Some people grow up thinking rules are optional and consequences are negotiable. Today, they finally meet cops who say no without blinking. Here are five cases of cops versus dumbest Karens who are never told no as a child. Number five, nononsense cops versus Karen who won't back down. Officers conduct a traffic stop after witnessing a driver nearly rear end a police vehicle and swerve between lanes. Here's what happens when they pull over the driver. >> How you doing, ma'am? >> Hi, >> Officer Way with Coral Springs Police Department. The reason why we pulled you over is one, when we were over here off of sample, you almost ran into the back of my car. It's a moveover law. Do me a favor. Can you take that window down for my sergeant? >> Hello. >> Hi. >> Also, you failed to maintain lanes. >> You put the window all the way down. >> Do you have your driver's license, registration, insurance? >> My driver's license. >> Where you coming from tonight? >> Okay. was dropped off on 12:41, I think it is. >> Okay. Have you had anything to drink tonight? >> A few hours ago. >> What's a few hours ago? It's 12:50 right now. >> 10:00 about an hour 40 minutes. >> All right. You do me a favor to turn off the vehicle for me as well. the registration. >> I don't keep it in my car. It's my husband's car. So, this is proof of >> insurance right now. Huh? >> Wendy Jennings. >> So, you don't have the ID? Do me a favor. Just hang up the phone for me while we're talking right now. >> ID or >> we'll we'll worry about that later. All right. Just do me a favor. Just hang up the phone for me. Um, they want me to hang up. >> The woman stays on the phone as officers try to give clear instructions, but she pushes back hard. Do you think the officers will go easy on her? Let's find out. >> No, don't send anyone over here. >> Okay. >> All right. So, listen. Just listen to my instructions. All right. What I'm going to do is I'm going to open up the door and I'm going to pull you out of the car. Right. I think that you were under influence of alcohol just based on you almost hitting the back of our car. You fell in maintain the lanes. My sergeant threw on the lights. Took you a while to stop. >> I wanted to pull over right here. I'm not going to pull over in the middle. >> All right. That's why. Just listen to my instructions. All right. So, when I open the door, I want you to face forward. All right. >> I don't want to get out. >> Okay. Well, you got to get out the car. >> No. Why? I >> because I just told you that I believe that you're under the influence of alcohol, so you're not going to be able to drive the vehicle. >> Okay. Don't touch my hand. >> Okay. Well, you're not you're not going to start the car. You're not going to do anything. >> I don't want to touch you. >> Okay. Don't don't. >> Here we go. >> What do you guys I don't want you to manhandle me like this. >> I already asked you not to do this. Well, what? I don't have any rights now. I don't have any rights, right? >> Stop resisting. Okay, >> I'm not resisting. I'm not even doing anything right now. I don't have anything in my pocket. I don't have anything at all. You don't need to touch me like this. You don't need to treat me like this. What? >> So, you need to do this to me, right? What more do you want? What more do you want? Suspect you may be driving on. >> I heard you already. >> All right. So, I was giving you instructions to get out of the >> pull me out and pull me out of the car like that. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Well, actually, I was giving you instructions and then you told me that you're not >> and I don't said I don't want you to do that. >> And you were and you continued to tell me that you will do it anyway. >> Once inside the patrol car, she continues protesting, accusing officers of violating her rights. Excuse me. Cuz I I told you already that I did not want you to do this and you did it anyway. >> Pretty much. >> No, ma'am. Excuse me. I don't want you to do this. >> Well, listen, ma'am. Here's the deal. >> I have no right. >> I'm going to Well, listen, ma'am. Here's the deal. >> I have no right. >> All right. I'm going to have time out. Time out. Time out. Okay. Here's the deal. All right. >> Can you not touch me then? Can you let go? >> No. >> I'm not I'm going to I'mma run that way. >> Okay. You're under arrest. >> Do you want to have a conversation or no? >> Yes, I do. >> So, let me talk for a second. You can speak. Okay. All right. Listen. This officer gave you a lawful order. Okay. You refused. Okay. We have the right to take you out of the vehicle. I stick my hand in your car. You slap my hand. Okay. I >> I did not slap your hand. Do not make up. >> Okay. Everything's on camera. >> I You You can't speak. >> I am. >> Okay. So, now you're either going to get into >> Let go of me, please. >> No, we can't. You're either going to get into this car or I'm going to force you into this car. It's your choice. Okay. >> For with what? Right. >> Okay. Number one, you battered me. >> I did not batter for that. So, please respect. Okay. And we're also conducting a DUI investigation. >> You can do that. >> But you have not given me any right for that. No