Security had one job. Deal with the Kairens. And let's just say they understood the assignment. Here are five cases when cops kick the out of insane Karens at the airport. Number five. Unruly teens airport outburst ends with an arrest. A woman at the airport security checkpoint starts causing a major scene. Security is called in to deal with her disruptive behavior. I'm good. But then keep looking back here. She keep looking back here. No, I'm not stepping back. No, I'm good. Okay, so you're not let her know. Okay, that's cool. She over here about me. [Music] Wake up. Stop. Stop. Hey, stop. [Music] I'm cool, but they about to arrest me. Let me see my phone. No. So y'all not going to detain her though, [Music] right? So you're not going to be here, right? No. Don't Don't take my book tag off. So you're not going to keep your book bag on. Leave it on. Leave it on. No. Yes. Y'all just going out the way to hurry. Wait, what the wait? [Music] You got to take back up. Stop. Break it down. She resists as they attempt to put handcuffs on her, making it more difficult for everyone involved. [Music] That's That's what you wanted. You happy now? Stop. [Music] Arrest her. That's enough. Arrest her. Arrest her. That's enough. Arrest her. Right. Stop. Arrest her. She doing the same. Arrest her. Stop. Loosen up handcuffs, bro. Yeah. Yeah. Loosen up them handcuffs. 12. You got the third level. Hey, go back to my bro. Can you go back? Catch me outside. Catch me outside though. That's all I'mma say. You doing all that talking? [Music] No. Stop. She's making it worse. [Music] [Applause] Are you a church? No, bro. That's not right. That's not right. Calm down. Calm down. Can you stand against the wall for me? Let me go outside first. No, let's not. We can. It's cold outside. So, right here. No. Please. Please. Let me go ahead. Let me go. Let me stand right here. If you'll stand right here and calm down. Okay, let me calm down. That's all I'm going to say. Officers finally managed to escort her out of the airport and get her under control, but she keeps behaving like this. Hold on. Just right here in the corner. Okay, you want to come outside? I'll let you come outside. So, let's breathe and calm down. I can't let you walk out of this corner. I just want Give me a second, please. But do you understand? I'm just saying you can't come out. Okay. Where is she? We can take her to the dancing party. Okay. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm sorry. We order the conduct. I have a video of it. Okay, ma'am. Um, so right now this happened. I got there. She was being authority toward me. I tried to talk in there, but she did not calm down. And you saw it. I had it on video there, too. And I understand that. I Everyone's like been some people been here for 3 days. I understand. But y'all see how she was talking, right? So why is she not getting arrested right or wrong? We So what we going to do right now? You're in arrest for this oral conduct. For who? This conduct. Arrest. Yeah, that's No, that's not right. That's not right. If that's the case, y'all going to arrest her, too. No, you're the one that's screaming in my face. Okay. Are you serious right now? I've been trying to talk to you for fun. I try to give a chance to But you were screaming. Can I talk? No. Okay. But you wasn't there at first. You Exactly. I wasn't there. So I was saying that's why I I tried to take control 5 minutes. You gave me 5 minutes. You like No, you weren't there for the whole thing. You wasn't there for the whole thing. So for you to arrest me just for what you did in front of my 10 minutes in front of my Okay. many times. You wasn't there at the start of the You wasn't there. You wasn't there. So for you to arrest me and not her, that's not right. That's not right. She insists that the other person involved in the incident should also be arrested, arguing that she is the victim. The officers, however, remain focused on the situation at hand. Ma'am, I'm safe. But we try He tried to stop and talk to you, but you won't listen. No. Listen to me first. Escalate. You don't know what escalated that. No. No. What got me to that point though? So that's why we were standing there the whole time, right? Cuz you noticed when the girl came up, talked to us and pointed out both parties, right? No, I didn't. I didn't. Well, that's why we kept standing there because somebody told us there was an issue between two passengers and we didn't know who the two was. Can I explain the part? So, we didn't know who the two parties were for sure. We were waiting. When it started up again, she was trying to talk to us and tell us what was wrong. Then we came to you to talk to you. We tried to give you the opportunity. Then that is when you yelled at him and you weren't listening. You have to listen to our to what we're saying. My phone. I was minding my business and she kept talking to me. Right or wrong. Right or wrong. As bad as it sucks. You have to be able to ignore people. And then you have to talk to us. And I was minding my business on my phone. But then you start something else to say to me while I'm on my phone discussing what the I have to talk about. She she should not have no input on that. Point blank. Period. If I'm on my phone, I'm not talking to her directly. Right. Right. Right. Okay. So, with that being said, she wants to call security because I'm talking on my phone. She didn't call us. She did. She kept saying she kept saying she didn't uh she didn't call. Sir, listen. At at the beginning, she kept calling for security. She called for y'all about three times until y'all came. While I'm on the phone, she kept calling for y'all. So for y'all to arrest me and not see where it started from, that's not right. That's not right. That's