Y'ALL DON'T [ __ ] with nobody. In the end, she doesn't just get arrested for domestic battery. She also picks up a charge for resisting an officer. Number four, she wanted the cops to handle it. Turns out she was the problem. A woman calls the police over a dispute with her roommate, blaming her roommate for forcing her out early despite booking the place for a year. As soon as the officers arrive, she dominates the conversation, cutting them off and refusing to let them question the other party. I'm moving out. This is a landmark. Hold on a second, okay? I'm listening to him and I'm listening to her. My story is different. I'm the one that's been here. I called the police on him before. I got that. I'm American. I know my rights. I don't care if you're American. He's Russian. RUSSIANS HAVE DIFFERENT CULTURE THAN US, OKAY? CUZ I'VE spoken to his wife. Apparently Are you going to let him tell me his side and then I'll listen to your side? doesn't matter. This is my case. Maria, you got to calm DOWN. NO, I'M PISSED. I BOOKED THIS PLACE FOR THE YEAR AND NOW I HAVE TO MOVE BECAUSE OF THIS GUY. YOU GOT IT. SO, I'M GONE IN 2 DAYS. KNOW THAT for sure, okay? We don't know that for sure that you have to move in 2 days. I I already got a place. OKAY. THAT'S WHY HE DID THIS BECAUSE HE HAD HIS ONE LAST CHANCE. NO, I'M NOT CALM. ARE YOU A ROOMMATE, a friend, or I mean, can you calm her down? I'm a Yeah. So, this police said I have another house and He doesn't know the story. And this lady will move to another house. I won't give up. You should But they don't get me. He's going to get I'm pressing charges. I don't care. I saw this start at the She was She started it Yeah, I started [ __ ] in front of him cuz now I can't hear him because you're screaming. Please shut up. hands on me now. Yeah. Yep. And he's a [ __ ] absolute no patience. I'm an American citizen and I know my rights. Okay, good. I'm off the curb. Thank y'all. I'm I was instructed to be quiet. Okay. So, why don't you why don't you talk to me? No, I'm already quiet. You talk to him now? I can only talk to one person at a time. That's why I asked you not to talk while you try to talk. So, this is what's going to happen. We're investigating a disturbance. Yeah. If you can't allow us to investigate it, I'm going to stick you in the back of a cop car. No, I'm being I was told that I was Okay, so while he's talking to him, all right. Yep, you're detained. Sir. And you're inside, you're going to get arrested. Go down here on the sidewalk. Why are you hurting me? Oh my god. You're under arrest. Sir, I got assaulted. Okay, bye a man. The moment she realizes she's being arrested, panic sets in and she starts protesting. Wrong move, Karen. Please stop. Why is he doing You're under arrest. Stop resisting arrest. You're not listening to me. Okay, I'm going to dump you Talk to you. You're going to go face down in the dirt here in a second if you don't put your hands behind your back. Okay, I my hands are behind my back. Stop resisting. I've called for the service before, okay? And I called you guys because I wanted you to be aware of what was going on. Okay. So, today escalated. I'm gone in 4 days. How did this guy assault you? Well, not him, honey. He's got in the house. Are you serious? You don't know what's happening? I didn't because I had half the story from him and you were screaming over him. Let's do it. Can we come talk to you? Okay, good. Oh, no, no, no. You guys talk. Thank you. He will when we're all done. Thank y'all. He said that he was hitting me in the face and I was scared. So, you need to follow him off with directions so that we can conduct I think I am, but you're just getting the worst hippy. I'm a good person. I'm moving in 2 days. I also have to work in a little bit, okay? I'm giving you a lawful order to have a seat and What charge? Will you talk to me for a minute so that way you get the actual story? Slide your feet in. Okay. I really want to talk to the officer. Slide your feet in. I'm not going to tell you again. Stop resisting. Why am I being detained? You're under arrest. Why? Obstruction. Can you please let my dog back So, what happened in the house with whoever assaulted you? Okay, so. That is the landlord. This is a man. Okay, the guy out front is the landlord. He only comes around maybe once every 2 months. He's Him and his wife owned multiple locations. All right. So, there's a house a street over that they own. And because this guy had been so verbally and physically abusive, I I booked the place till the end of the year and I have to move because of that. If you could still respond, we're not sure yet how many people are inside the house. All right, sorry about all that and maybe we can resolve it once she comes With her now in custody, officers shift their focus to the investigation, hearing both sides of the story. Okay, man. Patient is now safely on the ground. This is But who We all live together. So, this is a Airbnb. We all roommate with each other, so I'm roommate, he's roommate, this is the owner. There's another roommate that is inside, but he's sleeping. Without arguing with one another, what's what's the issue today? So, you had this place for a year, moving out in a couple days. I booked it. Now, you don't pay for it. You just book it and then I pay for it a few months in advance. It's an Airbnb. Right? She has a place a street over. So, when this guy started being physically and verbally abusive, I booked the other place. So, I'm moving in 2 days. All of a sudden, the guy that Russian guy is doing a walk-through and I came out and I told him I said this is the you're the reason why I'm moving and then he got up in my face. I don't care to press charges cuz I'm moving in 2 days. I knew this was going to happen. That's why I called the police recently. So, who is the guy that assaulted you? NOT THE LANDLORD? NO. NO. He's very nice. He's just doing a walk-through. So, who's the guy that assaulted you? The black guy. So, he's your roommate, your boyfriend, your husband? I've never met him besides here. I only know him You don't have to yell at me, okay? I I just talk loud. I promise. You guys think that cuz I've worked in music venues, I have hearing issues. So, is there an issue today with Did something get physical between anybody? But she's saying that it was physical. No, that's what she wanted to create. Is there videos or anything of any of this? There was that There was three three witnesses. Am I being arrested? Yes. Why? For obstruction. What does that mean? It means when you're told to do something and you don't do it, you get arrested. Well, can you release me? No. I have to go to work in a little bit. Well, you won't be going to work today. How do I do this? What do you mean? Well, you'll be going to jail. I'm going to jail? You don't have to post bond. Yes, ma'am. You're under arrest. That's what that means. That's what that means. You get put in handcuffs in back of a police car because you're under arrest. That means you're going to jail. No. have