Some customers throw tantrums. These ones need police intervention. Here are five cases when cops save employees from mentally insane customers. Number five, she thought a BB gun would solve the problem. She was wrong. A woman is frustrated after dealing with a landscaper who keeps entering her property despite repeated warnings. Feeling like she has no other options, she decides to confront him. She brandishes a BB gun to make a point. A 911 call reports an armed threat, prompting officers to respond swiftly, ready for the worst. For my protection, just to, you know, make sure he doesn't do anything. Okay. Um, and no, I did not point it at him. I kept it here and I No, I'm just Yeah. My main thing is is that that's not a it's not it. You're putting yourself in danger. You could have just called us instead of putting yourself into that position of bringing that stuff out here cuz that's not going to hold up. That's going to be bad on you because it is a weapon. You can still poke somebody's eye out with them. You can still hurt them with it. No, I would never hurt anybody with it. It's mostly for mind protection and it's not Some people can't distinguish what a real firearm looks like and a BB gun looks like. You may. Yeah. But maybe he doesn't. But it was not meant for him. So when we're getting a call here out we're getting a call there's a neighbor street with no gun anymore and everyone's like there is no gun and then he go well I have a I don't own any guns you don't but I have a BB gun it's a toy gun yeah and no I did not point it at him for the record also I don't know how to communicate to him like don't come into the garden don't keep the trash cans don't steal the stuff like I don't know what to do like at this point keep on camera no trespassing scheme Okay, you can put the signs all you want. You can put and you can put the video, but what you need to do is just call us cuz if you're going to come out here and put yourself in Let me tell you right now, I'm just going to I'm just going to throw this out there. Yeah. Let's say you did have a firearm and he keeps doing that and then you ended up using it. You would you would be at fault. No, I would never do that. That's it's not it's not protecting. But I would never do that. That's the thing. And I don't know how to keep him out. So why bring a BB gun out here and confront the man if you if you think you're going to need it that you should call us. Well, we've been Hello. No. Uh, we'll talk to you over there, sir. Okay. She tries to explain her frustration, saying that she didn't know how else to make the landscaper stay away. This is what the officers have to say. So, we called. Do you have your ID on you? Times. It's a mile, so I'll get my ID. But I don't know what how to keep him out. He keeps doing this week after week after week after week after week. Well, we're going to have to talk to him. But do you understand where we're coming from? No, I know where you're coming from. I just don't know what to do. What did you understand from what we just said or what my partner just said? Don't confront. Talk to police. Okay. I mean, I could call you guys. Do you see the issue at hand, though? Sorry. What do you mean? Do you see the issue at hand? Do you have the issue at hand right now that we're dealing with is the firearm? It's not I don't have a firearm. Okay. Okay. It's still a It's still a shoot projectile. Just so you understand it still hurt somebody, but it was not even close to him. Ma'am, it's in my garden. Listen, it's still a type of firearm. You understand that, right? It's a type. Okay. It shoots a BB. It can kill small animal. I don't think it kills small animal. No, it can. I'm telling you, it can. Yeah, but I kill with it. You You could kill dogs with it. All types of things. I have to keep something with me at But I can't. You coming all the way out of your house. Coming all the way up here. Placing a firearm right here. No, right here. Yeah. Keep it on my hand. Okay. Technicalities. Yeah. Excuse me. You still brought it all the way over here to confront somebody. No, not with the firearm. So, I'll explain to you again. Okay. You're trying to justify your means and we're telling you you're completely wrong. Okay? You're you're you're in this land over here that's not understanding the importance of what we're trying to tell you and you're just staying in your LA world. The officers make it clear taking matters into her own hands is a dangerous mistake. They warned that brandishing any weapon, even a non-lethal one, can carry serious consequences. World and not understanding anything we're telling you. No. Okay. I'm listening. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Understand this. Yeah. Taking a firearm or a BB gun or any type of projectile, bow and arrow or anything, a knife, anything coming all the way out of your house and placing it right here at the property. Ryan, to confront somebody is completely wrong. If you have the if you think you have the need to do that, you need to call us and not be confronting the person. That's what we're trying to get at because you know if there is implied intent with this, you could go to jail. Mhm. You cuz you are the primary aggressor. Oh god. No. Can I see your ID, please? Yeah. It's P. Oh, yeah. Send me a picture. But we have to stop him from coming. We We'll talk to him, but that's what we're here for cuz we want to mediate it and then we can also document if you can just ask him not to trespass. I don't know what I would like what what I should do. Um, if you don't mind finishing up gathering for 14. Yeah. Go there for a second. Yeah. Yeah. Just to help him out. Yeah. If you could just tell him not to come here like again. Just don't just don't enter the property. Well, we're going to be talking about that too with him. That would be amazing. Like just don't come inside. Stick to your side of the