And so like while I'm at the register, like I said, I thought I was tripping in the back like, you feel me? I'm thinking he's taking a picture of something else. Feel me? Doing manager [ __ ] Sure. He's taking pictures of me. Yeah. Petty [ __ ] Like what are you what are you doing? Right. Right. Right. What are you doing? So then the fight happened out here. What happened? Yeah. No. You don't have anything like that? No. No driving a wall? Nothing? No. What's your social? I mean, it's in I'm not going to give you my social, but it's in my car. Like not on me. You go. Where's your license at? In my car. Let's go get it. Is this his car? No, it's not. No. Okay. So, you really have to write this right now. Okay. Do you not want to? Well, I don't know. I'm shaking, man. Okay. What would you like to do? You don't do verbal. We're talking right now. No, I know. Like you can't document it based off of like me. Uh Sure. If you don't want to take it, you don't have to. No, I can't. I can't, man. I just don't It's a lot to write. I always hate doing statements. Okay. How about I'll give you a statement. You can fill it out and turn it in later. How does that work? I give you a piece of paper. You fill out your statement when you feel ready since you don't feel ready right now. And then you can drop them off to your own convenience. I guess that works. That work? Yeah. I can try right now, too, man. Well, it's up to you. I'm not trying to force you to do anything you don't want to. I'd rather do it when it's fresh on my mind. That's usually better. That's why I have you doing it. All right, bring it on. I got you. You sure? Yes. Okay. I'm not trying to force you to do it. No, I don't. I just All right. I don't want this to play out like this. So nice. So just so so I get it right. You're you're taking pictures of him off the clock. He's on the clock. So you can show that he's not doing what he's supposed to be doing. No. Incorrect. I just was leaving work. Took the pictures. Clocked out. Was leaving. He was still doing something wrong. So, one of them I took off the clock. Yes, one of them took off. But two of the pictures I was on the clock. Okay. It was just the last impression on the story. He's still not doing what he's supposed to do. Okay. All right. So, then then he puts up in your face. He pushes you and stuff. Starts to come at you aggressive manner. You throw a punch at him. I did throw a punch. Did it land? It did land. It hit him like in the chest neck area. But like I said, there was no way for me to avoid the situation without him. He wouldn't break the distance whether I went into the store or I was trying to leave in my car. Okay. Did he throw punches at you at any time? It was the shove that initiated it. Okay. And then I definitely threw a punch cuz I would never throw a punch without getting a shove first. Okay. But did he did a after you punch him, did you punch you back? Yeah, it was like a full out brawl. He just wanted to non-stop keep going. Okay. Okay. Anything different else happened after that? Not really. These two, my co-workers were trying to split us up and it just wouldn't break apart. You know, I was more than willing to just see you later. You know, we're done here for the day. And it just was never going to break away. Okay. I didn't know how to get away from the situation, dude. That's I'm not I'm not I'm just asking questions cuz I wasn't here, right? That's that's why I'm just I want to make sure that I have all the facts, right? And like you said, while it's fresh in your mind, I'm trying trying to have you kind of relive it. I know it's super fresh and it's right there. But I wasn't here. I just got here and by the time I got here, you guys were already separated. So, I just want to know all the facts. Um, do you have your ID on you by chance? Yeah, I do, man. Okay. You okay? Yeah. Uh, so we were standing outside of AR finishing a cigarette before we were to walk in and as we're standing there, like a barrel rolled out of the entrance. Um, I'm not quite sure who was on talk to at that point, but uh, it escalated right in front of the grocery store and she yelled and scream to get them to stop. Uh, maybe like 30 seconds. They and then once they came around the corner, I was I didn't have any like I don't know. Did you hear anybody say anything about a gun? I didn't hear anything about a gun. I just saw physical violence. I didn't hear. Would you would you uh be able to give us a written statement on what you saw and what you heard? Yeah. Okay, let me grab this phone. Right back. I'm just on this switch real quick. Go with me. Watch your back, dude. I got him. I'm not lying to you. There's nothing. This kind of like hurts my We're going to be out. Well, the problem is you turned your