On May 14th, 2025, while on patrol, deputies spotted a vehicle linked to a wanted suspect with an outstanding felony warrant. After confirming the registered owner also had a suspended license, deputies initiated a traffic stop. >> Hello, name is Deputy Cruz with the sheriff's office. So, the question is, number one, you you're driving with a suspended driver's license with knowledge because you received that citation on July 26th, 2024. I can prove that on our local database. So, you're driving with a suspended driver's license with knowledge. It's it is a misdemeanor in the state of Florida. You could be arrested for that, and you are being arrested for that. Aside from that, you have a felony warrant for failure. Let's see, failed to redeliver lease property. >> I don't have any leased property. Well, it's out of the CMI Police Department. I I have no clue where it's coming from. I can't see it from them, but the warrant's there. It exists. So, they had reason to issue the warrant. >> So, why wasn't I notified? >> Because people you don't you don't get notified if you have a warrant. That's not how that works. Next time you run into law enforcement, you you are arrested and taken into custody to be dealt with accord with accordance to the laws of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. I've never taken anything. Well, ma'am, if that's a uh some sort of misunderstanding, then you know, you and your lawyers and the courts could handle that. But as of right now, there is an active warrant for for your arrest, just like you've you're driving with a suspended driver's license. So, the these are crimes. So, that's why you're under being placed under arrest for that. Okay. I'm also just so you know, those that tag is it's being taken. Okay. >> You have you have a cease tag order from the state of Florida. that since your license is suspended, you didn't pay for the things that you needed to pay for.
