Obsession, delusion, and zero boundaries. These stalkers took it to a whole new level. Here are five cases of the worst stalkers ever captured on police body cam. Number five, cops confront stubborn ex who refuses to leave his wife alone. Police respond to a call about a man who keeps showing up at his ex-wife's house even though he's been told not to. He's outside playing football with his son, but officers remind him he's not allowed on or near the property. No, do not do this to him. What are you doing? Come talk to me over here. Not in front of them. Be an adult and come over here. I don't trust you. Okay. Okay. You're not supposed to be here. I'm an American. This is my right. I just It's not your day to be here. We're filing another stalking complaint against this location. Okay. And I'm going to tell you who am I stalking? All of them. Who? I'm allowed to see my children. It's not stalking. Your day, folks. Judge, for the record, I'm here to leave. I'm here to see my boys. He's going to baseball. I'm going I'm going to be there. You stopping me. You need to leave here. I'm telling you. You You're way outside your bounds. You are not welcome to be here. You are now stalking this family. No, I'm not. That's my I am telling you that you are stalking them. Take me to jail. You need to leave. I'd rather you just take me to jail. I'm here playing football with my son in this. Today is not your day to be here. This I'm allowed in this street. Tell me the reason I can't be in this street right here. Stalking would be that when you're open notorious stalking covers this is not it doesn't just say blatant outright I'm here. I'm not I'm not hiding it. I'm not stalking you. I'm telling you to leave because you are stalking these people and you're going to end up going to jail. Okay, I'll let you take me to jail and I want this on the record. I want my kids to see this. Hey guys. Dad, you want your kids to see this? No, I do. You do not want I'm here playing with my son, okay? And I'm gonna follow them to baseball and I'm gonna until the minute they leave, I'm gonna stay right here and and then I'm going to baseball and I'll be back at that house on Friday and I'm going be be prepared to go to court for this. Okay? I'm not getting this because you're infringing on my rights as an American. I am not I'm telling you to leave these people alone that you are stalking. You You don't have a right to tell me not to be able to talk my children. Okay. I am telling you to leave file the police report next time. Maybe I'll have a better chance in court. I filed multiples on you. No, you didn't. And I will file more. Do you have children? Are you married? Why does that matter? I'm just curious cuz I Your demeanor leads me to believe you. No, sir. You're a very frustrating human being to deal with is why we keep going over this. It's because I keep telling you to leave this family alone. Leave alone. Leave her parents alone. The man continues to argue. He claims his rights are being violated and that he'll keep coming back every day. On the record, anytime I'm here or at that house when I have not been able to talk to my kids on the phone, you are welcome to tell me and ask. What you do if you cannot reach your children, you call the police and we will make contact with them and make sure they're okay. I'm going to come here. I will come here and call you. I'm going to call I'm going to call the police when I before I arrive. I'm going to tell them and tell us what that you're stalking these people. No, I'm not stalking that. I'm coming to spend time with my children. You're not allowed to today. Has gotten to the point to the point where you've been trespassed from all this property. You've been trespassed from that property. There's obviously JJ, keep close eye on this, buddy. It's obviously reasonable to believe that she doesn't want you here. They don't want you over there. I'm in the street with my son. I haven't talked to her. You guys have the court order in place for a reason. Okay. And she's not she's not she's not. And when a person doesn't abide by the court order, the proper procedure is to go to court and follow up with it with your lawyers. Okay? You showing up. Hi, Rosie. Hey. Random places. Yeah. I'm trying to come see you guys cuz I can't talk to you on your phones. Following your kids around, following your ex around is not the way to handle this. I'm guilty of stalking my children when I can't talk to them. It's not your children, sir. It's my children. Well, I understand that, but that's not who you're stalking. Obviously, you're the mother is the one that doesn't want you here. Correct. I I haven't seen him. How am I stalking somebody I haven't even seen? I can't play my kids. Yeah, but you're at She knows you're here, obviously, or we wouldn't be here. That's the thing. It doesn't care. I'm allowed to. This is America. I can I can sit if I trust this and I can throw the football into that grass where my son is and I will do it and look at I don't want to I respect her. She has not been right. She's always casting judgments. I think she's poor at her job. I'm I'm not going to I'm going to stop in respect for you. Okay? If you want me to leave, I'll leave. I'm going right to the baseball game, but I'll be every day. And when I'm here and you come, if you're back, you can ask me to leave and I may and and I'll leave. But I'm not going to be told I can't come here and say hi to my kids from the street. Sir, I I completely understand. I have children myself. If I was in your position, I would be upset obviously, but this this just isn't the way to handle it. The officers remind him that his visits are not allowed outside his courtappointed time. He argues that standing in the street isn't a crime. You're very you're very in a gray area. You're very close to committing a criminal offense. Um, no, you're guilty until proven guilty. Okay, I'll take this video and I'll and I will take this whole thing in front of the judge and and I already been down this road. I'm not