These folks were told to leave peacefully, but they chose to double down and make things worse. Here are five cases when simple trespass incidents went from 0 to 100 really fast. Number five, man got lost and thought breaking into someone else's house would help. On June 8th, 2025, deputies with the Indian River County Sheriff's Office responded to a call after a woman reported seeing a suspicious man on a Ring camera, allegedly trying to sneak into her backyard. Here's how officers handled the case. >> Want to go home? >> Yeah. Where you coming from? >> Uh, I don't even know to be honest. I'm going to Airbnb. >> So, what were you doing in there? >> I'm going that way. Trying to find my way home. Dude, my phone died. I'm just trying to go home. Oh, hey guys. >> Hello. >> Yeah. Where you >> coming from? You coming from inside this neighborhood? >> Yeah, I'm just trying to go home. >> I'll go make contact. >> All right. Can you step over here off off the road, please? >> Happily. Yeah. >> You got ID on you? No, >> I do not at the moment. No. >> Okay. Do you know what your name? >> Yeah. >> Birth and all that stuff is. >> Yeah. Matthew. >> Okay. >> You got any weapons or anything on you? >> I do not know. I got a phone that's dead and I got my shirt. That's what uh >> Okay. Do you live around here? >> I'm visiting at the moment. Yeah. >> From where? >> Connecticut. >> Connecticut. >> Yeah. I got a wedding I'm going to, bro. >> After their initial contact, the officers head to the reporting party's home to ask more questions and confirm the full timeline of events. >> It's about all at the moment. I'm trying to find my way back. >> Are you the ones that called us? >> I am. >> I was trying to find the numeric on your house. I can't find them. >> So, what what actually happened? So, my ring camera went off because there was motion. >> Okay. >> I looked out there, it was already gone. Went to the bathroom, came back down with the camera again. So, a couple minutes later, and then the next one went off. >> Okay. >> And this came on up and he was over there. And then my camera went off again because then he came out to the front and I hit the glass. I was like, "What are you doing?" Like, I thought honestly he just took off running. Oh, he just took off running after. >> No, I thought he would, but he didn't. He wanted to sit there and be like, "What?" And so my husband threatened him like, "Get out of here." He's like, "What?" He's like, "I'm going to put a bullet like" and he's like, "Well, come on down here. Let me up." >> So, that was So, that's when he came back over. So, this is after he hit the front door. This is him coming back around. >> And then now I'm talking to [snorts] him through like the glass up there. For real right now, >> you guys have never seen this kid before. >> No, I have no idea who this is. >> I just really just thought he would leave outside motion that like, hey, we're awake type of thing instead of >> Okay. But he never made it into the house. No. Okay. >> Thank god I actually lost the house. >> We have him right over here on the street. So back. I don't know. >> All right. >> Okay. >> Okay. I just wanted to make sure uh >> Yeah, >> he never made it in. Let me just get your information real quick. >> Yeah. With more context from the homeowner, officers confront the man a second time. But while he tries to make it sound like a misunderstanding, his story only makes less sense the more he talks. >> Where you coming from? >> Uh, one of the villages in here. I'm not quite familiar with which one to be honest with you. >> Okay. Do you know someone in there? >> Yeah, I'm currently living in here. Yeah. >> You're living in here? >> Yeah. I'm visiting for like 3 days. Yeah. So, I'm I'm living in one of these houses. I'm Airbnbing. I'm renting. >> Okay. So, why are you out here then? >> Cuz I I'm walking home. >> But it's And you came from India. Well, you're saying you're stay like your statements are not making any sense. >> I don't know how that's making sense to you. I'm visiting the state of Florida, right? >> Mhm. >> So, I'm staying in an Airbnb, right? >> In one of these estates, right? Yeah. >> Did Did you just attempt to go into someone else's house? No, I was walking from the front yard down this way so I can go home, which is down that way. >> But you just say you're staying here. >> No, no, no. I'm staying in one of the estates, one of the areas, right? >> Yeah. What's the address? >> I don't know off the top of my head, it's 22 something. I'm not quite sure. >> Okay. >> Like I said, my phone died. >> 2203 Wank2. >> Something along those lines. Yeah. >> It's not making any sense cuz you say you're at an Airbnb in here. >> No, there's two entrances to this area, is there not? Are you unaware of that? >> Yeah. >> I don't know how that's confusing to you to be honest. There's two different entrances there. >> Just your statements are just conflicting. So >> I don't know how it's conflicting to you to be honest, officer. >> Okay. >> How you doing? >> How are you? >> Pretty good. >> Where do you live? >> In Connecticut, if we're being honest. >> Okay. >> I'm staying in an Airbnb in one of these places. >> Okay. >> Yep. So that's where I'm trying to get back to right now. He doesn't understand that though. >> Where were you at? >> I was walking. >> My phone died and I'm trying to get back to my Airbnb >> that I'm staying in. We're going to a wedding right now. >> Okay. So, I'm staying in an Airbnb cuz >> Whose house do you think that was >> that you were at? >> I wasn't going to any house. >> The man appears disoriented, possibly under the influence. And had he stayed respectful, the officers might have given him a warning. But his attitude is quickly wearing thin on their patience. >> Buddy, we have you on camera trying to open the front door of that house right there >> with the big black truck in the driveway and you and the husband are talking to each other. >> I genuinely don't know what you're talking about. Like we're being so honest. >> What have you taken me? >> Nothing. I'm going to an Airbnb, my friend. I live here. >> Where is the Airbnb? >> Down that way, as far as I'm aware, I'm visiting for a wedding. So, what were you doing at this house? >> Trying to find my way back to an Airbnb. >> So, you have no clue where your Airbnb is? >> It's down that way. >> You have an address? >> Not top of my head. No, I'm in one of these states. It's down that way as far as I'm aware. I'm not really trying to go. >> You haven't drank anything or use any? >> I'm not trying to go in anyone's house. No, I'm trying to go into bed, my friend. I got a flight in the morning. Like, it's really not that. >> You >> No, I went to the wedding already. If you're paying >> if their front door was unlocked, you would have walked right in their house. >> You say you're going to a wedding. >> No, I said I went to a wedding this morning. I 5:00 I was done with the wedding. