They told me I was fine long as I had the report, but he was driving my car. >> Why would you run? >> I don't the police officer. >> Despite her claims, the officers don't buy her story. They note that no one else was seen leaving the vehicle and she's the only one who exited before fleeing. I do not mess with police at all. I don't I got five kids. I don't mess with >> Here. Here be a thing. >> I don't mess with y'all. I'm sorry. >> When you when you when you run from the police, that's bad. >> You know what? >> You just comply with us. >> Guess what? I'm And I'm a young female by myself. >> I don't mess with the police, sir. >> I don't care if you're a pregnant woman Facebook. I don't mess with the police. >> I don't mess with >> I just watched a girl two days ago. >> That's fine. But I >> that's here in Poria. Had nothing to do with the police. >> It did. I can say whatever y'all say. >> That's just the truth. >> So I stopped the car. Pretty sure she was driving cuz I didn't see anybody get out of this. And the center consoles flipped up like she crawled in the back. Keys are at her feet. Her purse is in the back. But we get her out and it's just like whatever. And so I go to like look in the car. Does she say something else to She takes off. chase her around the houses and catch you in the alley. I was like like even if you were driving like you have valid license. >> Yeah. I'm lock it up and put your keys in your thing. You remember where you parked your car? >> Okay. >> That's not even That's my car, but they were driving it. So, I'm going to put I'mma lock it up. I'm going put your keys in your bag. I'm going go out with you to county when you bond out. >> I have extra key. >> I'm going to put the key in your property bag. It's going with you out to county. >> Okay. >> I'm going to lock the car up. Put the key with you. Put your wallet with you. >> Your car is going to stay here. >> You would have just left here with a warning. All you had to do is just leave with a warning. But just >> don't run. Don't run. >> They just killed my brother. So, you got to understand. >> You want your flip flops? Give me a second. >> No, I'm not. I don't mess with you or the police at all. They just my brother. I don't mess >> Who did >> in Ottawa? He was And they were white. I don't do that. >> I literally just watch them. >> Huh? >> And you say that, sir? But they just took me to jail pregnant for something that I didn't do. And because I filed a IIA report. police department. Let me go. >> Like I just told you, that man was driving the car. Y'all got better people that y'all could be getting. You'll know. Okay. >> That's who was just driving my car. >> And And you're going to jail for running from the police. >> She told me she's like, "I parked." >> She said, "What?" >> She said, "I parked." I'm like, "Oh, you parked." She's like, "No, never mind. They did." >> Whatever, lady. her. >> In the end, she's charged with fleeing from police. Number four, she wanted VIP treatment, got handcuffs instead. Police pull over a woman after observing her swerve between lanes and make a full circle in a residential area. The officer suspects she may be under the influence and begins a DUI investigation. >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Hey, I'm Roon. Um, I stopped you because you've been kind of drifting off in your lane a little bit and then we did a complete circle over here. What's going on with that? >> Everything okay? >> We did Well, we were kind of arguing about something. Yeah. >> Okay. Who Who's in the ship? >> We live right here. >> This is my husband. >> We live right here. >> We live right here. >> Okay. Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. >> This is my husband. We sometimes >> we've been here for 25 years. >> All right. Cool. >> We're very We're very good friends with the mayor. >> We went and had pizza. Nice. Okay. And do you guys have insurance for the truck, too? >> Sure. Grab that real fast for me. I'm out of here. Okay. Okay. >> All right. Thanks. >> Hey, Susan, I'm going to have you hop out real quick and come talk to me back here real fast. Real quick. >> Okay. >> All right, Susan. So, um, in speaking to you a little bit here and and watching your driving, I kind of feel like you might have had a little bit to drink. Okay. Um, how much would you say that you've had? >> I don't know. Um, >> like all day? >> Yeah, all day. >> Maybe four. >> Four. What are you drinking? >> Just two. >> Do you like beers, tequila, vodka? What kind of stuff we drinking today? >> Captain and diet. >> Captain Diet's. Okay. >> It's my thing. >> Okay. Right on. Okay. So, I said with with the driving and the uh the general mannerisms, I feel like we might need to do some some roadside testing real quick. Are you okay with doing that? >> I'm good. >> Okay. I'm going to shut my lights up so they're not blinding you real fast. And I know they're they're kind of they're kind of extra. >> I have hooded eyelids. >> You have hooded eyelids. >> Hooded eyelids. I need to get some cosmetic surgery on that. >> Okay. All right. Um, do you have any any issues with your legs, knees that would affect your ability to walk? The officer immediately administers sobriety tests. Let's see if she's willing to take on the walk and turn and whether she performs better than she did on the eye test. >> I have >> a menopausal. >> Okay. Well, yeah. >> So, my hips and my knees, everything hurts. >> They hurt a little bit. >> Everything hurts. >> Do you walk without a walk or can >> Yeah. Yeah. I don't I don't need anything, but I hurt. >> Okay. I'm going to have you do is go ahead. And I'm going to have you put your left foot on the line and put your right foot in front of your left with your heel touching your toe. Okay. >> Oh god. I can't do this one even when I was like >> I'm going to have you just stand just like this. Okay. I'm going to explain to you how to do it. You don't know the test yet. >> I don't even I couldn't do that when I was a kid. >> Okay. So, I'm >> I failed ballet school. Sorry. Got you. I'm going have you stand just like this until I tell you to begin. Okay. So, foot in front of the other with your hands down at your sides. Okay. Right foot in front of >> Right foot in front of left heel to toe just like this. Okay. >> You tell me when. >> Yep. Can you get in that position for me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm going to have you stand just like that. Okay. Till I tell you to begin. Okay. So, when I tell you to begin, you you you notice the line down the middle of the road here. Okay. So, whenever I tell you to begin, take nine heel totoe steps down this line. You're going to make a series of small steps, turn around, and make nine heel totoe steps back. Okay? Your size the entire time. You're going to count your number your your steps out loud. When you start the test, you're going to keep going until you're done. Okay. Um, and keep your keep make sure you hit heel to toe every time you take a step. Okay. You understand everything? >> Yeah. But I had a bad toe, so I'm going to not >> You don't have to actually hit my toe. >> You want to get it close as possible. Okay. >> Okay. Ready? >> Yep. Go ahead and begin whenever you're ready. >> So, nine. >> Nine. Correct. >> One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. to rest. >> Things get even more tense when the officer starts asking her to recite the alphabet. >> All right. So, I'm going to have you go ahead. Um, you're actually good right where you're at if you want to turn around and face me. Okay. Oh, it should be on a nice nice level location. Okay. So, I'm going to have you put your arms down to your sides, feet together, just like we did for the eye test. Okay. So, when I tell you to begin on this one, I want you to do is let >> No, wait. >> Yeah. You stand right there. Just Yep. Just stand in the middle of the road. >> No, we're watching for you. Okay. So, just make sure you keep your hands down at your sides feet together just like this. Okay. While I talk to you about this, arms down at your sides for me. All right. I tell you to begin. I'm going