to post bond. Why would I go to jail when this is happening to me? The cops explain that she's being arrested for obstruction, but she refuses to accept it. She then starts worrying about her job and responsibilities at home. You can release me. I have This is my first day of my new job. I'm a waitress at Cracker Barrel. I got to go to work Can you tell me what happened with the guy in the house? When he got in my face like he's done before, the reason why I called the police before is because he likes to put his finger in my face and this time it actually hit my hand my face. So, that way I That's why I called the guys is because he has to know that he can't do things like that. So, this is pretty normal. Like again, this has happened before. Before? They got into it with another girl and then the cops were called and I came here to kind of mediate things. Regardless They started arguing about laundry. Nothing and they started yelling and getting into his face. So, I was like, "Calm down. Let's calm down." And then she went and called the police and I was like, "Don't really need to do that." And then she hung up and then suddenly now you hung up, now the cops are going to come because you hung up on the operator. He's very mean and he's the reason why I'm moving. And today How long has he been here? I don't know him like that. I he's It's a weird situation because it's it's an Airbnb. Okay, so I moved down here from I moved down here from Iowa. So, it's it's a weird situation, but we don't know each other like that little black kid. no relationship with him? None. No friends. We're I want to be friends with I'm friends with the other people that live in the house cuz I'm cool. I'm like a hippy chick. How many people live in the house here? Four. Yeah. And everybody has their own room? Yes. It's a weird situation, but I it was affordable and I had the fenced-in yard for my dog. That's why I can't be going to jail, honey. I have animals. Do you live here also? I live right here. Okay. Well, we want to see where we're at with all this cuz apparently there's a lot of people living here. Yeah, it's a freaking Airbnb with five bedrooms. A lot of people. Um she just kept getting in his face and she ran into his finger or something like that. Sir, you can just leave that on the ground. Yeah, you can just leave I'll As officers piece together the details, the truth starts to unfold. Oh, freaking house in this neighborhood and turn them into these hotels. Do dude with the pink shorts? Huh? The guy with the pink? Where is that guy? Here. This is your house, right? This is your house, right? What? You own You You're the owner of this? Yes. Yes. I I can't find inspection potatoes here. Unfortunately, this guy is a don't get along, so the lady that moved to this house because they don't He's going to move back over here, in your house over here, right? Yes. Like within a couple days, I think, he said. He was going like this and he got really close and it and it hit me in the in the face, right by where I have my scar on my face. And maybe it did trigger a little PTSD than the last time that a man hit me. He can't do that. It's not right. I know my rights. And I called you guys because I want to be protected. I want I want to feel protected by the the landlord witness it? Will the landlord witness it? What about the other person there, the the guy with the glasses and the guy? The shower cap? cool. His name's Damani and he's like, you know, he's going to be one of the people that Did he witness it? No, he wasn't in the kitchen. Just the landlord. So, I don't want to press charges. I'll go get a hotel room right now. I have to get out of here. I I have so much riding on my new life. Please Please pull some strings for me. Please. Okay. I'm going to tell I'll go get a room right now. I swear to God. Did you witness this incident in the uh kitchen between the Yeah, I saw it. Like I said to the other officer, this has happened before. The cops came out and I get the cops to I believe it was like three officers that came out. Um Did he strike her in the face at all? Uh it was me. And there was another guy that was watching, but I guess he left somewhere. But he No one No one hit anybody. Uh he had his hand out like this and she kind of like ran into his hand. Okay. I don't know how she did that, but she walked into his hand and I was like, "Let's calm down." It's just been tensions brewing for quite some time. And that's why she has been looking to get out. Nature of the beast. Yeah, yeah. Like seven you got people in here. That's horrible. It was like going back to Meanwhile, the woman remains clueless about her arrest, repeatedly insisting she's the victim. [ __ ] You're not dating? No. Husband and wife? Kids in common, nothing like that? No. No. Nothing. Y'all just share this house as separate separate rooms? Everybody have a separate Everybody have separate spaces. How long have y'all been staying here together? I'm not sure. Well, the thing is, when we showed up, we didn't exactly know what was going on. And she refused to answer questions and refused to follow directions. So, she's kind of at where she's at because of stuff she did. Not to y'all, but you know, we're not going to come here and mess around when there's six people standing out front and she's acting like that. And we tell her, "Stop. Tell us your name. Calm down." And she tries to run into the house. I'm going to go get her name and all that stuff. I don't want to have to go in your car, but I told my nephew my nail polish off. I When I just put my stuff on I'm sorry. I don't want to do that. What is your What is your name? My name is Maria. I'm really sorry about this. I just woke up and and I it just startled me and then I just took the opportunity to kind of confront him and then he hit me and hit me with your finger, but like it's still it's my right as a Can I just wanted to make a point to him. Can they keep your dogs? Who? No. You don't want them to keep the dogs? No, I mean no, that they can't. And are you arresting me? Yes, I already told you that. And I already told you we're beyond that, okay? So, let's just move past that. Okay. Well, how do I do this? I don't know how to go to jail. Well, I'll tell you. You go up there, you're processed inside. Can you please get me out of this? I cannot go to jail. I don't understand why I'm being your questions, but you keep I don't understand why I'm being arrested though. Like I haven't committed a crime and I have You did commit a crime. How? When we show up to investigate a reported crime and you refuse to follow directions I I was trying to be upset. were trying to run away from I was upset. It was scary because this man hurt me and now he's getting away with it. Despite multiple explanations, she stays defiant, refusing to acknowledge how her actions led to this outcome. Well, and I don't know person over there said that that didn't happen. He said no one hit anyone. Okay. Well, he did put his finger in my face and he hit me