my whole principle of it all. So y'all just at that point, I understand. I apologize. Don't let me talk. I'm not talking. I apologize that you wasn't there. Just talking to me. As the officers try to escort her out, she continues to argue and refuses to accept what's happening. Keep going. I don't have to listen to you. Yeah. You wasn't there at the at the startup. So, you don't understand why I'm so hostile at You don't understand. You understand? Where we going? What y'all taking? Y'all really taking me to jail? Yes, you are under arrest. Please stay to death. Are you serious? I know it sucks. Watch your head. Okay. Give me my phone. Give me my phone. Give me my phone. No. No. I'm not even from here, bro. Like, what are y'all doing? No. Time out. Time out. Cuz y'all not giving me nothing. Y'all not giving me no information. Listen. I'm I'm going to talk to you. Okay. No, you saying you talk I'm going to talk to I'm going to talk to my sergeant real quick. Then I'm going to talk to you. Okay. We're not driving away. Okay. You have to get inside the car. Just pull out here. All right. Can I please talk to you the sergeant? Excuse me. Okay. Can I please can I Okay. So, the lady I got in school with, I'm on my phone talking to my mother and she's in my conversation over here calling the security about what I'm talking to my mom about. So, they want to come over here and start arresting me because I'm still hostile. Okay, I understand that. I apologize for that. But they wasn't there during the start of the argument nor in the middle of the argument, just the end of it. So, for me to get arrested and not hurt and y'all trying to take me to jail, that's not right. That's not right. And you know what? I apologize for that. I I I was hostile. I've been here since 11:00 in the morning. I'm hostile. My flight got cancelled. I'm hostile. I am. I'm calmed down. And I I explained this to What's your name? Cersei. I explained that to Officer Cersei. I'm calm. Even as she's placed into the police vehicle, she continues to push back, still trying to explain her side to the story. She kept nagging. She kept picking at me and saying stuff to me. And you already know how that goes. That starts getting me irritated. So, but for y'all to try to arrest me and take me to jail, I don't feel like that's necessary. But from what I was told, okay, they were originally not going to do this. Okay. And they originally not we're not going to take you to jail, but things escalated. That's because she kept talking. She kept saying, but that's that's the thing. And that's the thing. She kept talking. She kept she kept, you know, dragging dragging the stuff along. But like again, they didn't arrest her. They put me in handcuffs though because I said some back cuz I was I was hot. And like I said, I apologize. I write my wrong. I apologize to y'all. Right or wrong. I apologize. apologized after the fact because I knew I was wrong, but I was upset because you kept nagging. That's the thing. You have to stop when we ask you to stop. Okay. So, a warning is okay, but for y'all to try to take me to jail over that. That's not right. That's not how that works. Yes, it is. Yes. Y'all can give me a warning if y'all wanted to, but y'all wanted to take me. No, we were going to give you a warning and you can you continued. We tried to get you to calm down and talk to us. Yeah, I'm calm. You see, I'm calm. You can't hang out here all day for So, what y'all going to do? So, what they're going to do is they're going to do their thing. Okay. They're going to take Okay. So, what they're going to do is they're going to take you to booking. Okay. You're going to you're going to go to booking. You're going to get booked depending on how things go down there and whatever the commissioner says, you get released on RO or a small bond. Okay? And then you can come back here and rebook your Okay. Can you please do my girlfriend first, please? Cuz like I said, we're not from here. We're not from here. I don't know where she at. I don't know. Where's my phone? He He has We have your phone. Okay. So, can I call her? She You can call her once you get down there. You can't call her right now. Watch your The officers stay professional and stick to their procedures. She realizes there's no way out of it at this point. So, don't bring me back to the airport. No, we're not bringing you back to the airport. How am I supposed to get back to the airport? Um, you can get Oh, I don't have no money for that, bro. Oh god, bro. All my hair. Y'all got to come back here though, right? Yes, ma'am. Huh? Yes, ma'am. Okay. So, why bring me back there? because we will be coming back before your bond and everything is set. Bro, please. Ma'am, can y'all hear me talking? Yes, ma'am. Why y'all can't take back to the airport? Y'all come back to the airport? Cuz I already told you we have to go back. We have to go back and continue to do our job. Bro, y'all know y'all know y'all wrong. I told y I don't have no I still way to the airport. Y know y in the end she learns the hard way that causing a scene in a crowded airport never ends well. So, um, before we go in there, I just want to advise you that if I miss anything searching you, any kind of like weapon, you guys, it's going to be a felony. Okay. Where y'all? I don't even want you touching me. Don't touch me. She was charged with disorderly conduct. Number four, entitled Darren learns the hard way that rules apply to everyone. If you thought only Karens could turn an airport into a mad house, think again. This Darren just made a scene over a shuttle service. We'll talk over here. So, tell me what's going on cuz I got a story from dispatch. But tell me your side. So I I text that I have my bag, you know, I'm headed