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Mhm. >> I'm just staying down here for like visiting. I'm literally going. >> My phone number has like 12 numbers on it, too. >> My phone number is 44, which he doesn't understand because he's never had a phone number that is three. He thinks it's a fake phone number. It's not. It's my real phone number. You're more than welcome to call it. >> Oh, I really don't care about your phone number. >> I don't care either, but he seems >> My concern is while you're at somebody's house trying to access the front door. If it was unlocked, you would have walked right in. >> I'm not trying to access anyone's front door, to be honest. I'm trying to go home and lay in bed and go to sleep so I can catch my flight in the morning. >> What's your first name? >> Matthew. M A T H E W. >> Good. Relax. >> I'm perfectly relaxed. I just have three different police officers currently interrogating me right now. >> I'm cool with you. >> I'm aware you're cool. It doesn't mean they're too full. Matthew. So, listen to me. All right. If you know your Airbnb is down that way, why are you at this gentleman's house trying to >> I wasn't at this gentleman's house. I was at >> Hold on. Stop. Stop. Stop. >> You're on camera. >> That's what I was trying to tell you. >> Despite being told multiple times that officers saw him acting out, the man keeps denying it. And to make matters worse, he follows up with a sarcastic jab that doesn't sit well with the officers. >> I wouldn't just make this up. You were I physically watched you on camera pull on the door handle and then backed away. You guys were talking through the the second story window and you're down by the basketball hoop and then you walk off. >> Okay. >> So, I'm just making this up. >> I'm not saying you're making it up. I'm saying >> and you have no recollection of this whatsoever. >> I'm saying >> cuz I think you're full of you tell me you have no recollection of this. >> No, I'm What I'm saying is I'm trying to go back to the Airbnb I live at at the moment. >> I understand. But I'm asking you why you're at this person's house. cuz I'm trying to find the Airbnb that I live at the moment because I don't know the address because my phone died. That's what I'm trying to explain to you, officer. >> So, where were you at and now you're going back? Like, where were you? >> I'm walking down the street so I can go to the Airbnb entrance down that way, which is the estate so I can hopefully go home and I can go to >> Where where are we coming from? >> Where are we coming from? Connecticut, if we're being honest. >> So, you walked from Connecticut to the Airbnb? >> Absolutely. I walked to the Orlando airport and I'm now here. >> That's exactly where I am. >> All right. Force Gump. Good deal. >> Yep. Precisely. I met JFK while I was on the way. I met LBJ. Precisely. >> Miranda. >> I don't know why you would need to read me any Miranda. I've genuinely done nothing. I'm just walking. >> We're investigating lawyer. Okay. >> His behavior leaves the officers no choice. The time for warnings is over. It's time to place him under arrest. >> Is it going to help you or >> you've been jading? You've been jading this question at why this house. You are arguing homeowner and you're on camera. >> As far as I'm aware, I wasn't arguing with the homeowner. I'm once again trying to find my Airbnb. >> Okay, turn around. >> Stop. >> Do not do that. >> Do not do that. >> I'm not dancing on you. >> I'm not playing games with you. >> Yo, I just want an answer. Can I have an answer? >> Yeah. >> Resisting. >> I'm not resisting anything. You got a camera? You want to turn your body cam on? >> All right. I'm not Stop. I'm not. >> Stop. All right. Relax. Man, >> it's ridiculous. >> Well, you're acting ridiculous. >> I'm not doing anything. What are you talking about, >> buddy? Do you have any recollection of what you do in life? >> Yeah, I do actually. I have a genuine recollection. I'm currently being shot on the ground by police officers. >> Well, when you pull away from police officers, that's what happens. >> Yeah, I wasn't pulling away, I believe it or not. But [snorts] >> are you going to be able to get up? >> Are you going to tense your arm up one more time? >> No, I'd like to go to the Airbnb I paid for in the morning. You do not go to Airbnb. You're going back on the ground. Do you understand me? >> Do you understand me? >> Absolutely. >> Run over. >> Can I sit up? We're going to stand you up for >> now. You're going to put your chest up against here. >> Yeah. Can I have my glasses so I can see? >> I have it. >> You don't need to see right now. >> Okay. So, I don't need to see. Good to know. >> Nope. You just need to stand there. >> Do you have any weapons on you? >> Absolutely not. >> Huh? >> Absolutely. >> Anything that's going to poke me, stick me, and stab me? >> Absolutely not. >> You can consent to go in your pockets. >> Go for it, my friend. >> Step inside. >> Mhm. Put your feet inside. Can I >> have my glasses? >> Put your feet inside the car. >> My glasses. Can I see? >> He had one last shot to cooperate, but instead he decided to provoke the officers one last time. >> It's a genuine question. >> Hey, can I have my feet? You got your body on. I'm not kicking. >> You run that name that he did give you? >> Yeah, it came back. No ID or anything? >> No, it came back low negative 29 P and locals, but no ID card, nothing. >> Okay. >> Um, >> I don't either. So, >> I mean, whatever. If it's true, it's true. If it's not, it's not. But >> give me a 12digit phone number, >> right? And then, uh, he didn't even dispel our fears. Like I'm literally telling >> he's being super defensive, super sarcastic, super smart. Alle >> denying that he was even there. >> Yeah. >> Like but you're on camera. >> Yeah. >> Was she able to send you the link or do the accent thing? >> Yeah. No. Did you see what happened over there? >> Uh not right. Well, when you were trying to So, yeah. So, I I go to put him in the car, but then I'm like, "Okay, I didn't search him." So, so I I tell him like he didn't go in. So, I just kind of like pull his arm kind of back out. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And then he goes, "Oh, you're not going to shove me in the car." And he and he starts doing one of these. You know what I mean? So then I'm like, "Dude, like stop or whatever the case is." And then I close the door and I try to put him up against the car and he starts fighting with me and that's when that happened. >> He He tried kicking you, too. >> Yeah. I couldn't even grab onto him. He's so freaking sweaty. But whatever. >> Yeah, he he's definitely on something. I don't >> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. He's He's He's squirly. He's all over the place. He's super defensive. And then like why do you deny multiple times that you read this song? Yeah. >> You don't get it. >> Like none of his he he keeps getting pissed off because none of his statements were making any freaking sense. >> It's starting to rain. >> Yeah. None of his statements were making any sense. And then he's telling him the same thing and saying that I don't understand him. But like >> why are you coming from here? Where are you coming? Like he never told me where he coming from. >> LMP resisting without >> Yeah. In the end, his actions earned him charges for resisting arrest without violence and for loitering and prowling. Number four, airport worker tries to reason with trespasser. Fails miserably. On August 17th, 2024, officers responded to Orlando International Airport after staff reported a man walking on an active runway. Here's what happened when they made contact with the suspect. Hello. >> How you doing? How you doing? >> Terrible. >> Terrible. Do you have ID on you, sir? >> Hi, I'm Sierra 60. >> What's going on? How do we get so far out here? >> Told me to go to the Hilton. Couldn't find it. >> The Hilton? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Hello. >> Can you do me a favor? >> I'm not doing well. We had a speech. I'll call you back. What? >> Can we take your backpack off? Just set on the ground, please. Thank you. So, how'd you get all the way out here, though? That's what I'm confused about. You didn't think at some point you saw the airplanes that maybe you went too far or >> I walked that away. >> From where? >> From where? >> Yeah. Where where did you come out here from? >> Past TSA. I'm down here with you. >> You remember the gate number? >> I want to say at lunch. >> Apparently, they're trying to get you on the radio. I think Tom's trying >> I'm on the radio now. >> Yeah, he's on the radio now. >> Would it be more comfortable elsewhere? >> Just stand by. >> So, you came from gate 112 >> 128. >> 128 >> and you walked past all these airplanes and everything. I missed my flight. They told me to go to the Hilton. >> I didn't. Someone stole my phone. >> Now that all the way. >> But you didn't think at any point you shouldn't be out here. >> I I wasn't here. I've been walking for 6 miles since like 8:00. >> Walking from all around here out here >> basically. Yeah. I walked past two gates. I asked the guys there to let me through. They wouldn't let me through. >> So, I just kept walking. >> His explanation doesn't quite add up, and the officers are left wondering how he even managed to get on the runway in the first place, let alone why he thought it was a good idea. >> But, I mean, at any point, you saw all these airplanes. You thought I probably shouldn't be on. >> She told me to go back to the airport. I went up to the Hyatt and they told me it was $269 for room. I then realized I was missing my $500 bracelet. So, I tried turning back to find it and apparently it's the wrong road that I was on. And I I am sorry. >> But my question is once you saw these airplanes, you thought maybe I shouldn't be out here. That never occurred to you. >> I was over there. >> Yeah, they did or didn't look pretty similar. I don't I Where was I? Please call me. You have a picture of his idea. >> So my question is what how did you get outside? >> I outside >> outside where all these airplanes are. How did you get out here on the ground? >> Fence by the high. >> So you jumped the fence? >> Yes. >> Okay. Why did you jump the fence? >> Because I'm missing a $500 bracelet that I saw. >> So you thought it was okay to jump the fence to retrieve a bracelet? Why didn't you call the police? Call somebody lost and found. Because it's seven miles of road that I just walked that I don't think you would. >> So you thought it was okay to jump a barbwire fence? >> No. >> No. You didn't think it was okay? >> I thought it was my old It's from my oldest friend. >> Okay. >> And I thought it was the same road. She told me that the road that I was on was public and it looks exactly the same. >> Who told you that? >> She did. >> The road that you were on before you jumped the fence. So, sort of I I was walking I don't know which road it was, but it was it felt like that's why I'm asking her. I don't know what road I was on. I was walking inbound this way. >> Okay. >> It was a big circle from that side of the airport all the way around and then I was coming down and then I got to the high end. They told me it was insanely expensive. So then I realized my bracelet was missing. I tried getting back on the same road I was going back to see what where I lost it. >> Okay. And it genuinely cuz I don't have $300 to spend on a night to sleep in. So I mean, might as well look for my own reason. >> So when you jump the fence, there was my wire in the fence. Correct. >> It's a simple yes or no question, but somehow the manages to make it more confusing than it needs to be. >> Not where I jump technically. Yeah. >> What do you mean technically? What does that mean? >> May jump under barb wire, but there was barb wire on the same fence. Yes. Okay. >> Well, you didn't see a sign any point that said no trespassing. Is there like every 20 ft you ever saw a sign? >> Okay. To >> be a fair, I was pretty much looking at the ground after I got over the fence. >> You what? >> I was pretty much looking at the ground after I got off the fence and I was looking at the same spot. >> I meant on the other side of the fence. >> Please tell me I'm not delaying any flights. >> What's up? >> Yeah, this is a big deal. You can't do this kind of thing. So, we got to we got to get some questions answered so we can figure out how we're going to proceed from here. Okay. Do you have any weapons on you like that? Anything in your pockets? >> Headphones and two vapes. >> What? >> Headphones and two vapes. >> Okay. So, the thing we're going to have to do now is figure out how you got in here. So, where was this fence that you're talking about? >> Where the height is, there's about three floors worth of concrete and stairs that goes like this. It leads to a dead end in the door. >> The two fences that go like this. >> So, outside the Hyatt. >> Yeah. You go outside, like walk out the main doors to the right, go to the right, go to the right. >> Okay. Did you hear an alarm sound when you open that door? Was that between the trams where you walked out? >> 175. license. >> Just have a seat for me. Just have a seat for me. Have a seat. >> Just have a seat. >> Really? >> I just >> just have a seat. >> Thank you. You sit on your butt. That's fine. >> With a suspect staying compliant, the officers ease into more personal questions to better understand his situation. >> Where do you live? >> Missouri. >> How'd you get to Orlando? >> On a plane. Are you visiting somebody >> work? I would say >> for you came here looking for work or you have work down