Surviving in this economy can be tough, but these folks had the wrong idea of hustling. Watch these [music] moments when shoplifters think they can steal until cops arrive. Teenagers try the shoplifting trend. Police showed up. On February 21st, 2025, officers responded to a local Target after staff reported two teenagers openly shoplifting inside the store. Here's what happened when officers arrived. All right, both of y'all are detained right now. You're not free to leave. Right over there. What's your name? Because you're under you're being stopped for shoplifting. Tell me your name. All right, let me see that purse. Well, we're taking it. All right. Put your hands BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> [laughter] >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> [screaming] [crying] >> PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. PUT YOUR HANDS PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. SISTER, come back here. No, YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. STOP. >> [laughter] >> I'LL GET YOU UP NOW. NOW, SIT DOWN. NO, you're going to jail. Now, YOU'RE GETTING A FELONY. FELONY OBSTRUCTION, YOU OFFERED VIOLENCE TOWARDS DESPITE CLEAR EVIDENCE RIGHT IN front of them, one of the suspects decides [music] to take things a step further. That's a looks like you went to another Target earlier. Sit down. SIT DOWN. NO, YOU'RE GOING TO SIT DOWN. YOU ARE UNDER ARREST. You cannot KEEP GETTING UP. YEAH, YOU NEED TO CALL SOMEBODY TO COME GET THE BABY. HEY, did she Hey, did she participate today? >> [crying] >> DID THEY BOTH PARTICIPATE? All right, somebody needs to come. Somebody needs to come get the baby. Did you want Are you assisting? This is 9:32 in the morning. So, she was here at 9:32 You don't control the situation. No, no, you shut YOUR ASS UP. YOU You're putting YOUR FINGER IN MY FACE. WHAT DID you upset your kid IN FRONT OF? YOU ARE UNDER ARREST. YOU'RE NOT CALLING >> [laughter] [crying] >> I'M PROBABLY GOING TO NEED HELP GETTING HER CAR. SHE'S GOING TO FIGHT AGAIN. >> [crying] [crying] [crying] >> Even as her child shows signs of distress, the suspect's behavior only becomes more difficult to watch. >> [crying] >> The subtotal is 199.99. Have you done a shop No, this will be evidence. And he'll send me the video later cuz I have a direct link. Have you ever done a shoplifting before? Okay, so the total amount is going to be 199.99. You don't You don't add the tax in. I'm running their criminal history. I don't think they've probably ever been arrested for shoplifting. They said they haven't. If there's no other shoplifting on there, it'll be misdemeanor shoplifting for both. And then she's got obstruction. I think he said felony. Listen, you got to chill out. This is my child. I mean, she's certainly got obstruction. But, hang on. Hang on. Let me Let me talk for a second. Let me talk for a second, okay? Calm down, miss, please. I'm trying to give you the option here of between a year in prison or not a year in prison. All right, so if you chill out and you stay calm with us, then I'll just call it misdemeanor since you're so small. It's not like you're really going to hurt me. I think misdemeanor's probably a little better. Yeah. So, you'll be charged with misdemeanor obstruction and shoplifting. You'll just be charged with shoplifting. As long as you stay chill. But, I wasn't trying to >> And you were trying to grab your purse from me. All right, argue it argue it one more time and it's felony. When the police are here and you're stopped, we can take your purse and you can't grab it from us. I'm sure you don't. I don't like when you steal. Look, when you're stopped by the police committing a crime, You lose control of the situation when you get caught committing a crime. It didn't have to go like that. It could have just been a simple shoplifting, but you started trying to grab something from us. Well, there could have been a gun in there. I'm not going to I didn't say you would, but we don't know that. We don't know that. The officers explain the situation clearly, but one of the suspects keeps responding in a way that doesn't help their case. We're not here cuz we want to be. We're not here cuz we want to be. We're here cuz of what you guys did. It's not like I was like, "Let me go get miss whatever your name is and let me go mess around with her at Target." All right? We're here cuz you. Not me. I was totally going to go eat some food right now. You guys do with the merchandise Y'all just sell it? Or is it personal use? Oh, don't even do that. Don't even play a race card when you're literally stealing out of Target. Unreal. No responsibility whatsoever. Okay, it is felony, I guess, then. That's just what we asked everybody cuz you're playing a race card. Okay. Okay, so what