These boyfriends didn't just need space, they needed saving. And thankfully, the officer stepped in just in time. Here are five cases when hero cops rescue boyfriends from evil girlfriends. Number five, this mother's worst nightmare, her son's relationship. [music] In our first case, officers were once again sent to the same residence for yet another domestic disturbance. What they encountered this time would be no different. This is what they walked into. >> Where are you? >> You're right here. Okay. All right. >> To come back. He told me to hide right here. >> Why? >> His mom called the car. She told me to come back. >> Who told you to come back? >> Well, what did the officer tell you tell you earlier? >> I see your hands. >> He told me to cool off. >> There's a lot. >> He told me to cool off and he told me to come back. He's told me to come back. >> Come talk to me on this side. >> He's not going to come back to jail. He told me to come back. Of >> course, he's got it last night. He's >> not going to go. >> I don't have any. >> Come here. Wait, whoa, whoa, whoa. >> Anybody? I don't got nowhere to go. >> I was sleep outside today. I have nowhere to go. >> What happened today? When you get back, when you got back? He said to me every time I would just slept. I can show you my clogggin. I've been at work. I've been drinking all night >> since y'all took me away and I don't know what the to do. No, I have nowhere to do. >> You were at your friend's house, right? Away from this problem. But you came back. >> No, I didn't. I gave him my wrong address. I told her to buy from me. I called my friend like, "Hey, cuz she's at work. I can't go nowhere. I have nobody here. So, I told her, "Hey, I don't want to go to jail." They literally told me, "If you don't leave right now, you're going to go to jail." I bought a whole TV for him. This is This is the only thing I have. This is the only thing I >> want. So, she lied for me. >> Hey, can you meet the other officer on the other side, please? >> I have nowhere to go. My dog is here and the cops told me you have you you're not you don't have no hotel to go to. Your dog is going to stay here. >> Following a tense argument at her boyfriend's mom's house, the woman left to cool off at a friend's place. But a single call from her boyfriend brought her back and sparked a second incident. >> I don't You see what they're saying? >> No, I do. You hear what he's saying? >> I'm talking to you right now. >> I know, but do you hear what he's saying? There's another officer. >> They're literally They're They're literally saying what the I'm I'm literally saying right now, but they're speaking Arabic. >> Okay. Well, I can't understand Arabic and there's another officer talking to them. >> So, because you guys don't understand what the they're saying, >> I go to jail, right? >> Listen, I'm talking to you. I'm trying to understand what happened today, right now, 15 minutes ago. >> Just told me to hide here. >> Okay. Well, you're >> because he his mom called the cops. >> Okay. What? You're You're not completing your story, right? You're You say you got here, your mom, the mom came out, you're paying $300 and you're keep switching the story. What happened when you got back between you and him? >> Nothing happened. >> You said I told you you called early. That's what I'm trying to tell you. >> Okay. >> He called early for you guys. >> No, not early. What happened? 15 minutes. >> That's what I'm telling you. >> Okay. We got to start. >> Let me start from the start. Okay. >> Let me start from the start. Now they quiet. You see what I mean? >> Continue, please. >> Okay. What is your end point here? You going to arrest me or you going to arrest me? You going to let me leave or you going to arrest me? >> You're not telling me any of your story >> before I keep going because you keep being dismissive with me. Are you going to take me or am I going to or am I can you just leave? What? Cuz he asked me to come back here. So, am I going to leave >> or you guys just going to arrest me? >> It's not so much about you coming back here. It's about what happened. Why? Why did someone feel the need to call the police for us to show up? >> From the start. >> They're trying to narrow down exactly what sparked the most recent call. But the woman keeps shifting her story, making it hard to follow what really happened. >> Not from the start. Not >> I can't matter right now. >> No. Listen. It's not from three calls ago. It's not about you addressing one call. Listen, I'm talking now. It's not about what happened earlier today. It's about what happened 15 minutes ago when you showed back up from when you were at your friend's house. When you got back here, what happened? Not earlier today, tonight. 