These Karens thought the rules were for other people until the law reminded them they're not special. Here are five cases when super entitled Karens get humbled by cops. Number five, woman decides to be a problem and get arrested. Our first case starts with a welfare call, but it quickly turns into something else. Dispatch receives a call from several concerned men about an elderly woman who appears to be intoxicated and trying to drive. When officers arrive at the scene, their goal is simple. Get her home safely and find someone to drive her. Watch how the woman's reaction to the authorities turns the situation in a different direction. >> Hello, miss. I'm with the sheriff's office. How are you? Are you trying to get home? I'm trying to help you get home, so I'm trying to work with you here. Is there someone we can call to come pick you up? So, miss, do you understand that if you can't answer these simple questions, I have to call the fire department to come assess you? >> My two sons are fire department. Okay, >> let's go there. >> Which department do they work for? >> Oh, I have to find them. >> Or we can call them and someone can come pick you up. >> You're not in any trouble right now. We're going to call someone to come pick you up. Simple as that. So, miss, you're not allowed back in this building. >> I'm I'm good with that. >> Okay. >> I wanted to leave an hour ago. >> Okay. Someone's going to have to drive you though. >> Okay. >> All right. Who can we call to come pick you up? >> I have nobody. >> Miss, you understand this is a very simple solution. We call someone to come pick you up and you leave. Here's a simple solution. Follow me, officer. No, and you will see that I'm sober. >> You're not sober. >> You're not sober. >> Yeah. Yeah, I am. >> No. Based off my training experience, you are not sober. >> Based off of my training experience, I'm sober. Plus, then let's go. >> No, that's not that's how it's going to go. >> Miss, you're not driving away. >> Yes, I am. >> No, you're not. >> The situation is clear. The woman is clearly intoxicated and won't be driving herself. But instead of calling someone for a ride, she chooses to make things difficult. >> Trying to get her ride home, but she's failing to identify herself. Are >> you with me? >> Dude, I'm an officer. But to the woman, their concern is nothing but an inconvenience. >> Stop theing madness. I was just like you back in the day. That noise. Get my Get me mying keys and get me in my car. Do you have a driver's license on you? >> Nothing, cuz it's in my car and he's got my key fob. >> Oh, I see. That is a predicament. I'm gonna agree with my partner here and you're not going to be able to drive. >> She's getting tickets tomorrow. >> Let me ask you something. >> If you are a Chicago police officer, do you think that this is representing yourself in a very professional way? You know, common courtesy. >> She went through training. >> I did. >> She went through training. I love it. Girl. Girl. >> No. Oh, >> you're not showing us the same courtesy as a law enforcement officer. So, why are we going to show you the same courtesy? We're all adults here. It's very simple. >> More adult than you are. >> You're not acting like it. >> I've been here 20 minutes and it's getting more and more that you're not sober. >> Oh, stop madness. No, we're not doing this. >> We're doing Grand Avenue and Central 25 right here. >> Even better. >> Wasing with you. >> Still refusing to cooperate and identify herself. The woman sticks to her claims of being a former cop. And that's something the officers don't believe for a second. >> Okay, so let me ask you this. How long ago did you retire? Oh, I think someing old. What the? >> It's enjoying your retirement. That's what it seems like >> actually. >> Okay. So, I'm going to tell you something. That's where I resigned out of. I was there for six years. >> Seven. >> Okay, great. So, I can tell you that you do not work there. >> No, I retired before you were >> Exactly. So, you're not currently a Chicago police officer, but you still should know the common respect that we show each other, >> right? >> I'm showing respect. >> I haven't seen that at all. He's asked you very politely for your name. >> He didn't hear it. >> He chose not to hear it. He's like, "Oh, you're drunk. You're not >> back up from me." No. >> Telling you to back up. No, you I'm telling you to handcuff me and you drag me into the back seat of your squad. >> Why? >> Because you're playing with me right now. >> How? >> I'm golden. >> No, you're not. >> You're alling with me. >> Okay, let me let me picture this. Okay, >> you know what? I'm out. I'm N. >> What are you all going to do? Pick and choose. Let's go. I