Most drivers understand that losing their temper on the road can make things worse, but these folks clearly had a different idea. Here are five cases when road raging Karens think they're untouchable. Number five, entitled drivers let road rage take over. Then this happened on February 22nd, 2024. Officers responded to a distress call from a driver out on the road. She reported an argument with two women in public, but when she tried to leave with her child, the suspects allegedly followed them for miles, harassed them, struck the car, and even blocked the road. Here's what happened when officers finally confronted them. >> How y'all doing? >> Good. >> Y'all running out of gas? >> Yeah. We trying to make sure this the right gas before we put it in the car. >> She not answering the phone. >> What's your names? >> M. Mine's Lia. Uh-huh. So, what's going on? >> She ain't got no gas. >> What else is going on? >> What's supposed to be going on? >> That's what I'd like to know. >> What? Why you asking us that? They act like they have no idea what's going on until the officers ask one simple question. >> Called in and said someone stole a bus and then hung up on transfer. We're going to try to get >> stole a bus. Thank you. >> This says stole a bus, right? >> Oh, y'all fear. >> No, not you guys. >> No, no. Eat bus is getting stolen. That's what that's what y'all saying. I'm looking for transfer. She got hit the front like part of her car got smudge all over it like a car contacttor. >> Excuse me. Can I ask y'all a question? What is y'all doing? Cuz what we in the blind right now. >> Well, y'all you guys will be in the light here in just a minute. We figure out what we're doing. >> How come y'all can't tell us what's going on? >> Yeah, good. As soon as he gets here, we're going to talk about it. >> Okay. Who is he? >> The other deputy. >> I got to pee. >> That is so weird. >> Y'all don't find that strange. It's just out the blue. I stopped with y'all. Y'all just Y'all just happened to run out of gas right here? >> Yeah, I just happened to run out of gas right here. I walked to the store to call her cuz my phone was dead. Like literally it was dead. Now I got to call the Instacart people and tell them that I'm pulled over and I don't know what for. >> Do you have the groceries with you? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You might want to go ahead and do a return >> for what? >> You probably ain't going to make it there. >> And what we going to jail for? >> As soon as it gets here, we'll explain it to you. >> Let me call my people. After a while, the other officer speaks with the victims and their account quickly tears apart the suspect's innocent act. >> The vehicles, which vehicle hit you? >> Both of them. Both of them hit us. Um, the red one hit us in the front. The black one hit us in the back. >> They had us like locked in. Like, why couldn't you >> turn? You see all the skid marks in the front? She kept sliding past the front like hitting us in the front. >> So, so this is from the back of the red car. >> Yeah. If you look at the front of the red car, it's messed up in the front. It look like she's been hitting somebody. It's not that me I don't think it was that messed up. >> Yeah, it wasn't bad. Like it wasn't bad, but like some black stuff hanging from the bottom like she was hitting Yeah. Like she was hitting >> But that that's the front of that car. >> Uh-huh. >> But you said the back of the car. >> No, they hit She hit the front of her car trying to block us in. >> Oh. With the front of her car >> and then the back of THE BACK OF THEM the back of them kept trying to block us in. She just kept pulling out pulling back in. Pulling out. Pulling back in. >> Oh, he didn't get your name. >> That's your last name or first name? And so the silver one hit you in the back. >> It wasn't silver. It was like navy blue. >> So it wasn't a a gray Chevy Malibu. >> Maybe it's like blue. It's like it's rusty. It's kind of old. >> It's old. >> Yeah. Not old, but it look rusty. Like it looks like >> I don't know. >> You know what the car looks like, too? >> Yeah. Which one? Both of them. >> Yeah. Yeah. It's >> You want to go look at the these two cars that we're out with? >> I mean, I go which >> you're going to be in the You're going to be in the car. Oh, okay. Yeah. >> So, I'm just going to drive by and just let me know those are the two cars. >> All right. I'll be right back. >> Okay. >> All