Fair warning, extreme levels of entitlement ahead. Even the officers couldn't believe what they were hearing. Here are five cases of the worst Karens ever captured on police body cam. Number five, when even the cops can't handle the Karen energy, police stop a woman driving a van that has been flagged as stolen. Here's what happens next. >> Hi. >> Hello. I've got stuff, texts and stuff cuz is it something to do with the van? >> I didn't hear the >> pulling me over actually. >> Well, because your van is reported stolen. >> Okay. It's not stolen. >> Okay. Well, again, we still have to deal with the fact that it's report. >> It's okay. I can explain it to you. Do you want me to? >> Yeah. Yeah. You kind of need to understand what's going on. >> Well, yeah. Okay. So, I have an issue. I'm on my way to Michigan with this van. >> Okay. >> Probably tomorrow morning. My daughter's in hospital. >> Okay. She's 27. She met a friend, a very nice guy. >> He's in his He's 35. So, he got arrested. >> He gave the police the keys to give to me >> and rather than get it told at the time, >> but I didn't know all the history. So, he was put into a like a cuz of my daughter was with him. He took my daughter from Illinois. We called the sheriff because he has mental issues at that time, like bad ones. And we were really worried about her. So she went off with him and uh she went off to Michigan. She called in some place outside Ann Arbor about an hour outside. We all had to run up there to rescue her because he was trying to drive through red lights cuz he was whatever he was whatever was wrong with him mental, he was delusional. So anyway, he got up there. He's a very gentle, kind person. I've come to find out I was visiting her in the mental facility him. He was fine. I He gave me many letters signed that I can drive the van. Then I come across he's not contacting me lately. His dad is the same name. His dad is lying to you. His van is not in his dad's name. That kid is He's not a kid either. He's a full grown man. He's ready to come out and live with me here in Illinois and stay with me. and his mother. She's okay. Um, he he's not allowed to live at home with them cuz they have 120 weapons in in the house. Whatever it is. Yeah. I don't I know like the law, but I don't need to know a lot. >> She goes on with lengthy personal stories, her daughter's health problems, her Michigan trips, and the vehicle owner's family issues. >> So, I'm driving this. He knows I have this >> number for Walmart. It's going to be 25. >> I'm putting new tires on it. I have a couple toll booth tickets to pay that she sent me as mom. Like they all know I have the van. His dad comes along and says it's his you gave me. >> Where's your driver's license at? >> Well, that's expired. >> I'm not Where's your driver's license at, though? You have a physical driver's license? >> I couldn't find it. I've been with the trips to Michigan and back and forth. >> You have anything with your name on it? >> I have I have emails and text messages. He's lying to you. >> You have anything with your name? >> No. >> Credit cards >> at home. my >> I'm pretty sure I don't >> cuz I left my passport on the counter. >> Okay. So, I'm not >> So, the reason my about my license thing, why I'd have to show you my passport is because my immigration thing. So, I'm allowed to go and get this cheap this cheap driver's license. >> Okay? >> And if you get that one, it means that you're an illegal alien. But I've lived here. My kids are grown. I'll call him right now for you. >> You don't need to call him cuz he's >> No, I'd like to. No. No. What's your last name? >> He can't be in for that long. I've been waiting on his call. I'm not giving the van to >> What is your last name? >> They're trying >> seems to be very evasive. >> I'm not evasive. I'm trying to tell you everything out so that I'm being sincere. >> Okay. Why don't we have you stand at the back of >> I'm trying to tell you everything. >> I want you move around. >> Can I show you the proof that the van isn't stolen? It's in my phone. >> Okay. Can I get a >> listen? >> But when pressed for proof, she fails to provide any evidence of ownership or permission to use the van. >> The registered owner cuz the machine registration has a driver's license attached to the owner and it's the 37y old that's reported stolen. Um, but he's also wanted in Michigan, right? Michigan warrants. He's wanted a Michigan for receiving stolen property and cleaning the looting and criminal or criminal trespass basically burglary and and apparently he's in a psych hospital right now. Right. >> That's what she says. But she also just said she dropped off a friend in Skoi but couldn't tell us where. And then when I asked specifically where she said uh well >> my friend drove home. I was driving a friend to my husband's home to Skooki and then >> couldn't tell tell us where >> she's also