They may be old, but their crimes are fresh and officers are hot on their trail. Here are five cases when evil grandparents get hunted down by cops. Number five, not your typical checkout. Grandparents leave hotel in handcuffs. Police respond to a call from a hotel in Florida after reports of a couple causing a disturbance at the bar. Here's what happens next. How are you? You guys call? Uh, yes. phone call. And actually, the one gentleman, I don't know what room number they're in, but I saw the one guy walk by out by the pool. Hey, my name's Russell. I'm the one who called. Okay. So, my wife and I were at the bar inside and some individual came in and the bar refused to serve him. There was two couples. They moved. One of the guys moved. I can introduce you to the guy. He moved down one seat and then uh he started giving him. I said, "Hey guy, just take a breath. Don't worry about it." And then he came over. He put his hand on the back of my neck and he said, "You have a problem?" I said, "I got no problem. Take your hand off the back of my neck." He says, "Don't tell me what to do." And then that's when we called you guys. And then he just kind of walked off. Uh, well, they had to pull him off of me. The hotel staff. That gentleman was with him, right? The guy that was No, no, no, no. The guy right there. Wasn't he with the the couple? I think he was. That's That's pull him off of me. Can I see the back of your neck real quick? Yeah. Well, I'm not a [ __ ] That's that doesn't mean anything. I understand what you're saying. Trust me. Do you want to do anything about this or no? You want to be the victim of this or So, this is when I wanted I didn't realize you were going to send four or five of you. I apologize. Right. My brother's retired from the state patrol in Ohio. I'm a retired battalion chief from Cincinnati. I'm not a Right. You just can't walk into a bar and do that kind of understand. Nobody here is saying that you are. I'm just saying, you know, when somebody calls, he's here somewhere and if he he needs to understand he can't go up and grab somebody by the neck in a bar. So, I'm assuming if you want if you want this done, we'll try to talk to security, figure out where he's staying, get him off and talk to him. Yeah. Yeah. Exactly. Does that sound good? Yeah. All right. Well, do you want to point to me? Actually, the bartender can give you a He saw the whole thing happen. Okay. If you want, I'll meet you over there in a second. All right. Thanks. You guys know what room stand? I'll take it if you want. I don't know what room is. Like I was saying, the the one guy that was walking down there with the little purse on his hand was with the couple, but they got him there, went up, but I don't know which room they're in. So, you said who knows that? I'll show you where where he's at right now. Moments later, the officers confront the couple in question. Yeah, I think that is it. Yeah. She has a red shirt on, right? Yeah. That's That's I'll take it. All right, he's going to run. Better stretch. Hello. Hello. Yo, please stop. Hello. Hey, I know you hear me yelling. Come back here and talk to me. Come back here to the property. come back here and talk to me real quick. Did you guys go in a fight earlier or something at the bar? Fight? Was something happen at the bar? Yes. Yes, that's probably you. All right, let's go back here and talk on the property. Um, somebody What's your first name, buddy? Do me a favor. Can you take your hands out of your pockets? I appreciate it, man. Where are you from? Iowa. Iowa. Okay. Do me a favor. Turn around that way. What did I do? Turn around that way. Put your hands behind your back. Put the palms of your hands together. What did I do? And the other guy goes, "Uh, so I got mad at somebody." Are you serious? And so long story short, the the issue is that he put his arm around touched he grabbed the guy's he grabbed the guy's what the guy said. He went like this. Oh, I'm sorry. I'll buy you a drink. The guy didn't like that. He He's stupid. He's being funny. It was if he wanted to hurt the guy, he like he's I don't doubt that being funny. I don't doubt that. But he was being funny. It was It was funny. I swear to God I got I I swear to God if we go there, people will go it was not being like me. Well, the problem is you can't put your hands on people that don't want to be have their hands put on them. That's Well, the guy that moved over goes, "No, it's not a big deal." And the other guy goes, "Yeah, it's a big deal." And then my husband goes, "Oh, we'll like went over and he goes, "We'll buy you a drink." Like that. The man is located and detained quickly. He doesn't resist physically, but