Look, they're removing me forcefully. Look, I didn't do nothing. Look, I didn't do absolutely nothing. >> No, no, no. >> I got to get some No, no, no, no. >> Get some more information. >> No, no, no, no. Oh my god, bro. What I do? >> Now you're under arrest. >> What I do? Why? >> If there's one thing airport officers learn, it's [music] to expect the unexpected. But these cases still managed to surprise them. Here are airport arrests that completely shocked officers. This dad took things too far at the airport. On October 4th, 2025, officers were called to an airport after staff reported witnessing a father allegedly becoming physical with his child. Here's what the staff told officers when they arrived. >> The cleaner guy is watching. >> Did you see it? >> No. The the cleaner guy. >> We did. >> I went or Mexico. Oh, >> we were in front of the um >> So, we called because he I don't know. We didn't hear why he got upset, >> but he grabbed the little boy. >> How? >> From his shirt. He slapped him twice. >> Slapped him where? >> In the head. >> With what? With with what? With his hand. >> Yeah. And then he grabbed him from his shirt and he threw him on the stroller. >> Like literally. And then he grabbed the stroller. He put the little boy in there. He he was going to throw it somewhere. >> But he didn't hear she he grabbed him by the he grabbed him by the shirt by the shirt and he threw >> him in the shoulder and slap him in the head. >> So with his hand the mom she was quiet trying to calm the little >> and then but we saw everything right in front of the the bagels. >> Okay. So um then a cleaning guy he was trying to he started saying something because >> Yeah. But you saw it. >> We saw it everybody cuz passengers over there. >> I need a statement from you. >> We saw it. >> So you got have to go to court and you got to explain everything. >> You got to go to court. Okay. Stop behind it. >> Don't go anywhere cuz I need a statement from you. All right. >> Don't go anywhere. >> Okay. Sorry. It's not only me. There's a lot of people that saw it. >> Yeah, but you you told me the information. So, you saw it. That's all that's all I need is one witness. >> Everybody can say. >> Yeah, but I know. But you're the one who saw the came up to us. So, >> there's nobody else here. >> One side of the story is already on the table. Now, it's the father's turn to explain what occurred. >> How's it going? >> How's it going? Off to work. OPD. >> How are you? I'm Ran. >> Yeah. >> So, let me just start by saying I work for the Port Authority at Nordic Air Force and the security department. >> Okay. >> So, I deal with PP authority police all day long >> on these secure areas all day long. >> Yeah. >> That little cleaner boy was a little troublemaker. >> All right. >> He didn't like the way I picked up my boy. If I want to pick up my boy from the sher, I can pick up my boy from the sher. >> Yeah. >> I'm getting irritated. Did I laugh? Did I yell? Sure. >> Why you irritated? >> Why? cuz I'm juggling kids. I'm just trying to figure out the whole totality of service. >> The boy flipped over because he's around on this stroke. So, we flipped over. I'm trying to juggle this. My wife's on the other side of the stansions holding coffee. Of course, we couldn't wait for coffee. It's just constant chaos. If you have a family travel, I'm sure it was just chaos. It was an isolated incident between us. That was it. Then I got this cleaner boy knocking on the window while I'm still still trying to get my stroller back upright, waving his arms at me. Like, what's the matter? What do you mean that shoulder up? Right. He was just trying to get flipped over. Yeah. Flipped >> over. The kid the kid was unbuckled. So he tipped over. >> Okay. >> So now he he he's rolling around on the ground still half buckled. It was just chaos. And I got this guy picking up garbage knocking on the window praying God. So I said, "What's the matter? What are they?" And he's like mumbling something. I said, "Pull the I I'm in I'm in secure areas, sterile areas all day long, 12-hour shifts in a major international airport." I didn't do anything wrong. It was an isolated incident. Yeah. Whatever you need from me is fine. You want to run my license? See if you get a hit, you could do that, too. They already did that. I'm sure TSA over here, too. >> So, that's my thing is uh there's multiple like witness over there. She's saying that like you also like slapped your kid across the head. >> They didn't get slapped, but he went on the cameras. >> Yeah. >> How you doing? >> What's