car. >> You know what? I am not going to sit here and just let you do anything or whatever the you want to me. >> We're being very We're being very kind. >> You're not. You're not >> because you know what? I've dealt with police before. Despite repeated attempts to reason with her and warnings that she's making things worse, she continues to behave like this. >> You're not. I have >> just relax. >> You're making things worse. >> Am I really? Because you are doing what for me? Nothing. You've given me no rights. None at all. Have I been given any type of anything, >> man? Where where are my rights? Thank you. >> Instructions to stop. >> Lawful instructions to do what? I stopped my car. I pulled over on the side of the road. I'm not going to sit here and pull over in the middle of >> explain to you that she was conducting a DUI investigation. >> No, she did not. >> Yes, she did. >> Now, right now, right now, she did. >> She did not say that when she pulled me over. >> Step out of the car. >> Did she tell me that she was going to pull me over? officer's discretion to have you step out of the car and not remain in the car. >> I said I do not want that. That's not my That's my right. Is that not my right? >> It's not. >> Oh, show me the law that says that's not my right. >> Well, I'm sure you can look it up for yourself. But >> how how if I have no phone? I have nothing on me to you is just to try to calm down. >> I am calm. >> Pretty obvious. >> I want my rights to be said to me. None of that has been done. Nothing. Nothing. I have no rights at all. Right. >> His I have his ID. >> No, hers. >> I don't know where. Did I give it back to you or No. >> No. Probably not cuz we were officer explain to you what's going on >> a little bit. Yeah. >> Police step aside to fill in another man on what just happened, including what they observed during the traffic stop. We were on a traffic stop on Sample Road and at about 40 45 miles an hour, she almost rear ended one of the police cars that was, you know, sitting here like this. >> Mhm. >> She swerved out pretty much within about a car length. >> Where what direction was she headed? >> She was coming west or coming from the west headed eastbound on sample. She took a right here on University and uh followed her for a little bit. He can't stay in a single lane. I put the lights on. >> So, you were the officer called? >> Yeah. >> Okay. And then what happened? >> So, we walked up uh I told this officer I suspected she might be driving on an influence based on the driving pattern and uh she went up made contact with her. I went to the passenger side and we started talking to her. Seemed to have a little bit of confusion. >> Uh manipulator. >> Looking for a driver's license, what have you, explained to her, you know, the reason for the stop, asked her to step out of the car, and she said, "I'm I'm not stepping out of the car. You can't make me." And uh, you know, I got to the point where we ended up having to pull her out of the car. >> She's not hurt in any way. >> Okay. May I speak to her? >> No. Once you're finished, >> once they're in our custody, not Gotcha. >> Okay, sir. So, this officer has given you the courtesy to take the vehicle. It's not going to go to the car. You've been respectful of both of us, and we appreciate that. >> Uh the vehicle is yours. Okay. >> All right. >> All right. Can we uh I think she wanted booking 14 for her. >> The woman ends up facing charges for DUI and resisting arrest. Number four, traffic stop goes sideways when woman refuses to cooperate. Officers spot a vehicle failing to signal and initiate a traffic stop, but the driver doesn't pull over right away. Once they stop, the driver is irritated and defensive, asking for the process to be over quickly. >> Washington 26. They're not stopping. We're going westbound on approaching the square. Hello, >> Officer Pedo with the Washington Police Department. I stopped you today cuz you failed the signal 300 ft before you turned back there. >> Oh, for God's sakes. >> Is there a reason you didn't stop when I turned on our lights? >> She got She was >> I thought you were going around me. >> But you didn't even pull over. So, there's no way. >> There was no way to pull over. Where was she going to >> Well, you just pulled over, right? >> Right. >> And there's multiple roads back there you could have stopped on. For God's sakes, this community can get it over with. >> Okay. Do you still live on? >> Yes. >> All right. You got an ID on you, hun? You have an ID on you? >> No, but I got an >> Okay. I don't know why you got an attitude with me. I haven't been rude to you, have I? >> This one? >> No. Nothing on my record except >> All right, ma'am. Do you have the insurance? This is your registration. I'll give you this paperwork back. Is there anything illegal in the car? Any Nothing? No. Do you care if we search? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Why? >> She's getting >> There's no Please. There's no reason to search. >> She said we could search the car. What? What's the reason? Whose car is it? >> It's my mom's car. >> My mom's car. Okay. >> My mom's helping me get out of there because that guy's >> Okay. I Well, if she is giving us permission to search, it's her car. Okay. So, I'll have you step out. Do you have anything on you? Any weapons? No. Okay. Walk back there for me. Oh, can you grab your dog? >> Yeah. >> Sorry. He got out. All right. Just walk over here for me though, sir. Okay. >> The mom claims she's only giving her daughter a ride, but neither of them is very cooperative. Tension builds as officers begin searching their belongings. >> Babies in there, but it's okay. Whatever. >> Okay. Well, I need you to Yep. Sit down. Thank you. >> I'm just giving her a ride. The guy. >> Okay. >> No, I didn't get stuff. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> I called you guys the other night. >> I have no idea who you are. I've never seen you. No idea who you are. So, you are fine with us searching the vehicle? >> I don't care. Why would I? >> I just need a yes or no from you. You're the owner of the vehicle, so that is your right. >> I don't ask me. I don't know. >> I just want to go home. >> Okay. All right. >> Did she get your ID? >> Yes. >> Okay. You got your insurance? >> Washington 26. I got one. >> There might be what >> or what? >> Something. I don't know. But I just want >> Am I good? Can I come? >> I'm >> Yep. Do you Do you mind if we search that bag? >> I'm just asking. >> I don't There's nothing in there. >> Okay. There's nothing in here. That's all. >> I did. You even run my name? >> Yeah, we ran you. >> Yeah. >> You're suspended and you got a driver, so you're doing good, right? Do you care if I just I'm going to put it up on the trunk here or the hood of the car? Okay. Yes, ma'am. You can wait in your car. He's um he's a a lab kid. >> So you look like a lab, part lab. >> Yeah, he's half lab, half >> What are these pills? >> Ibuprofen. >> They're ibuprofen. >> Yeah. Okay. >> Tylenol. >> Okay. >> The she wait. >> Yeah. >> I haven't run this code, but she said it's uh Tylenol. So found Is it yours? What's that? Is that a this car or what? >> It's a joke card. >> The woman argues she's not impaired and tries to justify her behavior. Officers seem skeptical but continue their questioning >> cuz I'm I'm I'm trying >> I've never seen one of these. Okay. >> And >> they help us with those. That's where I got that. And they said if cuz I don't have no drug I don't have no drug anything. >> Okay. So here's my only concern. Okay. It's like it looks like you're under the influence of something right now. >> I I have a borderline personality disorder. >> Okay. >> I just got out of a squid. >> Okay. >> The the facial all that that is part of the symptoms. >> But what about how jittery you are? >> I haven't done anything. It's been 3 days. >> Three days. >> That's been sitting there for in there for 3 days. >> Okay. Well, that's good that you're three days clean. What a choice. Okay. So, did you use this three days ago? Yeah. >> Yeah. I I forgot it. >> Okay. Well, I appreciate being honest. It goes a long way. I mean, you see, I have nothing. >> Yeah. No, you've been cool this whole time. I appreciate it. >> Angry, but >> I understand. But you've been >> It's And you have a right to be angry, but you've still been cool with us, right? I don't I haven't had an issue with you. So, I appreciate you doing that. Okay. So, obviously, I am going to have to confiscate this, though. Okay. Um, I'll give you your card back and then let me just confirm the pill is ibuprofen. I have to make sure of that. Okay. >> Yeah, it's more ibuprofen or >> No, I'm now I just have to double check on that. Okay. Um, so as long as you stay cool with us, I'm not going to put you in cuffs or anything. Okay. >> What are you going to do? You do that. >> So, um, so I'll take this and then, um, I'll probably charge you with Okay. Come on. I've got no nothing on my record. >> Okay. >> Nothing. Please don't do that. >> Okay. Just don't freak out yet, okay? >> So, just give me one second. Okay. As long as you stay seated, we'll be good. >> As police try to move forward with the search, the woman becomes more emotional and overwhelmed. It doesn't take long before the cuffs come out. >> Do you have anything on your person? >> No. >> Did you stuff anything? >> No. >> No. Cuz you guys took a while to pull over. >> Okay. She can She can't see you. >> I've done a million. >> She didn't know. She didn't know until you and until you made the noise. She didn't know you were behind her. >> Okay. >> You can't see anything. >> Okay. So, >> I don't I don't have anything. >> Okay. So, if we were to take you to jail and they were to strip her, that's what I'm trying to ask you for, though. >> What? >> Take me to jail and then when I get out, I'M MY LIFE FOR NOTHING. All right. For nothing. >> So, go ahead and stand up. I just want to search you. Okay. Stand up for me. Put your hands behind your back. Stay standing on your dog's leash, though. Okay. Can you put your hands behind your back or do you have medical? >> I have a medical. >> Okay. Will they What's wrong? >> You see that? >> Can you let go of my left? >> Then we'll cuff you in front. Okay. >> Turn around for me. >> Drop her. All right, for now we're going to cuff you in the front. What? >> Shoulder injury. >> Okay, just