lawn. Can we see this BB gun? 51. Uh, I'm going to get on security. That's all I have for my protection. I don't have anything else. Um, this is all I have. Firearm. I don't have anything else on me. But if I don't have this, you can trespass. Do whatever you want. Ma'am, you can call us. We've already we've explained that multiple times, but you can call us. We can still trespassing. It doesn't work. I mean, none of that. And now that the gun is in full view, it's obvious why the police were called. Fake or not, that thing looks massive and intimidating. Well, this is not the way to go about it. Okay, you need to take a lawful course of action. This is not a lawful. I just kept it on the side. I literally don't know what else to do. talking a million times. A billion times. Not even a million, but a billion. Nonstop every single like day, month after month for years. Yeah. But the way you went about bringing that outside, it's No, I mean, it's not outside. It's still inside the garden. It's definitely No, no, no. Once it exits the inside of that residence, it's outside. If you have your firearm inside the residence, no problem. But bringing it all the way out here to confront somebody that is wrong with on him. It was mostly for me. So if he attacks me, if he tries to choke me or does anything, at least I have something. I'm not just, you know, standing there. But you went there to for your intent to confront him, correct? Not to confront him about that, right? Don't come inside the property. Like stay out of the property. By the way, his lawnmow truck was not parked outside his residence. It was parked outside my residence. That's where he parks it and then he comes inside, helps himself with the I can't do anything about somebody parking in front of your house unless they're parking in front of your driveway. Yeah. Yeah. No, I'm telling you what, but I'm just explaining through the whole thing. Did they look for I always expect something that looks his questions. Don't over Don't talk over him. My partner explain to me, I'm going get a statement from you. Okay. And what is your name again? Deputy Duncan. Duncan. Deputy Duncan. When Deputy Duncan arrives, she doubles down on her story. Her frustration boiling over once again. Give me a second. Okay, I'll tell you the full story. This incident of him trespassing and this incident of him trespassing to our garden, helping him sold the car has been going on for almost two years now. So, he comes in, he forcefully mows a large section of the grass. um claiming that it's his basically the hedges and like all the way back to where you're standing to that line the whole thing. Okay. They've told him a million times and a million times non-stop trespassing. Nonstop. So I put, you know, signs there saying no trespassing. These are being mom stopped him. I've talked to him. Call the owners. I don't think they really care much. That's the backer. All right. So now let's get back on track today. as usual per schedule. He comes again um and it starts um starts the head circling around. I told him I put an ultrasounding sign. Do you see the natureing sign? I says yes I see it. I told him then stay out. He's like oh you know did by accident and then he said he changed the story. Then he's like um oh no this is my cousin's grass or this is my cousin's these are my cousin's plants or something. Then, you know, the renters came out. Um, and I told them, "Do you see the patch that he's mowing?" Like, "Do you see he's mowing in front of the hedges and she's like, "Yeah." Um, I drove the lawn mower. He's amazing. You know, you can use him. He's awesome. I have to, you know, keep having him do it. Back on track. No, this is today. Okay. Yeah, but that's um now I don't know what to do. So, I was like, "Okay, I'm going to, you know, tell him to back off again." Um, so I went and I said, "Mom, let's go outside and she's like, you know, okay, I'm like, okay, I'll go on my own." So, uh, the only thing I have is my toy gun and it doesn't work. So, I was like, "Okay, if he tries to attack toy gun, what's the toy gun?" The one that I the one I gave you, the one you guys have. Um, is it a pallet gun? It is a pellet. That's pellet. Not a toy. The officers remain calm, explaining that whether or not she meant to threaten the landscaper, she put herself in legal trouble by bringing the BB gun outside. It's a pallet gun, but it doesn't work. But that's all I have. I don't have anything like I don't have any weapons. So, but it's it's good enough cuz it looks it looks like a real gun. It's real. It looks real. So, if it does the job, like it, you know, if he tries to choke me or does anything, I can just be like, "Hey, back off. Like, don't come into my garden again. So, I kept it on the side by the no trespassing sign and I told him, you know, like please just don't come again. Like, I don't know what else to tell you. Like, don't just don't come inside. Okay. Just to verify your intention for getting the pelican that looks real was to It was for my safety. But it doesn't work, right? It doesn't work. No, but it's still just be like, "Hey, back off." So, it was for your safety. Yeah. I talked to the landscape guy. He advised me that you that toy gun that looks absolutely real at him. No, I did not point the gun. Absolutely not. I did not point the gun at him. The gun is mostly like I don't know how cuz it's going to happen again. He's going to come walking. He's going to walk inside the house. All right. Give me a sec. Yeah. The time now is 1456 hours. We're talking. Ma'am, why don't you go have a seat on your uh bench right there, and we'll be right back. She insists she never pointed it at the landscaper, but the officers still have a decision to make. Come on over here, ma'am. Deputy Duncan's going to explain a couple things to you. You mind just Never mind. Yeah, go ahead. All right. So, here's the deal. Like I