So, I'm going to talk to y'all here in a second. A man claims his ex-girlfriend just attacked him, and witnesses back up his story. They say she had already been in a fight with him earlier, and instead of leaving, she returned to continue the argument. All right. So, what's going on? Cuz we were just over here. Yeah. So, that's her ex, whatever. He has her phone. She came to get her phone and her shoes from him. Okay. He just literally just broke They just broke up today. Whatever. She went to go. The mom said she was allowed to go in and get the phone. Whatever. Soon as she went to the door, he snatched her up and threw her to the ground and got to hit her. They got the fight and basically he don't want her to go get the phone in the house cuz his baby mom in there. I'm pretty sure that's what's going on. All right. So he got to choking her out, threw it to the ground. She got up and went crazy. I've been trying to get her to calm down. Okay. She she just wanted her stuff and that's all I'm taking from this. And she she she really upset like she literally was taking care of this boy and they he went back to the baby mom. No, I get that. So, calm down. Okay, calm down. They're not going to help you. Calm down. Right. So, I've been trying to get her to calm calm down. Right. So, were you you guys just over here like 20 minutes ago? I don't know. I don't think so. I'm not sure. Okay. So we literally were we were literally just here that they they got in an altercation like maybe 30 minutes ago. Yeah, she so she was she did she like Is that that car that she she is that's her car? Yeah. Okay. All right. Are you driving? No, she was driving. Okay. I was about to drive her. Yeah. Has she been drinking? because it seems like she something's going on. She come like Did she come and like pick you up and stuff? Okay. All right. How long ago was that? Like probably 20 minutes ago. Yeah. Will from there to here. Meanwhile, the victim explains that she showed up to get her belongings but started a fight instead. So, what happened, man? She just beat out of me, man. Well, remember what I told you? Stay inside so this doesn't all happen. My mom listen. My mom could tell you everything. Word for word. I was outside. My mom was outside. I said stay inside so we don't got to do all this. So your shirt's all torn up. You got into it again for nothing. We were standing right there waiting for her to come back. She We were doing our part. We were literally sitting there waiting for her to come back so we could pull up. She'd be right there like we were going to, but we go all go outside again. And all this happens. So what happened? I was outside. Okay. I'm outside telling her like, "You can't come back over here. You cannot come. You cannot do this drama." She clearly been drinking. Her feelings is raw. They just broke up today. You understand? I understand. So, me and my youngest son, we standing and he's standing just like he's standing right now, standing in between the door. They get to push. Okay. What happened this second time you're swinging right now? They get they get to argue. They are fighting in between me, my son, her sisters. Like like like this is craziness. I just don't throwing straight blows to my face and then her sister came in. Boom. you. Do you need Do you need Do you need an ambulance? No, I really don't. She came over. She was She started beating on the door again. What happened? She They were fighting each other. Okay. How did it start though? Did you guys Did she come over and start beating the door? My mom is not going to explain it because them right there, they threatened to uh come bring people over here to shoot us. So, she's not going to explain it. My mom like my mom said, she explained. She went over there. She went to go try to talk to her, tell her that she can't come back over here no more. As she's saying that, she's yelling at me. She keep walking up and trying to go into the house. I have a little baby upstairs. I'm don't want to bring that into the house. So, I shut the door. Nice. The man says she kept trying to force her way inside the house even after being told she wasn't welcome. Here, she asked for her shoes. I threw the shoes out right there. Told her she could have them. She kept saying that she had more stuff in my mom house. I I don't have nothing in my mom house. Nothing in my mom house. She She literally got mad and threw the front first punch literally straight to my face. I got m I grabbed her. I probably I probably did pressure out of out of her reaction, but like I did not I did not physically like boom boom boom trying to beat her up. After I after I do that, she just start boom boom boom boom boom. I'm against the door. She just boom boom boom. Her sister come in. Boom boom. Her little cousin come in. Boom. My mom and literally just blocking me like this. My little brother trying to block me like this. Like she knew what she was doing. Like come on, mom. All right, just stay inside for me. Okay, you guys go back inside but just be available. Okay. If I can talk to you again, just stay inside, but be available to knock on the door. Even his mom was telling him like, "She's a girl. Don't." He was punching her, threw her on the ground, and she a heavy girl. He went strong on her like ain't no way. I need some water. Desire has some What's his mom? I have no idea. The woman still in