came here for a glitch out on the Memorial Day and you're a from me because Oh, email showed up. Oh. Oh, what happens when we let you drive and you either a crash or you someone >> that's called an accident? Because accidents happen. >> Not when intoxicated. They're not accidents. >> No, I'm not. Y'all with me? Y'all making me angry. >> That's very unfortunate. >> Okay, >> cuz you've called me a numerous times and I'm not angry. >> Still not giving up, the officers continue trying to reason with the woman, hoping she'll finally decide to cooperate. >> Blue eyes. >> How are we going to get you home? >> I'm driving out of touch. Don't touch. >> Then don't get No, I already told you get away from us. All of us told you to get away from us. >> Give me my keys. >> I'm not giving you your keys. Simple as that. So, your husband's in his and right here to come pick you up. >> I don't have a husband. >> Okay. Okay. Well, and your daughter are on their way to come pick you up. >> My daughter? Which one? >> I don't know. Someone who's legal enough to drive. Well, we have two people coming here to come pick you and the car up. So, even though you weren't cooperative with us, we found a solution for you. >> Y'all told them I wasn't cooperative. >> We used a different term, but yes, >> y'all. I do have to high five you. Can Can I Oh, >> can I high five? Nope. >> All right. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Cuz you all did your job. I respect that. Byebye. >> Unfortunately, we have to babysit. >> She's cute. If I was, I'd be all over that. >> I would not. >> But I'm not. >> I am not. And if I was, I would not be interested. Please don't take any offense. >> Oh, look at her. >> And now the waterworks begin as the woman launches into yet another outburst. They look like belligerent like aggressive >> extremely. >> You can review the body cam footage and see how you've been acting. >> Yeah, you could foil it. You got these rookie people who think like oh this is the most excitement we had like oh no I want to go home. I want to drive mying Elantra home. I don'ting even know where it is because they relocated it. I'ming pissed. Like, >> oh, but we'll take you to a hospital. You want to go home? >> Do you have my key fob? >> I do. He knew my phone was in mying compartment. Oh, this is huge. Oh, lawsuit. >> I got news for you. That's a lawsuit. >> Law suit. Does this have me on camera? Oh, hi. Why would he be in mying phone? Why would he be in mying car? >> Do you want to go to jail? >> Listen, >> you feel like you feel like going to jail today? >> Yes, I do. >> $178. >> Yes, I do. >> Stop. because I leave theing car with limited amount of cash so I can be accountable for how much I drink or not. I said to him, I don't know >> see him. >> Keep going. >> So, why does he have marks on his arm and red all over his body and all of that? Where did that come from? That's her side of the story. Unfortunately, it doesn't match what the officers were told. Before speaking with a woman, they had already spoken with her husband, who had visible marks allegedly from their argument. >> If you're not going to talk to me and tell me what happened, I'm going to have to take his side of what happened. >> I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you. Okay. >> So, how did all of that happen? I came home. I walked in the door and I said, "How's everything going?" I said, "I forgot my phone at the meditation thing." I said, "I need to go back to get it." And he's like, "Whatever." I came back. I walked in the door and he was pissed off. I don't even know why he was mad. I said, "Why are you mad?" >> So, what happened then? Is there a light that I can turn on in here so I can stop holding this? And so, what happened then? >> I told him what happened and he got super pissed off. How did he hit the marks on his arm? >> Is that you defending yourself when he grabbed you by the throat? I'm sorry to waste your time. I I I promise I like I'm not >> Hang on for me for just a second. We're going to sort through this, but we got to figure it out. Okay. >> After speaking with the husband again, the officers have seen enough. The visible injuries are grounds for arrest. And now it's time to let the woman know. And as you might have guessed, the woman doesn't go quietly. >> Janette, do me a favor. We got to get out from under the covers. Do you have shoes that you can put on? >> Why am I getting out from under the covers? >> Because at this point, Janette, you are under arrest. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, you are. Janette, if you resist us, you are under arrest at this point. If you resist, there will be additional charges. You can either put your shoes on, cooperate with us, and do this peacefully. >> Why am I under arrest? >> Domestic battery. >> So, scoot over here and put your shoes on. Janette, I'm giving you an order. Put your shoes on or we will put you in handcuffs and we will carry you out of here. I don't want to do that. >> Can you please stop for one minute? >> What? >> No. I'm putting socks on. >> Where are the socks? >> In my dresser. >> You have to stay in our view right now. Put your shoes on. >> Talk to me. >> Janette, I'm giving you an order. Put your shoes on. >> What is happening? >> You are under arrest for domestic battery. Oh my god, you're hurting my shoulder. >> We wouldn't be in this position if you would have cooperated. >> The cuffs are on. But if you think that means her attitude's gone, think again. Watch how she behaves as officers escort her out of the home. >> You're just making things worse by not >> I >> Let me get that out of your face. Okay. >> Please. Thank you. >> Better. >> Stop pulling away. Stop pulling away. Walk down the stairs. >> Oh my god. What am I supposed to do? >> Oh my god. >> Stop pulling away. >> I I'm I'm falling down the stairs now. >> No, you're not. You're pulling away from me. Let's go from 304. In a similar case, officers are dispatched to a residence for another domestic dispute. This time involving a woman and the father of her children. He goes and makes her a whole cup of sweet tea, which is But he made a whole cup of sweet teas. That's what the argument came from. I said, "Why the make her a whole bottle of sweet tea." And he was like, "Well, I just made her something quick." I'm like, "Bro, no. She don't need nothing sugary right now. She don't need that." So, we started arguing about that. And I'm like, "Well, bro, if you got an issue with me, then just leave." He's like, "Okay, well, I'll leave then." So he started doing and then he was like, "You know what? >> Actually, I'm not leaving. Call the cops on me. Go." I'm like, "Bro, we don't have to do this. When your kids sleep at 3:00 in the morning, we ain't got to argue. We ain't got to be loud. Just leave." Like, "We didn't need this past." Like like I keep tell all the time when I'm mad, just leave and then we can talk about later. But no, he want to sit here and ignite the fire and keep talking and keep talk leaving my house. So now I start throwing like get the out of my house. Get out of my house. He's like, "Well, no, I'm not going over. You're going to call the cops on me." So before I started calling the cops, you got to show up. I'm like, "Well, there look at God." >> Okay. >> Look at guy. >> Okay. >> After hearing her side, the officers are still unsure how to move forward. For now, they retrieve the man's belongings at his request before moving forward with the investigation. What else in here it says? Is it this is it does he have anything else in here that belongs to him? >> I mean he got shoes and little clothes but not really. >> Okay. Uh he was saying he wants to get his stuff and whatnot. Um okay. How long has he been staying here for? >> I mean off and on for like >> I don't know. Been working for like 6 months now. >> 6 months. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So he's been living here on and off for 6 months. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Just when he needs to. >> Okay. Give me like two seconds. I'll be right back in here with you. Okay. >> What uh what do you have all in there? >> Uh just my shoes. Little little knickknack. My shoes. >> You just take a couple steps back real quick and we'll let you get all that stuff. Okay. I just need to speak with him real fast. >> A brief exchange between officers leads to a final call. Once they made their decision, they head back to the woman. And that's when another confrontation begins. >> Ma'am, I never got your name. Where's your name? >> Maya. Okay. Do you have any clothes that you could put on >> for what? >> So, here's the deal. And I'm going to be straight up honest with you. Okay. And I don't want to do this in front of the kids right now. You're going to be placed under arrest for domestic battery. Okay. >> Yes. You already told me you struck him with the stuff. Okay. He's got marks all over his face. So, that being said, okay, there's multiple ways we can handle this. All right. One, I don't want your kids to have to get taken anywhere. He is the father of three of the four kids. It It's up to you really, I guess. I mean, he kind of has residency here since he's been staying for 6 months, so we can't force him to leave. But instead of your kids getting taken right now, he should stay here with the kids to ensure their safety. Okay. You have in my when I told him to leave now, he just >> I'm not seen. He antagonized me the whole time though. >> I'm asking you to stay calm. >> No, I'm not staying calm. >> Okay. Wait, he's the tag guy in my house. He's >> the deal. Okay, whatever you guys have going on. All right, that's between you two. As of right now, we obviously got called. You mattered him. You admitted to me that you did. Okay, for the kid's safety, then he should be here over the night until you get out. Okay. >> Can y'all leave so I can put my clothes? >> So, we can't leave. All right. Where are your clothes? >> I don't know. That's all over the house. Not, man. Move. Y'all just stay right there. Stand outside so I can put >> We're not leaving you at this point. Okay. So, if you need to go get on clothes, >> I can't even leave. I can't even go to my back door. So, where am I going to run? >> Where am I going to run? >> I could go get a pair of pants or something for you, sweatpants, whatever. >> You guys hate police here. I swear to God an hour ago. None of this happened. Y'all don't see that. He antagonized. I'm getting the one arrested. Move. >> We're not going anywhere. We can't see you. That just >> Okay, follow me then. Get up. >> Her emotions are running high, but for now, the officers give her space, hoping she'll calm down on her own. Hey, I'm not going nowhere without you. So, wait for the while I get dressed. Nope. Turn around then. >> I will do this first time. Okay. >> Great. Thanks. Just left. Y don't talk to him about that though. Sir, why you still here antagonizing her? >> Why are you still here antagonizing her? >> What you talking? >> Exactly. Why don't you watch my kid? Tell him to do that. about my baby at 2:00 in the morning about the baby. So you going to trust me to watch my kid though? Swear like I got move. >> The officers have shown plenty of patience, but at this point they're done playing nice. >> Stop right there. Okay. >> Can I put my shoe on? Can I put my shoe on? Like, what is your problem? >> Doing nothing for being nothing but nice to you. >> I can't put my shoe on, bro. >> So, I can't put my shoe on. You're in my way. You get the out of my way. My way. Can you get any tighter? >> Well, you keep playing. So, >> it ain't going nowhere. >> Stop going nowhere. >> Won't stop moving. We cannot move. >> My sho That's all I'm about to do. >> Can I put these ones on first? No, she'll be fine. >> How many times? >> Well, if you keep moving, it's going to >> Oh, shut up. >> He called me one in custody. >> We're in custody. I >> hate police here. >> Said I'm 60. >> My god, this our first rodeo >> one in custody. You did this a million times. I wish you 10 for. Thank you. Come on. >> No shoes. >> You can put on your shoes. >> How? >> Okay. Now, >> how am I supposed to put on my shoes? I can't help. >> Come on. >> Just go. Nope. >> We got to give you an opportunity. We're going to be nice to you and then you do shut up. >> Can you move out the way so we open the door? >> Another Jewish arrest. >> Can you just put her in my squad? >> Yeah. >> And through it all, the woman's attitude toward the officers never changed. [Music] >> That will be that'll be nice to him. >> Oh, hold on. Before you go anywhere, I have to double lock them. Stop moving. >> Double lock. My god. >> Yo, the more you move, it took you to more. >> Bro, you should have been. I guess your first rodeo, >> man. You love, huh? >> You like to talk. >> Are y'all done? I close the door. >> Enjoy your night. Okay. >> Yep. This way. Hang right. Go in that door right there. Hello. >> Hello. >> Set the seat >> on the bench or stand over there. One of the two. Whatever you want to do. In the end, the woman was charged with resisting arrest and domestic battery. Number two, customer ends the night with an arrest. We've all made poor choices while drunk, but in Indian River County, Florida, one man's belligerent behavior at a bar escalated enough to bring in law enforcement. According to the staff, the man was acting disorderly and started a fight. When officers arrived, they broke it up and moved in to detain him. And now here's what happened as backup arrived. [Applause] >> Don't with us, man. >> I'm not doing nothing you up. Do you understand that? >> I'm not doing nothing. Ask questions first. ask. Stop it. Now you're getting charges. You >> I'm not doing nothing. >> Oh yeah. >> You can't breathe, man. >> You can't what? Breathe. >> Stop fighting. Let me go. >> He's on my stomach and I can't breathe. >> If you stop fighting, we'll roll you over. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Okay, I'll do it by myself. >> Put your hands behind your back. All right, let go. Stop. Stop moving. >> You got it. >> Yep. >> Dude, get the my stomach. Yeah. >> Even getting the man into handcuffs is a struggle, and his continued resistance isn't making things any easier. >> Can I get up now? >> I can do it by myself. >> Yeah. >> No. By myself. >> Stop moving. >> Stop moving. >> I can't breathe. Janette, call the cops. >> Who do you think we are? >> I don't know who the you are. You tell me. >> Anybody at home? >> I don't I got one of my truck over there. Grab it. >> Who the are you? >> What's your name? >> I want I want your supervisor here now. No. you low. >> No, tonight >> call my lawyer. >> All right, let's pick him up and let's take >> I can do it by myself. I don't need you guys. >> Yes. >> Okay, stand up. >> Let me go, please. >> You already cut me. Let me go. >> Go over on your side. >> No, >> I can do it by myself. >> No, let me go. >> Dude, I didn't do that. Let me get up. What? >> Nothing. >> What? Hurry on. >> I want you. >> I want your supervisor's name and I want him here. The sergeant >> sergeant >> now. >> I can't breathe. Stop pushing my stomach. >> Stop moving. >> 2335. The officers are doing their best to rein him in, but the man shows no signs of backing down. >> Stop with my stomach. >> Hold on. >> Can't breathe. >> Get some [ __ ] calm down. >> Missing you. I can't breathe. And you're pushing my stomach. >> Stop. >> Let me breathe. >> Put your feet back. Spread your feet again. >> These handcuffs are really tight. >> Yeah, cuz you're fighting with us. >> I'm not fighting with you guys. >> What do you think our body cam? Huh? >> And what are you guys doing to me? >> Are you arresting me? >> Yes, you're under arrest. >> Okay. Why? >> Because you're fighting with officers now. >> Okay. Janette, call my lawyer. >> You want to put him in the rap? >> Call my lawyer. Janette, >> put your feet in. part. I need a lawyer now. >> All right, let me figure out what the >> With the man finally detained and in the police car, the officer now asks one of the staff to know what happened before they arrived. >> All right, so I found out from the manager that the guy in the black polo is still sitting there is a repeat offender at this bar. But the way it started was we were just talking and whatnot. Um the Hispanic male um that you guys uh detained um uh he was just coming in order. So he was like, "Is there a drive-thru?" And I thought I thought he was we thought he was joking or whatever. And so the guy in the black hole was like, "No, there's no drive-thru." But he was starting to get like, you know, like all serious and whatnot. Um, a little bit like I'm like maybe he thinks there's a drive-thru, you know, cuz there's walk up windows or something like that at some restaurants. He's like, "Yeah, man. I'm just here to get food." He was saying and then um I don't I I forget what the uh initial trigger word that he said. I don't I don't He didn't really say anything, but then he got started getting defensive. He's like, "Oh, I saw you starting that that that with the drive-thru and stuff. I'll kick your man." And and he's like, "Hey, man. I'm just here to order food." And so then uh he's like, "What? You you want to you want to you want to start something? You want to the the the white male?" And then he's like, >> "Who's the white male? He's in a black polo um at the bar right now. >> Okay. He's a customer. >> Um he apparently he's been here before and he's started stuff before. The manager just told me to kind of just stay away from him. >> Um and so cuz I was like, "Man, come on. Don't don't start anything and everything." And then I just moved because it started getting up. So I moved away from from them. Um but then they were like so they got in each other's face um like next to the bar. and they start, you know, pushing and then um somehow they ended up towards the back >> of the bar. Um and then that's when um the first punt guy in the backwest um and um so the guy in the yellow cap, he's still at the bar, he's at the right side, um was the one who got uh him to the ground so that way he wouldn't start anymore and then he calmed down. >> Before leaving for the station, officers make sure to get the full story. this time from the person who was on the other end of the altercation. >> But um >> did his punch connect? Did you see it? >> Um yeah. >> Where? >> I'm pretty sure it was the face. >> The face. Okay. >> So, >> just do you have your ID on you, bud? >> Yeah. >> And I sat at my store finishing my beer and that was it. There was no real punches thrown. It was more me defending and bumping me. Bumping me. And I remember you guys. >> After he bumped me a few times, I I pushed him away from me after he bumped me. I witnessed about that >> cuz the the other party just >> want me trespassed? >> Yes, I thought he