And I'm telling you, he's reaching for any and anything to try to get me out of this car. And it's for the car. You living out of the car. I'm telling you. How would I be out of the car? For what reason? What law did I commit? What law? Ask me step out of the vehicle. But for what reason? Did I have a probable cause? What crime did I commit? Did I commit a crime? Mhm. Do me a favor. Please do that. Mom, listen. No, no, no. Keep recording. Step out of the car. Why am I stepping out? You are extremely nervous. No, I'm not. Yes, you are. I am not. Don't resist. Come on. I've been recording the whole time. We are on our way to Fresh Market to get this. We came. We needed to get all the way over. We came behind you guys. This this officer in the truck. Hey Renzo, make sure you search him real good. Is this what you guys are worried about? There's everywhere here. No, there's nothing to worry about. There's nothing in this truck. When officers start to suspect there may be illegal substances in the car, the woman reacts like this. Absolutely. We're worried because there's nothing in this truck. There's absolutely nothing. Okay. Well, we're going to check it anyways. You don't have a warrant to check the truck. Oh my god. You absolutely don't. But there's nothing. There's Look all over here. There's nothing. There's shake all over. There's nothing to check in. All right. Now it's your turn. Go ahead and step out of the car. That's an order. Can you put me on? Do you have anything on your phone? Yep. Can you take this for our phones? Yeah, we know. Yes, we did it. It's all camera. We all have. And we're also handcuffing cuz it's the best. That's how this is right here. I'm sure you can. Let's get a little further away from the very fantastic shake all over me. extremely argumentative rifles again. It's like you ran him, right? Yeah. Anything come back. It's DL's good. Everything's good. These are 6%. The tent 6%. So, write him a ticket for that as well. Wasted your time, man. You wasted your time. You played yourself. It's not worth it. And my aunt, who's a retired lieutenant, Fields, is going to hear about this and we're going to pull up to this. Don't care. As the search begins, both she and her husband keep protesting, convinced the officers are overstepping. Find anything? Did you find your your What did you find? Did you find any guns? going to pull up this or is this for your amusement for for a uh registration or whatever you said a restaurant a tag whatever you pull this over for your tag expired whatever you pulled this over for all of this for what and you turned it into a investigation are you serious are you serious where's your uh we're going to need everyone's cards we're going to okay arrest warrant for What? Say that. You said arrest warrant. That's not what I said. Oh, what did you say? There you go. Exactly. There you go. You know what I mean? Let me know if you find anything. Let me know if he's finding anything. Like, this is crazy. Because when we pull out the lawsuit that you guys are going to have and we know Val Deming. Oh my god. No, no, no. You're just being a smart for no reason. You're being sarcastic. You're throwing my stuff on the ground. You took my wife's phone for no reason. You turn it off and if anything's deleted, check it. Make sure it's not a black. So awful. So awful. What is about to happen to my husband? Diagnosis with bipolar. When she takes the handcuff off, you put your hand on the back of your head. Okay. Which which hand? The one she takes out of the handcuffs. It's a simple direction. I thought you said both hands. I said when she takes a hand out of a handcuff, put it on the back of your head. Okay, I hear you. One at a time. I hear you. She challenges the charges, arguing no real harm was done and claiming they were never a threat. freezing. I'll take care of her. Hold on. Do you want his phone? Relax. You're good. Just let your hands down. You can I'm very much not relaxed. What is about to happen to my husband? He's going to jail with what? Resisting an officer battery on a law enforcement officer. Yeah, he grabbed me. Grabbed me. If I grabbed you right now, is that not a crime? Is that not a crime? If I grabbed you right now, battery on a law enforcement officer, that is a felony. Battery. That's what I said. That's what I said. You really feel threatened by us. Okay. After after everything, right? Yes. You found some little on the floor. Whatever said you found after all of this at the at this moment, do you think we're trying to really hurt you guys? Of course not. Okay. So then why would you say that he's trying to threaten battery against at this moment? No, you're not trying to hurt me. Okay. You're being literal right now. I'm talking about Yes, it was. Okay. You're being very literal right now. I'm talking about the entire situation. The entire situation. How long have you known the outcome? The outcome, right? You I've been here 20 minutes. Please let me talk. Okay. I don't know your intentions. Please let me talk. Please let me talk. The outcome. Are you guys done with her? We are done with you. You are free to leave. If you want an explanation on anything, I will explain it to you over there. I want to know where my phone and everything is. She just put your phone back over there. If you want an explanation on anything, I will explain it to you over there. You are free to leave. Where are you taking her? 33rd Street. Where is that down? JP and 33rd Street. The Orange County Jail. And even with her husband on the way to jail, she keeps talking, insisting the whole thing could have been handled differently. Why are you taking my husband? We just explained that to you. This is ridiculous. The outcome The outcome of this situation is not battery. That's what I'm trying to say. This situation is not battery. We're not trying to harm you all. He is not trying to harm anybody. He's not trying to harm anybody. You guys are trying to harm us. That is insane. Do you understand what you're saying? Officers later charge him with assaulting a police officer and two separate counts of resisting arrest with violence. Number four, parking space Karen gets put in check. A neighborhood parking dispute gets out of control when a pregnant woman calls police claiming her longtime neighbor threatened her with a metal pole. Here's what happens when the officers arrive to intervene. We're going, you know, to the I'm sorry, I'm having a panic attack and I'm pregnant. We was going to go right here across the street, you know, the field the soful field with the girls. Okay. So, we was going to go over there to hit, you know, for a little bit to practice a little bit. Yes. So we was getting in the cars and I told them, "Hey, let me put the laundry really quick, you know, because by the time that we over there, my you know, my laundry is watching." But yeah, so I heard her when she was like I was like right there cuz my laundry is inside. So I was right like coming and she