They brought kids into the world, then acted like they didn't exist. Here are five cases when dumb parents forget they even had kids. Number four, cops catch Walmart scammer trying to flee with her child in the car. Some parents just don't think this one tries to scam a Walmart and then makes everything worse by turning it into a police chase with her baby in the car. Instead of just facing the consequences, she jumps into her car and speeds off with her baby sitting right there in the vehicle. Okay, vehicle is in motion. She's in the vehicle. He also advises there's a a bunch of stuff in the back. She did try to steal shopping cart stuff at the store. Although she didn't make it out with it, she's headed towards Gifty Lane through the lot. Hi 1484. Guys, come here. Come here. What did I say? Come here right now. Turn around. Face that vehicle. What are you doing? Put your hands behind your back. What did I do, sir? Well, is there a car with a cop car with lights on behind you? Yeah, I stopped. Then why are you popping out? I didn't see you. I'm sorry. Don't lie to me. You just said you stopped. Oh my god. That's why I stopped right here. I just got freaked out. Sorry. I have PTSD. Please calm down. These two people were following me around in the store as I was walking out. I left my car and ran out here. I'm sorry. Stop moving. Sorry. Please stand up. My son's right there, sir. Yeah. Sit right there. Can I please check on him? He's fine. Did you put him in the car seat correctly? No, cuz I was trying to get away. I was scared. Get away from what? These two. I even asked one of the girls everywhere I went in the store. I noticed that they were walking around following me. And so I freaked out. This your purse or your bag or what? You go through everything. I don't have nothing to hide. Sorry. Is this your purse or your bag? That's my diaper bag. Your ID in here? I would have to look, sir. I'm not going to run. I swear to God, I'm running out. I have PTSD and I freaked out and I ran out. Sir, I'm sorry. That's it. I left all my groceries I paid for and everything in the store. He's crying. Sir, please can I check out him? Please. You can see him from right here. He's crying though. Let me go. Babies cry. He's sitting fine. He's got his bottle. Babies cry. Is he on you? No. Don't don't don't reach it outside. No, guys. My son is really upset. Please. Everything Everything is in the store. Are these sewn shut? Your pockets? Still I'm not sure. Do you have anything in your back pocket? She's taken into custody and the baby is removed from the car safely. All right. I didn't steal nothing. I didn't steal nothing. Why put her in your car? What am I am I going to jail? Well, we're going to figure out what's going on. Can I talk to somebody, please, and explain to them what happened? Yeah, hold on. Put me in a car. We're putting you in a car because you already kind of take took off on me already. That was not what I was trying to do. I was trying to get out of here cuz I was scared, sir. Have a seat. That's it. Everything is in the store. Have a seat. Hi. Oh, where'd your bottle go? Here's your bottle. Oh, you want your bottle? Let's put you in your seat correctly. Okay. How about that? But we put your seat belt and everything on you correctly so you don't wiggle it around. I know you don't like it, huh? You don't like it. I know. Stop. Come on. Put your arm through here. Put your arm through here. Put your hand on there. There you go. That's a good boy. Figure out how to do this. What? Yeah. You want to finish putting that one on? She It wasn't He wasn't in the seat. So, putting it on him. Yeah. I just want to make sure the kid doesn't get around outside the car. So, I'm going to go talk to loss prevention. He's talking to her. She's going to get charged for that, too, cuz she threw the kid in there and then took off. I haven't ID her yet. She's She gave him some information. So, go over there and try and get her ID. All right. Do you have a driver's license through Ohio? Yeah. Am I going there? Like I said, we're going to figure this all out. Had to make sure to put your kid in the correct seat cuz he wasn't buckled in. I'm really not seeing what. Yeah, there's a bunch of junk in her car, but I don't think any this thing's I don't think that's from I mean that's a bag of clothes, so you know there's not a lot of police make sure the baby is okay while they process her arrest. It's another case of a parent who clearly doesn't have their priorities straight. See if there's actually going to be a charge out of them. Well, they said they wanted a trespasser. They wanted to trespass her, but you know how they are sometimes. I go down um kind of find out what he's saying or she saw me, took off, tried to cut through here. So, I swung in behind