custody refuses to take responsibility. You have any medical history? I'm a medic. No, bro. What's my hair at her house? Please. Do you want to go to the hospital? Please. Yeah. What? What? For real? So, what is y'all doing? What is they doing? She's going to go to jail for obstructing and resisting. It's got nothing to do with you guys pressing charges. I don't want to press no charges. I know. And and the obstruction and resisting aren't your charges. They're our charges. I got to go. Can you call my job, please? Where's your job at? That is in my phone, please. Where's your phone at? Ma'am, can you step over here? You about to shut me in here again? Can you open the window? Yeah. Yeah. Um, y'all going to tell her car or can it stay there and have my dad Can you have my dad come get I don't know where she went. I mean, so you're you're a god friend. She's my kids go. Okay. So, she's okay. You're a licensed driver. No, that's why I said, "Can my dad come get my park and I have my dad come get it." Can you call my dad? I'll leave it out for her. I mean, that's her source of going to work. As long as she's cool with it being parked over here, probably I'll park it for her. I mean, I don't have my license, but I'll park it in there. I don't know what I told you this would be. I'm a mom, man. I don't know what I don't even know what to do, baby. Like, hey, you're watching her so I can just get the the officers get statements from everyone involved and prepare to transport her. How you doing, sir? My daughter, man. All right. So, pretty much her ex-boyfriend, I don't know if you know this gentleman, they're they're in some type of Yeah. altercation, right? So, apparently she entered the house. They didn't want her out of the house. They're out here throwing punches at each other. Uh we were just out here like maybe 20 minutes ago. I guess she assaulted him the first time, then left. So, we we're sitting down the road doing our report. Uh they call again. She's out here. Um recognize her from that call, tell her to stop. She continues towards our vehicle. We go to place her in handcuffs. while trying to place her in handcuffs. She breaks loose and starts running towards this house. All right. So, uh we took her to the ground, handcuffed her, and now she's in the back of the patty wagon. Uh she's going to be go to Summit County for obstructing resisting. Um she should she should No, missed me there. Yeah, it was she wasn't like throwing punches or anything at us. It was just she she ran tried to run while we're trying to place her handcuffs. Um, so pretty much she'll be in before 4, so she should get arraigned in the morning. Go before a judge. She'll get out on bond, probably like a signature bond, and you can pick her up. I don't know what she wants you to do with her car. We can leave it here or you guys can take it. Uh, we don't really That's up to y'all. She wants you to take it. We want you to take it. I'm going to get my brother-in-law to drive it cuz I think obviously I can't I can't drive two of them at the same time. basically I told you that you want to go talk to No, that's so No, she really just wanted to try to run from her stop and just chill and then she she had a hold of her hand. She just like listen to us and he tackled her. All we would have done is just put her in handcuffs. She's like, "All right, chill. We'll just go talk to them." Then we would have interviewed everybody and we've been like, "All right, we let her out the handcuffs." Inside the transport vehicle, the woman continues the drama, insisting she's the real victim. Listen, we tried to tell her she was going nuts. Yeah. If it wasn't for her trying to, you know, rip away from us and run back up here, it would have been nothing for you to get her like that. But we're getting ready to take off. I don't know if you have any anything else you want to talk to us about. Let me say she gone. [ __ ] It's over. Damn. Yeah, there's nothing really for us to do now. I mean, all right. This is what it is at this point. So, listen to her. Talk to her. Okay. All right. We're going to take off. Y'all are good. Everybody's good. All right. All right. I can't feel my arms. I can't feel my arms. We're going to We're going to take care. Is it the cuffs? I don't know. I can't feel my arms. I've never been to jail before. Okay. Well, do you do you understand what's what's happening? Okay. Okay. My name is Sergeant Or with the Police Department. So, what I'm here to talk about, I'm not here to talk about what what you're doing at the house. Okay. What I'm here to talk about is your interaction with our officers. I didn't do I just tried to move and he tackled me. Okay. Well, I listen. I'm I'm going to review the body cam. Okay. So, we'll go over that. I'll be able to I'll be able to hear what we said and we'll set up my arms like I can't feel them. Okay. Well, we'll we'll Hey, Kranic, do you have a second set of cups? Can we use two sets on here? Desire, can you can you kind of can you shimmy me that way? Let her so she can get in here. You've got a second. that I would uh that would probably make things a little easier on her arms. Now, is that better? At this point, the reality of the situation starts sinking in. So, again, I'm here between for the interaction between you and the officers. So, what what took place? How did it start? What can you tell me about