Yes, ma'am. >> We're on our way to a disturbance uh residence. Basically, it's an open line. They can't get anybody to respond, but in the background they can hear loud music playing along with a female screaming in the background. Um, pinging the coordinates in the backyard of the residence. So, we're going to go there and get it checked out, just make sure everybody's okay. They could be having a little get together and just not realize their phone, call 911, or there could actually be a disturbance where something needs to be addressed. But, we're about to be here, so we're going to get it figured out. 726 1023. >> Yeah. >> I don't think anybody's home. him. They said a 91y old man lives here named Ernest >> H. It possibly could be. >> Yeah, it could be somebody over here that Just advising we're having negative contact at this residence. I don't believe anybody's going to be home. We spoke to the neighbor. Stated a 91y old male lives here. There's an event going on at the church next door to this location. Could have possibly come from there, but everything's going to be code for. You can show all units 108 till further. 10. Here we go. Obviously. >> Hey, sir. How you doing? >> Good. How about you? >> We had a 911 call pinging at this location. We just wanted to make sure that you were okay. >> Everybody called. >> You okay? >> Yeah. >> Yes, sir. We're fine. We just wanted to come check on you. Make sure you was all right. >> All right. Been enjoying the Lord. >> Yes, sir. >> Thank God for saving. You [clears throat] have a good one. They're probably from the church. >> Kansas tag 544. Robert Henry Nora White Nissan Sentra. Expired tags. I'm stopping for expired tags. How you doing? Pretty good. >> Officer Negron, what y'all please for? Man, the reason I pulled you over is your tags are expired. You got your license, proof insurance? >> No, I have my insurance. >> I do have my license. >> You have it at the house. Is this your vehicle? Yes, sir. >> Okay. See that says it expired two years ago, my man. Here you go. And this is what? And this is what again? This your insurance? >> Okay. Your insurance expired also? 92124. Okay. I'll be right back. Well, he said he said he has his license, but it's at home. Um, he showed me his registration, which expired two years ago. And then his insurance is expired also. So I'm just verifying what this says. It says his driver's license is suspended. So let's see if he's got any wants or warrants. >> Okay. So you your suspect's proto. You want to confirm that? And if that's him, he's going to have a city bench warrant, a citation warrant, a possible out of Andover if you have them. And it's 27 is 0385 9416. It is an ID only with a status of suspended >> 104. That is him. >> 10. >> So his he has a city bench warrant, a traffic warrant, and one out of another agency. So >> sorry, I pulled it from 13. I'm going to >> 1 second. 133. >> I'm going to have another officer back me, then we'll take him into custody. They want you to always arrest with two officer for uh officer safety. Like say if we get into a fight and no one knows I need a back for an arrest, does no one knows how long it's going to take to get here or he can run through the neighborhood and be lost in matter of seconds. So, [clears throat] >> I'm going to go 15. He's got warrants. >> Sure. >> All right. >> Is there anybody you can call to take this vehicle? >> Is there anybody you going to arrest him? >> Yeah, you got some warrants, man. Don't reach for nothing. Okay. All right. Just going to step on out. We'll call him. We'll call him. You can bring your phone with you. behind you about the trans one in custody. in 30 minutes. >> Good. >> I'm going to take that money so in case someone comes and grabs it. All right. Is that cool with you? Take it with you. >> Is this your wallet? >> Yeah. >> All right. Let's grab all that. So, it doesn't All right. >> Have a smart tag. >> Huh? I'll take Yeah. All right, we're going to go on this side. You anybody you can call to come get your car? No. Cuz if not, it's going to get towed. >> All right, I got somebody call. I just got to get >> All right. Go a step that way. I'm going to search you real fast. You think your pog's going to stick or poke me? >> Uh, no. I just got my phone and then Hold that weight over here. It's up to your right. You got shorts on or these boxers? >> Boxers. All right. All right. That's what you want to step on in. This is fun. So, the driver of the vehicle, we stopped. We took him to jail for driving suspended. He had two warrants. Well, he had one one warrant and two uh one citation warrant and one notice to appear out of an outside agency. Um the call took about roughly almost 2 hours due to a shift change at the jail. Um, the kid was very very understanding and he seemed like he was going to take care of all his his responsibilities. >> Okay, we're just going to be checking out a general alarm. It's a burglary alarm. Uh, calling party's not on scene right now. She's out of state. >> We're just here to check out, make sure everything's secure. 