be cooperative. So, okay. Short and of things right now. It's for >> Okay, >> I I got >> I need to person What does that card do? >> That card is supposed to help me just in case. >> Okay. >> I don't have anything. So I'm Can mom take dog for us for a second? >> Go to jail for nothing. >> Undecided right now. >> Okay, come here. I'm just going to search this real quick. >> Even while detained, the woman keeps insisting she didn't know about anything found in her things. She gets searched and placed in the car, clearly shaken. >> Nothing that's going to poke or stick me, right? Turn and face towards me. >> Hold on one second. Face toward me. Do you have a problem? All right. For just a second, we're going to put you in the back. Okay. I'm I haven't told you I'm taking you to jail, okay? We're just getting things figured out. So, no reason to freak out just for our safety at this point cuz you're you're getting upset, which is >> I have a medical You guys are going to make me have a >> I have borderline personality disorder. You'reing me out. >> I don't know. Can I talk? Can I talk? Okay. So, I'm going to check the pill. Okay. If the only thing you have is >> Why do you >> Because I don't I've never been I've never had any or I've never gotten in trouble. >> I've never gotten in trouble. >> I was a CNA for 14 years. >> Okay. This is >> So, obviously, we have to do our job and make sure. And the reason that I'm so concerned is because it does appear that you might be under the influence. I told you that. I understand. >> I understand what you're telling me. >> Is my phone still on the ground out there? >> I will look it up for you. Okay. I will look it up. >> I just want to know. I don't want to lose my phone. >> No, you're good. Um, it should be probably on the hood, but I will go [laughter] check. Okay. So, I'm just going to have you do one more thing for me. Can you pick your shoes off real quick? Okay. >> All right. >> I will bend over and cough for you. >> I believe you. >> I believe you. >> This is >> Okay. >> Just hang out for a few more minutes and we'll get you out. Okay. >> Now inside the car, she's completely lost in the moment, yelling and spiraling as officers try to keep the situation under control. >> TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL. I'm glad you have you. My dog is gonna and I'm gonna have myself because of you guys. Because of what? You can't charge me with you. I'm sorry. >> It all ends with a woman receiving a notice to appear in court on a paraphernalia charge. Number three, adult child refuses to move out. Police get involved. Officers show up to a home after getting called about a domestic issue involving a young woman who's been asked to leave. Here's what happens when they arrive at the residence. >> Right here, man. >> All right. >> She does not live here. >> Okay. So, what's >> just got off work. >> She's being disrespectful. We just moved here. That's why we moved away from where we was cuz all my girlfriend kids is so disrespectful. >> Okay. >> I don't want to take her somewhere. She got to get out of my house. >> Okay. So, she doesn't live here. She doesn't live here. >> Okay. >> You hear her? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. Just this. I don't want her here. She got to go. >> They going to take you somewhere, but you getting up out of here. >> I told you I was GOING TO KEEP TALKING. I WANT TO SPIT IN YOUR FACE, BRO. You hear >> What's going on? Give me Give me one second. I'm going to call the I'm going to talk to the police. I'll call you right back. >> Call the police for what? I'm in MY HOUSE. >> ALL RIGHT, SIR. I'M GOING TO TALK TO THE POLICE. STOP TALKING. >> STOP. >> And you get her OUT OF MY HOUSE. I WILL >> STOP TALKING. LET'S TALK. >> Just bring it down a level. Get this figured out. >> Okay. So, what's what's going on today? >> LONG STORY SHORT, NOT NOT EVEN ARGUE, MAMA. I SAID something like, you know, tell my little brother, "Don't drink." Whatever. Go back and forth. Boom. She left. It It was not not even that serious. My sister got into it. Whatever. not worried about it. >> He He feel like he want to get a man at his house, >> which he not. I'm not your daughter. I'm 21. >> So, >> NOT YOUR DAUGHTER. >> NO, NOTHING TO GO. SHE >> NOT TALKING TO HER. >> ALL RIGHT, LET'S BOTH CALM DOWN. >> Can you go into THE NEXT ROOM WHILE I'M TALKING ABOUT CONVERSATIONAL? >> YEAH, let's Can you just separate to the other room for me, sir? Just I promise I'll listen to you as well and then we'll get this figured out. But just to keep pensions down, >> that's that's what's going to keep it down. SHE HAS TO GO. YOU WANT TO KEEP TALKING TO HER. >> CALL HER MOM. >> YES. CALL MY MOM. >> Tell her the same thing. >> All right. Hey, bring it down. >> You think my uncle WILL CHOOSE YOU OVER ME? >> NEGATIVE. >> OKAY. SO, your mom's boyfriend. >> Whatever he want to be. >> Okay. >> As the officers try to talk it through, the woman argues that the boyfriend has no right to kick her out. She's frustrated and emotional, pointing out that she doesn't feel like she's being treated fairly. Do you live here? >> No. Okay. >> I'm visiting. >> How old are you? >> 21. >> Okay. Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. So, you came over to visit your mom. You guys kind of got into it. >> And now where do you live around here or do you live >> I live in I have a house here. >> But I live in Iowa City. >> Can you get bills here? She got to go. You better pay your phone bill. Where the >> Okay. >> The next room. I'm trying to talk. Do you mind just stepping into this? >> All right. Just so we can bring it down. Okay. So, come here to hang out with your mom. Do your mom go. >> She literally just stopped out for work. I always come here Mondays and Tuesdays so I can get job applications so I can not stay here but be down here full time. They take me home. They pick me up. Now, nobody wants to take me home >> because everybody in their feelings. >> Okay. When y'all going to >> So I was offering TO MY MOM NOT ARGUING WITH HER. HE WANTED TO BE A MAN OF THE HOUSE in the conversation. >> You're not disrespect. Don't say nothing to me. I don't dis I never disrespect him now. Don't say nothing to me. I'm not your I'm not. You have three daughters. He My mom only shares the little girl with him. She's at school. Then you have two other daughters somewhere else. Nobody in here is your kids to be saying anything to. By the time you got my mom, all of us was grown. Therefore, you're not >> siblings as well. >> YEAH, WE'RE ALL SIBLINGS. HE'S NOBODY'S DADDY. He wants to be in the man of the house so bad. Your three-year-old will be here in a couple hours. We don't have to listen to you. Nothing. My mom was here. Whatever. She left. Boom. She dealt with it. You want to call the police afterwards because you feel like you want to keep trying to attack my character and disrespect me. So, yes, I'm going to disrespect you up till there. >> The boyfriend then contacts the mother and asks her to explain the situation to the officers. >> Okay, babe. And would you please let this officer know what's my status, my living situation here? >> Gotcha. So with so with your daughter, um does she live here then or like we'll stay the night a couple days a week? All right. So my thing is so like there's so clearly you and um your boyfriend have residency here. My my >> right my thing here is um you know she sounds maybe like she's trying to get a ride to at least leave here until she's has a right to go back to Iowa City. My suggestion for you though is you know to prevent her from establishing residency here. You know I I understand you don't want you want to take care of your daughter and help her out. So you know giving her a place to stay a couple nights a week. Um I would just caution you know not to make it so frequent that she gains residency here. Yeah. Because >> when someone like is frequently here on a you know regular basis, >> they get what's established residency. And so when we have like >> Right. And it but it doesn't matter like if she's on the lease or not. >> It's if she's living here consistently. And even though it's not consistent like you know all the days through the week it sounds to me like it's been a pattern where you know Monday she drive she gets driven down from >> Okay. >> Okay. But she don't come here often. She goes to my brother house. He lives right down the street. >> Mhm. >> She can't she not I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear nobody DISRESPECTING MY MOM. OR NOT, LIKE I said told her last time, you disrespect my mom one more time, we gonna be up in here fighting. I'm not We just moved from a crib that we shouldn't have to go through that. You see what I'm saying? I'm the one that got to leave here and hear that she CAN GO. I DON'T ass bills here. >> Harass. >> The police try to keep the peace and suggest she finds somewhere else to go, at least temporarily. Here's how she reacts. So, >> and I don't ever want her back in my house. >> Okay. So, we'll talk to her. See if she can get somewhere to to wait >> to get the ride to go. >> City. We can do that. >> Hey, man. So, did you get anywhere with getting a ride? >> No, they're my ride. >> Okay. So, talk to your mom. She's at work, so obviously he's not going to give you a ride. >> No, I don't want him to give me a ride. This is my mom's house, >> right? >> So, >> but he your mom and him they live here, >> right? >> They've allowed you to stay here. >> No, my mom he has no allowance over. He's not on my birth certificate. He's not >> lives here. >> Yeah. >> He has res >> barely. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Well, according to the state of Illinois, he's established res. >> My address is my mom's address, literally. So, >> trying to figure it out. So, so what are we talking about? What we doing? So, [snorts] here's the thing is you do not have residency here. You know, you're you stay here infrequently a couple nights a week here, but it's not, you know, a consistent thing. >> No, it is. >> This is every single week. I'm down here every single week. I have to come back down here on Tuesday. >> Literally, this is every week. I don't miss a week. >> Mhm. Okay. So, do you have someone that can give you >> No, they're my ride. >> Okay. What about a friend's house that you can say? >> I don't know anybody down here. >> What did my mom say? >> Okay. Your mom doesn't want you here. >> Your mom was saying that you have a place in Rock Island. >> Yeah, but why the would I go there if I have no way home? >> Okay. But maybe that's somewhere that you can go to cool to let cooler cooler prevail. >> No, I'm not trying to hear nothing. I'm going to find wherever I need to go. I'm cool. I don't even have my keys to the house. So why would I go to a house there's I don't have keys to? >> She refuses their offers for help and says she doesn't have a ride or anywhere else to stay. The officers remain patient, but she continues to respond like this. >> Well, the thing is is >> I'm not staying here. I I don't I don't I don't give a rat. >> I don't I don't even want to be talked to no more. >> Okay. So, where where are you going to go? >> Sit right here until I find me somewhere to go. I I don't I don't have [ __ ] to say to y'all, him, my mama, nothing. They for all I give a rat about. And that's just how I feel. >> So, let's work on finding someone. >> That's what I'm trying to do. >> Okay. >> All right. Don't just just stop talking. >> Okay. Would one of your siblings give you a ride somewhere? >> They're not giving me no ride. There's only one car. THERE'S NO CAR HERE. >> OKAY. Got you. Okay. >> What if we give you a ride somewhere? >> No. >> I [snorts] don't need your help cuz y'all didn't do nothing. >> They don't want you here. I'M NOT IN THEIR HOUSE. I DON'T CARE. >> YOU'RE ON THE PROPERTY. >> SO, I don't care. I will gladly go on a public. I do not care. >> Perfect. >> I really do. Don't just stop talking to me cuz y'all are >> We can't leave. >> Okay. Well, y'all going to be sitting in here till I decide to walk on the public sidewalk. >> Okay. You don't need to make this any worse than it already cuz y'all are no help. >> I just offered to give you a ride. >> I don't need y'all ride. I'm not sitting in a police car. I've been I I don't want you. No, I'm I'm pregnant. I'm not sitting in no hard ass seat. I'm cool. I take my chances walking somewhere. >> Do you have a lot of stuff here? >> Yes, >> I do. I'm trying to I'm TRYING TO FIND A RIDE AND THEY OVER HERE DISRESPECTING ME. >> Hang up. >> Nope. Hang up the phone. >> I'm trying. >> Stop. >> I'M TRYING. >> STOP. Stop. >> I AM PREGNANT. >> GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. [screaming] >> STOP RESISTING. >> OKAY. Stop resisting. >> Stop. Bring your arm back. You're going to get charged with the resisting, too. >> That's cool. >> Okay, it's cool. >> I don't care. >> Okay, bring your hand back. >> Relax your arm. >> No. >> Yes. >> Cuz why am I going to handcuffs? Because you're refusing. I'm trying to find a >> Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. You're going to end up on the ground. Stop. >> And if you put me on the ground, we're going to have a problem. You need to stop resisting. >> Stop. >> You need to stop. >> No. >> You were given plenty opportunities. >> I know. Cuz I'm trying to find me a ride. Get the out of here. >> Stop. >> Pick up my phone. >> Save it there. >> Pick up my phone. >> Save it here. >> Pick up my phone. >> Are you going to pick up my phone? >> Nope. >> Or you just >> We're not going to walk. We're going to have to carry you. So, I'm going to get somebody else here to carry you to the car. Okay. >> The officers remain firm and keep trying to get her under control without injuring her, but it's not an easy process. >> Are you going to pick up my phone, David, or no? >> Are you going to pick up my >> Yes, pick up my phone and put it WITH MY MY BAG. WHAT THE you mean? >> Just leave it there. We're going to get the rest of her stuff. >> No, leave my Put my phone in my bag. In my black bag. on the bar. Just leave it there. I will come get my stuff. Put my phone in my bag. You're asking too many questions. >> The 21-year-old is arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest. Number two, hospital staff call police after woman crosses a serious line. Officers respond to a call from a local medical center where a woman is reportedly refusing treatment and becoming increasingly disruptive. Here's what happens next. >> Hello. >> What? >> Thanks. Police. >> What? >> Um, they're making allegations about you uh assaulting a security officer. Do you want to talk to me about it? >> No. >> No. What if I read your arrange? Would you talk to me about it? No, we can talk about it. Let's talk about me saying that I want to go to proctor and them forcing me to be here. Let's talk about um me needing to go to the nurse's desk to ask for a question and I'm locked back in here. >> Um so this is regards to I believe something that happened earlier and then now a security officer is making allegations. Can I talk to you about that? Unless I get what I want. >> Okay. So, if I just read you your rights, do you want me to read you your rights and get your statement? >> Yes, I can. If you don't want me to, you don't have to talk to me. >> I'm supposed to be talking to a nurse. I still haven't seen >> I think they're coming. >> So, they want to talk about their rights and what they got going on, >> but I can't give a phone. All my