explained to you before, right? I have a reason I got a statement from you. I got your our job is basically to three three simple things. Save lives, preserve property and keep a peace. Yeah. Two of the three. Our jobs are done. Preserving property done. Save lives is done. Keeping a peace not so much. So what you did, you went out of your way to do the job by speaking to him instead of if it's a problem to him many times. Yeah. But you don't talk to people with toy guns. You get what I'm saying? That is a little too much extreme. You get get that to scare people. You can't do that. He said that you pointed at I did not point it. I don't Okay. You You say you didn't. That's fine. But right now, I'm just trying to keep them out of my house. All right. I don't I literally don't I'll explain it to him. Just what you want me to do. Okay. Property line. Don't even Yeah. All right. We're going forward. You can't point guns at people. I did not point that out. Even if it's real, even if this is fake. Even if I have a gun, I put it on the table. Hey, don't. That's still the same thing. I did not point it out. I know, but you still brought it out. You brought it out. Your intentions was to bring it out. You said that. You brought it out yourself. Okay. Yeah. Do you understand what's going I understand? But honestly, do you want me to tell your mom to grab you some shoes at all? No. I I wouldn't bother her. She just flew from India. Honestly, well, I got I'm going to give her your phone. Unless you want the phone to go with I'll keep the phone with me, honestly. I need the phone. That's all. We'll do the proper I do not need to go back. That's okay. Um, do you have any shoes at like the front door I could grab? All right. I'm just confused. Don't worry about the shoes. Visibly upset, she protests, claiming she owns no real firearms and never meant to harm anyone. But no matter how much she pleads, she now has to face the consequences of her paranoid actions. What's next? Meet you meet with me at Yes, sir. Um, do you have a paper? I'm just going to be walking over my case to victim information. You want me to tell your mom that you're going to the jail? Absolutely not. I'll handle it. Okay. So, she's just going to look outside and see that you're not here. That's fine. I'll call her. Okay. I'm honestly I don't even know what to say. I don't have a fire gun. A gun. I didn't point the gun at him. The gun is not for him. It's not for him at all. Deputy Duncan. Yeah. Did Did you communicate to him not to enter the garden? Yes. The woman was ultimately charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. Number four. Teens attack Wendy's manager in shocking confrontation. Police respond to a call at a Wendy's after reports of an assault in progress. When they arrive, they find multiple individuals causing a disturbance inside the restaurant. Employees and customers are visibly shaken as officers try to figure out what's going on. I'm not getting I'm working and I'm not getting paid. I'm working. I'm not getting paid. So I have a right to be upset. I'm not mad. I need my money. You want to have a seat? No. You going to let me smoke it in so I can figure out if there was I need a gun. All right. All right. So everybody's not here is not free to leave. Everybody here's the I'm not free to leave. I'm not a hustler. You are not free to leave. I'm telling you, you are detained. You are detained. You are detained. You are detained. Oh, y'all. Nobody detained. I'm not detained cuz you didn't get a call on me. So, let me out cuz I'm [Applause] custod. Okay. So, we got a call. We got a call. Her anger escalates as she yells at staff and refuses to leave. Why? She's yelling at her like how many times I [Music] Of course. Because y'all are here committing crimes and we're the ones. I was talking about this over here. This this manager. I I didn't How did I play along with it? If I was telling her to chill out. So, how that's playing along with it? Y. You see what I'm saying though? And you telling me I'm playing along? I don't know. That's what I'm trying to ask her. But I'm playing along with it. Well, I'm not going to ask her no more. You figure it out. Cuz I don't know. Missy, I need my money today. I need my money today. She lying. She is back there lying to this police officer. I'll talk to you first. Let's go over here. Uh, no. But she's trying to get video right now. S right to the left. Right here. Meanwhile, employees report that property inside the restaurant has been damaged. Witnesses say trays and equipment were knocked over during the altercation. So, they're just making threats and I just I don't have time for nobody. So, it was in totality. Everybody involved here was verbal prior to us coming. Okay. So, there was no battery. They didn't start they No, cuz I was in the back. They didn't start like knocking stuff over and stuff until I went to the back. Okay. So, do we have any damage damaged property? Yes. Yeah, they like I don't know. It's like the the front like where the cookies go in. They break that. Can I see that? Can you show me that, please? Yeah. Okay. Okay. And who who did all this? I I need to know who came back here and started uh being destructive. Her body officer her with the other officer with the pink shirt and then the younger girl and the girl with the pink shirt. Okay. What about the one that was screaming and being verbally aggressive before? Was she involved at all or she was she got here after the fact? No, she together. Okay. But who started being destructive with the property? Oh, so the one that's screaming, the one the picture, and the young one, not the mom. Okay. So, all three. Okay. We have four. Yeah. Five. Um, mom is fine. Mom's fine. Yeah, she's fine. Not 10:15. Not 10:15. No. So call, huh? Are we missing one? Um, call said five, right? I don't know. We got here fairly quickly, so it was total of four of