saw she stood my daughter was getting in the car and she's like I'm you guys. I'm all your family. All of you. I'm Did you hear that? Yes. Yes. Literally I heard it. I heard it. So she grabbed she had a p a pole a metal pole right here and she has a cone. So she grabbed it. So, a guy no a pole. She put it. Look, that one right there. That one. She had it. She came over here with that pole. That one right there. The That one right there. And a jello. Yes. That one. She picked it up. Yeah. She picked it up and she had it. She said, "When my I'm a you guys and I'm all your family." So, that's when I was I'm like, "You crazy? Like, what the is wrong with you crazy?" Told my kids to get in the car cuz I was going to take off, you know. But and then she started saying and she started taking pictures of my tag and she's like I'mma have somebody you all. So I'm like what's wrong with you? You know like we didn't do it. So what I did was bring my kids because by that time I was like I'm not I don't feel comfortable leaving when she took pictures of my tag and you know she sent it to people. I don't know. So it was a that car came up just now not too long ago. The gray car and it was a guy. Yeah. Not this one but the one over there. So it was a guy that got out with a black bag and a beer and went inside the house. So I was like, I don't know if that's the person that she called to. So I don't know. So I took call. So is this the same person you've been beefing with for the past 5 years? She tells responding officers this isn't the first time. There's been years of tension and alleged harassment from the same neighbor. Okay. She just called uh not too long ago, like maybe a month ago, she called UA the officer UA or UA something like that. And she started lying. So even UA got mad at her and told her stop calling us or you because she invent all kind of stuff you know so you can call him and ask him and she came and knock on my door once I'm like crazy and I'm like what's wrong you know what happened and that's when he's like no because she said that you were telling her stuff and I'm like sir I'm inside my house you know no I haven't say anything so so are you guys going through a civil thing or you guys just call her it's crazy she's always doing things to us you know like she because I'm Mexican but I'm a see I'm a I'm a citizen. You know, my kids were born here. So, I don't know what's her problem. I I'm pregnant. I want her to leave us alone instead of scaring her. So, you just you just want us to talk to her and I mean, I don't know what you guys going to do. So, it's a trend. She said she You're saying she picked up that pole right there? That's that's holding a cement. Yes, she picked that up. She picked that up and she came all the way over here. Camera work. No, they don't work. They She came all the way over here and that's what she say. So, I got scared. So, how does she have it in her hand? like this. Like she picked it up literally like that. Go lift it. It's not heavy like that. Cuz she always was picking it up last time. Where does she lift? And right here in there. Okay, just go wait in there. We'll go speak to her and see what's really You know me for years. Show me that camera. What camera? They don't work. They don't work. I I always put it in there for her to like stop because when I could have done trespassing. When I put it in here, she stopped. When officers speak to the neighbor, she paints a very different picture. Hello. Thank you for coming. Are you the other one? Yes, I am. Okay. What's going on? What's going on is she keeps taking Okay, we're going to go We're going to go with this one cuz I've been hearing about this issue for years. Okay, we got two problems going on. Number one, she keeps taking my parking spot with that big cement thing. I have two cars. We need every inch. I've spoken to Cindy. I get up to my side of the yellow line. She gets up to her side of the yellow line. You guys have a sign parking or Yes. Yes, we do. We pay for it in our lease. It's She gets two spaces, but she's as you can see right now. And if she's moved it, I've got pictures. Yeah. In case she moved it while you while Let me just show you how it was. I told her to get it on her side of the line. Then she went crazy. She yelled a string of her face while my three-year-old niece was out here. And I have my sister and my niece as witnesses. She screamed the worst profanity ever heard in front of this three-year-old little girl who was on the sidewalk. She called me a and all other and all these filthy words and all this in front of my three-year-old niece. And did you say anything to her? No, I just told everybody come on inside. And I went to go call you and then I came out and I told her I said look you can't do that. I'm calling the police. She said I've already done it. I said good then we'll just wait. Okay. So you didn't what? You didn't exchange any words with her. I said to her, "Move her stuff on the other side of the line." Then she started screaming. So then I came out here and I told everybody come inside. Then I came out and I told her by myself that I was calling the police. She said, "Police already coming." I said, "Good." That will save her at all. I'm sorry. Threaten her at all. Of course not. She I was sitting out here. I just want to tell you she's the biggest lawyer I've ever seen. I've I've took calls. I've got two witnesses. I've took calls about you guys. So, okay. Did you Did you pick up any weapons at all? Of course not. I've got two witnesses. She denies making any threats or holding any objects and instead accuses the other family of lying and using children to support false claims. She's just an enormous liar. I get it. But like I like I explained to you, I've I've taken multiple calls about the same issue. Yes. And I've been in academy for 6 months and I've been in dispatch for for a year. No, I've got two witnesses. I've got two witnesses. Did you pick up any weap any weapons, metal parts, anything at all? Picked up nothing. That's what I'm asking you. There are no weapons. You got your idea on you? Of course. Absolutely. Here, let me show you the photo just in case she moved it while y'all were going. The video. Here it is. Look at that. She was way over in my space. Is that to divide it all over? Yes. because I am supposed to by according to Cindy, I get up to the edge of this yellow line. She gets up to the edge of that yellow line. But look what she's doing. She's way over here on mine. I told her to move it cuz I have an SUV and another Kia that has to get in this 35. All right, do me a favor, ladies. Get your IDs out and hand them to this officer. She has been lying ever since day one. That's what she lives on. She's insane. That was disgusting in front of her, as you can see. and she yelled all that profanity in front of this three-year-old baby. This is all because she wants to take up my parking spot for no good reason other than just to cause trouble. I have