We all have bad days, but these Karens decided to make theirs everyone else's problem. Here are five cases when entitled Karens act tough with no-nonsense cops and instantly get arrested. Number five. Police respond after woman causes chaos at local park. On June 30th, 2025, officers were dispatched to a local park after reports [music] of an intoxicated woman allegedly swinging a tire iron at nearby [music] park-goers. The situation is far from calm when officers arrive. >> Ma'am, turn off the car. >> It's already off. May I find out why? Yeah. >> You want to step out? >> I drove >> You want to come this way for me? >> Okay. >> All the way to the social kitchen. You can just tell me. Go that way. Go that way. >> It's a >> Go that way. 47 Go ahead and stand right here, ma'am. Go ahead and stand right here. Go ahead. You can You can face me. It's okay. Officer Ruiz, I'm with the Farmington Police Department. The reason we're contacting you today, ma'am, is because we're we're called here for a possible fight. They said that a girl was had some wrenches in her hand and was chasing someone with it. >> Of course I'm chasing I was laying in the back of my >> this is this is the information that we got. >> guy sitting next to children and I thought it was uncomfortable. >> Okay. So that's just the information we got, okay? And then I approach you, there's a odor of alcohol coming from the car. Your eyes are are watery. And then there's an open container in your door pocket. Okay? Um >> Am I getting arrested for this? >> So what happened with the fight? >> I literally pulled up, there was a guy sitting there with all the kids. I thought it was kind of creepy. >> Okay. >> Dealt with that incident before. I didn't know what the situation was. >> Okay. >> I thought it was weird that a grown guy was sitting there watching the little kids play. That that that's literally all it was. And then he started coming at me and I started screaming at him. >> According to her, she stepped in to defend the children, but what the victims describe paints a far more troubling picture. >> Okay. >> Did you guys see what happened? >> Yeah, we were we pulled up we parked here. We were parked here for How long were we here? >> At least 10 minutes. >> Yeah, about 10. And my kids got off with my niece. They were playing over there. She pulls up. >> She hit the curb? >> Yeah, she hit the curb pretty hard. >> Show me where she pulled up. >> Just right next to this right here next to the >> In between? >> Yeah, this is right here, yeah. >> Okay. >> And then she was talking to that on the street cuz I was watching my little nephews and my cousins and stuff. And while she was in the car, this truck right here >> Yeah. >> And I said, "I mean, it's like, what the heck?" She was all, "I'm going to pull up next to someone who can watch her own kids and all that stuff." And I didn't instigate nothing and so >> She was on the phone? >> Oh, yeah, she seemed like I don't know if she was talking to the radio or I don't know. And then Yeah, then I don't know where she pulled out of. It was uh >> She was driving? >> It was iron match and stuff and I was like I went around this way. I was all, "What the heck, man?" And then I came back this way. She got back in. She was all, "No wonder why you made us non-existent in this world." And all that stuff, you know? I was like, "What the heck?" >> You guys don't exist? >> That's what she said. >> Like, well >> But yeah, you guys are here. >> Yeah, so >> Okay. Okay. >> I was kind of laughing. She was just all like, "No wonder why No wonder why this and that." >> Okay. Did she threaten to hit anybody? >> Yeah, she threatened to hit me. >> What? >> And she tried to fight me, too. >> Yeah, she's underage. She's underage and the reason why she got into it was cuz she's over here like disrespecting me and I didn't say nothing back to her, you know? And then she's over here like, "No, what the heck?" >> And I was like, "What are you" >> She called me creep and all that, even though this is like my family right here, you know? We just came to play volleyball. >> Okay. >> The statement suggests she acted without being provoked. Even so, officers turned to her to hear how she defends her actions. >> I didn't know that he was >> Ma'am, I >> related to the people in >> All right. All right. >> I I had an open container that was from 3 weeks ago. 3 weeks. That was not from today. I've not drank today. >> Why would someone call and say that there was that there was a female chasing a male with a tire iron? >> sat in my car the whole time. I don't know what they mean. >> got out of your car? >> No. I never even opened my door. Well, that's That's a lie. I opened my door to turn off my warning lights on the car. >> Okay. >> I never got out of my car. >> Okay. >> I I did have a tire iron. I do have a baseball bat, and I do have mace in that driver's door. >> Okay. >> I'm a small white plain now, and a Navajo kind of situation in the area, so I do have mace. >> Okay. Uh >> I have things to protect myself cuz I am not okay with having the mace. >> display any of those as a weapon at any point? >> No. >> Okay. >> I told them I have a tire iron, but I never displayed it. >> Okay. >> I told him if he gets into my car, I'm going to [ __ ] hit him