them, right? Yes, it was a mom and three. Yeah, and three. Hey, sorry. Just four. The officers try to get access to security footage, but the system isn't available at the moment. Instead, they rely on witness statements to piece together what happened. Um, what's up with the cameras? Are they going to pull that up or No, she'll be here tomorrow cuz I don't have the mouse to You don't have access to it today? No, she's Okay. So, here I need you to be like 100% certain. The one that's over there, the pink shirt. Does she have the pink shirt on? Yeah, that's the one who was telling me that's what I want. That's why I ended up walking away when I was What about the one with the white shirt? Yes, that's the one who started. That's one who used to work well works there and her account number was wrong. And what about the other one? The young one. Yes. But the older lady, the one the color No, she So all three of them were back here. Mhm. They were back here. Mommy. Okay. They came back here. All three came back here. Okay. She had um her girlfriend the previous employee. Mhm. White shirt. Yeah. Her girlfriend took the cup and then that's when she saw she did this. She knows the thing, but I had her girlfriend. Which one is her girlfriend? On the picture. The one that was the one that was resistant. Oh, the one that's resistant. The younger. That's her. Okay. And then that's when the girl in the picture came over here and put the counter. Okay. Where does this go? Where did they not Okay. So, this was over the counter and they flipped it over. Okay. flipped it over from the other side. Who flipped it over? The girl with the pink shirt. Pink shirt. Who's sitting over there with the other officer? Okay. Um, the girl with the pink shirt. The one who flipped this, right? She flipped that Asia. The one who used to work here white shirt flip this that was right there. Okay. And the pink shirt and her. So both of them both of them that the pink shirt did that. Okay. the cookies cookie trays. Okay. Are you guys willing to write a statement? After speaking to employees and reviewing the accounts, police confirmed that three women were responsible for most of the damage. Okay. You witnessed everything, right, ma'am? No, I was on the phone. Oh, you was on the phone. Oh, okay. So, you didn't see exactly what went down? All right. Can we get two statements? All right. [Music] Hold on. Can go inside. I'll be there in a second. All right. All three employees. Yeah. are pointing towards all three girls. The one the pink shirt that you were the one that's crying said, "Listen, I have operation. I know I'm going to jail. I was trying to cover for my mom, but my mom is the one who knocked half the stuff off. She just told me everything. My mom is one of them." No, they're all saying the old lady's not uh the old lady trying to cover for mom. Oh, okay. That's why I don't want By the way, surveillance is not accessible at this time, right? So, she just told me mom's the one who knocked stuff off the counter. I know. So, she said, "White t-shirt, pink shirt, both flipped over the tray on the counter over here." Right. Then the other one went behind the counter and uh knocked over the cookie tray. The pink shirt is the one she said. I busted the cookie tray. My mom busted the counter. And I'm still getting what the others did. So, they're all Okay. Yeah. So, it's conflicting on the mom being involved then because all the employees are saying, "No, the old lady's fine." It was all three of them. The daughter's alone told them, "I don't want my mom to get in trouble. She's the one who broke out stuff. So, I'll I'll clarify I'll clarify all that with Yep. Are you ready to start? Y'all can do it one by one. I know y'all got to take care of some stuff. Um, grab your ID for me, please. And then don't worry about the top. I'll take care of that for you. Start here with your full name. Okay. And then all the details on what happened here and sign here. And I also want to um press charges because they're threatening. We still have to leave from work and come back to work. Yes. notate everything that you said and at the bottom I want to press charges and then you're going to initial down over here where it says initials. All right. The officers continue gathering statements while keeping the scene under control. Hey, the the older woman that's involved, what did she do? She just talked just verbal threats. Yeah. She didn't damage anything. I I just I didn't see that. Okay. All right. The the old lady that's here. What did she do? Who? The older the older woman. Did she do anything? She just talking junk. With the situation fully assessed, police proceed with arrests. All involved individuals are taken into custody and charged. They do have my name on them. Thank you. cuz there's a whole lot of stuff going on here. Uhhuh. All right. Pretty sure they're older than you. Sit down. [Music] Too slow. You can still get disorderly conduct charges. Do you have anything that's going to stab me or poke me? Okay. He does. He has a knife. He has a knife. Yes. Yeah. So when I ask you if there's going to something that's going to stab me or poke me, this is why I asked. Stab because it's pony. After a brief struggle, they managed to restrain him and place him in handcuffs. [Music] I roll over this way. Yep. Roll over on the other side. Why you being so rough, bro? He's not. Yes, you are. I understand, man. And that's why you had to be taken to the ground. I know. And you're not making it easy on us, my man. All right. So, came over. Yeah. Yes. Yes. Before we can have a conversation, you know the drill. You know the drill. That means I'm under arrest. Does not mean you're under arrest. All right. And let me explain it to you. Okay. So, because you are detained, because you are not free to leave, I cannot ask you any question that I want to without letting you know what your rights are. Okay? That's all me. That's all I'm doing. I am telling you what your rights are. You're telling me you understand and then we can have a conversation if you want to. Okay? So, let me do my job. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? Yes. Anything you say may be used against you in court. Do you understand? Yes. You have the right to talk to a lawyer before entering questioning. Do you understand? If you cannot afford a lawyer and you want one, what will be provided for you before questioning without charge? Do you understand? Has anyone threatened you or promised you anything to get you to talk to me today? Now, now that you have these rights in mind, and now that you're aware of your rights, do you want to have a conversation with me? Yes. Cool. They question him about the incident, but his responses are scattered and don't fully explain what happened. I'm I'm all ears now, man. So, what am I doing here today? Do you not want to have a conversation anymore? I do. So, then why are you being I'm asking you why are you here? Cuz I'm the police. And as soon as I got here, you said it's in there. They're in there. This is your chance to tell us your side of the story. If you don't want to tell us your side and have a chance to defend your side, that's fine. But this is your Why am I the only one in handcuffs though? So, because that's all we got right now. So, tell us your side. So, maybe somebody else needs to be put in handcuffs. But this is your chance to tell us that. This is the thing that the guy is aggressive. Okay. Which guy? He's very aggressive. Like I told you, I was sitting at the table asked for ice. That's all I needed. Where were you sitting at the table? Uh, closest to wherever the table. Was it like inside the Starbucks? No, inside closed at 6 they close. So I went down closest to Starbucks and I just asked for ice. I already had my own drink. Okay, cool. So I was just asking him for ice. This guy was like acting like aggressive like the whole time like he had All right. What was he saying? I don't remember what he was saying. But it was aggressive. There was an attitude behind the whole time. Okay. I don't know if it's because I got the bandano on this style to me. I don't wear this like all the time. It's style. I mean, the bandana doesn't really scream. It doesn't mean nothing, bro. Like, it's same color as y'all got on, but it don't mean nothing. It's like he stereotype me and obviously I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what the hell. I swear to God, bro. So, he's being aggressive and all that stuff. Then what happened? Ask him. I want to see his I'm asking you, bro. You were there, too? That's all I ask. He was aggressive. I'm sorry. He was acting aggressive. Instead of giving clear answers, he deflects and insists he did nothing wrong. That's all I had. So from the time that he was being aggressive to the time that I saw you outside of the You see how I came out? Did I come out hostile? No. You walked right past me. Cuz I didn't know you were involved. Exactly. So how am I supposed to know? I wasn't here. Holding an ice pack and holding this and he's acting. And why is he holding an ice pack? Ask him, bro. I'm asking you. ask him because if I ask him and he tells me one thing and then you don't tell me anything, guess whose story I'm going with? And listen, it progressed because of him. Okay. So, explain to me what this progression is. But now he's trying to act like he's want to press charges. I don't even know what he wants to press charges for because I've been dealing with you this entire either. But when he was standing at the door with ice pack, did something get physical? Listen, when he was standing at the door with ice pack, he said, "I want to press charge." He's whining and stuff like Okay, Christopher, I understand that, but like I told you, I have not spoke to him yet. I don't know what charges he wants. He can press charges all day, but if I don't have a crime, then I can't press charges. So, I got a crime. I was minding my business getting ice, bro. It should be on some kind of camera. And then after the ice, why is he holding an ice pack? Ask him. I am asking you. I'm telling you. And that is all I tell is You're really not telling me anything because So, this is the story you got so far. You You asked Bryce. Yes, sir. He was aggressive. You magically transported outside in the carport. I'm missing a whole chunk there because somewhere in that chunk, man's holding an ice pack saying he wants to press charges. So now I'm curious to know what transpired between the argument about the ice and the time that I met with you in the lobby. I want to see if he what he want to say. Honestly, I want to see if he going to tell the truth. Okay, so here's the thing. When I go talk to him and he tells me everything and he doesn't play games with me. Hey, I don't play games. I gave you I gave you the chance to tell me what happened. No, no, no. Listen. I'm giving you the chance to tell me what happened. and all you want to tell me is ask him. So, I'm going to ask him. He tells me, "You didn't tell me anything." I go back. After a lot of beating around the bush, the man finally explains his side of the story. This is what happened. I asked him for a cup of ice. I asked him for a third cup of ice. He's like, "Oh, well, we don't want to do this because you I didn't you you was complaining because me asked for ice." Okay. And then after the third cup, I'm like, "Okay." I held up a cup because I still had some ice. But I'm like, bro, I'm just seeing like, you know, like, you know, cuz I know how people act around here. Sure. So, I asked him for the third cup because I wanted to take it to go and put it in my my little uh thermal the thing I got, the drink thing I got. Yep. I wanted to put it in that to go. Okay. I asked him for a third cup and he started complaining and this and that and