to have you lift either one of your feet. Doesn't matter which. About 12 inches off the ground. You're going to point your toe down at the ground. You're going to count 1 1,00 2 100 4 10. I can't do that. I can't do that on any diet. >> You can't stand on a what? On your foot. >> Have you had >> I have not had menopause. I can tell you that. >> And my hips ache. >> Okay. >> I can't do that. I can't even get out of my chair at work. >> Okay. Do you want to try it for me or do you want to skip this one? >> I want to skip that. >> I get out of my chair and it takes me about 12 steps to go. I got this. >> Okay. Uh, let's do one that doesn't require any leg movement. Okay. You I speaking to you, it seems like you know the English language pretty well. Correct. You can you can recite the alphabet for me. >> Um, >> just don't ask me to recite it backwards. I have a learning disability on that. >> No, I couldn't do it backwards regardless of what the situation was. So, what we're going to do is I'm going to have you begin at the letter F as in Frank and we're going to end at the letter B as in Victor. So, you're not doing the entire thing. We're not going to sing it. We're just going to say the alphabet from the letter F as in Frank to the letter D as in Victor only. Okay. So, go ahead and begin whenever you're ready. >> F G H I J K L A N O P Q R S T U V. >> Okay, good. >> Despite showing some willingness, she frequently protests that she can't do certain things due to physical limitations. The officer listens and adjusts the tests where possible. Whenever I tell you to begin, we'll have you stand again. I know it's getting redundant, but we'll be together when you make me do that. >> So, whenever I tell you to begin, I'm going to have you tilt your head back just like this. There's the stars. I'll have you close your eyes. I'm going to have you count to what you think is 30. Okay? Whatever 30 seconds is going to pass, count in your head. Don't count out loud. Whenever you get to that 30 seconds, I want you to tilt your head forward, open your eyes, and tell me to stop. Okay? So, I'm going to time you on the clock. Whenever you feel like 30 seconds has passed, just tilt your head back down, open your eyes, and tell me to stop. Okay, >> got it. >> Got it. Okay, so I'm going to have you go ahead and stand together, head up, eyes closed, and I'll tell you when to begin. Okay, I'm just counting in your head. >> Okay, >> ready, begin. >> I looked because I thought you might have left the Catholic school girl. Sorry. >> You just focus on your camera. Sorry, >> I'm at 30. >> So, we're at about 40 seconds. So, it wasn't too terrible. Okay. So, >> because I I opened and I thought I was cheating. Okay. >> It's a Catholic school girl. >> Okay. >> I'm like, sick here. I'm going to have you wait just right here for me. Okay. All right, Susan. So, here's the deal. Okay. So, based on all the testing and stuff, I feel like you're a little too inh driving a car right now. Okay. So, what we're going to do is we got to run to the police department. We're going to do some paperwork and we'll get you out of there by tonight. Okay. >> Okay. So, I got to put you up. Yeah. >> So, I'm You don't have to do that. You >> need to put them up in front for me. Okay. I'm not going to put them. Okay. >> It's okay. >> Go ahead and put your hands. >> Oh my god. This >> I know there's a stigma behind it, but it's what happens. Okay. The moment she's cuffed, her emotions take over. The officer stays composed and talks her through it. >> Okay. Oh my god. This is the worst day of my life. >> You're all right. I'm not going to be >> Sorry. Sorry. I'm freaking out because I'm >> We're not We're not here to hurt anybody, okay? We're just here to do the job. >> This is really hard. >> I understand. >> Okay. I'm I'm >> Don't freak. >> I am freaking out because this is not just >> like this. Okay. Don't move your hand. >> Okay. >> I don't want you cuz if you move them, they'll get tighter. Okay. >> Okay. Fine. Oh my god. Okay. >> Wait. Oh my god. I'm >> okay. They're made to go. >> Sorry. >> Okay. >> Oh my god. Is there anything in the car that you would need to take with me? >> Phone. >> Well, my husband. >> Oh, I can't. Okay. >> Oh my god. This is bad. >> Yeah, my phone and my >> wallet, keys, that kind of stuff. Have keys. [Music] >> Never been my life. Okay, >> hold on. >> So, here's the deal. Okay, >> I'm going to lowkey freak out for a second. low key freak out for a second >> because >> whatever you Okay, deep breath. Deep breath. Okay, >> so you're under arrest for driving down the alcohol right now. Okay, so we're going to go up to the police tomorrow. We're going to do some paperwork. Like I said, it's not something you're going to stay in the night for. We got to do some paperwork and we'll get you out of here in a couple maybe an hour and a half or so. Okay. We're going to need somebody to come pick you up though, obviously. >> Can I tell my husband to stop asking like he needs to call everybody in town? >> I'll talk to him. I'll make sure he stops. Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah, he's he's >> Okay. All right. So, we're gonna walk back to my car. Okay. >> You're okay. You're okay. We're fine. >> Okay. Hold on. >> Oh god. Grandma and happening. >> I understand. Okay. We're good. I'm good. I'm good. >> Her protests and emotional pleas continue, but nothing she says will undo the consequences of her actions. I know. Everything's good. >> Okay. >> Wait, do I need my phone? >> I'll grab it just my phone. >> I'll get it for you. Yeah, we'll get your phone. We'll get your your wallet, keys, whatever we need. Okay, >> we'll bring it with us. That way you have it whenever you leave. >> Okay, I'm good. All right. >> Oh my god. I think I'm saw me. >> Yeah. >> Okay, >> you're fine. Let's walk right to my car. Okay, you're fine. Just for you. You know this is really bad. >> Oh my god. Okay. Ah. >> Sorry. >> She Okay. You're fine. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I said go do some paperwork. Okay. Let's go back in the car. Okay. >> Dad, I got it at the >> Yeah. We're going to get in the back. Okay. >> I'm going to We're like She was home. >> We're like three blocks from the police department. Okay. It's not going to be long. >> I know. >> Okay. >> I picked up Oh my god. I'm Okay. >> I keep thinking this is a joke. >> Okay. We're good. >> We're good. >> Left side. I don't want to I don't want to mess up. >> You're all fine. >> Holy. >> You've been cooperative with me tonight. I'm going to be cooperative with you. We got to do our job, but we'll get you out of here. >> I understand that. Oh my god. I'm Oh god, it's my future tonight. >> Not tonight. Not for a few weeks. Okay, you're good. >> My brother-in-law's a cop in Atlanta and he's retired. >> He said never get in the back of a police car. >> Well, you don't want to, but on the >> Is there anything bad in there that I'm in there? >> There's nothing bad in there. There's no needles. There's no blood. There's no poop. There's no There's no >> Looks like people have beat the place. They have >> You're not going to make me buckle up though, are you? >> And we should for safety, but I mean it's three blocks if you don't want to buckle up. >> I don't want to. >> Okay, that's okay. >> Do you want to hop in for me? You okay? >> She's in the back seat now. But just when you think she's done acting out, she takes things up a notch. >> Sorry to be freaking up, huh? >> Yeah, it's understandable. I get it. >> Okay. Ew. Ew. Ew. >> Oh, that is horrible. >> Okay, give me one minute. Okay, I'm going to grab your stuff. >> All right, real quick. Uh, >> I didn't say anything. >> I think he was too afraid to tell him they were coming because she was threatening to let his dog out or something. So, we haven't said nothing yet. >> Look, man, I don't want no drama or any of that. >> All right. You got your ID with you? >> You just trying to get his stuff and get his dog. >> Understand? Backup soon arrives to bring order to the escalating chaos. you are being unnecessarily the same or the day after I've been told the rules and all that. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, maybe >> who knows, dude. You just need to calm down. >> So, when I talked to you the other day, I don't know if it was either issued or they didn't tell me it wasn't. Okay. >> What? >> I not want that happening. >> Okay. But it's not your fault. Listen, stop talking. She >> He did not do She came after the cop, dude. >> No. Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> And probably they're all three going to go to jail. Her and her parents, >> dude. What the >> She started that. And they're all getting charged. >> They also have like 25. >> Okay. >> Hello. So they denied entry and we were getting ready to leave and she he's he's like I'll do this later. He walked away. She went and hit him. I went to intervene. She hit me and then mom >> got in between. So her mom and and dad went in the house. So mom and dad got an obstructing charge coming and she's got an egg back to the PO. >> So and then they closed the garage door. >> All of them, right? Yeah, >> right. >> Well, hang on. >> Hold on. >> So, they're not going to answer the door. >> Well, we're going to knock on it. And if they refuse, then that's fine. >> But we got to try. >> So, >> so we have a domestic egg bat. >> We had a domestic cuz she hit him, right? >> Yeah. Well, it was >> Did she hit him? >> She hit him, but I went to It was more of a >> And I went to intervene. So >> nothing else escalated and then she hit me and knocked my mic off my off my vest. So >> is 61 still out at the uh >> I think he was on his way. >> Well, we'll wait for him if he's on his way. >> When the sheriff arrives, the deputy lays out everything that's happened. The mother finally steps forward to speak with the officer and give her side. >> So she hit I can't remember her name. Then she punched hand and then mom and dad took her and ran inside, locked everything up and shut it up. So he wants both of the parents for obstructing and her for domestic battery and egg bat, but they're not. He didn't think they're going to answer, which I would agree. They're probably not going to answer. I'm going to go see if they witnessed anything. Spencer was checking for cameras here real quick and they called 911. So we're get statements from them before we try to make contact with them. >> Yeah. So >> yeah, their whole family is getting arrested except for the kid. >> My daughter >> 131 come that way. Okay, let's come over here. Let's stand over here. So help me understand what's going on. I I wasn't up for I was not here obviously. Okay. So all I did is my officer calling for units in in what it sounds like an e situation. Okay. So, help me understand what happened in your driveway. >> Okay. Came to get stuff. >> Okay. >> They were coming up to the garage. My daughter said he's not coming in the house. The officer is like, "Well, he lives here." She goes, "Not according to his address on his license. It is a Belleville or whatever address. He is not coming in unless you have a warrant. Thank you. Bye-bye." starts >> talking some stuff knowing it's going to off which again you guys are here without somebody from my daughter's mental health why you guys are responding to my house. Okay. Anyway, >> let's focus on talking about what's going on. >> And then so she went to go after. I was telling her, "Stop, stop, stop." I knew what she was going to do. You know, she hit him. Then the officer was coming up to her, >> being like, "You should." >> Yes. And all that was doing was setting her off. And then he pulled out the taser and was going to tase her. I'm like, "She's pregnant." And so I'm in front of her to make sure she didn't get tased. I'm sorry. Yes, I did intervene. I'm not going to let my daughter get tased with my grandbaby inside of her. >> All right. The officer questions her further to clarify the details of the incident. He also confirms that the man had every legal right to be at the property to collect his belongings. >> So, let me make sure I'm I'm following. Okay. When did the garage door get closed? >> When they were standing up there and as I was holding her so she would not get tased. >> Who closed the garage door? >> I you know through it all. I don't know cuz we kept trying to let the officer know she's pregnant. She's pregnant. She's pregnant. Please. But we we can agree that the right move isn't blocking or shutting the garage door. It's understanding that she has just committed a crime. >> Her mental her mental status is not good. >> We're not we're not trying to but right over here that's why she did it because her mental status and I know that's not an excuse. >> I know that's not an excuse but we already tried to tell him just leave and they weren't leaving. >> It doesn't work that way. He's he has by court order the right to respond. He was he was here long enough to be and we're going to talk about that too. Explain this. It doesn't matter what address is on his license. If he's lived here more than two weeks, he's an established resist. He's gathering his stuff. There's an active OP. He's no longer allowed back here. The situation is done. What had to be accomplished today was him gathering his things and that was done. He's not allowed back here. He could be arrested if he came back here. >> What about getting her stuff? And that's what she was trying to ask the officer. >> Hold on. But here's the deal. We can't get to that if we're screaming not allowing somebody to come in when a court order says that he's allowed to come get his property. >> So if she But listen, but listen, if and and we can work on that. But if if >> is engaging and pushing and not shutting up, which is what she's good at doing. We can agree. >> Yes. >> Then she needs to be by you guys removed from the situation and taken inside. And that's >> and then we can have a civil conversation. >> You know what I'm saying? So, she needs to stay away from me. >> And then just like >> honest to God, I didn't have anything. >> Still, the mom just would not accept the officer's explanation. She argues and insists they were in the right. >> He's coming over. It's still his clothes now. >> He came over here for the sole purpose to set her off even more. He called us ahead and said, "This is what we're doing. This is how it this is what I need to do." He had a friend come pick him up. I mean, he did exactly what he was supposed to do. There was an officer here with him before contact was made. That's spot on to what's supposed to happen. And I'm This is going to go off script for just a minute, but I'm going to give you just advice. Just a little bit. I don't think boyfriends need to move in anymore because I've been here for several boyfriends and it's never been a good combination at all. >> I know. I think that's step one in repairing whatever she's got going on. Boyfriends probably don't need to listen. And I know she's got a lot of mental health stuff going on. She's had a lot of trauma in her life. I'm not trying to downgrade any of that. I I am very familiar with with what she's experienced, but we can't use that as a crutch every time. >> Oh, I know. You know, I mean, she and that's probably why he brought the the cop over here >> because she he has to bring the court order. >> By court order. I'll explain that >> if you want to hook her right now. >> I don't think we should if she's It isn't her daughter's strength. >> No, her. Well, so here's the deal. She probably needs to go to the hospital. >> That's what I >> So, that's what we're going to have to talk to him. >> Secure. >> If you want to see if we can go inside >> or I mean, >> let them deal with their mess. >> They created that mess. >> I'm not disagreeing. >> They ran her inside. Let them deal with that. >> I don't know. >> You do two things. You can write her a ticket for obstruction or we can take her in. I don't care. I wasn't here. It's I mean, it's up to you. Well, I'm just telling you blame on anyone else. >> Going to go in there and engage in that. We're not. We don't do that. >> Well, I'm just telling you she's going to fight every tooth and nail and you guys are going to have