They came in loud, smug, and convinced they'd outsmart the cops, but the only thing they walked away with a court date. Here are five cases when dumb Karens think they're smart, but the law is smarter. Number five, woman loses it on boyfriend, ends in cuffs. Officers respond to a domestic call at an apartment complex. A man reports a heated verbal argument with the mother of his child, claiming she spat on him and pushed him during the confrontation. Tensions are already high by the time police arrive. She's right here. Me and my my my son's mom was having an altercation. Okay, that's pretty much it. You guys love Taylor? We Yeah, we we stay her mom stay over here. I brought her up to her mom's spot because she asked to come to her mom's spot. And then she changed her mind after, you know, had me going around taking the little man to get diapers, etc., etc. And I told her from the jump before we got over here that I don't think it's a good idea you go to your grandma's spot because it's late. And I told her if I take you over there, you're going to have to find your way back over there because I'm suggesting that it's it's not a good idea. like if you go over there, you're going to have somebody over here from over here bring you back. I'm not coming over there. And I brought her over here. She changed her mind. She didn't want to go no more. So I came to her mom, you know, uh uh knocked on me there and was, you know, I've been coming to her mom about this several time asking for help. So I came over there, asked for help, was like, "Yo, you need to tell your daughter cuz she's wasting my gas." I told her it wasn't a good idea to come here. She had me come here and now she don't want to she don't want to, you know what I'm saying? She don't want to get be over here no more. after I told her it wasn't a good idea. So, it was just like now you messing with my time, my patience, all of that. Besides the spinning, anything physical? Nah, nothing physical. Like, as soon as she sped on me, yeah, I spazzed as far as like, why the [ __ ] you spitting on me, etc., etc. Her mom got in the way and was you not hitting my daughter? I didn't have no intention of hitting her. I was just upset that she sped on me. And that's when her mom was like, "Oh, I'm telling them that you hit me. Why would I hit you? Why would I hit you if I came to you for help?" It don't make no sense. Of course, she's on her daughter's side cuz as soon as you know her daughter spat on me, she got in the way. She instead of telling her daughter, "Why did you do that?" She got in the way and was defending her daughter. So, I spaz on her, too. Like, you not you're not going to even disappend your daughter for doing something so disrespectful like that. So, I spaz on both of them and I was on my way. And that's when Before continuing the investigation, the officers do a quick search on the man for everyone's safety. Do you mind if uh I check you for any weapons? I don't have no weapon on me, sir. Let me just honestly, I just told him I had something to do. So, if we can make this as quick as possible, I would like to get out of here. Did you get in a fight with somebody all day, every day, all the time? Why isn't he uh He's already working on all the paperwork. Yeah, he didn't have a statement. Okay. Hold on. Or let's just do one picture. Wait. Okay, I'm back. My son. What's your son's name? I need to see my son. What's your son's name? My mom. Does your mom live here? My grandma does. Your grandma does? And your mom lives with your son? Yeah. Your son's in good hand. Okay. Yeah. Hold on. We're going to talk through this together. Okay. Cuz I want you to handcuff me. I'll listen. But I want to see my son. You're not coming back out of handcuffs. Okay. Why? You guys got in a fight today. He hits me. Why is he not in trouble? I don't know. Okay. I don't know. Okay. I'm just talking to you, trying to make sure that you're breathing, you're okay. Okay. Why? Why is that the law? Why? As soon as you guys do that, I can't get out. Why? Why? I have $75. Can I give you guys that? No, please. It doesn't work like that, huh? That don't work like that. Have you been arrested before? No. No. Have you ever had any criminal history at all? No. I'm scared. Has he ever been arrested before? For what? Domestic violence. I guess too me. She insists the man has heard her before and questions why he's not also in cuffs. Officers listen but focus on diffusing the moment rather than making immediate judgments. How long ago was that last time? I didn't call the You didn't call? No. So So how did he get arrested if you guys didn't call? The other times I didn't call. Okay. You didn't call? Also, he's never been arrested. He has. I got I've got some in the back seat. Can I please my son? Step out real quick. Why? We're just going to move you into a separate car. Can I please? Let us get the car for me. Can I get one? You got a cell phone. You want to go with you? No, I don't have nothing. You don't have a cell phone? No. We're going to walk over to this phone call. Can I see my phone? in the car. Do you buy your