right. I had to take pictures. Sorry. >> Can you see out your window? >> Oh, yes, sir. >> That's both the cars. >> Yep. Both cars. >> All right. >> All right. Thank you. And everything you swore and affirmed is the truth. >> Nothing but the truth. >> All right. Thank you. >> With a victim backing up the story, the officers step in and apprehend the suspects. But their reaction takes everyone by surprise. >> All right. Either of you guys have any weapons on you? Anything illegal? >> Uh-uh. >> Okay. >> What you think? >> Let's slide this purse off. >> Go ahead and put your hands behind your back. Get off the phone. >> Okay. I'm I'm going to have to call you back cuz they I guess they going to take us to jail. >> This this >> Okay, get off the phone. >> Just the man with the car. If he wants to talk to y'all, >> I'm not talking. I'll leave him on the phone for just a minute. I'll come back and talk to him. >> Definitely not going. >> Well, look, if we could play dumb or we could or we could have talked about what was happening. So, instead of playing we're playing dumb about it, we're just going to go with go this route. No. What happened? Like explain. >> You just ended up here out of gas. Just Instacart and that's it. So, >> of course, >> of course. >> So, we'll go a different route. Y'all going to go to jail. Both of you aggravated battery. >> Aggravated battery. >> Yeah. We got a whole group of people watching what y'all was doing. And y'all y'all going to be here acting like I'm I'm ignorant, >> sir. Nothing. Like I promise you I don't. >> Look, this is a whole lot more than you just happen to run out of gas. Instacarton. Y'all feeling me? Instacart, sir. >> Look, listen. Y'all feeling me for this whole bunch of nothing. >> No, because I don't know. >> Not right now. You can't call nobody. >> I wouldn't be playing dumb if I knew what I was talking about. I don't know what you're talking about. >> The suspects had their chance to clear things up, but instead they keep pushing the same story. At this point, the officers are done going in circles. Okay. Well, I guess we'll explain. We're going We're going to read your rights. We're going to read your rights. We going listen. Can you listen? Listen. >> Crazy. This is sick right now. >> I'm going to read your Shut up for a minute. >> We going to read your rights to you. And then if you want to have a conversation about what happened, then then we'll have a conversation about what happened. >> I'm listening though cuz I don't got time for this. I have a son. >> And who is this? the owner of the car. >> I don't know if he's still >> Hello. >> Hello. >> Yeah, this is Sergeant with the sheriff's office. >> Yeah. Hey, uh I just want to say if you do decide to to uh do what you do um do you mind just pulling the car over cuz I don't want it to get impounded. I >> Well, the phone died. Did you get a You was able. >> He died. The phone died as we was talking. >> What did he say? >> Do you mind? Click. >> Just slide your feet in. >> When are y'all going to have a conversation? >> You going to talk right now? After their encounter with the police officers, both suspects were charged with aggravated assault. Number four, mom tries to step in during traffic stop. Makes things worse. On August 2nd, 2024, officers on patrol noticed a vehicle ignoring multiple traffic rules, blowing through intersections, and driving in a reckless manner. Here's what happened when they finally pulled the vehicle over. How's it going, ma'am? Deputy Shuch Sheriff's Office. Reason you stopped today is your failure to stop at two intersections. >> I stopped. You see me stop and go. >> Uh, again, you're not stopping. >> Full and complete stops is full and complete stops. You slowing down is not stopping. >> I stopped and then I >> I'm not going to argue this with you. Again, I watched you at both of them. Can I see your license, registration, proof of insurance, please? your license. Please >> tell Gigi to put my Wi-Fi code in here. >> I don't have one. >> I just saw it in your wallet there. So, let's try that again. >> Let me see it then. Thank you. >> You see how he says that? >> Mr. Tariq. >> No. >> What's your name? >> That ass. >> What's your name? >> It's on the ID. >> Let me just talk to the people. I ain't got time for that. >> Me either. He talk about a stop. I stop and call the vehicle on the right side here. Just b me out of here. That's all. >> All right. >> They can't