15 minutes ago. What happened tonight when you came through the gates tonight as he was in the back behind the barricade? Now, please start and tell us what happened. So you guys don't know anything because the officers that were here before they saw that he was lying >> and instead of arresting me they took me away >> again. >> So okay from the start because you guys are police officers >> if you guys are police officer you guys are here to serve the public right? >> We already know what happened earlier. The officer who was here earlier that took you to your other location is here and he filled us in already. >> So what are you going to do to me? >> So now we want to know what happened when you got back. You said he was beating you up. That's all I got, >> right? You said that >> he was. >> Okay. What happened? How did >> you guys took me away because I have some blood right here. I have blood that's out of my own >> I have blood out of my own fingers. >> At the same time, other officers pull aside the boyfriend and his mother to get their version of events. >> So, who was the adviser earlier? She said he was grabbing her. She did it to get away. His version it's different. >> One thing she said I was grabbing earlier. You talking about earlier when she hit me in the nose. >> Mhm. >> No, she lying, bro. She came out here. >> She came out here. You [laughter] come to the back. If you come to the back and you see everything she was doing to me, bro. Like she You can literally come to the back. She comes at me and attacks me with her claws and she just does that all the time and she screams when I called they heard her yelling. I'm telling them from this from 15 minutes ago or >> this right here this is from earlier. This what happened earlier? Okay. >> Did you tell Did you tell No, no, I know. >> Go inside. Let me talk to police. >> Did they uh Did you tell the officers? earlier today. The first time they got called on here was because of her getting loud and I didn't even call the police the first time she did. >> Sure. >> She called the police for me. She was like, "Oh, because I told her next time you get up and you break my house or anything that she was breaking back there," she grabbed a pair of scissors. >> Can I intervene real quick? I I've never met you before. So, what's >> Does she live here? What's the living? >> She lives with me. That's my girlfriend. We live here. >> So, she does live here. >> Yeah. The first Sorry, I just had I just had to ask. >> No, no, she does. She lives, she stays here with me at the moment because when we first came from Arizona, we used to stay over there in Arizona. >> Okay, >> we came here and my mom said we could stay here until we found our we can get out of here. >> Okay, >> so basically uh my mom told her she could stay inside the house. >> Okay, we stay we were staying inside the house. Then she got aggressive and like that. She broke the door. She hit my mom with a boom on her head and No, that was a long time ago. They arrested her for that already. And I came to drop the charges in court the next day. Every time she gets arrested like three, four times she got arrested over the same and I came to drop the charges on her in court and she has a warrant in Arizona over the same. That's why we left Arizona and we came over here because she didn't want to get arrested in Arizona. So we came over here and now she's she basically on the same >> Even without all the facts, the officers can sense the situation slipping again as the woman edges toward another outburst. >> Can I see my daughter? >> No, come on. We got to >> No, I want to see my dog >> in a second. >> I saw I saw the dog. >> It's under my name. He's under my name and and I get legal responsibility for him. Let me see my dog. I haven't seen him in three hours. Let me see my dog. >> They're fine. I just saw them. >> So, I can see my dog, right? >> I don't want any conflict with it with >> I don't care about him. I want to see my dog. >> I can't see my dog. Yeah. No, cuz he's I don't want to prevent >> any further altercation between you two. >> I don't care about an altercation. My dog will listen to me. Where's my dog? >> They're in there. >> I don't want to see him. I want to see my dog. >> Why is he allowed to be with my dog and I can't see my dog? >> You guys told me the next day I can I can see him. Where's my dog? >> Where's my dog? >> Where's my dog? Oh, I just want to see my dog. I You guys don't understand because it's not like your baby to you. That's my baby. >> I understand. >> That's my baby. >> But the thing is >> that literally eats better than you. That's my baby. Let me see my dog. >> So, I don't want you to go over there cuz he's >> stay three times a day. >> You guys got to a physical altercation. >> I don't care about him. >> Okay. >> I don't care about I don't care about the altercation. >> If I see my baby, I don't give a about him. I don't care about him. >> Okay. Can we go? >> Nobody's going to touch him. All I'm asking house dog. >> Where's my dog? >> Can we go to the front? You see the dog? >> What house? The house that I that I built and that I bought. >> Whatever. Yeah, sure. That works. But let's get you away from him. Then we can let the dog out or let you see the dog away. >> I'll go with you. >> I ain't going to do nothing. >> I'll go with you. Am I getting arrested or not? >> We don't want that dog to come out. >> Come out. >> He won't come out. He won't eat. He won't eat you. Don't worry. He's a big He's literally a sweetheart. He won't. >> Then out of nowhere, the woman challenges the officers. >> Am I getting arrested or not? Cuz if you're going to arrest me, put my handcuffs right now. >> Be honest with me. >> Yeah, you're going to be under arrest. >> So, you're going to arrest me, right? >> Yes. >> Why? >> No. >> Or don't mess the battery. No. You said you said >> WHAT DID I DO? DO NOT >> DON'T RESIST. SO, I'm getting arrested. Do not resist. >> Why? Can you please