in the face with Unfortunately, you don't have any injuries that I can see and no one else is saying that that happened. Okay. The The The Damani, can I can you bring him over so I can talk to Can you tell him that No. Take care of the dogs. You Yes. Don't I need my ID or anything? Like I don't need that. But I mean, if you want to take some things, we can probably get it from your room. No, I don't want anybody going up there. Only Damani Damani has access. He's allowed. Damani. So, is there a person there or The boy right there. Right, I know which one he is. He can go get your Is it a permit or I don't need anything to go to jail. Okay. Wait, do I? I don't know how to do this. What about my phone when I get out? I mean, you can take it if you like. my phone's right there. Right, the purple one with the purple case on it. Yes. Yeah, you can I'm going to need that. I don't have any contacts down here, so I don't know where the jail is, how to get home or anything. Okay. We'll make sure that that goes with you. Please do. Please be careful. And will you ask him to please take care of my animals? Yes. So, dog and cat? No one else is allowed in my room. Damani can Okay. Okay, cuz I I trust him. All right. I'm not really going to jail, am I? Um feed in the car, please. Oh my God. Can you have him call Corporal Lentz so that I cannot come in? The woman was ultimately charged with obstruction. Number three, delivery driver loses it at Duncan, ends up calling the cops on himself. Next on the list is a male Karen, or should we say a Darren. This DoorDash driver completely loses it at a Dunkin' Donuts after waiting too long for his order. Instead of handling the situation like a normal person, he goes on a full-blown rant, throwing around racist slurs at the manager. Instead of just leaving, he makes things worse by calling the police himself. I know we're in bill. What's that? You're going to be glad I ain't going to What was going on? He um wanted service and I was going to give him service and he got all nasty and rude. I said, "Do you want service or do you want to be nasty and rude?" And then he started cussing me out. He called me a bunch of He called me a bunch of [ __ ] I asked him to leave. He still He kept He said, "That's why you get kicked." And he left. So, he called the police cuz he was causing chaos. And every one of these workers heard it and the people next door. And that's why he's calling an officer. He's right there. That's why he's Okay. That's what you guys wanted him to do was leave though, right? back. Uh we wanted him banned because of the racist All right. Yeah, he works for DoorDash. How you doing? Can I talk to you over here, please? He was short-handed. Hey, what was going on inside the store over here? I asked her I was like, she said, "Can I help you?" I said I've been walked past five times by by workers. I was like, "This order was supposed to be done. It's just 12 donuts. I had three people walk in and get a different order and got help. I didn't get help. And she's like, "Well, I'm not going to deal with rude customers, so bye. You're never getting your DoorDash." I said, "Then call DoorDash to tell them you're not going to do the order cuz I This is my job." The officers show up and listen to both sides of the story. The employees explained that he became aggressive and started shouting insults. And she wanted to proceed to say oh something about my mom something my dad. That's why I did call her the N-word. I'm sorry. I know I did. It is I'm sorry. But that's what she's acting like. I say it as ignorant. You're ignorant. That's what it means. Yeah, not exactly there. You could be arrested for that. Really? That's intimidation. that. Really? I did not know that. I say it is But it's just like I I There was two dudes that walked in and got help at the counter, had their orders rang up, and then got it before I even had my donuts. Like this [ __ ] was I'm telling you, 10 minutes ago. I've been sitting here 15 minutes. Like You call my girl. Well, the only thing they want you to do though I'll leave. is they want you to leave and you're not permitted to come back here or they'll sign a criminal trespass card. That's fine. I got to I got How do I I can't get a hold of who this is. That's the thing. What was your name? She really called the cops. That's crazy, you know. We're not doing our job. We're not doing our job. Hello. That That's That's when you I got the cops called on me because this lady at Dunkin' Donuts didn't do her orders. So, hold on. That That's when you go to demand request to talk to the She is the manager. manager. That's what she said. I said, "Where's the manager?" She's like, "I am the manager and now leave or I'll call the cops." I said, "I'll call the cops myself." So, she really called the cops because she didn't want to do her job and get my donuts. 15 minutes ago it was supposed to be done. So, I can't go to Dunkin' Donuts anymore and I could have got a felony for calling her the N-word because she's talking about my family. So, I could have called a felony for that. I didn't know that. So, I I still could. [Applause] It's It's ethnic What is it? Ethnic what? Ethnic intimidation. Ethnic Ethnic There's two ways to go with it. It's disorderly or ethnic intimidation. When it's reference to a confrontation like that, it could be bumped up to a charge. You're not getting a charge. Okay. All right. That's what I said. She doesn't want you here. So they're not pursuing anything. My dude's in the car. He's black. I'm not I'm not Oh, I understand that. But but under the circumstances. The officers let him know that what he said could actually be considered a felony under ethnic intimidation laws. He seemed shocked and tries to brush it off, but the damage is already done. I was just saying 292 96 9248. So? All right. Well, I love you. I love you. The issue is you've also had the the employees on the other side also complaining about I guess your behavior. Now you got to remember I wasn't here. So she's allowed to cuss at me and say stuff to me, but like she's not going to I'm just saying. I'm not saying who's right or wrong. I'm sorry. This is irritating. Like I'm doing my job. Player can you be type of suspension? I have a suspension. Does your buddy have a license? Cuz I can't let you drive. That's fine. I'm already Does he have one or? Yeah. Can I at least get in Can I sit in the car? Keys are in the dash. Like I'm I'm freezing. How you doing, man? I'm good. So your buddy here's suspended. Do you have a driver's license? Uh no. You don't have a driver's license? No, I don't. I'm calling I'm I'm You got somebody who might be able to come down here to drive for you? I'm I'm calling right now. I texted her to tell her to call my mom. So she can get picked up and come Can I shut my door? I'm anemic. What's that? Can I shut my door? I'm anemic. Yeah, go ahead. Keys are right there in the dash. We're not going anywhere. I'm going to have you step out cuz you can't be behind the wheel. Oh oh, can I sit