to You guys are going to use excessive force. >> The cops are clearly fed up. Pointing out this all could have been handled without the drama. >> Not even. >> He was going to tase her because she was fighting him and he was alone. What do you think he should do? >> He sat there and she assaulted just gonna keep justifying. You just Yeah. No, it's not fine. >> No, but I'm saying >> what is wrong with you? >> I'm not saying it's fine. But she hit him once. >> And then you want to go and then she hit me >> cuz you were like right there in her intervening in her domestic battery that she was committing. >> Yes. She was under arrest at that time and now she's looking at a felony. >> She was saying bye-bye. You could have just stepped off, not keep walking up to her. He's the one that ran out to the street. >> She said bye-bye to you first and you kept stepping up into the garage. >> No, he turned and left and then she chased after >> you're going to run your mouth. That's That's perfectly legal. >> All right. >> You're not free to go. >> How? I'm not under arrest. I didn't do anything. You >> actually are. You're under arrest for obstructing >> when you prevented me from arresting her. >> All right. So, she's gonna have charges pending >> and let's go out of here >> because I'm not gonna let my daughter >> too if he comes out >> because I'm not going to let my daughter get tased. >> So, I'm under arrest and I'm not >> I am arrested because I stopped her from getting tased being pregnant. >> Got to stay inside. Watch. >> David, don't you Don't stop. >> You got an arrest coming too. You got You got obstruction. >> Stop. >> Don't >> stop. You're hurting me. >> Then stop trying to pull away. >> Stop trying to pull away or you're going to catch a resistant. >> Then stand up. >> Problem. You >> stand up. >> All right. Do not understand that. >> Stand up. >> It hurts. >> Stand up. in my head. >> Even as she's cuffed and led to the patrol car, she keeps shouting complaints all the way >> trying to help. It hurts. It is too tight. Cutting off my circulation. It hurts. I'm not spinning around in there. >> It hurts. It hurts. Please, I'm not going to fight. It hurts. >> I can see it's loose right from here. >> It hurts. It is digging in. >> They're not meant for comfort. Victory. >> I'm asking to please just loosen it. I'm not going to fight. >> Lose. It hurts right there. >> All right. Sit back. Once I get her in and take off, we'll take off. I just want to wait till >> I just want to make sure he's out done. >> He doesn't He's not Well, he's not supposed to have it. He says he's not got he had his fully car revoked. >> I've talked about a couple of times. This is part of the ups and downs that we've dealt with on every single occasion. Does that door say a sane asylum? >> It sure does. >> I was trying to be nice and come out and talk with you guys. >> Can somebody call my family tell him to take the food off the stove that I was cooking so my house doesn't burn down? >> In the end, the daughter faces charges of domestic battery and aggravated battery on a peace officer. Both parents are charged with obstruction. Number two, power trip ends in handcuffs for this drunk elected official. Police respond to a twocar crash and find one of the drivers sprawled on the sidewalk showing signs of intoxication. Officers approach her and begin a routine investigation, asking for her driver's license and insurance. >> How are you? How you doing? Good. >> Are you all right? Do you need an ambulance or anything? Okay. >> Do you need an ambulance or anything? Let's Let's walk to your car cuz I don't want you to get hit by a car. Okay. Well, I'm a >> Yeah, I see that your car here, ma'am. Right over here. Right over here. Right over here. Right over here. Okay. You start off with your driver's license, please. >> Sure. >> Why don't you have a seat in your car, man? Why don't you have a seat in your car? >> Mhm. >> Let's start off with your driver's license and you proof your insurance. Okay. Yeah, right here. >> Okay. He wants a driver's license. >> Who's this? >> My attorney. >> Your who? Your attorney. All right. You can call him in a little bit cuz right now everything's recording audio video. Okay. But uh you're involved in a traffic accident. I like to see your driver's license and your proof insurance. >> Ask him. >> Okay. He's not driving you. >> Just Just hang Yeah, just hang up, Samantha. I'll be there. Tell him I'm on my way. >> Yes. Yes. She said he said you'll be on your way. >> Okay. Let's start off with your driver's license and your >> I know, ma'am, but I need to see your driver's license to verify you're okay to be driving. And number two, your insurance so we can start the paperwork. There's some damage done to your car. >> I'll wait for him. >> May I tell you that everything is being audio and videotaped? Okay. I'm just saying I'm >> I'm requesting your driver's license and your proof of insurance. I'm sure you can provide me with those two things while we're waiting for your attorney's show. >> I'll wait for him. >> Okay. But we don't have to wait for him. I need >> I need to wait for him. >> Yeah, ma'am. You don't mean to make the same more complicated than it already is. It's just an accident. I just need to see your driver's license. >> I'll wait for him. >> She continues to sit in the driver's seat of a car that isn't hers, claiming it belongs to a friend. When officers verify if the vehicle is insured, this is her response. >> Okay. Ma'am, do you want me to handcuff you and arrest you? >> No. >> Because right now at this point, you're refusing to provide me any >> I am. >> You are. You realize that, right? >> Yes. >> I've been elected official. >> You what? >> I don't want any of this. >> Well, ma'am, you're involved in an accident. You've hit several cars. >> Two. >> So, yeah. I need to see your driver's license so I can start the paper. >> Pulled out in front of me. I >> Okay, great. I'll ask you that in a second, but I already need to verify. This is your This is your car? >> No, it's my friend's car. >> It's your friend's car. Okay. Do you have a valid driver's license? >> I do. >> Okay, great. >> And I have insurance. >> How about an ID? >> I do. >> Okay. Can I see some of those so I can know who you are? >> My attorney. >> Okay. Okay. I'm trying to I'm just trying to work with you here, >> but you're not providing me your driver's license and insurance. >> Nope. And why are we waiting for your attorney for? >> Cuz he's my friend. >> He's their friend. Okay. But he wasn't here in the car. >> This is Officer Fernandez with his 20th district. Whoops. Where are you? >> Uh your client here. >> Your client here was involved in an accident. >> How far are you? Hello. >> Uh, like 25 minutes. >> Okay. I need to see her driver's license and her proof of insurance. And she's understanding that she doesn't have to provide that to me until you arrive. Can you advise your client? >> That is not true. >> That >> I I would be happy to advise her what the law is. >> Okay. Please, can you advise her so I could get this paperwork started? >> I will. >> Great. Thank you. You listen to him. >> Yeah. I know it's undecided. >> All right. So, go ahead. It is by state law. You have to give them your driver's license, your insurance information. >> That's great advice. >> You can then start the paperwork. That is exactly what you should do. And I'll be there in about 29 minutes insurance. >> Great. Give him that. That is >> And you said this is not your car, right? >> No, it's right. >> Do you happen to have Do you happen to know if he has insurance? >> He does. >> Can you go look in the glove compartment for me? >> Despite several requests, she doesn't comply and tries to use her position as leverage. She repeatedly delays, insists she doesn't have to follow orders, and says her attorney is on the way. >> It's a fancy car. I don't >> Yeah, I understand. >> I just need to look at see if he's got insurance. >> You want me to take a look to see if he's got it? >> Oh, he does. >> Oh, there you go. Great. Yep, that seems to be it. I'll be right back. Stay in your