going to I'm not going to be guilty of the crime. What's going on here? What I'm saying is if one foot on this property and you are committing a crime, so I'm saying you're very close. If the queen had ball, she'd be the king. You think I'm stupid enough to step foot on this property, sir? No, I'm not. Okay. I'm I'm actually highly educated, been to college. I'm not a dumb. You know, I deal with losers all the time. That's not me. My son comes out, we play. Do you see that? Yeah. Yeah, I've seen that. Yeah. I never step foot on the property. I know what a property line is. I'm a I'm a general contractor. I set surveys back. I know. Okay. So, but you see what I'm saying, though? If it's gotten to the point where that's even in play, like you're trespass from the whole property that you That's doesn't prevent me the right from standing in the streets, sir. It doesn't. So, it's a gray area, but until a judge tells me or until you guys take me to jail, I'm going to continue to do it so that I can see my kids when I get Well, what's going to happen is she's started official stalking investigations like she told you. It's going to add it every time we deal with you and they're going to call every time you're out here. You know they will. It's going to add to that. It's going to add to that. And then you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to walk in front of a judgment and say, "Your honor, I'm here to see my kids. I'm not stalking anybody." And I and I've got all the videos showing you. And that'll be up to the court systems at that point to decide. You know, as long as you guys respect a civil matter versus a criminal one, that's all I ask of you guys as police. Okay? Just reserve the right to keep civil stuff civil and criminal criminal. Okay? But you understand interfering with somebody, harassing somebody, following somebody. I haven't interfered with nobody. I have not interfered. If you're here to the point she knows you're here, you're trespassing the property. Okay. That's interfering with her well-being. Correct. No, it's not. See, that mean that could be your opinion and that could be Miss Butterfield's opinion. Okay. But it's the judge's opinion matter. It'll be up to the jury to decide whether or not you're interfering with her life. the jury, they're going to really uh officers explained that although he's technically outside the property line, the repeated visits and messages are piling up into a serious legal situation. But listen to me. Following somebody and harassing somebody is a criminal offense. Sir, I'm not harassing. You don't think you're harassing? If I go ask her, is he harassing you? What do you think she's going to think? Go ask her what I hear today. I I'm sure that's what she's doing. And I I heard the people at the last house, they definitely think you're harassing them. who who people her parents listen I respect you man because I I know this is not easy and you deal with all sorts of and this is this is a civil matter okay and I'm I'm I'm ready to go to jail there's a civil aspect to it for sure yeah yeah I'd say so um I'm definitely not stalking I'm open notorious here to see my kids I've got it on record a 100 times so when a judge asks you know are you you're going to you're going to show up and say I'm stalking she's going to show up today and say I'm stalking when I clearly told her I'm not here to see that I'm here to see my kids. Okay, maybe I'm guilty of stalking them. Let's see if they can they can adjudicate me for stalking my children when I can't talk to the phone. But in the meantime, that's going to happen. And I'm sorry. I don't mean to be rude cuz I I'm not that guy. I just want my kids. Just I just want to be a dad. I get it. I just want to be a dad. I want Hey, day. You know, you know, how was school? You know, any problems at school? Did you have a good day? I was tell and I get that. And I wish you two could work that out where we wouldn't have to be involved in this at all. You can't with these type of these are a special breed of people that you know you probably don't you don't know. Yeah. But we are involved obviously now. Uh obviously there's two sides to everything. We're not allowed to take sides. Okay. We have to be impartial to to So just just respect civil and and criminal and that's all I ask cuz I I'll go I I'll sit by the judge and watch this. Okay. With these videos. Meanwhile, officers speak with his ex-wife who shares that he's been showing up almost daily since early January. Lot, okay? Often at their request, I will say that, okay, because they don't see him otherwise. He's refusing to I don't know if he told you his whole story, but he's refusing to take his legal time with them until I sign his petition, which is the outrageous one similar to the last one. Okay. It's the same thing. And he gives it to the kids and he gives it and they give it to me. They give to you. So, and at their request, he comes to see them because they miss him. You can see they they miss him. And I I have a hard time keeping them apart from him when they have a relationship and love him. I feel like that's harsh and unfair. Okay. But these daily visits are awful. So he's come here every day for he was out of town for a week. Okay. So he didn't come that week. But otherwise he comes nearly daily. It's not consistent, but it's almost daily. Since when? Do you remember how long that's been going on? January 3rd. Okay. Since January. I remember this one a couple times. Okay. Related to like late baseball things. Uh sorry, basketball things, like sports things. So, we've had him over the night a couple times. Okay. He has texted me over and over and over again. I will be every day at your parents house. I will be here every night. I will make sure that everyone knows that you are not letting me see like you know that kind. He's just and he sits out there like he's doing now or does he come up closer ever? He doesn't come up closer. Okay. I let like I said, I do let the kids out and I don't care if they play football. But I just feel like this is not this is not a relationship you want to foster with your kids. There's more to life. There's more to a dad than this. So, absolutely. Um, what is the times in the evenings he's allowed to for the courts talk to them on the phone? 