just like that. >> Yes, I can. >> Stop it. >> Can you pull my shirt up? The traffic stop is already tense, but it becomes more complicated when the suspect's family members start interfering with the officers. >> You don't even have proper cars, but you can take her to jail. >> Yes, I do. >> Yes, I do. >> BACK UP FROM MY TRAFFIC STOP. THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO. BACK UP. >> BACK UP. They stop saying I ain't stop if it's cars in front of me going left and right. Ain't got no choice but to stop and go. >> Give you her license and you trying to ask where your name is on her driver license. >> All right, man. If you want to be so smart, what does that say at the top of that? What does it say? >> What does it say? All right. It say driver's license. Mind your business over there, please. >> Your vehicle's getting towed. Move it. Mom, have a seat. He talking about he tow with pocket. >> Get in the car. >> Do not get near that car. Please get in the car. >> He cannot tow my >> Get in the car. >> See this? >> Get in the car. >> I'm getting You don't have to push me. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> YOU DON'T. >> YOU'RE going to get on charge. >> I DON'T CARE. YOU DON'T HAVE to push me. >> You don't have to push me. I'm going to get up and get in the car. >> Grab the ID, please. It's underneath her back. Cut it out. >> You doing like come on. >> Say again. >> Right now she's getting resisting charges. >> Okay. >> I'm sorry, sir. >> Officers soon discover the suspect doesn't even have a valid license. And while they're dealing with that, the suspect's mother decides to step in and only makes things worse. >> Driver's license. >> Did this go in the car? >> Yep. >> Grab her. >> No, that is my ass. >> No. Come here. This is not traffic stop. >> This is not traffic stop. >> Give me the keys. >> Stop. Stop. Stop. Baby. >> Stop it. >> Stop. Go in the car. She did. >> You saw I do that. Congratulations. >> Yes, I didn't. No, you did not. >> Shut up. >> Yes, I didn't. You did not. >> That's my purse. >> It' be one thing you came back to me. You didn't. >> You didn't ask me that. >> That is >> You didn't ask me that. You didn't say nothing. I couldn't get my purse, sir. >> Uhuh. >> I said do not go into that car. You did it anyway. >> NO, YOU DID NOT. You were lying. You very much lying to me. Oh, >> cool. You very much lying. Hold on. Call over here. >> Lift your wrist up. Please hold her on. Can you hear this, please? Dang it. All this for what? >> All this for a trophic uh a stop sign violation. >> So what she going to stop sign? >> She went a stop sign. She has no driver's license. That's what she's going to jail. On top of that, now she's getting resistant charges. Come on. Anything in your pockets? No. >> No. You were under arrest for resisting. >> Resist. >> Cuz I told you not to go in that car. You did it anyway. >> You're not. You say don't move. >> Get in the car. Car. >> Get in the car. >> That's a different. You say don't move. >> Get in the car. >> You say don't move. >> Now that the suspect and her mother are in custody, the officers turn to the father to discuss what to expect next. And fortunately, he handles the situation very differently. >> Central, >> I get you. Let me find out what >> get to do what? >> Get her out. >> Can I ask her? >> Who? >> Her. I just want to >> give us a minute. I I listen. I got no problem you talking to her. going to leave here without you talking about it. >> Just understand this is the current predicament I'm in. Okay, >> first things first, I'm doing a traffic stop. It's a simple one real quick. >> Yes, sir. >> At first, I was just going to do a warning. >> Right. >> No valid driver's license. Straight to jail. >> I said, don't go in the car. The car is right now is still under my control. >> Right. Right. >> I'm I'm not linking you over to anybody else. Nothing. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Right. >> She goes into the car against my wishes. Again, knowing this is a traffic stop, >> resisting arrest. >> All right. It's a $500 bond. Okay. How much? >> 500. >> Okay. >> All right. >> All right. Okay. So, I'm getting hit together. >> No, hers going to be a bit more. >> She wants to start fighting, kicking me, and everything else. She's getting other charges. >> Which one? This one? >> This one. >> So, >> resistant, too. >> Okay. So, you know about the bail bonds and all that stuff? >> No, not really. But you could just tell me where I go with what I need to do. I get her. She can get figure out >> for her. >> Yeah. >> Once she gets processed onto the jail itself, we have to we have to do our report, >> take it to the jail and get a process inside of it. Uh-huh. >> Afterwards, you can bond around. You can go you can call bonds and anything else like that. >> Okay. Where you going with it? >> Blush County branch. >> Okay. >> Yeah. It's in Daytona. >> I said Daytona. >> The bond itself is going to be 10% of it. Sorry. So, you're going to pay 100 bucks. >> Okay. I'll pay the 100 bucks. >> Okay. And you want me to wait and see how much this is going to cost me? >> Yeah. I'll tell you before I leave. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Just say time for us. >> Okay. With backup now on scene, the officers fill them in on the details of the stop and everything that happened leading up to it. Simple travel stops. Wow. >> So, I'm talking with him over there. Um, and he and I see it too where this girl that's in the back of this car, she starts, she didn't stop. So, it's just basically a a traffic stop violation, right? So pretty much after that we get here and she's like not providing us, you know, her ID or anything or the driver's license. Turns out she only has an ID card. She doesn't have a driver's license. So she's going to jail for, you know, not having a driver's license operating motor vehicle. And then I guess this is probably like her mom or something like that. And um so the mom ends up opening the trunk, grabs her stuff, and starts walking off during the traffic stop. Got nothing to do with her. So guy with her and cares and then she I guess um she started cooking like fan and stuff like that. So she's got battery charges on. >> Hello. >> How you doing? >> So you're trying to figure out the bond for everybody? >> Yeah, I'm going to have to. Yeah. >> Okay. Well, we have a new bond schedule set up. So because the driver of the car kicked my deputy >> Okay. She's going to have no bond. >> So, she's got to wait to see a judge in the morning. >> In the morning. Yep. >> Okay. >> And then your wife, am I correct? Yes. Okay. Okay. >> Your wife is going to have a $500 bond. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Okay. She So, I can go get >> Yep. You can get her out. >> I can't get Russ. >> Correct. >> That's after you process over the other day. Don't take >> Yep. We're going to have to get her processed first and then they can get her out. So, I'd say probably give about three hours at max. You can call in and by all means try earlier. >> And she going right to Dand. I mean uh Daytona. >> They're gonna go Daytona. Yep. >> Okay. I call >> 1300 Red John Road is the address. >> Yeah. I I for me I I can call and send him over there. I know. >> 1300 what? >> Red John Road. >> The jail house. >> The jail house. Yep. >> The scene is coming to a close. But before the suspects are escorted away, the officers pass along one more piece of unfortunate news to the family. >> All right. >> Thank you, man. She don't want me to take the pizza. Where's the >> Give us just a second and we'll get you taken care of. Okay, just hang out over here. I'll come right back. Nothing else in here. Everything's good, right? Okay. She asked if you can please take her purse. >> She's got a another set of key. We're keeping her car key cuz that's getting towed. >> Oh, you're going to tow the car. She's just moving in. We just got to pay. That's just extra money. I'm not really going to get him out of jail. >> No, no, I get it. >> Okay, but you have to tell it's getting towed. Why? She didn't have no advisor. >> She's got no license. Yep. And because we're towing it, we make sure there's nothing. Yeah. Because she's got no license, so she shouldn't be driving. >> Okay. >> Um and we work with people that want to work with us. >> Okay. >> So, when she doesn't want to cooperate and work with us that then it'll get towed >> cuz it's in the wrong. >> Can I talk to her to get her to calm down so I can not let this car get? >> She already let it escalate too far. It literally could have been something as simple as a ticket. >> I know. That's what he told me. >> He She actually could be getting charged with a felony if she chose to. She didn't stop immediately when the deputy told her to stop a couple blocks back. He's not charging her with fleeing and eluting. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, >> if she wouldn't had attitude, sounds like from the get-go, it could have been something as simple as, "Hey, you shouldn't have been driving. Here's your ticket. Let's call it a day. >> I call it a day." >> Yep. Could have been simple as that. But now, unfortunately, she's racks in charges. What should have been a quick traffic ticket ended with both women facing charges. The mother was charged with resisting arrest without violence, while her daughter received multiple charges, including driving without a valid license, resisting arrest with violence, and battery on a law enforcement officer. Number three, man should have stayed quiet during this traffic stop. On February 28th, 2025, officers pulled over a vehicle for a minor traffic violation. But once they made contact with the driver, the stop took an unexpected turn. Hey, what's going on, man? I'm officer Klaus with the found police. I'm stopping you. You got to use your turn signal at least 200 ft before you do. >> You got it. >> When I turned on it. >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. My bad. >> You got trad on you? >> Where are you headed? >> I'm just going right here to Joy Drive. >> You're good. >> You have insurance on it? >> Yeah. >> Don't reach under the seat. Okay. I'm looking for my I give you my insurance. >> I give you my cuz driver's license normal. >> Are you If you just give me You're the registered donor. Yes, sir. >> If you just give me the date of birth, you'll be good. >> Insurance for me. Okay. Just stay in the vehicle. >> Do you have your insurance? >> That looks good. You go. I'm going to have you step out of the vehicle for me. Okay. What? >> I'll explain it to you once you get out of the vehicle. >> Why do I need to step out? >> Cuz I'm going to explain something to you. Okay, nurse. Listen to me. >> Is there a issue? >> I'll explain it to you. Okay, step out of the vehicle. >> Why do I need to step out of the vehicle? I don't want to give us the issue. I'm going to explain it to you once you're out of the vehicle. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> I'm going to explain it to you. Okay. >> What's the >> A suspicious object catches the officer's attention and she instructs the suspect to step out of the vehicle, but it quickly becomes clear this won't be a simple request. Do not roll the window up and step out of the vehicle. >> I'm sorry. I'm sorry. >> I'm not going to ask again. >> Step out of the vehicle. >> I'm trying to get out the vehicle. >> Yep. Unlock it and step out of the vehicle. >> Walk to the back of the vehicle. >> I'm going to explain it to you. Okay. or something. What's going on? >> Yep. >> Possession. >> You have anything on your illegal at all? >> No, not. >> Okay. What do I have for >> uh possession? >> Possession. >> I just I just came from court. They just issued this warrant. Okay. Walk back to the vehicle. I'm going to search you. Okay. >> Sir, >> I just came from court. >> Well, okay. So, when someone has has a warrant at court, >> they'll confirm the record. >> When was the warrant issued? >> I just came from court, man. >> I'll confirm. >> I'm going right here down the street. Mhm. >> I just came before. Hey, can I at least park my car down the street so I don't get my vehicle towed? Officer, please. >> Don't talk about it. Okay. >> Well, my my girlfriend right there. Can I just call her to come get my vehicle? Well, the issue is I saw plain view when I walked up to you the first time. Okay. So, depending on what's in the vehicle, we'll go from there. Okay. >> I don't have a right to my view. >> I do. When there's inflamed view >> here, quit moving around. Do you understand? >> Once the officers confirm the suspect has an active warrant, they take him into custody. But in the next moment, he takes the situation to another level. You want me to pull your pants up? Do you want to try to pull your pants up? >> Cuz I need to go under your legs. So spread your legs. Okay, I'm going to sit you in the back of my vehicle. Okay. >> Ain't no way I got no warrant, man. >> Yeah, you do. >> Ain't no way I got no warrant, man. >> I'm making it up. >> I just came from court. I just came from court, man. I >> just had court on the 25th. >> And I told you they >> Today is the 28th. What? They Can you tell me Can you tell me when my warrant was issued? Please. Right now. Please, man. Come on, man. N man. Cuz this get back IN THE ILLEGAL. I WANT TO TALK