here? >> I have work down here. >> Where do you work down here? >> United States Postal Service invited me on a conference to come here. >> The postal service invited you to a conference. >> Yes. >> Do you work for the postal service? >> So you have credentials and everything. >> Where are those credentials? >> In my bag. >> In your bag. Okay. All right. Now we're getting somewhere. All right. So, Zoom. Just stay right there. Lay on the ground for me. Lay on the ground. Lay on the ground. Lay on the ground. >> Put your in handcuff. >> Yeah. Signal two. >> No, it's just trespassing. How did you get this? >> He said he jumped the fence by the high. I think when that 29 came out for the security door. >> Yeah, >> I think that was him. That security door was uh the west checkpoint. >> Oh, was it? >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Just stay right there for me. Okay. >> We're going to stand you up real quick. Okay. You're just detained for right now. We can go to the back of my car. Man, do you have any any weapons on you? Knives or needles or anything like that? >> Nothing. Okay. All right. All right, I trust you. I'm just going to have to search you real quick. Just lean against the car for me. >> Backwards. >> Hold up. >> Yeah. Yeah, just face the car. >> Just going to readjust these. Okay. The man is already seated in the police car, but before taking further action, the officers need to confirm whether airport staff want to press charges. Hey, uh, do you want to press charges for trespassing? >> Um, yeah. >> Yeah. >> I got to read him his rights, but it sounds like he just did it just to do it. >> So, I got some questions. I kind of know what's happening, but I I want to know the specifics and I'm trying curious on how you got back here. You know, it's an airport. It's supposed to be tight security. >> So, I'm actually kind of shocked on that. >> Balance. I'm sorry. I'm going to balance the two things. I can help you with your security issues or I I I just I really want to get home, man. Like that's that's genuinely >> in Missouri. >> Yes. >> Okay. Well, I got to ask you some questions about that stuff. Okay. Cuz right now you're trespassing. You can't be back here. >> Okay. So, I my specific questions can incriminate you. That's why I got to read you your rights. Okay. But I know that you jumped the fence. I know certain things, but I do have questions on that point. >> I'm sorry. That's that's genuinely my point. >> Okay, so we can talk about it, but I have to read this this first. Okay. Splined myself. Hold on. >> Makes me concerned. >> Uh, you have the right to remain silent. Do you understand? I need a verbal yes or no. Yes. Anything you say may be used against you in court. Do you understand? >> Really weird. >> I'm sorry. >> Weird. Sir, you have the right right to remain silent when you say you have to say yes. Understand? That's right. >> Well, yes, you have the right to remain silent. You don't have to answer my questions that can incriminate you. If you don't want to talk to me at all, I I won't even read this. >> I just >> I'm sorry. >> I don't want to talk to you like I don't want to incriminate myself. >> Okay, but we'll talk about this. Okay, but first I just go. >> As protocol requires, the officer informs the suspect of his rights. Anything you anything you say may be used against you in court. Do you understand? You have the right to talk to a lawyer before and during question. Do you understand? If you cannot afford a lawyer and want one, one would be provided for you before questioning without charge. You understand? Has anyone threatened you or promised you anything to get you to talk to me? Okay. So, that's why I want to figure out if you did something uh stupid by luck or you're purposely trying to do what you're trying to do. I like to know your side of the story. >> Okay. So, what happened? >> I've been here since noon. >> You've been here since noon. >> I missed my flight at 8:00. >> You had a flight to go back to Missouri? >> Yes. >> At 8:00. What airline? >> Southwest. >> Southwest. Okay. Um, and then the lady at Southwest gave me a hotel number. She did not tell me where the hotel was, so I just looked up where the nearest Hilton was and I started walking out of the door. >> I walked for 5 miles until I saw that lady and she told me to just keep walking that way >> and I got back into the airport. And >> you walked five miles where? >> In a basically a big circle. >> Okay. I I >> around here. Like were you walking around airplanes or were you walking by with cars and stuff in the street normal highway? >> It really it genuinely felt like when I got back on the road it felt like the same road. That's why I was over here. I wasn't trying to do anything. I was just looking for my bracelet and that road looked like exactly where I came back in from. I'm obviously wrong cuz I'm here in handcuffs. >> Did you walk around that pond? >> I walked around several ponds. >> Okay. Um, so I noticed there were two gates that I walked by. I walked by the highway. >> Um, I ended up in a basic like an industrial >> What kind? Like a like a like a fence gate. Like a chain link fence gate. >> The whole thing was chain linked. >> Okay. >> Literally everywhere I walked there was a chain link fence. I was trying to cut 90° left and I could not at any point. >> It's hard for the officer to understand why the man would try to access restricted airport grounds. fully aware that the area is fenced off. Still, it gives him another opportunity to make sense of it. >> So, you know what's going on. You You seem sound, but what made you think >> I'm curious now like to jump through fences and you see airplanes. >> I I didn't see I was over there until there was >> by those buildings >> on the other side. >> Okay. >> Exactly. street. That's a trespassing sign. I didn't know I was trespassing until like three, four, five, six, seven people stopped and you are here. And one guy dragged me out saying, "You need to go back this way." And so I started following him. Said, "I just want to go. Just follow me this way." So I did. I am not trying to cause any problems. I am sorry that y'all are dealing with all of this. I really am. I just saw you all night deeply. So I was sad that I lost one of my best friends. I'm not going to go back. [clears throat] That is the only reason I came over on this side of the fence is cuz I am losing a $600 bracelet that my best friend gave me. >> So how did that bracelet get around here? >> Why would it be here? >> I don't I don't know where I'm >> What What kind is it? Like a jewelry bracelet or is it like electronic bracelet? It's a jewelry bracelet. So keep calling me. >> Why Why would it be here? Like >> been walking for 8 hours, >> then 5 hours. >> Okay. >> I'm just trying to find a place to sleep. I have a flight at 11:00 while I'm trying to make that