with the tire iron cuz he got real close to my driver's door. >> Okay. >> And I got kind of freaked out, so I did grab it, but I didn't show it. And like I said, I I saw a male with a bunch of female kids. I got kind of concerned. I've dealt with a lot. I've been through a lot. I'm going through a lot. So, I I didn't trust them. >> Okay. >> And then he started trying to fight me, so I started trying to fight him. >> Okay. What do you mean by that? >> Um yelling at him. >> Rather than reconsider, she doubles down. And when officers press her on her reasoning, her answer raises eyebrows. >> Do you have any relation to any of them? >> No. I don't know any of these people. I just saw a weird man acting strange and like messing with his groin area yelling with a whole bunch of kids in the area. >> Okay. >> So I found it kind of weird. >> Okay. It was a verbal thing? >> Yeah. >> Did it get physical at any point? >> No. >> Did you push him off your car or anything? >> No. >> Did he push you into the car or try to get you out of the car? >> No. >> Okay. >> It was literally just a verbal thing with me like, "Hey, you're kind of being a piece I didn't know he was related to the family. >> And why didn't you call us? >> Uh I didn't think this was something serious. My dad slammed my head into a wall and I didn't think that was serious. I tend to fight. I tend to yell. I do not get actively involved. My therapist can tell you that. >> As far as alcohol, uh how long ago was the last you drank alcohol? >> This morning at like 3:00 a.m. >> Okay. This morning at 3:00 a.m.? >> Yeah. >> What was it? >> Uh 99. I think it was a cherry limeade. Why does that matter? >> It was a cherry limeade you said? >> Yeah. Why does that matter? >> Um that matters because of the um open container that it's on inside of the vehicle. Um along with the uh watery eyes that you have um during the time that we've been here we've been here. They got a little red. >> depressed? I I have watery eyes. I have >> and I don't know that, right? I don't know you Um obviously. >> I'm always crying, that's why. >> Okay. And then as far as your education, I know this sounds like a silly question. What's your highest level of education? >> 8th grade. >> 8th grade, okay. Um do you know how to count from 1 to 100? >> Yeah, kind of. >> Kind of what, yeah? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Do you know how to count from 100 to 1? >> No, I don't know how to >> Do you know your ABCs from A to Z? >> Yes. >> Okay. With the victim's statements in mind, officers begin assessing whether she's under the influence and what they observe raises even more concern. >> So we're going to do some tests, make sure that you're okay to drive, okay? Just basically again, like I said, based off the alcohol I was in the car. >> You don't want to do >> Yeah, we got alternative We got alternative tests that don't require you to walk or stand on >> leg and a messed up hip. >> Yes, ma'am. >> Okay. Military, that's why. >> And then hands out to your side. To your side, there you go. All right, and don't move from that position until I tell you to do so, okay? >> Okay. >> Now, do you wear contacts or glasses? >> No, I wear glasses. >> You wear glasses? What do you wear glasses for? >> Um everything. >> Okay. How come you don't have them with you? >> Cuz I look like a librarian. >> All right, so I just need you to follow the tip of my finger using your eyes and your eyes only without moving your head. Do you understand? >> Yep. >> Okay. Follow my finger to here. Don't move your head. >> Sorry, my bad. >> Over here. My finger. >> I can't see that far. >> Ma'am, you're not even following it right now. >> No, I can't. It's that's that's This is where my sight >> Okay, so you're not even looking up. You're literally looking Your Your eyes are fixed on an object behind me. >> I know. I can't see beyond >> All right, for this next test we're going to do is going to be a walk and turn test. >> It was It was nine turn around, right? >> Just the way I instructed you, ma'am. >> I can't remember the instructions. And one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 >> 10 13 >> 13 >> Mhm, I'm sorry. Right knee. Can we change knees? >> Keep going till I tell you to stop. >> Yes, sir. >> Give me your other side. Okay, you can stop. All righty, ma'am. Do you have any questions? >> No. 1 2 3 4 4 >> How many was that? >> 1 2 3 4 4 3 2 Four at least. >> Okay, how many did I tell you to do? >> Four. >> Okay, and are you done? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> After failing the field tests and what the attempted assault already documented, officers move forward, but the suspect doesn't stay quiet. >> All righty, ma'am. So, at this time you're going to be placed under arrest for DWI. >> Why? Why am I being placed under arrest? >> Ma'am, I just told you. >> I literally did your test. >> I know. >> No. So, why am I being placed under arrest? >> under arrest for DWI, ma'am. >> Why? >> and go this way. >> I literally did what you told me to do. >> I know you did. >> So, then why am I being arrested? >> For DWI. >> No. NO. NO. NO. NO. If I literally did >> pulling back, I'm going to charge you with resisting. >> If I literally did what you said, why am I being under arrest? >> Ma'am, you smell very strongly of alcohol. >> Yeah, I already told you that. >> smells very strongly of alcohol. You have a difficult time uh doing >> I have an injury. >> divided attention tasks. Go ahead and spread your stance. >> No. >> Widen your stance, ma'am. >> No. No, let go of me. No. Do you do that on your own this? >> No, watch you. Okay, don't touch my fingers. Don't grab me in any way. >> I'm not going to touch you in any way. >> You don't have a choice, buddy. You want to take a hit of the camera? >> I will be. >> My thumb toward you and my palm facing away from you. You just threatened to bite ME. >> YEAH, I DID. >> JESUS CHRIST. >> WHAT? >> Just when it seems things can't escalate [music] further, the suspect makes one unexpected move. >> You guys are No wonder nobody in Portland can [ __ ] trust you. >> You want to take a seat, miss? >> I will be. >> Take a seat. >> Take these off of me. Number four, Karen tries to intimidate her way out of a stop. Doesn't work. On July 13th, 2025, officers on patrol received reports of a vehicle possibly being driven by someone under the influence. After locating the car and following it briefly, they decide to initiate the stop. >> You're going to crash into that. >> Yeah, he is. >> Hello. Hi, I'm Officer Harris of the Essex Police Department. Reason why I'm pulling you over is because you were swerving pretty heavily back there. You went on and off the roadway a couple times. Is there a reason for that? >> Not really. >> Not really? Do you have your license on you? Thank you. Marissa? >> Yeah. >> Have you been drinking at all, Marissa? >> No. >> No? You haven't been drinking? All right. Well, so brief somebody called you and said you were swerving all over the road. When you passed me, you were swerving all over the road. Can I get you to step out of the vehicle for me, please? >> Yes. >> Thank you. Where are you coming from? >> Uh just from the lake. >> The lake? Okay. So, you haven't had any drinks or anything like that? >> No. >> Nothing today? Okay. Um would you be willing to do some standardized field sobriety testing for me? >> Uh I guess. >> Yeah. I'll have you stand away from the wind. So, if you face this way, I'll face I'll face the direction you're facing, so the wind's not blowing in your face. You see the tip of my finger? Just follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Don't move your head, okay? All right. The wind. >> Left to right. >> No, with your eyes. Don't turn your head, okay? You're turning your head. Follow the tip of my finger with your eyes and your eyes only. Tip of my finger. Okay. >> She firmly denies having anything to drink, but the field sobriety tests begin telling a different story. >> Keep following it. You keep looking back at me. Put your right foot in front of your left toe to where your right heel is touching your left toe. Just like me. Go ahead and do that. Okay. Okay, hands flat down by your side. All right, don't move from this position till I tell you to. You're okay. All right. So, I'm going to I'm going to demonstrate and then you're going to do it, okay? How long ago? >> About an hour ago. >> About an hour ago? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> to do one last test? It's blowing into a portable breath test. >> No. >> Why don't you want to do that? >> All right. I'll go back to work tomorrow. >> So, from zero to 10? >> Zero is to seven. >> You feel like you're a seven right now? >> Yeah. >> Calling yourself a seven might have sounded harmless to her, but to the officers, it's the final piece falling into place. >> All right, so Marissa, right now I'm going to place you under arrest for DWI, okay? Don't Don't Marissa, stop. >> Stop, come on. >> Marissa, stop. You don't want to catch resisting charges, do you? Marissa, stop. Marissa, stop. >> Marissa, what? Wow. Okay, cool. I'm going to be careful with this driving. >> The encounter leaves her with multiple charges, including DWI, reckless driving, and resisting arrest without violence. Number three. This woman thought she knew the law better than the cops. On August 28th, 2025, officers on patrol noticed a vehicle with heavily tinted windows and a license plate that was nearly unreadable. Here's what unfolded during the traffic stop. >> Hey, good morning. How are you? I'm Officer Sickle, that police. Reason I pulled you over is cuz of window tint and there's not a readable license plate that's in the back. So, that one that's in the back window over here, you can't read it. It's got to be affixed to the back of the vehicle. Well, yeah, you can read it once you're up on it, but the state of Ohio's law requires that it's affixed to the back of the vehicle where the plate's supposed to go. It can't be obstructed through the tinted window, okay? >> Well, that's not what I was told. >> Okay, I can write you the cite and you can argue it in court if you'd like to. Okay. Are you the registered owner of the vehicle? Do you have a valid driver's license? Do you have insurance on the vehicle? >> No, it's not mine. >> Okay, do you have insurance for you as a person? Where are you headed to this morning? >> Work. >> Where's work? >> Downtown. >> Where are you coming from? >> North of downtown. >> All right, while you look for that, I'll be right back. >> It doesn't