ring my man? We will. Do not resist. Okay. Just Just do not resist. Okay. >> I have a nursing job and I have a nursing >> You're under arrest for domestic battery. >> Why? >> You're under arrest for domestic battery. >> When am I going to get out? >> You're going to go to a hearing tomorrow morning. >> Okay. Don't make this worse than it is. It's just >> It's just domestic battery and you go to a hearing. >> You Bro, come on. Bro, don't get me arrested. Bro, I didn't do to you. Please don't get me arrested. Bro, I'mma lose my school. I'mma lose my job. Don't do this to me. Please don't do this to me. >> Sorry about You need more light, man. >> Yeah. >> Don't do this to me. I ain't with him in months. I just want my game and go. I bought the PS5. I have the receipt. >> Okay. >> Do you need to say it? See it? >> Yeah, sure. >> Do you have >> Because are you going to get it for me? >> If you're not going to get it for me, >> stay here for a second. Okay. >> Like, it's my game. >> With both parties separated, officers begin by asking about their relationship and what caused the argument to turn physical. >> You're just my child's father. I mean, you're just my my daughter's mother. You come in here in my house to snatch the game. Yes, she did pay for the game. Like, it was a gift. Yes, she did pay for the game. It was a gift. Like, so how are you getting mad coming here taking break my >> damn put my hands on this girl? Like, like, that's not fair. Like, >> it's my >> I've heard you say it like 20 times. Just chill out. Let us do our thing. Okay. >> I've been saying this for >> Okay, but it's not changing anything. So, what's your name? >> Ashley. We talking. We've been beefing for a minute. We have a child. >> Is there a physical fight with you guys? >> He put his hands on me. He always puts his hands on me. I done lost all my [ __ ] charms. >> What do you mean when you say he put his hands on me? >> Were you here before? >> No, it wasn't you. It was a different person. I'm so tired of it. >> I'm so tired. I lost all my charms on my bracelet. He always putting his hands on me. That's >> what happened today. >> I called him. I was being nice, you know. >> Mhm. >> I wanted to see him. He's like, "Yeah, you can come over." All I did was ask him like, "Oh, you got somebody super rush in there." He started turning up on me. >> Yeah, I got another. No, I don't live here. He He told me to come over. He said he getting off work. I came over. You know, >> I got another like we have a child together. I'm I'm just trying to conversate with him. I let my daughter come over here for a minute. So, I'm just trying to conversate with him. >> Trying to get to an understanding and it turned left. >> It turned left. >> You got you got a car out here something like that? >> Yeah. >> Which one? Which one's yours? >> The white one. >> The white. Yeah. Um, >> it's a classic case of he said, she said, but the officers already have what they need to determine who crossed the line. >> But all I wanted was my game. I left it over here. It's my game. >> You guys have a kid together. You said you don't have any injuries whatsoever. >> I got stuff on my hand, but that's it. Like I don't know. >> Let me see your hands. >> Like little cut like but I don't got nothing. I don't think Put your phone in the purse real quick. >> You be manhandling me and like this happened. >> WHY? >> STOP. Don't knock up. I will drop you. Stop. It's going to go to jail. >> Stop. >> What's going on? >> All right. >> What's going on? >> Man, you guys get a kid together. It's domestic violence. He's got injuries. You don't. Okay. >> I got injuries on my hand. >> It's okay. >> Like that. >> He cut me. >> Like what? You need EMS? >> That's crazy. I'm going to jail. >> You need EMS? >> I'm going to jail. >> Okay. >> Can we talk? Cuz I'm >> We're going to talk back. He just wants her side of the story. >> Y'all really got injuries. >> What if injuries? Cuz I didn't touch him. >> I don't know. >> So you didn't even go in there. So I'm confused. >> Well, he grabbed up like that and He grabbed me up. >> That means you're going in cuffs. >> So he grabbed me up. >> Okay. >> Are you serious? >> We going to figure all that stuff out. >> I have nobody. >> I can I call my mom? >> We'll deal with that in a second. >> Oh my god. Are you serious right now? >> Yes. >> Crazy. Beats my every man. Like this beats my every time. >> If I was manhanding you, it'd be a lot different. I'm literally just escorting you. >> I'm going to jail. >> We're going to figure all that stuff out. >> All right. >> The suspect begins acting out as the cuffs go on, but the officers aren't about to let the situation spiral further. >> Like, I'm so Are you serious? You could just take it off me. >> It's Look where it's sitting at. So, unless these things unhook, it's just under the strap right here. >> Are you serious? >> Yes. Just relax. Oh my gosh. It's not domestic violence. >> Well, you guys have to kick it together. >> What does that mean? >> It would be. You got anything else on you? >> No. What is that? I don't have nothing. >> Go ahead. Start in the car. >> Do I have to sit in the car? Can I just sit down or like Are you going to sit the door? >> I'm going to shut the door. >> I need to bring this out of here. >> Are you serious? >> Put your leg in there, ma'am. Oh my god. >> I have never been arrested in my life. >> Okay. >> We can't talk with you unless we read you your rights and then you agree to talk to us. So if you don't want to give your side of the story, I mean that's up to you. Okay. >> Like it doesn't make sense. So I talk. >> Can I read you your rights? >> You can, but I'm just so confused when I'm the one in the back of the car. >> I told you why back there. >> Let me read you your rights. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? >> Okay. >> So he told me he put his hands on them. When I asked you about injuries, you said you don't have any. >> And then you told me about your hands, but I'm not seeing anything on your hands. >> I have a cut on my finger right here. Like I have cuts on my finger right here. That >> ma'am, that looks like an old cut that's healed. It's not even >> No, it just happened today. I swear to God. >> How did it happen? >> I don't know. >> Okay. >> I was just in there and he was >> Let's start from the beginning. Why were you there? >> Because I called him. We've been, you know, arguing and I asked him, can we talk? I want to talk to him. >> I love him. I miss him. So, I went in there. I'm trying to talk to him. I sit on his lap and then we just start arguing. We always argue. >> What did you argue about? >> She's been hesitant. But when the officers give her one last chance to come clean, she finally starts talking >> out here. >> He's all the way over there. What What did you guys argue about? Because obviously we both love each other, but it's toxic, you know, >> and that's what >> I don't arguments happen. >> Yes. And I don't And I don't put my hands on him first. I swear to God, I did not put my hands on him first. >> How did the argument lead to physical violence between you guys? >> He put his hands on me first. >> What did he do exactly? >> He strong me. He's moving me. He's doing this. He about to put it He choking me. Like I just I don't know. >> Can he lift your head up? Did he choke you around your neck? >> Yes. >> Were you able to breathe? >> I can't remember. But >> did you lose consciousness? >> No, I didn't lose consciousness. >> Was he like pushing you out? >> A lot of problems that we always have. No, I left out the apartment by myself. >> Okay. And then you were at the window, right? >> And then I was at the window because I asked him, "Can I get my game back?" >> How did all the blinds get damaged? >> Because I broke them. >> Okay. >> I broke them. >> I appreciate the honesty. How did >> Why does he have injuries on him? >> I don't know. He's got like an abrasion on his arm. He's got marks on his back. >> I've never touched him on his back. I swear to God. >> The story The story we're getting is that you hit him with those cords. >> Is that possible? >> I might have. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> With more context in hand, it's time to revisit the victim. >> My window. >> Well, so that's what we're Do you have contact with the landlord at all? >> Yeah, but that make me look like I I got domestic violence. I got I got made that happen. All right. >> But you didn't. I mean, and our report is going to obviously say that you didn't. Um, >> is the lock the fool, man. >> Is the lock broken on your window >> or does it is >> How did Did she >> She snatching the window. >> Okay, >> here's where we're at right now. Because you guys have a kid together, the al physical altercation that happened is domestic violence. Okay. You clearly have injuries. She doesn't. Okay. So, I know you said you didn't want >> cuz I didn't touch her, >> right? And so, I know you said you didn't want her to go to jail, >> but based off of what we see, >> she committed domestic violence. Okay. So, with that, Ohio's a arrest state, which means she has she has to go. Okay. Um, and as far as that, like obviously when I when you open the door, she's like half in. Um, trying to reach in. Did she make it through the window or just where she was at? >> She made it through cuz I got a stick in there. I got a stick in both of my windows cuz I live on the bottom floor. I live in the bottom floor. I work all the time. Anybody could go in there. Like, so I got a stick. I don't have screens cuz of her. Like she pulled the screens out. Like every time she come over here and she's being weird. Like I haven't seen this girl in 5 months. Haven't seen her in 5 months. Hi. I only pick up the child and keep it moving. Hi. Like this is >> who has the kid right now? >> Her mother. >> Her mom does. >> I've been trying to call her. I call her mother. I'm >> call. She dials her mother and unleashes a tirade, but the officers intervene before it can escalate any further. >> Like, I didn't want nothing to happen. Like, I don't know. >> Okay, give me just a moment. All right. Mom, Charles is sending me to jail for a DV when he put his hands on me because he has I mean freaking bruises because I was a I was defending myself at his house. So they sending me to jail. I >> think you I think you're not telling the whole entire story. But >> I I am telling the entire story. I put I defended myself. So I hit him with some cords. That's the entire story. >> Okay. >> We said we wanted to talk and then it went left. So now I'm in handcuffs in the back of the car. Malik said he he's going to come get me, but I don't know. >> Hello. >> What? DON'T EVEN GO OVER