to park two cars in this space. I've got two witnesses and a three-year-old baby that will come out and tell you the real truth. They were all sitting right out here. Okay. Problem is, I need all my parking. I've got an SUV and another little car and she doesn't want to give it to me. Show up his face. I mean, there's a right way and wrong way of doing things. You could just talk to Cindy and let Cindy handle it. It's closed. Okay, then let push it off till tomorrow when it's open. We Where are we going to park tonight? There's plenty of parking around here. No, there isn't. There is not. There is not. Okay. And if we get towed, it's $550. She shifts the focus back to the parking dispute while also criticizing the other household's living situation. I pay for my parking. I'm allowed to have my parking. Okay. And I need every inch to squeeze these two cars in. The night before last, we drove around, drove around, drove around, and had to find an extra parking spot somewhere, but we can't do that every night. They have a three-year-old baby. They have a right to be able to park in my parking space that I pay for. Is it a right or a privilege? I pay for it. Is it a right or a privilege? It's a right. I pay for So, it's in the It's in the It is in the lease. Okay. It's in the amendments or is it in the lease? It's in the lease. So, it's a privilege. Go ahead. I paid money for it. Let me get the other girl out here with the baby. Okay, just hold off. I'm not the investigating officer. Somebody else is. So, just hold on. Okay. But he needs to talk to her, too, cuz she But he's in the middle of something, right? All that profanity in front of that three-year-old baby. The worst thing is her own children are out there. Yes. And she was sweating all that filth. But I told I came out and I told them all to come inside cuz I don't want my little niece of subjected to that filth. Her own children should not be subjected. You should call DCF. That's She's insane. They also have two illegal aliens in there. She does. She has two illegals that she has in there. How do you know they're illegal? Well, because they're hiding. When they used to come out and try to threaten me, I told Cindy about her. And then when Cindy found out, then they started hiding. Maybe they don't want drama. Doesn't mean they're illegal. Why? So they hiding if they don't want Because they don't want drama. No, they were the ones threatening her before. Okay. If they don't have something to hide, then why are they hiding from? Because they don't want drama. Well, if I had a problem with my neighbor, I would avoid my neighbor, too. They don't live there. They're not even supposed to be there. They're not supposed to be there. They're not on the lease. Okay. Then reported to Cindy. I did. And that's why they're hiding. In her version of events, she's completely blameless. The real victim in all of this. I'll just get her bring camera and put it in next time she does this BS. You guys will see the truth about her. That's what I would recommend doing. Installing a camera. Absolutely. But I'm going to hide it so she doesn't see it. And the next time she calls you and tells you these lies, she's going to be caught so bad. You'll arrest her, right? If I catch it and prove that she's lying to you. Prove what? If I prove she's lying to you and trying to like have me rest on false charges, you'll arrest her for that, right? Cuz that's illegal, isn't it? It's not illegal to lie to police. It's illegal to make a sworn written statement and then lie about that. But people lie to us all the time. We could arrest everyone. Everyone lies. I wish it was a crime, trust me. But if they write write it down and they swear to it under oath, then it's not legal for them just a law. Correct. Oh, okay. And that's a waste. Why waste 200 bucks then if you're not going to do anything about it? Well, if if you feel better protected with your three-year-old niece and everybody else living here, extra security blanket. Well, she's just crazy. She's just insane. And that that's not illegal, unfortunately. Yeah. Trust me, Key West, there'd be a lot of people in jail if that was I get it. But can you at least get her to move her piece of cement over to her side of the yellow line so that we can park safely tonight? Is it the two yellow lines so you on the inside? She's supposed to be on her side of the yellow line and I get my side of the yellow line, but she's trying to take all of it. Okay. Which is a problem. I need every inch. We got to squeeze in an SUV and a Kia. I understand. I'll ask her. It's a tight squeeze. I understand. She's stealing my parking. She's taking the Haitians parking. Okay. She's horrible. She's a total liar and a thief and she's horrible. I got you. Let me go talk to them real quick. Okay. The officer then speaks with a niece who offers her perspective on everything she saw during the encounter with the neighbor. Were you here? Were you outside for this? Yes, she was. And this is the three-year-old I was telling you about that. She was screaming. She she won't she won't be she won't be able to give us a statement that we need her inside. Okay. But were you outside or were you inside and then you came outside? I was right here. Screaming about the baby. She came over here right in front of us. Okay. Give me one second then. So I guess she she was out here also and just all screaming and all she saw was screaming. Yeah. Step out there and talk to you. Okay. All right. Okay. Which one am I speaking to? You step right here. Okay. I'm just going to read you something. You're not under arrest or anything. This is going to determine what's going to be the outcome of this situation right here. Okay. All right. Go ahead. Just listen to me clearly and everything I say just, you know, don't word in your head. Just I got to read it word for word from this. Okay. Go ahead. All righty. So, this is the Miranda warning. Okay. And have you just write somebody will answer my questions? I'm making statements right now. Okay. And have you asked any of these officers to speak to a lawyer or an attorney? I'm sorry. What? Have you asked any of these lawyers to speak to an attorney? No. Why should I? Okay. I just have to ask the question just to make sure. Okay. So, give me start to finish what went down. Okay. Look at that right there. Okay. She is supposed to be on that side of the yellow line. Oh, come right over here. Okay. Just I just need you to tell me. I You already So, I can show you. She is supposed to be on this side of the yellow line. I get on this side of the yellow line. I pay $1,400 a month. She pays $1,400. She gets this side. Look what she's doing. The woman continues to insist that all she did was ask her neighbor to move the divider back where it belonged. This is a problem because it is a tight squeeze. I have an SUV and I have that car cuz that's my friends visiting. Now she is doing this. She doesn't What? What are she's taking my space? I mean, she's