take long for officers to find an issue that raises the stakes, and the suspect clearly isn't happy about it. >> All right, it you're suspended since it it looks like it looks like you're found about a year ago that you've been suspended. Okay, you are suspended, so I need you to shut the vehicle off for me. Put your hands up on the steering wheel. >> Why are you opening my car door? >> Because you're getting out of the vehicle. >> Why are you opening my door? >> Because you are under arrest, okay? >> For what? What did you arrest me for? >> Driving under suspension. >> Okay, I didn't know I was suspended. >> Give me your left hand. >> I didn't know I was suspended. >> left hand. >> They're arresting me out in the parent. >> All right, step out. >> Yeah, cuz I did I didn't know it was My license was suspended. >> Step out. >> Can you please call my job and call James? >> Can you please step out? CAN YOU please >> Stop. Now. >> I'm telling you you are hurting me. What are you doing like I used TO ELLIE, PLEASE CALL MY MOM MOM. >> All right, let's walk back to the car. You have now have You now You now You now have another charge of obstructing, okay? >> Obstructing how? And I'm pretty sure you looked up his kid name and that's the reason you [ __ ] pull me over. >> Now secured in the backseat, she fills the silence with a stream of excuses, each one distancing herself further from accountability. >> I'm calling hell you out to keep calling on a I'm calling I'm just being real. >> You don't do what you want. >> I do. I definitely All y'all do is harm force. Y'all have enough cases on y'all hands to be aggressive with somebody like that. Be for real. Y'all acting cops be too [ __ ] cocky for me. Can't do what you want. It's I can by law. Like for real, do you not know your rights, love? Like come on now. >> No, your rights ended when when you are a suspended driver and you're operating a vehicle on the street. >> Turning not to love. Thank you very much. Thank you very much. >> If you're going to keep making a >> I would like to talk to my attorney, not you. >> I'm not asking you any questions. >> Leave me alone. Stop talking to me then. Stop talking. Period. I don't want to hear your voice. Going through my car. You're not even allowed to go through my [ __ ] car, bro. I guess you're breaking so many of my rights. This is crazy. I literally done paid Oh [snorts] my god, this crazy. Every time I turn around, y'all trying to get some money out of us. I just paid my insurance and turned it in to the BMW. Like, are you kidding me? >> Officers break the news to our friends once they arrive. Yet, she continues taking shots at law [music] enforcement even from the sidelines. >> No. We have to tow it. >> Why? >> Because she's driving with a suspended license. >> So, it has to be towed no matter what? >> Yeah. >> She has to go to jail? >> Yes, because she resisted. >> Okay. >> So, when she was lawfully ordered to exit the vehicle, she refused to. >> Well, can I at least get her boyfriend's number so I can tell her where the car is? >> not going to let you use her phone. Sorry, man. >> Not her phone, her Give me >> No, we're not going to let you guys talk to her just because of how she's acting now. >> Okay. >> We We could have made this real simple and real easy. Had she would have got a ticket, we would have towed the car, and we probably would have sent her on her way. >> her boyfriend so I can >> She'll be able to call him. Who Who's the car registered to? >> Uh it's either her boyfriend or her. >> If it's to her If it's to her, she's the only one that can get it. >> I'm pretty sure it's her boyfriend cuz uh he had this up for a while. >> Okay. All right. Yeah. No, she'll be able to get a hold of him once she gets in and we'll let him know everything that's >> Okay. So, so she's getting taken to the county? >> Yeah. Yeah. I guess uh well, I'll figure it out. >> All right, guys. >> He turned my phone off. Why? >> I didn't. >> He did. Why? >> Uh I'm not too sure. >> Can you ask him to turn it back on? >> No, you're under arrest. >> Okay, that doesn't make no difference. I'm allowed to make a phone call. Like, what? >> allowed to. >> But, I am. >> You are not. >> But, I am. Like, what? Is it my right that I'm at least allowed to make one phone call? Like, what the heck? I'm not watching YouTube. I'm pretty sure y'all didn't read y'all Y'all get through a [ __ ] fast training. Shoot to kill, right? >> [laughter] >> A short while later, her boyfriend arrives on scene and officers waste no time filling him in on what's happened. >> Long time no see, the law, baby. I know a lot. >> Resisted what, officer? >> Look, man. >> I'm not trying to give y'all a hard time. I'm at work and I They got to go. >> Okay, so here's what happened. Okay, the the defense I didn't know is not a defense. >> Okay. >> You You know No, no, no. It's not that. >> No, no, no. I'm saying, but that's what she tried to tell us. We gave her multiple lawful commands to exit the vehicle. She ignored us, so she's being arrested for obstruction. >> Okay. >> She's being sent to the county. Unfortunately, we have to tow your car. >> You You can't tow I mean, you can, but I'm saying you don't have to tow it, man. >> You're >> I got to I got my license and >> Listen, you