he swelled up on me and you can see everything. Like if he tell you the truth, bro, he going to see that he sweat up on me, acting like and the whole time he was serving me. He said, "I'm here for you. I'm a guest." But at the same time, he was acting aggressive the whole time. Okay? And I'm like, "Yo, I'm being cordial. I'm being presentable. I'm being like as polite as I possibly can." All right. And it's like, he has no reason to do that. Like, why is he acting that way? But after I kept asking him for ice, and I'm not asking him for nothing extravagant. Ice. Ice. Yep. I got you. And he's being aggressive. That's kind of out of the line. All right. Kept acting aggressive. I defended myself. So, okay. So, I understand that. I defended myself. What did he do that made you feel like I need to defend defend myself? He defended I defended myself. You can see it everything. Sure. But like I said, I haven't seen the camera yet. So, I'm asking you, what did he do that prompted you to be like, I need to defend myself. I need to make sure I'm okay. You camera. I swear to God, bro. I'm not I'm not going to with you. I'm not going to waste your time. So, you keep saying that you don't want to with me. All right. And I appreciate that, but everything you've been doing up until now, uh, is pretty much I'm I'm asking you very direct questions. I want to get your side of the story. You're telling me to go look at cameras. All right. So, I'm going to go look at cameras. I'm going to go talk to him. Something tells me that he's going to tell me the whole whole story without all this back and forth. So, we're going to see what happens. Man, just just hang tight, man. Uh, let me turn on the air for you. The officers then speak to the employee who give them a full account of the attack. Sir, how are you? Quite good. All right. So, I know you're working on a statement for me. I appreciate that. But I am the primary officer. Could you just give me a quick rundown? I know you told this officer. I know you probably told three other officers. Okay. Um, so the first interaction with him, um, he was already like he wanted to argue. Okay. So, can you just describe who he is? Um, yeah. You mean like what he was wearing? Yeah. What does he look like? Oh, well, he's African Africanamean. He was wearing a black short sleeve where you can see his arms. Uh, black and white. He also had something in his head. He had glasses. Okay. I know exactly who you're talking about. Continue the story. Um, so he, so once I noticed, um, basically he was just trying to charge some stuff there. I just like, "Look, let me just clean the table and you can have the seat." Mhm. Um, out from that. Um, he moved around cuz the plugs were not working. So, he finally found the booth where he was sitting at um, he asked for a cup of ice. I provided him the cup of ice. He was there about an hour and a half. Um, and then got to the point where he's I'm taking care of other guests and he's just yelling at me like, "Hey, I need more ice." And then that's where I told him. I'm like, "Look, I can't have you do that." Like, "This is done." Is he a guest here? He's not. Okay. Um, was he in the bar area? Was he in the Starbucks? Where? He was. So, there's the bar, there's some booths here, but then there's a wall, and then there's four booths. Okay. Is that open to people that aren't usually guests here? Like if someone comes in for like lunch or drink, they can. That's totally cool. Yes. All right. Continue. Fine. Um so at this point you're like, "Man, you gotta leave. I'm trying to help other people." Yeah. Because at this point he's been taking over the table for an hour and a half. I haven't asked him for anything. But now he's being disres disruptive. He explains how the man became aggressive over ice, followed him behind the counter, and started hitting him. Now he's an unwelcome guest. Correct. Okay. Um, and then at that point he said, "Well, you're going to take care of me cuz I'm a guest." Okay. And then I'm like, "At this point, it's done." So that's when he got up. Um, so he's sitting at the side of the booth, the table booth, and I'm standing here. And then that's when he got up like that. And then that's when I started going back and that's where I went behind the Starbucks where it's just like a metal curtain. Mhm. Like a partition wall. Correct. Yep. And then he just got up like like following me. And then once he made it behind there, that's when he went into like fight mode and he put up his arms and then that's where he tried to punch me a couple times. He didn't until he hit me here onto this side. So we went from this side to this side. That's where I fell on the floor and he kept I was on the ground and he kept punching me after you fell. After I fell like I'm on the ground and he's just going at it and not putting up my arms. So defend yourself. Yeah. Um so I know that was probably a complete blur. Do you know about how many times he made contact with you? I don't know. He He was Would you say he was like whailing on you? He was he was dying to do it. Okay. All right. Um so from there when I finally was able to get up, he he was walking away and then I said like, "What's wrong with you?" Um and then he goes, "Oh, you want more?" And then that's when he came back to to try to punch me. And at that point I just went around and then that's where I came to front desk and I asked them to to like call. When he when he said you know do you want more? What what was his actions at that point? Oh he he put back up his arms like he was ready to to go like about maybe throw a punch or whatever. How close was he? Even while the worker is down he continues hitting him. The employee tries to defend himself blocking as many punches as he can. So in the when you guys go back there like there's the beginning of the the sugar bar the Starbucks has I'm at the other end. So he will have to like