putting a barrier, but okay. But she's taking my space. So I told her I came out. I took a picture to send to Olga on Monday and I told her cuz she was standing right there. I said, "Look, you got to move this to your side. Then she came running out going." So I went inside cuz my little tiny three-year-old niece was right there coloring and my sister and I said, "All y'all come inside cuz she's just cursing and screaming." She follows me in, she goes right there and is cursing. Oh, mother. Where were you at when she was out here? I was like right here cuz I was right here cuz I took a picture right here. So when she first came outside, you were already outside. Oh yeah. Well, she was out here too. Okay. We were all out here. I took a picture and she was standing right next at the time. You were playing with your your is it your granddaughter or your niece playing? They were in there playing. My great niece. Okay. They were in there playing. I came out here. I took a picture right here and they were standing right there. I said, "Look, you got to move this to your side of the line." Okay. So, she didn't say anything to you. You said something to her. Yes. I told her she has to move to her side of the line cuz see she's stealing my parking and then she started screaming profanopies at me. So I went back in and I told them come on inside. She's going crazy again. So you know they waited a few minutes cuz I guess they're unfamiliar with it. They don't know her like I do till she come. So she follows me right there and starts screaming profanity. I said I open the door. I said come on get the baby. Get inside. Okay. And after you got the baby you put the baby inside. What' you What' you do then? I put them on there. Then I came back out here and she was standing here. I said, "Look, Pamela, I'm calling the cops." She said, "I'm already calling them." I said, "Good. Then we'll just sit here and wait." Officers work to sort out both sides of the story. But after weighing the allegations, witness statements, and the physical setup, they decide there's enough to move forward with an arrest. Pockets for me. Okay. When you came back outside after taking the three-year-old inside, yes. Did you have any objects in your hand? No, of course not. Did you pick up anything? No. Okay. So, is there any reason why someone would say that? Do you had an object? It's because she's an insane liar. That doesn't really Well, it's the truth. She's been lying since then. So, does she have any objects in your hand? No. You didn't have anything? No, of course not. Is there any reason why a child would say you did? No, because she's an insane liar and she tells her children to lie for her. Right. Okay. Well, go ahead and face that officer. Okay. Go ahead and put your hands right back. All right. [Applause] Are you seriously arresting me for this? Yes. I can write assault. I did not do anything to her. Can I ask you a question? Can I ask you a question, ma'am? Yes. If she's taking your parking, why don't you pull up and take advantage of all your parking? Cuz this is only hanging over like a quarter of an inch. Because that won't start. I need to have it jumped. Gotcha. Okay. So, if your vehicle can't be moved, then why are you making an issue out of it? Because I need He just went and bought jumper papa. Okay. Do you have anything on you that's going to poke and stick with you? Of course not. Okay. Like I said, I'm just going to do a quick search on you. If you got anything on Go ahead. It's going to You take it into jail and some legal. You're going to It's going to be additional charge. Okay. Okay. Clark, why is there still parking in Spanish? Inside joke I'm missing. All right. evidence. Yeah, that's too much. I think I think a picture was sufficient. Go ahead. Cuz I'm going to sue her now. For every penny she was ever worth, and I'm suing the Key West Police Department, too. My attorney is Wayne Laroo Smith. Okay, perfect. Everything is being monitored and recorded. So, if you have anything, you can come back and get everything. Okay. All right. Do you want these to come back with you, the glasses, or you want to keep them with them? No, I'll keep them. Okay, perfect. I get them tight with you. Walk down to my car. All right. Though she remains technically cooperative, she doesn't hold back, continuing to badmouth her neighbor while tossing out fresh accusations and threats. Let's go. Hey, wait. Before we go anywhere, you got to make her move that thing back behind the line. Okay. She has to move it completely behind the line or else I am suing like I'm suing the police department. She must move it behind the line. Um the thing is we don't have anything to do about the park. You got to make her move it. Yeah. This is private property. Make her move it. I'm demanding. Oh, you demand it? Yes, I do. All right. Well, too bad this is private property. I can't I will sue you. Well, please sue me, ma'am. Make her move it. Now, be careful cuz you might be looking at a hate crime right now. Anyway, it's not a hate crime. I'll need all of your badge numbers and names because I'm definitely suing for defamation. Y'all are going to face the biggesting defamation suit you've ever seen in your lives. I've got three witnesses. You've got one kid that Pamela told to lie. She claims the police are siding with liars and vows to sue both the department and the other family for defamation, promising to take it all the way to court, no matter the cost. All facing such defamation lawsuits. I'm going to make so much money off of this. This will be the biggest defamation lawsuit you've ever seen. There is no weapon. I've got all my witnesses. All she has is her own child who she told to lie because she is a filthy liar who is raising a bunch of filthy lying children. Her husband and several other friends do not speak English. What does that have to That has nothing to do with anything. It does because they take my parking spot. That is ridiculous that you say that. It is not ridiculous. They take my parking spot all day every day. They cannot read English. I have lots of lawyers. I have lots of attorneys and I am being falsely arrested. I have witnesses and this is all a bunch of lies and you are all going to be sued. Sued tremendously. I am a business owner. I have done nothing wrong. I will take polygraph tests of the yin-yang. You are all going to be sued. She could have just moved her little cement piece back, but no. Now she's going to lose everything she ever owned. I tell the truth and I try to protect what I pay for and this is what I get. I didn't take her parking. She took mine. I didn't lie about her. I told the truth. I could have just as easily called you and said she threatened me and told my friends and my niece to lie, but I'm not that kind of person. I've been nice. I'm not being nice anymore. You just watch and see. I called you to get my parking spot back and instead you listen to a lie. We are not parking enforcement. Stop calling