderly female. Casino management does acknowledge that she was here for an extended period, and uh she's saying 3 months, casino saying about a month, but they're not sure. They have to look in their records, so it could have been longer than that. And based off of those um details, they are going to have to file for an eviction. It sounds like they already have somebody here that takes care of the eviction process and everything. The elderly female wasn't really too cooperative. She was um confrontational with us, and it sounds like she could have been confrontational with them. So, they did end up trespassing her from the casino and the hotel, so she can't go over there. But, um they're going to have to get her evicted out of the RV park. She's claiming that she's going to file a lawsuit and all kinds of stuff against them over this incident, so it's all a civil matter at the end of the day. And uh hopefully she gets her RV back up and running and gets on out of here that way um she can get out of here, casino staff's happy, she's happy that she's gone, we're not getting called, and everything will be simple. This is Deputy Diaz on the recorded line. Oh, okay. That's getting changed. Deputy Diaz on the recorded line. Hi, Deputy Diaz. Uh yes, she can record this. This is constant farce. We are at Saddle West, and your deputies were still here earlier. Uh Okay. Um the management here has been sort of generous. We were paid in full, and we were staying on campus tonight. Yeah, they we were supposed to be out of here 2 days ago, but our vehicle would not start. So, they ended up comping us because we have had numerous uh people out here that are working on getting it started, and we've been repeatedly told until today that we can spend the weekend and Monday get somebody out here to fix the bus. Now, all of a sudden this evening they're over here trying to trespass us. Yeah. So, um it sounds like So, you're not trespassed from the actual mobile like home part, the RV part. Um they just trespassed you from the from the casino, the casino hotel area. So, you can't like >> not going in there. Are you kidding? You can't breathe inside that place. Right. No, yeah, as long as you don't go inside there, like you're fine. If you stay where you're at in the RV area, you'll be okay. So, I thank you, Officer Diaz, and I wrote your name down. >> Here, Diaz. I watch you on Cops on on uh US Cops all the time. Oh, yeah, that's me. You're a great guy. I appreciate that. Thank you, sir. Well, um there was just a little bit of a disconnect there. I think she thinks that the trespass was effective after midnight from what I got from it. Um I clarified that the trespass is just for the casino and the hotel area. The rest since on that previous call we did, um advised that it is an extended stay for them being there at least a month. They're going to have to go through the eviction process, which is a civil issue, so we don't get involved in that. We just get involved in the criminal trespass, which is only for the casino and the hotel. So, I think that's where the disconnect was, and I reiterated that to her, and um it sounded like she was receptive, and and now was more informed of the actual issue at hand. So, she says she's not going into the hotel or the casino, and it sounds like they're trying to move RV parks and get their RV uh started, and that way they can just get out of there. They don't seem too happy there, which I don't blame them with all the drama that's going on. So, hopefully they can get that started and get on out of there, and life will be good. So, we're going to do a welfare check. Um they haven't talked to their foreign party hasn't talked to her their granddad in about a day. His phone is off, isn't working, and apparently the whole family's been trying to check His birthday was yesterday, and just nobody's been able to get in contact with him. So, we're going to go over there and see if we can uh make contact with him and make sure everything's okay. Is it this one? Hi, do you know where 481 is? Yeah, it's right here. Awesome. Thank you. Yeah, he's way down there. I see him. Hi, Sheriff's office. Huh? It's the Sheriff's office. What? It's the Sheriff's office. I'm Deputy Dagler with the Sheriff's office. What What? I'm Deputy Dagler with the Sheriff's office. I'm here to do a welfare check. Somebody They said they haven't been able to get in contact with you. You want to go to the office? You want to come out and talk to me for a second? I can't hear you, man. Hello. Hi. So, Dominic said he called. He was trying to get a hold of you. Dominic called? Called us. Cuz he can't get a hold of you. He wanted >> Called the police? Yeah, cuz he said he couldn't call you. You weren't answering your phone, so he's concerned. Huh. But everything's okay? Yeah. Need medical attention? No. Okay. I'll just give him a call. Call Dominic back, all right? >> All right. awesome. I'll get out of your hair. Glad everything's okay. Okay. Thank you. >> You're welcome. So, it turns out he was actually okay. Um clearly hard of hearing, so maybe that's why when maintenance showed up they weren't able to get in contact with him. I told him that uh his nephew called and wasn't able to get a hold of him, so he's going to give him a call. I'm also going to give him a call and let him know what's going on. We got somebody with a gun right now. He's running through the desert. Can somebody get me a dog? 10-1. Uh we're trying to get there as quick as we can. It's over by where we had that call last night with the angry lady and the guy who lived in the trailer. I think it might be the same guy. 19-2, can you give me a 10-20? Black hat, black shirt, black pants. Maybe not. 10-20, 10-28. Black shirt, black pants. Okay. So, he's barricaded up in the trailer right now. Um we'll probably end up going to be I don't know. It it depends. If he's committed a crime that needs that warrants him going to jail, then we'll probably going to sit on the house and end up making entry into the trailer. What will happen is we probably will uh have SWAT come out just because there is a firearm involved. Um but then again, I mean, it's it's our shift, so we might not. We might just sit there with the shield, which we have in the back of the truck, and and do it ourselves. So, yeah, we'll see what we'll see what's going on. Yeah. 10-1. 19-2, are there any other doors on this RV besides the one I got covered? >> [snorts] >> 19-2, I copy. I find no no other doors on either side of the motor home. Let's go. You want the shield? Uh hey. Over this way. What do you say? KEVIN, IT'S THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE! KEVIN, sheriff's office! Figure out everything that's going Kevin, we know you're in there! I'm putting you on the main line. >> [music] >> Kevin, the lights 910, you came in well. Making announcements. 10-1. Kevin, no one got hurt yet. Let's let's keep it that way. We can figure all THIS OUT RIGHT NOW. I see no movement inside. What? I I wonder if he's hunkered down in the back. He probably is. I got no movement inside though. Kevin! We'd like to make sure you saw this matter peacefully. Come out with your hands up and face away. 910, all units we're falling back to the street. We're going to shut down. Car, you first. Go. I'll cover you. I got you, if I got you. Car, go ahead. I got you, Car. Move to your left. Ryan. Car. If you can, try to assure you coming out. Uh so the call originally came from this a gentleman that he was waving a gun around. Deputy showed up. Uh deputy showed up and our PC was resisting. That's it. So um which is essentially a misdemeanor. Uh my guess is the my guess is the uh higher-ups didn't want us to the risk for the the risk for the crime wasn't wasn't worth it. That's I'm pretty sure that's why we pulled out. >> [music] [music]