her, threw on my lights right away, and she tried to get out when she saw that she wasn't getting away from me. She threw it park, ran around to I don't either to take her son and run or to buckle him in because he wasn't buckled in. And I popped out, told her to, you know, basically turn away from me to get up against the car. And I was yelling at her. So, I hooked her up and she said that she was being followed and that's why she ran. I don't know if she went past point of sale or if she was going to, right? But the way she's talking, she made it sound like she ran out with the card. So, I just got to make sure she got past that. Okay. Guessing she has some prior. Hello. Hello. So, basically, she walks around the store, collects a bunch of stuff, um, rearranges everything in the cart, hides some of it. She gets it in a selfch checkckout. She pays for one or two items. Then she uses a fake barcode to scan a couple things. Leaves a couple things on the cart and doesn't scan them at all. Proceeds through selfch checkckout. She tries to stop her at this set of doors. She goes to the far set of doors, makes it into the vestibule. They're trying to stop her. She goes back in, ditches the cart, and leaves. So, she made it past all points of sale. Yeah. Twice technically. Yeah. Yeah. Has she had any of this in the past here? I know you said I don't know. Her name searcher. Okay. It's stone. Snow. S O W. Did she just spell it? Normal L I S O N. I just wondered. She's probably going to go cuz she tried to take off on me. The kid wasn't buckled in. Just I think when she was getting pulled over, she realized that that's why she jumped out popped out on me. Oh, she jumped out of the car, too. No, she just left the kid when she No, she was coming around the So, either she was trying to grab the kid and go or buckle the kid in. Did you I didn't hear Did you have them run to his prior? Not yet. Okay. I just wanted to double check there was going to be 400. I'll get call Miranda or her. She wanted to officers work with Walmart staff to investigate the woman's attempted shoplifting getaway. Okay. And then she's being followed around by we'll try and figure something out for the kid. Yeah. In my opinion, she needs to go with the kid like taken off like she did on me and the kid wasn't even buckled in asleep. Um and then so whoever takes her, I don't care who takes her. I can take her. It doesn't matter. If they can drive up here to the door, stop for a second, just put down the window. They're gonna serve her a trespass paperwork that say she's not allowed to come back and then we can throw it in her property and then she can go. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, we'll work on figuring out the store, but they can pop outside to serve her. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, we'll bring her up back. See that she was trespassed. But she's stolen from you guys before. Yeah, that's good enough. Yeah. She also had a inactive warrant, too. So, okay. Even if she didn't have Yeah, that's fine. Fine. The biggest thing is going to be the kid, right? That's going to be the issue. But we'll try and figure that out. She's going. We got to figure out the kid thing. She's been She stole from them before. Hasn't been trespassed. Okay. I really don't care about what her story is unless she admitted to it. She She admitted to it. Yeah. Paranoid Pete or PTSD and goes through Harvard, can't take her anxiety pills, medication. Yeah, that's that's all a lie because she she basically she covered stuff up in the cart and then used a fake barcode at the sales checkout to scan some items but not all of them. Um she doesn't have any family around here supposedly. All right. Well, I guess the kids going to JFS. We'll see. We'll see how quickly family comes up. Okay. Thanks. And where are you from? Who can we release your child to? Nobody. There's nobody. Sir, you need to come up with somebody. Am I getting arrested? You're going to When confronted with the charges, she refuses to take responsibility, insisting she's innocent. You're getting multiple charges. Yes. For what? Multiple charges. You're getting You're getting charged for the theft. And you're also getting charged for child endangerment. Child endangerment. What? Yeah. You whipping around here with your kids. Not buckled in. I'm scared. They were following me. So that's a lie. You have it on camera. Cocoon. Listen, call the cocoon. They will tell you I am with them. I have domestic violence issues. Okay. I just got away from the father, sir. I wasn't fleeing. Please don't. I should have them, but I had no I didn't see you. I was fleeing from them. Okay, that's it. I was running from them cuz I was scared. Whoever you were fleeing from, your child was not buckled in. That's