play. When I got back here and she told me, "Come back here." I realized my bracelet was messing through the same. >> And when you saying her, you talking about her right there, >> the one by the car, >> I believe. So, yes. She said that when she found me initially, I was on a public room. This the where I got in looked exactly the same. Like exactly the same. >> A security shares that this wasn't the man's first encounter. According to staff, the man was first seen near shuttle traffic, then guided away from restricted gates, only to turn up again deeper inside the airport's operations. So, I'm sorry, I did not mean to be on track property. Nothing said I understand the concept of a fence, but I swear to God, the entire six miles that I walked, there was a fence along the entire room. >> She said it was a public room. All right, let me go. Let me go talk to them. Just hold tight for me. Okay. >> Were you the first person to actually make contact and talk to him >> in the public area? Technically, I'm one of them. >> What public area? What? How did you get involved? >> Outside AO8, like on like where the EPL buses come through. >> Okay. He originally >> all airport shuttles. >> I guess his flight was cancelled or something AND HE WAS TOLD THAT was out. So he was just following directions from I don't know who >> he ended up coming on the back of Charlie Landside. >> Okay. >> Walking that driveway where the EPL buses go. I'm I'm talking to the cops by the way. It's it's my manager. >> That's fine. >> And then um so my guard at Charlie Landside was you can't be here. You need to leave. So he walks out to like that traffic light. He ends up at Bravo and my guard calls me again and says, "Hey, there's someone here. Looks like a passenger. He's at the gate." He didn't go through Bravo. My people turn him away at the gate. Said, "You can't be here. Go away." And then I'm at um the construction post. I don't know where if like I don't know. It's it's off of airside too. >> Okay. And then Brian calls me and says, "Hey, you're on AOA. Can you come assist?" And so I called security office. I'm like, "What's the description of the guy?" So I know who I'm looking for. >> They gave him every opportunity to avoid trouble, including directions to steer him clear of restricted areas, but he still ended up near an active runway. And with multiple prior contacts already documented, the staff are no longer giving him the benefit of the doubt. I come out. I zigzag the car in the in the like the chug pug park things. >> Okay. >> To make sure he's not hiding in those. I come out and then I saw two Delta employees with a person. So I walked. So I drove over and then I was like, "No way. That's the guy." So then on the radio I said, "S10 to security ops sir 16. I'm in custody of the person. I have him in front of gate 72 with the Delta employees. >> Yeah. And how many miles is it from the first time the first place you saw him from here? >> Well, considering he went from checkpoint Charlie on the main road on Cargo Road to Bravo and somehow he ended up back into the tunnel. It's a huge It is. And it's a huge triangle. >> Mhm. So, in the back of Checkpoint Charlie, there's like a pond. >> Yeah. >> So, right there, you know, like the overpass bridge for like the normal road. >> Yes. >> Okay. I think he jumped down cuz there's land. >> It's just a pond, so there's land. So, I think he jumped down. So, my guard had no idea cuz I pulled my guard when I saw him back in the tunnel. He was already in the tunnel. So, I'm not going to make him turn around and say, "You need to go back to the main road. That's more walking." >> Mhm. So I was like the Hiatt is on level four. So go upstairs and then he made it to the Hyatt cuz after when once we found him here I was like where'd you come from? How did you get on the air side? And after talking because he kept saying I I got to the high and I'm like he kept repeating that sentence. I'm like no how did you get on the airside? You went from a public area to a private area. how did you get to the private area? And he said I jumped a crappy fence over by the hotel. I'm like, where's the fence back? >> Okay. So, the first time you guys met was over in the Checkpoint Charlie area. >> The man was ultimately charged with trespassing in a designated operational area of an airport. Number three, woman discovers a guaranteed way to land on the nofly list. On July 22nd, 2025, deputies responded to an airport disturbance involving an intoxicated passenger allegedly harassing staff. Here's what happened when they arrived. You're going to listen to me. You're not going to be flying. >> Yeah. >> Put your foot down. >> It's not about the foot. >> No, it is. I'm telling you to do something. >> I booked my flight 8:47 a.m. while reading up. >> I'm not drunk. I'm just tired. >> You're not going to get on that. >> I'm very tired. >> I got camera already. >> Okay, we have two options. >> Where I give you a refund and go purchase ticket with another guy. What's the other option? >> I just gave you nothing. >> You didn't say nothing. >> I did. I gave you >> either I for the next op the next flight available. >> I'm not leaving tomorrow >> or I give you your coupon. I need the ticket. >> Because you're going to you're missing. >> No, I gave you two options that I need you to choose. >> I'm going to miss because you're missing me. >> All right. What I'm going to do is I'm running here. >> We have to go. You're going to go You're not telling us. >> No, ma'am. Miss, >> I don't. >> Only reason that I'm so upset because I got here at 12:00. Look, you want to know how it went? >> Back behind the counter. >> I went back behind the counter. >> But I'm going tell you why I'm so upset. because I had to take 185 extra for the other ticket. You hear me? Look, I'm not even 90. Look. So, this is why I'm so upset because they like, "Oh, when I got there the first time, they're like, "Oh, you got to book an um 2 hours in advance." >> So, when I booked it at 8:47 a.m., >> right? >> I got here in advance. >> And they still telling me the same thing. I don't like it. That's mom. So, >> after cursing at the staff and being repeatedly disrespectful, she's no longer welcome to rebook. Spirit Airlines has made its decision. She'll be issued a refund and that's the end of it. >> Because Spirit Airlines told me that, "Hey, >> you can get there at 11:47 a.m. and they were going to let you check in." I checked in, right? >> I checked in at 8:47 a.m., right? >> Since she no longer has a flight, she's no longer traveling. She got >> She's not going to have to show you. You done? >> Okay. >> Are you done? >> Time to go. >> Let's go. >> You're not going to be traveling with them from somewhere. >> Let's go. >> Yeah. >> So, when is my money coming back to my car? >> 7 to 10 days. >> No, it's a credit. You're not >> It's a credit. You get