wrist. Yeah. If you left them the way they were, you wouldn't be hurt right now. I didn't say you were. I'm just saying people left them the way you I had them. I didn't move at all. I didn't I I can't move them if I could tell. There's a there's a cutout in the back of this to help rest your hands. Uh try to slide them more back behind. Do you feel What I'm saying is I didn't move them. Okay. Well, we're going to station. I'll get them off in 2 minutes for sure. Y back with you. Okay. Sounds good. Sorry about that. It's all good. It's all good. I got it. Figure everything out. All right. Talk to you later. Bye. Bye. Okay. 409. You guys are probably not allowed to tell me this, but with Garyen, do you guys know if he's allowed back in the building or anything since he he was involved or so? Cuz he's still clocked in. So, I don't know like if can you do you know how to clock him out? Yeah. And all that stuff. I just want to know cuz my boss said um just make sure he clocks out. But if he's not allowed on the premises and I can most definitely find another way. I'm sorry. I was I didn't mean to interrupt you. Um he he's a manager. Are you a manager as well? Ryan is Darren is not. He's a sales associate. Okay. Yeah. Um we're we're going to have you probably um I'm sorry. Ryan, uh Frank could probably clock mounts up, right? Okay. I'd imagine. And then it would probably be up to like, you know, you, Ryan, um, whoever runs like your manager staff, uh, whether you want him to come back or not. I would assume he's fired and not able to come back. Yeah. Um, I actually believe that Ryan told me that that he was fired. Um, as part of his statement, I'm not sure if he's allowed if he has the ability to do that kind of stuff. Um, it's not really any of my business, but um, but yeah, I would I would assume probably not. Okay. And if he does come back in, uh, probably not have Ryan be the one that that speaks with him, maybe a higher up manager or something. If anybody feels uncomfortable, you can feel free to call us. We can always come by, stay by, cuz sometimes people have to pick up like last checks and stuff like that. Yeah. Right. Um, if once they get fired, like if you guys don't feel comfortable with him coming back in, then do that. Um, if Ryan's a manager for Dave, but you have a really good relationship with Darren and he's like, you don't he doesn't mind picking up like the last check from you. Um, that's fine. Or, you know, does he work for you? Yeah. Okay. Um, yeah. If like one of you guys or something are there, whatever you feel comfortable with, but we're always a resource. You can always call us if you don't feel comfortable and then, you know, we can just like, "Hey, here's your last check. By the way, you're also banned from the premises. Don't come back." Okay. Okay. Sounds good. Cool. So, as of now, like are they going to the police station or anything? Are you guys just going to keep them for questioning? Um, we're still uh waiting on Ryan to finish like some of his statement. He's a little shooken off from what just happened, right? Um, understandably so. But, uh, right now it's Darien. He's under arrest, so he is going through our station. Um, Oh, thank Uh we just have some uh final stuff to speak with Ryan about and then he'll be out of here once I give him some paperwork and then uh and then you guys can do what you have. Okay. Okay. So it it's to know Darion is most definitely going down this station. Yeah, he already left. Oh, so the the the officer in charge was just here uh left and took him down. So Okay. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much for that information. Yeah, no problem. Appreciate that. Thank you guys for sticking around and helping. I'm sure that was probably an ugly situation. So, but Oh my god. Sounds like it. I can't believe I was in the middle. I could have got hit, bro. Yeah. I'm glad you didn't cuz then that would have been even worse, right? Right. Like, nobody likes black eyes. No. I mean, they might look cool for a day or two, but after that, it's hard to sleep on. You know what I'm saying? So, yeah. One of them grabbed me a little bit. Yeah. Was it just in the middle of it while trying to split them up? One of them kind of grabbed me. I think I got punched or something from the side. But was that your dad? Yeah, he thought I wasn't sure. They walked over was like, "What did you do?" I was like, "I didn't do anything." I swear. No, you guys. Yeah, you guys are fine. Um uh I don't think we need you for anything else. Do you need them for anything else, Alic? No. Um I Let me check with the other officers real quick. I don't believe so. You guys will probably go back into the store and then we'll send Ryan in. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