do y'all do with the merchandise once you take Just for use? Have you ever been to Tennessee? It's a theft by deception charge from Barry County in Tennessee. I don't know. It's theft by deception and what that means is like you stole by trickeration. I I don't know. Have you been to Barry County, Tennessee, outside of Nashville? Well, it's your date your name and your date of birth. We'll We'll get to the bottom of that, but it's a How old are you? Yeah, it says 32705. It says felony theft by deception warrant for you. Well, I Look, I'm not going to say it's never happened. Somebody could have gave your name. Have you ever even been to Tennessee? While you were up there, did you do something like stay at a hotel and didn't pay or something weird like that? Was it in your name or something? Listen, I don't know what happened cuz it's up there. As the officers dig deeper, they find something unexpected [music] connected to the other suspect. They took a warrant on you. You're going to have to get to the bottom of it. Somebody Somebody took a theft by deception warrant against you. So, listen, you'll have your chance to take care of that, but we have nothing to do with that. When we just checked your name, it came up. It just said one theft Now, it sounds like they want you, so it looks like you'll go to our jail and they'll come get you. Well, unless some And listen, unless somebody may be able to call up there and figure it out. But he's got Carlos, this is my lieutenant. He'll probably need to see the video. And I'll get you this video and I'll save it. This one. This was a use of force. She She was in here, too, though. So, let me tell you what's going on. So, they were shoplifting and they're putting makeup in a purse, so she's going to jail here for misdemeanor shoplifting. Do you get What the you stealing? What are you doing at Target? We supposed to be boycotting Target. Why are you here? Why are you here? I ain't talk I'm talking about today. I said today. Why are you in here stealing? Hello. Makeup? Socks and razors. >> [snorts] >> You don't have You can't afford that? I can't. So, what what No, I don't know. What did they have, sir? Just these this makeup, socks, and razors. And I think this little perfume stuff. So, it's like maybe $260 worth of stuff. They were like working together, handing to each other or something. They both go for shoplifting, but You thought you were going to get away with this entire thing? It's a misdemeanor shoplifting here, but like I said, it sounds like the stuff she's got up there is a little more serious cuz it's a felony. The suspect's parents arrive, and [music] fortunately for the officers, they take a firm, reasonable stance on the situation. It does say full extradition, so that that means If it says full extradition, usually that means If you get arrested in California, they'll come get you. A lot of places it ain't like that, so I'm going to need you to be honest about these things. She's been She's been acting like she has no clue. She really is. I didn't know I had to say my name. It could have been something the person she was with did it and they charged them both. I was asking if she stayed at a hotel and maybe like they stayed in the hotel under a false name. But she said it wasn't under her name. Maybe It It could have been something as stupid as the girl who you were with, maybe she gave a fake name and paid with a stolen credit card. I don't know. It could be something like that. >> know why she would do anything. How long did y'all stay there? Like two or three days. That's in September. I really I tried to call and just see what the warrant said cuz she She's been acting the whole time. She really has been acting like she doesn't know what it's about, so But like I said, I would just Google Berrien County, Tennessee, maybe call them and what once they confirm the hold, maybe they'll tell you a little more. Um cuz But yeah, they're not going to come pick her up. They could come this weekend, but I doubt it. See that thing? I didn't see that thing worn on her. I didn't see it worn for her for that plate, so it may be something like Are you sure she didn't get the hotel under your name and didn't pay? I don't know. I wish I could help you. I I tried. I called them, but Don't Don't Let's not sweat it. We'll get She needs to hang with. I TOLD I DON'T NEED YOU CRYING. Ain't no need you crying. You said what number was? Listen. Ain't nothing I can do, Tamara. You know better. I mean, I can try. But there I can't get you out. You got caught here doing some stupid So, you got to deal with it. You know better. For one of the suspects, the situation became a tough lesson in how quickly things can spiral when you're around the wrong crowd. Both are charged with retail theft, but the louder