story or is this just a lastditch play for sympathy? Sound off in the comments. Number four, trespasser lies to police after turning private property into a campsite. Officers arrived to find a woman outside an apartment complex surrounded by a dog and a curious mix of furniture. Here's how things unfold when they start asking questions. Oh, you uh live over here? Yeah. You live in these apartments? And I'm just hanging out here on a Saturday night with my puppy dog. And yeah, so is there some? Yeah, a little bit. What's that? So, well, where' all this furniture come from? Did you have a complaint? Yes, I did. This ain't my I don't know where this came from. Okay. So, what's your apartment number in here? I'm just sitting here. I have a friend that lives here. Oh, see, now the store is changing already. No, I already told you. No, I asked if you live there and you said yes, but that's not true. No, it's not. That's I know. I stay with a friend here sometimes. Mhm. But jeez, why you got to shine in my eyes? It's not in your eyes. It's shining down here at the ground. You got some ID? Why? Well, cuz you're intoxicated and you don't live here. And you obviously don't live here. Do you have an ID? I do. Okay. Well, let's see your ID. All right. So, I'm not the one you want to play this game with. I'm gonna tell you that right now. So, you can cooperate. I am Central 94, please. I'm homeless. There you go. And I was just waiting on my friend to come back out. Mhm. And she hasn't came back out. Uhhuh. ID. Nope. We're good. Negative routine. And well, you're trespassing on at least two different properties right now. So, you're going to produce ID actually from the palm trees over to there. When informed she's trespassing on both private and county property, she refuses to cooperate and continues to stall. This is county property. Well, guess who I work for? Who do you work for? The county. So, you're going to provide me ID or you're going to end up going to jail for no reason right now. So, why would I go to jail? I'm not doing nothing. All right. I was sitting here waiting for my friend. Mhm. So, am I doing Give me my an ID or you're going to go to jail. That's where we're at right now. Why am I going to jail? [Music] said, "Oh, I I got my ID right here, sir." My goodness. What? I was just sitting there waiting for I wasn't doing nothing wrong and I didn't What happened to your ID? It's like [Music] There it is. So, you can stand up. No, I'm Hey, hey, hey. out. Oh my goodness. Oh, hold still. You just sit now. Get off me. Hold still. You just smash my brand new glasses. What are you doing to me? You're under arrest. Why? County ordinance violation. I didn't even I didn't I didn't even do it. Put your other hand behind your back now. I didn't even do anything. Put your other hand behind your back. What are you doing to me? You're under arrest for county ordinance violation. Why? I was just fixing to give you my date. Yeah, you're out here. You're out here drinking a beer. I was not drinking. Yeah, you were. As the officer attempts to detain her, she pulls away and insists she's done nothing wrong. That's fine. I just need to get her other hand behind her. What are you doing to me? Put your hand behind your back. What are you doing behind your back? Put your hand behind your back. Stop fighting. What are you all doing to me? You are detained. Do not fight. Oh my goodness. I was just sitting there. Yeah. Drinking a beer. So, violation of county ordinance. You were I wasn't even drinking. I was waiting on my phone. 351 to 10. All right. What are y'all doing? I wasn't drinking the beer. I was just sitting there waiting for debate. Just stop talking. 305. Can I get a female over here? Oh my goodness. I got all my things up there. Where's all my all my identification? I was just sitting there waiting for my friend to come back. This all could have been avoided with some cooperation. But I was just fixing to show him my ID. And why did Joel twist me around like that? I got Because when I went to put you under arrest, you pulled away. You refused to comply. I did not. I was fixing to show you my ID. Why would you all do that to me? I was just pulled away there. I didn't pull away. Yeah. No stuff. You pulled your arm away. That's why you went there. I was sitting there. I was waiting for my friends to come back. Well, now you're going to go to jail. So why? Violation of county ordinance and resisting arrest. Oh, y'all are so Just relax. She then begins named dropping local judges and claiming mistreatment, escalating her protests. Relax. Just lay right there. That's all right. I'll talk to Judge Shannon and Judge Haymon's about this. And Judge Bell. Yeah. I don't know. You talk to whoever you like. Whoever the law this Campbell, it'll be on your booking paper. Born racer. Who gives a I was born a racer and I was just sitting here doing nothing until they get here. Let's put her in there. Reuben, you mind doing the driving? You I had done. I was just sitting there doing nothing. You want to put this? Okay. All right. I talked to well my grandmother, my