in the backseat then? I'm freezing. Like my legs are purple. Yeah, hold on. We might have a problem here. What happened? I guess we have a problem, babe. And I got a warrant or something? I don't know. I have to check on something. Sweet. I don't know. He says we have a problem, so While talking to the police, he casually mentions that he drove there, which leads them to check his license. Turns out he's been driving with a suspended license. Did you call my mom though? I don't I don't I apparently I don't know. He said there's a problem, so I have to I have to step out with my legs turning purple cuz I'm freezing. Oh. Yeah. All right. I love you. Bye. [Applause] Can I at least know what's going on? No. Okay, just give me a second. I'm sorry. I'm just I'm Okay, but you're the one driving under suspension, okay? No, I know. Can I sit in the backseat? Can I at least get in? Hold on a second, please. All right. Here's the problem, okay? You live in the Huron County, correct? Yes, sir. You're outside of Erie County. Yes, sir. You have to post bond for your driving under suspension. Okay, how much is it to get out? Okay, you have to post 300 of 3,000. Okay. Okay? I can do that. Yeah. So put your hands out for me. my phone? Yeah, we can work on that. Do you have anything on you? Any knives, weapons, firearms, anything like that? Anything inside the car? Just my phone. I hate arresting people for No, it's it's your job, man. But you know, something like this. It's your job. You got to And were you able to get Were you able to get a hold of somebody to come down here to drive? No, she had to call my mom back, but I just had to check on to make sure that we are having people post under the So can I can I tell him real quick to go like have her take the car to get to my wallet and go get cash? His wife is on the way to come get the car. to give Can you Yeah, I know. Can I give it to him? Yeah, that's fine. That's fine. Tell her to use back here. I'm going to call my sergeant and see if there's something I can do. As they run his information, another issue pops up. He has an outstanding legal matter and has to post bond before being released. That means he isn't just getting a warning. He's going to jail. I did what I was supposed to do, man. Oh. I haven't been in a cop car in 5 years 6 years. Literally since 2017, man. I've been trying to stay on the straight and narrow. 912154 Give me 1 second, okay? Cash app Oop. What's that? Her cash app card is what he just asked what card. It's her cash app What card what He he was saying you asked him to ask me what card to use and it was telling him her cash app card. Okay. Her cash app card. Could you He doesn't have a license, but the girlfriend's coming down here to get the car. Yep. You just sit tight till she gets the car and then I'll run them over to the county. Okay. And then explain to her how to get to the county over here. Yeah, that works. Thank you. No problem. Okay. So I got to take you over to the county to post the bond. Okay. So is she She's coming down here, right? Um are you Did my mom come Is she coming to get you? She said she has to get clothes on. She's Yeah, yeah. All right. Well, I'm at she's or I'm at the the Hayes Ave BP right there on the corner by Dunkin Donuts. So just have her pick you up and I guess come down there and Does she have to go down to the jail to bail me out or can she do it over the Yeah, she'll have to go over to the Erie County jail. Yes. Um they want a money check or money order. Money check or money order? So you get those at? I have no idea. Where do you get them at? Uh like Western Union or Kroger's. You got to get a money order? Kroger's is right there. Kroger's. Just go to Kroger's and then go to the Erie County jail, which is where we deliver all the time. So You hear me? Yeah, but I don't have my wallet. All right. Are you leaving your wallet with him then? Yeah, he's got my wallet. Officers inform him that he needs to pay $300 to get out, and he now has to figure out a way to move his car before it gets towed. He calls someone to come pick up the car while he figures out how to post bail. And you got to So you got to get a money order, so it's going to be like 300 and like 311, I think, cuz the money order costs a couple bucks. So [Music] All right. I love you. All right. You having a Well, here's the problem. How long is she going to be? Where is she coming from? to be? Well, my mom lives down on Venice Heights Boulevard by the the apartments right there. And then she We are staying at a hotel on 250 in Milan, the boutique. That's the thing. Like I know the car can't sit here, obviously. Yeah. is it going to be? However long it takes to get from Venice Venice Heights Boulevard all the way to to Milan. I don't know how long that take, probably 20 minutes, 15 minutes. we can't we we can't I I got to If it's going to take that long, I got to tow the car. I can't afford that, buddy. I'm I'm spending $600 Unless she could come straight over from Venice Heights and move it real Can she move it to a parking spot? I can call her and have her move it to a parking spot. Like please, I'm I'm It can't be in this lot. It can't be in this lot at all? No, it's a business. Every place else like So basically, if you don't come get the car right now, they're towing it and it's going to cost $400 to get it out. Can I call your mom to have her move it? She can move it, but she has to move it to a non-business. So she has to take it to to her house and then walk back here and get her car. I mean, there's no It's a business. Even though I've had a car sitting in a business unless they call the cops. It's allowed to sit here for a little bit unless they call you guys. is we don't have the right to give you permission to keep the car here. No, I know that. So they're not going to do it. So that's where you're running into the problem. So can she at least take it to like Taco Bell or something? Like I know they obviously can say something too, but if she could come directly over here, she could park over there across the street, walk over and grab the car and do whatever she wants with it after that. I don't care. All right. I'm I'm going to call my mom. Just give me like 2 seconds to call my mom. I love you. Bye. I got to get her name real quick anyway. Wait. The manager? Yeah. Okay. At this point, the reality of the situation finally starts sinking in. Instead of walking away with a box of donuts, he's being transported to the county jail. All because he couldn't keep his cool. Another year. I know, man. That's how you live. How bad was he? He was calling her names, so Really? called her the N-word and all that. It was all on camera. Well, it turns out he's under suspension. He's got to post bond, so he got to go to the county jail. At least he gets something out of it. I know. That's what he did. I had a problem with him. He threatened to threatened to Don't up shoot me. Just now? No. Oh, wow. ago. Oh, this is a different circumstance. I told him he better not come back or