trespassing. >> So question that witness said that that other male >> I know I was I was talking to he was that other kid was with me. That's when the whole thing started is when we left he got offended. That's like there's no drive-thru at Applebees. I mean he got offended by that. That's how the whole thing started. >> Okay. So that witness that was in there said that that male threw a punch at you. Is that correct? >> Yes. Well, first he kept on bumping me. Yeah, he connected a little bit. Nothing crazy. >> You have a mark on you? >> No, it was skim me and I I I hit it hit my elbow. >> Do you want to press charges? >> No. It's all water under the bridge. >> Okay. >> Did he hit you? He hit you, >> huh? He hit you. >> He tried to lunge back. >> Okay. >> So, but he doesn't want to press but we still have it on. >> We got resistance. Is he Is he intoxicated? >> Oh yeah, he looks >> intox. He's going to come first. >> He's shaking. >> I got it. >> I'll take today is a good day. Same thing. Guys, all up in his face to get him on the ground. So >> I respect the guy. >> That's my thing. >> In the end, the man was charged with battery and resisting arrest. Number one, veteran thinks she's above the law. In this case, what appears to be a straightforward traffic stop takes an unexpected turn. Officers spot a gray jeep with a fake plate. and inside a child is sitting in the back seat without a seat belt. They immediately decide to confront the driver, but instead of cooperation, they're met with resistance. What happens next turns a minor violation into a major arrest. [Music] >> Can you roll your window down for me? >> Uh, no, ma'am. Can you roll your window down for me? >> No. >> Okay. I need to talk to you a little bit more. So that's why I wanted it. And can you also turn your music down? >> Okay. >> Ma'am, I'll be asking the questions. Okay. >> I'm officer Lee with Orlando Police Department. The reason you're being pulled over >> 47245. >> You're being pulled over because this young man right here is not in the seat belt. Also, your tag is not coming back to anything. I'm almost home. >> Okay. Did you just understand what I told you while you're being pulled over? >> I heard what you said. >> Okay. May I see your driver's license, your registration, and your proof of insurance? Ma'am, >> I lost my driver's license. >> Out of what state was it from? >> And how long ago did you lose it? >> I really would like if you cut your music down so I can hear you. >> You can hear me. >> Well, with you making this a little difficult, I'm going to have to pull you out of the car if you can't if you can't confirm who you are. So, I want to know there's some there's some questions that I need to ask you and I rather have your music down so I won't have to yell. >> I can give you my name. >> Okay, we'll just wait for another unit here. >> Ma'am, turn the car off. >> I'm not I don't feel comfortable with y'all. This is like No, no, not open that car door. >> No ma'am. >> No, I am not getting out the car. I don't I'm not done. I'm not doing anything for me. >> I don't feel comfortable with y'all. I have my No, that's fine. >> I have my rights, >> but I do not feel comfortable with any of this. I lost all my information just a few days ago. >> Well, ma'am, the first thing you don't you don't dictate us how we do a traffic stop. >> I Yes, I do. Cuz I don't feel comfortable. Yes, I do. I already went through this with somebody else. >> Understand that? >> No, I don't feel comfortable. >> Okay. >> And yes, I'm going to do this in front of my kids. No. >> The driver's refusal to comply has turned a basic traffic stop into something far more serious. Surrounded by officers, she's about to learn why resisting only makes things worse. >> No, I don't feel comfortable. Thank you. >> Ma'am, you you really don't want to do this. >> So, y'all going to yank me out my car? >> Ma'am, we're telling you by law to get out of the vehicle. We are >> by law. >> By law, we're allowed to control the occup because you don't have registration. >> Information for you. >> You won't turn off the vehicle like we don't. >> So, now we're asking you to step out of the vehicle. >> Oh. No, I'm calling my husband. >> Ma'am, >> I don't feel >> I've already told you why you've been pulled over. Okay. >> Okay. Give me the ticket. >> Okay. I can't even confirm who you are right now. >> I just told you I can give you my name. >> Stop it. Stop. Stop. >> Stop. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> No. >> Put your hands behind your back. I'm making no I'm still out of y'all. >> You better pull my dress up. >> Yes, ma'am. We have a female that'll be able to protect you. Okay. >> All right. Let's get her up. >> No, don't get me up cuz I'm fix. Come check her legs. >> Do me a favor. Double lock. That was my pull something. Oh, it's just a cramp. >> That was too hard. >> All you need to do is >> I already went through y'all before. >> I same concept. I told the other officer the same thing. Put your dress up. >> I told officer. Get my um Marine Corps um tag off of there. Trying to get it. There you go. Where is it? Let me get the other side first. Make sure it doesn't fall down. >> It's not It's not that kind of dress. Nope. >> Okay. Just want to make sure everything. >> All right. Is she covered under there? Let's get her out. >> Being in cuffs hasn't changed the woman's attitude. As you'll soon see, she'll continue making things difficult for the officers. >> Come on up. >> Bend your knees. Sit up. No. Sit up. There you go. Come on up. >> Thank you. >> Do you have any identification in that car? >> I got a palog tag. >> Okay, that's not an identification. >> It is. Y'all got five of y'all >> for one little bitty person. >> A whole different way if you just gave your ID. >> I didn't have no ID. >> Okay. You got to be able to provide an ID. If you don't have one, I got a common law. I still not answer anything. >> That's not how it works. You got to be able to show us who you are. You can't just drive a vehicle and not know who you are. >> So now you're going to jail for something so simple. Cuz you don't want to listen. It's not because of us. It's because of you. >> No, it's not because of me. >> You could have been two lawsuits against y'all about this. >> Just put that on my uh front seat. >> It's the same thing. Oh yeah. >> Violate every constitutional right. That's fine. >> Promise you we're not violating. >> Yes, you are. My right to travel, >> my right to privacy. You yanked me out of my car. You reached your hand inside of my private vehicle. I get automobile. I apologize for that. So, you're going to be able to see five other cops to me. >> All right, man. I'm going to read you something. Can you hear me? >> I can. >> You got a right to remain silent. Do you understand? >> Mhm. >> Anything you say may be used in court. Do you understand? >> You have a right to talk to a lawyer before and during question. Do you understand? >> Mhm. >> If you cannot afford a lawyer and want one, one will be provided to you before question or without charge. Do you understand? >> Mhm. >> Has anyone threatened you or promised you anything to get you to talk to me? >> Do you want to talk about today? >> I need a yes or no answer. Hoping to make her understand the reality of the situation, the officer begins to explain how one choice after another led to her arrest. But it's a one-sided conversation. The woman shows no interest in hearing him out. >> You want to talk about the famous Hawkins? >> I want to call my husband. >> Okay. Well, I think he's actually coming to get your sons. Those are your sons in the vehicle? >> Mhm. Okay. Um, so once he gets here, I'll let you talk to him. But do you want to talk about why you're in the back of my car in handcuffs? >> Nope. >> No. >> No. I do not want to talk about that. >> All right. Uh, to let you know, you are under arrest right now. Um, in the state of Florida, you must have the vehicle properly registered. I ran your tag that says it seems to have some type of characters that look like private. Um, that's not a tag that somebody is going to give you in the state of Florida. Um, also when I'm asking for your driver's license, um, and I'm asking you to turn down the vehicle so I can hear your name and your date of birth a little properly, instead of you having the music out loud, that's just so I can hear you a little bit better. Um, you have not been identified at that time. I still need to make sure I get a photograph of you. Um, just because you give me some information that says, um, >> I didn't give you any information. In fact, you didn't even ask me my name. You just kept asking to have my music turned down, which I told you no. >> Everything's on body camera. >> I know it's on body camera. So, we're going to talk about that when we go. >> I ask you for your name and ID. You know, >> I rather have your ID so I can get a picture. >> I give you my name. I don't have any ID. I told you that I lost it. So, if you want to sit here and continue to make up little stuff and make your case better, then go ahead. >> Well, there's no case that I need to make. >> It is a case because it's going to be a big case. This is fine. 81400. >> I gave you my name. >> Okay. >> Well, I'm just letting you know why you're in the back seat. Okay. When we tell you that you also need to cut the car off and that you need to come back to us, we're allowed to do that. >> I don't need to come out of my private automobile to >> But that's your opinion. But I'm telling you what the law is. >> That's not an opinion. That's a No, not by constitution. >> Okay. Well, you are under arrest and you will be transported to the jail. >> Yeah. >> And we will go from there. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. The conversation ended with a woman still acting defiantly against the officers. >> Can you uh slide her seat belt over to me on the other side? >> I don't need >> Well, I'm going to put one on for you. >> Well, just in case we get into a wreck, I'm going to put my your seat belt on. Okay. >> Can I have the female do it? I want the female to do it. I want the female. >> Everything's on body camera. Ma'am, you will be a-ok. Okay. >> How you doing, boss? >> Yeah. >> Really good. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> What I have is my my my all my permits. They might >> I confirm them on my computer. He's registered to the the VIN. >> Yes. Of the vehicle. >> He's registered to the Okay. Um but you don't have a I was talking about for the tag. Remember the takeway that is in other vehicles and I have a business and what was going on is that I had all that in the vehicle and I let my buddy keep the truck. >> Okay. >> And everything is in. >> You're supposed to have your registration in the vehicle. >> Okay. I know what I'm supposed to do, sir. >> I understand that. I understand what I'm supposed to do. >> Okay. >> But you said one of you said that my wife resisted. >> Yes. That was me. And that's because she's she's terrified of you guys. >> Well, I mean, she still got to she still got to abide by the law. I mean, I'm telling her to get out the vehicle >> and she's saying no. And then when we try to get out of the vehicle, she can't swing and hit at the police. >> I'm just I'm just telling you, you can't do that. >> You follow what I'm saying? We wouldn't even be here if she would have just gave the the officer identification uh and just comply with what he what we were requesting. Excuse me. Here you go. So that's the thing last >> Are we done with the traffic and stuff? >> I am. >> I don't I don't want to reach around in the vehicle. We done with it. >> Are you serious? >> Yes, sir. >> I'm a United States Marines. I did 27 years, dude. I'm not going to do anything. >> Yeah. I got a family bunch of families been in the room. Okay. >> So, we're done with the traffic. Here's my car. Okay. All right. The woman may have resisted every step of the way, but her husband proves to be far more understanding. >> Your mother's wallet in there. >> Okay. >> All right. I appreciate it, y'all. [Music] I heard somebody going off. >> Okay. This is >> That's your That's a That's a universal ID card. >> Universal. What a >> common law courts. >> Okay, I got you. Okay. >> All right. This issue code. >> Uh Mr. Hawkins, she was requesting a bottle of water. Do you have a bottle of water in the car? Is there a bottle of water in there? Yeah, sir. [Music] >> Thank you. >> All right, sir. Um, but the only thing is is that you can't drive this on the roadway. Okay. So, we don't want to be back in this position again. >> Okay. >> Thanks, buddy. You'll stand by now. >> Yeah. Yeah. Hey man, that's some nice football you got on there, man. >> Oh, I appreciate it, buddy. All right, man. You want a couple drinks? >> Yes, it is. >> Thank you. >> All right, your husband here. He's going to take your sons. Okay. >> Okay. Can I speak to him? >> I'll roll down the window real quick. I'll roll down the >> You want him to work? >> All right. >> With everything in place, the officers begin wrapping up the last details of the case. >> Go ahead, ma'am. All right, Lee. >> I appreciate it, y'all. >> Yes, sir. >> Go ahead, tell them what you need. >> Go ahead and uh post the bail. >> I'm going to do that right now, baby. That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to leave from here. And I'm going to go post your bail. >> It's going to take like 3 4 hours just to let you know processing and >> Okay. And I'll get that straight away and and I'll come get you when they let you go. Okay. Okay, just just relax. >> I'm I I don't have my blood pressure medicine. So, >> you don't have your medicine? >> No, I don't have my inhaler. So, >> we'll address all that at the jail. I'm trying to go I will try to work with her on the bond, but we'll address that at the jail. >> Medical treatment right now. >> If she >> in the end, the woman was charged with driving on a suspended license and resisting arrest with violence. What's your verdict? Let me know in the comments and I'll see you in the next video. As always, stay safe out there, folks.
