1012 here for the male subjects vehicle so myself and officer Staples got dispatched to lightmore in reference to an overdose a female that over us on fentel um when we arrived in the area I observed this chryler town of Country van that's behind you coming down to the intersection of uh carterton Heights and the female was in the passenger seat and looked just look didn't look well so I turned around the vehicle and stopped it just to conduct a welfare check um just based on my training experience I had a pretty good feeling that was going to be her um Turned out it was she immediately exited the vehicle came out talking about she had a warrant she she was the one that did overdose y yada yada uh the driver had him exit the vehicle as well uh he turned out to have a warrant through our agency um for failure to appear um it was issued in 2022 so um we arrested him and he's on his way to the jail with officer Staples at this time um the female had once to andison PD in the county um they were advised the first situation the county came out here uh they were unaware of her situation at the time once they were advised they their supervisor stated to advise her of the warrant and send her on her way so she can seek medical attention uh just in case there was an issue where the N can didn't fully get rid of everything in her system so uh she's been sent on her way uh we're waiting here for somebody to come pick up his vehicle and um he's on his way to the jail for his warrant to be served you might putting your hands up on the dash corner all right appreciate you're of it so takes us a couple minutes to get out of here all right we're uh probably about 30 seconds away from them i' at least say at least under under a minute uh we'll be out there but sounds like uh they may have the situation under control at this time so like I said it's a lot better feeling knowing that everything seems to be okay right now then when it first started and all you could hear was yelling in the background be that by the suspect or the officers it was kind of hard to tell all right this is the intersection that they're at we're just going to kind of look and see 786 1023 yeah had a open container in here so okay after that I'll inventory it all right y'all ain't hurt or nothing no we're good okay they just they didn't want to go with us they never do my friend they never do I guess they were running field sobriety on the subject uh for drinking and driving and uh sounds like subject didn't want to finish doing field sobriety and was being placed under arrest and decided at that time that he was going to fight uh with officers officers were able to get him uh detained and he is now on the back of the patrol car and he'll be taking a ride to the Oxford city