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Okay. Now, and that's another thing that he's always upset about because often from 3 to 5ish, they're at my parents house. So, to make up for that, I allow the kids to talk to him on the phone all the way up until 8 9:00 p.m. I do not, right? I don't know what it says timewise. It just says between those hours. My frustration with it is that I read it as the kids are allowed to call him during that time whenever they feel like it. He reads it as he's allowed unfettered access during that time every single day no matter what. Yeah. Do you want to press charges? Can we talk about it without small ears? Absolutely. I want to know all the repercussions of what that means. Yes. Yes. For sure. For sure. She admits she no longer feels safe and fears these uninvited visits are turning into an uncontrollable pattern. While she doesn't want to keep the kids from their father, she also wants peace and stability at home. I need to know what that entails and what that means because I would like to have peace in our evenings here. Right. Um I think the kids should be able to see their dad. I don't want to see that taken away from them. But you don't want it to interfere with your I don't want it to happen here. There's no reason for it to happen here. He has legal time he's supposed to take with him. Right. So my supervisor is coming out just because we told him to not be here, to not be there, and he's like, "Well, I'm coming back every day." And I'm like, "No." And and he's he's he's proud of that. Um I know he's trespassing from here. I would be going nuts if I weren't seeing my kids. I get that. I would be I would be devastated for the kids not to see me. He hasn't taken his time either. That's the issue that I can't understand. So he wants his time when it's your time. And normally when you want a modification of your parenting stuff, you have it written up and then if you don't go to it, you take it to court. Court, right? Yeah. Um I think he knows that court would never I don't know why. Yeah. I don't know why. So we keep or you guys keep unless you guys keep going with these injunctions and they don't come through. Yeah. Do we want to step inside or do you want to come out this way further? Well, I mean I do they want to get in the van. Do you guys want to you want to go play with daddy while he's here? Yeah. You know, my fear is always that he's going to drive off with him, right? Yeah. And um he at Rosy's request, he had them for her birthday evening. Mhm. And um she wanted to come home and he wasn't going to let her. You know, it's just always traumatizing, dramatic. Yeah. Oh, yes. The truth is I would love to press kind of charges. Okay. I just don't want my kids to hear that. Right. Absolutely. And that's what I assume. Um, my super, like I said, my supervisor is coming out cuz he works right in the gray. Okay. Stalking is something where we're here for now and we can arrest him right now. I will also admit that this part I have I don't want him to know and soon enough I won't be able to hide it. But your parents told me about that. It frightens me the Now 6 months pregnant, she becomes visibly emotional as she describes the toll it's taking and reveals disturbing behavior from her ex-husband. You don't remember, but I remember you were there for my old I was at the restaurant. I've been here chasing us around town and at that point I had told the I remember I had to like follow you home, but Yes. And I had told the intended parents back then, I can't do this for you under these circumstances and then he backed off mental health or something kind of. Okay. Well, I don't know. They had he got married and I think the wife convinced him to just try to take the kids. Yeah. Is it the same girl from the restaurant? Okay. Yeah. And uh things will calm in the fall. Yeah. Like not great, but way better, right? It seems like he's coming back up now. It's almost I think he showed up at their house like a week ago. Yes. He's been there a couple times. Okay. Um he's he just texts the most manic things. He's Do you have those text messages still? Yes. If you want to screenshot as many of them as you can. It goes on and on and on. Oh yeah. Yeah. It goes on for a long time. And this is him always writing to or pretending to be his wife. And that's what he's pretending to be is Christine or whatever her name is. He always he often signs off. Love always Christine. [Music] Um yeah, Jason will be having very long plays in the street at the hostage camp every single day. That's over there. Okay. Um he will be keeping extra close tabs on the kids now. Yeah. Um he's panicking that they're with his relatives that are from Indiana who were there that night at the restaurant. Yes, I I remember them. Yep. I remember. Yes. They're nowhere in town. They're living their life in Indiana. It's one of these. That's his sister, isn't it? His sister and Yeah. And his mother. He doesn't. Do you mind taking the screenshots or if you have the screen record function, I'll send you a link. I have the screen record function. Let me go talk to them real quick. Do you want to bring the kids back inside cuz he's going to kind of ask him one question if he doesn't leave and rest. Hey guys, can you come back inside for a second? The situation comes to a head when he refuses to leave, forcing officers to step in and take action. I got her. Yeah. Hey, my name is Sergeant Cameron. How are you? Good. Good. Have you been requested to leave this area by my officers? Just going inside. Hey guys, we've been requested. Yes. Did they ask you to What? What area? Right here where we're standing right now. One second. One second. One second. I'm just reaching my phone. Okay. I got to document this because I