experienced. >> However, this guy I think it's easier to bring her in. >> I have no reason to book the car for now, right? >> From my phone. It's all in my phone. >> I would not be driving a stolen vehicle. I live in a million dollar house. >> I need the van because I'm going to be picking him up pretty soon and my daughter. Yeah, we'll get it all >> just so you know, right? >> We'll get it all worked out. But >> yeah, know I'm totally I'm totally telling the truth right now. Cooperating everything I can do. >> I know. But do you mean like I was talking? >> So your driver's license is expired since 2017, which is illegal to drive on. >> No, the No, I'm allowed to get a license. Hold on. >> You do get a license, but you can't drive until you get your license. >> No, you're not listening on that. And I have to explain that cuz I have to explain this to someone else. And the sergeant here. >> Still, she maintains her innocence, drowning the officer's questions with lengthy explanations and constant interruptions. >> The story is you're allowed to go and get a driver's license and be a what's it called? illegal alien. Illegal. And I can do that. I'm from Ireland and I have also I'm Canadian citizen. I'm from Ireland. I I grew up in Ireland. So, my immigration is going through. The son was probably in the car in the envelope. >> I don't want to go down after I have grown children that are born in America. I have a husband of over 20ome years. I don't want to go down and get the license that says I'm a non-citizen, which I could get today. >> So, I'm waiting for my IDs to get my other my replacement social security card. I've had a job getting it. And then I'm going to get the real license. So, I have an expired, but I haven't because I'm actually allowed to have a driver's license, but it's just a crime that doesn't really suit me with my immigration. It wouldn't help. And my immigrations is really, really, really important. So, I I'm So, in a way, I do, but because of that change, which I can walk in without it and get one. >> Listen, listen. >> We need to figure out what's going on. I'll let you look at my car. >> Rose, you got to listen to me talk. Yeah. So, until I'm done talking, please don't talk. Okay. >> We need to figure out what's going on. This car is reported stolen. Yeah. >> Your driver's license is expired since 2017. We need to figure all that out. After we figure all that out at the station, there is a very good possibility that you would leave without getting charged with anything. Okay? But we need Listen, >> we need to figure this all out. Okay? Yeah, >> we can't do it because there's no way in the world we're going to be able to do it here. We need everybody around and everything. So, we're going to go back to the station. There's no need to get all worked up and anxious and upset. Okay. >> You take the hair out of my mouth then cuz I'm afraid of Thank you so much to pull it all the way. There's still one there. >> There's no There's nothing. It feels like I'm not going in your mouth. >> Pardon? No, cuz I want to hear it. As the officers press for clarity, they note that the vehicle is officially reported stolen. Becoming visibly distressed, she pleads with them not to tow the van and ask them to simply call the vehicle owner. >> But you need to calm down. >> Can you get the garage opener so I can get somebody to bring you guys my ID? >> It's in the visor. Please take the two garage openers cuz that's how I get in. Yeah. >> Okay. >> Listen. Okay. That's That's not There's no open alcohol in my car. >> We're going to try to locate the owner for sure, but we also are going to tow the car because it's technically a stolen vehicle out of Michigan. So, Michigan's going to have >> It's not stolen. You won't look in my phone and I'll prove it to you. Call the owner. >> I'm explaining to you how to >> His name, his full name is in my phone. Call him up. I would like to explain to you what's going on, but you don't want to listen to you. >> We have to call the Michigan department that reported the storm and see what they're >> calling harbor. >> You let me know when you want to understand what's going >> the ones gave me. >> I'm trying to explain to you what's happening. You want to keep interrupting me. So when you want me to let you know what's going on, you let me know. >> But you're towing it and I'm panicking. >> This is why I originally had it so it wouldn't get towed to me. So you won't panic as much. >> Okay. Call Ann Arbor police. Say that case. It's on record. >> I'm not going to do that right now. >> Oh, you're going to to make everyone pay a fortune and ruin our jobs for us. And all you have to do is >> just call the owner. >> It is reported stolen. >> Well, I can report anything stolen. Doesn't mean it really is. >> We are. It is reported stolen. >> Okay. No, it's not stolen. If you call the owner, I'm telling you the owner's phone number is