out here. I don't even have my bag checked. I get my bags. I come out here. I'm waiting. I'm waiting. So I finally call them and say, "Nobody's out here yet." And they said, "They're on their way." So he finally shows up. It's like 25 minutes later. So I'm pissed. I'm aggravated. I mean, it's late. Yeah. I've been using these guys for 25 years. When they first got into business, I've been using them to travel. Okay. So, I'm a little pissed. I take my golf bags and I toss them in the in the van. And then I turn around to get my other bags and when I turn back around and look at the guy, my bags are still sitting there in the way. And I was like, "Move my golf bag." And he goes, "No." Okay. I was like, "You're not going to move my golf bag." He was like, "No." So, I go in and I move my golf bag and then I put my other bags in and he's like, "I'm not taking you." Okay. How long have you been here on the bus itself? You waited for 117 is when I texted. Okay. 117. Then you waited 25ish minutes till they got here. So, they got here before he got here. Okay. After taking the man's statement, the officers head over to the shuttle driver to hear his side of the story. That's good. And he said I hit his leg with my Okay. Which one else is driving this one? Yeah. Okay. So, tell me what's going on. Okay. I was just pull pull on here and I just about get out of my chair to help him. He just take the golf cart and like it's not like like solid like that. Hit my hit my leg. He said no. He said I said hey man what's going on? Why you do that? And he said keep saying hey mother some work like he keep say hey man don't don't don't don't do that and he said move the girls car. I said no I'm I'm not going to I'm not going to help if you if you you keep he keep telling that okay to me. Okay. He said I and he just put his feet like that in my face. Okay. And you say, "Hey, man. I'm not going to take you." They called and they called me back. My manager say, "Hey, you just get get off and send me the other and he he doesn't." And he keep saying he keep use the take off and do something like this. And the manager said, "Oh, no. Don't take him. That's okay." So he sent him to pick him up. Yes. Are you willing to take him? No. manager said don't take him. They said don't take him at all. He said don't take him because apparently he has to do something else. Right. So my manager said don't take him take a taxi or can they get can he get into y'all's parking lot? Yeah he can like that was ready waiting for him. All you got to do is get in. Meanwhile another officer arrives to verify the man's perspective. I was a little late showing up so I wasn't able to tell story. So when I moved back to Nashville 1994, so what are we talking about? 30 years. This company just started and I travel all the time with with work and I I started using this company at that point in time. It was independently owned. Um they've been great. The service has dropped off significantly since then, but I've still used and so it's late. I've been on a golf trip in Vegas with buddies of mine, you know, all week. I'm tired. I get in here late at night. I text that I've landed, you know, and and they send me the text that driver's on the way. I come out here and no driver. No driver. So I call and they said, "Well, yeah, you know, you're on the way." And and so then I called again. And he said, "You just texted like 5 minutes ago." And I was like, "No, I texted 17 minutes ago. That's a lot different than 5 minutes ago." And uh and then driver finally shows up. So, I'm pissed. So, I grab my golf bags and I toss them in the in the van. And then I turn around, I grab my other bags. And he's just sitting there looking at me and my golf bags are in the way. And I was like, "Move my golf bags." And he's like, "No." I was like, "Move my golf bags." And he said, "No." So, I got in the van, put my golf bags in them, and then I got my other bags and put them in. And he's like, I'm not going to take you. They have been using his job for 8 years. Never happened like this. Always help. And I don't know. He just keeps saying like the officer then explains that the shuttle service is a private company, meaning they have the right to refuse service. But despite this clarification, the man refuses to back down. And and put his face on my face. And he keeps saying, "Hey, hit me. Hit me. Hey, man. Let's this my I'm working. You don't have It's not worth your job. All right. So, according to their policy, they don't have to take you. Doesn't matter if you parked with them or not. Doesn't matter how long you've been a customer with them. They gave me the phone number for the management if you want to call them. But for now, you're going to have to take a taxi or an Uber to their lot and you can file whatever kind of complaint you need with them. But this is not this is not somebody that works directly for the airport. They're a contractor out of here. So there's not a whole lot we can do as far as recommending them and according to their policy. If they don't want to take you, they don't have to. So So what if I don't get off the ramp? Then y'all are just both going to sit here all day. Okay. I'm sorry. Um there's no one there right now. It's just me. Yeah. The only reason why I got on show is because there's no one else there to take me out to the airport. Okay. Um, can you just hold on one second because he knows a lot more than I do, you know, like as far as y'all's involvement exactly needs to be or what it is and stuff. Only side of the story I've had is his. I haven't had time to talk to y'all or anything. So, just to make sure that he doesn't need offer anything, he shouldn't be long on the phone. Stand by one second. So, this number they gave you? Yeah. The