think you were one of the guys that was there for the um Okay. Put your hands behind your back. Guys, look. JJ, stop resisting. Take my phone. JJ. JJ, get my phone. Stop. JJ, look at this. JJ, look at this. Look at this. You guys are going to beat me up. Okay, look. As long as I'm letting go. I'm done. Guys, look at this. Guys, look at this. Video this. Cammy, get all video. It's all on video. Get a video. Get it. All right, guys. Look. I love you. Have fun at baseball. Yeah, I know. JJ, look. Turn up. Come over here. Come over here. Hey guys, this is this is what you love to do. Come over here. [Music] Nope. Guys, you know what? You know, I don't think we're nine more 15. Glad you from that show my children. You did that all yourself, boss. Thank you. I don't have children. As he's taken into custody, he doesn't hold back, trashtalking the officers and claiming he's the victim. Officer Butterfield, you really serve the community well tonight. Just remember, it's all on video recording. Well, so what? So what? You know what? I I I love to share with the judge that I think you are a horrible police officer. Bitter woman at that. Always have an attitude. Didn't even fill out police reports. You know, you're probably bitter that you're a police officer. I don't know. You probably don't like men is what I what I'm guessing. You had no right to arrest me right there. You know what? This is going to get kicked out by the judge. And you and you put my kids through that for what? You know what? I got I got it all on video. It's This doesn't hold up in court. [Music] You never asked me to leave. You were just trying to lecture me about my rights. You didn't tell me to leave. I got the whole thing on video. It's not easy. But let me guess, you filled out your police report well this time, right? with your high school degree. A lot of people don't like cops. People like you guys. One one officer there had respect and that was not you. No crime committed. You're taking an innocent man to jail tonight instead of going to his son's baseball game. I don't know how people like you sleep at night. Know my ex-wife is a lesbian, right? Did she tell you that? trying to pick my son up and she wouldn't turn him over and you trespassed me. You're a horrible police officer. Horrible. So now I get to spend the night there. That's phenomenal. You want to tell me what you charged me with? Stalking resisting arrest. Oh, I resisted arrest. Yes, you did. You're a joke. you know, like really, you know, I'm there to see my kids and I resisted arrest. Rather than go quietly, he continues protesting and arguing his case until the very end. Good. Well, look, you know, you know, I got plenty of money. You know, you see more money in my wallet than you make in a month. So, you know what? We'll get a lawyer to get the videos. We We'll do the dance. And you know what? Fine. I'll pay. But you know what? You're That's a joke. Resisting arrest. I I went to pull my phone out to video you clowns and and and that was res No, come on. We'll get a jury trial. We'll get a jury and we'll put you guys to the test. Okay. Not a criminal stalking. Who was I stalking today? Let's talk about it in the car. Who was I stalking, ma'am? I've already told you multiple times. No, tell me again. I I'll check the video because I got 10 minutes worth. Who was I stalking tonight? My children, their grandparents, the mother. Please tell me cuz we're we're going to get you in the court. You know, you know it's going to happen. You know, I do sympathize what you have to do to earn a dollar. I do. That was uncalled for. Could have just asked me to leave. Okay. And I would have seen you the next time that she denied me access to my kids. It could have been so easy. Oh, big tough cop. Let's arrest this guy in front of his kids. You know what? Go deal with a real criminal. Have you done Have you ever fought real crime? Wife beat her. You do anything real. You just do this kind of petty. Tyrone area 33710. I guess they don't have you down on the southside dealing with real crime crime. Taylor Swift. You know my lawyer said he read those reports, the ones you did write, he said she don't like you. He said, "Look, you know, she's a woman who don't like a man. That that leads me to believe one thing. But I'll keep that to myself." Number four, man stopped after taking questionable photos of minors in public. A man is approached by mall security and local police after being reported for suspicious behavior. He's been seen taking pictures of women in the mall without their consent. Here's how he reacts when officers confront him. We need to talk to you boss. You want to come over here? All right. So, we're getting a call. You recording people, huh? You're recording? I've been recording like that for my Facebook and stuff like that. You might see what you recorded. Let's see. I see it. Go to your recent uh see the last three videos. All right. So, we're asking you to delete those pictures. Sure. No problem. Yeah. So, Oh, no problem. The only thing is that the store that you were at ran up. Mhm. Uh the young lady felt uncomfortable and she was just asking if you Oh, no. That won't happen no more. No problem. Then before we head out, just go I'm going to have you go to your recently deleted and delete those also. Okay. Okay. No problem. [Applause] Why are you recording in this mall? The same way other people do. So it looked like you were taking pictures of a bunch of girls from behind. I send the guys. That's what I said. Most of those girls were probably on their age. No. You know how I know? How? Cuz I saw the uniform, the school uniform. No, they school uniform either. They was. They're taking pictures of females behinds, females fronts. We're going to have somebody else come talk to you. I had them delete the pictures. You already deleted them. I got this. Now we don't have pictures. Okay. Everybody else. Hello. Good. All right. You obviously realize why we're here. Okay. I realize the pictures have already been deleted. However, the