136. They're operating on east. >> You're backing 1399. There's a couple cats right here. >> Someone back here. >> No, there's just a cat, but I can't tell. Oh, dude. This is wide open. >> Is that open? >> No. >> Okay, >> that's locked. But there's just a couple cats right here. No, I don't see anybody in there. >> Yeah, you can just roll it. Check the box. >> Do we have a unit in route to the hospital? >> Negative. We have units in route to the apartment. We'll give them a ride to the hospital or to the apartment. The next one we have available. Let's get them to live. >> The building's secure. >> Uh there's only one door over here on this other side, but you had to have like a actual It's a deadlock, so it doesn't even have a handle or anything. >> Yeah. >> Uh we just uh secured the residents. make sure there was no forced entry as far as windows, doors. Uh she was just more concerned because the dogs were barking, but windows are wide open and there's no forced >> entry. Checking south. Can you copy traffic? >> Charleston park and David on Nevada 127 William 12. It's a white accuracy. >> South 16. We're going to be west of the intersection for final stop. >> I just finished running them because I won. Hello. >> Hey there. >> How's it going? >> Not too bad. >> My name is Deputy Hagen. I work for the Night County Sheriff's Office. The reason I'm pulling you over is you're displaying a orange 2024 expired registration tag. >> Did you have uh a current sticker? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I can throw it on there for you. >> That's the most important thing that it's valid. Can you get your driver's license and uh your proof of insurance, please? Thank you, sir. And then uh the address on the horn still current. >> Yeah. >> Okay, cool. And I'll just take your insurance card and that'll be it. If you like, I can do I can put the sticker on there for a public service if you'd like. >> Uh that'd be awesome. Uh >> I'll do my best with aligning it, though. I know some people are some people are >> thinking about that. I'm worried that the [ __ ] fall off or doesn't stick right steal it. >> Yeah. Uh worst case, if it does get stolen, um the DMV will replace it for you with a little number from us. So, I have to show you the insurance. >> My family's Mexican, and we used to taught growing up, I got taught to take a razor blade and cut through it. So, I don't know if that's still around or a thing. I still do it. I don't know. Makes me feel better. >> That's just bad, though. >> Yeah. Well, sad that we had to do that. >> All I got is the payment for this past month. >> That's fine. I'll look it up on the uh I'll take that and then I'll look it up on the DMV as well. Okay. Just give me one second. I know it's hot. You can roll your window up. driving a little fast and then I'm like, you know what? Went back to the old you harp on the small things. You never know what you're going to uncover, you know? So, let's see. It's got a temporary driver's license, which is you don't see those very often. He was had his CCW suspended. It's not good. He's got a valid class C driver's license. Has plenty of tickets. Wow. He has a officer safety notice and is tagged as a sovereign citizen. I think I've dealt with him before. Ah, yes. I've given him a ticket before. All right. So, we stopped this gentleman for displaying a wrong calendar year registration sticker. That little color sticker on your plate. It's actually a criminal violation in Nevada, believe it or not. Um, contacted him. He just wasn't aware. Everything else is on the up and up. So, we will get him out of here with a warning. >> All right, sir. Uh, just make sure you get a a good uh insurance card next time. Okay. >> Oh, that's when I go in the office. Yeah, I can pick one up. Yeah, with one of the insurance cards and then uh so that way you can have it on your phone too. You just got to have something >> the actual card. >> Yeah, it just says the next payment date would be August. >> If you go on to your insurance company's thing and you click identification card or something like that, it'll it'll provide one to you. >> Now you got to get another app. >> Yeah. Or you can just log on the website and download it either way. But uh I put the sticker on the back of your plate, so you're all good to go. All right, man. Have a good day. from Valley 372 unregistered gold forward excursion. >> They're stopping this vehicle in front of us. They have no registration on their vehicle. I think they have a temporary tag, but we got to verify that. How you guys doing? >> Hello. >> How you doing? Obviously, no plates on the car, so I just stopping to verify your temp temp tag. Okay, perfect. And do you have a driver's license and insurance for the vehicle? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Is the insurance on the uh phone? >> Okay. >> If we were to get another print head and put it like kind of in our back license plate, would that be better? >> Not really. So, we hate the way that DMV prints these. We'd wish they' just make a license plate or something. Either way, this is the proper way to display it. Obviously, we just still can't verify. We can't verify it unless we stop you and check it and check the vent and all that stuff. >> And then even if you put it on the back plate, you're more likely to get stopped cuz it's improperly displayed. >> And then we still have to check it. >> Like have it displayed there, still have it displayed back there as well. >> Yeah. So, even if you put it back there, it's still improperly displayed even if you have it up here. >> And you you still get stopped. Yeah. Regardless. So until you get plates, you people still stop and verify the temp tag and all that. So >> you might have swipe it right on the >> perfect. I appreciate it. Let me run the van your license real quick. I'll be right back. Okay. Okay. >> All right. >> You're good. >> I appreciate you guys. So just give the plates when you can. So >> what's that? her on camera. >> Oh, yeah. The YouTube show. Yeah. >> But you guys are good. I appreciate you. >> All right. Drive safe. >> All right. We just got diverted for a residential burglary in progress. Um, we are going to a house where a female entered the house through the side door about 3 minutes ago. No one lives at the house or the RP is unsure. Just remodeled apparently and still thinks that the female's inside. So, we're going to head over there and try to contact this female who's apparently breaking into a house. Um, even if somebody doesn't live there, still could be unlawful occupancy. Uh, meaning that person knows they weren't supposed to be inside. So, either way, it's still probably a crime. So, apparently she's exiting the house now. So, we're going to hurry up, see if we can get over there, try to make contact. We got about a 5minute drive ahead of us. And now there's a truck in the driveway. So possibly several people there. So 16 I'll be out with Nevada 683 yellow 95. Where did the RP last see them? I'm not seeing anybody. >> Sheriff's office. >> Can you run the RO, please? Kevin when you pulled up. Did you see anybody on foot? Hello. Sheriff's office. >> Yeah, I'm the owner. >> Oh, okay. Somebody's calling in a burglary. >> Yeah, it's not. I have to keep >> out with the subjects. It's code for it. Appears to be the owner. Okay. Um >> I have to keep >> Is it you? Just you here? >> Yes. I'm my mom cuz it's just myself. >> No worries. Your elderly neighbor >> called and Yeah. She says >> that I'm supposed to be here. >> Okay. Do you mind if I get your ID just to say I talked to you? >> Definitely. >> They're so nice though. >> That's good. Do you have anything that says that you're the owner? I'm sure that you are. Or do you have a key? You said >> I did. >> Can I just see that you your key works? >> It might be on the table. Oh, right here. >> It says Bruce. >> Okay, no worries. Did um you're the um who owns the house? Do you know? >> I am the owner. >> Is it in your name or somebody else's? >> My name. We just bought it. >> Oh, congrats. >> I live in Vegas. So, Friday. >> Are you not used to used to police showing up? not used to it. >> Yeah, right. >> I saw the window. I was like, uhoh. >> Yeah. When we when people call and report crime, we actually do stuff about it, which is cool. >> That's good. I think they have caring neighbors. >> Yeah. Right. You got watchful neighbors. >> Yes. Um, so congratulations. >> That's all good for me. Awesome. Here's your ID back. And here's your keys to your lovely house. >> Thank you. >> All right. Any questions? >> Am I supposed to be in the video? So, we >> No, it's all good. They just They ride with me. They do a documentary. It's about me, not you. >> No, [laughter] TV. >> No, you're good. Um, I walked through your shed which is open. I didn't see anybody back there. So, for what it's worth, there was your door. There's a door open here and then like a side shed with some tools and some stuff in there. So, >> I was opening it just to check. >> Yeah. Well, I looked there was nobody in there