seems confused about the arrest. And he goes, "I'm going to dial 911." And then we go, "Okay, we'll just go home." Like, we'll go somewhere else. Where you standing there? Over there. Wait, wait. I want his bulb. Wait, can I have his bill? We'll we'll we'll get there when we get there. Just We're going to walk back over to the property. Oh my god. And then we'll give it to you. Sorry. He's like, I'll call you all. The guy goes, I'm gonna call 911. And he's like, and then the guy goes, we have to make you go up to your room. And I'm like, all right, babe. We got to go. Yeah. We went up to the room and then my husband goes, "Let's go somewhere else." Do you want to phone and then Yes. Yes. Is that for good luck or what? And that's my puppy. He just died like you're uncomfortable. I'm sorry to hear that. So we're grandparents of 30 seven. All these grandparents. We are grandparents. We buy everywhere we go. We buy every I'm telling you, we just spent almost $300 across the bridge, came over here with people, bought them drinks, went over, ask him if they could move over one. And the guy goes, "Oh, yeah, okay." And the other guy is like, "I think that's really rude." And my husband's like, "Hey, come over." He went like this. He goes, "I'll buy you drinks." Oh, like he's like, "You're putting your pants on me." And I'm like, "Babe, I come over here." Apparently, and then you said, "Don't touch me." And your husband said, "You don't you don't tell me what to do." So, that's kind of that's kind of an issue, you know, whether he was joking or not. That that wasn't translated very well to the to the other guy. And that's that's why we're here. So, I don't even think he's being charged with the battery. I think it's it's more of a disturbance, like a disorderly. The wife believes the entire incident is taken out of context and insists her husband was only being friendly. Officers explain the issue involves putting hands on someone without consent regardless of intent. Like talk to your dad, which is why the I wish you would go talk to that guy and see how he's aggressive. Well, so here's the deal. It's not cuz my husband's like, "Oh, but he he was going to bite everybody at the whole thing." Come out. Listen. Come out. At this point, it's not even him. It's the hotel that they have to go with the guy, right? Hey I'll buy you guys. And he goes, "I'm sorry. We have to go next." Do you have your ID on you? Yes. She might be going too. Why? I don't. Can I have your ID, please? Yes. Uh, I don't have it on me. It's in my room. Where Where's What room? Where are you staying? Um, 8:17. What What What hotels are you saying here? You staying here? 8:17. Probably not anymore. I didn't I did not do anything. I swear to God. So, we have Marcus and we have another friend that or uh Marcus. Are they stay here, too? Um what's her name? And but they could tell you we weren't doing anything. I swear to God. And they're they're staying at this hotel. Yes. Yes. And they're going to like we left and I swear to God. You're not supposed to have that off the property, actually. Well, are we still on the property? That's from Shepherds, right? That's a shepherd's cup. No, it's from here. We left here. They gave me that. They gave me that and I left with it. Like, they gave me the drink and and we went up to the room and I'm like, "Babe, should we go get something to eat?" Cuz we came here to get something at our um place, dinner place, because we've been here. It's an amazing place. And I wanted their um so our friends that were staying here were there and they witnessed the whole thing but that help. Okay. Like all right. She becomes emotional and tries to explain that neither of them meant any harm. She also says they were planning to leave quietly but things escalated too fast. This is like fun. I I didn't do anything to anybody. That's stupid. I didn't like What would I do? I don't know, ma'am. All right. I'm I'm going to He knows the story, not me. No, I I got witnesses. I have witnesses. So do I. I just interviewed a bunch quicker. So, I have witnesses that were with us, Dee and they live they they're here and they were there with us. Okay. That like just talk to them or whatever. Do you want to tell me what you did and what you said? Huh? Do you want to tell me what you did and what you said? I didn't say anything. Okay. I said honey, let's go. We are leaving. Do you have that where you're at? Do you have like the video? Cuz I have witnesses. I swear to God they're upstairs. We left when there was that. I I swear to God. Stop swearing to God because everything you're saying is contrary to all of the people at the bar and all the staff here. That's not what