guy just says hello and never says anything else. period. It's their assistant manager that they've been talking to that told them to deny your service. So, he never if he says hello and he doesn't say anything else or acknowledge anything that I said afterwards. I would try calling your business hours, you might have better luck. That's my opinion. Let me call you back in just a minute. I'll check. All right. So, sitting on the bus isn't going to get you anywhere today. It's really not. The officers try to offer multiple solutions, but he refuses, standing his ground and making it clear he isn't going anywhere. Hear me out for a second. My lieutenant doesn't want I'm not paying No, I'm not paying for an Uber charge or a taxi charge. Are you listen for a second? Listen. She said I can give you a ride to the lot. No. We can put you in a car. We'll take you to the lot. Nope. We'll resolve it for tonight. Nope. Matter of principle. We need We need a resolution tonight. We're not going to sit here and camp. Okay. No, I can't. I'm trying to be I'm trying to be here. Can you work with me here? We need a resolution. We don't need to sit on the bus. You can go camp in their in their lobby in their office. You can do whatever you need to do tomorrow or if they're open tonight, you can go and sit in the lobby tonight. But right now, we're on airport property. Okay. It's private property. It's not property. I'm staying on this bus. If you're going to take me off this bus, you can take me off this bus with my property. We don't need Wait. Yeah, I can help you carry you back. I am going to stay on this bus with my bags. I'm staying on this bus for the service that I paid for. I'm staying on this bus. If they take me, they take me. If they don't, they don't. I need you to listen to me. I I need you. I heard you loud and clear. I'm going to get your ID from you. No, you're not. Yes. We're on private property. No, you're not. Okay. Then we're going to arrest you for disorderly conduct. Okay. We're going to do that. So, put your hand behind your back. Well, you can't arrest. Put your hands behind your back. You're under arrest. You should have listened. We offered solutions. You didn't want them. All right. Driver, right? It sure is. So, I do have to give you my idea and I will. Well, it's too late for that. 10:15 GTC. No, it's not a come on me thing. I told you to work with me. No. No. I I did. You would not work with me. You wouldn't work with me. Do you understand where I'm coming from? I do. I I empathize that. And what I said to you was that this isn't going to solve anything today and that you're at the airport and we just need a resolution today. I said I'd give you a ride. You can deal with the management however you want to and you didn't want to. Okay. No way. So stand right here. We're going to search you. Do you have anything that could be it? A weapon? Anything that's going to poke me or hurt me? I don't. Even after being arrested, he continues to complain. Still convinced he was in the right. Tonight now what's the difference between now and Did I talk to you then and you didn't want a resolution? Well, resolution now that it affects you personally. No, I mean, yeah, it affects me personally. It affects me personally before though. Can you loosen the right one up just a little? You've been arrested before. The GSA girls are you mind getting his stuff and taking it to hotel from Bravo? Hotel what? 11 Bravo. Yeah. You have any medications or medical conditions that you need any medication out of that bag, please? Anything that you need out of that bag that you're going to immediately need while you're in jail or immediate immediately upon getting out? No. Okay. So, how would I get you? You were holding up business at the airport because these buses can't leave with you here. You are refle Okay. Are you listening or are you talking? Cuz I don't know which one you want from me. You asked a question. If you don't want me to answer, I won't answer. Hey, so you had your backpack, your carry-on, golf clubs, and hoodie, right? That's it. Yes. Okay. No, sir. I'm going to take them to our station where they're going to be held. Come back whenever you're released, get all this stuff taken care of, and they'll be there under your name and all that stuff. He tries to argue, but at this point there's no talking his way out of it. But that's an issue for them. That's not an issue that needs to be duped out here at the airport. And at the point in which I say you're not allowed to stay here anymore and you continue to stay, there's no there's no resolution there. There's no fixing that. You need to fix it with corporate. But you didn't tell me I'm not allowed to stay here anymore. I did. No, no, you didn't. You said you said you said staying here is not going to resolve the issue. And I also said it's not an option. No, you didn't say that when I said what if I stay on the van. You said there's nothing they can do. Yeah. And that was what you said. I agree. That's what I said the first time. And then I spoke to my superior and I told you this. I was on the phone with her when you came and talked to me and I told you that that's not going to fly. I told you that that's not an option. I told you that we need to resolve this. I told you that we need to get you off the property. I offered you a ride. I offered you a cab. And it's you said the first time was what what was what the situation? Oh, the situation migrated and it migrated with you and you would not listen to anything I had to say. You just wanted to continue proving your point based off of the principle like you said, which I understand, but it still doesn't make it right to do what you did. You don't need anything else from me or