it? So, I got something in my mouth. I I can't help you with that right now. Okay. Looks like you got a lot of metal in there. Hey, it's a piece of hair. It's stuck. I'm not touching your mouth. I'm sorry. That's just something you have to deal with for a second. Okay. Okay. So, I have I That's my That was my boyfriend at the time. So, Okay. I pulled up over there. Current current or ex? My current Okay. I'm just trying to clarify. Okay. I don't know you. You don't know me. So, I want to make sure I understand the situation. So, that was my current boyfriend. Okay. Yeah, me and him got into an argument, but we always argue, so I never thought it would have been nothing like this. Just typical relationship stuff or I done called multiple times cuz me and him was fighting and he done pulled weapons out on me. All type of stuff. He didn't came to my job and moral force, everything. So I had pulled up over there. I was going to go talk to his mom cuz me and him got into it recent the night before. So when I went there, she wasn't there. So I left and then I had to pee. So I tried to go back in the house and he pushed me and we start something crawling. It's just it's just a bug cuz we got the lights on here. They're getting on me too. So he pushed me and we got to fighting. Okay. This kind of like a mutual thing after Okay. Yeah. So we got to fighting and see get me too. Jesus. So we after we got to fighting, he was trying to push me out the house and stuff, but mind you, I used to live there. So it was like you pushing me out somewhere I used to live too. Now instead of leaving with her belongings, she's headed to jail. So but you you I you mean you've established residency somewhere else in the meantime? Yeah. Okay. So it was that and then after that I had walked outside. Y'all had pulled up. Okay. But before y'all pulled up, me and him was fighting. We was fighting and he had my ponytail. He the reason my ponytail loose right now. His mom was sitting in the middle of us and we was fighting. I didn't want that to happen cuz I really love him. Like it's a lot. And we was fighting and he was punching me in my face and y'all pulled up and then I was trying to I was in my car and I got out my car and when I got out my car he was screaming that's her right there. She did it. She hit me and this and that and then they tackled me and I tried to move away and they tackled me to the ground and it was telling them like I got bad asthma. Like y'all could look at my medical records. I got bad ass. Okay. And they was just on my chest and I was panicking cuz I never Are you on your back or on your stomach? I was on my I was on my I was on my stomach. They was on my chest and I was telling him like, "Y'all handle me too rough. Like I'm really my I might be big but I'm fragile as I didn't listen to." The officers officially charge her with resisting arrest, obstruction, and assault. Number four, hotel kicks out cheating woman after she attacks boyfriend. Moments later, she's in cuffs, sitting in the back of a patrol car. Would you like to give a test, a breath test? No, I I know I'm drunk. Okay. So, no breath test. Okay. I mean, if you need to know where I'm at, that's No, I mean, it's up to you. You don't have to take it if you don't want to. I just have to offer it. Is that your phone? Okay. Do you have anything else in your pockets, ma'am? I have an ID and I should have an ID. I have an ID and I think I have a debit card. Do you want me to grab it? Can you reach it? I should maybe not. I don't know. Okay, we'll figure it out. And Amanda, it's P E A R T. As officers finalize her arrest, hotel staff reveal the boyfriend's side of the story. He's saying something about like he saw in her phone a guy or whatever I was texting her, calling her and he inquired about it. She got upset and punched him in the mouth, but he didn't want to press charges or anything like that. So, I told him, I said, "Listen, um, you're drunk. You've caused an issue at the bars and you come here, you guys cause an issue here. You are subject to being arrested right now as well. Go to your room. Stay there. Do not come out." And he's like, "That was my plan. and I just wanted to, you know, have an opportunity to tell you guys what happened. I said, "Listen, that's fine. Go to your room." Off he goes. They were up there earlier. I don't know if you heard the call. Yeah, I heard the call with the with the bar. They got into a fight and then he locked her stuff in his car, wouldn't let her get his stuff, went back to the bar, left her outside, told her to walk home. We came, dealt with her. He came out, was all sorry, gave her her stuff. They made up. They were going to walk to the hotel and be done with it for the night. And we'll Here we are again. Yeah. All right. She ends up in county jail for public intoxication while her boyfriend is left to pick up the pieces. Um, all right, Amanda, I got to read you something here. All right. So, who else is in the house. It's just my brother and then her baby. Can you get him for us? Since she refuses to cooperate, the officers have to rely on the man's statement and what they observed. And then after this, then you can go. Yeah, we are. So, how about now? I want to press charges for you. How about that? So, y'all don't have to let me press charges for him dragging me across my floor, right? Come over here and we'll discuss it.