THERE. >> AT THIS POINT, I don't know. >> Ma'am, she's going to call you back when she gets to the county. Okay. No, my mom is talking. >> She's going to call you back when you get to the counter. >> That's weird. >> Do you have any food like that in this purse? Cuz it's not going to go through the jail cuz the wagon just pulled up. >> It's what? >> Wagon just pulled up. Do you have any food in this purse? >> No. No. >> The night's nearly over, but the officer pauses to give the victim some parting words on how to better handle things moving forward. >> This my son. He's been trying to escape his baby mouth, but he been trying to leave her alone, >> man. Come on now. He invited her over. So, he ain't trying to leave her alone. >> Look, we two men showed up here, >> bro. She said she wanted to talk, >> right? And I told her it was a bad idea. >> Okay, stop. How old are you? >> All right. I'm 35, 36. >> All right. So, you look older than me. >> I've been down this road. This Wrangler rope is is it's a mess. You know this chick is unstable. >> You know she unstable. >> Look at her car. I can tell. Well, that's prime example number one. You know, she unstable. >> Like, she said she want to cheat. She said she want to talk, bro. I understand. Like, I'm >> Listen, listen. Just relax, man. If you know someone this unstable want to talk to you, don't you tell them, "Hey, man. Oh, you can call me everything you want to do over the phone." >> She over here baming on the window. I got the neighbors. What you think I'm >> Then that's when you call the police. Hey, man. You can say that that woman's outside my door. Babe, mom, whichever number she is. >> I didn't want her to go to like I'm not I can't I really She called the police. >> We know. She told us. I really didn't want her to go to jail. I just wanted her out of here. Like I told her, bro, like you know what I'm saying? Like I don't like I don't hate like I told her I don't hate you. I just don't want no dealings with you. Like >> and it's it I with a few seconds me dealing with her. I'm like I don't want to deal with her. And that was just me walking her from this door to my car. That's Listen, I'm going to tell you right now, just cut her off. >> If you can deal with her, deal with it to the courts. On April 20th, 2025, a troubling call about a domestic dispute involving a couple, a child, and an elderly woman sent officers rushing to the scene. Here's how things unfolded. >> What's up? What happened, man? >> Uh, she's she's had a little too much drink. She hopped out the car. Well, I'm just trying to get a home. I >> call 911 earlier today. >> What's your name? >> Okay. Girlfriend. >> Girlfriend. >> What's your kid? >> Uh, I've been there since she's born. >> Okay. I feel like that's >> Hang on right here, man. Hey, what's going on? >> Hi. >> Hi. Are you involved? >> I I'm in the front seat and um my friend is >> You want to wear something? >> Hold on. >> I am her friend. We were going to go out for a nice evening. >> Okay. But she got feeling a little down, shall we say? >> Okay. >> And I didn't like the way she protected. >> So I told her she was scaring me. >> Okay. >> And so I told him, >> well, wherever you went. >> Yeah. >> I told him I wanted to I wanted him to drive. >> Not her. >> Whose car? What? That's her car. >> So, he's been driving. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> Ma'am, come talk to me. >> Oh, yes, ma'am. I'm sorry. >> Okay. So, he's driving, not you? >> Yes. I don't. >> Cuz you were scaring her. Okay. Or cuz she was scaring you. Okay. >> Yes. So, I told her, >> you see, I don't drive, ma'am. >> That's fine. >> So, I told her I did not want her to drive. And so I was telling him I wanted him to drive, not her. >> Okay. >> And that was it. >> Where where was this at? >> It was. >> Okay. >> And they were acting stupid like they told her not to act stupid cuz she was acting stupid. >> Okay. I will talk to you in a minute. With a child caught in the middle, the officers waste no time and ask the elderly woman to walk them through what happened during the drive. >> So, who who's driving down the road at first? Okay. Well, the thing is he was driving down the road and she was acting really stupid. And >> how how was she acting stupid? >> Well, they were having an argument. >> Okay. And she was opening up the car door. >> Oh, >> yes. >> While they're driving down the road. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Where's the baby? >> The baby was in the car seat. >> Good. Can you make contact with her cuz she wants to interrupt my conversation with everybody else, please? >> What's going on? >> I have a piece of boyfriend. I've already called 911 earlier today. This just going on. He's moved out of my house about 10,000 times today. I can show you all the messages of him being present when he comes today. >> Okay. >> Did he Did he punch you? >> Yeah, dude. Like, can I show you my phone that he busted up? >> Yeah. >> So, if you like there's been so much. >> Where's he at? >> He's right there. So, these people saw me on the side of the street stranded. We've been fighting all day. I've begged him a thousand times leave. He's moved. I've got video evidence. The one in the yellow shirt. >> Yes. I've got video evidence of him leaving my house a thousand times. We live in Milton thousand times leaving. I'm on