anything. Those gentlemen good to go. I'll send them on their way. You are all good to go. We don't need anything else from y'all. We got to stand out. You told me that there was nothing that they could do or I could sit on the and I said, "Okay." And then you got back off and then we talked about it more. And when we talked about it more, you wanted nothing to do with it. Right. But you but you didn't tell me, "Okay, I was wrong. That was it. And now it's the rest of those defense if you don't leave." You simply said, "I need to see your ID." Let's be real here. This situation could have been avoided if he had just accepted the shuttle driver's decision and listened to the officers. Was like, "Well, I don't need to show you my ID." And then you put me in photos. That that I mean, that's it. That's that's how that went down. I asked for your ID. I told you it's private property, not public. You said you're not going to after I'd already told you that you needed to leave and that we were willing to take take you and help you. like there was there was a conscious back and forth between both of us and you wanted nothing to do with it. It was a very short conscious back and forth and it was after you told me that there's nothing that they can do and the situation continued to precipitate. Yes, we've already talked about that. You didn't tell me that that there was something which they needed and and now it changes. I mean, come on. All you had to do was say, "If you don't do this, I'm going to arrest you." That's all you had to say. There's there's one thing to stand on principle and there's another thing sitting in in cuffs at 2:00 in the morning. Instead, he turned a simple inconvenience into an embarrassing arrest. I'm just trying to get home. I'm just trying to get to my car. So, why did you do that? Did you think I was Why did I do what? Why did you arrest me? Because you were not willing to take any of the options that were given to you as alternative resolutions to the problem. You wanted to No, but you just weren't listening to anything I said and taking any of the alternative resolutions. Again, impeding business like those those guys can't leave. I told you. I told you. You told me I could stay there and there was nothing I could do until I did. Yeah. Until the situation changed. You didn't tell me I couldn't change. Okay. I said you can't I said you can't stay here. I don't know what else you want from me. I said you can't stay here. You said and I said okay I'm staying. And then when I came back out, you said, "I can take you can take you back with your bags." And I was like, "No, they I've paid for them to to shuttle me." Yeah. And that wasn't going to happen. They weren't going to take you. So I I know. Sitting there sitting there was doing nothing but impeding business and it was refusing it was refusing an order that you couldn't Okay. Well, then we're done talking. Control 837. The man is ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct. Number three. This is what happens when you try to sprint past TSA. Chaos erupts at the airport when a woman sprints past TSA without clearance. But things are about to get even worse. Never there. Can you guys call my friend Dion? He's over there. Hurry. Take her up. Put her take you to the freezer. [Music] Can you guys call my friend? I got my ID and everything with him. Yeah, I'm call. Did you call him right now? Yeah, we already did. You called? You called? No, you didn't. You don't even know who he's saying. What's his name? Can you call him? Can you please call him? That's it. Can you please call him? I already told you. Yes, we'll call him. What? What did you call him? She didn't have no badge, right? Nothing. No, my back is over there on B9 with my ID and everything. How far are we going? Huh? Down the stairs. Well, what are we going to do? Are you guys going to make me board my plane? I'm going to miss my plane. Where are you guys taking me? Where are these guy taking me? Where's the officer at? Officers question airport security to get a clearer picture of the situation. All right. My name is Deputy Sheriff Chris Keegan 414 County Sheriff's Office working at your own words. Can you tell me what happened today? You're working the Yes, I was working the exit and nobody was allowed to come back the other way and the the a woman came up and she wanted to come through and I said, "Ma'am, you can't come through." I said, "You have to go back to security." She took her uh she goes, "I don't have my license." I said, "Well, you have to call somebody." She goes, "I don't have my phone." I said, "Well, then go use the uh courtesy phone and call them." And at during that time, she started shuffling her feet forward towards me. So, I kind of feel had a feeling she was maybe going to try to run, which she ended up doing. Are you saying run by you or run away from you? No, she run by me. Ran by you? And I actually stepped over to the side to try to slow her down, stop her, and she just ignored it and just went around me and ran over there. Uh, and I yelled, "Re, what time was that?" That was at uh what was it? 216. Dude, I'm not even sure. What's today's date? Uh the 18th August of August. Yes. And she ran. And what did you see what happened after that? Yes. I I called for a breach breach breach on my radio that's got the people that I work with to know what was going on and the officer heard me say it too and he went over and he tried to he said ma'am you have to stop and she didn't want to stop and then he all I cuz I have to really kind of keep my eyes forward but I mean uh I heard him asking her to stop she wouldn't stop and then they ended up he was trying to stop her and they were wrestling around and whatever. Okay. Uh I don't see all