he's going to get a trespassing ticket. He said he's not Is this documented? It should be. She called the cops on him. So, if anybody threatens me with bodily harm, I can You want him to charge with trespassing then? I mean, I know I don't I don't He's going to go to jail anyway, so Thank you. All right, man. Okay. All right. Hey, hey, mean to ignore you. The man was ultimately arrested and banned from the store. Sadly, the donuts never made it to their destination because the DoorDash driver took an unexpected detour, straight to jail. Number two. This woman's attempt to play the victim completely backfires. A woman calls the police accusing her ex of assaulting her during a dispute over their dog. She claims he pinned her down, tore her shirt, and blocked her from leaving, demanding $5,000 for the dog. When officers arrive, they find a much more complicated situation. Yeah, man. I just got busy with the type of my girlfriend. Um I was trying to I was really She was supposed to be at work. And I was trying to go get some food with me and my dog. We had I texted her. I was like the last time we had a fight, you know what I'm saying? Um she called me cheating and she decided to go behind my back and took everything and like leave while I was at work. I told her in the messages, "Yo, hey, this time I'm not going to let you do that, so you know, I'm going to be holding on to Max cuz I paid for And she didn't give me We share rent, you know what I'm saying? We're together, but you know, we share rent. She didn't give me the half the rent. Came short of half the rent. Couldn't afford to pay him this month. So, I've been paying. You feel me? So, I just said if you give me the the total, $5,000, which is covered the next 2 month rent and for Max. You can have Max, but until then I'm going to be moving out of my parents' crib. I'm going to be taking the dog with me. She pulled up. You know what I'm saying? I didn't I thought she had work, but I guess she was She pulled up. She ripped my car She ripped my keychain. It's on the floor. Over there, that's when the incident happened. My dog pissed on the floor cuz he was so scared. She tried to break into my car, break my window to try to get Max. Then I try to get away. I almost crashed into those two cars over there, so I stopped. She opened the door cuz she pulled the window down, opened the door, and she started punching me and hitting me. I tried to run away. Then she tried to go inside my car cuz my keychain fell lost and all my keys are on the floor. She grabbed my keys, tried to go in the car, tried to drive away with my car. I tried to stop her. She literally about to crash into those, so I had to drag her out. And then I got inside my car, and then as I'm trying to make sure she don't go in my car, she's punching me in the face. Lady out driving this car witnessed her punch me in the face twice. She's with her right now, you know, doing whatever girls do. She's with her right now, you know what I mean? Like she The lady over there, she grabbed her, and then you know, they're inside her apartment. She's still She's still here. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, you know what I'm saying? The lady, you know, covered her or whatever, but she's saying a whole different story, but you know, as I get I got her number. I told her I'll call her when the police come. You know what I'm saying? But I was saying my The ex-boyfriend tells a different story. In his version, he's the victim, not the other way around. Yeah, so Like right right when you called Like when you called Yeah, yeah, like you said I'm like, you know You doing the calling now, right? No, she called first cuz I you know, I ain't really trying to mess with the police like that, but you know, if you going to call the police on me for it for nothing, I'm just trying to get away from the situation. didn't do anything. I called the police again myself cuz I see they were What made her call the police Like what made her told her I told her, "Don't do this. Call the police." Cuz she said, "Oh, you can't take my dog." I said, "Bro, this is not your dog. Don't do this. Call the police." Like instead of hitting me, punching me, why are you not calling the You know what I'm saying? Were you sitting right here in the parking lot in your car? The car was Yes, I was right here in my parking lot. You were parked straight in or Straight in. Straight in, bro. Straight in. I was straight in in here. I didn't do I didn't do nothing to her. I'll show you the messages. You can see the messages for yourself. She blocked me, so I had to text her on the text now. You can see the messages for yourself. And the dog's in the front seat with you Always in the front seat with me. He's in the car right now. Look. You see I literally tell her um I hope you understand my reasons is I need 400 4,650. That's all the money for the next the next 2 month rent and what's left for Max. She said, "Where are you at?" I didn't tell her where I was at. I said, "You I said you aren't known for holding your word. You just want what's best for you, and now that you said you hate me, I know you'll do nothing to hurt me. I'm not trying to hurt you. I just want my money, and you can keep Max. That's all I want. My money, and that's it. I don't want no issues. I don't need to be with you. I just want my money. But she owes me about $5,000 worth of money. You know what I'm saying? And the last time the last time she left, she took my dog, and I said, "All right, well, if you going to take the dog, can you give me She stole the paperwork for my dog. She took my dog, took everything while I was at work, and just left me to come here to find out about it. When I called the police, they told me there was nothing I could do. Yeah, cuz we don't get involved in civil matters. Exactly. So, you think I'm going to let her take the dog this time? Why would I let you take the dog so you can not pay me? The officer digs deeper and finds out even more information that puts the woman in a bad light. I cannot do nothing about it besides go to court, and that could take how long, you know what I'm saying? So, I might as well hold the dog out right now, and you pay me. Like that's it, bro. It's It's like it's So, she located your vehicle pretty much. Yeah, she came back. She parked over there, and she she I I thought we were going to talk. So, I told her to come around, and then I pulled the window down a little bit. So, we're talking. to the driver window. Yes, came to the driver I pulled it down a little bit so we could talk. And she reached her hand through the window. You know what I'm saying? I'm like Let go on. Yeah, Reach your hand to do what? Like when she reached her hand in the car to do what? the door. To unlock it. the door. She Yeah, reaching like this Like this she's reaching like this to unlock the door. I'm like, "Yo, chill. I'll try to pull the window up." I It was on her finger. She was She was crying, so I was like, "All right, let me put it down." And that's when she grabbed my shirt, pulled my keychain off. You know what I'm saying? That's why You know what I'm saying? I had to get out cuz my keys are now cuz she has my keys now. The car keys. Yeah, the car keys. You feel me? So, now I can't leave. Is it a five keyless start? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Keyless start. So, you know, what if I if I leave, if I turn the car off, Yeah. I can't turn the car back, so I had to get the key. I opened the door, and the dog knows her, so the dog ran, you know what I'm saying? Whatever. And that's when she grabbed the dog, and I'm like, "Oh, I'm not letting you to grab the dog." So, I grabbed the dog, and the dog, you know, got scared, so he peed. That's all the dog's piss right there cuz he got scared type And then that's when I try to hurry up and leave, and that's when she started hitting me, so I'm like, "Okay, now I got to go." So, I just try to drive out, and I almost crashed hitting, okay. So, let me slow down. So, she reaching and boom. Yeah. Tried to open the door. You rolled the window up, crushed her fingers trying to get her to, you know, like take her hand out. You rolled it down. You know the way that it was. Oh, yeah. She pulls your shirt. The keys come out of the car and Yeah, yeah, onto the ground. And then you get out of the car because you're trying to get the keys, at which point the dog runs to her. The dog kind of runs to her, and she grabs the dog, and now I go get her and grab the dog myself. So, you So, you guys are like tussling and trying to get the dog from one another. Okay, then what happens? Then what happens is she I have the dog now. She tries to get in the car cuz she grabs the keys off the floor. What car? Your car? My car. Yeah. So, she grabs your keys. Grab my keys off the floor. Now that you got the dog. Yeah. She goes inside the car. Mhm. You feel me? And she start punching you. Yeah, front driver's cuz she's trying to drive off. I'm not going to let her drive off with my car. So, hold on. He says he was trying to leave when she reached through his car window to unlock the door. She then pulled on his shirt, grabbed his keys, and tried to take his car. So, she gets the keys to the car. You got the dog. You do After she grabbed the keys to the car, did you run to the car to try to get in your driver seat? No, the dog cuz the dog got scared and ran. So, the dog ran over there. Yeah, I know. You You picked the dog up. dog up, and I'm here now. Remember, she was on the floor over here. The dog ran. I'm here now again. She grabs the keys and just jumps into the car. From which side? From the driver side cuz I I reversed, and I'm about to pull off. So, that's what I'm saying. I'm lost cuz you're not saying you reentered the car. Oh, yeah, I didn't Well, I never like cuz when she opened the door, Could you say you got out to get the keys? When you said you got out to get the Did you fully get out of the car I'mma tell you right now. So, when when she when she grabbed the keys and she grabbed the keys, I tried to roll out cuz she's still hitting me. You didn't roll out. Reverse out. Reverse out. Reverse out cuz I'm like I'm stuck here just getting hit. I got to leave. And if I get out, you know what I'm saying? So, it's best for me to drive away and leave. And then that's when I get here. I try to turn cuz now she's like fully in the car. She opens the door. Now the door is open. You know what I'm saying? Now I'm like, "But I don't want to hurt my I was like I like to say long term. But if I hurt my car right now, that's something bigger than me just being cool right now, you feel me? So, I stopped the car. Now the door is open cuz I stopped the car cuz the door is open. Door is open. I noticed the keys are on the floor. The dog sees her. She grabs the dog. Right? She grabbed the dog. Now I try to get the dog back. The dog falls, pees on the floor, and runs. When the dog runs, she's just on the floor crying whatever, and then I you know, dog just runs right back here, and I picked the dog up. She sees the keys on the floor cuz she's already on the floor. Picks the keys up, jumps inside the driver seat. She's trying to drive away. I'm not going to let her drive away, so I grab her, and I pull her out of the car. You feel me? You know what I'm saying? And I put the dog inside. That's when she's punching me, and I get back in the driver seat. I'm trying to drive away, but she comes back, and now she's punching me. Now she's punching me and hitting me. And that's when that lady the dog in the back seat. Yeah, I put the dog in the back seat. That lady came. She's You know what I'm saying? She sees me getting hit. I'm like, "Yo, you see her hitting me, right? You see her hitting me, right? Like I'm not hitting her back, but y'all see her hitting me, though, right?" He claims he had to stop her from driving away, and then the struggle, she started hitting him. And then that's when she gets her, and she's like, "Come on, baby. Like Come on, bro. Like let's get out of here." Like you know what I'm saying? And that's when they go over there. And then I was parked here, but I saw them leaving. So, I followed them over there letting them know I said the cops are on the way. You don't got to leave. Like when the cops get here, we'll situate the situation. She said, "Oh, I'm just parking over there." And that's when she gave me her number, and you know, that's it. Like you feel All right. Hang tight, okay? After getting the ex-boyfriend's statement, the officer then questions the woman. We got into like a really big fight this morning, and then so I went to work, and I was coming back from work, and he was texting me that if I wanted my my dog, I had to give him like $5,000. And I didn't have $5,000, so when I came, I was in his car, so they were talking to him and we can talk about it but then I seen his car pulling out. So, I went over to his car to to see if he had to see if he had Max and I seen Max in the passenger seat so I knocked on the window, told me to come around. He put the window down a little bit. He was trying to close the window. I didn't want him to close the window. I wanted to get Max. And I tried to unlock the door. I don't know. I just wanted Did you reach into the car? To get Max. He hit my nose. I'll give you a towel. To get Max. I didn't put my hands on him. So at no point did you put your hands on him? put my hands on him. I reached my hands out the car to touch him. listen. This is the time to be honest. All right? I'm going to jail. It's still it's the time to be honest. nose. So af- after you attempted to get into the car by unlocking the door, what happened after that? He grabbed my hands to to pull me out the car and I grabbed his hands back. And then what happened after that? You know, we were grabbing each other and I was trying to open the door and he was trying to close the door. I just wanted Max and then he started driving off with the door open. And then Did you jump in the car? Yeah, after he after he tried to after he wrestled me