On December 21st, 2024, the Fort Meyers Police Department was called to the scene at Topgolf for reports of a potential incident at the property. The following shows the bodywn worn camera footage of what happened during the incident. I'm a manager. Oh, okay. You I didn't witness it until at the very end. Our security guards did witness this. We've got the female that, as far as I know, hit this guy with a car is over here speaking to one of our managers. She hits him with a car according to the boy and the girl were fighting. Okay. Um, another guy got in between them. Okay. And then I think she hit him with her car. Hit one of the people fighting. Yeah. The guy is inside. He's got a bloody face. Like he's not, you know, gravely injured, but he's in shock. He's gotcha. Okay. Um, this is our manager who was just speaking to her. Okay. So, it was like a Sorry, I just get straight. Boy and girl were fighting. Had the third girl. She hit somebody with a car into the middle of it and then this girl hit him with a car. That's what I picked up from this. Yeah. There's like a there's like a broken windshield, but there's any damage to the car, but there is blood inside of him. She's got his will. He's got a bloody face. Okay. So, um there's four people involved. Is that right? Uh no, I think just two. Three that I know. There's the guy that was hit, the girl that hit him, and a guy that is with them that was trying Who hit the car? The girl. Oh, the girl that was fighting with the guy. He's upstairs just cleaning up cuz he was kind of like Yeah, she's the girl in the white shirt. All righty. Thank you. Does this happen inside the No. Is there um They saw it. Look, I just want to make sure you're okay. I'm just fine. I'm perfectly fine. No, you're not fine, hun. You got blood all over you. Did he put his hands on you? Cuz where' the blood come from? I can't talk about it. Why not? Why can't you talk about it? Because I just see it. Well, you got to tell me what's going on. They said I'm going to talk to those people who said they saw it. So, they'll tell Nobody saw it. Yeah. The security out there saw it. Well, then they're lying because they didn't. And there's cameras, too. See it? So, where' the blood come from? His face. How did he start bleeding out? Cuz I pushed him out of my way because he put it Were you all fighting? My windshield's broken. Your front wind windshield from him. What happened? Did the windshield get broken from him? Okay. So, what happened? Y'all leaving here and then you got to find tried to stop him from what? I just have to I I just have to go pick up my daughter. Well, do you need medical attention or anything? No, I'm Okay, so you got to tell me what happened. I can't because I don't want him to. What did you Well, we got to know what's going on. Like I said, he got blood all over you and we don't we don't got anything. Not mine. It's his because he wouldn't stop touching me in the car or Okay. So, what was he doing in the car? He was freaking out. His mom has been calling me all night to come pick her up. We were just here for a work party. Okay. We were supposed to go home. Okay. And he didn't want to go home. He wanted to stay. And then what happened? Was this inside? No, it was all in my car. So everything happened in your car. So you guys walked to your car. He didn't want to leave. And then No, I had to not drag him to my car, but he can't talk. So I had to bring him to my car. Okay. So, what happened in the car? He he started yelling at me about I should talk to him like an adult. I should do this. I should do that. And I told him, "I've been trying to tell you for the past hour, your mom wants us to come pick up the baby." Okay. We have to go pick up our baby. Okay. He just got mad and did what? He started throwing his hands at me and started kicking the windshield. So I had to like push him off me. Oh, he's upstairs with the manager. There's two dudes apparently. I think his head hit my windshield or something. So when you said not the windshield, the window and I pushed him off me and then all I saw was blood and he started wiping it all over me. You're going to go to jail. I'm going to make sure of it. I'm going to wipe my blood all over you, all over your car so you can go to jail. How did the blood Where did the blood come from when he smashed his head? No, I He was He was sitting right here. Okay. Sitting there. Yeah. Okay. And you're in the driver. Yeah. Because we were getting ready to go pick up our daughter. You start telling I'm like, "You need to talk to me like an adult if you had an issue with what we were doing and you should talk to me." I said, "I've been trying to tell you for the past hour. We need to go get our child." Yep. He didn't listen. And so he started throwing his hands at me. What is throwing his hands? Like punching punching at me. Okay. And landing the punches on you. Yes. my head. Gotcha. My arm, everything. And so I was like, I have to go the girl. I don't even know. He's just Where did the blood come from? From his face. When I pushed him towards the window to get off me cuz he put me in a chokeold. I was like, you're going to kill me. So I Okay. Um when you said he put you in a choke hold, like could you breathe or could you not breathe? You couldn't breathe. Okay. How long did he try and choke you? I don't know. How you doing? Hey, where's the guy at? Gentleman's upstairs cleaning up. If you want, I'll take those of him as well. When he came in, he had uh like bloody fleece all over his clothes and all. So, everything happened in the parking lot. Everything happened in the parking