happened. So stop. I swear to God what said. And I'm going to bring people down here that were right next to us. Okay. I swear to God. Like I don't swear to God. Stop. I'm a grandma 13. I'm a great grandma of one. I swear to God. Turn your camera off. Don't forget. Bring the camera. Please. Please. Please. Please. I'm going to bring these people down. I'm going to bring these people down. They're at the hotel. Right there at the hotel. Do you understand you're not in charge? Why are you leaving? How I do my investigating? What? You understand you're not in charge of how I investigate this? No, I'm just I'm not. I'm just trying to tell you what happened and that's not what happened. So, stop lying to me. I don't want to hear it anymore. The woman continues to insist that she did nothing wrong, but the staff gave a completely different testimony to the officers. Okay. Can you tell me about that? You're instigating a fight, calling people. I did. Uh-huh. Okay. I'm going to tell you I did not do that. Okay. Well, they all said you did. They're not drinking. I'm going to tell Okay, so you're going to go over there and talk to them and then say I said that cuz that's not any kind of words that I would ever say ever in my life. I swear to God I would never say that. I would never say say that ever. And I'm going to get the people that were upstairs come down and swear that I would never say that ever. You got anything else? Cuz they said No, I'm going to get the people that come down here to swear that I never said that. I swear I DD, will you come down and tell the police officers that I wasn't swearing at them and my husband like trying to beat them up? We We're right in front of the hotel. Thank you. So, hold on. Excuse me. Hold on a second. I would never do that. So, here's the thing. What? You're not in handcuffs, right? So, don't argue that. Okay. We have enough based on our Meanwhile, an acquaintance of the couple arrives and comes to their defense. We have enough. Hi. Hi. I'll talk to you. What's going on? Um, no. We literally had just walked in and uh it was four of us and we're just trying to sit down. I mean, we met the parents. Um, so you you don't know them? You just met them since you got here? Yeah. Okay. Met them. Yeah. Um, we just came back from somewhere and we were just trying to find four seats and you know just bought a bunch of like random one two seats at the door and just she just they just asked like, "Hey, could you move down and see all together?" Then that's how it happened and um they were I mean they were just talking and saying stuff. I mean um like back and forth. You saying? No, no, no, no, no. It I mean we we got him down. He said okay. I mean he didn't seem happy about it but he didn't say no. You know what I'm saying? So if we didn't feel comfortable, we could have said no. Correct. Um the guy next to one was uh they were talk just talking. They were actually talking amongstel talking amongst himself and the guy down below was like, "Hey, um he moved down for you. What else do you want to?" Like he kind of had an attitude. The guy that called the police. So the husband just came up to him like you you know like if you were like to say, "Hey bud," like, "Hey." Yeah. And was like, "Hey, look." You know, that is the problem. That's the He just put his hand around said, "Hey, well, you know, that type of thing." It wasn't like aggressive. It wasn't It was nothing like that. Literally. Yeah. Go ahead. Literally nothing. Like he tried to be aggressive towards him or he didn't try to like do anything harm to him. He just was like, "Hey, bud. You know, it's it's not that you know, my wife just asked for him to move down." And I mean, just even me just sitting here trying to So like you you're saying he was just trying to communicate like, "Hey, we weren't being rude." Yes. Exactly. That was all it was, you know. And then the guy was like, "Well, 911." And then we were like, "Oh, no. It didn't need to go that far whatsoever." Whatsoever. He just said, "Hey, hey, bud. You know, my wife was just trying to ask you to move down. You know, that's smashed him in his face and put his hands on me if I wasn't working." There was no, it wasn't. Put your hands on me when I'm not working. I'm not calling the police. I'm handling myself. She insists the man wasn't aggressive and was only trying to deescalate the situation. Yeah, that was it. Literally, I'm sorry. That's all that happened literally. So it wasn't no like arguing back and forth. There was no there was literally no that's why that's why when he did that he he said I'm like and that's when he he grabbed his wife and was like hey this is what he's doing so I think