why you're getting that charge. Are you staying at the cocoon or have you just had interaction with the cocoon? Alison, you need to talk to me so we can figure out where. As questioning continues, she scrambles for excuses, desperate to talk her way out of trouble. Can I get bailed out for something like this? You potentially could. Yeah, I mean, you'll have a bail depending on how much was the the cost of what you stole. If it's over $1,000, then uh it's going to be a felony. So, I don't know how much. They said it was a cart full. We need to figure this out. Allison, I wasn't running from you. I swear to God. You were running from someone driving like that. Yes. And that's why you're getting charged with that. I don't think right when I'm scared, sir. I even asked them if that's what they were doing. And I said, "I'll go talk to you." I asked the girl over by where you can get the pops and stuff. I said, "Ma'am, please." I said, "Just let me know cuz you're getting me really nervous. I've seen that guy everywhere I go in the store." So when they stopped you at this entrance, why'd you walk to the other one? The guy started walking really fast and then he said something. He said something and I didn't understand him and then I the lady came around like the corner from between the two doors but she didn't just like walk up to me slowly. She like ran almost and scared the out of me and that's when I started running and then I looked back and saw them following me. So I swear to God. So were you scared of them? Is that why you were using a fake barcode to scan items? No. Is that why you were hiding stuff in the cart? Because I just am stupid, sir. Okay. Well, you can understand how you're doing one thing, but now you're telling me that the reason why you took off and didn't buckle your kid into the child seat was for another reason why it's hard for me to believe that. Right. I'm being honest with you, sir. Okay. You can look up how many times I've had to press charges on somebody for domestic violence. I believe I believe that you're a victim of domestic violence. That's not what we're talking about here. What we need to figure out is where we're going to take your son tonight court date and come to court. You're going to have a court date, but you're going to jail tonight. So, we need to figure this out. Are you staying at the cocoon? No. Okay. So, you've just had interaction with him. Can I call the baby's dad and see if we'll take them, please? We We can call the baby's dad and and talk. Does he Where does he live? Is that who you've had uh your domestic incidents with? As officers prepare for transport, they arrange temporary custody for her son. Am I going to get a bail tonight? Like I can get bailed out tonight. You'll have a bail, but I at this point I'm not sure what it is. Once the charges are and the total of the carcass totaled up, we'll figure out what that bail is. Well, I know before we leave here, like before I actually get to the jail. Uh there's a chance. I don't know yet, but you'll definitely you'll get a bail. Name like when you were naming off the guys that have beaten you? I don't think so. All right. Anybody else other than Chris Hunt in case we can't get a hold of him? My mom? No, not my mom. You don't want You're going to keep going to your mom? Cuz I don't want to call JFS. I'd rather cuz basically what JFS is doing. Just call Chris. Get him. All right, here comes the door. Go ahead and step out for me. Can I give him a kiss, please? Just let me give him a kiss. Go ahead and step out for me. Search her cuz I just I just did a a Terry Fris because we're just doing I got to search her real quick. So, if you want to spread your feet for me. I'm so sorry. I get my lawyer's number out of my cell phone, please. Yeah. Your cell phone's going to go with you and they'll let me get the number out of it before they like book me at the jail. Yeah. Yeah. They'll get numbers out for it cuz you'll have phone calls and stuff. I'm so stupid, man. I I do want to apologize. I really wasn't running from you. I swear to God. Like, as soon as I saw the lights, I stopped. I didn't notice the lights. I think cuz you were too far back, but I swear to God. All right. I didn't know. All right. I believe you. Go ahead and have a seat for me. Is there any way I can get his number out before we go to the jail? Because I'm just gonna freak out being in here, man. So, just don't leave me in here too long. Yeah, we'll get his numbers. There's going to there'll be an officer by. So, if you start yelling for us cuz you need the window cracked or something here. Officer that can like sit back here with me. That's what this officer is going to be doing. Can crack the window a little bit if you want so it's not too too cold for her back