up, bro? >> What's that? >> Where you from? >> New York. >> Valley Cottage, New York. >> He works in Port. According to the father, the incident was isolated and doesn't warrant police involvement. Witness statements, however, paint a different picture. >> Yeah, >> I was on the job. I was NYPD. I retired. >> This is just an isolated. You got multiple witnesses saying that you hit the kid. >> Nobody hit the kid. >> We got multiple like I said, we got multiple witness saying that you hit the kid. >> Okay. I'm just saying >> 6 months early. [crying] 069. It's going to be in New York. >> I was just telling him we need we need that cleaner guy to stop creating chaos over there. All >> he's saying he was intervening because because you said that he that you were very violent with. >> Yeah, I could pick up the kid from the shirt. That's not telling your partner here. I'm in sterile arrows all day long. I'm working the security unit and work here work. This was an isolated unit that was literally 10 seconds, probably less. And this this kid needed to >> Okay, but listen, I'm under like you know what I'm saying? Since you wear the uniform, you know that domestic violence in any form. >> Yeah. >> Let me let me let me talk first. Okay. Because like let me just you know domestic violence is not I mean it's it's serious taken. >> I understand that >> they're seriously taken everywhere. Especially New York because I was a cop in New York and I was I retired there >> New York and I was a supervisor. Lieutenant, okay. >> It's very, very serious. In Florida, it's even I think it's even more serious in Florida. Because in Florida, all you got to do is just this. >> The mere push just this a finger. >> That's a battery. >> That's a battery here in Florida. >> I wouldn't expect that in a red state, but >> I understand. No, because you know what it is? They don't want none of the northeast nonsense that happens there happened here. So everything in Florida, you're accountable for. >> The officer now walks him through the concerns raised by witnesses and staff. If you go to freaking 7-Eleven and you still a pack of gun because you don't live here, your bill is $1,000. >> Yeah, it's a rep saying we don't want or you know I've been here 5 years so now we don't want any of that northeast >> happening here. So you should I mean I mean listen I understand that you're frustrated but whatever it might be you know a long week like you spent a lot of money and you have a delay in flight but that doesn't apply here. Listen, I'm sorry you guys had to come out for it. All right. I mean, there's nothing else I can get. >> All right. So, we got two. I got these freaking um this cleaner, too. >> Yeah. You know, I'm I'm pick up quick. >> All right. Go talk to him. >> Yeah, man. So, your side of the story, your son was acting up. Stroller flipped over. You grabbed him. You grabbed him by the shirt. >> Yep. Picked him up. >> Uh picked him up. Turned the stroller upright. >> Tried to. Fell again. treasure at >> tripping over the stansion. >> According to you where you told me, you did not slap your kid on the head. >> It's not my slapped. No, I don't think I slapped him. >> Did you? >> No, I don't think so. If I slapped his hand down, it stopped. I maybe I don't know. >> What about the head? The head there. >> I mean, you want to No, I'm just asking. >> I don't remember. It just moment, but no, I don't think so. >> Okay. All right. Sounds good. Stand by. While the father continues denying that he harmed his child, the officers continue [music] speaking with witnesses. According to a cleaner and another employee, the force used against the child appeared excessive. And now with those statements in hand, the officers make their next move. >> You got the cleaner saying that he was violent with the kid. He was taking the kid. >> Yeah, bro. [clears throat] And the going to have two statements from that type of team. So, we just bring him over here and >> then talk to him over here. Hey, man. Listen, I got to be straight up with you. Like, like I told you before, this the state of Florida is very very um >> with very strict when it comes to domestic violence. You know what I'm saying? And I got multiple witness that keep coming up to me, multiple multiple, but I got two witnesses specifically who said that they saw you, you know, being very violent with the kid, hitting the kid and all that stuff. >> I picked them up when they hit a moment. With that being said, >> okay, but that being said, >> I mean, listen, we got to take you there, bro. >> 