we should leave and then that's when they were like you know it wasn't like I think it was very taken out of context taken out of character very you know it's just literally just like a six-year-old couple that was just down there hanging out just chilling on been drinking a little bit and they're kind of whatever He was just like, "Hey bud, you know, hey, my wife just asked you to last." And now it's all of us literally. That's all of us. I hear you. So, I appreciate it. Yep. But exactly. Are you saying me and my husband were right here? You're in a separate room from them. Oh, yeah. Yeah. They don't even know. They met since Oh, yeah. We met them down here. They're great. They're cool. Literally, I I don't I think it was very taken out of context that that's not what that's not what it was at all. Literally, you just said, "Hey, you understand in the state of Florida, doing this and punching somebody in the face is the same crime." I think that's what we're I have a lot of friends, I mean family and everything. But I know it's ticky cuz I have a lot of a lot of friends and family that are police officing people though, like just cuz you want to. You don't, right? I'm assuming. Especially when they tell you to get your hands off of me. You don't. And and the issue is I'm not sure. Listen, I wasn't there, so I don't know. But the other party is kind of shoot them. That's what I The other party is saying things like he said, you see, it wasn't the last second like, "Hey, just ask that." And that was it. And just kept moving. So, let me ask you this. When when you saw he saw all of it, right? Me and my husband. So, when the when he when he put his arm around the guy, did the guy say, "Get your hand off me?" Officers worked to figure out whether this was just a misunderstanding or if the man truly crossed the line. It wasn't a lot of conversation too. He wasn't here. It was just literally like, "Hey." And so when he said something, he's like, "All right, well, this is not what it's" and walked away like this is not he didn't cuz apparently no the guy Well, it's when he realized that's what he wanted. He was like, "Okay, let's go." And he said, "Let's go." That's what it was. Well, I guess I guess it was said that I think it was very the other party said, "Take your hands off me." And he said, "You don't tell me what to do or I do what I want." Or some something to that effect. And it's kind of I don't know. I wasn't there. I just know one side of story and his side of the story cuz I was there. So I was definitely taken out of context. I think that was definitely extreme. I don't doubt it. It seems like it seemed like it was because for me to touch you like this and then punch you be the same equivalence. I think that's crazy as a I mean that's just that's my suggestion. Florida. Welcome to Florida. You know. Yeah. Crazy. The definition. What does uh Charlemagne the guy go say all the craziest people coming out all of Florida and something else? N but you know what the case is though with that though. I don't get it. I don't get it. Oh, they're kicking her out. Ouch. Yeah, sure. Well, thank you. I appreciate it. Yeah, I definitely definitely taking out context and taking too far. I don't doubt it. Here we are. The hotel, sir. That's crazy. Crazy. Thank you for uh your story. I appreciate it. So, what I will tell you is I know you I I know you booked what? Five days here. Yeah. There hotels everywhere. You can literally go right across the street and for they they're not going to refund you for tonight, but they they they should refund you for the rest of your stay. In the end, hotel staff decide the couple needs to go. The woman is officially trespassed and instructed to collect her belongings. You got to call. You got to call. Yeah. You'd have to call corporate. See if we both on somebody and like they were hurt or happened. There was not. There was somebody. Well, ma'am, you know, unfortunately, I wasn't here and all I know is the two stories that I have. You You got that story though. I got your story and I got her story and I got You got other story. like whatever like to take the police or whatever and to be like this. I get it if there was like something big, but there wasn't there was not something I think you guys should actually be doing. I think the lesson here I think the lesson here is you just can't touch people just because you want to. That's that's you should like put your hands on somebody and like hug them and go like it sounds like it was more than that. Again, I wasn't here so I don't know. Did you like look at the video? I didn't like all looked at the video. My husband was like, "I'll buy you all during to pull over." And the guy was like, "Oh." And like he was and we're like, "All right, we're leaving. You all made us move over." And we're like, "All right." And we all just went to the bed like, "Did you?" Yeah. I was like, "That's what I said. Nobody touched nobody." I can tell you somebody like we're 817. 