TO THE SERGEANT. Please bring the sergeant out here. I'm asking for the sergeant, sir. I'm asking for the sergeant. >> Get back in the I'm asking for the sergeant. No, I do not. I want to I want to BE TREATED CORRECTLY. HELP. HELP. Help me, please. Help me, please. Arresting me. Please help. >> Help me. >> HELP ME, PLEASE. >> YOU'RE NOT HELPING YOURSELF. >> Get back in the vehicle. >> Sit down. >> You're going to add another charge. You want resistance? >> I'm not a I'm just resisting. >> Tell me what I'm charged with. You have a warrant. You sit down. We'll get you that date. We'll let you know as soon as you sit down. >> Just talk to me, man. >> Sit down. >> Get back in the vehicle. >> I'M RIGHT HERE, MAN. I don't want to >> You sit down. We're going to tell you the date. Sit down. >> Sit. I'm right here. Allow me to Allow me to move my vehicle. My >> sit down. Get your feet in the vehicle about this. Sit down and get your >> God. Help me, man. Get your feet. I'm going right here around the corner. Just please >> can I can Can I TAKE MY VEHICLE AROUND SO IT DOESN'T GET TIRED? >> NOT AT this point. You ruined that one. >> Get your feet. >> After a tough struggle, the officers finally get the suspect under control. But even in the back seat, he refuses to settle down. >> OFFICERS, PLEASE HELP ME. >> YOUR FEET in the vehicle. >> Y'all really doing this to me, man. I can't believe this. Get your >> Don't do that. >> Get your feet in. >> Don't do that. >> Yeah. >> What? He was fine and then wasn't. Do you have a better flashlight? >> No, it's toad. >> They're going to pull you out and search you again. Okay. >> This is the supervisor want to talk to you. Like step out real quick. Check the camera real quick. Nothing on you. Nothing inside of you? >> No, sir. >> Okay. reason I sight get you ever going to stand. >> How you doing? >> Doing all right. >> What's your name? >> Were you asking for a supervisor? >> Yes, I did. >> Screaming off. Let let the whole neighborhood know you >> asked for a supervisor. What's up? >> I was pulled out my vehicle without being notified why. I asked why. They wouldn't tell me. >> We don't have to do that. But keep going. >> I was from my understanding, I'm supposed to be notified. >> Okay. >> The last time I got pulled over, the guy told me said, "Hey, Mr. P, you got a warrant." We can't We can tell you, but we don't we're not required to. >> No. >> Okay. >> Nah. You saying you can, but that's >> We can, but we're not required to. I get it. >> See some things. >> I asked her. She said, "No, I can't tell you." >> Okay. >> I didn't say wouldn't. I said, "I'll explain when you get out." >> I said, "I wanted I said I want to know now, but I was just trying to comply." So, I got out. I said, "Hey, I'm parked down the street. I I'm going right down." >> Uh, I put it in all the money in the front pocket of the backpack. >> Park my car. As they continue talking, the suspect finally settles down. Unfortunately for him, the outcome was already set by his earlier actions. >> Whatever Whatever happened, she said I had one. I said, "Okay, that's fine. I don't know why I had just went to court on the 25th." >> Okay. I just literally went to court. I got >> No, that's what I'm saying. I >> I think it was issued the 28th. >> Today is the 28th. >> It might. Yeah, it might have been issued today. >> 131. Okay. Huh? Copy. >> My traffic signal when I did, bro. >> That's okay. >> And I'm going to be honest with you. I just told you that. So, >> and I I don't But I never met you. You get what I'm saying? Like I don't know how you're going to react when I walk up to your vehicle. I'm by myself and I say, "Yeah, you got a warrant." >> But you don't know that. I don't know you. >> I mean, but what I what >> your warrant was issued yesterday. >> What am I going What was I going to run? >> I mean, I What I'm saying is >> Let's hop back in the car. Okay, >> let's just go get this over. >> Yeah. >> Thank you. He already had an outstanding warrant for possession of illegal substances, but because of how he handled the stop, the suspect was also charged with resisting arrest without violence. Number two, woman pushes her luck during traffic stop. Instant regret. On July 10th, 2024, officers observed a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign, prompting them to pull the driver over. Here's what happened. Come back. >> How's it going? I'm officer SH of the Orlando Police Department.