probation. My probation officer knows about him leaving a thousand times. And then every time he goes, comes right back to my house and he's been back. >> He now has to drive my car. >> All I'm trying to do is get the home. This is an elderly lady I take care of. >> Okay. >> Did I do >> I don't know. So, what happened what happened then? >> He's just been fighting all day because he's been going through my phone and also if I could find my phone, I could show you how busted it is. >> You want to see her? >> She avoids giving a straight answer, choosing instead to share an unexpected detail about her background that catches the officer offguard. >> So, look up that I've already called before on him because I didn't want this. I I I'm on probation. I've been through the ringer when it comes to law. >> So I called them probably about four months ago and I said, "Hey, fair warning about to get that officer is my probation officer. >> I'm not trying. I just want the guy to get the away from me." >> Okay. Um, >> you haven't went and got or anything? >> No. >> Why? >> A DV because he cuz that's the thing. I know I've already had a restraining order on her biological father because he pays my So that's the thing and I keep being told I I should have already done it a couple weeks ago but I can't because I'm addicted to you know what it's like for me. You can sit here till you're with the face when it comes to a DV victim. I'm sorry but you can't. >> No, I'm sure. Um >> so be very thoughtful in this whole thing. I'm not >> Okay. How long have y'all been together? >> Two years. >> Okay. >> So that's the >> I called earlier and hung No. I called earlier today, hung up the phone because it was an accident. You can literally You guys can look up that, right? From my phone number. You can literally look up that, correct? >> Okay. So, I'm not >> I don't We're not saying you're >> But this ladies over here treating me like I'm done. >> I don't What? What? What do you mean? What is she >> to with me? >> Well, if you went over there trying to intervene while she was talking about >> I didn't. I was literally just trying to talk to her as soon as she walked up. Okay. Well, that's probably the first person she came in contact with. So, was was she in the car? >> Yes. Right there. I was in the back seat while you whailing on me. >> Look at him. He's on testosterone. He's on all this. >> All right. >> Was all this happening right here in the parking lot? >> It's been going on since we left. >> She puts the blame squarely on her boyfriend, calling him abusive. But the officer isn't jumping to conclusions just yet. >> And I might be wrong. I honest to God, it might be needed, but I've asked him to go a thousand times. He's moved away from my house >> three times in this last week. He came back. >> All right. Just sit tight right here for me. All right. >> Did she ever exit the car while you're moving? >> Who's at the stop sign? >> They're asking what color was the red light. She got out. >> This red light. >> Okay. >> I'm not following her. >> Tell me what happened in the car. Um, we were driving and she was throwing stuff at me and hitting me. I tried to push her back and that's when she bit me right there. >> And then she started pulling the seat belt back >> and choking me a little bit and that's when I slung around. >> She's just drinking. >> Just drinking. She can't drink. She can't. She's like turns into this. >> Yeah. There's no reasoning to She's >> You got your ID on you? I just trying to get everybody home and she hopped out the car. >> Yeah, that's what she said. The older lady said >> now there is another Dustin Spencer out there that got horns and stuff, but that's not me. It's got cauliflower here. They tried to take they they had me halfway to the jail house one time before they realized their mistake. Yeah, >> I was freaking out. >> All right. >> 132. >> 132. >> How long y'all been together? Two years. A little over two years. >> Y'all live together >> at that address. Ridgerest. >> Yeah, that's my mom's address. >> Where do y'all stay at? >> Okay. >> Just watch north on 9th Avenue. I'm not following. >> Did you already tell them what what happened? >> Okay. >> Boyfriend. I already called 911 earlier today. Hung up. I was like, "It's just a >> No, it's just like a you acted stupid by trying to get out." >> Yeah. I was trying to get the Clark. I have videos on my phone of him leaving today. Okay. >> Okay. Just take a deep breath for me. Okay. Try to calm down. >> While the elderly woman brings a calming presence, the younger woman's situation isn't looking good. At least not with what's been said so far. like I called 911 earlier today. >> Okay, >> what happened? >> We've been arguing. We've been going about two years of talk. It's the worst relationship ever. I called the cops back in January and I said, "Hey, you know when I what happened today?" >> Um he I went to his phone. He was messaging after he woke up this morning at 6:00 and >> ready >> saying that I'm some nasty about something that I did 2 years ago. So he's been on his about something you I didn't do this to myself. >> Okay. >> And then it's just been one thing after another like it's just this isn't the first iPhone. I should have shot a restraining order. Um, officer do that. >> So, so he asked what happened tonight. Finish explaining