complaintant, the victim is still looking to sign complaints against you. Okay. So, do you have any form of identification? Okay. May I have that, please? He doesn't argue, but sticks to the excuse that he didn't know it was wrong. So, right now, you're being detained for a crime. Okay. Crime. Taking pictures. Not allow. You're taking pictures of someone's rear end of someone's pelvis area. Okay. The other officer saw the pictures. Yeah, but I'm saying I took pictures of everybody though. Like I can take pictures of everybody. Like anybody takes pictures of me. You can take pictures of females that when they're caught and you're taking a picture of their rear ends. No, I would for my friends in prison. I don't They want to see how the world the way they dress now is what I was showing them. How women are here dressed half. If you see my pictures, ain't none of them like Muslims dressed completely. But do you not understand that? That doesn't It's not for me, miss. It's But it's on your phone. Either way, it's on your phone. You're in possession of those pictures. Do you understand? You know what I'm saying? But they're just pictures. Do you understand what I'm saying, though? You don't have permission to take a picture of someone's rear end. You don't have that permission. Period. You don't. That person is not giving you permission to take pictures of them. Okay? That happens to me all the time. Nobody asked me for permission. That's great because nobody maybe has seen you. No, I'm saying they recorded me and they don't ask me for permission. Okay. This person does not agree to it. Period. Okay. That's where we're at with this. Being that the email is closed, this is going to be a disorderly conduct. Okay. It's a sight and release. So, basically, I'm going to issue a citation. You're going to have a mandatory court date. Let's go. Let's go. Huh? Just call me. Okay. You're not on You're in my time. Okay. So, I You don't need to tell me. No, I was just saying. But I'm just saying hang out. Hey, what was your name? My legs. You don't do that. But you just told me you sent pictures of that of women. I don't care. As a woman, I don't appreciate that. Do you understand what I'm saying? The officer isn't buying it. And delivers a firm reminder about personal accountability. You don't have my permission to take a picture of my rear end or of the front of me. Do you understand? I don't give you that permission. And neither does she. That's where I'm at with this. So, you should be at the moment grateful that this is a sight in release and I am not taking you into the police station. I'm not being whether you are or aren't, I'm telling you. Yes, I just said that. Okay. You know, I But you think it's not a big deal and I'm telling you it's a big deal. So, if I may suggest going forward, you ask a female, may I take a picture of your rear end? I'm going to be honest. If you get a yes, that's that's a problem. I don't need to see. I'm just telling you, you get permission from somebody. You don't take pictures like that. You're going to end up and find yourself in a lot harder position than where you are today. So, I suggest you put this on the back burner. You don't get hired for this position anymore. You'll be the one in jail with your friends if you keep that up. Oh, you talking about taking Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I understand. He's not going to trigger me as a female. I don't give permission to somebody. No. Listen. I'm going to ask you to take a seat cuz you're you're interfering with you're interfering with my call right now. I'm asking you to step away. Take your name out. That's it. Take your name. You'll have my name. That's what I'm saying. I'm saying if he's bothered. It didn't bother me that you got me. It bothered him. I'm trying to tell you. I said I don't got no problem with you. I understand. I'm saying I don't have a problem with you. And now I know where I have a problem with this. That's what I did. And that's what I tell you. Now I know, man. Now I know this. Now I know. Now eventually they issue him a citation for disorderly conduct and let him know he'll have to appear in court. What's going to happen, Mr. Chavez? Yes. Okay. Was going to be banned from the barely Millers. Millers. Well, thanks for telling me. No. I It's not property. I didn't know it. So what does it end? Yeah. So return them off property and you can be in criminal trespass. Okay. I need you to sign this acknowledging that I spoke to you about being trespassed. Okay. But you're right, miss. I need to stop caring about all my friends that I made in prison. Why? How are you sending those pictures? Are you printing them out and handing them out? All greens. All right. That's why I sent you up there. That's why I sent you up there. So when you verify the name, I asked her again. What's your name? Raquel Ray. Again, as I'm writing it down. False name. Okay. Yeah. Okay. 10fold. Cuz now I don't have no patience with you. Now you want to play the oh I was scared when I didn't pose as a threat at any point. I asked you what's your name and you parked in front of abandoned house. She's telling me her cousin live over here a female but we all know don't no females live in this house right here. That's the two the two gay men that live right here that always they always calling us over here. There's two gay men that live right here. She's then taken to the county detention center for processing. Ma'am, when I see your judges you'll see a judge tomorrow morning. Well 8:00 cuz it's 1:00. So, you'll see one in the morning. Ma'am, I'm just I'm so sorry, though. I understand. But this is what we going to have to do for tonight. Okay. But I I don't know. I don't have no family out here. Okay. You'll be able to make phone calls and stuff when you get there. Okay. I don't know. And I have your phone. I have your phone with you. Um the officers at the jail may let you get phone phone numbers out your phone. Okay. Ma'am, I you I don't have any wars against me or nothing. That's That's