8:17. We have to move to a different um hotel. Okay. Cuz my husband had a confrontation with one of your um people. Gotcha. And then they got called in even though So, we just need to need to check you out here. Rather than simply comply, she refuses to cooperate and starts arguing with officers. And all my stuff is in my room, so I can't go. I have to go to my room to get my purse and everything. Yeah, you said you said, man. Yeah. Um, so I have to go to my room to get all my stuff cuz I don't even have my Christmas. And then just to be clear with her, she's being charged for today, not the additional days. Correct. Correct. Yes. Just for So, how do I get in my room? Cuz I don't have my Are you guys going up with her? We're going to go up with one of your staff. Yeah. Okay. I'm like, sorry. Let me Hey, by the way, my decision can change. My decision can change. Let me get my under. My decision can change. So, so drop your attitude. Stop swearing down here. Get your things. Wait, did I swear? Yeah. You said it's ridiculous over here. What did I say? If you keep arguing with me, I have an easier solution. Did I swear? Did I swear? Yes, you did. I'm telling you to stop. Stop arguing. Get your things and let's go. What did I say? You're now trespassing if you refuse to get your things. Get your key and get your things. Did I swear at you? Yes, you did. Get your things. What did I swear? If you I'm Did I swear at you? That's when things take a turn and fast. I did not. I did not swear. I did not swear. Stop. You didn't get another charge. I I didn't say here. I would have went upstairs, but you can't say I said a naughty word. Stop fighting against me, man. All right. Yep. 61 does. Now you got another. Stop fighting. Get up. Stand up. You just got another charge. Stand up. That hurts. Please stand up. 58 years old. Thank you. Stand up. Please. I don't swear. I didn't say nothing to you. Now you have a resisting arrest charge. I Why? Cuz I couldn't walk. Because you're pulling away from me. But it hurts. It's on my camera. Oh. Oh. Oh, good. Oh, good. You're ash. Like I'm swearing now. Yeah, I finally said a naughty word. You assh I didn't say anything. Stop. Oh, I didn't say anything bad. I didn't even say a naughty word. You [ __ ] Can I ask where somebody's staying to help them mess up the their friend is up. She's going to jail. I mean, that's fine. I'm just saying that their friend like get her phone to call her friend that's up the street that can She's She's an adult. She I appreciate it, but she can handle it. In the end, both are placed in handcuffs and escorted off the property, facing charges for trespassing and resisting. No idea. Listen, you did do something. That's for sure. I wouldn't be making this. Ask him what his problem was. I That That's That's illegal. You can't put your But I was doing it nicely when I did it. You know, you saw the video. I didn't If I walked up to you and put my arm around you nicely, does that make it okay? Well, I would call the cop on you. Well, listen. I listen. I wouldn't either. But that's I can't tell somebody not call the cops. Right. But, right. Can I tell somebody? Yeah. But, you know, there's some common sense in life, isn't there? I didn't do it. If I if I can tell people to use more common sense on on the calls I go to, I would. But I mean if if I done something we all have jobs if if I did something to him I would understand that way just for a second. But if I did something I'd understand this. I didn't do nothing to that guy. I just asked him what his problem was cuz he was mouthpie. I was like dude we asked him to be down. It's not a big deal. And I put my armor on him. I said you okay? And he goes you got 3 seconds. I took my arm off. You saw the video. I took my hands off him. I understand it. It doesn't change. Listen, there there's some things that are out of my hand. There's There you go. [Music] This is amazing. I pull my I was around a guy and asked me what he was doing. This is the craziest thing I ever did. I know this has nothing to do with you, but I hope you never put your arm around anybody ask them what they're doing. I don't think I will. Yeah, they probably done it. Officers then search each individual and secure them in separate patrol vehicles for transport. Illegal. Well, I mean, I'm born and raised around here, so I know how Florida is. I'm wearing a t-shirt