got to talk to him. Okay? >> Okay, I got I got to get back to work. >> No, I understand you got to talk to him, but as of right now, your Your is being towed, okay? Can I help you, sir? >> How you doing, sir? My name is James Vargas. I'm the owner of this vehicle, sir. >> How are you? >> All right. I heard my girl got arrested for uh trying to explain to the officer. We've been having this problem with Stow for a minute. Now, see every time she pay it I pay I pays it and always seem to come back maybe a month later or week later, 2 weeks later uh she got her license suspended. How does this just keep I don't know why Stow keep doing this. >> Okay, that's something that you have to take up with She has to take up with Stow. >> And we been. I promise you we have, man. And it's becoming a headache. >> This doesn't have anything to do with Stow. It has something to do with the state of Ohio. They mailed her a piece of paper asking for her financial responsibility and she never responded to the financial responsibility. That is why she is suspended. It has nothing to do with the city of Stow. >> Well, see we we paying I'm paying the the the Stow court for the >> You might be paying the Stow court, but the suspension is not under Stow court. It's under It's under the state of Ohio. >> With each detail officer share, it becomes clear that her own defiance is what brought them here. >> He's got it back here in this cruiser, the other cruiser. >> Is there any way that I can just take my vehicle? >> There's nothing We we have everything in motion here. You can't show up after the fact. If this would have been a simple pay you don't have a driver's license, please call the valid driver that is the owner, you you come here and grab the vehicle. I more than more than willingly would have given the vehicle to you. She has another offense of obstructing official business because she did not fail or she failed to listen to multiple lawful commands to get out of the vehicle and once she got out of the vehicle she resisted in us putting in the handcuffs into her. Uh Elena, that's not your time to do things. >> babe. Stop. >> Like, come on now. >> Stop, babe. >> So, she is going to jail and the vehicle is being towed. Um and that is that is how we're going to conduct the business today. Are you Are you the owner You're the owner of the vehicle? >> man. >> You can go down to the to the police department. You are the only person that's allowed to get this vehicle out of tow. [clears throat] It's going to I think that's Johnny's Towing. You'll go down there, get the release, and then go be able to go pick the car up at Johnny's. That is the process that we're we're following. >> May I need you to call my job? They going to take me to jail. Cuz he's mad cuz I didn't get out the car. >> Can I get her out of jail today? >> That's going to be something that you're going to have to call the Sumter County Jail on. We I don't I don't know how their how their stuff works. >> For a traffic violation there? >> No, it's not a traffic violation. I mean, she's getting cited for the traffic violation. That's what this piece of paper is. But the other piece of paper this this is for This is for obstructing. >> Despite the position she's in, she doesn't ease up or admit fault. It takes her partner stepping in to finally shift the tone. >> Out the vehicle. Now I'm obstructing arrest. Like be for real. You literally pulled me out the car. Like you Like come on now. Can you please call my attorney, too? Can you please call my attorney and my job because this is ridiculous. He pulled me out the car talking about I'm a resisting arrest. I need my attorney and I need you to call my [ __ ] job. Both of my jobs. I'm telling you my hand is going numb and I can't feel it. Can you please loosen this up? I can't feel my hand, baby. [ __ ] I literally cannot feel it. Oh my god, this is crazy. >> [snorts] >> This is crazy. If I have to go to the hospital because of this, I swear to god I'll burn. I can't feel my hand, baby. I literally can't. >> The guy is here. They going to take the They going to loosen it right now. They here. They right behind you, all right? Now calm down. Calm down. Calm down and listen to me. Calm down. No more. No more. >> In the end, the suspect was charged [music] with driving under a suspended license, obstruction, and resisting arrest without violence. Number two. This road rage incident went way too far. On October 31st, 2025, officers were dispatched to a road rage call after reports that one [music] driver had begun using pepper spray on others during the confrontation. Here's what happened next when the officers arrived at the scene. >> We have EMS responding. >> Whatever she sprayed is that. >> All over my glasses. It's burning my face, my mouth. >> Hold on. Did it come out of a bottle or >> It looked like it looked like >> A squirt gun, okay. Were they like dressed up and >> She Yes, she was wearing weird clothes. >> Like a Halloween costume? >> Yeah, I don't know what everybody else was wearing. I only saw her, but she she was apparently following and screaming at my friend. So, she said, "Hey, there's a guy >> them? >> No, but my friend she said, "Hey, there's somebody screaming and fighting with they're pointing a gun at me. I'll be