a credit back to your >> miss. I don't have any money on my card. I already booked the flight for here. >> Yeah, I will. >> So, when I when you give me the credit, I could use that for another flight. between 10 to 10 business days. >> But listen to me. You saying it's taking 7 to 10 business days for the refund, right? >> So what? >> I'm going to get the whole 150 back. >> Yeah. Get the money back. Yeah. >> Back up, please. >> I'm going to get the whole money back. >> Back up, please. >> Back up. How much you want me to back up? >> I'm going to need to pull my mother or something. >> We're going to need to exit the airport. You're going to have to deal unless you go to the next book when they private entity you cannot >> I understand that >> anyone know >> your flight was can >> but listen to me >> don't even confirmation The flight was about $1.2. >> Though her refund is guaranteed, she refuses to back down. And when her disrespect turns toward the officers, the situation shifts in a direction she wasn't ready for. >> Come on, let's go. >> So, I missed the first flight, right? >> And I need to probably going to get arrested. We don't want that. >> No, I don't want to get arrested. >> Let's go. Let's go outside. >> So, where can I book the flight? Because I had to go to somewhere else and book. But miss, why can't I look through spirit? >> You can't manhandle a female. >> Don't touch me though. >> You acting like a go to jail. >> I'm going go to jail for you handling me like that. >> Don't keep walking. Let's go. >> But he's a racist. That's what it is. He's a racist. >> I didn't do nothing. >> I didn't do nothing. >> Trying to be >> Hey, I ain't asking you. 15, >> miss. Mister, I walked away. Let's go. >> I was supposed to say I walked away. You heard it. >> Just turn around. >> Why are you doing that? If I walked away, >> that's weird. >> If I walk away. >> Stop moving. >> I'm not moving. But if I walk away, I'm walking away. That's what I said. That's fine. You said go to the fight, right? Walking away. I was all over the door. Have you been drinking that many? You drinking? Cuz I can smell the afro. I can smell it. Okay. I took a I wasn't drinking. >> But I because I'm paying you so much money. >> Come on. Come on. >> But if you're arresting me, it has to be for the different reason. >> So my problem is that they wasn't letting me get the flight because I was If there's a female, >> huh? >> The sudden shift in attitude doesn't change the outcome. With the cuffs already on, her next stop is the station. >> The lady told me that I could come. >> The lady come here to come. So, how much? She told me to come. My flashlight somewhere. told me after talking about getting arrested. She told me to come. >> That's what I'm saying. >> We asked you to leave. >> Watch what's watch. But you don't understand about $500 extra >> and you got a refund. >> No, I didn't. You not understanding it. I said I'm getting a refund. I put it in. You can look at my chrome. That's your name. >> I'm not intoxicated. >> All I did was try to get an extra >> Yes. >> But all I did was try to get an extra flight. >> You want me to get it? You hear me? >> You hear me? I was not >> not lying. I'm just letting you know that I just paid $800 extra for a flight. >> You hear me? But are you hearing me? >> I was not complain. I was playing on. >> Ultimately, she's booked on charges of disorderly intoxication and trespassing. Number two, stubborn woman wastess her free chance to walk away without cuffs. On July 20th, 2025, officers responded to a call from worried parents who said their daughter wasn't picking up any of their calls or texts. She was later found alone at a closed pier after hours. Here's what happened when officers approached her. >> Oh, sorry. Oh, I was just going for a walk with them. >> Wait, you know the pier's closed? >> Oh, is it? >> Yes. >> Oh, I didn't know that. I'm sorry. >> How did you just get in here? >> Oh, there was a >> So, listen. I keep getting phone calls from your parents. >> They're very concerned about you. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> What's going on? >> Nothing's going on. >> All right. cuz now you've been at the beach for over 12 hours. >> What [laughter] time is it? >> It's 2:00 in the morning. >> Okay. >> What? >> So, let me ask you, have you been taking any medication? >> Um, I I haven't been taking it as like regularly as I should, probably. >> Okay. Are you feeling like you want to hurt yourself? >> No. No. >> Okay. Are you feeling >> Okay. Are you having any thoughts like you want to harm yourself or other people? >> Do you feel like you're unable to take care of yourself? >> Okay. So, what's going on tonight? And I don't want you to like sugarcoat it because I literally your parents keep blowing up my phone concerned about you. >> I'm getting married. >> You're what? >> Getting married. Am married. >> You are married, >> right? >> Okay. >> Yep. >> Yep. >> So, what's going on? Why are they calling? >> Cuz they're concerned about me and I wasn't texting them and calling them and so they got worried. >> Okay. Where's your husband? >> Probably that way. >> He's not. There's nobody out there. The entire beach is closed as well. I would be concerned, too. This is just my opinion. If my daughter was at the beach for 12, 13 hours at 2:00 in the morning standing on a pier that's very obviously closed. >> Yeah. >> So, why aren't you calling them back? >> My phone's dead and it was in my car and I just I just lost track. >> Um, no. They're at the beach and then I then I just lost them. >> Where are you at? I'm not leaving. >> Okay. >> The deputy keeps it simple. She's on private property after hours and needs to leave. When she argues there were no signs, the deputy firmly explains why that excuse won't hold up. >> I just feel like this is getting very strange by the minute. >> All right. >> Got it. Got it. >> So, wait. Come back this way cuz you're trespassing. >> Okay. But there wasn't a sign. >> There is a sign. >> Oh, sorry. Yeah. >> So, it's posted. All right. >> Yeah. >> There's also the fence over. >> Yeah. That kind of is like a Hey, don't come this way. >> Yeah. >> The two fences you had to climb over. >> Yeah. There's just one. >> This white one right there and the other white one back there. That's two. >> All right. So, we're going to leave now. >> Got it. >> Okay. Yeah. >> And you're going to go to your car. >> Okay. >> And you're going to leave the the beach. The whole beach is closed. Got it. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, go ahead. >> Understood. >> Yes. We're going to go with you. >> Thank you. >> All right. >> You're going to have to. >> Sorry. >> This is the way you climbed over, right? >> No, I came that way. >> I watched you climb over this. >> Oh, no. I I said I went through one gate. I went that way. >> Ma'am, I just watched you climb over this fence. I don't need I'm not What? >> It's my word against yours. >> I'm not charging you with anything. Just go back. There's no way. >> I'm leaving. >> Okay. >> What is going on? All right. >> And this gate doesn't work. >> Oh, that's what I was just saying. >> Still out of here. >> Yeah. I don't know. I feel this is getting crazy by the minute. We have to go back here. That is a business. You can't go in there. You have to go back the way that you came from, which is fine. >> As deputies try to escort her out, she heads toward a closed business entrance. They remind her she needs to exit the way she came. But instead of listening, she pushes back. >> But I did it over the wall. >> You did. I watched you. Go ahead. >> You stepped on the chair. >> You hopped over the fence. But I didn't. >> Okay, that's fine. >> And now you're trying to make me do it. And then that's actually really >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. Let me call you back in a second. >> Yes. Let me call you back in a second. >> All right. We're going to ask you to leave one more time. I'm going to ask you to jump over this fence and go that way. If you refuse to leave, I'm going to arrest you for trespassing. >> I didn't see a sign. >> Okay, that's fine. All right. If you refuse to leave, I'm going to arrest you for trespassing. And then we're going to carry you over the fence. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> So, I'm asking you one more time to please jump over the fence and we're going to follow you off the property. Are you willing to do that? Yes or no? >> I'm not willing to do that. >> Why? >> Cuz I didn't do anything wrong. >> You are trespassing. >> But I'm not. There wasn't a sign. >> Ma'am, you entered a All right. So, one of two ways. You either entered a closed business to enter the city of Lakeworth Beach pier that is closed or you climb this fence which has a posted no trespassing sign on the opposite side of it. >> Oh well. Sorry. >> So either way you are trespassing. >> Yeah. Maybe some more signs. >> Okay. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So I'm going to ask you one time. >> Now this is probably the second or third time. >> Please jump over the fence. >> No, I'm good. >> Okay. Turn around then. Place your hands behind your back. I don't understand why we're being difficult. I'm going to see if I help this. All right. This one. >> All right. Are you willing to step on the chair and get over the >> Yeah, but I can't cuz my hands are kind of bad. >> Okay, I'll help you. Even in restraints, deputies prioritize her safety, placing a chair to help her step over the barrier and avoid falling. All right, there you go. Okay, >> step back. I think she came through there. >> H >> Did you come through here? >> Yeah. >> You just you walked through here? >> Yeah. >> That's how she got out here, dude. She came through there and then went over there. Come on. This way. Freezing. >> This is freezing. >> It's freezing. Sorry. Thank you. Following the encounter, the woman was charged with trespassing. Number one, how day drinking turned into a trip to the station. On June 8th, 2025, officers were called to a restaurant after staff reported an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance inside the establishment. According to the complainant, the woman refused to leave despite multiple requests. This is how officers handled the situation. >> Still here. >> She's there. >> Which one? >> Oh, Rebecca. Okay. You just want me to have her leave then? >> Yes. >> Did she do anything? >> She didn't physically do anything, but she my >> Is this from you guys' establishment? >> Yes. Okay. Did she buy this? >> No, she just stand. But honestly, personally, I >> Okay. >> Well, here. We're going to leave this here since you didn't buy it. Where's your shoes at? >> Right here. >> Let's get your Let's get your shoes. >> I'm not leaving. >> Yes. >> No, I'm not. >> They need you to leave the property. Okay. >> I have never never did nothing. I'm sitting here waiting for nothing everywhere. >> But hey, this is private property. Okay. >> This is my property. Everybody else is I'm eating. I want something to eat. >> Okay. Well, they are refusing service. They want you to leave. Okay. >> Why is that? >> They've asked you to leave. >> I've been sitting here. >> Okay. >> Sitting here doing nothing waiting for soda or something. >> Okay. Well, they're not going to serve you on and leave the property. >> No, I'm not. >> If you don't, then you could be arrested. They arrest me. >> Okay. I'm >> And you know that what I do >> where I live right around the corner right there. I ain't did nothing wrong. sit here and wait. >> I can't remember. What's your name again, ma'am? >> Rebecca and Dudley. >> Okay. Right here. I wait for you. I'm waiting on the sunrise and all that. They never give me another another drink. They told me to go there. Everything is >> okay. Well, >> again, the owners of the property that run this restaurant >> have asked you to leave. >> I have never never done nothing wrong. >> Well, obviously they don't feel that way because they called us here. >> I know because you know you know why. >> While she's not being aggressive, her refusal to cooperate and leave the premises is working against her. For now, the officers try to be patient. They're still hoping they can talk her into stepping out. >> Take me out. Jesus sent me. >> What's that? >> Take me to your place then. I just walked up here and sat there. >> That's not how this works. >> Well, who are you? >> Huh? >> Who are you? >> You've talked to me before. >> No, I ain't. >> Yeah, you have. You've talked to me several times. >> How do you know I'm right? >> No. >> Yeah, I do. >> But you haven't had a drink today, Rebecca. >> Nothing. In my home, I have. >> I come here. >> Nothing. But in your home, you have. >> Yes, I do. >> Okay. Let me go look at it. I came here and did what I wanted to do. >> So, she's refusing to leave and you guys want to pursue charges. >> Um, no. I just want her to go. >> Well, that's the only way I can physically make her leave is if she I've asked her to leave, she's telling me no. Um, let me go call the owner real quick. >> And I can talk to him if that would uh make it a little easier. >> Like her or the owner? >> The owner? >> Yeah, that's fine. Let me just >> The staff expressed they'd rather not press charges, but the officer explains the legal reality. Without a trespass charge, there's no way to remove her. >> Hello. Yes. >> But this time she tried to like um like cause a little scene. So we're just wanting to know if we were just able to tell her like to not come again unfortunately. >> So where we're at right now is I went over and I asked her to leave. Um she's telling me no. Um she's not going to leave. She wants service. I explained to her, you guys are not