cuz it's not it's not my What? I I mean, go ahead. I don't see it. Could you make a request for the walk up my go? What is your problem? And now he's standing. Give me a ticket. Send me on my way. come up too. I'm over with a gun. I I don't know the case or anything like that, but what the guy said, give me one second. Just hold still for a second. You come up. Give me one second. Give me one second. Sorry about that. What? No, you're good. All right. Go ahead. Step up. Do you think he meant no harm or did his actions go way too far? Drop your take in the comments. Number four, feisty grandma tries to battle cops during hotel ejection. Police are called to a hotel after reports of an elderly woman refusing to leave the property. The issue starts when her dog accidentally gets out of the room and she's locked out for 20 minutes. The woman who claims the situation is misunderstood refuses to open the door when officers arrive. Here is what happens next. Santa Fe Police Department. How's it going, Miss? Depends. Which side are you on? I don't know what that means. Uh, but here's the deal. Okay. So, I spoke with the guy downstairs. Um, and then I read the information that you provided to dispatch about them letting your dog out. Um, regardless of what occurred, whether you believe they were rude or they believed that you were rude. Okay. We're not really here to dispute any of that. I didn't I'm sorry. I did not let my dog out on purpose. That was an accident. Okay. I need you sit in the hallway. I am busy packing. I'm getting ready to leave. You need to open the door. He came to take my stuff out of the room. You need to open the door. I'm not going to open the door. Sorry. So happy. Let's get going. Okay. When I'm done packing. I'm not done packing. This is bring me the stuff that I can put my stuff. It's right there. Is it okay? Can you bring it in? I'm short of breath. Do you want to check my pulse? I don't need to check your pulse if you need an ambulance. I don't care to check my pulse. I can call an ambulance. I'm not a medical professional, but I can call an ambulance for you. I have been treated very cruy and rudely. Finish packing your stuff, please. So, we can get I can't because I'm sure. If you don't pack your stuff, then I'll pack your stuff and I'll call an ambulance for you. Officers explained that she must vacate the room, but she resists every attempt to speed up the process. That is not the only option. Those are the only options. Those are not the only options. So, I can call you an ambulance. They can check on you. While they're checking on you, I can pack your stuff for you. No, you're not touching my stuff. Then you need to leave and package your stuff. I'm trying. I have been working my So, go ahead and start packing. Not right now. I'm taking a short breath because my pulse ox is low. Okay. Snider, come here. Get you an ambulance and I'll pack your stuff for you. Snider, come here. How old are you, ma'am? So I could get you an ambiance. Know your business. Spider, come on. If you refuse to leave, I'm telling you, you're going to I'm not refusing to leave. I'm refusing to finish packing right now because I'll pack your stuff for you then. No, you will not. Don't come close. Do not touch my stuff. I will sue you. You can sue me if you want, but we need to get going. Do you understand how I am? I can call you an ambulance, but we need you to leave the property. Okay, this is you know do you know how grateful that makes me feel instead of listen I don't want to fight with you I don't want to argue with you I have a job to do my person listen to me okay fine I have a job to do okay that's your job they no longer want you on the property so I have to ask you to leave okay they've asked you to leave multiple times you have to leave their property as I was getting ready to get them something nice and say I'm really sorry because there is stuff there's medicine activity in my brain and I was going to say I'm sorry Listen, darling. Don't put your hands on me. Gentle gentle touch. I'm being very I had the the waitress knocked at my door. I opened the door. The dog ran out. Ran into the room. I got locked out for 20 minutes. They left me locked out. I hear you for 20 minutes. I'm sorry that you feel that that they were rude to you, but they need you to leave. Excuse me. I would like my purse. Thank you. There's no reason for you to be so aggressive. There is a reason for me to be aggressive and they've been nothing but mean. Eventually, they tell her they'll help pack if needed, which she strongly rejects. She doesn't want them touching her belongings and threatens legal action if they do. I need you to pack your stuff.