father, and everybody knows. Have a seat. So, the security guard here tells me she's sitting back here and she already gave him a hard time. So, when I drove by, I watched her take a swig of something. And I get here and she refuses to provide her name or any other information. So, off she'll go. I still don't even know what her name is, you know. It's just I'm like like you live here. Yeah. Well, a friend lives here. Sometimes I stay with him. I'm waiting for a friend to come pick me up. There we go. I'm not familiar with her. I'm not either. I didn't recognize her, but looks like she's normally panagorta down in Sibly Bay. I thought there was going to be for sure something in here how she was clenching it, but well, she was playing the I'm going to come comply for a second and then I'm going to get an attitude in the again and then I'm going to comply for a second and then I'm not going to comply. Meanwhile, officers search her for belongings and discuss the situation among themselves. So, apparently it was my first day. Yeah, she took a she slammed something right when I drove by. I watched her like put it down, slam it down, and then by the time I got turned around like security guard said she was g he was she was giving him a hard time. Yeah, cuz she's got all this furniture pulled out and she's made herself this little and she's like, "Well, this is the county here." I'm like, "Well, guess who I work for?" She's officially booked for trespassing and resisting arrest. Number three, mom picks the wrong officer to challenge at school. Tensions rise at a local school when a frustrated parent refuses to leave the premises after a disagreement with staff. Here's what happens next. You had no right. When you're asked to leave, you have to leave. You had no right to put your hands on me. If you don't leave, did I hit you? Did I try to hit you? Did I even put my hands up to hit you? No. No. We go. It's fire. Did you leave? I know. We God got it. And even better, the sergeant God does have it. And that right there work it it's on. So why you hit me? Why you push me like that when your ass doesn't? I don't care. It doesn't matter. Freedom of speech. I can say what I want to say. And all the mother sitting up there and open their mouth. So I hope it was worth it cuz you had no right to put your hands on me. So sorry. Just back off. No no no. Okay. I came here Friday. I'm going to go 10:15 with her when you get here though. My baby ain't been to school for a week and a half. I had a meeting with me. I told her, she told me she was going to call me back Friday. I talked to her. Me and her talking. She never called me. My baby going to miss a whole week and a half, a week and a day out of school. So I come in here and I'm talking to her. I told her, "Y'all just with the I can say that, right?" She gets mad. She calls him. He come in there like I told him, "You don't know what happened. You don't know what's going on." The principal, Miss Brown, whoever tells you. I said, "You ain't you don't know what's going on." Right. You talking or you going? I was talking to her, whatever. But we was in the room, but she walked out the room when she called him. Right. Okay. He tells me to leave. No, I didn't. You asked me to leave. I said, "The principal asked her to leave and then I asked her to leave." So, what did you do to me? And then you She didn't. She refused to leave. She stood there on her phone. So I pushed you out the door. You pushed me, man. You there pushed me. It's on It's It's on camera. That man pushed me like I was nobody. He hugging me and throwing me and I couldn't put my my hands up. She explains her side to the story and protests her case, insisting the officer's use of force was uncalled for and disrespectful. My hands just not dead. You know what I'm saying? The way he did me was up and I he got that body cam. I want y'all to run because he had to use the force that he did. I want So when they when the principal asked you to leave, why did you leave? Who? Because she was waiting on Mr. Henry to come. Who's that? The other man. Some other guy. I don't know what he is. He is a success post. But she said no meeting with Mr. Henry. Nothing. Because why? It it doesn't matter. You shouldn't have put your hands on him. It's for you. sports. I understand you can use force. What he did? What I'm asking is this. What did he do was up what he did, sir. And guess what? I'm going higher. He got the body cam on. I had my hands up the whole time. I ain't put my hands on him or nothing. He did not have to use that force. He grabbed me, threw me out the door two times. So when they ask you to leave, repeat, why didn't you just walk out? Listen, what you going to do with the truck? I'm asking you. I did. I was gonna leave, but I wasn't gonna leave cuz he said get out. The way he told he told me to move like I was a No way. No, way. You didn't like the way it is. Yeah. He didn't have to do that. What you did? Tell him what you said. Get out. So, so you were going to stand your ground and tell I ain't going to say I'm talking to her. This is something that he don't