suspect faces added charges for battery on law enforcement and [music] resisting arrest with violence. Caught in 4K, now he's crying. On October 27th, 2024, [music] officers responded to a local Dollar Tree after staff reported a suspicious male customer acting in a concerning manner. Here's what happened when officers arrived. What do you say? He says he's dealt with him before in an old job that he had, not at this store. Okay. I think he's probably hiding something in his jacket. Okay, did you see him put anything in the jacket? Um it looked like But I can't 100% be sure cuz I can't just walk up to him and search him. So, you don't know if you don't You didn't visually see him take anything. And then it looked like he went like this. He put it in. So, he's already taken He first had a coffee in his hand. He was stealing Starbucks coffee. Did you Did you guys trespass him from the business? Is he allowed Um I have it Like I said, this is my first time dealing with him here. Okay. This is the second time dealing with him. What is he wearing right now? He's wearing like a black and white hat and a sweater. Okay. Okay. Is that gentleman right there? How you doing, sir? My name is Officer Salazar with the West End Police Department. This is Officer Lozada with the West End Police Department. Officer Correa is over here as well, okay? Um we have reason to believe that you may be shoplifting as per one of the employees here. All right. At any point in time did you stuff something into your jacket? Uh Yeah, yeah, I have a Gatorade. As the officers meet with [music] staff, they learn more about the suspect's past, including prior interactions involving law enforcement. Yeah, so you did stuff But But it was mine. I came in with it. So, okay. Let's Let's just Let's just Yeah, just do us a favor. For right now, just put these items down. Okay, so just drop Put the items down. Put your items down. I got money. I haven't even kept my little score. Yeah, but concealing it on your person is is akin to shoplifting, sir. Okay, but put them over there. All right. Right now, you're being detained, okay? That's all for this store. Insulin? You guys want to You want to proceed with complaints? Okay. Okay. One question from the officers throws him off, and the suspect suddenly becomes emotional. Did you see anybody else? Check right there. What do I do with the stuff in your pants, man, or in your jacket? It's that simple. It was the Gatorade and the uh Gatorade, it looks like that cream that's in there, too. You think you want to make me a prisoner for this? I just need a receipt. Thank you. Do you want to give me some of those those items still? That's all for this Thank you, officer. Put all all the other stuff in here. I'm going to ask if this is Shoplifting right here. >> Is that theirs? The officers proceed with a search and soon find items that complicate things further for the suspect. Stand up. Stand up. Get up. Get up. We're not playing this game. Put him in the car. Put him in the car. >> [snorts] >> No. Huh? All right. Have a seat, man. Come on. With the situation starting to go his way, the suspect takes his emotions [music] to the next level. Do whatever I can to accommodate you, make this experience as less painful than it can be, but you have to understand you made a bad choice and these are the consequences of that choice. It's that simple, boss. A dollar, 100 dollars, it doesn't matter. You made a choice. Now, stand by it, bro. I didn't make a choice because I didn't come out of this store. I never came out of this store. I never concealed the item in the You keep on walking with bags and there's stuff inside their bags. It's the same thing, pops, and you know it. Yes, I do. Yes. Yeah, I don't want you. It's all right. You want some sanitizer? What you going to do? I don't have anything. What he was doing in Walmart You saw him so you saw him. They came around the corner. It's terrible. Yeah, that's when he stole the $10 item because if not I would have got a basket. I think he's going to be a hospital watch, watch. The suspect continues making emotional appeals, but the officers remain composed. You got You got the info for the guy that Yep, we're good. Awesome. Thank you, bro. Let's get it done. >> it. Get it done. Let's get it done. You know he's going to be a hospital watch, right? Yes, sir. Oh my god. Can I leave that overnight thing on again? Sir, will you please step out? Okay, we're going to get the ambulance for you, okay? Okay. Okay. Just walk inside. Just walk inside, all right, sir? Guys, can you step out, please? Thank you. Okay. I didn't add everything. I just added the three things that you hidden in your in your pockets. What three things? It was just the Gatorade. The ice cream, the Gatorade, and then like that bottle of