us for similar issues. And said you sit there and you listen to a total and complete lie when I have three witnesses. You just wait until you see what I am going to do to all of you. You are all going to be sued so bad. You are going to lose all of your careers over this cuz I'm not going to stop. Not ever. And yes, she keeps ranting the entire ride to jail. I'm not a drunk. You I'm a regular citizen with a business. You are going to lose everything. So, I'm going to drag you into every court you ever had for till the end of time. I'm going to take your careers, all of them, for this cuz it if she's lying. And she told her kid to lie. And I don't care what I have to spend or what I have to go through. All of you are all going to be sued. I will never till the day I die let this go because you listen to one lying lying person with who teaches her children to lie for her so she can steal my parking steal two inches of my parking and you want to call me petty she is over the line and that is theft not theft ma'am oh and you sit there and you laugh what is it then oh She's borrowing it. She's going to give it back later with interest. I will spend every dime I have and every minute of the rest of my life suing all of you over I will ruin all of you because it's all a lie. It's all you're ruining my life. I'm going to ruin yours because none of this is true. You think this is funny. You think this is no big deal. You're ruining my reputation. You're going to be put to the for every thing as you've ever done in your whole career. You have no idea what you've done. You've sat here and listened to a liar with no proof of anything because there is Where is the weapon? What weapon? What weapon did I grab up and chase after her with? What was it? I just have like weapons laying around in the freaking street and in the yard. What? What? She has a camera. Do you know that? Have you pulled up the footage from her camera? Can you believe it? All of this over just one inch of parking space. That you're all a bunch of liars and you're all wrong because she has a camera and there's nothing on it. No, I will not shut up. I will never shut up. And you will have to pay for this. and someone's going to pay all of my attorneys fees and plus more because that's a flat out and out the lie. It is just a flat lie. And you sit there and you listen to it with no evidence whatsoever just because she got her child to lie for her. That's the kind of children she's raising and putting out in the world. It's not the first time she's had them lie so many times. I've tried to talk to her and say, "Look, why'd you try to teach your children to be good citizens and not liars?" And she just laughs. You've just taught a liar that lying pays. You have just encouraged a whole family of lying criminals to be released into society. The neighbor is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Number three, bully throws a fit. Cops bring the facts. Officers initiate a traffic stop after spotting a vehicle behaving erratically. Here's what happens next. Give me your information. May I have a deputy? Huh? You have a deputy? I'm standing in front of you. Yeah. Step out of the vehicle. Sure. Do you have your information? I don't need to give it to you. Yes. Yes, you do. Why would you not? Because I came after you and you came to make Okay. Step to the front of my car. I could. No, you will. I could go to the front of my car. Now you're Now you're making me uncomfortable. That's fine. Go to the front of my car. I can do that, sir. Yes, you can. Officer, you're you're putting your hands on me. Officer, you're putting your hands on me. Sit right there. You're a male. Sit right there. You're a male. I'm a female. Sit right there. You're a female. I'm a female. You're a male. How do you know? I'm a female. How do you know what I identify as? Exactly. But 94. That is Sit down. Sit. I don't care. Sit down. Where's your identification? There's your driver's license, registration, and your proof of insurance. You've made this so much more difficult than it needs to be because I came You came in a U-turn in front of me and you you came after me and turned around. I I turned around because you committed a violation of Florida State. It does not matter if it is a yellow light. I have explained to you why you were pulled over. I want your driver's license registration. And then you just put your hands on me. I did put my hands on you because you're refusing to give me your information and I'm not going to allow you to sit in that car. I'm not officer. I You don't operate this. I'm in charge. Do you understand me? I'm still complying. Officer, sit down. No, because you put How are you complying? I did. Because you put your hands on me. I did. Because you failed to follow a lawful order. Take my shirt off as a woman. You need to identify as a male. I'm a female. And you just put your hands on me. I did. Because you are failing to produce your identification. I did not, officer. Did it? I did not. Officer, you just put your hands on me. Can I ask you driver's license per Where's your driver's license? You put your hands on me. Where is your driver's license? Put your hands on me. Where is your driver's license? Hands on me. Where is your driver's license? Despite multiple warnings and clear explanations, she keeps resisting and only gets more confrontational. No. Officer, you put your hands on me. You put your hands on me. Ma'am, you put your hands on me. No, you put your hands on me. What are you doing? You put your hands on me, officer. You put your hands on me. What are you doing? If you do not comply, I'm gonna put you on the ground. I've been complying. I'm going to put you on the ground. Turn around. You pull me off. Turn around and put your hands behind your back. Putting your hands on me. Turn around and put your hands behind your back. I literally have seizures and you're putting Turn around and put your hands. Officer, no. You're putting your hands on me. Officer, you're putting your hands on me. Step it up. Officer, turn around. Put your hands on me uncomfortable. Turn around and put your hands behind your back. You're making me uncomfortable. No. Stop. Officer you. Officer. Officer, you're hurting me. I didn't do anything. You didn't even ask for my identification. I did. No, you didn't. Officer, you're hurting me. You're hurting me. Officer, you're hurting me. He's hurting me. Officer. Officer. I didn't do anything. I didn't do anything. Hey, Officer. Officer, please. Just get on this side. Guys, guys, listen to me. Get on this side. I didn't do anything. Listen. Get on his side. He didn't get off anything. Relax. Hey, relax behind your back. Relax. No, he's hurting me. I got off me. He didn't offer me anything. Stop. Stop. Anything. He's hurting me. Relax. I just sat there. He pulled me over. I pulled over. He's hurting me. Slow down. Hey, look towards the car. Look towards the car. He hurt me. Look towards the car. I didn't do anything