100%. >> You're kidding, right? >> I'm not kidding. I don't >> I'm withdraw. >> Are you a PADD? >> Yeah, I'm I'm with I work. Are you a cop? >> No, I work I work for I work with them constantly. Okay. But >> this time breaches that I go. >> Just put your hands behind your back real quick. Okay. >> Let me say goodbye to my kids real quick. Listen to me. I'm not Listen. I'm not into that right now. So just put your hands behind your back right now. Okay. Put your hands behind your back. >> You know I'm not saying that you're a police officer, but you're not. Right. >> The board. >> Yeah. Yeah. So I'm talk to your wife. >> I don't know if she wants to fly out. [clears throat] just want >> you guys are really playing with my career right now. I work in >> Listen, I'm not paying for you. >> You made that. Listen, you make that conscious decision to actually do that. >> Okay. I didn't make you do that, >> my boy. >> I understand the moment. But you're in a different state. So when you're in a different state, you don't know the laws here. You don't know ankle. So when you on your especially with your family, you got to act accordingly because like I said in the state of Florida saying by yourself, you are, you know what I'm saying, responsible for all your actions. >> The officers have made their decision. Next, they explain the situation to the man's wife. >> Just leave it in there for now and can we back around the corner so my daughters don't see us? >> I'll talk to your wife. Yeah, I'll talk to your wife. Okay. What's your husband's name? >> I'm sorry. >> That's your husband, right? >> Raymond Walk. He He's going to come with us. I'm being like suicid he's being placed under arrest, right? Violence that >> So listen, I have multiple witnesses who are running away statements saying that he was violent with the child and it was an Indian child in the state of Florida. That's he's taken very serious. >> I swear the stroller just fell. I didn't see everything. >> Okay. But I'm saying I have multiple witnesses. >> Okay. >> We're going to write a statement. So I don't know if you want to fly out today. I don't know if you want to stay out. Can't can't stay here. >> Okay. So, you're going to have to fight back then. >> Okay. Am I allowed to talk talk to you? I don't >> Yeah. Yeah. Just please, >> huh? >> I don't know what to do. >> I mean, you can go talk to him for like a a second. I'll watch the um kids. Okay. >> So, what did he tell you? Did he tell you about my take? >> You're going to fly home >> before the doors close. Once you get settled in James, make sure they have your phone number. >> Even after being taken into custody, the man remains firm in his version of events. >> What's your wife's first name again? >> China. And I'll be really honest with you, man. I'm sure you get this all the time, but I'm really worried about her right now. >> Yeah. Yeah, I understand. >> That's That's a lot. >> A lot of bags. And listen, I understand you resonate, but >> listen, I don't think about it. So, listen, I have >> I know you sound like it's on camera. I have multiple I can't >> Did they review the camera yet? Cuz I don't, like I said, I do this all day long with the video footage >> and running around to breaches and stuff. >> I'm limited to that. So, you know, I'm limited to that. I have witnesses have two witnesses saying and have multiple people. I I think what you had was someone see a scene, but if I could talk to your sergeant, I'd appreciate it. >> Yeah. Yeah. I'll take like I said, like once we get into the car, you know, we can talk to all you want. All right. >> Legitimately worried about her cuz he's a handful on the plane, too. >> I'm I'm really concerned right now. >> And you have the right to be and she's right now she's very stressed out >> that she's very upset. So, you know what I'm saying? But understand everything that you're saying, but I don't have a choice. >> She waiting for me to be in the car or just It's just our policy. We got to put you in the car. Once you're under arrest, we got to put you in the car. >> It's just our policy. >> That's That's going to be really messy with my career now, too, because now it's going to come up as a hit. >> I I work in security in the serial area and international. That's going to be a problem. Now, now I'm seriously concerned about that on top of it being stressed out. >> I don't understand. Yeah, I got my hands tied in. Mr. is domestic violence is taken very very seriously. >> I don't think it was what everybody thinks it was. >> Listen, I wasn't