to the ground. I grabbed Max and threw Max and wrestled Max to the ground cuz Max ran. So why why is the witness saying that you and also him were both physically striking each other? Yeah, that was after that, though. So you were striking him? After he strike me. After he strike me. So after the fact that you jumped in and did he push you out of the car once you once you jumped into the car? In the end, what began as a call to retrieve her dog ends with her in handcuffs. Huh? I just wanted Max. I just wanted Max. I didn't even want to fight with him. I didn't even want to call the police. I just wanted Max. He knew that. He knew I just wanted Max. Like I didn't want to Is there anything else you want to add to the statement? No? Instead of proving herself to be the victim, her own actions lead to her arrest. Number one. She wanted him trespassed, then she became the real problem. A woman calls 911 claiming a man is trespassing in her hotel room and violating a protection order. She insists he forced his way into her room, grabbed her, and wouldn't let her leave. The police take the call seriously and quickly respond to the scene. know this guy's phone number? Yes. I'd like to call him and see if he'll come out. You don't have to call. You'll Is he in there right now? Yeah, she thinks so. I guess they She says she's got a protection order against him. That's it. I met him at that point and he was driving and that's who he is. He came in with his girlfriend and I moved in room with him. He put his hands on me. I put him in jail and now I have no contact orders being watched. It's been months now and Oh, so it may not be valid anymore. If there were no contact order months months like every like it's just recently. How long ago was he arrested? Well, we'll look we'll look that up. Um So she came back to her hotel room today. He was inside. She tried to come to the office. There's no one here. I guess he followed her out. He threw her to the ground. So on and so forth. And this is your hotel room. He's not never stayed here. No, Lawrence I said he was helping me and he cuz he I have my ID. Lawrence paid for the hotel room? Yeah. But just for you, right? And he's not allowed to be in there. I'm not even supposed to have And you're the only one you're the only one staying in there. Correct. Okay. I'm not even supposed to have his things. Okay. I don't invite him in here. [Applause] If you don't have it I'm telling you that old text messages or something. I literally got mad and I just blocked everything about him on my phone. See if you can find it. What is he to you? Like do you guys have a kid together? Sir, I just met him I said I just said I was at Point Inn. I was homeless and he offered me to get stuff to stay in his room. He put his hands on me. I punched him in the jaw. It's been months now. I I got him Did you guys ever Come I I I I was I was walking down Did you two ever live together? Upon arrival, they listen to her side of the story while verifying whether the protection order is still valid. Never stayed together before? I don't know what to say. I know. These are just questions that I have to ask so that I'm certain cuz it's going to dictate how we Never lived together. We never stayed got married. We really really don't know him. I knew him for like two weeks before he put his hands on me that first time. Okay. This time. Okay. I don't know how he I don't know. I know my window I know I didn't leave my window. If I did, then yeah, that's my He ain't a big guy. He's very small. I don't know what he is. Well, we just like to try to resolve these as peacefully as possible. So if we can call him and let him come out, that would be preferable to us. I think okay, here. 786 Hold on. You said 786? Yeah. The two And I have a feeling y'all call him telling him to come out, he going to grab everything that belongs to me in my room. What's his name? Hi, is this uh This is Sergeant Longford with Tory Police. Hey Jeffrey. Um we're outside here at the Budget Inn. Can you come outside and talk to us? You're not under arrest. We just we're here. We're trying to figure out what's going on. Can you come outside? Well, we got a call here says you're not supposed to be in this hotel room. We want to talk to you. Are you going to come outside, man? Man. Does this happen often? It They like to be simple and just come out. What? It doesn't happen often. They can't just be simple and come out. I don't know. Y'all would just make it a lot easier for us. To ensure they have all the facts, the officers dig deeper gathering the necessary information before making a decision. Just stay out. All right. All right. We want to get a sworn statement from her and then Yeah, that would be Once you're done with that, 32, see if we can find a protection order. Yeah, no problem. All right. So just uh real quick, can you raise your right hand for me? Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Yes. Okay. So briefly You can put your hand down. Briefly explain to me what happened. Um today I came home. Probably like around I don't know. Probably like around 2:00 cuz um they said I was I've been out with my girlfriend all day. Um I came I don't I'm I'm pretty sure I locked all my windows. I locked everything. I came home and I see him like I don't know if my lights were on, but I know for a fact I didn't leave my lights on. So once I was walking going for my key in the door and I opened it, I didn't really see anybody. So I wasn't really So once I got almost to the back door, he was walking out. So I'm like, "Bro, what are you What are you doing here, bro? Like what Like how you even got in?" Like cuz how you even got How you How you even got over here? Like how you even got in our room? And like he been knowing that I was in this area. So that's how he know that we were in there and I had a tape on it. Um Uh at the at the I when we went in, he came out. I grabbed him. I told him to just leave her and call police. He wouldn't let me leave. So he tried to like basically was tussling in inside of that inside of the hotel and I was able to come out I was to a point where I was able to come out run to run to the office. As I'm running to the office, I looked back. He's He's basically running after me. Picked me up and he picked me up from right there. He held me up. Picked me up from the office. Held me out in front of the truck and then I basically I fell on the floor. And I fell on the floor. He basically tried to pick me back up, but I'm just like, "Please please like to I'm telling him I was like something on the floor like put me down. I'm trying to get my get my wallet get my get my wallet." But his hand ain't in the wallet on the floor. So he just ended up I ended up running away from him running house and he ran The officer takes note of the key details from the woman's statement and confirms the sequence of events with her. I don't know how they would get back out the house, but I had managed to get back out the house. I I hid over there by the pool. I seen those homeless people and I was just like, "Okay, I'm going to stay by them just just to try to get you know, on the safe side." And then got up and called police. And you know, but when I did go in there, he he was accusing me of So that's why I mean when I called. Okay. All right. So when you say 1:00, you mean like 1:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.? Yeah, 1:00 a.m. 1:00 a.m. 1:00 because he I mean I'm I'm not to be in her business, but I'm giving her about, you know, since a pastor, so it's just me and him that's supposed to be even even coming in this in this facility at all. Period. He's not supposed to even be here. He's not even supposed to have company. Like, I don't bring people in here. that. So, you came back here around 1:00, Mhm. right? Maybe 1:00 or 2:00. Cuz now it's almost it's like 4:30 right now. So, yeah, like like 1:00 or 2:00. 