whatever it was. All right. Take a seat right here, all right, brother? You're going to be okay. Following the incident, the suspect [music] was taken into custody and charged with retail theft. Shoplifter runs like he's in a movie and fast. On June 8th, 2024, [music] officers responded to a local Home Depot after staff reported an ongoing shoplifting incident involving a suspect who appeared to be going back for more trouble. Here's what happened when officers arrived. Yeah, I got you. until until he comes out because that's the policy that that we we ask because he's looking at him. He said Yeah, but he said he approached him already. Mohamed already stopped him, I think. Or want me to bring him out? Did Mohamed stop him? Well, Mohamed told me right now to come out and tell you guys to wait until he comes out. Then I don't know. I mean, then he should have called him. And he said he said No, I thought he said he couldn't stop him. Yeah, I know. Shoplifter in Walmart. Where is Mohamed? Where is Mohamed? He's over there. He's over there. The guy was over there. Did the guy already pass? Oh, he's already outside. He was right over there. You got him? I got him. I got him. Right here, right now. What you wearing? How much is it? How much? The officers meet with store staff to gather details, but to everyone's surprise, the suspect is nowhere to be found. Yeah. Yo. Yo, come over here. Come over here. Yo, COME OVER HERE. ALL RIGHT. 45, I GOT HIM. WAITING FOR MY BACKUP SO I CAN CUFF HIM. CRAZY. CRAZY? What's wrong with you? I got you. We're good. Outside extra space storage. We got him in 40 custody outside extra space storage. All right, bro. After tracking him down, officers make contact, but it's clear the suspect has a different idea of how this will go. Right outside Extra Space Storage. You have body custom. You hurt? You need EMS? You got anything on you? You dropped it. Yes? Huh? Cookie, dude. My name is my body camera is active right now. Sir, read your rights. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you can't afford one, one will be provided to you. Do you understand your rights? Do you speak Spanish? Spanish? You got anything else on you? You got anything else on you? Guys, you have a house? How do you have a car here? Jared, what is "right outside" in Spanish? Despite having him in handcuffs, the officers soon encounter another obstacle. Huh? There you go. That was in his front waist badge. You got anything else on you? All right, go ahead, sir. After working through the language [music] barrier, the situation is finally clear, and all that's left is for the suspect to face the consequences [music] of his actions. What's up? I'm going to go back to uh Home Depot. Who's going to get the video? For what? Who's going to get the video? Uh somebody's there talking? Yeah, Shaffer's getting the video. All right, so we're going to get the video. I didn't know that. Yeah, so we Stop. Huh? Do you need anything else, though? I want water. I want I want water. You deny I He says he's fine, so I just want to make sure he didn't mess again, cuz he's calmer now, too, so You said something already? Yeah, that's actually his. Upon further investigation, the officers found out that the suspect had outstanding warrants totaling around $3,000. However, just for this case, he was charged with shoplifting, fleeing and eluding, and resisting arrest without violence. Walmart shoplifter tried playing smart. Police played smarter. On February 25th, 2025, officers responded to a local Walmart after staff reported spotting a woman on surveillance attempting to leave with multiple concealed items. [music] Here's what happened when officers confronted her. Well, there's there's plenty of reasons. I don't care. It's my child. She works here. Everybody knows me. I don't have a warrant on me. I'm always in here. This is the first time this ever happened. I've never been involved. Never been arrested. Sherry at the at the customer service knows me and and my little family that I come in here with. So, I mean, I've never had this happen. That's why I told him I was You have no identification on you? I I just got out of the hospital a couple hours ago. >> you have no identification. >> No, I don't. I I What were you in the hospital for? A few ill. Okay. Just I'm not trying to get personal. I'm um do me a favor, just have a I don't really want to sit down. I Like I said, I just got out of the hospital How much? My room. Just on the dress pants. Because unless you guys I mean, I don't have He said I'm okay, I'm a nurse, so I have no reason to What exactly happened? Huh? What happened? She was walking around the store with her family. And grabbed bags off the sales floor, concealed, went to the customer service to pay for two gift cards, and then attempted