he would have to take several steps towards you take sever that's why I was able to go understood. Okay. All right. I appreciate that. From that I I mentioned to the officer that there's one camera back there. At that point that area is closed so there's nobody else back there. Um, I think people noticed because everybody when I came around were looking um because of the yelling cuz I'm like get off of me. Um, I don't know if people saw me on the floor on the side. Okay. Before he hit you the first time, I remember you said he made some type of threat. Uh, what was that? Well, he he did say um um Um he well when he was getting up he goes if not I'm I'm going to beat your ass. Okay. Something in those lines. So he gave you one of those like conditional threats a warm like a warning like and then um that's actually something that I told him like is that a threat? Okay. And then like at that point like it was just I it was completely out of control. Okay. I appreciate it. Now you said there is a camera back there. There is would it would it have picked up any of this? It it should because it should be facing the whole Starbucks. Okay. Who has access to this camera? Um that would be the front desk. Contact the manager. Yeah. So the front desk is probably calling the same person who's a director. Fantastic. All right. Go ahead and finish that. I put it in group. Thank you. The officer ensures the employee receives medical attention from EMS and requests a written statement detailing the incident. Sir, were you seen by medical? Yes. Okay. Yes. They they they saw me. They checked my blood pressure. I was I guess cuz of everything. That was my main concern cuz I suffer from high blood pressure. We want to make sure the vitals are all cool. They said that was fine. It was a little high, but Okay. And you said you got punched on the on this side? Right side of your face. Yeah. It was like right here that I felt like it was all right here. Um, everything else it was just more like I had my arms up to now. Cool. Um, so I've got everything. I'm going to roll with this guy. Um, do you mind saying for the statement? Yeah. Thank you for the help. I appreciate it. The man is booked for battery, resisting law enforcement and burglary with assault. Number two, how a vacation turned into a criminal record. A woman tries to enter a bar, but is denied because she doesn't have a valid ID. Instead of leaving, she forces her way inside, causing a scene. The bar staff immediately calls the police to remove her from the premises. [Applause] Let's go. Let's go. You're not going to leave. All right. Listen. The business wants you to leave. touch you. They're not taking you outside. I'm not going to tell you again. You ain't going to catch me. Yeah, just a different one. Reaper about two seconds. Put your ass in jail. out of here like the update. Go somewhere else. Okay, go somewhere else. We're going to explain to them. We don't want them fighting out here. Okay. You just going to have to I'm not going to tell you again. I'm not going to tell you again. I'm not going to tell you again. Wait. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Have a seat. She'll calm down. She'll calm down. Right here. The officers tried to deescalate the situation by offering them options, including calling a ride to take her home. However, she ignores their efforts and becomes more agitated. You okay, mama? It's okay. Calm down. Now, you got two options. That's all. All right. We've been very patient with you tonight. Hold up. Back up, man. Back up. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. Sit down. All right. You have two options right now. Okay. Option number one, you go to jail for for disorderly conduct and um and drunk in public. Okay. Anna, listen to me. Second option is somebody can grab a cart and we can take you home. It's okay. My mother hat. I just need a taxi. You need a taxi? Okay. How do we call a taxi? My mother had over my ears. We need a taxi. And I made kissing my pants. Cuz you're going to sit here until a vehicle comes and you can leave. I could have tried to go in there and pay. I tried to use back the money to get alcohol. No, I didn't get alcohol. You would put me in there. I didn't let you do anything. I know. I know. That's why. That's all. She got paid. That's why. Ma'am, this is a private business. They have the right to service. It has nothing to do with color. All right. Come on. There's a whole bunch. He would like a vehicle to come and you guys can go home. I just need a taxi. Drink. That's where Let me go y'all. Yo, you got some ID on a call me up. Take me to jail. Sit down and calm down. Sit down. Sit down and calm down. Take me to jail. Sit down and calm down. The officers remain calm, patiently explaining that the bar has the right to refuse entry and that her escalating behavior is only making matters worse. It's because I'm white. [Applause] That's all it is. That's all it is. I want a white person over here. I want a somebody who ain't prejudice to me. They're prejudice. They're prejudice. Listen, listen. Can you back them up right now? Y'all better get too. They're trying to lock me up to some point. You wouldn't let me go to the bathroom. You're crazy. You can't use the bathroom. If you like to tell you again to sit down ask the people at Wet Willies on River Street. They just let me in on River Street. But do you see where I'm coming from? I was thinking, okay, well, they let me init the same down and relax. It is the same. Not there was no police officers at the door when I got there. You want to go to town? No. I want them to take me to jail and get these mother handcuffs off me. We are now. Now. Now we are. Now now take me to jail in your car. You you you're a woman. Take me to jail in your car and get these handcuffs off of me. Want you to go home. I know. I want you to go home, too. Because you're prejudice. I want you