1:00 or 2:00 o'clockish. 2:00? All right. So, this has been going on since 2:00. All right. And this is just now that you've been able to call about it? Okay. But on my my phone was dead. I had Your phone was dead. Okay. went to put on the floor and I actually know how many people saw me fall on the floor. Got it. Got it. Okay. Yeah, I'm just trying to figure everything out. Okay. All right. So, just so I can reiterate it, you came home around 1:00 or 2:00. You noticed he was in there. And then you tried to came over here and then you said he picked the office people, but You tried to contact the office people? before I called y'all. Okay. And then he followed you over here. He tied me up when I was on the floor picking me up. Mhm. He basically held me all the way until I The only reason why he was able to hold me that long cuz I got I was I was sitting on the front of the truck and cuz I was kicking him saying like he hurt me or like something on the floor or I dropped something on the floor. That's the only reason he was able to let me go. Okay. So, he was holding you there against your will when you were trying to get away from him is what you're saying. Okay. And then after that you were able to get away from him. You were able to get hold of the phone and contact us. Yes, sir. Okay. All right. Meanwhile, the officers regrouped to compare both sides of the story, carefully piecing together the facts before taking action. Should be on you. I'll take it. I don't care. I'll take that. Sure? I got no problem. I don't mind. It's up to you. I don't mind. I got no problem with You still probably going to have to write up the whole domestic thing. I didn't catch her statement about him throwing her on the ground allegedly. What can I What can I do to help? This is going to be a rough arrest. I think you were over here. She told me that you were over here. She invited him here earlier. Oh, she said that? She told me she invited him here earlier. I don't care. You're not getting in trouble. Did you invite him in the house? Earlier today, but I told him he had to be She didn't even say that to me in the statement. And I told him he had to be gone cuz the pastor was coming. I didn't invite him back. She didn't invite him here initially. Yeah, she didn't even say that when I heard the statement. And they rescinded, so he was arrested for domestic battery and battery on Leon resisted. But they dropped everything. So, there's no no longer a no contact order. Okay. According to the man, the woman initially invited him over, but later changed her mind and wanted him gone. Since the no contact order had already been lifted, he wasn't technically breaking any laws by being there. So, what do we got here with him? Nothing. An allegation of battery. We're not going to go rushing in there. What he's welcome there. I'll see him later. Huh? So, she invited him earlier, but said he got to be out of here before the pastor got back. The pastor's out of here. Okay. Do we uh confirm the 10-35? I said I'd do it. Austin said he'll wait and he'll take the OT. You want to do it? All right, then uh let's Right here. [Applause] The officers quickly realized the situation isn't as straightforward as it seemed. Because she allowed him in, they can't arrest him just because she later changed her mind. Do you have a little phone bag or something? Yes. Okay. Do you think someone locked Yeah, it's a good thing. Then, out of nowhere, she makes a bold move that changes everything. [Music] WOAH, SHE'S RUNNING. OH, I GOT TO PUT 10-31 ON FOOT. GOING SOUTHBOUND. HERE. IN THE BUSH. IN THE BUSH. IN THE BUSH. OVER THERE. I'M GOOD. I'M GOOD. GET HER. I'M NOT GOING TO RUN ANYMORE. I'M NOT SCARED. That's where I need help. I need help. I'm not scared. That's where I need my medicine. I need my medicine. Stop. I need my medicine. the car and bring you here. Please please give my medicine, please. Come get up. Stay in the car. I'll get it. Anybody say we got her? Over the radio, guys, did anybody say we got her? That camera's on. All right. Straight up? Don't even worry about the paperwork? I don't have anything yet. Hold on. Yep, I got it. I'll get the printout. All right. Do you know how to write it? Yeah, add that in. Just going to be an additional charge. In a shocking twist, she goes from demanding the police remove someone to being the one in cuffs. Huh? Resisting without additional charge and then I'm sorry. Can I talk to you, please? And then basically, well, you know, Sergeant. was detained in handcuffs on the way to the patrol vehicle, she broke free and uh All right. What's going on with the uh the other thing? That We're not worried about that? What other thing? The original call. Sergeant. The original call? The reason why we're Sergeant. Oh. Sergeant. Sergeant. Yeah. Separate case number? Or is it too late? There's no case number right now. No case number. Sergeant. Okay, so do us do us a separate case number for your 10-15. And Ian does a the original case number on this one. All right. So, I'm going to pull case number for this one right now. Yeah. All right. All right. So, I'll do another a case number for this one right now and then I'll call it out for another Sergeant. Sergeant. Sergeant. I All I have is her info. I'll MCT it to you. All right, thanks. What's that? Can you get my phone that I plugged by the office? Oh, you have a phone that you plugged? When I walked the way I plugged it up on the floor. I'm on adrenaline. I'll be all right. Quick slip. All right. Okay. Yeah. Your fingers good? That That this one? I I was sorry, you guys. Trick it. What do you mean? Uh I was second this one looked quicker. I was like, you didn't break a finger, did you? I sure hope not. I wasn't thinking, sorry, you guys. I was not thinking clearly. I have been off my medication for about a month. I just got back on it. No, I don't know what made me run. I don't. I just No, but nobody sees that and they don't want to get help. Instead of the man being arrested, she now faces charges for obstruction. Watching Karens dig their own graves never gets old. Which one had the most ridiculous meltdown? Drop your thoughts below.