hiding. So, >> okay. >> All righty. Call us if you need anything. Sorry. >> Yeah. Look, look how fast your cops show up. You know what I mean? >> But all righty. Have a good day. Okay. >> All right. So, we're heading to a fraud north side of town. The uh female is advising that she was scammed and the scammers took about $10,000. She further advises that her brother had just died and she has never used this card before. So, she went to use the card for funeral services and somewhere in between she gets scammed by a person who, from what I'm gathering from the call notes, shows up to her house and physically takes the money that she withdrew from the bank and I guess took off with it. It I it's there's still a lot of questions here. The RP didn't give much information to dispatch. So, we're going to go ahead and arrive here on scene and then speak with her to see exactly what's going on and how much money she really truly did lose. And there she is. >> Hello. >> Hi. How you doing? Good. How are you? >> Stop it. >> What's going on today? >> I've got a story to tell. >> All right. >> My Stop it. My brother was the one that was found in the apartment the other day. Been in there seven days and was dead. >> I called the sheriff's department. You guys came out. >> Uhhuh. >> And it was a tragic scene. Don't know what happened. We got the report back, but I went to the funeral parlor, Lee's funeral parlor, >> on uh last Thursday to make arrangements for his cremation. So, all I had was my credit card, my cashwise credit card from Wells Fargo. >> Okay. >> That I knew that morning I've never used this card. I've had this card for a long time. Never used this card. >> Is it like a credit card? >> It's a credit card. Had $17,000 >> of credit. >> Of credit. Never used it. >> So, I gave it to the funeral home guy to run for the bill for Greg's cremation and it didn't work. Well, I knew that morning I called and I knew it was good that I had the money to give to him. >> So, he ran it. Didn't work. He said, "Call Welsh Fargo. It's, you know, talked to them. See if we can get an approval." >> I called this number. I looked it up here on Google. >> Okay. >> I said, "Give me the number of Wells Fargo." >> Okay. >> I called that whatever they gave me on Google is the number I called. This lady was very rude to me. I've been with Wells Fargo for 35 years. This woman was very rude to me. She said, "I'm with another customer right now." She said, "Can you wait?" I said, "All you have to do is I'm in a pig home." >> Yeah. >> All you have to do is approve this. She said, "I told you I'm with another customer. I'll call you back in 30 minutes." I said, "Okay." So, the guy at the funeral home that runs it, he said, "I'll wait with you 30 minutes." Then I happen to mention Neptune that I've been paying on Neptune. >> Uhhuh. >> So, he calls Neptune in Vegas. He says, "Yes, you have Neptune for Greg." He said, "I'm going to tear this contract up and you can go." >> So, you didn't have to pay? >> I didn't have to pay nothing. >> So, we know it's not this guy that came there. >> Sure. >> So, now I go over here to the Statestop casino. I know the people there. I'm upset. I I just want to cry. And you know, while I'm at the stage stop, no more left the funeral, like 15 minutes later, I get a call. It says, "I'm from the fraud department with Wells Fargo." He said, "Um, did you just go to Las Vegas to Target and spend $850?" I said, "No." "Did you just go to some station?" "No." Well, your card's being used in LA also. And I said, 'Really? He said, 'Well, this is what I need you to do. He said, ' Do you have transportation where you're at? I said, yes, I do. He said, get to Wells Fargo right now. He said, I want you to, he said, I'll be on the phone with you. I want you to put the phone in your purse so I can hear everything. He said, "I want you to go up to the teller, tell them you want $10,000 cash." I didn't have $10,000 in my bank account. >> Sure. >> So, I'm thinking, Wells Fargo is checking abroad and they put $10,000 in my account. That's what I'm thinking. >> Okay. >> And they said, "Don't touch the money. Uh, we're going to have get the fingerprints off of it, the serial number. Be sure to get a receipt from the the lady." So, don't touch the money that they're withdrawing for you. >> Yes. For me not to touch the money. >> This is the guy on the phone. >> Yes. Tell me to put it in an envelope. Not to touch the money. >> Go for no need, further. >> And he said, "Go back to your car and I'll tell you what to do." So, I did. And he said, "There's another Wells Fargo ATM machine at Rebel." He said, "Go to Rebel and deposit that $10,000 in that machine." >> I didn't know there was a machine at Rebel, but