understandable. I I know that now. But you provided me a false name twice. Ma'am, I'm just I was scared. That's understandable. But scared or not, ma'am, you can't break the law just cuz you're scared and you're a law enforcement officer, so you should know better. Ma'am, I was scared. So, that's kind of where my patience run short with you because we all have a legal oath. Yes, ma'am. So, we're held up to a higher standard. But I'm sorry. I was scared. That's understandable. I was scared. So, we're going to be going to CCDC tonight. Okay. What's that, honey? Sham County Detention Center. Detention. That's like a um the jail. It's like a what? A holding cell or something? I don't know. They'll figure out where they're going to put you in. Is this going to be on my record or something? Um, maybe after you go to court for it. I'm not even going to have a job. All right. The woman was ultimately arrested for stalking, harassment, and disorderly conduct. Number one, creepy doesn't even begin to describe this stalker. Deputies respond to a call from a concerned mother whose daughter is being stalked by a man who's just driven 25 hours from New Jersey to Florida. Here's what happens next. I'm going to run him from where did you take to drove down for good? That's a drive, bro. Like 25 hours. Um, why are you going in 2 hours? I was apparently gaslighting myself. gas. So you you were you like invited here? I'm trying to understand. I don't understand what you mean. Gaslighting yourself into what? I had thought that there was I had believed in certain things and uh it I thought that this woman this girl was into me and she was about a girl who came to Florida for a girl. Okay. And I thought that I was getting signs that so come out, we come down. Okay. So, you were you listened to intuition from the universe? I was hearing signs for years. I had thought that I found a playlist from her about me. because he's a poem and I wrote about her. In his distorted view of things, he truly believes he's being guided by intuition and signs from the universe. Okay. Do you know this person in New Jersey? Like is this somebody else from New Jersey? Yes. Okay. How do you know like how long have you known them? Um I knew them from uh June. Since June. How did you meet? at the gym. At the gym? Yeah. And how tell me about that. Like you were at the gym and you just I mean what how did that conversation work? Um I I can be yourself. So you said that you met this person at the gym. How so? Like were you guys you guys just happened to work out at the same gym and then did you She worked there and I asked her for her Instagram. Okay. So she was working at this gym. You were just you go work out at this gym? Yes. Okay. So then you asked her for her Instagram and then what did she say then? Um originally I wanted to invite her to my birthday and it didn't end up happening. What do you mean it didn't end up happening? Like, did you did you invite her? Did you ask her? Um, I invited her until I found out that she was not old enough to go to a bar. And then I had sent her the message on Instagram, I'm still going to hang with you. And I mean, how if when was this? If you'd like, I can pull up all As the interaction goes on, it becomes painfully clear that he's completely disconnected from reality. When did you guys meet? Uh the 15th of June. 15th of June. Did you guys carry on a relationship at all or? No. There was nothing physical or anything? Nothing physical. Did you guys ever hang out or talk in person ever? being an interest and and originally I was on second and talked to but didn't end up she never invited you. And you you say you found a playlist that told me what is the what is basically um all right so the the quick synopsis is uh the RP is the mother of the 19year-old her daughter is 19 uh anyway her 19-year-old daughter worked at a gym where he was a member of and that's how they knew each other um only speaking to the mother I haven't uh I haven't confirmed this with a 19-year-old. But speaking with the mother, um the there was no relationship. It was just, you know, business. He's sick and he needs help. He's telling me he got mixed signals. I said, "From who?" And he said, "From my intuition." So, how did you know she was in Florida? I was up her stories on Instagram. Yeah. And when did you see that she was in Florida? Three days ago. You saw she was in Florida 3 days ago. And when did you get here? So you was she like tagged her location or whatever? Huh? No. I whenever I posted a story, she would post a story like a minute after that. Okay. So, it's kissed by the universe just being silent. Even after being blocked, he continues monitoring her online activity using anonymous tools and public platforms. A lot of synchronicity that hires thinking that there's a sign from the universe. So, you just should get you also getting likes about what I was posting from her or from other people. From bots, from spy bots basically. And so I had thought that it might have occurred influencing them, right? So you just decided to get in, right? I don't want to I don't know if he asked you this already, but are you guys friends on social media? We were. You were. And now you're not. Did she block you or did you block her? When was that? Um, a while ago. How did you see your stories? Um, seven. Same way that it felt to me like she was watching my stories. So you So you have like fake accounts. You your friends were uh anonymous. She had made her she had switched her account from private to public. Okay. So, you're you're still using your own account. It's not like you went through the process of creating another account under your name. I uh I would open up. I would open up I would you open up social media. Is that uh there's a lot of online websites that you can easily watch other people's stories without an account. Oh, okay. That I never heard. I've never heard. Officers coordinate with a woman's mother explaining the next steps in the case. Want to do is the court order if uh if we can get that and