that. The only thing that I did hear is he asked her to put her hands behind her back and she was not complaining. That's all that I They also speak with other airport staff as the investigation unfolds. Appreciate your help. Thank you very much. Hey BSO. Okay. All right. Um real quick, my body cam is rolling. So tell us what happened officer. You know it was a breach. Right. So I was standing on lane six chitchatting with one of my officers about something that happened this morning and I hear screaming like you cannot go that way. Stop. Stop. And next thing I know like I just turned and I saw Spears running this way. He took her down, you know, and I just walked over there and to see what was going on. Like what can I help with this TSA cuz they just breached our exit. And he's, you know, scrambling with her, scrambling with her. So his body came on the ground. I picked it up. I said, "I don't think it's on. I don't know how to turn it on." I was like, "Do I need to hit a button?" And he's like, you know, and he's trying to deal with her. There was another male passenger over there and he's like right up on SP. And I said, "Excuse me, sir." I was like, "Please do me a favor." I was like, "Give me that. That's hers. I got it." I was like, "I'm TSA. Back away. We have this." Okay. So, they left. All right. Uh, real quick, do you guys have I know we have camera footage at the exit right there for you guys. Can you access it? Um, we can go over to your room if you want. Um, yeah. For that one, I want to say DOA is probably going to get have a better camera for you. We'll go to the compound. Yeah, cuz ours is going to focus out this way. I unless TR was here and I had access to TR's cameras cuz he's got all DOAs. We're now going to have right there. We have them as well. I just know our sergeant is busy. Um, do you guys have a camera that you access the exit other than the one that's right here, the switch? Yes, cuz that would show us her running in camera. You want to You want to get the camera off? Reviewing surveillance footage, police find undeniable proof. The woman is caught on camera, clearly attempting to escape. You guys are crazy him now. You questioning him now. My flight's about to board. What's going to happen? You're going to miss the flight. Was there anybody else with you? Yes. Just going to the bathroom. The other bathroom was too full. So I went to the other. I didn't know I couldn't come back there. My flight's about to fly out. That's why I wanted to go get my ID. I asked the officers to come with me. Is anybody changing her? Please. Did you come in the exit lane? Yes. That's why you were in the train. Because I need it. You can't do that. I didn't know that. This stuff is too tight. You losing it up a little. Did anybody pay him? Did anybody pay him? What's What's the person's name that you're supposed to be with? Also, just to let you know that Dion is supposed to have her baggage. I think from what I'm gathering is the restroom was too full on the concourse. She left the concourse. She came back to the uh Yeah, I did. It denied all Yeah, I heard from Just give me the red load out. Yep. Right. You believe me? I don't know. That's my blood. It's your blood. Okay. I think she needs explained what what happened to her. As she finally calms down, she starts to realize the severity of the situation. She tries to explain herself, but it's too late. Right now, right now, you're going to be charged with battery on a police officer. Me? I didn't hurt you. Resisting with violence. I got hurt and um going through the sterile area. What do you mean? We ran through the I didn't hurt you. I was trying to get the the other guy to come with me. Then I don't have an ID or anything with me. Well, that's there's different ways to handle that. You can't run through the stairway. You can't just go back through there. It's just common sense. I didn't know that. I didn't know. Everybody knows. Everybody knows that. Everybody know that. How is your boyfriend? Stop wiggling. Stop wiggling your hands around. Okay. Keep your keep your hands in in one place and it won't hurt if you move your hands around. Now, I'm double locking them. Make sure they don't tighten back up on you. Okay. Now, they won't tighten. As long as you hold your hands just like that. Okay. You got plenty of space. In fact, they're almost smaller. They're almost small enough to pull out. Don't pull out of them. I might go to jail today. Yes. But with that said, okay, you'll go to first arraignment tomorrow. You'll probably be let out on bail. And then you go ahead and fight your charges and say, "I didn't know, you know, whatever happened." You explain your side of the story. But the basic side is when you leave something and there's all these kind of signs says do not enter, do not enter, and you have someone saying stop, stop, stop. Again, I wasn't there. It'll all be on video. We have plenty of safety things. I was there. Yeah. And he was there. You can't ignore instructions in an airport from an official. We don't know what you have. We don't know. I don't have anything. No. How do you understand what you're saying? You could bring a bomb through under your shirt. This is a This is a federal building. The officers remain firm, explaining that once she exits the secure area, she must go back through screening like everyone else. She refuses to accept this and continues to make excuses. We don't know what you have under your shirt. We don't know what you have in your in your waistband. Okay. All right. All right. Okay. You'll have a chance to explain that to the to the judge. Yeah. Okay. Other than your watch, do you have anything else on you? A personal earrings. Earrings. They have to come off. Yep. Your earrings