there. Okay, kids doing good. chilling the whole bottle. Though cooperative, she keeps making excuses, growing more emotional as reality sinks in. She's going to be doing the charges. She'll be prime west. Okay. But I'm just going to have you transport her out to the jail, but I'll just have you go up there. Um, are you are you good with uh us moving your car? If I clear it with Walmart to park it here that you have to come with somebody to come pick up your car, are you good with it staying here or do you want me to tow it? Um, just leave it here. Okay. I'll see if I'll see if Walmart's cool with that. But you're good with us moving it. Yeah. All right. I'm not going to tell it then. You want me to go to Walmart? Yeah. Go up to the the grocery side, the home and pharmacy side. Let uh West set. Yeah. They can come out and then server and then just kind of wait there. That way they can get that started. Do you see a phone? Hold on. I got it. I got it in here. Ah, yeah. I'll double check. Is this your phone and purse? That's all your stuff in here? Yeah, it should be everything should be in there. Yeah. All right. We got to search this. But this this whole thing will go out with water. That green card you just put in there. If I give you guys permission, can somebody give me a water? I just need a drink. My mouth is so dry. I just bought drinks in there and I don't have them now. The stuff that I did pay for, are they going to let me keep? Uh, my guess is they'll just refund it all onto the thing. Anything that was that was paid for. Here comes the door. Search this real quick. This is going to go with her. So, search this real quick. I didn't search it. I just glanced in it. So, you want me to search it? Yeah. Yeah. Cuz you're going to end up transporting her out. Yeah. But this is hers. Okay. That way that way she has all her stuff. Can you double check the if we can uh park this car in their lot and she gets somebody who gets one of us to come with her when she picks it up. They're cool with that. Yeah. I just kind of glanced through it. Um there Well, glad she gave you the heads up. But yeah, let her know that we'll park the car and uh she has to call she has to call us to come out with her to pick it up cuz they're going to trespass her. So make sure she understands that she just doesn't come on the property by herself to pick up the car. Just call us and we'll come. Now she has to deal with the consequences. And hopefully this is the last time she forgets that she's responsible for someone other than herself. All right. What I'm going to do is because we're in our uniforms and driving somebody else's car, we'll stay we'll leave the car here until he gets the kid out, then we'll park the car. Okay. You go with that? That way. I mean, I think we can drive a car, but I'd rather just not deal with it. No. And I I'm just thinking just one of those spots over there. One of those diagonals. Yeah. Just right right there. And then I even thought about the gas station. All right. I'm going to run out to Wes, make sure she knows what's going on. Are you good with the diaper bag going with dad? Okay. All right. We're going to They said it was cool that basically you can call us when you want to come pick up your car, but you have to call us. Like you can't cuz you're going to get a trespass from them. But we're going to park it over there so we're not towing it. Not water. We're about to get you going. There's water out of the jail. Can I have a drink with their one sip? She's literally checking her back seat and we're going to move you back there. Go ahead and lean back for me. Look that way so I'm not up in your business. All right. Go ahead, step out. I'm gonna hold on to you so you don't fall on your face. Go ahead and face that way for me. I know they already checked and nothing in your pocket poke me, stick me, hurt me. Okay, perfect. All right, go ahead and follow me. We're gonna step right over to my vehicle. Are they letting you? Yep. You're very welcome. All right, same thing. Go ahead and have a seat in there. Watch ahead. Same thing. Go ahead and look away from me. The woman was ultimately charged with theft and child endangerment. Number three, police find baby and car next to unconscious drunk mother. Officers respond to a call about a woman passed out in her car. When they get there, they find her slumped over the steering wheel. But that's not even the worst part. There's a baby sitting right there in the passenger seat. The officers immediately check on the [Music] baby. Check anything. All right. What's What's going on? This baby's been in the front seat the whole time. Are you dad or what? All right. Do you know her at all or Okay. What's What's your name, dear? Miss, what's your name? Ariana. Ariana, you got a you got an ID? Do