even know nothing about. That's the thing that get me. Sir, they have meetings. You're not letting me talk. Go ahead. I'm asking I'm trying to question. What was the question? So the question is is two people asked you to leave and you didn't like the way they said it. So you were going to stand your ground until what happened? What happened? It was nothing. I was leaving. I was going to leave. But he come he put his hands on me. So you felt like he put his hands on you too soon. He had no right to put his hands on me at all. Look at the cam. I will. When you do that your side of the story? My side of the story? Yeah. He said she said he said get out. Y'all felt some type of way about that. How you going to talk to me like that? Ain't no dog. That was Miss Brown. No, him. Him. Him? What did Miss Brown say, man? She ain't Man, Miss B. She ain't even saying nothing. She sitting up there. Despite the officers remaining calm and genuinely trying to understand her perspective, she continues to behave like this. It's not nothing funny about it. I come up here to the school. Why hasn't your child been You tell me. I'm asking you. You don't know. Yeah. You tell me. He went to the school. He came to the school. He got in a little trouble. What was his trouble? Uh, he had got in some trouble last year. So, they sent him to another school which was an alternative school. The school released him from the school and they put him that he was supposed to be coming back to this school. They really don't want him at the school. Okay, I get it. But my baby going to just let her plead her case to sergeant. I came in on him cuz that's what the paper said. The school that he phoned in. This the school that he was owned in. But this was the school that he got to she about to catch a fence. Fel some came up. They was trying to get him to chalk another car. Mhm. You want me to hold on or Jesus? eliminating, man. What? I ain't do nothing that bad. You trespass me, but you put your hands on me, man. The way you put your hands on me, you going to get what's coming to you, man. God going to fix that thing. Y'all is so corrupt, man. You had no life putting your hands on me like you did. throw at me like I throw at me like I ain't nobody but for you to put your hands on me like you did and you think that funny. Okay. Who's laughing? Man, you told me to get out. She keeps protesting, defending her son and venting about how both the school and the officers have treated her. You told me to get out like I was a dog and I said no. You grabbed me. You threw me out the door. You threw me and I'm 250, man. You took me like I was a piece of paper and threw me. I had my hands off the whole time. I never hit you and nothing. I didn't see you. Unusual for me. I'm telling you, it's unusual for me. I'm glad you trained yourself. You had nobody to do that to me, man. Period. And you know you didn't. But you can get away when you think you're getting away. You might get away, but you won't get by. You might get by, but you won't get away. Don't go high on this one. Putting your hands on me like you did. It's all good. I won't go to God. It's all What you say? I said I wouldn't go to God. Why not? What the deal with you both ways? This is I can say my woman said my mouth. I ain't disrespecting my body. I told her she would she know she big. She a principal and she doing little sidehead. So I came up here wondering why my baby ain't in school. I don't know if you ain't got no kids, but I got mine and they need an education. My back to 14. He had issues, but he trying to do right. Stop looking at what behind it. Look what they doing. And you put your hands on me. You literally just did me any kind of way. And you know you did. And if they don't do nothing about it, I'm going holler because you had nobody to do that. Why are you still yelling? Why are you? Because I'm upset. I can't talk. I'm an old grown adult. Are you able to calm down? Well, okay, that's fine. Thank you. Okay. The woman continues to resist and officers have no choice but to take action. Okay, we're going to take you down to for what? Don't turn away from me. What you thinking me to do? For trespass. Okay, you can trespass me, but you taking me jail for trespassing. Yes. Why? You ain't take him to jail for putting his hands on me. I watched the video. Okay. So, you think how he put his hands on me? I did. Why? I'm going to grab your phone if you want. I refuse to listen to him. Okay. But this the thing listen this the thing. He She said leave. Okay. He didn't but he didn't say go ahead and meet. Come on, man. These things too tight, man. You can adjust him. What you taking for? I just told you. Trespassing. Trespass and what? properly resist. Resisting for what? For resisting for what you were doing. I didn't come up. But he put his hands on me, man. He had to put his hands on me cuz you wouldn't leave. Okay. But come on. Yeah. Listen. Come on. Okay. Why? We won't know that. Well, he won't know that. This [ __ ] crazy. I know me that much. It's Mr. But I'm just saying what you charge me with a m I ain't do nothing. You