here. You're hurting me. Let's go ahead and fix this. You're hurting me. No, you're fine. I didn't do anything. Just relax. I didn't do anything. I had a yellow light. They won't come out now. Deputy Baker. Hey, Deputy Baker. It's Miranda. He literally did. He stopped me for no reason. I came to a complete stop. He made a U-turn and then I came out and he tried to put his hands on me. All she had to do was cooperate and identify herself. But her attitude fast tracks her straight into handcuffs. I promise you, I'm trying to take a deep breath. She hasn't been searched. I don't know if she's I've been cooperating. He tried to I don't believe we got Chris in. He did. I swear on my life I didn't do nothing wrong. He was destroying his old feelings. I didn't do anything. I'm going to try to pull everything after all my life. I was sitting at the yellow light and I waited for him to stop and I came after him and he made a U-turn on me. I am calm and he hurt my feelings and he upset me and then he put me I didn't even say I came out and I was like no I refused because he was being mean to me. She's clear pizza. I don't know if this got a hoodie like a pog. No, you're wrong and you know it. That's fine. I've been wrong before. You've been wrong before. I know I have. I know you have. I know him. Okay. I know him faithfully and you hurt me. You put your hands on me. I'm Deputy Thompson. No, but you put your hands on me. I know, but you didn't listen. No, I didn't listen because you pulled me out of the car and you didn't tell me who I did wrong. You did that. And you know you did that. I did. I just told you. No, you you're not. Go. You got DUI, too. Yeah, she's hammered. Yeah, I agree. I'm going to ask her if she wants to do SFS. Hey, Miranda, I got a question for you. Okay, listen. I believe you're under the influence of alcohol. Would you be willing to I would be. You would be willing to complete standardized field sobriety for me? I would be because I wasn't under the influence. I was looking for my vehicle. I mean, looking for my car in my friend's vehicle. Okay. I didn't go anywhere. And you know that I didn't. You made a U-turn behind me. I did because I you made a U-turn behind me because it was on a yellow light and I had the right away and I made the right turn. That's incorrect. I told you why I pulled you over. You failed to stop. And even after that, listen, I'm not arguing. Give me just a second. Deputies suspect alcohol is a factor. There's a strong smell and it's not going unnoticed. They ask her to take a field sobriety test. Will she play along or make things worse? I think she believes that I'm about to do a breathalyzer. And I think that's what she agreed to do cuz she's asking me if I pass the breathalyzer right here, am I going to go free? Oh, okay. Hey, Miranda, what deputy wants you to do is field sobriety exercises. Mhm. Do you know what the difference between that the breathalyzer is? Yes. What I asked was uh is that the probable cause? The probable cause is a traffic stop and the odor of alcohol. Right. But he didn't give me the odor of alcohol. He pulled me out of my vehicle because he said I made a traffic in violation but didn't give me the give me the description of that. But we're not going to stand here and debate the reason. I'm not debating that. I but I know you you know that you've been stopped before and I've been in the jail because and I can't go to jail because of bond. So I was very compliant because of that. So there was no reason for me not to be compliant. With that being with that being said, why would I go back to jail knowing that my bond can be revoked and I can go to jail for that? What we're asking you to do is field sobriety exercises. My thing is is if I will be able to pass that what will go after that. We would make a determination at that point. Determination at that point. And will I be able to get a traffic violation? I'm not going to tell you one way or the other because we're not there yet. I understand. I'm not going to hold everything over your head or tell you that. I'm being very very understanding and I'm trying to understand what's going on at this point. Even if I were to pass or not pass, where is the violation that I committed? Again, I'm not going to debate. I I don't know the violation that I committed is what I'm saying. He was explaining it to you when you were standing over there screaming. No, I wasn't. I I literally got pulled and grabbed I have a literally mark on my arm to show that he literally put me over when I told him that I was a woman. I grabbed a female because he told me he wanted to search. You don't have that option. I didn't have that option. But maybe I'm saying what police officer. Come on. I'm talking to you guys literally. I know you before. You met me before. I'm trying to tell you that he upset me because he told me I I I what can I identify as and I'll identify as a male or female. So, are you making me uncomfortable trying make me feel like I'm not a male or female? The situation escalates as she accuses the officer of disrespecting her gender identity and claims she's being unfairly targeted. Trying to be respectful. No, it's not respectful because the way you said it. That that's how you perceive it. Okay. But exactly. And that I'm only being compliant because of that, but I'm not being incompant because of his actions. I'm being compliant because of what he said. So, at this point, are you going to submit to field sobriety exercises? Even if I submit or not submit, if I'm going to be able to pass, I'm going to submit or not submit. Okay, perfect. I want to submit, but I need to know the answer to that. You're under arrest. You are. Hello. Yes. Can I please get my variety test, please? Didn't they do when you step out for me? I'm going to search you. May I get my variety test? Like, god, what the I even drunk. I literally had I didn't even have one beer. Well, spray your feet for me. Y'all are not going to try to give me a test or what? Just uh al DUI doesn't just mean alcohol. I mean, I'm not on nothing. I don't do drug. What the I'm not saying that you do. I'm just saying that y'all told me y'all were going to give me a test. I'm like, what the where's the test? Did you disuse? No, they told They're trying to confuse me on what the I'm saying. I'm trying to say like I didn't do anything wrong is what I'm saying. No, I will take a test if I have to prove it. Do me a paper. Stop moving. No, I can't go to jail. I literally just went to jail for a few. Yeah. I need her to turn and face the car. Face the car. Spread your feet. Okay. I need you to stop moving. Spread your feet. I have nothing. Literally, I I don't care. I need you to spread your feet. My feet are spread, sir. You got anything in your mouth? No. Stick your tongue out for me. Okay. This is insane. Y'all are crazy as Okay, have a seat. Y'all are crazy. Can I take my test now? Um, I'll have to ask the uh Even after being arrested, she denies doing anything