lot. When they came in, he was ready to get to the restaurant. Um, they got him to go into separate room. Okay. At first, my Rebecca. Okay. She didn't want to go to the party. So, I said, "Okay, we don't have to go to the party. That's cool. It's what it is." What's your relationship to Rebecca? We've been together for 3 years. We have a baby. You guys married? You have kids? We don't We're not married, but we have kids. Okay. I said cool. We don't have You have a kid together? Yeah. Okay. I said, "Okay, you have anxiety about going. Okay, we can stay home all weekend. I'm cool with that. Honestly, I'm tired from working all [ __ ] week. I'm tired. I'm I'm cool with She doesn't want to go to the party. We go to the party. We've been cool with everybody all week. We were at the party. She was playing golf with us. She was [ __ ] hitting the golf club. Go to hell. We were all cool. We Everything's been cool. Like, we're having a good night. Have you been drinking tonight? Yeah, we've been having I'm I honestly haven't. Like everybody? Everybody. Including Rebecca? Yeah. [ __ ] yeah. Okay. Everybody's been drinking. Honestly, she starts snapping as soon as we get in the car to go pick up our daughter. Okay. We have a daughter mirror back and we have a baby. Where's the baby at? She's at my mom and dad. Okay. My mom and my stepdad. Um they agreed. They said, "Okay, we'll watch the baby for the party." Okay, that's fine. So, me and Rebecca, we're go okay. We drop the baby off. We hang out there for an hour. We go to the party, you know, like, "Yeah, [ __ ] it. It's Christmas party. I worked really [ __ ] hard. I worked really having a good time." What happened out there in the parking lot? We went on to the parking lot. We're going home to get the baby. She's like, "Are we going to Buffalo Wild Wings?" Cuz that's originally originally before we got Buffalo Wild Wings. Oh yeah, that was the plan. You know, we wanted Buffalo Wild Wings. Buffalo Wild Wings. Okay, I'm cool with that. I'm like, [ __ ] yeah. I'm about to get drunk. I'm about Buffalo Wild Wings. You know, obviously, you know, this sounds good. Can you guys shut Okay, you guys are by the car. What? What happened at the car? We get in the car and Who's we who got who got me and Rebecca? Okay. I don't know what happened. I'm [ __ ] bleeding out of the [ __ ] lip and she's [ __ ] screaming at me about get out of my [ __ ] car. R you started all this [ __ ] All I did was ask her to go to a Christmas party because I've worked hard. We've missed our rent. I've done everything I can to pay our rent. This is literally everything in detail. We missed our rent. Everything in this year cuz I didn't go to work cuz I didn't want to work at the job I was at. Okay. All right. Stand up, Benjamin. No, I No, I kind of tricked him in the getting out of my car. So, he How did you do that? I told him I was I don't even remember. I was just like, "Get out of my car. We'll talk about it outside." And Okay. He shut the door. I locked it and drove over here to Gotcha. Cuz it happened over there and then you came home. Well, cuz I just wanted to go pick up our truck. Yeah. Yeah, I see. She doesn't need to go through this. She's not even two. So, beside the punches. Hi, ma'am. Sorry. Did you happen to see that? I just I just happened to see like just like at the end of it. What was the end like? Like he was holding like I think it was in the the hand of the car in the silver car and like he just went to the floor. She ran out with the I think she was driving. I didn't know who was driving the car, but then he went to the floor like he was I just saw him dirting from his clothes. What was he wearing? Like he was wearing like white shirt and then he's upstairs. Yeah, he's upstairs. There's two people upstairs. Two two guys. I think it's just one. Just one guy. Okay. Cuz someone called and said there was two guys. I believe there was another gentleman that was like one of those three that were over there that just saw what happened. None of them said they saw it. They said So it's just between the the room. There's only one person upstairs. Okay. Uh you didn't see anything. You just saw him on the floor. Did anybody else happen to see um I I'm not sure. I I will I would say yes just because of the incident in the park domestic violence. So it would So yeah, there's no choice to go to jail. I know that. How long y'all been together? 3 years. Three years. Do you guys live together? Are you engaged? Married? Well, technically engaged, but I mean we get into fights all the time. Gotcha. Can I see your hands? phone for me. Now you wouldn't get off me. I had no choice but to get him off me. Was he striking you or what was he doing? Yes. He just kept kick. He was like on the side of the car just kicking me and punching me. Wait, on the side of the car? In the car? Yeah. In the passenger side like anything about kicking. Okay. So now he's punching you and then he kicked you done everything. Everything you could think of. No, it was just us in the car and nobody was ever home. So his cooworkers weren't there. No, they were all up here. No, he was inside and he kicked the window. Is that how? Yeah, that's how it broke. The second windshield he's done. So he kicked it and then my doors every dent on my car is from him. I've never hit them. I the back. Is this the first time he's put his hands in here? No. Can I Can I talk? I got arrested last time. You did? So, like woman to woman. That's why I'm scared. I can't get arrested for this this time again. Wait, can I can I just talk to you? I know you got a lot going on, right?