car. Okay. >> Okay, Mr. Steels, you can put that away. He's got valid insurance. Okay. >> Is that your attorney still? >> Yes. >> Is he still on his way? >> Can you tell me how far he is? Well, you hear two cars, so we got to give you a traffic accident. Okay. >> Okay. >> And uh I don't know what we're going to do about the car because it's not drivable. Your tire is pretty messed up. It's not going to be allow you to drive home. So, is your attorney maybe going to be able to drive you home? >> Yes. >> And I'll pay for the certificate wherever he needs to go. >> Well, you probably want to let the owner know that you were involved in an accident. Let him know. >> He's my very best friend. >> Oh, good. Okay. All right. So, just hang tight. I'll be right back. Okay. >> I'm so sorry. >> It's accident. People know, you know, people happens. >> Okay. Yeah. >> Mhm. >> You hold that. >> Well, I'm not holding anything. >> Just put it in the dashboard. That's fine. >> No, >> we are not going to hold anything for you. >> I don't need it anymore. You can put it in the dashboard. That's fine. We just need you to step out. >> I'm good. >> Ma'am, we know you're good. We heard you, but you need to step out so we can see if you're good. >> I'm fine. >> Okay. Yeah, I know you're fine. Just exit the car then. >> I don't have to exit the car. >> Yes, you do. >> We're giving you a lot of >> You were You were involved in an accident. You're going to have to or we're going to assist you, >> make you exit. >> So, you better off. >> Are you going to exit or no? >> All right. You need to exit. I will be fine. So, >> you bet all these things. Yes, ma'am. Can I help you? >> Yeah. This is my friend. She texted me. >> Okay. Oh, let's let's walk over here. >> Moments later, her friend arrives and steps in to help, but instead of calming down, she stays combative. The officer breaks it all down for the friend who's just trying to understand what's going on. >> Is she okay? >> Well, we're in the middle of investigation, DUI investigation right now. She appears that she may have been drinking involved in a twoc car, three car accident. >> Oh, >> yeah. That's what uh we're relating at this point now. So, we're trying to ask her to step out so we can do a field so riding test, which is supposed to do to determine if she is or not. >> Yeah. >> And she doesn't want to get out. So, advise her to nicely get out or we're going to have to get physical and bring her out of the car, which is not going to be enough good for. I don't know if you can talk to her and tell her that, you know, just have to step out and listen to our orders. We've been talking to some kind of attorney or friend of hers. >> Okay. >> On the phone. Okay. Whoever this stuff, >> she say she knows you. She say you text her. >> She's my friend. >> Okay. So, exit the vehicle. >> No, I'm not leaving the vehicle. >> Ma'am, if you don't exit the vehicle, if you don't exit the vehicle, >> I'm going to help you to exit. >> And you don't want that. >> You don't want that. >> I elected official. I actually do. >> Elected official of what? Cook County. >> Cook County. You elected with which which office? >> What's your name? >> I'm Sam. >> Sam who? >> Okay. Sergeant, is it okay for her friend tells her to walk out and step out? >> No, she's saying she's an elected official of Cook County. >> I'm on the video. >> Oh, >> you are on video. >> You are on video. >> You are on video, man. >> On video. Yes, ma'am. >> So, you need to >> I'll wait for my attorney. >> Okay. >> Nope. I'm waiting for my attorney. >> So, she's not exiting. >> We're gonna have to make her exit. And we do. >> Okay. >> She is not compliant right now as you can see. >> Does she >> and she say she's an elected official of something? We don't even know. >> Does she need to be compliant at this moment? >> Of course she does. >> Well, I mean, can she wait? Can she wafer? >> Eventually, police warn her that if she doesn't exit the car voluntarily, they will remove her. Instead of just complying, she continues to make things difficult. >> No. >> Well, regardless of an accident, >> even if the attorney is here, there's nothing he's going to tell her. >> She was involved in an accident. We're doing our investigation. And obviously, she doesn't want to, ma'am. Okay, here's the thing. You were involved in an accident, correct? So, you're going to have to exit. If you don't exit, then we're going to make you exit. >> Hey, that car. >> Can you give her a second? >> I think you should do that. >> Second. >> That's all you have to do. >> That's the attorney. You told her you have to exit. >> That's >> okay. Exit. >> You need to get out of the car. >> Yes. Do that. That's all you got to do. And then wait for me. I'll be there in 10 minutes. >> I'm waiting for him. >> Yeah. Yeah. Come out. >> Exit. >> Be careful. Traffic pan. Stay right here. Right here. Don't watch this. Go out. Get involved in the exit. Okay. >> Fine. >> Now you can hang up the phone, ma'am. >> No. >> We're still doing our investigation. >> Okay. Now, tell your attorney, are you going to do field sobriety test or no? >> No. >> Okay. >> Are you arrested? You say no. >> I was waiting for that. I was waiting for that. >> Why do you have to arrest her? >> Because she refused. I asked her to do field sobriety test and she refused. >> And she smelled like alcohol. >> She's been drinking. We can Oh, so you've been recorded all this time. >> You've been recorded. Yeah. >> All right. Okay. No, I >> You want to do You want to do the transport? >> She's under arrest right now. >> Take her my purse. Take her purse. Thank you. >> I'm not going. Okay, let's go. >> Let's hold on. >> On his way. Can Can he go? Can she Can you give him five minutes? >> I'm not that. >> I'm just escorting you to the >> Can you give her five minutes? >> I'm not giving you many minutes. >> I'm just escorting you to the >> Despite numerous chances to cooperate. She continually delays the investigation and insists on special treatment. >> She's not doing the field, so we're not going to be uh Thank you. >> She's been drinking. She's struck bunch of cars. >> Okay. She's struck bunch of cars. >> We're taking you in. >> Come on, man. Let's go. >> Have a seat, please. >> Can we just like >> No, no, we're not. We're going to sit. >> That's why That's You got Uber. You got taxi. You could have done all that. >> Have a seat in the car. Let's go have a seat in the car. >> Have a seat. Have a seat. >> Let me get on your side. >> Have a seat, miss. >> I can't. >> She's in. >> All right. You got a small You got a small wrist. No, we have to >> You want to do the feel? >> You want to do the field? We ask you to do it and you say no. >> You're saying you guys are saying this is a test. >> Oh, I don't feel a siety. >> All right. Come on. >> Give me a chance. >> This way. This way. This way. >> Ma'am, would not mean you imagine somebody crashed. >> Turn this way, please. Sam, >> so you wearing lenses, >> you wear glasses. Do you have them on right now? >> I have contact. >> Can you see me without without Can you see me with them? Okay. You >> I mean, I can cannot see like >> All right. So now, how's your head? >> You have any injuries? Your head is >> You hit your head when >> when I hit the car. >> When you hit the car, did you lose? >> I don't know what good means. So, you want an EMS? You want to call an ambulance? >> Yes. >> You want us to call an ambulance for you? >> That would be good. >> Okay, we'll call an ambulance. >> Call I can do the sobriety. >> You could do it. You sure? Okay. >> No. >> So, >> I want an ambulance. >> Both feet together like this. >> Call an ambulance. Yeah. >> Yes. I would like a >> Put both feet together. I would like an >> She then claims she wants an ambulance and changes her mind, saying she's now willing to do the test. Let's see if the officers will give her another chance. >> You can put both feet together. >> Hands together like this. Like you under arrest. >> It's weird, but yes. >> Okay. >> Just letting you know you're under arrest. So now when we go to the hospital, you're still under arrest. >> Okay. >> Do you know