there. Like I said, I have witnesses telling me this and they got a right statement. So, I mean, that's nothing I can do. >> You mentioned something about the head and the more I think about it. >> Probably trying to push him back down into the seats probably what was going on. >> Yeah, but like I told you, domestic violence just the mere push the mere just the mere push doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. >> The encounter is nearly over. Now comes the walk out of the airport. >> He's coming up by pulling up. >> I'm going to I'm going to just go pick your pockets real quick. Sure. >> Make sure you don't have any weapons on you. All right. All right. Just only >> have you seen inside? >> Did you double lock it? >> Yeah, I did. I double lock >> here. I like inside. >> Jesus. Hold on. >> Just go over. Yeah. You know what? You know what? You can sit this way. It's know it's a little tight, but just like that. >> All the way down. >> Yeah. The encounter ultimately ended with a man being taken to the station for processing. This family never expected their trip to [music] end like this. On December 30th, 2025, officers were called to an airport after staff reported that a family was causing a disturbance at the ticket counter. Here's what employees told officers when they arrived. >> How are you guys this morning? So, they're in group five. We have a bag policy that we were trying to explain. The gentleman got upset. He said that he did she spoke to him first. >> He said that he was not going to pay for the bag. So he came up. I boarded them biometrics, the wife and the kid. I went and I asked him, "Sir, you need to come around so that they can go ahead and put he said no." Then he started calling her out. Her name was very disrespectful. He said that he wanted to spin her face. And she comes and I said, "If you guys are going to all come, I need you all to come around the front so you guys can stay together." There's three of us. >> She comes and she goes on the jet way. After I asked her and I asked her, "Ma'am, come outside." She said she didn't want to move. And then she blocked me from doing my job and closing the door. So then she went, she text me. I said, "Stop touching me." Now I just asked her the password so I can remove them from the flight. She wants to go touch me. I said, "Back up. Stop touching me." And now she's asking for forgiveness that um you know she wants to apologize for how they spoke to her and how they treat no you guys should have thought about that prior to the flight. >> Let me ask you when she entered into the gym bridge here she was allowed she they had tickets to go in. >> Yes. >> Okay. That's how I want to make sure I don't worry about a breach situation. All right. So what are we doing with them? >> They're not they're not coming. >> Understood. And they're aware of this. >> The staff has had their say. Now the family gets a chance to explain what happened. >> You guys speak English or no? Yeah. Yeah. What do you got? So, what's going on? >> Okay. So, uh we're coming from Tampa. >> So, we fly with that back. We don't pay for it. >> I understand. But, uh but so let me explain real quick for you. And that happens common with them. Okay. So, this is their hub. This is their training grounds. This is everything that they do for Spirit is hubbed out of Fort Lauderdale. Tampa may have not charged you. I'm going to tell you what happened yesterday only. >> Why don't you explain me that? >> I I will simp. I will explain that. She don't know. You have to pay and that's it. >> Because they're who knows what's watching them, right? Listen, I hear you, but that's an irrelevant thing to me. However, when it comes to the bag, they have to charge you. There's no way around that. They did something wrong in Tampa. Doesn't happen here. Correct. >> You're right. But they can do things that because it's not a training area. I'm telling you, a lot of things happen in other airports and then they come here and they're like, "Hey, they may have done something in Boston." Right. But when you get here, they're going to follow up by the book. I understand it's frustrating as a customer to you, but for them, they're not doing anything wrong. They're policy policy. Tampa did something wrong. Tampa should have charged you. You understand? So now, now we're in a situation where they're going to remove you off of this flight because they're allowed to do that. It's a private company and that's that. There's nothing that you can do about that. And that that's obviously a decision that's