in my phone. >> And we will get to that point. And you didn't even let me give you information on my bracelet sitting on the dash on the door and that was with me. >> Okay. >> Big patch of the day. You guys are going to find out the real truth and you're not going to feel like I'm the big patch. >> Yeah. No. Yeah. And you're holding my arm. When you find out what a good life I've lived and how good I am to saving people's lives, you're going to feel like not the best. I also just told you thank you. >> I don't care if it's reported stolen. The dad's tote with a house full of weapons. >> Before being placed in the police cruiser, she makes all sorts of requests. She's then taken into custody and transported to the station. >> To me, myself, I'm not really against, but his his son can't live in the house with him as common sense would tell you. And he put us homeless. >> Yes, I'm holding on to the van. No, I'll wait for my phones. >> You're going to come with me to >> Wait, I want an answer. My phone's coming. Yes, your cell phones are coming now. Go with this officer. >> And can you bring me a coat? >> You're going to go in the squad car. You don't need >> Can you call my husband Patrick Fleming? >> We are going to handle all that at the station. I told you we can't handle that right here. Okay. >> The woman is later charged with vehicular theft. Number four, bad parking decision leads to big trouble for drunk nurse. A police officer approaches a parked vehicle blocking a fire department's emergency exit. Inside are a woman and her boyfriend who explained they were just talking and didn't realize they were obstructing emergency access. >> Doing you guys part of the fire department? >> Yes. I'm so sorry. Oh my god. >> You are part of them? >> No. Where's Where >> are we blocking the gateway for ambulances and all that? >> No. Yeah. First of all, it says no entry. >> I didn't see it, sir. But >> here, I'll show it to you. Here >> right here. Do not enter. >> Sorry, sir. >> And then what about the drink you guys dropped over there? Who's been drinking? Are you guys been drinking? >> It's water, bro. >> Who's the driver? >> Water. I'm the driver and I have progressive issues. >> Do are you been drinking? >> I have been drinking water. >> So there's no alcohol in your system whatsoever. >> True, sir. >> I'm the traffic officer. I'm doing DUIs. This is not a normal behavior to block a place where we've had so many fatalities and so many old people that need emergency rescue >> and I'm also part of the hospitality assistance. So, anything that has been for >> I need your license or restoration >> and you can also talk for me because >> I need your license or resistation insurance. >> Okay. So, you can come to my vehicle and you're going to approach me your stuff. >> 74 step four switch two. This is the fire area >> records. >> You don't see the sign? Your glasses. >> Sir, do you have >> Well, I'm an organ donor. So, I mean, >> so exactly what it is that I did wrong in this situation >> here. I was pulled up in front of a >> fire station blocking the entrance where they exit for emergency services only. You appear to be under the influence of alcohol, driving and having positive control of a motor vehicle. >> The woman ignores instructions and constantly interrupts the officer. >> Um they're parked right here in front of um station. We literally got out the car with my boyfriend and we stopped because we were discussing a situation and then we had the police at our back and we were not swerving or curving or any of situation of sort. >> I didn't understand as to what exact exactly they dispos. But I suggest you go listen to what he's saying. >> No, I don't I do not respond well to males and I'm a female and I would respect the fact that >> if you're going to refuse to perform standardized fields for exercises, you'll see right here it says operation of a motor vehicle consistent consent. I'm not >> to any sobriety test required by law. >> You're not doing that and we're going to leave your car. You can get yourself in jail for impeding. >> I'm saving my >> She's the one that's causing control. You're not saying anything. You're making things worse and it's escalating more and more. We don't need to escalate things. >> Listen, what's going on? >> You saying that you you can't speak to a male the whole time, ma'am. I've been asking you questions >> and I have not answered all any of your questions because I don't even understand what is going on right now. >> I have not been pulled over for speeding. We No, we're not going to make lies up in here. >> That's why you wanted to get rid of the cup and all that. And it's it's understandable. You know, I can deal with the cup thing. Her boyfriend tries to step in again, but is kept at a distance. He pleads with the officers, hoping for leniency. >> Well, there's another the same cup is in there. >> All right, ma'am.
