At the hospital, Ashley was transferred into a restraint chair where officers say she continued thrashing, yelling, and making threats towards officers and medical staff, as well as threatening an officer multiple times, including threats to kill him, come to his home, and harm his family. Ashley later admitted during transport to jail that she had only two beers. Ashley was arrested on charges including battery or threats to a law enforcement officer, resisting or obstructing an officer, operating while under the influence, and misdemeanor bail jumping. Authorities also issued citations for possession of open intoxicants, possession of marijuana, hit and run involving property adjacent to a highway, and unsafe lane deviation. Officers say her presence at Dwiey's bar and alleged alcohol use resulted in additional bail jumping charge. Court records later show prosecutors formally charged Ashley with felony threats to cause bodily harm to certain individuals involved with the legal system along with resisting or obstructing an officer. Ashley was released on a $1,000 signature bond with conditions that she not consume alcohol. This case is still open.