wrong and repeatedly insists she's sober. She asks again to take a test, but at this point that ship has sailed. Can I take my test? Huh? That's not my phone. Can I take my I was looking out. So, whose phone is this? I have no idea. So, do you want me to leave it in the car? I need to take my test. You refused. No, I told No, that's not what you said. You made me feel like as if I was going to jail regardless. Hop back in the car. No, that's crazy. Come on, have a seat. Oh my god, y'all are tripping. Oh my god, this is crazy. What the She's officially charged with DUI and resisting arrest. Number two, driveway DUI ends in a full-blown arrest. Police are dispatched after a call about a possibly intoxicated woman parked in a residential driveway. Here's what happens next. What's going on? Wait, nothing. Those guys. What do you mean? I'm trying to figure out how to put up my, you know, those uh storm shutters. Mhm. And I've been driving around trying to figure out who's doing that. Everyone around here is doing that. Yeah, but I'm actually Mhm. So, what were you doing at this guy's house? I just stopped there. Do you know him? No. What? What street is this? Do you know where you're at right now? Yes, I'm in my neighborhood. And I looked at him and I said, "Okay, you have all kinds of people helping you to put your storm screens up." Mhm. Can you shut your car off for me? Just went got fuel and water. Someone food. Oh my god. Have you had anything to drink today? No. What? Are you sure? I'm being serious. So, you don't have to look at me like I'm an idiot. Have you had any alcohol today? Are you diabetic? I don't know. Come on out of the car. Officers quickly pick up on her erratic behavior. She's confused, slurring her words, and struggling to answer even basic questions. Hello. How we doing? Come on out of the car. I want to go home. Okay. I live right over in here. And this guy, I just wanted I already found someone who would help me put up my you know. Okay, you've been told to come out of the car. Go ahead and step out of the car, man. That window up. Okay. The one down there. I was just going around and I was asking people who are you putting you're putting up the uh the windows. Yep. As the interaction continues, it becomes increasingly obvious she's under the influence. She's practically giving it away. Aba. Okay. Uh, you want me to sit down? No. Make you feel better. Hey, ma'am. Ma'am, we have a bit of a problem here. Okay. So, okay. One, two, three, four, five, six. Oh my god. All right. I was in the National Guard. All right, ma'am. So, what's going on today? When officers arrive, they find her visibly impaired, slurring your speech and holding the paging microphone. 497, are you traveling by yourself? Yeah, we're on site. I don't know what that means. Are you traveling with anybody? Put your phone down. Nope, I'm not putting my phone down. Okay, you're under arrest. No. Oh my god. Stop. You're under arrest. Stop it. Put your bag down. No. Stop. No. Put your phone down. Put your phone down. All right. They're trying to arrest me. They're trying to arrest me right now. You're under arrest. I'm telling you. I'm not I'm not doing anything. I'm not resisting. Yes, you are. Okay. What are you doing exactly? Ma'am, you're under arrest. For what? Public intoxication. SP trying to find officer pal and he's trying to take her into custody. She's resisting. So silly. This is so silly. So silly. Good girl, honey. What did you just put on me? What did you just put on me? What did you just put on me? Honey, y'all are so in the world. Hey, come. I know you hear me. Hey, you have your custody. Please pick up the phone so I can ask you what's going on. For her safety, she refuses to follow even basic instructions, won't put down her phone, and keeps insisting she's done nothing wrong. This is civil. Hi, Sophie. Hi, Sophie. Y'all, seriously, like I have all of her paperwork. I have everything I need to show you. Like, like I I've not done in a I'm not in any uh uh offense. Help. Help. Hans. Yep. Hans. Yep. Can you hang up the phone? No. No. You're not hanging up that phone. That's my sister. You're not hanging up that phone. No. You look like a little You're not hanging up that phone. That's my sister. How's What the Like? This is so crazy. I mean, like, seriously. Ready? Seriously. Yeah. Everything's there. [Music] Oh my god. Hunt. Hey, don't you touch her. Don't touch her. She ain't going to She's not going to jail with you. So, if she bites you, I'm not going to jail. You sure are, ma'am. For what? Because you're intoxicated and you're I'm out here. Okay. Well, you're going to jail. Wow. Oh, wow. You don't get that right right now. I'm not under arrest. What am I under arrest for? Public intoxication. You were making page when I walked up here. You've been pulling on the Jeff Bridge doors later on camera doing it. So, when officers place her under arrest, she resists and reacts like this. You're going to jail. Wait, hold on. Say it again. You're going to jail. No, before that intoxication. You're going to jail for Wait. Public intoxication. Disorderly conduct. Oh, wow. And more than likely resisting arrest. Man, listen. Uh, listen. I know my rights and I need to be able to contact my attorney right now. You're not contacting your attorney right now. Oh, I know. I have I know right. You do have rights. You are 100% correct. You do not have the right to contact them right at this moment. Yes, I do. No, you don't. You sure don't. So crazy. Yeah. Let's all get away from the dog. Sit up. Stop. Just have a seat in the chair. Take a seat in the chair. No. Stop. There you go. Wow. Yeah, I'm trying to slip it off. I need to go tighter for you. No, I need you to take it off for a second so I can You're not doing anything. This is so nuts. Well, you shouldn't drink too much and you should learn how to be an adult and control how much you drink. I'm not even trying to drive. I'm getting on a plane. I mean, seriously, how long have you been at the airport today? Have you waited for your flight for a long time? I'm here at 2:00. 