there in a minute." I said, "I'll be out front." >> Okay. >> So, I I was standing on the porch, staying out of it. My friend pulled up, the lady came out of the street, you you and then turned around and came back and she stopped here and kept screaming at her. >> Okay. >> So, my friend was filming it, so I walked over calmly and I said, "Ma'am I said I said, "Ma'am, you need to relax. Stop screaming at people." I said, "Road rage is a bad idea." She started shooting me in the face with a squirt gun. I flicked a cigarette at her and ran. Well, I didn't run. I ran around blocking her from 911 and gave the police my address. >> So, also your neighbor? I understand, but did the did the uh suspect also shoot your neighbor? >> No, my friend. She went up like with the to try to film it and she started shooting at her. Her face is burning. I'm lucky I had the glasses, but now they're probably ruined. I need them. >> Yeah, do you have an ID also? >> Yes, ma'am. >> So, she So, he sprayed her or you first? >> Okay. So, she was out here >> My friend came here. >> Right. >> Got out of her car with her dog and was walking towards there. This lady pulled in Well, she went by her cuz I saw her. She said it was I said the white SUV. She said, "Yeah." A minute later, she pulled in down the road yelling out of And then she turned around and came back and stopped and sitting out the window she kept giving the finger and pointing pointing. Then she put the window down started screaming. So, that's when I came out of the porch. I literally calmly walked up and said, "Ma'am, you need to stop screaming. You need to just move along." I said, "Ma'am, road rage is a bad idea." And she started squirting it into my face. I was probably this far from the window. So, I just squirted it. I went >> Okay. >> Flicked my cigarette and took off behind the car and called 911. >> Okay. >> The caller turns out to be another victim who claims they were only trying to calm things down. But officers now need to hear from the person who was first targeted. >> And then you They already have the vehicle pulled over? >> I If you knew how she was dressed, I assume you did. >> So. >> I want to press charges of whatever the charge is of shooting me in the face with a caustic acid. >> Yeah. >> That's pretty That's like I don't know if how thermic I mean >> It's It's a crime. >> So, yeah. Yeah. And um yeah, it helps that we already have them >> know if it's assault, if battery, if it's attempt. I don't know, but >> It's definitely battery because she shot you with it. >> And what what appeared to be a gun? Spraying what looked like a gun at me and fired. >> When you say When you say appeared to look like a gun, was it like black in color? What color was it? >> it was red. >> Red? Okay. >> looked plastic. Like a toy spray bottle. >> Yeah. I thought it was water at first and then it started to burn. >> Right. I understand. Okay. Yeah, I'm not sure what it was. It could have been some sort of like pepper spray maybe. >> Well, it wasn't under pressure. Pepper spray is an is an aerosol. >> No, I know, but you never know. They could have sprayed it with it. I'm just saying. >> Whatever that brown was and whatever it did that to the surface of my glasses, which those are expensive. Those are my Those are my That's where my sunglasses are now. >> Yep. >> I know, it's not I'm just >> No, it's It should not happen. I I completely understand. Okay, just quickly go through what happened today from start to end. >> I was driving I was driving here from my house. Um traffic's already bad. I mean, the the the traffic's been bad since today. Just Um she uh I don't know if she tried cutting me off. Or she did cut me off. But uh Uh she was following me. I have it on recording. She was threatening me. Um She tried running me off the road. She did, I think, at one point run me off the road, I think, at an intersection at the lights back here. Um I I got to my destination, >> [snorts] >> and she drove past, and then she came back, and she was trying to threaten to get out, like, >> The victim is visibly shaken from the encounter, and as she recounts what happened, the details grow more troubling by the minute. >> So, I approached the vehicle, and she squirted she sprayed something at me with like a like a squirt gun. >> Was she saying anything to you when this happened about why? >> Uh she uh she was calling me. She was calling me a [ __ ] She was uh ta she was So, she was just threatening to fight me. She wanted to fight me. She uh I mean, it's on the recording. I don't know what she was saying. I I hope it is, anyway. But Yeah, yeah, she I just from what she I just she was threatening to shoot me at one point, and she did. Um Those are Come on. I mean, that's that's that's really it. It's just road rage. >> Okay. >> It was just road rage, and she's she's That's all right. Do you wish to add change or delete anything from the statement you just given me? No. No, that's the best of my knowledge. That's what happened. I I I don't understand why. So it is going to hurt for a little bit, okay? Make sure you're facing the air. Okay? So No, face her face towards me. You got to face towards the air cuz that's what's going to help open all your pores and try to get everything out faster, okay? Warm. >> 