to walk out. Okay, did she pay for those gift cards? She paid for the gift cards. How did she pay? I believe it was cash. I can search it up. I actually my I actually uh used my uh son's debit card. >> Your son's debit card? Yeah. Yeah, it still doesn't help me. I'm going to try this one more time. You have nothing on you with your name on it. >> No, I don't. Okay. I just This is just something I used in the hospital. I was in there for 2 days. So, so Okay, listen. How old are you? Um 43 years old. Okay. So, that's what I was telling him. L- L- Listen. Listen to what I Listen to what I'm going to say to you right now, okay? Upon arrival in the security room, officers are immediately met with the suspect's [music] rapid defense. I didn't start doing this job yesterday. Maybe this is your first time. Maybe you're it isn't. Through experience through experience 28 years of doing this, it's typically not someone's first time, especially when they don't have ID. We can't find any record of you in the Secretary of State system. There's a problem. So, here's here's here's what's going to happen. Okay, we're going to do one of two things. One, I'm going to ask you for your name and date of birth again. You're going to give me the correct name and date of birth, and I'm and I'm going to find you. If I can't find you you're going to have to come with me to the station. You are going to be under arrest. You are going to get fingerprinted. I have no reason to lie, sir. I don't have anything. I was with my son, like you said. I used my You can ask me M- You can drop a hundred names of people here that you hear all the time. >> trying to give you a sob story or anything. >> I I have a job to do, and everything is on camera. That's why I didn't even give him any any any hassle. Okay. So, is your married name Wilson, or your married name Bilbro? >> name is Wilson. It was Bilbro. He just asked me to give him what it was before then. Okay. Have you ever been arrested? No, I have not. >> Never? And we just moved from downstate Illinois. Okay, you've always lived in Illinois? Uh before then, I was when I was a baby in California. Did you ever have a state ID or a driver's license in the state of Illinois? >> Yeah. Which one? I had an ID and a driver's license. Okay, have you ever had a driver's license or a state ID from any other state? No, I have not. Okay, give me a minute. Huh? I've run every single possible name. No, absolutely. Yeah, I just need an amount. I'm giving you a 122 The suspect holds on to her story, but the officer's experience makes it clear that it won't be enough. If she's cashed checks here, will there be record of it? Okay, so here's here's our options. Do you Do you want to cut her? That's on you. I can't I can't I have no idea who she is. We've tried everything possible. That's just not her. I have no problem doing that. I mean, you're going to have to come something clean. That's correct. Spell your name again. Not you. Cisneros. I'll remember this one day. I promise. >> [laughter] >> Yeah. All right. Officer Martinez Can you please search? Let me see this. Yes. Can I just pay for it if that's the case? No. Okay, well, I'm just looking. The officers and store staff discuss how to move forward, and the outcome isn't in the suspect's favor. I cannot identify you in any way, shape, or form. I have tried running your name a million different ways. Nothing comes up with you. Who's your Am I going to find anything in here with your actual name on it? Well, here's the thing. If I can identify you, I don't got to go through all this. But you're giving me every reason to not believe you. Well, here's the thing. So, there are plenty of reasons There are plenty of plenty of reasons I just want to show you something. So, There are There are many reasons to lie. What I'm trying to explain to Ma'am, I can't even identify you. How can I tell you if you have warrants or not when I don't even know who you are? There's no way the state of some some record of you. The suspect tries to stand her ground, but the officer's responses leave her struggling to respond. Okay, so here's what's going to happen. You're going to go to the station. We're going to have to fingerprint you for identification. Once we can identify you, Once No. No, once we identify you, if it's not if it's your first time being arrested, you're going to get a citation on scene and be released. If you have priors, if you have prior arrests, it will be a And who's he with? Who's the other adult? How old is your older son? Okay. Well, then they they are more than welcome to come on down to the police station. We'll we'll let them know. Where are they? What's What's What's he wearing? Trying jacket and All red joggers. We're going to let him come down to the police station. They can