over $1100 worth of clothing and other merchandise the store's loss prevention team then confiscates the items and brings them up to calculate the total value of the goods the couple tried to steal in life always make her feel good about herself today we're coming up here so that way my girl can see her uh her son and cuz she ain't been able to see him her aunt has had custody of him for a while and this is going to be the first time she gets a seene for like years and I mean I do asphalt for living so you know and right now we're in between Seasons but I got to get my head on straight and buckle down and live a good life I mean the most peace I ever had in my life was living here with this woman you know it was just peaceful and you know truly genuinely I felt good and was happy you know and all I did was I stop smoking cigarettes and you know stop hanging out with the bad people and you know started really living my life for God and that's that's the big key man you got to you got to leave you got with a stolen merchandise valued at $146 the officers explained to the suspects what will happen next then we're going to tally up the totals there's your total what do you do with that um anything from about 81 Penny to $999.99 there a misdem or one anything over $1,000 is felony oh go she had $146 worth h so still both M ones one thing we do this is typically an arrest okay but we're not taking you to jail so that summons is like your it's like an arrest so we're going to do the same thing as we normally do as an arrest part of that is making sure you don't have anything you're not supposed to on you okay do any of you guys have anything you're not supposed to any kind of needles no paraphernalia anything like that okay well here's the thing so you use use the van for a commission of a crime so I can search the van that's why I'm asking is anything in there know not you know it all right so in case you didn't understand what was going on there we found some paraphernalia paraphernalia in the car it's where you were sitting so I'm going to ask you guys again who's is it and remember you are you know remember you're still uh you still been advis your right while the shoplifting incident concludes with just a citation the couple faces a far more serious problem as officers discover illegal paraphernalia and worse a firearm in the vehicle to complicate matters neither wants to take responsibility for the Contraband was hanging on black bag off your seat off my seat yep I don't know no clue this is hanging off of a off a bag off your wanting to confess the truth the officers decide to question them individually come out here come out here talk to me come out here and talk to me for a second so this is not our first day we know of illegal paraphernalia with intent to use number four mother gets mad at the police for catching her daughters who are shoping Li in coming up in Tampa Florida two female suspects were caught by Walmart's loss prevention concealing items in their purses but when they're called to the store security room their behavior is truly unexpected you guys got your IDs on you huh I'm on that's fine can outrun the police with a shopping cart full of stolen items in New Mexico officers were dispatched to a Walmart after reports of an active shoplifting incident watch as they monitor the suspects through the store's cameras be here so they were putting stuff into the back and then also took some price tags off some items that they had on these are always fun they're always running [ __ ] so firearm number one woman thinks she can get away with shoplifting twice on December 20th 2023 officers were called to a Walmart after reports of a woman attempting to shoplift I don't know we're going able to go home until the first you know what I mean I took off the last two weeks that was $98 in iser yeah it was Christmas Eve I pushed a whole card over before Christmas Eve I had no Christmas presents um they got all the merchandise that back that day like it see it's hard around H it was the same time it was the around this time last year you know it just has to be right before the days where we used to be able to take body slam people the store's loss prevention team no longer willing to give the suspect any more chances gives her a firm reality check so you've lost that trust in me so I don't want you I really love this store I know we do we love you as as a paying customer but as a non-paying customer I can't take that chance I can't afford it myself and same you know not every everybody's having a hard time too you got that are working you know 16 hour shifts just to make Christmas for the kids you know if it's that hard we got openings we have openings there's shobs all over the place you just made a bad choice and that bad choice just turn around B right so I'm going to put her in the system once I get done once you get done with your fun so is this going to be a charge or a citation I'm good Wendy are you I'm going to take her out there and we're going to do a citation okay oh my God thank you so much I'm still waiting to hear from probation but right now phone number though yeah all right now the officer searches the suspect's purse before transporting her to the station I'm putting this in your purse that I took off your wrist anything in your purse have just let me go you know another cup yeah he's going to be transporting you for me I'm just finishing up the citation right now um she transcell it or she already pregnant she is handcuffed in the front no belt okay uh she's 4 months pregnant so oh what's that her purse is in uh my front seat searched it no Contraband or nothing to worry about no that F more or less worried about weapons is it