145 108 >> This soap kind of water like baby soap. A little bit. Not a lot. Okay? And that will help, okay? Let's Don't Don't Just breathe. Breathe, okay? Cuz it will make you hyperventilate. It will make it really bad when you can't feel like you can breathe. >> [clears throat] >> Okay? All right, it will it will go away. It takes time. Okay. When you take a shower, don't stand straight up. That stuff goes straight down. You get what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. Sorry, you understand? When you shower, don't stand straight up. >> Officers wrap up with the victims, providing advice to help them move forward. At the same time, another unit finally makes contact with the suspect. >> It goes down. >> You let it. >> Cuz if it goes down, you know where it's going and it's not going to and it's going to get a second you're going to get a second hit of it down there, okay? So lean forward over it, okay? If you have a fan, sit in front of a fan. It will help open everything up and get it out. Okay. >> Because she I wanted to tell you she clipped my car as we were driving. She got into a turn lane to cut me off and clipped the car. So I wanted to pull over and get her information cuz she wouldn't pull over. So I did. I followed her to where she pulled in and I said, "You clipped my car." I said, "I need your information." And she said her to her dog, "Dozer, to get up here." Did this to my car and had the dog jump up here. And then she was leaning into my car. So, I got my father walked up to my car and said to get out of here before he takes care of me. And then she started kicking the side of the car. >> Okay, do me a favor just for right now. Step out of the vehicle and let me have you stand back over on the grass over here, right? Don't get the cell phone out. >> wanted to get her done. So, I pulled out from that area. >> So, who's the other Who's this girl? Is it the girl that supposedly sideswiped you? >> The girl, she was back here. I felt what felt like she hit the side of the vehicle because she literally got into a turn lane that she should not have been on >> Yeah. >> And she literally swiped me out of the road where I almost hit another car. So, I thought she hit the car. I wanted to get her information cuz I thought we had touched because she did. She She got so super close. Either my car shook for me having to hit my brakes >> So, where where were you at when he she allegedly hit the car? Like, were you driving? >> Right by Right by McDonald's. We were coming up in that area, right by Key Agency. >> Key Agency was on Beach Road? >> Mhm. So, not Beach Road, but coming from Venice. I'm coming from work. >> So, coming from Venice down 776? So, that's past Beach Road. That's Beach Road right down the street. Okay. >> I wasn't on Beach Road. >> Okay. >> The suspect lays out her side of what happened. Yet, the explanation she gives already sounds questionable. >> And you felt Was she >> I thought that she hit the car. So, I wanted to get information cuz I wasn't going to just let her get away with it if she did. This is my mom's car. My car is getting the brakes worked on, so my mom let me use her car to take it to work today. >> Okay. What's going on with your hand? You need EMS? me. >> that's just me when I was telling her that she needed to pull over I hit it on the side of my car by the window cuz I popped my hand back in cuz I told her to pull over cuz I thought she hit the car that we had bumped a little cuz she literally came over >> her so you saw her make contact >> her information and as soon as I did she walked up to my passenger side cuz I had the passenger window rolled down and she said "Dozer get in here. Dozer attack." So I grabbed my pepper spray and then she got leaned into my window telling the dog to attack to get into my car. Her dad walked up because he heard the commotion and he said "You need to get out of here before I take care of you." came up being acting violent. >> Well, why would you not just call us and let us handle it then you go up the street and talk to >> Blaine, sir. I grew up in this town. I know Blaine is. I know >> So tell so do I. So does Blaine. So do I. >> Right. But that's why I left because I wasn't about to get shot over somebody side swiping my mom's car or what I thought she had done because she got super close like I said. >> So in the future in the event of anything like that happening again, don't don't approach like that. Yeah, go up the street, get their tag information and let us know then just call us and let us know what happened. Okay? >> Like I said I got nervous like because her dad started >> Trust me I grew up in this town too. I know Blaine is like that's why we're here. That's why you call us. Okay? We're literally all right up the road. Okay? Do you have a driver's license on No, no, no. You're you're fine. >> Several of her claims don't match what officers already know and while she insists it was all the victim's fault they give her one more opportunity to be honest. >> All right, Dorothy. So give me a run down of this incident from beginning to end. Please be specific. Take your time. >> Starting at the beginning so it's probably roughly around anywhere between about 4:30 to 4:40 in that time period. I was coming >> 4:15 4:30 >> um from Venice um coming back over to I was on my way to go meet my friend to go ahead and make uh cupcakes for Halloween and >> my mom was going to pick up my daughter for me from daycare and drop her off over there and everything later. >> Okay. >> So, as I was driving, I was just driving going down the road. I had a female who came up on the side in a turn lane and basically veer over in front of me where I thought she had clipped the front of my mom's car. Either I had to hit my brakes so hard it made my car shake. >> made you think she You want to make you think she clipped it? What did you feel anything like that? >> I felt what felt like a douche. Not like a big one, but made contact. >> Some form of impact with your >> some form of con- contact, some form of impact that happened. So, I told her to pull over. She refused to pull over. She got out her phone, recorded me the entire time. I kept telling her to pull over, pull over. She flicked me off, I flicked her off. We had road rage little incident going back and forth. I did follow her to her residence where she pulled in and to where I went down two driveways down, pulled around, and everything cuz it was right there as you come off the turn. I didn't want the car to get hit. So, I went ahead, I turned two driveways down, I pulled in, turned out, pulled up to where she was at her stop, and I said, "You were You hit my car. You wanted to fight me." I said, "So, >> you pulled So, you pulled up >> I pulled up to It was a And it's the very first driveway is where she had pulled into a parking space. >> So, you guys were coming down you you guys had your little road rage incident with the fingers and everything after the apparent alleged >> Yes. >> possible contact. >> on the car. I wanted to get her >> And you followed her, she turned right into the to >> Despite her insistence that she's done nothing wrong, the officers are working with evidence that tells a very different story. >> turned [music] right into the driveway. Yes. >> Okay. So, she leaned in So, she leaned in >> She did. She leaned in all the way from chest like her her her in my car. >> Okay. >> She It was under the window seal was under. >> So, the fair to say that the entire top half of her torso was in the car? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> Yes. >> All right. So, what happened? >> From here up was all inside my passenger side. >> Okay. >> And as she did that, she got out from that vehicle. She was doing this like, "Ah!" And that's when her dad was Her dad was right here at my car. Cuz she was right here, and her dad was right here, and he went like this to start yelling at me as well. >> Okay. Okay. >> And from that incident with doing that, then her dad, he ran off back to the side and started taking pictures and doing all of that. She continued to tell the dog to attack me, and then that's when I drove off. I heard dad, I could also hear him saying that he was going to go ahead and take care of this, and he'd take care of me. So, with those types of forms of words being said, >> Was No, did you So, he said that after they both have been Narcaned? >> Yes. >> Okay, so he said that after both have been Narcaned, and you were already on your like making an attempt to drive away. >> to make a way attempt to drive away. >> Okay. Well, you sprayed her, and she was ki- kind of like face kicking the door. That's when It was at that point at that at that point. >> It started getting worse and burning, and then that's when she actually turned and went like this. And when she did that, that's when I took my chance to leave. >> All right, so nothing else you want to add, change, or delete from the from the statement? Is there anything that we talked about prior to this sworn statement that we have not talked about on this sworn statement that we want to talk about? >> Nope, we talked about everything that was discussed. >> Talked about everything, so there's nothing else that's pertinent to this incident or anything. Everything in detail has been discussed. >> Everything in detail >> Okay. >> Once they've heard everything they need, the officers move forward, ready to take the [music] next step and hold her accountable. >> All right. So, we're going to put the handcuffs on her back, you're going to be under arrest for battery times two. All right, put your hands together like you're praying, all right? Palms together? Palms together? Nope. There you go. Perfect. Too tight? >> Nope, you're good. >> Do you have anything in your bag right here? >> I have lollipops and a uh gift card. >> I'm just going to have to search your bag for you, okay? Too tight? >> No. >> Okay. >> Can I roll the window up to the car, guys? >> We'll take care of it. Yeah, we got that for you. No, he already took that off you. >> Do you have anything on your person or anything like that? >> All right. >> What was that? >> All right, so you're going to have to be searched before you get put in my car. >> Nope, never mind. >> Okay. >> The encounter ends with a woman getting charged with two counts of battery. Number one. British tourist learns the hard way Florida cops don't joke around. On February 3rd, 2026, officers in Key West, Florida were called to a local bar after reports of two people causing a disturbance.