you have your ID with you? All right. You don't have an ID with you or nothing? No, I Come on. Why don't you do a walker? Okay. Is this your car? No. You know what's What brings you over here? No. Come on now. Stop. Keep it moving. What's that? Can you Can you step out for me real quick? No. All right. Well, you're not you're not driving from here. So, what's that? Is this your Where's your keys at? I got no keys. Not driving. Well, how how'd you start? Did you guys take the keys? Not driving. I couldn't So, it was in park. I couldn't find the keys. I tried clicking. I tried to turn it off cuz I thought it was on, but it's not. I don't think she has a key on her. I don't unless they're in their bag or Look here. I We can't have you drive out of here. You're intoxicated with the baby. Listen, listen. Stop. Stop right now. I'm not driving nothing. I ain't drove you through this. I'm a husky. I know, but I'm worried about the baby. Okay. Okay. My baby right here. My baby's right here. Why isn't the baby in a car seat? She right here. I ain't drove nowhere. My baby. She right here. She ain't drove nowhere. She ain't drove. my business right nowhere mind. The child looks okay, but the situation is beyond messed up. The mom, obviously drunk, appears confused and barely able to process what's happening. All right, go ahead and step out for me, dear. Come on. You got family close by? All right, here. Come on, dear. Your baby's going to be fine. We're going to take care of your baby and try to get you right. Okay. I'm good. I haven't told my baby. Come on. Step out for me. I'm just going to have you have a seat in my car till we get this. No. No. Cuz I don't want you leaving with the baby. No. We're not leaving. Just walk with me. All right. You have to walk with me, man. It's not an option. Come on. I want to help you. I'm here to help you. Okay. I'm here to help you and I'm here to help the baby. I just don't want to see nobody get hurt. Why are you bringing I'm just escorting you. I'm I'm being nice. I'm helping you out of the car. I'm not putting you in handcuffs or nothing. Me crying. I understand. You know they going to ask questions about that. I know. I get it. Look. Look. I didn't see you driving. You're just sitting in the car. You're you're a little bit inebriated here. Hang out right here. Fine. Like I said, my main thing is baby and and and you. Okay. I don't want nobody getting hurt. I don't want you doing something foolish, pulling off, and then somebody hits you guys or you hit somebody here, dear. I'm going to have you have a seat right here. Here, turn this way, ma'am. Do you live close by? Yeah. Okay. Have a seat. How old's your baby? [Applause] Okay. My guess is going to be six. So, basically, I'm sure we just saw her here. Not really so responsive. Like, she would move. How to use all your snaps and everything. Pound open bottle in the car in the front seat. No, they just stay here at this house. Just happen to be walking house in. Yeah. Okay. [Music] You're okay. As officers investigate, they discover she was previously reported for suspicious behavior. Someone knew something was off. She's taken into custody and the baby is placed in safe hands. Yes. Do you know who lives there? Do you live there? Here or she's not related to anybody that lives there? Okay. Stop here. Yeah. Real quick, I'm going to read you some Miranda rights, okay? Cuz you are under arrest. Uh you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him or her present with you while you're being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning. If you wish, you can decide at any time to exercise these rights, not answer any of my questions, or make any statements. Do you understand each of the rights I read to you? You do? Okay. Having these rights in mind, can I speak with you about what's going on? You don't want to talk to me? Okay. While removing the baby from the car, officers spot a suspicious substance hidden beneath her. Sarge. Sarge. Oh, they're here. I got back here. I'm testing it. Little beauty. Yeah, I know. It's a shame I didn't test it yet. I'm assuming it's deep. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It is kind of chalky. Yeah, I do. Don't talk to me. Hello. Yeah, you right now. You uh Wait a minute. You just have to open this door. You just Wait, wait, wait, wait. You just told me you didn't want to speak to me under Miranda door. Who the [ __ ] you talking about? This was on your floorboard. do with me underneath right where your baby was sitting. This will be You don't want to talk to me. You already told me under Miranda. All right. Well, then don't speak to me. I want to say somebody I do have test positive. It's turning blue. Yeah. Yeah, it's cracked. I'm going to add that charge and then if they're going to hook it if you don't mind standing by with the baby since you're going to hit Yeah. Listen, bro. And then I'm not I'll call CSB on my way and then I'll call you over the radio if I hear something. You added the baby's name. Yeah. Meanwhile, in the patrol car, the woman grows increasingly disruptive as her arrest is processed. Well, it's up to you. Or or you can wait to see us. I want to get her going because she's just getting Yeah, I'll be in route to the county with the female 13 beginning mileage is number. Miss, you're going to have to calm down a little. All right, do a welfare check. Okay, 1281 copy. I guess there's a gold SUV in the parking lot and kids are not restrained. 173. Your daughter's going to CSB. Yeah, I'm clear. Where do you want me to go? Where's he going? to CSB. Dad don't want to talk to us. He got warrants. [Music] 15. If there's two with me at the counting, that'd be great. Already, if you don't calm down, I'm going to have to restrain you. 15. Go ahead. Yeah. Is there anybody with a rap in their car? Uh, this 13 is kicking and holding cuffs to the front of her body, hitting the window, and being pretty violent. Stop hitting the glass. Imagine being the cop stuck driving with a passenger who won't stop causing chaos. Free 23. I told you to call her dad. 15. Somebody respond. I couldn't hear. Yeah. 11's in Ralph. Where exactly are you? I'm on Arlington right now. Just passing Barrett if they want to with me up the road. I'm on right now. So the run, the short of it, found passed on the car, had an open bottle container or open container. eight-month-old next to her in the passenger seat. Uh, arrested her for child endangering. And then during the inventory, Sergeant Dra found a baggie of crack right where the baby was sitting at like right beneath its feet on the floorboard. So, she's flipping out about the whole situation. Got her cuffs in the front of her being violent. She's on my side. Go ahead. Step out. You got to step out here, miss. 24 24. It's cuz you were hitting your head. I wanted to hit my shot. Get your y through the armrest. Pull it up. Don't touch me. Got to waste all this time doing this when I could have been wearing the car. Shut up. What you mean? Hold on. That's in the car. Did I Did I look up to you? Did I face up? There's supposed to be one right there. Did I anything up on you? act. Her behavior leaves officers no choice. They have to restrain her. She need to be on this call. You all the female locked up here. Police. Get the off of me. I'll sit back up with you. Get your bag and all that back. Okay. The mother is now charged with possession of controlled substances, child endangerment, and having an open liquor container. Her 8-month-old daughter is placed in CPS custody while police locate her two other children and place them with their grandmother. Number two, teen mom's poor choices catch up to her. Police respond to multiple reports of a woman wandering the neighborhood with a baby, damaging property, and attacking people. Here's what happens when police arrive to intervene. Did you call police? Yes. What's going on? Um, our neighbor that lives behind us knocked out our back window. Okay. Um, everybody's in the back. I was asleep whenever it happened. They just came and woke me up. You know why they why they not back here? We back here. Stay right here. Yeah, she did all this and she went to my house. Who's she? The girl who lived right next door to me. She went to my house and tried to break into my house and everything. She tried to fight me. So I got bruises and everything. She got cuts and stuff all over her leg and everything. She had a baby in her hand. I live across the walk and I've seen it myself. She bust open her window. So that's why I came over here. When I came over here, she attacked me. So she went to my house. She's at her house. So if y'all want to go see her, she fallen and back it up a second. She lives and the first she has a one-year-old over there. She was asleep. This is my daughter's apartment, but I work and she was sleeping in the bushes. She was asleep. She was sleeping in the bushes. She was asleep in the bushes. Woke her up. I'm like, "You have a a couple over there, a one-year-old little boy over there. You need to get up, pull yourself together, and my face pushed me. I just walked in. I shut the door." She's like, "Oh, you want some?" And then busted out the glass. Okay. Okay. How did your foot get cut from the the She busted the glass? How did she bust the glass? She punched it. Is she bleeding? Yeah, she fell all over her face and everything. She in here in her house. She probably She tried to attack her. She did. She attacked me. She tried to attack me. She tried to bite me. What are you guys' relationships? Who? We neighbors. We neighbors.