wait for you in the lobby. Do you have an idea in the car with him, do you? Okay. Who's this mine? Okay. Um Yeah. You're going to You're going to bring it down? Three of them? Okay. It does show her going past the last point of purchase. Does she actually exit the Yeah, please. The suspect cycles through multiple excuses, but none of them are enough to change what's coming next. Okay. Is that it? Okay. Yes, you're past the last point of purchase. Once you come through the first set of doors in the vestibule, yeah. Okay. No, because I can't even identify you, ma'am. This is what I'm trying to tell you. What second I do for me? Um you know what? No. All right. Thank you. I'll contact you. Okay. Yeah, I know. That's We're not going to have No. We're not even going to talk with him since he doesn't want to talk with us. Have a seat. Have a seat. Can I call him when I get to Yes. Hold this for me. Sit right there for me, please. Ma'am, I need you to sit back here with me. I'm trying not to I can't He's with your grown son, who's 26 years old. What should have been a routine trip for groceries took a turn for the woman, and by the end of the night, the suspect [music] was charged with retail theft. Airport shoplifter tried to walk off with thousands. Didn't make it far. On November 11th, 2025, officers responded to a retail store inside Austin Bergstrom International Airport after staff [music] reported a woman attempting to steal a large amount of merchandise. Watch how officers handle the case. Thank you. I can show you on camera right now. The store staff give a brief rundown on what happened and the amount of stolen merchandise they reveal is absolutely shocking. Is this the same Yeah, the small roller is like 700 something bucks and the backpack itself is like 150 something bucks. What is She's trying to say that she thought this was one of like you know how like Amazon has stores where you can like grab stuff and walk out and they charge it to your account. She's saying it was like that. But like the video that she just got you can tell she walks up, grabs it, she steps over here like looking and she's looking and then she walks and hides right there for a second and then she just walked out back there. I was not I was trying to walk out there. I mean I was sitting on my gate. Uh Okay. I'll wait for him cuz I know he's getting the same video that you got. Yeah. And it was Macy's that's why I walked in this place as you walk in and out and that's I thought it was a scan as you walk out. I wasn't trying to leave without it. I said on my gate, I'm not trying to do anything. I'm willing to pay for it. And I apologize to him. He said he could lose his job and I feel really bad. I really do. And I I did not switch tags. I have my my bag over there. I didn't do anything to misguide you. Look, I I was just sitting on my gate. Yeah, okay. I'll I'm going to I'm going >> work, honestly, and I'm going on a on a trip on Friday so I needed a bag. I saw it. It was Macy's and I thought it was like a thing that you can I mean most stores in in any other airport I travel a lot. You can walk in and out and they scan as you walk out. Okay. In Minnesota they do it like all over. And it's my bad. I didn't even look. I didn't even look. I needed it for the weekend that's what I'm like I was trying to buy it. Okay. All right, give me just a second and I'm talking to him and then we'll figure out. >> Okay. You want to go back home? I feel really bad. I really do feel bad. After reviewing the surveillance footage, the officers turn to the suspect for her side of the story but her explanation only raises more questions. Have we got her information yet? Yeah, I got her ID. So, we got her so that Yes, so what I was saying is that in Minnesota I'm I'm not I'm not Yeah, I'm not concerned. Where are the tags at? To to the >> So, I went to the bathroom. I used the bathroom and I need I needed these for the weekend. What Where are the tags? >> And I went back Can you go get the tags? Yes and they're not there. Okay. It's all the bathroom stuff there. Okay. All right. I did look. The possibility is that if he does purchase it he Okay. He's fine with it. So, there's that. That that is a an option but he can't >> That's what it is. Sorry. But if he can't find the proper tags for that then Can I get them from the other ones that are like the same I mean there is like I looked at the colors and I thought It'll be up to him. It'll be up to him if he can do I don't I don't know if they can do that or not. Okay cuz there is all that I mean I looked at the colors. I wasn't trying I looked at the colors and I like burgundy So, I don't know what that does to their inventory. So, if he rings up a black one it might reduce their inventory by one. Okay. >> So, you taking that one and