2:00? What have you done since 2:00? I didn't have like anything to eat or drink. You didn't have anything to eat or drink at the airport. Through it all, officers do their best to keep the situation under control, especially for the sake of her visibly anxious dog. So, you drink a lot of alcohol before you came to the airport? Is that what you're saying? I'm not saying that. Okay. Does your dog bite? Does she bite? Yes. Depends. Okay. Has she bit people before? No. Okay. She nibbled at me the entire time. She did not bite. What time was the DC flight leaving? Um, that flight was supposed to leave. Did I leave? Yeah, it's gone. Yeah, that's what I figured. Couldn't see anyone else down here, so I figured it was gone. She was the last person to board, but she just couldn't make her way down and took her 10 minutes to try to get the duties to get boarding pass, but she couldn't for 10 minutes. What time was that flight? Um, it was a 6:25 departure. Okay. The flight was departed at 6:25. She just couldn't make it to the Apparently she was standing here with the dog and they made multiple pages for her name and she wouldn't board the flight. They tried to manually board her. You have her paperwork in your bag. Yeah. Apparently she couldn't produce a boarding pass and so they were trying to help her out and manually board her and then she said she was going to Ghana and they were like, "Yeah, you're not flying anymore." She didn't know where she was. So she was denied and started yanking on doors and making pages and don't do not do that. Do not bring your cuffs around the front. I'm just trying to like Don't They're not supposed to be comfortable. Do not bring They're not going to be comfortable anyway. Correct. Um. Yeah. Um. Hey, Hunt. Hunt. Hey. Good girl. All right. So, here's the plan. We're going to take her and the dog both. We're going to go downstairs. We're going to load your dog into a different car and we're all going to go back to the station together. Okay. There's no one that can come get the dog here. Nashville. Yeah. No, in there. The situation intensifies as she continues to yell, draw attention, and resist physically. As soon as this door opens, there's stairs. So, we have to go downstairs. They still have to be behind you. So, please don't resist in any way going down the stairs cuz I don't want to see anybody get hurt. Yeah, it's on the top. Yeah. Take her. I'm not going to hurt you. I promise. She doesn't like strangers. I know you. She doesn't like stringers. That's fine. But I'm going to have to make her. So, no, you're not. Somebody else. Wow. Okay. No. So, no. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Y'all, I'm leaving for Aba. Not right now. Tomorrow at least. Maybe later. And you want you want the dog to be able to go with you, right? She is going with me. I have all of her paperwork and everything. Then do your best to keep the dog calm. She's not. She can't go to jail with you. So, she's going to go with us. I'm not going to jail. You are going to jail? You are. You are. You are going to jail. We explained that to you. What? For what? Hold on just a second and let me tell you something. I promise. You want the the dog has to go with us? God. Hey, yelling on your dog. Stop yelling. Oh my god, y'all. This is so Listen to me. Stop yelling. No. I need I'm going to agitate the dog. You're not calling your attorney. Yes, I am. I already told you you're not calling your attorney. Yes, I am. You're really not. Yes. You're really not. Oh my god. No. Stop. Stop. You're drunk. You were making in the airport. You were trying to open Jeff to get to secured. Stop. You're drunk in public. Hey, listen to me. Listen. Make it worse. Calm down so that you don't agitate the dog more. Right. I don't want anything to happen to your dog, but we need to keep the dog as calm as possible cuz the dog has to get in the car. To make matters worse, she starts blaming officers for things she's actually responsible for, like her own probation. Okay, does that make sense? No, none of this makes sense. Okay, I'm sorry you're not understanding, but I can't explain it any differently than that. You're going to jail. The dog has to leave this airport and now because you told us no one's coming. I don't know. You don't know. You know what? You know what? I know. I know what started this. Okay. She got your hand. Yes, she I'm listening. Listen, I know my rights and and and I can call my attorney right now. Can't call him right now. Yes, I can. Yes, I can. We are still We are still actively in the process of taking you into custody because you're being arrested. I would stop resisting cuz I will charge you. This is so resist that y'all are arresting me. Like got her. I mean like are you seriously? Like she likes you. I'm not going to hurt your mom. I promise. If I reach down there and grab it, she going to bite me again. It's a yes or no question. Do you want to reach down and grab her leaf? If you don't want to grab it, then I'm going to put this on her and then I'm going to drag her out. So, I mean, take this out. No, it's now. Oh my god. It's right under your hand right now. If you will take it, it will make this whole process easier. This is so crazy, you guys. Like, seriously. Really? Yes. All right, we're good. Good. Okay. Come on. Let me go this way. We're going to grab your stuff. We're not going to leave it. Right here. Hi. Nope. Nope. Dude, stop calling the doctor. All right. She's getting in the She's getting in one of these cars. I don't care which. So crazy. Do you do you know how much like this is going to like screw up like my like my probation and stuff? Well, that's not good. After some resistance, she's finally secured and escorted to a patrol car while her dog is safely handed over to the airport's canine unit for temporary care. Not good. Yep. It's very not good. What are you on probation for? So, I got set up from a guy that I met at a retreat um in Oregon. And I doubt you should. Your dog's in that car. You're going in this car. We're all going to the same building. All right. Just a second. I got it. All right. I'm going to seat belt you. This is the only time you're going to get seat belted. If you unbuckle, that's on you. Okay. The seat belt's there for your safety. Okay. Where are you going to get my dog? She's going to go to our station with our with our K9 units for right now. All right. So, she had all the paperwork. I'm assuming y'all are going to need a copy of that. Oh, okay. So, she was traveling out of country, so the dog has all of its vaccines. Oh, one of my K9 officers was the one who went and got it and loaded into his car and brought it to the kennel and I had him double check the paperwork cuz I don't know what I'm looking at. Do you understand how this is understand you feel that way? Yep. Anyway, I want to look all stuff. Yeah, your bag's up front. I've got your medicine, your phone, your wallet. All right. I've got it in your head. So, we're going to walk towards the door on the far side. Wait. And it'll be going to our station. And you have the address of where to pick it up in the morning cuz they won't take bags. It says it on the door right over here. But they don't take backs. Flight's already gone. Like an hour gone. I know. That's probably already in DC. I know. Hold on. I didn't tell you to come through yet. Instead of heading off on vacation, she ends up in jail where she'll now have to deal with the consequences of her actions. Have you been last 14 days? If you don't know, you're good. Any chance you're pregnant? I feel it. All right. Come step on this black mat for me, please. She ends up facing three charges. public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. Officers later confirmed the dog is returned to her the following day after she's released. So, next time you think you're above the rules, just remember how this one ended.