which hospital? >> We don't know. It's whatever the ambulance decide >> this way. >> Yeah, I'm on the >> Okay, ma'am. You cannot uh get too close because she's under arrest. She's in custody right now. So, you can have called you called her attorney. >> This whole week was spot. >> So many people you could you could have called. >> I'm the only person that >> Hey, search. He He's a 501 guy kind of, I guess. >> I'm Sam. >> What happened to that? >> What happened? Just what happened? >> I don't know. It's you. >> I was driving. >> Okay. >> Where were you coming from? >> Where were you coming from? >> My friend. Are you >> not just Yeah, >> it's fine. >> Where were you? Were you drinking? >> No. >> No. >> No. >> Are you uh >> Don't answer any questions according to >> Man, if you're going to be interrupting, they probably haven't said >> cuz you're interfering now investigation. >> Fine. >> So, what what happened just right now here? >> Me out of my car. >> I know, but where were you coming from prior to that? >> They pulled me out of the car. I don't know. >> Okay. Hi. Are you like uh >> did you take any meds today? >> No. >> No, >> it's it's up to you. >> I'll do a test. >> I just want to see if you're like safe to go home. >> You have to submit like a few tests for me. Are you willing to do it? >> It's up to you. I'm not forcing you. It's up to you. No waiting right now. Either you do it. Yes. Simple yes or no. >> The officers decline the offer due to her earlier refusal and proceed with the arrest. You don't want to do it? No. My >> I already have enough to like take my attorney will be here. >> Your attorney's on the way. >> He would like to talk to this officer. >> Okay. >> Your attorney would like to talk to this officer. >> Right behind the ambulance. >> He's right behind the ambulance. >> Okay. Uh you know the she could call at the station. >> So >> does she Did you put her all in the ticket? >> Yeah. Yeah, we got it. We got pictures of everything. >> Okay. >> On the police form. >> Okay. I I It is what it is. I mean, I smell alcohol, so >> it is what it is. You're going to get under arrest for DUI. >> No. >> What do you mean no? >> No. >> I mean, what do you mean no? >> No. >> Wait for my attorney. >> What do you mean no? >> Talk to my attorney. >> But yes, we're going to wait here. >> No, she he could come to the station. She's going to get under arrest first. He's parking his car right now. >> He's not heavy. You're way people. >> You just refused them. >> I want to see the uh >> No, but uh hold on. >> You're under arrest. >> You're under arrest. >> One second. >> You're not going anywhere. >> Under arrest. >> Make sure you come. She has very small risk. Careful. >> Okay. I guess >> because she just wants to be looked at. So, >> oh my god, you guys. >> I mean, it's illegal to drink and drive. >> Have open alcohol in the car. >> Yeah, you got to take her on the clock. >> She just want to be looked at. So, >> oh my god, you guys are >> I mean, it's illegal to drink and drive. >> So, we going to have open alcohol in the car, >> you know. >> Can I go with you? >> Attorney saving the day. >> Oh, he coming right now. >> You got to go ahead. You should see my attorney. >> He's right there. >> He's right here. >> Her attorneys finally show up just as she's being transported. Will he be able to save the day? Let's find out. >> The cops I don't >> Yeah. No, my attorney >> I just got to custody in the >> He refused fuel soy test. >> Bunch of vehicles. Open bottle of wine. >> Got an open bottle of wine in the car. So >> I didn't drink it. It was >> Don't say anything. >> Listen to him. been Miranda. She not yet. >> I'll get to this. >> I can refuse the field. >> I'll get to this. Don't go to an ambulance and then uh they're going to go with her >> traffic crash. I don't know. >> No, this one. Okay. Who's doing this one? >> Regular traffic crash and this then uh I'll do the 50 part. She's taken into custody and charged with DUI and disorderly conduct. Number one, this is the fastest way to get arrested at a traffic stop. A traffic stop escalates when an officer pulls over a driver whose license plate is obscured beneath the emblem of her Mercedes. The driver, a 62year-old cardiothoracic surgeon, immediately questions the stop. >> Are you stopping me because I'm a trans woman? Okay, first of all, I'm officer transer with your Atlanta Police Department. Do you have your license and registration? >> Uh, do I have to give you this? What is the infractions I did? >> That's not how this works. >> Give me your license and registration and proof of insurance. >> Give this to you. I want to know the reason why I stop. >> As soon as you provide the documents I've requested, no ma'am, that's not how this works. [Music] >> I'm at the last >> and I didn't do nothing wrong. Nothing wrong there, man. >> Okay. >> Okay. You just hit me because you saw my face. >> Ma'am, I've never even met you. >> Okay. >> I don't know who you are. Do you have your license, registration, and proof of insurance? I'm going to ask you one more time, and then this is going to go a completely different way. >> You going to arrest me? >> If you would refuse to give me the documents I've requested, yes, we're going to go down that road. >> What is my inflections? I will give you >> That's not how that works. >> No, that's how exactly. >> This is my traffic stop and you are not going to dictate how this is done, >> ma'am. Officer I am not complaining about you stopping me. I'm asking you my right to know why you have stopped me. What is my instruction? I already explained to you three times now. >> I am not going to provide the documents if I did not commit a crime. >> That's fine. >> Period. >> Okay. >> Because you are discriminating on me. >> Okay. >> Okay. Here's my driver license. Just ask your things you're going to give me just to verify who you're dealing with. I'm a very well-known here. >> Okay. >> And I'm going to call Betty Meer right now. >> Why as we're speaking? >> Okay. >> The mayor. >> Why do you have three different licenses? >> Did I just Did you just say what I said? >> I didn't actually. >> You didn't? Because you don't care. See, you don't care about people. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> I'm sorry you feel that way. >> No. >> Can I see your other ones as well, please? >> No, you cannot. It's a crime to have more than one. >> This is not a crime. This is my man license and I'm not going to give it to you. >> The driver continues throwing insults at the officer, firmly insisting she's done nothing wrong. >> Do you have the registration and proof of insurance as well? >> Miss, first of all, I'm a doctor and I I earned that because I study antivics and I save so many officer shot in the chest and I regret it since I met you. >> Okay. I'm sorry that a big stink out of this. >> I'm sorry you felt that way. >> I did not do nothing. Okay. >> You just st me because I was low starting on the red because the guy was telling me that my my tire is leaking. >> Okay. Okay. >> It's a temporary permit. Yes, it is a registration. >> This is a temporary permit receipt. >> The registration comes from the tax >> Why you doing this to me? >> It comes from the tax collector's office. >> Why are you doing this to I live right there. >> Okay. I own a condominium on purview. You make me shaking in my boots for nothing. I commit it. Please stop it. I'm asking you. Please on my knees. Stop it. >> Also going to supervise him. Please. >> You know just just for your record. I'm coming from my husband which is dying. Just for your record. Okay. I'm sorry that I am out of my mind. I don't know if you have a husband or or a girlfriend or whatever you have, but my husband is dying and it's not a lie. Okay? And just happened two days ago. It's on life support. Mercy, peace. >> Okay. Well, again, I've asked you three times for the registration and your proof of insurance. >> I don't know what registration is. >> Okay. Do you have your proof of insurance? >> I do have my proof of insurance. >> Okay. >> I have never been stopped in my life. This is my first time. My first