rights are being trampled on and y'all talking about what the going on with Summer. >> Appears that she was issued a notice to appear this morning. >> Hi. But this is a different this is this is the nurse now. This is Mackenzie. >> So line one. The woman appears disoriented and frustrated as medical staff evaluate her. Even with her behavior, a nurse lets her know she's being considered sober. >> Why don't you take so long? What time is it? What time is it? >> I'm not going to answer. >> What time is it? >> I bet you don't want to answer it. Where's my haircut? All right, nice long steady breath. >> How big can it go? Okay. >> She's not long enough for me. >> I just have you walk down this way. You're you're considered sober. Okay. >> So, what does that mean? >> That means that I can get you discharged. >> Bring the must so I can >> you need what from me or y'all just a bunch of liars. >> Officers then explain that she's under arrest, but she shows no interest in listening. She shuts the conversation down, denies everything, and refuses to talk through what happened. >> Need you to have a seat in there. That way, they can get your paperwork figured out, and then you'll get your property, and then you'll go with me. >> Okay. >> Why do I need to go with you? >> Because you're under arrest. >> Why? >> For aggravated battery. I told you we are the seat. >> No, you didn't. >> Oh, you were too busy yelling at me. You probably weren't listening. Have a seat. >> Oh, I was listening. You said you wanted to talk to me about an incident that happened and wanted my side of the story. >> I still like it. >> Back up off me. I don't like people walking up on me. >> Do you want to talk to me now >> or No, I'd like your statement >> cuz I got diversion. >> I don't know because now I look at you as a liar and I'd rather have your sergeant come down here and he can speak to me. >> Okay, have a seat. Go get your stuff. Go get your paperwork and then we'll go. >> Okay. No, >> sergeant. >> You want my sergeant? We'll have a seat. Then you can come down here and have a talk to you. >> I don't I I'm I'm right here. I'm being collected. I haven't tried to leave. I haven't tried to run. I haven't done anything. >> You're not going to stand outside in the hallway. Have a seat like this. >> I didn't say I was standing outside in the hallway. >> You are. >> I'm right at the doorway of my room. That's where I'm at. So, while we're here, would you like to talk to me about the incident? Because I have their version and a witness's version, and I'd like yours, yes or no, cuz I'm not going to I'll give you an opportunity. I'm not going to argue with you about it. And if you want a sergeant, one would be, I'm sure, glad to come up here. There's no reason for him to come up here, but you can. So, you want a sergeant, you want to talk to me, that will happen. In the meantime, >> her refusal to cooperate only makes things worse. The officer's patience starts to wear thin. >> No. Okay. >> One of those females requesting a sergeant. >> Um, she is getting discharged, but it's just a matter of how long that will be. Okay. >> So, it appears that this will go with you. This is from earlier >> an earlier incident, I guess, that I wasn't aware of. And then you have another charge as well. >> I don't even know anything about that. >> Okay. This is >> all I know is somebody asking me who I want to be treated by. I said I want to go to Proctor and I'm here. >> Okay. Okay. This is a notice to appear for a coordinate for aggravated battery against a nurse I guess earlier but this I'm here for a separate incident. Okay. So this was a notice to appear based on you being here and receiving care. You're being discharged. So then now you'll go with me with regards to another incident. So that's what we're waiting. My sergeant will come up if you want. Okay. All this information correct? 2512. What's cable? >> Thank you. She insists she just wants things to be fair, but her tone is anything but calm. The more she talks, the more she clashes with the cops. >> And what time is it? >> 7:30. >> 7:30 on the dot. >> Oh, great. >> 7:30 in the morning. >> Great. >> Monday morning, >> right? Monday. >> Yep. Sure is. And I've been asking for my nurse since 6:00 and you couldn't get me a nurse till 7:30. >> What was you? I've been here for like 10 to 15 minutes. So, it's not my fault. I do not work here. >> I just want to clarify that's not your concern for the sergeant, right? What's your concern for the sergeant? I want him to come up here. >> I want to make sure that I am being treated fair. I am being treated correctly. that it's understood my rights has been trampled on. I have a right to say where I do and do not want to BE TREATED. YOU KNOW THAT. >> YOU KNOW THAT AS an officer >> as an officer when they put you in that EMT and they say where do you want to go and I say proctor why I here. >> So do you know that has nothing to do with my sergeant? That's what I'm trying to do. >> He's not going to be able to answer. >> Do you know >> we do not make that decision. Neither does AMT. Do you know that? Do you know that I woke up at 6:00 this morning? You're telling me it's 7:30 until I refuse