and the tags not being with it anymore now it is causing a problem with their inventory. So, he's going to see what he can do to try to fix that. If not then he's not going to So, you went back to look at When did you go back to look for the tags? Just now she let me go. Oh. Just now and I left my bag here. And I said I did I I mean I went to the bathroom from here to the bathroom and then to the gate. Actually I went to the lounge. Okay. And then to the gate. So, they clean up the bathroom. Okay. And I tell my gate that I'm late for it. Am I going to miss my flight? You think? I just get I mean normally that I mean if it's a 2:10 Well, that's >> 40 >> 2:50 Yeah, 2:50 I have time. I think I have a couple I mean it just depends on Where's your gate at? Which gate would Right here like 10. She's out of state so we can't give her a citation. I mean I I swear I promise. Oh, yeah. He says they're normally that expensive which >> Yeah, they are they are. I mean I'm buying it because I'm going on a trip with my family and it's my 50th birthday. Is your family out there? Here? >> In No, in Minnesota. I came for work. Okay. So, I I was buying it to go on a trip to Mexico and in Minnesota. I Okay. Can you can you run another color? No. The way the Right, it's going to it's going to mess up his >> I mean I could have just not come back and took my bag and leave. But I'm not trying to do that. I just What? By the time they got her back here they let her go look in the bathroom for the tags. He only doesn't have another tag for the maroon one so he can't scan a black one and sell it cuz it's going to mess up his inventory. So, there's there's not much he can do. All right. So, and you do want to press charges now, correct? Okay. All right. Okay. So, it's unfortunate but that's what it is. So, I don't know what to tell all of them and then can I buy the black one? Some of them, not all of them. >> [laughter] >> No, I promise. I promise. All right, we're going to walk out to my car. You want to stop by the checkpoint? That's exactly what I'm going My check I got checkpoint 2 West. We'll get We got to go So, whoever Despite her earlier conversations with the officer, the suspect remains [music] stubborn and makes a comment that catches everyone off guard. Who wants to pick them up? Just to check one more time. I'm sorry, it's two but two four five. >> four five. Okay. I have them already paid for cuz they said promise. Yes, ma'am. I wish you would have paid for them to begin with. >> I thought I did. I thought I did. >> an unfortunate situation that >> I thought I did. Airport 36. 60. Thank you. I mean, I'm always at the airport. I know exactly how many bags I swear to God. It doesn't matter. Yes, yes, yes. Two four five like this. I could have hide I mean, I could have done so many things if I was really trying. You You have to understand that, right? But it would have been good to verify with somebody >> have I should have I should have. I should have. And by not doing that, this is the situation that you're in right now. >> understand. I I'm not I understand. I mean, if she let me go to the bathroom, I could have just not come back. We're going to have to go up and around to my car to try to get her around. Yeah. So, You understand she let me go. We'll walk We're going to walk this way inside. >> have just not come back cuz you weren't even there. I came back cuz I didn't do anything wrong. >> not saying you're guilty of anything. I would have come >> What What I'm saying is sometimes if people If you would have believed that that store was one of those stores you could just walk in and walk out. >> Yeah. Why would you take the tags off? You don't have to answer that question. >> was What I'm saying is those are questions that the people inside the store asked me. Yeah. I didn't want to walk >> I'm not asking you. No, like would you walk around with a bag with the tags on it? I don't. I'm I'm not asking you that. I'm just telling you what they what they Oh, I understand. No, it's not even I'm not questioning their I'm not questioning their thought process. On the way to jail, the suspect continues [music] to argue her case, but by now, it's clear that no amount of talking will change what's coming next. I would I I can see why they think I did it. >> Yeah. Yeah. No, I can see. I'm not even trying to blame them. I mean, they're doing their job. I feel terrible. I feel terrible that he could have lost his job. Actually, he wanted to help you out. If you had the tags, he would have helped you out. >> to God that I feel so bad that he would have lost his job for this. >> Yeah. He would have. I keep people's jobs. I don't I don't know why this is happening, but you know what? >> I I have an idea why it's happening. I have an idea why it's happening. Why?