we're going to check and I'll just wait for your your daughter to come here with her information. Uh but we'll check both of you's information. Make sure that there's a a court order on file. will check with uh his information in the system to see if there's a court order on file there. My fear is if it just happened last Friday, it may not be in the system. Uh it should be. It was Monday the um I'm not sure of the date. We went in on Saturday, the day after. It's not like there's a time limit where it has to where it doesn't get, you know, nationwide for a certain 19th that he we we went into the police department 17th. Here's her license. Is your your daughter getting her license? Yeah, I'm going to I would feel a little bit more comfortable if we were out of eyesight of him. Yeah, we were over there. If I showed you some of the messages you sent to my daughter, you'd have him at the psych word right now. Like, come over here. I'd like to see the the stalking p paperwork. Okay. They told me the police department told me I reached out to them. We went there on Monday. Um, we went there on the 17th, which was a Saturday, and then Monday the 19th, they said they brought him in for fingerprinting and took all the information down, everything. And they were charging him with cyber harassment, cyberstalking. So, they arrested him. Yes. And and harassment and against her. And then against me, they charged with cyber stalking and cyber harassment. And they said, "It's that guy right there. It's that guy right there. He came I went to the bathroom and my daughter said came in screaming. I'm like, "What happened?" And she said, "Will's here?" At the same time, another officer questions the man further, trying to understand the full scope of the stalking. Ever carry on any type of messaging relationship where you guys were talking back and forth? No. No. So, you just met her at the gym one day. She worked at the gym that you went to. You met her. You asked her for your in for her Instagram and you just developed this relationship in your mind. Not really. There was never one in real life basically. and you wanted to invite her to your birthday, but you never did or you didn't. When I was at the gym, they probably was my true. Okay. So, you just like she was being nice to you. She was she was a nice person. She was attractive was what you're saying. You were attracted to her. You felt there was something in between you two. Let me just ask you a few quick questions and and the other officer is going to talk to you as well, but your mom was telling us, but I want to be able to also hear from you. Um your what's your relationship with him? no relationship. I worked at a gym in New Jersey and he went to the gym and the only really conversations we would have like a paid membership. The only conversations we would have is, "Hello, have a good workout." I blocked him on like Instagram. He found like my other social medias, started messaging me really weird things, telling me for um my sorority that I'm in, we have an Alzheimer's philanthropy and we had a walk going on, arrested and fingerprinted. Yes. and he was saying that he was going to come to my school to participate in the walk. He has like reached out to my friend at school to ask him a good place to stay where my school is at so he could go to the walk. He like messages her. He He was posting pictures of us. Yeah. Posting pictures of me saying I was his muse. Never had any relationship with him. I just saw him at the gym. I thought you guys didn't really have like conversation. It was through conversations, through messages, like through pictures, images, art. Okay. So, like her stories, your stories, but you guys never actually communicated anything. Nothing verbal. Nothing verbal. Just like you're just thinking in your mind that maybe I don't know, but you guys were posting similar things at the time. Despite having no actual communication with a victim, he claims their social media posts are meant for him. For example, I would call myself a void or zero and she made a post of like because I whistle a lot and I talk and like I like showing pictures of birds and whatnot. I saw a post of a birdhouse mile zero Key West and a musty wiener like purple. Like it started getting weirder and weirder and like confessing his love for me and then I would block him on one account, he would find the other one. I would block him on that. He would find like my friends. They filed a So you're using some back channel website to look at her Instagram and you see a story that she's in Key West. Well, I knew that they were going to be going to Key West for a long time. Were they moving here or? No, they were vacation. How did you know that they were coming on vacation? Um, location. Her mom posts stories on Facebook. So, you're friends with her mom also on Facebook? So, how she keeps her she made the stories public. Okay. So you're also not only are you she is aware of our of I've messaged her mom in Facebook but nothing ever really like crazy that she is well aware of my account. Your mom her mom knows who you are. You guys you guys talk she's messaged you back. She's talked to you. No, we've just kept it to like story watching or Okay, so you just watch each other's stories. I Well, you're not friends on Facebook. I can't say that. I know for sure that she watched my stories, but she's watched hers. Her mom. How do you know her mom? Does her mom go to the same gym or how do Okay, so that's how you know her mom, too. Police also note that he's been closely monitoring both her and her mother's online activity, using what he finds to appear uninvited at their locations. Everything in our power within the within the law to do we can to make sure that he gets held accountable for this if we can. So So basically when it boils down to it, you knew they were coming to us for a couple weeks now at least. You've been basically following her stories on Instagram. And you saw that she posted a birdhouse in Key West and a musty we so you and Mile Z. So