will go have to come off and stuff like that. Put gloves on. Okay. I'm watching her, so there's not much I can do until a third person gets here. I didn't I didn't know I one thing I thought is like if I had to go to check out they wouldn't let me in because I don't have nothing with me and I would do this all the time we can call your boyfriend or call I didn't know that. Well, you just don't run. understand now. I just I didn't know. You okay? Yeah. Yeah. I'm just out of breath. Yeah. Okay. Is Dion uh outside here? Dion will be outside shortly. Okay. And what I'm going to do is give her give him her personal stuff right now. Okay. So, as long as everything's okay and the sergeant allows it, we're going to let you sit like this for now. Okay. There's tissue for you. Did you already use it? All right. And the first chance I get, I'll try to get you a little bit of water through the exit. She didn't know. I didn't know. I honestly didn't know. TSA told her to stop you. The officers make it clear that airport security rules are not optional. Running past TSA, ignoring security commands, and resisting officers only leads to one outcome, getting arrested. How did you get down there in the first place? I was I was go I yes I went to TSI but I didn't have nothing with me and I I didn't I didn't I didn't know that the only reason I went there because I was I was going to use that first bathroom but the line was too long and my plane was about to fly out and so I was going to let me just and I didn't know once you pass that you can't turn around and I I there's multiple signs I didn't see them I swear all right the only reason I asked is because you ruined the whole day because you did something you weren't supposed to do. How many times have you flown? Huh? How many times have you flown in your life? A lot. A lot. So, you know, each time that you go down to a concourse, I didn't know that. I really didn't know that. Okay, Grace. Grace. Grace. Grace. Also, the bottom line is the man in uniform said, "Stop, stop, stop." Do you understand what I'm saying? you for whatever come with me to come and get my ID at least so he can see that I I was already there. When someone said when law enforcement says stop, anybody of authority says stop. You have to stop. I'm really sorry. And and basically that's why you're here though. You ref you refuse the lawful command. I'm really sorry. Okay. It's I mean it happened. It's not the end of the world. It just seems like the end of the world now. Okay. It's going to be very traumatic, but hopefully five years from now, you know, you can maybe maybe laugh about this and say, "Wow, did I know that I didn't know that conquer was like a I didn't really I never heard that before." Like the other pl um airport, they don't have that. They don't have cone. They have just gates and stuff like that. Well, how every airport has a check line you go through. It's called the TSA checkpoint. Okay. That's where you go through the non listen listen. You're going from the non-sterile area to the sterile area. That means you've been scanned. You've been checked. You're sterile. You have Despite the officer's explanations, the woman continues to justify her actions and refuses to accept the consequences of her actions. When you go out the exit and now you're in an unsterile place, you just can't go back. Are you following what I'm saying? Yeah. But it's my thing was I didn't have nothing with me. I understand that. But that's when you stop and you explain what happened and then we find someone else, get in communication with Dion, get your information back here and you go through the checkpoint again. You would have no matter what happens, you still have to go back through the checkpoint because you just went to the, you know, the unsterile area. That's why Dion will probably have to get a hotel room for the night. Wait until you get a rain tomorrow. And if you can uh make bail or get released on your own recgniss and get a court date, then you can, you know, but that's, you know, that's something that the court does, not [Applause] us. Had you already gone to the bathroom? Mhm. See, you had disappeared and all of a sudden you appeared again. It can't happen that way. I mean, if you were in the shoot, got halfway there and then turned around said, "Whoa, whoa, whoa. I just forgot something." But here you are, a total stranger zipping on down. Think, you know, now that you calm down, think about what the circumstance. We understand you didn't realize it, but think about what we're thinking. Could be a terrorist attack or anything. We don't know. Could be something as simple as your your distraught wife or girlfriend going to get your husband or boyfriend. All right. Back seat check. It is clean. Right in there. Ma'am, can you put the seat belt on? Please. Y. All right, Grace. So I hope everything works out for you. You don't seem like a bad The reality check comes fast and instead of catching her flight, she ends up in the back of a police car. Just a confused person. And around here the other half. She refuses to cooperate with airline staff, leading to the police being called in to remove her. Here's what happens next. all the way in the back. They're trying to allow her to come off willingly. If she will not, if she's refusing to come off, we'll go deal with her. Okay. Do you guys mind deboarding the entire plane so that we do not have to deal with her with an entire plane of people? Can we ask if you would if she would come off nicely with you first? She doesn't. Yeah. 29 Delta. Excuse me. [Music] Hello. Hi. Um, what's your name? My name's Officer Smith. I'm with Nashville Airport Police. Um, they're saying that they want you off of their aircraft. Why is that? I I don't