I went there >> and I got out. He said, "Don't get out of your car. It's a drive-in." Well, it wasn't. And uh he didn't realize I was techsavvy on my phone. He kept telling me, "Do this. Do that." I got on my phone. He said, "I'm going to put a wallet card on your phone, a Wells Fargo wallet card." And he said, "I want you to take that money, go home, put it in a box." I said, "I don't have a box." I said, "I'm going to go to the post office and get one of those if it fits ship boxes." And I did. >> Sure. Yeah. Yeah. >> And he said, "Now go home. I'm going to have a courier driver come and pick that money up." And I said, then I was getting a little suspicious. >> Sounds a little suspicious. I went to PI school in California. >> Yeah. >> And uh he said he was a PI and I said, you know, I went to PI school. >> That kind of threw him off a bit. >> Yeah. >> And uh he said, "Take that money, go to your house." I said, "There's no damn way in the world I'm going to go to my house and I'm here alone. My brother just died, you know, >> with all this money in a box." >> But just $10,000. >> Yep. And I said, "I'm not going to do that." I said, "I'm not feeling good about this at all." No, that's what you got to do. You got to go to your house. I said, "Oh, something's not right here." I started getting suspicious and I drove straight to my boyfriend's house. >> Okay. >> And I He said, "Are you at your house yet?" And I said, "No, I'm not." And he I knocked on the door. Bill and Bill don't know what's going on. And he comes out. Hey K's dog start barking. And the person on the phone said, "Where are you at? I told you you can't tell nobody. It, you know, >> this is an investigation. You can't tell nobody." >> I said, "I'm at my boyfriend's house." He goes, "Oh no, now we got to reroute this." He said, "Let me talk to him." Bill got on the phone. He said, "What's your address? What's your He He got all the address. He said to me, "I need you to put that money in the box. Now it's in the box. Now, write on the box, Kate. Tippery, my name, and put this address down, which is this address in is uh on Sahara Avenue." Wow. >> He said, "Now turn on the back of the box and put my name." And I did all that. He said, "The Uber driver's on the way. She's on uh the courier driver. She's on 372. She'll be there in a few minutes. Now she's 2 minutes out. Now she's two." And he said, "This is her name. This is the license of the car she's in. So you identify her before you put this box in the car." I She came and I did that. Oh, license plate. What's your name? She had the right name, all that. She volunteered to give me her driver's license. I took him and took a picture of her driver's license. >> Oh, beautiful. Do you have it still? >> I have it. And so he said, "Don't let her touch the box." He said, "Open up the back door of her car and put the box in the back seat. Don't touch the box. She's not to touch the box. I did all that. Now I know they took $10,000 off of my Cashwise card, put it in my checking account, had me to go get it out of my checking account, and had me do all this crazy crap that I I was My brother just died. They knew that. They knew I was at a funeral home. So now your your your credit card is charged 10,000 $10,000 >> because they took the money from credit put it in >> checking and then you >> I went to checking thinking didn't think that at all. Now they have my address. I have a pistol and if I got to use it I will. So, it sounds like it was one of those scams where somebody will, you know, call in reference. The number she got from Google was probably one of those numbers that they put out, a fictitious number for Wells Fargo. Um, so she probably called that and that number probably got got her set up with that scammer. It sounds like that scammer was probably using a local delivery service and this delivery driver most likely had no idea what she was picking up, where she was dropping it off. Um, and it checks out with her story because she said that the person on the line advised her not to talk to the delivery driver at all for her to open up the door, put the package in there herself, and kind of just end it with that. So, we're going to go talk with the delivery driver a little bit uh later and see if the delivery driver has any information. But, it sounds like it's one of those common scams where they use a delivery driver, a local delivery driver um kind of just as a tool. And from what I'm gathering, I don't think she's involved. We'll go and talk with her just in case. But man, being out of 10 grand kind of sucks. So hopefully we can get her uh get some more [music] information on this and hold these people accountable. >> [music] [music] >> Heat.