being made, right? Is that they're not going to deal with it and and that's what they want to do. Why they they taking me out from the [music] flight? >> Because of how I guess you guys were talking with them that you guys decided to enter as a family versus just one person and that's how it went down. So now they're going to >> we say sorry to him. I don't >> but it's still a private. >> We say sorry a lot of time. It's our Christmas vacation. We are family. Look, it's just I hear you. But there's nothing I can make them do, right? It's a private company. I can't make them say. >> So what I'm supposed to do? >> So what's going to happen is they're going to reimburse you your money. It takes 5 days and you guys can rebook with another airline. >> Wait, who? Wait, who? We don't know. >> I don't know where where you going to. >> According to the airline staff, the family won't be boarding this flight. Their best chance now is getting a manager's approval to rebooking. >> Will they allow them to rebook? Okay. >> So, he going to put notes in. He says you may go down to rebooking and talk to a supervisor outside there and see if they want to rebook you. But that's going to be the situation as of right now. You know, this is what we're dealing with. But what time what time we going to fly? >> You may not fly with them at all. It's going to be up to a manager. They're they're going to decide to let you fly. They removed you off of this flight. >> Why they do that? >> Why they do that? >> These are family tree. >> I understand. >> These are family tree. I always say sorry to them. >> But I can't make them accept an apology. There's nothing I can do on that. >> Well, let me talk to him. >> You can talk to whoever you want. But >> what happened? Um I I went up and down the line to check the people who had carry-on bags and I said, "Hey sir, um let me see your boot." He was on route 50 before he reached the front so he don't block the boarding area. Um you need to pay for the bag. I'm not paying for the bag. And I was like, "All right." So I let him stay in the line. I'm not going to push him off the line, but when you reach the point right here, we're going to advise you one more time cuz he now George advised him, "Oh, you have to pay for the bag." He's like, "I'm not paying for the bag. I came from Tampa like that. I want to speak to a supervisor. Okay. Well, we're going to close the door if the supervisor don't come. Um, you're going to stay behind. >> He's like goes on and on. He called me. He said, I want to spit you in your face. Um, he told me and I was like, listen, you could talk to your wife and your mama like that, but you're not going to speak to me like that. Okay? Because that's disrespectful. I'm not disrespectful you. I'm staying in my I'm in my tone. But then he was acting real stupid. And then once I said nothing really stupid >> just verbally >> and then um once they saw that we really going to leave the behind they want to calm down and said oh I'm traveling with my child you should have respect your child before that cuz you're not even respecting him that little >> she went through but they were boarding >> according to employees the disturbance didn't come out of nowhere they claimed there had already been issues earlier in the boarding process >> and we asked her to come cuz she we were going to close the door and she's like, "I'm waiting for my husband." I said, "Your husband is not going to travel." And and and you're not going to travel either cuz she was acting stupid, too. Um I didn't see George said that she he pushed through because I'm here dealing with him and George is trying to deal with her over there and so I didn't see all >> I speak I I speak a little bit not too much English, but I can try. >> Um Okay. We came from Tampa. It's our Christmas vacation. Stop walking for a second. >> We came from Tampa and we don't pay for that bag for that bag. So when we come in inside the lady told us we need to pay and my husband say why if we come to Tampa and we don't pay anything. Why we I must pay. No because I want you need to pay. She don't say anything about you are in Fort Lauderdale. You are in Tampa. She don't say nothing. She only say you are in Tampa. Uh you need to pay. You need to pay. and with but bad uh it was a bad explain you know she she can explain why we need to pay. So the only thing we put there we are we don't understand what is the the sides for the packages we need to pay or not and my husband and her start to >> uh say to fight I don't want to pay I want to pay >> or argue >> fight or argue >> that way >> argue >> like a talk talking to each other shoulder Okay. >> And that's it. >> And where were you? >> Well, here inside. Here inside because I'm nervous. I don't want to the plane go and the plane go. >> What happened when you went inside? >> Nothing. The other guy come in and he told me I need to come out and I say no. But I don't touch him. I'm a woman. I don't want to touch. And he yell at me very bad. He's he's a working here and I'm a client. I don't know. The woman's account is very different. According to her, the airline staff is the one who crossed the line. >> And he yelling me very, very loud outside. You can check the cameras. I don't touch him. I guess I can't touch him. >> Okay. So, we fly from Tampa with this bag. I don't pay for that bag in Tampa. I actually I never pay for that bag. Wherever I go, I never pay when I take it with me. I never pay for that bag. So when I get here, this lady told me I must to pay uh I don't know like 99 for 99 bucks for that bag. So I I tell her, "Hey, I'm going to pay because I don't pay. I never pay. So I don't know how supposed to pay right here." But the point where's George going? >> The point with these two guys is they they got they they talk to that's why I feel so bad. So, so, so you know, because they talk to you like like they are the illness or they have some I don't know some this kind of authority, you know, last. Hey, shut up or something like that. You're going to walk here. >> My husband too. >> He's going to come in a little bit. >> Okay. Just me. >> Just you. >> Okay. So, >> okay. Kevin. >> Hi. >> And my husband. >> He's coming. >> Okay. So, what am I doing? >> We're going to walk out and we'll we'll talk outside. >> Outside the what? >> Outside of the terminal. >> Oh my god. I can't believe it. >> They They refunded your ticket. >> I know what I'm supposed to do. >> Huh? I'm going to explain it to you now. >> I know, but I need to wait for my husband. >> He's going to come >> and my child. >> Yep. Whatever plans the family had for the day are now on hold as officers escort them out of the airport. >> Oh my god. So, let me let me I can't buy another ticket to to go to >> uh eventually, but not with >> Okay, but I need to stay here because I need to come. >> Well, right now you don't have a ticket, which means you can't stay there. >> No, I know I don't have a ticket. I need to buy it one, >> right? We'll discuss that out here. Oh my god. >> No. No. No. No. >> No. No. >> I got to get some No, no, no, no. >> Get some more information. >> No. No. No. No. Oh my god. Bro, what I do? >> Now you're under arrest. >> What I do? Why? Try not to do this in front of Um, >> oh my god. >> I can't I can put my hands. >> You got to go back >> here. >> No, come in the back. Just sit to the side. >> Please >> sit just like that. >> And uh my my husband, my child, please. >> You can't talk to them right now. >> Please go forward. If you sit at an angle, it'll take the pressure off of your wrist. Then what? Look. >> Well, what? What? >> If you sit If you sit like this, it'll take the pressure off. >> The encounter ultimately ended with a woman facing a charge of disorderly intoxication. Passengers couldn't believe what this couple did midflight. On May 26th, 2024, a flight preparing for departure was forced back to the gate after an alleged altercation between passengers. Watch how officers handled the situation. >> In 6, he was like, "No, I didn't get it." He tried to stand up punch. What did she say? He was recent. What? I missed the beginning part. >> Oh, we were in the middle of the demo. Uh lady behind that hit the button for us to >> Oh, okay. And then you got there and she said that. Okay. >> Okay. >> Yeah. All right. >> Hi. How you doing down here? >> Can you take him? Uh-oh. >> I'll take them down for the exit. Yeah. Yeah. >> Hello. How's it going? >> So, uh, what happened? >> Yeah. What what what occurred that this made this happen? >> Finances. Money can't pay. >> Oh, you know each other? Yeah, we didn't know. They didn't tell me that. >> Thought they were strangers. Oh, okay. Do you have your ID with you? >> Okay. And CD says your boyfriend. We have a child together. Okay. How old was the child? >> Where's the child here? >> Oh, okay. >> Okay. You guys are just flying home. You guys on vacation? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, what you guys are arguing about finances, he said. and >> what uh what led him to was sitting next to you. I have to relive it. I'm sorry. >> The officers have already heard several accounts. Next, they speak with a witness who says she watched the entire encounter unfold. >> I can tell you she >> Do you guys know each other? >> No, I was just in my life. >> Oh, okay. So, what what did you say? Uh they had been fighting pretty loudly and cursing loudly and there was a seat open between them. So they were like this and the middle seat was open and I think they were fighting over candy bar. >> Okay. Um and then we bought who lunch and then um sharing with each other and things like that. Just and then um I did hear him say, "Why don't you come here closer so I can punch him in the face?" And that's when my two daughters were right here and they could hear everything. >> Yeah. And so at that point, I can't say but did not see it. >> I did not see the this initial one. I don't know if he hit her or she hit him. >> Some altercation went down. I couldn't see it. I could only go by what I heard. >> You were behind it. They the seats were in the way, I guess. >> Yep. And I could see the, you know, between them. >> Um and then it kind of they pulled off for a little bit and so I thought, okay. >> Yeah. And then it kind of got fired up again. And then that's when he hit her and the baby and I did see that. >> Oh, you saw that? >> 100%. >> Yeah, that's when I knew. And then she turned around and asked me to hit the >> You hit the call button. She definitely witnessed physical violence between them. You know, we saw him strike her in the face. I just had to confirm it cuz at this point it's a domestic charge. >> Yeah. >> So it's this is all mandatory now. There's no um even if she doesn't want to press charges, this is all now that I have a witness, we're on body camera, it's on a plane, all this motion is now in place. So, we have to go over it. >> I wish I didn't see it cuz I don't have time for this either. >> After gathering multiple witness accounts, the officers move on to the next step of the investigation. >> I hope she's okay. But I did hear I did not see. That's why I can't say you're going to be okay. He was saying that she didn't prostitute him. I don't know. I didn't see it. >> Okay. But you for sure saw him hit. >> Okay. >> Um, do you have any questions for me or anything? >> I guess it's my responsibility from here on. >> Um, should a charge be generated, an arrest made, you might get a contact from the state attorney's office, but I mean, you were out of state. I'm just going to be they'll use your phone number. Um, they may or may not reach out. I don't know how these work cuz I don't do many arrests where everyone's out of state because now we've got victim, suspect, everyone's out of state. >> Um >> I don't know. >> They'll reach out but they won't, >> you know, they'll they'll call you. >> Thank you. >> Okay. So, what are you >> do you try are you trying to fly today or want to >> I want >> you want to go home? Okay. because I have to do a couple things before that occurs since this is now domestic violence, right? If you two are strangers, you go on the plane, he doesn't, we call it a day, no big deal. But since you have a child in common and you're dating, it's a domestic battery allegation, I have to listen to him. I have a witness saying it occurred. So, um, where is your where were you struck there? Does it look it painful right now? You have any other injuries? >> Right here. >> Okay. Uh I have to I have to photograph it. And then can you look right at the camera? Uh any other Let me see your hands. Can you um do you have a pocket or anything or I can hold that stuff? Cuz I got to take a picture of your hand. We have to do it every time because I don't see anything. And then the insides of their hands like that. It's just showing that you don't have >> After documenting her injuries, the officers asked the woman to walk them through what happened between her and her husband. >> You know, you didn't punch him. Obviously, you don't have any injuries to your hands or anything. So, what occurred at first prior to her seeing? Was there a physical altercation prior to that? >> Argumentation on finances. >> Was it physical prior to him punching you that she saw? >> No, just verbally. Yeah. >> So, you were only struck cheering on one time in the face. While one officer speaks with a woman, another begins gathering the man's side of the story. >> Do a report. I'm sorry. >> No, it's all right. We argue about everything. >> We don't usually have a problem in public though. >> Yeah. Usually try to behave in front of people on planes. I'm >> sorry. >> Oh, that's