On July 29th, 2024, officers conducting routine patrol in the parking lot of a Wawa gas station observed two individuals engaged in a heated verbal argument. He, you know, slowly rolling and he stops right where he's at and stick the middle finger at us. >> So, my boss is like, "What the fuck?" Like, but you know, the door was closed and everything. We didn't exchange words verbally. >> So, then he just gets out the car. like, "I'll [ __ ] you guys up. Pull you guys up." My boss opens the door and he's like, "You're, you know, like stand back or whatever. Get the [ __ ] away from us." So, as he starts getting on the phone, I see him pull the knife. So, I see him pull the knife. I got out the car. >> Where were you in the passenger? >> Yeah, I was in the passenger. I got out the um the car. I went around the trailer and I seen him with the knife. So, I'm there trying to create distance because I see how close he is to him with a knife. You know, I don't want nothing to happen. Yeah. So, as I'm standing there, I'm trying to verbally talk to him to distract him from what he really wants to do. My my sister's a cop, so you know what I mean? >> You got to be quick on your head with this kind of [ __ ] You can't just let it [ __ ] around. So, it goes quick. >> It goes quick. So, when that happened, I'm like, "Bro, I you know, mouthing back. I'll [ __ ] you." Now, so now he puts his attention on me, but the the distance is greater. So, my boss notices that he kind of wants trying to get on the phone. When he tries to get on the phone to call you guys, he goes back to him again. And so when he goes back to him again, I looked around and saw the first thing which was the pole that I had there. There was a pole. >> So now I got about 5 ft distance from him. So if he tries, you know, he's going to move back. >> So once I created the distance, >> we're exchanging words. We're exchanging words and he comes out. I mean, uh, >> he gets closer to him. You know, I'm not going to do nothing. He comes closer to him like with the knife. So I see that. >> Closer to your boss. >> To my boss. I went to try to swing and I went try to swing. He moved back. And when he moved back, >> bro. Luckily, like I said, we couldn't even call because everything happened. The cop just came out of nowhere. >> Okay. >> From the parking. When he comes out of nowhere, I drop the pole. We signal him down. The cops come out. One pulls a taser, one pulls a sidearm. The guy's not cooperating. Now he stands on his car. >> So, at that point, I still have my sandals on. >> Yeah. >> So, again, being quick on my head, I see that they're not going to get him off the car. Nobody's going to get close to somebody with a knife, so they're just going to wait until he does something. So, I I said, "Where's my boots?" I put my boots on. When I put my boots on, he's so focused on the two officers that I came right back here. I went slowly. I crept behind the car. And when he went on, I told him when I got to the cops, I pushed and I pushed him. >> Okay. When I pushed him, he fell to the ground. And that's when the cops got >> He still had the knife in his hand. >> The knife dropped. >> The knife dropped. As soon as I pushed him, he he wasn't holding it like, you know. >> Yeah. So when he pushed him, the knife flew off. >> He didn't expect that push. So that's when the when the knife went flying, when the knife went fly, they got on him and I went over and I kicked the knife away. Okay. >> I'm not on two bonds. This is nothing, buddy. >> I'm out on two bonds. >> I'm on two bonds. Your boy, boy. >> Now, here's the thing with me. I have PTSD. >> I've been in situations like this before. I lost a best friend. It stuck with me. So, when he looked at me in my eyes and said, "I'm going to kill you." >> It set me off and I shouldn't have blacked out. And that's why I told you officer and I said, "I swear to God, if you you're going to kill me, you better [ __ ] do it." And then that's when the cop came and I was blacked out at that moment. He's like, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey." And he said, "I'll [ __ ] kill you. Watch when I see you." And I all I did was this. Your your officer tried to stop. And I went like that. I pushed him away. >> Did you know he was a cop? >> At that moment, I was blacked out. I'm going to be honest. >> Okay. Yeah. Yeah. >> And then once I heard him say, "Hey, hey, hey, hey." And he grabbed my shoulder. I knew that, you know, I came back to my senses and realized that he was a cop. >> Okay. >> And then she came on me. He came on me. >> Yeah. >> You know, and did what they had to do. >> So, your boy just pushed me off the top of my car. He died. You're dead by them all. >> No, that was me. >> You're dead by tomorrow.