that's Key West. It's pretty famous. Milo is a cat. Milo or mile? It says mile zero. So if you wrap it all together, you could think of it as Milo. Okay. And Milo is a cat that I that I nicknamed Martian. Okay. And so it felt to me like that was a call out to me. Okay. So, and then you sitting at home up in Jersey, it's cold. You just decided to jump in your car that is around the corner and you drove 25 hours to Key West. In the state of Florida, and that's where we're at. That's the rules that we have to go by. It defines stalking as uh a repeated thing multiple times. And although I'm sure there has been multiple repeated things back in New Jersey, I'm not sure that legally we can use any of those things in conjunction with this one thing. Mhm. Um, again, mine's not the final say or the interpretation of the law. Uh, the sergeants on scene who used to be a major crimes detective, so she'll be able to interpret that and see what we can do. I hope we can, but I think that the way the law is worded might work against us. And I had sent out a message saying like I wanted to be by your side. Do you message her or you like sent it out? On Twitter. Okay. And because Twitter was the last location when her Yeah. Yeah. So I got you. Makes sense. Now that's a whole new level of delusion. Wouldn't you agree? I'm thinking, you know, like I got you. if I'm going to be playing with the meta, I would play with the meta. And so it felt to me like she was playing with the meta as well. And so I had took that picture of me and the sun and like moments after she'd post a picture of the sun like a sunrise and saying good morning. Feel a little bit better. Hi. Well, really scary. I completely understand. Absolutely. And I really I thought it was going to be over. Mom had posted a location yesterday and so I was at that location and Charlie won. Yeah. I mean it's just like a jurisdiction thing. I mean, that's the only thing. I mean, we're just going to have to confirm with sorry. Oh, yeah. That's what she's she's waiting on cuz I told I asked her. They do have an injunction that she filed. It's not confirmed whether it's signing approved by the judge yet, but she did turn in the documents. And then he he sent her a picture. He had her p her face on his uh phone screen saber and sent her a picture. Yeah. Oh boy. Some crazy movie show. This is my crazy movie show. Yeah. So they start looking it up and and let us know what's up. I'm ready. I mean, honestly, let go. What were you charging it? But that that's the thing is it's too it's a repeated behavior. I mean, it you have to talk to Deb. You probably have to talk to the state attorney to see if you can use something that they're alleging happened in New Jersey, especially if there's some documentation on it. You know what I mean? It's just kind of Yeah, we'll see. Moments later, officers reach a decision and update the victim's mother on the outcome. Okay, we're taking him to jail. Okay. And then after I just got off the phone with our um assistant state attorney, she's on the same page as me that if just based upon his statement along the fact that he's here, we're going to go ahead and we're going to take him for stalking and then we're going to dig and see if we can get him for some type of violation. And that's when I'll I'll call um your chief of police up there. Okay. Okay. I do not feel comfortable, which is why I called her. I can't say that he's not going to follow you. Like, I have chill bumps just thinking about it. Like, this as a female is scary. Yeah. Go ahead. Stand up for me. You can face me. All right. See, I'm going to drop this. Leave that right there. Okay. Am I under arrest? Yes, you are. Yeah, you can. I'm taking off your watch and I'm gonna remember when we have conversations about reasonable people and make people uncomfortable, right? Just did you did you honestly do you think there was anything wrong with you? I think that I'm harmless. I know I'm harmless. Do you think that perception people think you they perceive you as harmless? That's unfortunate cuz I mean like I'll be honest with you, if you followed me 22 hours, I wouldn't If you if you drove across the eastern seabboard, I would not think you like you literally almost can't get higher than New Jersey. There's maybe what three states higher than New Jersey and you drove all the way you got about 40 miles to the end of the road. That means you drove the entire eastern seabboard of the United States to come see a girl that blocked you six months ago. Is this all you have? Uh or do you have other property somewhere in the beach? In the car. in the car. They clarify that this isn't a one-time misunderstanding. It's a clear pattern of behavior. The man seems confused about the arrest, but ultimately cooperates. What are we What are we going to do with that? Yeah, probably can steal it. I mean, I can just I can leave. You could leave. Where are you going to go? Back home. Jersey. Jersey? Yeah. You just think it's okay now. We can just let you get back in the car and go home. I mean, I don't know if it's okay. So, you already got Yeah, but no, no, you already got So, just so I may understand, you knew right from wrong because you got in the car, you drove to a police station where they told you you were under arrest for cyber harassment, but you still decided to drive 22 hours to a fourth street and you want us to let you go now? Man, we kind of passed that point. Is your car far from here? Yes, it's Yeah, you saw it. Okay. I could tell the city about it in front of their fresh. Do you have anything on in here? My car's right there. If you want to put them in my car real quick. I'll be right there. Take your glasses off. Just wait with this cell phone. You already told them that you have one? Yeah. What is this? Water. That should be open. He's pregnant. He was ultimately charged with two counts of aggravated stalking. They crossed the line and now they're facing the consequences they never saw coming. Which case shocked you the most? Drop it in the comments.