know. They just said that you were refusing to get off their aircraft after they asked you to get off. Right. They didn't give me a reason why I needed to get off. They told me that they were going to talk to me outside as if they didn't want me to. They didn't inform me why they were going to um Hold on. Let me catch my breath. I'm like I don't understand why there's so many people like on top of me. Have you had anything to drink today? No, I can't I was looking for water. They didn't give me water. They told me that the plane was delayed. I just want water. Okay. So, have you had any alcohol today? No. I'm on a satical. Okay. Okay. So, do you mind stepping off the aircraft and they can talk? My name is Officer Smith. Yes. I'm sorry. You see, I think it's important that people call you by your first name. You can call me by my first name. That's fine. Thank you. Do you mind stepping off the aircraft? We can figure out what's going on. Let me know. I'm going home. So, I need to know why I'm getting off the plane. So, they're a private company. They're allowed to refuse you service on their aircraft. When officers ask her to step out of the plane, she doesn't comply and starts questioning why she has to leave. So, anytime a private company, like a business, yes, they're a business. So, they're allowed to refuse you service like Okay. So, if you do not get off the plane, we are going to deboard the entire plane and we will pull you off of the plane. You're going to pull the I have to set my intention and I have to breathe. Stay calm. Stay calm. So, stay calm. I don't know what's going on. Like I said, they didn't tell me what the problem is. So, if you will get up and just walk off, then we can deal with it. Okay. What is the reason why I'm getting off the plane? They're a private company and they're allowed to deny you service on their airline. Okay. Can I get the reason why they are denying you service? They don't have to have a reason. So, they can just throw me off? Yeah, pretty much. Are you serious? Yep. They're a private company. They're a private company. Any private company can do that? Yep. You breathe. I'm getting like, can I have some water? I I I thought you guys were going to bring me some water. No. Okay. So, wait here for the water. I'll just keep coloring. Ma'am, you need to stand up and get off the plane or every single person's going to get off of this plane and we will deal with you. You're going to deal with me if I don't get off the plane? Yeah. You're going to deal with me? What does that mean? Like, you're going to me? You're going to like deport me? Like, my family is from Portugal. Like, that's not okay. I have no reason. I'm a US citizen and I'm white or maybe I'm black. I don't know. But this is just a tattoo. See, I am human, too. Okay. Mic drop. Okay. I'm going to be the first female. Can we deboard the plane, please? [Applause] Since she refuses to leave willingly, they decide to deboard the entire plane to avoid further disruption. Welcome. I'm not doing this with a plane full of people. Again, I'm your captain here. Obviously, you can tell that we have a master. I'm not doing this with a plane of why it matter, but the only option we have coming before us if we can't get the lady to help us move on hopefully get out. Guys, this is my four This is my fourth rescheduled play. Please don't do this. Get out. [Music] [Applause] You're telling me not to have water? Motel 5 still shows door unlocks. May I resecure it or do you still need it open? [Music] cuz there's no reason. Nobody told me. Hey, starting from the front, start walking off the aircraft. Can you just want to have her sit back down? I want Okay. Uh, we need to get everybody off. Everybody in a fashion. Okay. You got to get off. Go ahead. Go ahead. Just a second here. Hold on. Just go. Just go off and we'll talk. Okay. She claims discrimination and says she's being unfairly targeted. The officers explain the situation, but she refuses to listen. What's your name? Just step off and we'll just talk about it. Okay. Why are we stepping off? Cuz they don't want you on this aircraft. They don't want me on this aircraft. Let's just talk about it. Because I'm white. As soon as we can get everybody backed outside the plane, she still won't cooperate. She resists, making the arrest more difficult than it needs to be. Okay. You wonder 10:15 or what's going on there. Here, come over here. Let's have a conversation. She is off the aircraft here. We'll get you a water. Can I have water? Yeah, they're going to get you a water. So, just come sit down and we'll talk. I think it's easier when we're walking. Can we walk it and stop? No, let's have a sit. Let's have a seat. Okay. Karma, let her stand up. I just want water. Can I stand up? Yeah. I can get up by myself. Stand up. Okay. Close your door. Is that a camera? Yeah, that's cool. Where does it go? I don't understand your question. Like, who watches it? Officers finally restrain her, but she keeps making demands. She repeatedly asks for water, complains about the situation and refuses to acknowledge that her behavior is the reason she's in trouble. The Department of the Y and the TSA of the United States. Not TSA. United TSA. You're the police. Okay. So, we're going to walk downstairs. We're going to go to one of our patrol cars. Okay. I just have to breathe. Can I have water first, please? No. You're not going to give me water? No, ma'am. Not after the scene you just caused. We can have water later. What did I do? You just threw yourself on the ground. I sat down. You did not sit down. You undid your dress. You exposed yourself to everyone in the airport. It's hot. You're going to jail. You're being arrested. Okay. I'm I'm I'm not going to fight you. I promise.