to speak to you or talk to them. >> Now all of a sudden, oh, there's there's a problem. And yeah, we can discharge her as long as we can take her to jail. >> Again, that has nothing to do with the sergeant. >> Has everything to do with your sergeant because your sergeant is going to be able to have that final say so over the that's going on. >> That's the hospital. We don't work for the hospital. Your concern? No, you don't. >> And your concern is the hospital. It's not with my sergeant. So, if he doesn't need to come, >> if it's with you, BECAUSE I CAN'T TRUST you either. >> Okay. So, your issue with a sergeant coming is because you can't trust me. >> Exactly. >> Okay. >> Now, claiming she can't trust them, she demands a more respectful exchange. Police decide it's time to take action. >> I won't don't want him to waste his time, but all your gripes and complaints so far have nothing to do with us. I don't want him to waste his time. >> They do. >> Okay, fair enough. >> Awesome. Cool. Thank you. >> Would you like to put your heels on >> or No. >> No. I'd like to make sure I have my >> That's why I brought it in here and set it down. >> I didn't ask you to. >> Well, that's what I did because they handed me the bag. your cri issue >> that should have been handed to me. Is it your belongings or is it mine? >> All right. Do you want your shoes or no? >> Where are my keys? >> Keys >> in the shoes. >> Keys are in the shoes. paperwork in your paperwork in there and grab your other shoe and your other stuff if you wanted to go with and there's your notice of >> and we will go to the parking lot and we can talk. >> Okay. >> Civily. >> Well, that's what we've been trying the whole time, but you've been yelling at everybody. >> Why do you think I'm yelling at every >> I don't really know for sure. Will you grab your stuff so we can go? >> Okay, I'll take this. Turn around for me, please. You're under arrest. So, you're going to be wearing handcuffs. >> You're under arrest for what? >> I told you aggravated battery. >> Once again, >> you'll have >> just because somebody said I did something doesn't mean I actually did it. >> And I said, will we be able to go out and have a civil talk? Still repeating her complaints, she drags her feet, literally when officers try to move her to the patrol car. Getting her inside is not easy. >> You said yes. And once again, you're showing you can't be trusted. That's why I don't trust you. That's why I'm asking for a sergeant. >> Okay, you can come up here. >> And what did I say? I don't trust you. And what did you show me? Can't be trusted. >> And I said, I would have got that. I asked him, can we sit out here and be able to have that conversation, but you couldn't do it? You're liars and now you can't be trusted. the same thing that I said. >> We will >> in the first place. >> Yes, I am. First of all, I don't like this hospital. You don't know what I've been through here. That's why I don't [ __ ] like this hospital. I've been through a lot. And when I said I don't want to go here, I want to go. >> And not to hit anybody. I haven't done anything. >> See, there you go. >> There you go. >> The wagon's on the way. They'll be here momentarily. Got to get all the way in. >> Get in, >> ma'am. >> Come on. Goodness gracious. You said you wanted to talk to me. Let's talk. Have a seat and we'll talk. >> I can't trust you. >> Sit. Get all the way in. >> I can't trust you. >> Even with the situation nearly wrapped up, she sticks to [music] her message. She doesn't trust the officers and she makes sure they know it. >> I'm going to put you in there. >> I can't trust. >> You can trust your ability to move your feet around. >> You can simply move it. >> Your things will be right next to you. You can take a look at them. Here's your stuff. Can see it. >> Sergeant's here. >> Far too early. Ben, >> the woman is ultimately charged with aggravated battery. Number one, Karen causes chaos at Holiday Inn, then faces reality. Police are called to a Holiday Inn after reports that a woman assaulted members of the hotel staff. Let's take a look at what happens next. >> I'm in the middle of all that. >> I do. Yes. >> Um very drunk. >> Very drunk. Just got in my face. Hands like this. Just smack me >> two or three times. >> All right. Just >> come on. >> 18 899 89 four. >> Oh, I didn't have a headache before. >> 556. All righty. Off to the right. You stay back here. >> Hi. >> Yeah, sure. >> Can you come out here for me? >> Broke my finger. >> Okay. Can you come out here? >> And I'm assuming >> No, you can come in here. >> Okay. Yeah, that's like me. Just do it. >> All I asked is, "Do you want medical attention?" >> I first of all was downstairs >> in the restaurant. >> Okay. >> And a man came in >> and they're saying, "Oh, this is how you all started this." So, they're basically >> when they find her in a room, she shares her side to the story, but things aren't adding up. um persecuting me >> before I even have a chance to even talk. I tried to call >> I tried to like call like a manager or something. >> And >> Barry disliked me because of that. >> But >> real quick, ma'am, I'm going to be the investigating officer. He's not.