time. Check my records. >> Okay. >> Despite multiple explanations from the officer, she insists she's done nothing wrong and continues to delay the process. >> If you if you want to follow me, please in my condominium. >> No, ma'am. I am not going to follow you to your house. >> You guys stop in our condominium all the time at night. >> Okay. >> We give you permission to stop in our condominium. Fair you ground. >> Well, you continue to look for those documents and uh I'll be right back. Okay. Well, as you can see, her tag is flipped up clearly indicating that there's no way to read the tag. Says out of Missouri, >> I get my driver license. >> Okay. But at no point does it say that we're required to explain anything to you about the reason for the stop. >> I want to be explained. I ask why did you stop me? >> Well, that would be an explanation, right? But why did you stop me? >> I just told you three times. Your license plate is tucked up into your Mercedes symbol. >> Okay. So that is what? Yeah. The Orlando Police Department stopped a cardiothoracic surgeon on his way from the hospital, >> right? Just because you don't like the Mercedes, don't like the face, and my plate discover, which I don't even know because this is a brand new car. >> And my computer's not on. Okay. Are you the supervisor? >> No. No, I'm not. >> This is horrible. It's >> my first time. It's 62 years. I'm 62 years of age. I didn't ever stop for no reason. No reason. I have five cars. This car is brand new and we just ship from from no reason she stopped. >> Okay. No reason. >> All right. The supervisor's on the way. So, So, um, excuse me. >> Yes. Yes. >> I'm a thoracic card surgeon at Advant Health. I'm on call and I've been called from the hospital. My patient is dying. I need to go. >> All we going to do is >> uh, let me go ask her, please, >> please. >> The supervisor arrives shortly after and calmly steps in, asking her to exit the vehicle so they can have a proper conversation. So, she said that she is a surgeon at Advent Health >> and she just said that she got a text from the hospital that her patient is dying and that she needs to respond to me. >> Don't have to wait till I understand. Well, we're in the middle of the traffic stop when it's time for it to be. >> This is a traffic stop. [Music] >> All right. >> Hello there. How are you? >> Fine. >> I'm the supervisor. And is that who you requested? >> Do you want to come out and talk to me in private or do you want to talk in your car? Whatever you're most comfortable with. >> Whatever. I'm good either way. >> I don't even know. It's my first time in life. 60 years of age. I've never been. >> Yeah. Let's talk face to face. >> It's better that way sometimes. >> Nice boots. >> All right. >> Good. >> Are you Wait, are you nights or days now? >> Are you nights or days? >> Nights. >> You're night. Okay. Yeah, that's >> all right. I'll see you, man. >> She's following me from the gas station. So, what else she got? >> Yeah. >> It was a guy, a black guy. >> Okay. next to me very you know and he he he down the window and he was singling on me and I did not pay any attention and listen it just to be distracted. >> Yeah. >> He was insisting there was a red light as you know just >> that's what she started to basically >> follow me like one in behind me. >> Yeah. Okay. And um they so I put down the window and the guy told me, "Look, you're losing air from your >> As she shares her version of events, she starts listing excuses in an attempt to justify her actions." Now, let's see how the supervisor responds. >> Right there, just I I noticed from the front, but >> sure. Sure. >> He was trying to maybe make a contact. I don't know. >> Okay. >> Meanwhile, I already been green light, you know, on the things. Maybe I was 15 seconds delayed because the guy was talking to me. I was talking to him and so she got upset. I don't know what what the story was. So I just took off. >> No speed, no nothing. >> Yeah. >> Very calm. >> And she started to like driving like this close to me. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And I just pushed the brake. I said, "Why are you?" Cuz you know she's got an car. Yeah. Sure. And she just turned the blue light. I said, "What did I do?" Right. >> So I stop in here and she start to attack me. completely. >> What do you when you say attack? What do you mean by attack? >> Attack through a verbal attack. Of course, not not physical. >> What did she say to >> first? I say, "Okay, officer, I'm here." I was still I had a wonderful guy. I said, "I'm here. What did I do wrong? I I will not tell you. You have to give me wrong registration." I said, "Okay, fine. Here's my driver license. Why do you have two driver license?" Which one is my male? I have a full surgery. Okay. I don't have to explain that. >> Sure. Yeah. >> Okay. And I keep it because sometimes, you know, there's my male name. So, there is something >> noted on the driver on the model that you guys can see. >> Okay. >> So, I said that's not your business. Why you do have >> Oh, I can arrest you for that. I said, man, call your supervisor because I think you're very aggressive. >> Yeah. And you know I noticed maybe she start my trans. I have no idea. Okay. What she stud but the old got so pissed off with me >> is because I was just blowing and the guy told me that I was losing air from my I didn't do nothing else. >> Right. Right >> now the guy was just sh I the documentation. I broke the glove compartment because she was insisting put the hands on the gun. >> Okay. >> I'm not I'm not used to this thing. So I understand >> and I understand I have a deep respect for the law enforcement. >> She tries to turn the blame on the officer but the supervisor puts a stop to it quickly. >> I served okay as a man I was you can be myself but I'm still sitting as a but I was in Lebanon. I was everywhere. I have never experienced this in my life. >> Okay. But it is very normal for a sis woman to treat somebody like me this way. >> Yeah. It was like purposely cave tucked right up into that. >> It was completely tucked under it so that you couldn't see it >> on purpose. That happens on accident. >> Correct. It doesn't just flap in the wind and just magically perfectly get stuck underneath there. >> Well, maybe I'm the president of Orlando Filamic Orchestra and this person is treating me like I'm >> okay. >> Maybe I'm overreacting. I don't know. >> I I think I do. I think maybe you guys got off on the wrong terms. So, let me let me let's let's reset it here and just kind of can kind of go back. Okay. So, the reason you got pulled over, I understand it's a new car. You know, you're there's >> you don't have everything situated yet. It takes >> No, I got to document there because, you know, caring the car just arrived yesterday. >> I just put the gas on. >> So, she wasn't able to see the tag. And if she's anything like me, I have I have terrible vision. So, I have to when I'm when I'm trying to read a tag and I'm behind somebody, I have to I have to literally get on their bumper so I can see. >> There was a problem. I was doing an art transplant. I was in Missouri in Colombia at the University of of Missouri. >> And uh one of the fellow shipped, I got this car, we got to get rid of it. So I'll buy it for you. >> Sure. >> No, I kid. I already promised to car Max whatever. Yeah. >> And I forgot because I like the car. I always wanted to own one. But then I left. >> So I bought this car in September >> and and so Car Max did all the papers and then finally I had time for them to ship me the car. The car was shipped all right yesterday. Exactly. Yesterday, Saturday at uh 6 uh 6:25 p.m. >> Okay. >> And so I I noticed that there was a spire, you know, the the temporary dash and stuff like that. I just went to put the gas. You can see just I see it. >> The officer keeps trying to explain the legal consequences, but she talks over him nonstop, refusing to take responsibility. >> Nothing else. >> I don't want you to get hit. >> So anyway, so I I I don't want you to feel like you were targeted or anything like that. And I think I think that's how I think to me