could just gave me a verbal warning. Well, I just explained. Okay. But why you taking me to jail? Yeah. The book. Okay. Trust me. How was the trespass at a warning? That's not enough trespassing warning. Leave. Listen. Okay. But he say leave. But the officer have to trespass me. Once the officer trespass me. That's how it go. So if I tell you to leave and you refuse. Okay. Listen to me. But he could have still just got me a citation. Okay. Listen to me. And he don't put his hands on me like that. No. Listen to me. Listen to me. Okay. He's a school resource officer, so he has to maintain the security of this school. She's confused and upset, arguing that a citation or verbal warning would have sufficed. She doesn't believe her behavior warranted an arrest. You want to let me go? I'm not I'm not I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with what he did. We are where we are. What I'm saying is if he told you to leave, that's it. Right there. Boom. Okay. Yes, sir. I'll deal with it later. That's how you handle it. What you not listening to me. You're not listening to me. There's cause and effect. All right. She told you to leave and cuz you didn't leave, he had to effectively remove you. That's how that goes. You can't just say, "No, I ain't leaving." That's You can't do that. How you think? Did you see how he with his hands on him? You What's the alternative? Could you sit there and argue with you all day? No. Listen, you got Look, I ain't going nowhere. I'm not worried about But I'm just saying, why you got these damn so tight? I don't want you to fall. Listen, I ain't going to fall. What I'm saying is this. Listen. Okay, I did it. But the way he put his hands on me because that's enough what? That's enough for my punishment. Because you refused to do what? Okay, me. Okay, you can say okay, don't come back to the school. Okay, that's right. What we're trying to avoid in the future is blowouts. And I ain't going to be no blowout to have functions with children. That's true, right? Mhm. So, we have to be able to control our emotions to where we can have conversation. You may not like the other person has to say, but we still have to not have a blow up. And if they ask you to leave, just leave. Okay. Okay. All right. But for right now, it's a misdemeanor charge. They'll work out in court. All right. You're calming down now. Okay. Let's keep that going. Let's keep it just the misdemeanor and we'll be done with my thing is so he ain't doing nothing wrong. The way he put his hands on me and I had my hands up in there. You're refusing to leave. You has the right to put his hand on. I control you and make sure you leave. Control me? Yeah, if I had my hands, if I was trying to fight back, I did. Well, you refused to leave. That's why I was taking you on custody. From the backseat of a police car, she makes several phone calls trying to explain what happened to family members. I need my phone. I got it right here. Like I said, it won't have to drop or fall out of your hand. All right. Call uh I need to call um one more number. Hey, Ma. Hey. They um I came to the school, had a little issue with the principal in school. They told me to leave. Me and me then I'll talk to you later about it. But they taking me to Orange Road. Stop lying, man. Lying. So I don't play games like that. You know I'm playing. You just like a Tik Tok thing. Where' you tell him? Can you tell I'm going to jail? Trespass. Let me talk to the police. He right there. I'm here, ma'am. This is unreal. I know, right? For real. FaceTime me so I can see. Can you hit FaceTime? Girl, can you hit FaceTime on that? Now, what you can do is come get me. Despite her protest, she walked away with charges for resisting without violence and trespassing on school grounds after warning. Number one, Karen goes off the rails and straight into handcuffs. Officers respond to a neighborhood disturbance involving a woman demanding repayment of $10 she claims to have lent a man months earlier. Here's what happens next. Yeah. Here. So, what's going on? Asked me for Okay, I gave him a roll of quarters. Yeah. You know, how much a roll of quarters is? $10. That's not much money. Yeah. So, I went back to his place cuz I'm broke. Mhm. And I asked him for my money back and he told me. And I told him and he threw me on the sidewalk. Okay. Physically. Like shoved. Yeah. Like hard. Who'd you give the $10 to? Jordan. I don't know his last name. Do you? Okay. Do you? Yeah. Can you tell me it please? Why not? Why is that complimentary? Why Why'd you give him 10 bucks? You just asked for 10 bucks or what? Because I have I I'm actually uh I have a I'm actually a kind-hearted person. Yeah. And I'm a little bit gullible. Okay. Which means that I I have the benefit of the doubt. Yeah. You know what that means? Mhm. That I actually prefer to trust someone. Actually, that's my adopted kitty, but um sweetheart. Anyway, beyond that point. So, when you give him the $10 today, a couple days ago, five months ago. Five months ago. He still hasn't paid me back. And all he does and Valerie, okay, I live over here in 10 23. Yeah.