it. Okay. Verbatim. What happened exactly when you got in the car? Just right now. Okay. So, start from when you were in the car. Okay. >> We left the bar. I mean the Milton, I'm sorry. Um, dropped my kids off at their daddy's, left Milton, went and got him and it's just me. You will come back home. You will blah blah blah blah blah. So, we went and picked him back up. Correct. I wasn't paying attention. >> Don't worry about it. It's okay. Um, >> he was getting in the car. We're going to the beach. We're doing something something something. So, we go to the beach. He's still going on. And I can't control my temper. I can't. So, it's just one thing after another. So, I'm maybe I'm the wrong. I don't know. >> Okay. Well, you haven't told me anything that happened tonight other than the fact that you guys were arguing. Did he beat the me going over the bridge? I don't know what you said. >> Okay. Okay. Well, you you didn't you didn't tell me that. >> The officers [music] pieced together the seating arrangement. Boyfriend driving, friend in the front seat, child secured behind the driver and the girlfriend in the back. With that cleared up, they asked the woman to walk them through what she did during the drive. >> So, he just >> he kept be me from the bar beach from before the condo. So like like you pass the pier bar, you keep going down that way where the >> What do you mean by he was what do you mean by he was beating >> in the front seat just going and going going at me? >> Okay. Okay. What's this about you throwing stuff at him and you bit him and then you pulled the seat belt while the car is in motion? >> You pulled the seat belt choking him while the car is in motion. >> Yes. While he was also sitting there beating me in the face. Does he have the marks on >> Okay. Was this Yeah, he has marks on him as well. So that him be back at me and me pulling up forward. >> Okay. So >> I've already called y'all once. I've already literally called y'all before earlier. >> We're not worried about anything before. We're only worried about what happened when >> Okay. So what caused you to bite him? >> Sitting there. >> Okay. So that caused you to bite him. Okay. Well, I wasn't there. So I don't know how this took place. >> I don't even feel like I was there. I don't I don't know what took place first, what took place last, and what took place in >> my sat there this morning at 6:00 in the morning, went into a five and sixyear-old telling him I'm a nasty. >> It's just been going on all day. I have it recorded. If he went and busted if I can find Will you allow me to find my phone, will you please allow me to find my phone so I can show you? >> Based off of what you have in your hand, I don't think the phone's going to work. >> I don't know why. >> I don't know. Ask these guys them. >> Y I can't be OP. I have three little girls. I I asked him to leave today. >> Listen. Listen. We did. Nobody said you were going to jail. And >> I have three little girls. I take care of the elderly. >> As things begin to unfold, one officer catches up with his colleague with everything gathered up to this point. So, so she's saying that he was already hitting her and that's what caused her to bite him and then he's still hitting her. So, she pulls a seat belt. >> When you Hey, we're not shouting across the roadway. >> So, can I show you the videos? Just sit still in the car. >> Just sit still and quiet. Okay. >> Please just let me show you. Come here. Get in my car. >> Please let me show you. He was packing up and leaving earlier today and he got in the car and he came with me and Natalie here. I haven't left a thousand times. I can show you a month ago where I went and stayed at Navar Beach because he was beating the >> So why haven't you stayed away from me? >> I CAN'T BECAUSE I'M financially dependent. It's a man. It's life, bro. >> I need you to bring it down. I don't need you to be shouting. Okay. I apologize. >> I just need you to be real with me, okay? I'm sure you know where it'll go. I'm probably already there. All right. >> How did she get injured? >> Uh, that was when she was choking me with >> I swear. >> She threw the books there, tossed her around the back seat. She's done with the whole everything else while >> we had um the >> too much fun at >> Was or whatever. We didn't even make it. We went in there. They wouldn't serve her alcohol and um so where we all before >> we we just we that first place we stopped at was she'd been drinking all day. At the house at the house. Yes, ma'am. >> Look that way for me. >> So this >> Well, I know you said she's throwing books at you so it would hit here. Are they on the floor or in the front of the car? Um, they're probably in the right there in the back or I'm not sure. >> All right, we'll just hang out right here. >> With each party blaming the other for starting the altercation, the officers now have to sort through conflicting accounts to figure out whose story holds up. >> So, he's sitting driver's side. >> He's he's driving. >> Old lady sitting up front next to him. Baby behind him. She's sitting >> passenger side. >> Back passenger. Yeah. So she reached over and grabbed this thing and she's got a bruise where on the right side of the face. >> He said he when she was choking him with the seat belt >> driving. I can understand that. >> He reached back and hit her in the face to get