providing her service. She needs to leave the property. Um I warned her that if she does not leave that she could be arrested and she said go right ahead. Uh but my question for you guys is um we can tell her to leave if she doesn't. Uh you know, we can't physically put hands on her unless you guys tell us that you wish to pursue charges for trespassing and then we could force her to actually leave the property. Um, but until we're at that point, we can't actually uh force her to leave. So, >> hold on. Give me one second. I'm just going to explain it to my mom really fast. >> Yes, that's okay. Okay, perfect. Um, I will take the phone back in if you want to let her know that and then um we'll get the paperwork going and we'll get her out of here. If she returns, um, just let us know and we can come back down and it'll be kind of a similar process. Um, if she does it too many times, we'll just have to end up keeping her until um, she goes back to court. So, >> okay, no problem. >> All right, >> thank you. >> Here, uh, here she is. >> With a green light from the owner, the officer heads back inside, conferring with his partner before taking further action. >> I'm going home. You want to move further with this? She's going to get arrested. >> What's she going to get arrested for? >> Trespassing. >> Okay. And still take her to jail and release her. >> If she won't leave the property, we'll take her to jail. Otherwise, bullish would disappear from here. But she has to leave this property. >> Okay. Are they going to sign? >> Yeah. As if >> you get it signed, I'll finish it up. >> Okay. Do you want to go get the paperwork? Rebecca, where you been staying at lately? >> My home. >> Where is that at? >> What's that? >> Right there at the Oaks. >> Oh, the Oaks. Yeah. Okay. Here's my key. >> What apartment do you stay in? >> 10. Okay. >> Why I did that? >> Okay. >> We had complete my order. >> No, they are not giving you any service. >> Why? >> I've already explained that. Okay. >> I need to run. >> They do not want to provide you service. They believe you're too intoxicated and they've asked you to leave and I have also asked you to leave >> and you told me no. The officer makes one last attempt to reason with her, asking about her alcohol intake and state of mind. But if she keeps pushing, she's about to face the consequences. >> How much have you had to drink today? >> I've been in my home. >> Mhm. >> Got to come here to get what? >> I know. Um, have you had a large amount to drink where we need to have you checked out by EMS at all? >> What is that? Do you need an ambulance? >> No, I don't. >> Okay, >> that's why I'm asking if you do. >> Okay, >> that's Joy saying, >> "How much have you had today?" >> Now you're business now. Huh? I didn't want to get something to eat. That's all I wanted to do. >> Nope. Stop. >> No, that's it. >> Okay, stop. Go ahead and turn around. >> No. >> Yep. You're under arrest >> for what? I didn't do nothing. >> Stop. >> Leave me alone. Let me walk home. >> You're under arrest. >> No, I'm not under arrest for nothing. >> Stop. You are under arrest for trespassing. >> Trespassing what? This is This is what trespassing what zone. >> You have not left here. I told you to leave. >> I just got here. >> They also told you to leave. >> Okay. >> Move and welcome. >> No. Turn around and place your hands behind your back. >> I'm not doing it. >> Okay. Well, I'm not going to fight you until he gets down. >> As Rebecca holds her ground, the second officer is speaking with the staff. What he learns confirms that this isn't the first time she's caused trouble at the restaurant. >> Did she threaten anybody when she was in there doing something? >> Um, no, she didn't, but she got off in my face. And she's kind of like she This isn't the first time she's been here. >> Okay. >> The second time she was also kind of wonky like she was you. So, I didn't want to trust and be like >> So, she didn't threaten. Did she raise a hand towards you or anything? Try to push you, make you step back. >> No, but the only thing she did was like she was trying to like snatch him. I maybe I assumed like she was going to like grab something, throw it at me, so I like kind of stepped back and she stood up, get in my face. She didn't friend me, but I didn't want to take any chances. She was acting weird. >> Okay. All right. >> Nobody. That's not me. >> I know. I live to get me. >> Okay. Well, they no longer want you on the property. I will not come here tomorrow. >> Okay. >> I'll go back home. >> Yeah. >> But I need you to stand up and put your hands behind your back. >> I'm not getting arrested for nothing I did not do. >> You did. I told you to leave. You told me no. I told you if you don't leave that you'll be arrested and you said go ahead. >> Why? I'm sitting here and to eat and see everybody got water or anything else but me. Why? >> Because you are too intoxicated and they feel like you need to leave. >> Oh my god. >> Okay. And you're refusing to leave. >> So, you're going to be arrested. >> I will go. Um, >> I already gave you that opportunity. >> No, you didn't. >> I did. >> Sorry. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> No problem. >> Trespass warning in hand, the officers head back, offering Rebecca a final opportunity to walk out [music] peacefully. She now has one last chance to leave on her own or be taken out in cuffs. What happens next is up to her. >> All right, I need you to stand up and put your hands behind your back. >> I didn't do nothing wrong. >> Rebecca, this is not an option at this point. >> I just walked up in here. >> Okay. >> I want something to eat. I want to go home, but I just come from >> So, right now, you're refusing to leave the property. You're being charged with trespass. >> You've been asked to stand up. That's everybody. >> Rebecca, if you stand up, you're going to be charged with resisting. >> You already did that already. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Stop. >> Get away from me right now. >> Rebecca, stop. >> Don't break my Let's take my >> Stop resisting. >> I doing >> Stop. Stop. Now you're being charged with resisting. >> Give me a what? >> Stop. Give me my wallet. Stop. >> You'll get your wallet later. >> No, right now. >> Come in here. And then what I want to do is eat. >> I'm gonna tight this down a little bit more. >> Right the heck now. >> Let go of the keys. >> No, I live there. >> Let go of the keys. >> No, I live there. >> Just leave it for now. Okay. >> Get my wallet, please. >> We'll get it in a minute when we get outside. >> All right. Have a seat in there. Put my wallet back. >> Just sit down >> now. >> Sit down. >> Hang on. >> Here, hower. Hold on. >> She was ultimately taken into custody and brought to Waw Bash County Jail on charges of resisting arrest and criminal trespass. Was justice served here? Let me know what you think.