to go home because you're not doing your job. Okay. I'm so sorry. Well, no. I I need her to get into a vehicle. I'm not letting her walk away from me. I don't have I don't have to. I'm 44 years old. I'm older than you. You're as old as my daughter. You're as old as my daughter. But instead of deescalating, she doubles down. Her voice rising, her actions growing more erratic. Cooperation, listening, those concepts don't seem to exist in her world. You are 40. I'm 44 years old. I'm old enough to be your mama. She going to go to jail for what? For pretty much. Okay, let's go. I got to pee. Push, mama. I need to pee and change my car. Okay, but I got to pee. What are you waiting for? Yeah. Well, it's too late for that because we asked her to leave. She refused to leave. You What are you waiting on? What are you waiting? I wait on my super. I was literally everybody just back on the door. I felt like smell like I said let me get I know it is cuz you're prejudice. Just h okay I know I'mma call like y'all do prejudice. That's right. Let me tell you what you did wrong. I listen the business the guy who works at the front door not us. He refused you to come in cuz you had no ID. She had her listen. She does not have a a physical copy which means that they cannot let you in because they will be fine. You're not listening. You're talking over and now I'm not listening. They cannot let you in at this location without a physical ID. That's why the police are here because of underage drinking. They told her she could not come in and she forced her way in cuz she was about to pay. That doesn't matter. She's an adult. The daddy told you to come on multiple times and you refused to leave. But listen, then when you came out here, you tried to you tried to fight a police officer. That's why. Yes, she did. It's on my camera. That's why I went hands on and that's why you're in handcuffs. Because you trying to find a police officer. Now, guess what? She was trying to push. Now, guess what? Now, guess what? Charge me. Now, guess what? Now, guess what? You're not listening. You're not listening. You're not listening. Okay, that is your fault. Not ours. We told you to leave. Now, this is why you're in the situation. She just had to. So now I got to get my supervisor on because I had to put you against the wall and put you in handcuffs because you were getting ready to attack my officer and I don't like that. She don't. Okay. She might not be a fighter, but she but she took a a presumptive stance. Even as the officers spell out exactly why she's being arrested, she refuses to acknowledge reality, clinging to denial as if it's her last lifeline. But listen, my point, I just went to the scene. The reason why Okay, you're not listening to me. You're not listening to me. The reason why you look at me when I'm talking just like I did with you. Same respect. I just went to River Street and they let me in with that ID. There's a reason why. But you're right. Let me give you this. Let me give you an example. Okay. The McDonald's down the street might not be the same McDonald's that you come. There's different rules. You're right. Yeah. But you didn't have to be so forceful. Why did they let me in there and you could I didn't because you were being prejudice towards me. Ma'am, I asked you like six times to just leave. I had to. I even let your family teach you to leave. Yes. And the reason why I'm being ugly towards you is because you wouldn't let me in the piece. I did not because you came inside and they wanted you to leave. Well, I apologize y'all. Like I really do. And I paid all of my door all the way down because I respect any law enforcement or anything like that. Like I really do. I'm not prejudice. It is being prejudice to me. I told you not to come up here. I don't give a I'm coming up here. Yeah. They shouldn't be being pre There's three black men right there and a black woman right here. They're not. They're prejudice. Somebody get somebody white up here. They're not kids. I'm not kidding. I want somebody who is on me. I don't care. I want the police department. Is there any white on the police department? She's the one that wouldn't let you in. Okay. Well, I want a white police officer up here cuz they're pranks. Very mean to me. You tried to push me against the wall. Yeah, I did. Just because you tried to hurt me. You're that I want to go to jail. Get up. Get out of here. We're trying to get out. We're trying to get out of here. The officers give her multiple chances to walk away without consequences. Yet, she refuses every single one. Instead of taking the easy way out, she digs in her heels, pushing the situation past the point of no return. This man hurt me and injured me. Yes, I do call them. That's why you're police officers. Y'all get refined from people. Like I ain't even no police officer trying to get nothing against no white people or black person or whatever. I love everybody and they're trying to meet me down and everything else in that bar. Well, thanks for getting some. Yeah, my arm doesn't. Okay. Well, when the handcuffs come off, they do X-ray. They're going to see. Okay. Well, whatever. plan wrong. This one is Yeah. I don't know what Oh, there we go. She It's what she wants to do. If she wants to go, then she she's going. That's fine. This is her choice. Yeah, that's fine. You know how much it cost for you to ride in the ambulance, go to the hospital? They're going to let you go with 10 cuz they can't let me paint. Do you want me to drive you to Memorial and we don't have to have a bill? I'll take you right now. No problem. Sorry this had to happen. No problem. Sorry this had to happen. You can follow up. Damn shame. I run into my dog. So now we got to go write a report. I a blame you. I'm just Eventually, officers take her into custody and charge her with disorderly conduct, criminal trespassing, public intoxication, and obstruction.