her to stop. >> Yeah. He actually hit her on the right side. >> Well, I mean if she's leaned over grabbing the seat belt, he's going to have access to the right side of her face. >> He's got he's got marks on him. >> Huh? >> Does he have marks on him? >> He's got a bite mark on his arm and marks right here. >> Joe, come on, man. I mean, unless the old lady says something different, >> like she said that she was fighting extremely defensive. Why would you make that jail? >> Normally very good driver asked him to drive instead of her >> with conflicting stories and no hard evidence. The only thing guiding the officers now is the elderly witness's calm and unbiased account. >> Very specific. When she grabbed the seat belt, what did he do after driving erratically? Probably >> Well, I mean, he he maintained his composure. >> Did he push him off of her or did she Did he push her off of him or did he hit her? Did he >> No, no, no, no. He maintained composure. Yes, sir. I'm sorry. >> No, you're fine. It's okay. So, here here's the thing. He told me that he hit her. So, let me >> But if we did, I apologize. >> No, it's okay. So, here's what I'm guessing. What happened? >> Yes, ma'am. >> You were very stressed about what was going on. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Very stressed. So much that maybe you didn't see or understand everything that was going on. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Is that fair? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All I knew is that, you know, there was commotion going on. She was throwing things. >> You can have this back. >> I don't think she saw the seat belt. I don't think she saw the seat belt. She's in a driver's side. She's in a faster bag seat. So, she probably >> all I knew is things were coming towards us and I told her not to be throwing things. >> So, I know you told me before she was throwing stuff. >> Yes, ma'am. >> And then she grabbed the seat belt. >> Yes, she grabbed his seat belt. >> Did you see her bite him at any point? >> She said that he bit her. Yes. She said he bit her. >> Yes. >> Okay. >> I think he bit her. >> Um Oh my god. I don't know where. >> Okay. Well, she bit him right here on his arm. >> Okay. Yes. Yes, ma'am. >> So, but >> Okay. >> All righty. Ms first. >> Hey, come here. >> Oh, yes, ma'am. I'm sorry. Oh, not you would hurt. >> Oh, I'm sorry. Yes, ma'am. >> Hey, do you need EMS to come check you out? >> Okay. >> She refuses help from medics, leaving the officers to not only take her into custody, but also quickly figure out a safe solution for the child. >> Yours, baby. >> Huh? >> She doesn't have a dad. So if you call her, you're going to have to put her in the system tonight. >> Okay. Has he not been there for her since she was born? >> Oh, he was the one that was there and he's the one on reverse took it. No. >> Okay. I just asked you, has he not been there since she was born? And then you said no. Yes, he was. >> What's her What's her name? She's going to be upset, but I got to get you to step out of here in the light so I can see your face. So, where did you get hit or something? Right there. >> And you don't need EMS. >> All right. [crying] Hands up. >> She's going to go with him. Unless you're you've got a mom or some other family member that you want to come get her. >> That's where we're at. >> You're going to pick her up. Take her. >> He can't take her. >> You're the only one that has You have 100% custody of the child. >> He can't take her. >> He can take her if you want her to. >> I NEED HIM TO TAKE HER. >> OKAY. >> Good lord. Come on. Please. >> Come on. I'm saying he can't take her from you. >> Oh, yeah. >> Battery strike. Battery strike. >> Battery domestic violence for battery strike or >> battery domestic violence. >> Okay. So, I can I can bond now. >> So, you have to be on a VIP first tomorrow. Yeah. >> $100 bond. She all be okay. >> Up close, the male officer notices something troubling about the suspect that hadn't been clear before. [snorts] >> How much How much have you had a drink? >> Uh, not much. >> Apparently, you've been drinking all day. >> No, that guy that's sat there. So, can I Y'all still have yet to let me You know that I called 911 earlier today. Correct. >> We understand. >> Have no clue. I wasn't here. No, you don't. >> No, we understand. But we're going off of what happened now. Okay. >> Absolutely. >> It's all right. I got an attorney. >> Okay. >> All right. I got an attorney. >> Okay. >> It's okay. I know it's okay. >> 132. Your case number is 321. 3218. You want it? >> She's going to see the judge in the morning. She obviously needs to go through counseling. She said she wanted you to take her child. >> So, that's where we're at. Okay. >> Okay. Not like take her child. Okay. She's got 100% custody. Do you have any other injuries on you? [snorts] >> Can you lift your shirt up for me so I can check your neck? cuz there's like scratch marks and stuff right here. So, because she started this fight, she's the primary aggressor. >> It's already done. >> So, that's why she goes to jail >> and it's extremely dangerous because he's driving. There's a child in the car. >> The woman was ultimately charged with battery, child neglect, and domestic violence. What do you think? Did they get what they deserved? Let me know in the comments and I'll catch you in the next