all right. But when she backhanded me, I freaked out and react and didn't understand what was going on. So I reacted and I did it too. And the lady saw me do that behind me and [music] she'll tell you she did it first. Probably. >> Probably. >> Maybe. I don't know. >> Who knows? >> We both grew up in Iowa. >> Okay. >> And I met her in Iowa and I moved to Kansas once we had a baby coming. I know I don't have anything on my record. So, >> okay, that's good. >> A couple overdue guys, but that wasn't reckless or criminal. It was, but nothing I'm not messing with people. Basically, I'm sure this happens, but not >> it doesn't happen at the airport. [clears throat] >> Usually, people are happy when they're traveling usually. >> Yeah. We were, but apparently not. >> How long have you guys been together? >> Been together for six years. Five years. Six or five or six? I don't know. Like I said, I had a stroke a couple years ago. It's changed life. I used to play basketball at Iowa and run 5 miles a day. And since the stroke, it's been difficult. >> Yeah, that's a lot to recover from. >> Well, we would make it home fine right now. Trust me. As the conversation continues, the officer informs the man that the airline may have concerns following the incident. >> Unfortunately, I don't think the airline will let that happen once something like this happens. I don't think they'll let you travel together because they'll be afraid something will happen up front. >> Yeah, they won't let usually they won't let you travel together because they're afraid if it happens again in the air then they got to divert and it's a big >> But we'll see. Like I say, we'll see. It's up to the airlines. Will you put one in the back or one in the front? I don't care. But for tomorrow off. >> Oh, yes. Yeah. Well, she told the attendant I punched her face. She did me. She backped me so I freaked out back her kind of weird but >> So he's not flying. >> No. >> Okay. I just need to get his >> Yeah, he's not get his last name. I just need his information. >> She's not flying, too. All right. >> She's fine. >> She belted me first. No, come on. >> Um, >> it's ridiculous. >> It's Brian Hints. Is that That's him. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> She back here. I mean, first, >> which his seat number? >> It's either 6A or 6C. I don't know. >> Six. Row six. >> Okay. >> Why is she going to fly first? I mean, come on. >> We'll go up there. >> Check in jail tonight. When do I get out? But I see the judge. Don't worry. >> Yeah. You go front. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. to come back to Florida or >> uh Well, that's that's actually a great question. I don't know. I've never done this at the airport. I don't know. You want me to pull my car up first or walk? Actually, let's walk over there that way nobody sees you. I'm not sure. >> Well, I really appreciate you cooperating, man. It's >> I'm fine. I'm fine cooperating, >> but I'm tired of her whining about everything. >> How long you guys been together? >> Five or six years with a three-year-old together. >> Yeah, that's what she said. But I'm moving out, trust me. >> Yeah. Um, all right. Here we I got to take that there and put it on the hood. Oh, it's heavy. >> Here, hop over here. >> The officers have what they need. Now comes the ride to the station. >> Um, you can't, Captain. >> Can you turn my car on? The keys are in the cup holder. All right. We just got to make sure there. I mean, obviously you just went through TSA, so >> What do you mean? >> I'm not marrying her. >> I'm going to check in. >> We have a three-year-old, but I'm not married girl. >> I got to put you in handcuffs, buddy. >> Uh, you can't move very well. So, >> I know. So, >> let me see if these even big. >> Uh, yeah. Go ahead and clip that bad boy on there. We're going to give you second set so your arms can move a little further. >> You got to sit in here for a few in the AC and then I got a van coming. That way it's faster and you're not going to have to sit in this cramped car while we go. >> Where's my bag going? >> It's going with you. >> I just can't have it like in the back with you sitting here. >> Uh you spin around. It's easier. >> Face out and stick your butt in. >> I can do this. >> Yeah, I'll help you. >> I'll help you. >> Kind of like sitting straight back on your butt and just push back. You'll have more room this way. And I'll crank the AC. The encounter came to a close with a man facing a domestic battery charge. This Uber driver tested the patience of the wrong cops.