that's how it feels. >> She wasn't able to see your tag. That was the reason for the stop. Uh you you actually you actually aren't allowed to have more than one driver's license. That actually is >> it's not a driver license. It's is an ID. >> Okay. >> I don't have any ID at work. >> Okay. >> Yeah. You're not allowed to have two driver's license. So but if it's just an ID, >> it's an ID. It's a state ID. >> And I'm not sure, you know, I don't think she was trying to push that issue with you. I think she was just trying to >> say I'm not saying I'm just saying why we have to start this way. I was very nice. I don't understand that. >> I understand. >> I just don't understand. How many times, you know, you look >> Keep in mind, so she's one of our she works uh if she's attack officer, so she works in our really bad neighborhoods and stuff like that. I know >> she usually deals with a different type of clientele than than someone like you. So you know that I mean I I didn't want to, you know, we have no place to put our hands here. So sometimes sometimes, you know, you have to just it's like a it's a habit. So >> I overreacted because I said, "What the hell did I do? I did not know that the plate could not be seen. >> Yeah. >> Because I just turned the camera and I just broke my glove compartment because she was insisting I just pull it out. I don't even know now what I was talking about. >> But then I noticed that basically the the plate went, you know, with with the air. >> That's all. I didn't know that. If if I would if I had known that, I would have fixed it when I put the gas on the car. >> Yeah. >> I mean, you know, that's the only thing. >> I I understand. I mean, she's I She's doing her job. She's trying to she's trying to you know uh >> enforce compliance with the law and >> I respectfully you know >> I understand that you just got the car but >> I understand I understand that you know there are but you also have to see the record of the person that you stop you know and >> okay >> I mean we can reflections yeah I spider plate but if you tell me that she's coming from a very tough neighbor I'm from Sicily I can tell you I come from very bad neighbor okay where they were killing people I think but um >> according to her she's the on being wronged here, not the other way around. >> Then you choose your battle. >> Why stop me and not the black guy that did like a >> well >> that was bothering me and he was arresting me. Why she has to stop that guy? >> I hear you. >> All the car open. >> And we do that. >> But we do that also. You know what I'm saying? You just happen to be in front of >> She just target me. But she went from that lane to this lady behind me when she stopped me. >> Yeah. >> Thanks for dealing with us with me. >> Anytime anytime partner >> so she comes from a tough neighbor. I understand, you know, perhaps minority. Yeah. >> Right. Perhaps those stuff like that >> sometimes. Yeah. >> Okay. Do I look like a minority joint? >> We have no idea. We don't know. We don't know who anybody is. Sometimes sometimes we're really nice. We got to go. You know, >> worst case scenario, you might get a ticket. And uh you know, >> whatever. You know, I am in your hands. >> I don't I don't think it's >> You can squeeze me whatever you like. I don't think you represent the law. >> Are we done? All right. >> Are you Are you better now with them? >> I don't I don't think it's >> I'm not finished, man. I am not finished. No, I'm not. I'm sorry. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. >> Yeah. I'm here. >> Did I say I'm finished? No. No. Well, I thought I thought you were I thought you said you had to go. So, I was coming out of your >> Well, no. I I just I just I just I just I just cancelled my call. >> Okay. >> I'm going to have a lot of problems, but >> Okay. So, what's the verdict here? >> Uh >> that's why I was trying to come explain >> what what's the citation for? >> Okay. It's a criminal citation. She has to sign it. >> She has uh the court date is on the bottom. >> Sign where the X is. >> The attached tag is not assigned. So this tag, as you can see, is out of Missouri. This car is not registered. It's an unregistered motor vehicle. This tag is not assigned to this vehicle. You're not the registered owner of this vehicle either. This vehicle comes back out of Wisconsin, not Missouri. >> I just got to come back. >> Okay. Well, I'm telling you what my cell type is telling me. >> Okay. The supervisor makes it clear the lack of valid registration is a crime and she's getting a citation. Then they discover something worse. The plates from Missouri, but the car is supposedly registered in Wisconsin with no legal paperwork backing it up. >> You know, we're going to look like stupid because, you know, >> you're telling me that I stole this vehicle. I was >> That's not what I'm saying. I did not say the vehicle stole. I said the tag is not assigned to the vehicle. The attached tag that you have on this vehicle is not assigned. >> So, which tag is attached to? >> Not this. It's not registered. There's no tag assigned to it whatsoever. That's what I'm telling you. >> Excuse me. >> So, that that made it. >> No, excuse me. Okay, fine. I agree with you. Uh, what's the what's the serial number? >> There is no serial number. >> No, this is a VIN. >> A VIN? Yes. Correct. >> Please can you check with >> That's That's not the issue. You're not listening to what I'm saying. The VIN comes back to a vehicle out of Wisconsin. >> This guy was never in Wisconsin. I'm just telling you what they're telling me. >> When you run the bin, it comes back out of Wisconsin, not Missouri. >> Uh, so, so, >> and it's not right. >> Excuse me. Excuse me. Mercedes SLKs are being assembled in Wisconsin. In fact, >> oh, surprise, surprise. Wisconsin. That's why they manufacture the vehicle. >> Missouri is the tag. >> Yes, but that's the V number, man. >> Look, 10 of 24. I understand. >> We are in April of 25. >> The vehicle is not registered. >> That is a criminal offense. You can be going to jail. >> That's fine. That's fine. >> Instead of me taking you to jail, I wrote you a criminal citation to go to court. >> No, you can take >> I am. It's right here. >> Well, that's only if you want to take me to court. >> It's only if you >> I'm going to follow you. >> Go ahead. >> Please do it. >> You can sign right there. >> Okay. >> No, please take me to court. >> Ma'am, >> that's another Do you see how she talks? >> I I think she's just being straight with you. >> No, she said me. If you don't sign this, I want to take you to jail. I've never been a change in my life. >> Citation. >> You have to sign it. >> Since it's a criminal ticket, you're you're by law you're required to sign. >> Okay, hold on a second. Let's Let's >> take me Take me to jail. Take me to jail. >> I'm not going to order anymore. Take me to jail. Let's go. Let's go. Come on. Let's go. Let's go. >> Let's go. Let's go. Take me to jail. >> Take me to jail. >> If that's the route you want to go, we can go that route. >> Sure. I have not done nothing. >> I have not done nothing. Nothing, >> ma'am. take me to jail. >> Instead of just complying, she challenges the officers and demands to be taken to jail instead. Let's see how that works out for her. >> By the way, I'm recording everything. I want to >> I understand. So, so listen, I'm I'm >> not done anything. >> Why did you stop the black guy that was arresting me? >> Are we going to keep doing this or she's going to go? >> No. No. >> Want to go? >> Yeah. >> All right. On your back. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> Are you Are you serious? >> That's what you're telling us to do. >> All right. So, wait a second. Okay. outside it. >> No, it's too late now. We're not going to do that. >> It's too late. >> Come on, guys. >> That's not how it works. >> Oh my god, man. Okay, I apologize. >> How this works? >> You're good. Why are you doing this? Okay. >> Yes. >> Ma'am, >> do you have anything that's going to poke, stick, or stab me? >> Ma'am, can we talk a little bit? >> Okay. I was >> Please go squeeze next to you, please. Ma'am, please.
